00:00:38.940 officials saying, uh-uh, no vaccine passports, no looks like vaccine passports, and kind of wringing

00:00:44.240 your hands over the vaccination status of others and just generally obsessing over other people's

00:00:48.600 status, that that is the new thing that the COVID busybodies are now clinging onto. And I saw the

00:00:55.420 latest example of it on social media. I just had to chuckle. I gotta tell you, if you're not familiar

00:00:59.780 with Twitter, and bless you if you aren't, because, I mean, boy, the thing gets bonkers at the best of

00:01:04.020 times, there's a little thing on the side that tells you what's trending. And long ago, I learned what

00:01:08.160 they really mean is what some sort of, like, left-wing social justice influencer wants you to think

00:01:14.620 is what everybody's talking about and what's trending. And I saw Good Life pop up. Good Life

00:01:20.580 Fitness gyms. I'm a member of Good Life in Canada. I'm pretty happy with it because you get the

00:01:24.680 membership, but you can go to any location. The little pass you get, it gets you into other places,

00:01:28.560 so if there's one near your home, you go to that one on the weekends or evenings or what have you.

00:01:56.780 such a large company. Now, get a load of this. Good Life posting to social media, yay, we're going to

00:02:01.740 be open on Friday in Ontario. A person writes back, will members have to show proof of vaccination to

00:02:08.200 work out? And here's what Good Life says in response. Hey there, at this time we are not

00:02:13.660 planning to require associates, so that's employees, or members to be vaccinated to enter our locations.

00:02:25.800 vaccination status. Okay, well there you go. You got Doug Ford saying no vaccine passports, Jason

00:02:31.420 Kenny as well. You know, you've got other people like everybody who wants a vaccine, particularly in urban

00:02:36.980 locations, has access to pretty much double doses by now. I think some people in rural neighborhoods

00:02:47.520 about going to the fitness club and so forth, even now when coronavirus cases are so minimal that

00:03:53.940 get the rationale here that the 70% or more of Canadians who got that first dose presumably did so

00:03:59.600 because they wanted to. They felt it was a thing that they should do for themselves or their loved ones

00:04:04.040 or what have you. This idea that that they need to be the only ones who are allowed to work out or

00:04:10.380 something or at these establishments. And that's kind of the logic of a lot of these vaccine passports 0.96

00:04:16.100 right now. I think a lot of people just kind of want them introduced as punitive measures to punish

00:04:36.900 choose not to go. And that's how it works. And you don't need a vaccine passport for a place like Good Life.
