00:01:13.700 So three days after the horrific mass shooting, which claimed the lives of eight innocent people
00:01:18.500 in the remote community of Tumblr Ridge, most of whom were children, we've learned,
00:01:22.800 between the ages of 11 and 13. Police have finally released the names, ages, and photos of these
00:01:29.240 victims. Oh my goodness, these beautiful children. It's just absolutely heart-wrenching. Please take
00:01:34.640 a moment to pray for the families of these victims in this just truly, truly horrific act of evil.
00:01:41.440 So the killer's first victims were his 11-year-old stepbrother, Emmett Jacobs, then his 39-year-old
00:01:48.400 mother, announced by RCMP as Jennifer Jacobs. Though, again, online, she was known as Jennifer
00:01:54.040 Strang or Strange. They were shot at the family home before the gunman left for Tumblr Ridge Secondary
00:02:01.560 School. Then he continued his absolute atrocity at the school. He killed one teacher and five students.
00:02:10.620 So in total, five dead at the school, three 12-year-old girls, a 12-year-old boy, a 13-year-old
00:02:16.560 boy, and the teacher, so sorry, six at the school. And then later, Jesse took his own life. Now,
00:02:23.480 these are the victims of this tragedy. Abel Monswa, a beautiful 12-year-old boy, Ezekiel
00:02:30.220 Schofield, another, just, it's just so hard to look at these pictures of these beautiful children,
00:02:35.280 these beautiful Canadian children. Ezekiel Schofield, 13-year-old boy, three 12-year-old
00:02:39.700 girls named Kylie Smith, Zoe Benoit, and Ticaria Lampert were among the students dead. And then,
00:02:48.060 of course, there are 25 others who were injured and taken to hospital, including one in very critical
00:02:52.920 condition. This might be just a small bit of good news for you today. The mother of the little girl,
00:02:57.440 Maya Gabala, is holding on to hope beside her daughter's hospital bed in the ICU at a Vancouver
00:03:03.020 hospital, Vancouver Children's Hospital. So she has been posting on Facebook. We've been bringing you
00:03:07.160 those updates. The latest one came this morning from her mother, Sia. This is what she had to say
00:03:12.620 about her 12-year-old daughter, Maya Gabala. She said, day of recovery. She's moved. It's stimulus,
00:03:18.000 a kick, a hand move, but it's something, it's truly something new in almost 48 hours. Keep the positive
00:03:22.840 vibes. We need to know this isn't it. She will continue to improve despite those opinions. Remember,

00:03:56.700 that the media have told this week. And boy, there have been a lot. We'll also look at CBC's twisted
00:04:02.200 history with pushing the trans ideology onto small children. But first, I want to tell you about an 0.84
00:04:07.820 exclusive report here at Juno News. So the biological father of Tumblr Ridge Shooter told Juno News in an
00:04:14.860 exclusive interview that his son has never gone by this name that the RCMP had put to him, Jesse von
00:04:20.920 Rutzler. He is now demanding, the father is demanding that the RCMP clarify the shooter's identity
00:04:26.020 for the sake of his family. He said that there are other children in this small community
00:04:30.520 with the name von Rutzler. And it's not fair to them that all of a sudden this name is going to
00:04:35.900 follow this tragedy around when that's not the name of the shooter himself took. It wasn't his name.
00:04:40.760 It wasn't the name that he used online. It wasn't the name that he went by socially. So RCMP
00:04:45.440 identified the mass shooter as 18-year-old Jesse von Rutzler, who identified himself as trans,
00:04:50.940 though Juno News learned through various sources that he went by Jesse Strange. His father said this,
00:04:56.020 I am the biological father. I fought to be part of their lives, but always faced pushback from the
00:05:01.440 Strange family. Jesse Strange had a passport with that name on it. So he claims that the passport
00:05:06.180 said Strange and not von Rutzler. Jesse von Rutzler also told Juno News that the shooter was born with
00:05:12.560 that name, but that his mother and grandparents kept Jesse and his biological father apart, and that
00:05:17.400 Jesse always went by Strange. He continued, there were other kids in this town with the name von Rutzler
00:05:22.780 who have no association to Jesse Strange. Their lives are going to be forever changed by this.

00:05:43.160 this because it's a bit confusing. This is what they have to say. The name released aligns with our
00:05:47.080 standard processes, and it is what appears in official documentation. Okay, they also go on to
00:05:53.500 say that the shooting will be reported to Statistics Canada to record both the gender the shooter was born
00:05:59.640 with and his gender identity. So according to the RCMP, they're going to mark the shooting down as both
00:06:04.840 a man and a woman because the guy was born a man but identified as a woman. So according to our records
00:06:10.120 and our crime rate and all the data from Stats Canada, it's going to list the shooting as both being
00:06:14.840 carried out by a man and a woman because Canada makes no sense. I mean, I'm sorry, that's insanity. 0.99
00:06:18.580 That's totally insanity. And of course, it's an inherent contradiction. And the father pointed this
00:06:23.420 out, right? He said the hypocrisy of using the shooter's preferred pronouns while pretending,
00:06:29.260 so they're willing to go along with that and pretend that the shooter was a female and even list it
00:06:33.260 as a female shooting, but that they won't actually use a name that he identified with. He identified,
00:06:39.020 obviously, his online profiles say Jesse Strange, and that's the name he went through according to the
00:06:43.360 father that's even the name on his passport. So he says this, quote, it's pretty sad that the media
00:06:47.660 will grant him the acknowledgement of him wanting to be a woman, but to name him with a name that he
00:06:52.680 never wanted and never used. Really unbelievable. You know, this wasn't the only contradiction that
00:06:58.100 we found from the RCMP. I've actually found that their communication all week have been really
00:07:01.940 confusing, right? Aside from just the weirdness of the whole gun person thing, but putting out a fake
00:07:08.360 name saying the fake gender, and that's just the start of it. Put together a little montage here
00:07:13.440 of just some of the worst examples of the RCMP obfuscating, misleading, pushing out false
00:07:19.100 information. It's really been a bad week for the spokespeople of the RCMP, in my opinion. Let's play
00:07:24.600 that montage. Just to clarify the number, there were eight people in total found deceased. Is that correct?
00:07:31.840 So we have nine total people deceased. We found eight in Tumblr Ridge in two locations, and then
00:07:42.600 another was deceased during ambulatory transport to the clinic. Okay, and none of those people are
00:07:50.380 the gun person? That includes the deceased gun person. Okay, and then separately, do you know the
00:07:56.440 gun person's relationship to the school? Not at this time, no. He said that they were looking for
00:08:02.440 a female with brown hair wearing a dress, but we have not heard anything more from police about a
00:08:08.680 possible suspect. Also, careful not to call the person a gunman. Walked around our rec center for
00:08:14.420 about six hours looking for my child. The police wouldn't tell me anything. I went home not knowing
00:08:19.980 where my daughter was until a high school kid named Maddie Levesque came here and told us her story 0.98
00:08:25.580 about trying to save my daughter's life. The police didn't tell us anything. We had to find out
00:08:30.000 through the community and through kids and rumors in the stands. We had to count because we were
00:08:35.180 watching the news put up body counts and we weren't being told anything. We identified the suspect as
00:08:39.960 they chose to be identified in public and in social media. I can say that Jesse was born as a biological
00:08:45.540 male. Approximately six years ago, began to transition to female and identified as female, both socially and
00:08:53.080 publicly. And you could go right back to the initial shooting itself. The emergency alert that
00:08:58.580 was sent out to people in the area warning them that something horrific was happening, that there
00:09:02.940 was danger. There was an active shooter out there. Recall that the police, the emergency alert that went
00:09:08.280 to all phones in the area, literally described the shooter as a female in a dress, right? And if you
00:09:13.940 think about it, that is the exact wrong information to be telling the public, right? If you think that
00:09:19.420 there's a shooter and it's a lady in a dress, you're going to stay away from women, right? But the 1.00
00:09:23.420 reality, of course, is the shooter was a man. So you could see how the actual alert that is designed
00:09:28.240 for public safety to keep us safe, it was drowned out by this ideology. The ideology said, no, no,
00:09:33.300 no, we have to describe this person as a female, even though obviously everyone in the town,
00:09:38.560 everyone around this person knew that it was a man, it was a male. And yet, again, they're putting,
00:09:43.140 they're putting politics and this ideology ahead of literal safety of the community. It's really,
00:09:48.520 really appalling. So the RCMP is pushing on fake news. And of course, the fake news media is also
00:09:53.520 pushing out fake news. So it is fake news Friday. We are going to go through some of the worst stories.
00:09:58.140 We showed you the libs of TikTok montage of the headlines, the mashup, showing all the news outlets
00:10:02.660 all over the world, reporting this is a female shooter, a woman mass shooter. Yeah, right. Okay. 0.90
00:10:08.040 You know, it's interesting. Some people were just saying straight out, like the Toronto Star, straight
00:10:11.960 out that it was a female shooter. Others were being a bit more honest and saying a female
00:10:16.740 identified shooter, someone who identifies as female. So I guess that's a little bit more
00:10:21.340 honest, but it's still very confusing to the public. It's not generally very steeped in this
00:10:25.980 radical trans ideology. I also noted a handful of these sorts of stories. They all kind of write
00:10:31.400 the same story. Here we see CTV misinformation about trans people flood social media in the wake
00:10:37.780 of BC mass shooting. And then CBC had basically the same story, same premise here. After Tumblr Ridge
00:10:43.740 shooting, false claims about trans people have proliferated online is interesting because
00:10:49.060 the false claims that they claim, the misinformation, it was actually just true stuff. Things like
00:10:53.600 the things that Juno News was reporting ahead of the curve. Yes, we confirmed the shooter was
00:10:57.720 trans almost 20 hours before the police actually admitted it. So that's not just, that's not false
00:11:02.840 claims. That's not misinformation. It's called journalism. We verified a fact through a family
00:11:06.820 member. That's called journalism. And we reported the truth. And yet in retrospect, they're sitting
00:11:11.580 here saying that it was misinformation. There's a clip of CTV that I want to play because it
00:11:16.560 exemplifies exactly what these people do. They say it's a false claim. And then they speak to experts,
00:11:22.240 but the experts are just activists. So they're not really experts. They're just telling you their
00:11:26.560 opinion. And then they dress that up as if it's a fact from an expert. So pathetic. I'll play a short
00:11:32.020 clip here from CTV. But for members of the trans community, there is a worry these statements
00:11:37.120 will lead to further marginalization. This is nothing to do with ideologies, politics,
00:11:44.460 being transgender. It's a mental health issue. Yes, in this case, it is mental health. But the 1.00
00:11:50.980 problem is, if you look at the data, if you look at the shootings that have happened in this country
00:11:55.580 and in the US, in North America, in the last 10 years, there have been a disproportionate number
00:12:00.040 from trans people, trans community. You know, the media play this like weird sleight of hand where
00:12:04.760 they'll say like, oh, there's only been one transgender shooting. And they'll point to the 0.95
00:12:08.000 Covenant school shooting that happened in Nashville, horrific shooting back in 2023,
00:12:12.160 where three children and three teachers were murdered in cold blood by a trans shooter.
00:12:16.500 And then the other examples, which there have been many, according to Judo News, we counted at least
00:12:20.420 eight mass shootings carried out by a trans person just in the last eight years. But they'll do the 1.00
00:12:25.860 sleight of hands. They'll say like, oh, that person wasn't trans. They were non-binary. Or, oh, that person
00:12:30.700 used to be trans. But at the time of the shooting, they weren't identifying as trans anymore.
00:12:34.320 And so we're talking about people steeped in the ideology. We're talking about people who are
00:12:38.760 experimenting with some of these hormone replacement drugs, these hormone drugs that
00:12:42.320 they pump full of children. There is a disproportionate number of shootings in the last
00:12:46.860 handful of years that have been from trans. It's something that needs to be looked into. It's a 1.00
00:12:51.140 serious issue. It's not just about political scoring points. It's saying, hey, maybe there's
00:12:56.880 something here. It looks like a lot of the recent examples, even the recent assassination of Charlie
00:13:00.920 Kirk, the alleged shooter. He wasn't trans, but his boyfriend was. His boyfriend was part of the 0.99
00:13:05.640 trans furry community. And so it's like, and in his own writings, he said that the reason that he did
00:13:11.680 it was because he thought that Charlie Kirk was some kind of a transphobe. So yes, there is some
00:13:16.800 connection here. Anyone who looks at the data and looks at the research will be able to tell us many
00:13:22.600 other examples. Colorado Springs nightclub shooting in November 2022. Someone went in and shot up a gay
00:13:27.840 nightclub. And at first it was all over the media, right? Because they wanted to paint it as, oh, maybe
00:13:31.520 it was a right wing person shot up a gay nightclub because they were homophobic. Oh wait, it turns out
00:13:35.200 the shooter was on binary. As soon as that fact came out, the story disappeared. It disappeared from the
00:13:40.260 media, disappeared from the headlines. They memory hold it. They didn't want to talk about it. In 2019 in
00:13:44.720 Denver, two teenagers shot up a high school STEM school Highland in Ranch. One of the shooters, 16 year old
00:13:50.800 trans-identifying female, meaning a boy, Alec McKinley, was one of the attackers. Again, this
00:13:58.000 shooting in Minneapolis at Annunciation Catholic Church. He went in on August 27th, 2025 and shot up
00:14:05.320 a church during mass. Again, it was 23 year old trans-identifying female who opened fire killing 1.00
00:14:12.260 two children, an eight-year-old and a 10-year-old. There's something there. It's not good. We should
00:14:17.300 look into it. That's all I'm going to say. Okay, I want to get to CBC Kids here because the things
00:14:21.960 that they push are absolutely deplorable. This idea that we should be transing little kids and 1.00
00:14:26.980 that little kids can get to choose their gender. Everything about the way that the CBC covers this
00:14:31.540 issue is wrong and perverse. I want to focus a little bit on this CBC Kids documentary they published
00:14:38.080 in 2019, Drag Kids, which followed four children between the ages of 9 and 11 around and promoted
00:14:44.700 the sexualization. Like, look at the way these kids are dressed. Look at the way that they're 1.00
00:14:49.360 acting. This is totally inappropriate for children. Forget about the trans angle. Just imagine that 1.00
00:14:54.680 these were little girls. Totally inappropriate. It's to sexualize children this way. And then on top of 1.00
00:14:59.120 that, add the fact that these are boys pretending to be girls. It is sick, folks. It is sick. Look at

00:16:10.220 that he started transitioning when he was 12 years old, okay, in the same year, 2020. So CBC is pushing
00:16:16.720 out this garbage on its airways. And I don't know if Jesse Strange was watching it, but that was what,
00:16:22.680 that was the time that he started going down this path really needs to be looked into. And I'm sorry,
00:16:27.820 but this stuff, CBC Kids promoting the sexualized agenda, promoting the idea that boys can change
00:16:34.140 their gender, that you can become a girl or a boy, and that you might've been just born in the wrong 0.57
00:16:38.020 body, is atrocious. Our state broadcasters should not be promoting this. Nobody should be promoting
00:16:42.260 this, but especially not with our tax dollars. It is absolutely unacceptable. That's why Juno News is
