Patrick Brown's campaign against Pierre Polyev, the leader of the Yellow Vests Canada trucker convoy, is a direct attack on a far-left website run by radical leftist ideologues. And it's not just CTV and journalists like Glenn McGregor who are doing this nonsense. Unfortunately, it also comes from within the Conservative Party.

00:00:00.000 But it isn't just CTV and journalists like Glenn McGregor who are doing this nonsense.
00:00:05.400 Unfortunately, it also comes from within the conservative party.
00:00:09.700 So this week, we also saw Patrick Brown unleash a campaign against Polyev, basically using
00:00:15.660 the same line of attack, but coming from a different angle, saying that Polyev supports
00:00:19.820 a conspiracy theorist called Pat King and the supposed white replacement theory.
00:00:25.780 So here's a tweet from Patrick Brown saying that just that, let me read it.
00:00:28.620 He says, here is Pat King, a leader of the convoy, Pierre Polyev supported spreading the
00:00:33.920 dangerous white supremacist white replacement conspiracy theory, which was reported to have
00:00:38.700 been in the Buffalo Shooters Manifesto.
00:00:40.940 I condemn this hate and call on Pierre to do the same.
00:00:43.520 And then you pointed this out to me, Harrison, maybe you can walk us through what this tweet,
00:00:50.060 if we can just go back to that tweet for a second, what that was.
00:00:53.740 Yeah, so what you're seeing here is a video posted in 2019 by an account called Vests Canada.
00:01:02.700 Now, those three arrows pointing down, that's sort of the symbol of the anti-fascist radical
00:01:09.040 left.
00:01:10.080 And I just went on to that account's Twitter page, and they openly put out, they put in
00:01:16.860 their bio, anti-fascist exposing the yellow vest Canada movement.
00:01:21.840 So what you have here, Candace, which I think it's, to use the word contemptible, I think
00:01:28.280 this fits the definition.
00:01:29.420 What you have here is a conservative leadership candidate sharing an account that is basically
00:01:36.900 run by radical leftists trying to demonize conservatives, trying to demonize the right,
00:01:42.680 and using it to basically attack Pierre Polyev, and reaching, I will say, as well.
00:01:47.820 Because what you also have with this line of attack from Patrick Brown, Candace, which I
00:01:51.700 don't understand, he is using the same tactics as Justin Trudeau.
00:01:56.540 Justin Trudeau told Canadians that if you were a part of the, if you were supporting the truckers,
00:02:01.000 then you were also, you were also basically in favor of the one person waving the swastika
00:02:06.680 flag, or the one person waving the Confederate flag.
00:02:09.020 And we all rightfully said that that was, that was terribly divisive.
00:02:13.060 But Patrick Brown is now saying that because Pierre Polyev supported the trucker convoy,
00:02:18.020 he is now basically being lumped in with Pat King, someone who even the convoy organizers
00:02:23.420 distanced from because they find his views to be horrible.
00:02:26.740 So what we're seeing here is, is fundamentally not conservative at all, Candace.
00:02:32.500 They're using a radical far left Twitter page to launch attacks on conservatives.
00:02:38.920 And I think conservatives and Canadians should know about this sort of thing, and frankly,
00:02:43.400 be generally upset about it because it's horribly divisive.
