00:00:28.320 in Manitoba and that should be concerning to all Canadians for that reason and in Manitoba the

00:00:33.180 government has hired a private security firm g4s to boost its enforcement of covid regulations and

00:00:40.020 that means that their personnel is going to be handing out tickets by the weekend according to

00:00:44.640 the premier now that is really concerning because now you have a private security company basically

00:00:51.000 acting as a police officer or a bylaw enforcement officer the difference is that when the police

00:00:56.400 comes to do something or a bylaw enforcement officer comes to do something they have power

00:01:00.240 vested in them in that office because of legislation there's oversight there's an appeals process there's

00:01:05.780 maybe even a complaints department things you can do you know police sometimes might wear body cams even

00:01:10.040 when a private security firm is doing this it's totally unclear what is going to be the appeals

00:01:15.440 process what training they have what legal authority they even have to do such things now the premier

00:01:22.080 was quoted as saying that uh it's a company that has people who are used to dealing with situations

00:01:26.680 where let's just say it's not always pleasant as opposed to a lot of our government employees that

00:01:34.820 crack some heads are they supposed to go and just you know pull you out of your car and find you with

00:02:31.160 this is the new normal the interesting thing though is that PEI only had 68 cases and 65 of them cleared up

00:02:39.160 so there's three active cases and so you really have to wonder I mean you know it's entirely possible that

00:02:43.620 there are cases going on people who have no symptoms uh you know the virus is still spreading

00:02:47.180 around there uh again there's some idea of an Atlantic bubble and there was even a rumor as of

00:02:51.480 me making this video uh it has not come out yet officially but there's a rumor that they might

00:02:55.860 require you to apply to be able to even return to PEI should you leave to go celebrate Christmas

00:03:00.060 somewhere else um but with three cases you know look if I lived in PEI I'd be wondering what what's up

00:03:05.400 uh you know why there are so many restrictions and again it's just just kind of interesting uh that that

00:03:11.100 debate uh New Brunswick nearby uh they have a color-coded level and interesting they're they're

00:03:16.520 uh actually listing a green level and this is after a vaccine and herd immunity uh comes into play

00:03:22.360 and so that's you know it's good to see a government looking forward but the kind of weird or maybe even

00:03:27.040 concerning part is uh it says here on the on the site all conditions are lifted with the exception of

00:03:31.960 community face masks so that's the non-medical coverings which remain required to wear in public when

00:03:36.740 and so is that ill with the sniffles like if I have the sniffles do I have to continue to wear a mask

00:03:41.980 uh is it only ill if I have uh covid and everyone has a vaccine it's not really clear um you know

00:03:48.380 some more explanation on that would be interesting uh in Ontario again where I live um they we have a

00:03:54.080 color-coded chart here uh from prevent protect restrict all the way to control and finally lockdown

00:03:59.240 so we're one of the few provinces that actually has lockdown still listed as a possibility of where

00:04:03.640 this thing can go uh I mean I think it you know it is a possibility regardless of where you are if

00:04:08.040 cases and deaths start shooting up uh which does not look like that's going to be happening except

00:04:12.520 for the deaths especially um but in Ontario there's a lot of calls to uh you know move to

00:04:19.040 increase controls I know the John Torrey the mayor of Toronto is looking at having some increased

00:04:22.800 measures uh the kind of weird part about that is the seeming logical inconsistency in the beginning

00:04:28.460 of this pandemic when there was about three four hundred cases per day we were in that crazy

00:04:32.760 lockdown nobody could go anywhere now we have about fourteen hundred cases per day and so we're in a

00:04:39.020 far less restrictive mode of being and that's you know it maybe it has to do with the death rate uh

00:04:44.120 the death rate is obviously far far lower um but it's just one of those things that kind of makes you

00:04:48.960 uh makes you wonder what is up and you know when maybe what makes sense what doesn't make any sense

00:04:53.780 um you know Alberta a lot of interesting stuff going on there um certain areas that are in the purple

00:05:00.040 zones so the most heavily affected zones uh you're not allowed to do group indoor fitness and no

00:05:04.780 singing or dancing uh but I believe I saw on there that um you're still allowed uh wedding so 50 person

00:05:11.540 a limit on on weddings and ceremonies um but a 15 person limit to uh wedding receptions and so we kind

00:05:19.120 of wonder uh you know if you're gonna ban intergroup fitness and uh group singing and dancing um so you

00:05:25.300 you know I guess when I can't do that my wedding or maybe only the 15 people can uh maybe it doesn't

00:05:30.540 make sense if I can if I can have 15 people dancing at my wedding maybe they should be allowed to do a

00:05:35.420 group class you know again more of these sort of logical inconsistencies that you know just make
