Summary

Summaries generated with gmurro/bart-large-finetuned-filtered-spotify-podcast-summ .

The Chinese are working on behalf of Mark Carney and the media are covering it as if he is somehow the victim. This is absolute nonsense. China is working to help him, not against him. They know that he loves China, just like Justin Trudeau does.

00:00:00.000 So let's just take a look at how the legacy media has reported on this huge
00:00:04.800 news that China is actively working on behalf of Mark Carney.
00:00:08.200 Here is a global news headline, Carney targeted by Chinese WeChat
00:00:12.900 operation in Canada.
00:00:14.200 He was targeted.
00:00:15.600 He was targeted, folks, making it seem like he's somehow the victim.
00:00:19.400 Well, it isn't just global news.
00:00:20.900 CTV mimicking the same language.
00:00:23.200 Elections task force detects Chinese information operation targeting Carney.
00:00:28.700 okay so if you're just reading headlines out there like many many Canadians get
00:00:33.020 their news by just scanning the headlines you would think oh no Mark
00:00:36.560 Carney is being targeted in a campaign by the Chinese that must mean that the 1.00
00:00:41.180 Chinese don't like him and that he's standing up for Canada right that was 1.00
00:00:44.540 what you would think if you were reading these headlines finally the CBC
00:00:47.300 security official report a Beijing linked online operation focused on
00:00:51.800 Carney oh it's just focusing in on him nothing nothing harmful nothing to worry
00:00:56.740 about here just just targeting Carney and focus on Carney this is absolute nonsense this is
00:01:01.940 absolute nonsense it's the opposite it is targeting his opponents right during the 2021 campaign we
00:01:07.460 know a WeChat a similar WeChat campaign was out there targeting Aaron O'Toole in a negative way
00:01:12.740 they were targeting him because they were attacking him because they didn't want Aaron O'Toole to win
00:01:16.820 they wanted Trudeau to win because the Chinese Communist Party likes Liberals in Canada they
00:01:21.060 want the Liberals in office and the media is an absolute disgrace and an embarrassment pretending
00:01:27.140 that somehow this is targeting Carney. No, it is not. It is benefiting him. It is, if anything,
00:01:32.100 it's targeting the Conservatives because they don't want a Conservative government. They know
00:01:35.300 a Conservative government would be strong for Canada, would have zero tolerance for this kind
00:01:39.220 of nonsense, would make sure that China was kicked out, not able to interfere in our elections. But
00:01:44.900 with the Liberals, they know that Mark Carney is chummy chummy, close friends with the Communists 0.90
00:01:50.020 in China. He loves the green energy over there. He loves China, just like Justin Trudeau
00:01:54.040 admired the basic dictatorship in China. Mark Carney is 2.0 exactly the same way.
