Despite the fact that numerous public opinion polls over the last few years show that Canadians
00:00:11.480
think immigration levels are way too high, yesterday afternoon the Trudeau government
00:00:16.680
doubled down on mass migration, the importation of millions of people from around the world
00:00:21.820
to solve our demographic problems. If you really think that just means 500,000 people by 2025,
00:00:28.000
you're kidding yourself. As of this moment we have well over 800,000 active student visas in this
00:00:33.740
country, tens if not hundreds of thousands of migrants living in Canada that come each year,
00:00:39.340
temporary foreign workers, and of course people overstaying their visitor visas, something that
00:00:43.940
happens all the time in this country. We are likely going to be seeing population growth of well over
00:00:48.440
2 million people by 2025. Despite the fact that people who grew up in this country, who are loyal
00:00:54.420
to this country, and most importantly who love this country, can't afford to buy a house, raise a
00:01:00.400
family, and live a comfortable life in the country they grew up in. And if you think all of that is a
00:01:05.620
tough pill to swallow in a country that is rapidly becoming unrecognizable, it is looking increasingly
00:01:10.660
likely that Canada will be taking in tens of thousands, again if not hundreds of thousands,
00:01:16.240
of refugees from the Gaza Strip. We have stats, clips, and information coming up on this show that
00:01:22.240
will leave you shaking your head and wondering what exactly happened to this once great country of
00:01:27.940
ours. Drop a like in the video, help us out with subscribing to the True North YouTube channel,
00:01:32.360
stick around for the ratio of the week, and the comment question for the episode is this. Why isn't
00:01:38.440
Canada trying to increase the domestic birth rate instead of relying on immigration to solve our
0.62
00:01:44.500
demographic problems? Let me know in the comments and let's get into it. We start today's show with the
00:01:49.540
news coming out of Ottawa from the federal government. Despite knowing that things are
00:01:54.080
broken, despite knowing that things can't continue, and that Canada simply can't keep up with the scale
00:01:59.000
of mass migration, they are of course doubling down. Canada intends to maintain its target of welcoming
1.00
00:02:05.140
485,000 new permanent residents in 2024 and 500,000 in 2025. Starting in 2026, the number of newcomers we aim
00:02:17.560
to welcome will stabilize at 500,000. Why would they possibly admit that they've been wrong all these
00:02:23.940
years? Now, here is one of the strangest things about this announcement. Mark Miller, Canada's new
00:02:29.440
immigration minister, has told the country that Canada's immigration targets will now take into
00:02:35.460
account housing, health care, and infrastructure. What exactly do you mean by now? The only logical
00:02:42.400
conclusion one can come to is that while Canada has been embracing this program of mass migration for the
00:02:49.140
past five or six years and importing millions of people, those things like housing, health care, and
00:02:55.080
infrastructure haven't been taken into account. Again, not much of a surprise there, but you have to ask the
00:03:00.260
question. If the government wasn't taking into account housing, health care, and infrastructure while
00:03:05.240
bringing in millions of people, while forcing us all to accept an irreversible demographic change to our
00:03:11.000
country, what exactly were they taking into account? What exactly were they thinking they were doing?
00:03:15.980
Now, the most sinister part about this announcement is the fact that the government knows full well the
00:03:22.340
importation of millions of people isn't going to solve the housing crisis. These immigrants aren't
1.00
00:03:28.780
building homes. On Monday, Stats Canada released data which shows that job vacancy rates in construction
00:03:35.740
rose faster than any other sector in the economy. Interesting, because that data directly contradicts
00:03:42.100
what the federal government has been telling Canadians for years now. In August, Mark Miller told
00:03:47.120
Canadians that Canada's housing crisis, quote, absolutely cannot be solved without mass migration.
00:03:53.640
Even worse, at the beginning of this year, Justin Trudeau told a room full of construction workers,
00:03:58.920
you know, the people that actually build the homes in this country, that increasing immigration levels
00:04:03.240
will actually solve the housing crisis. These were his words. There are a lot of pressures on our
00:04:09.340
system. Increasing the immigration levels, interestingly, will take some of the pressure
00:04:14.680
off of the system. So increasing the levels will actually help bring in more people to respond to
00:04:20.820
that. Now, thanks to reporting from True North's Lindsay Shepard on this issue, we know that in August
00:04:26.400
2023 CIBC Capital Markets Report estimated that Canada is undercounting the number of non-permanent
00:04:33.880
residents living in the country by nearly 1 million people. Furthermore, a chief economist at the
00:04:40.560
National Bank of Canada, Stéphane Marion, said that mass migration is creating, quote, a record imbalance
00:04:47.300
between housing supply and demand. When asked questions about this, Mark Miller told reporters yesterday
00:04:53.200
that Canada can't increase immigration, but definitely can't decrease immigration into the
00:04:58.260
country. Oh, of course they can't. When we said to ourselves, are we in a position to increase?
00:05:03.220
The answer was no. And do we have any form of luxury to decrease? And the absolute answer to that is no.
00:05:08.480
And if it's true that Canada really is underreporting non-permanent residents living in this country by
00:05:13.160
close to a million people, that would be temporary foreign workers staying past their deadline and people
00:05:18.400
living here on expired student visas. Well, you'd be dreaming if you think Canada will be getting a
00:05:23.000
grip on that. Because according to an article in 2020 written in the CBC, CBSA did not know the
00:05:29.280
whereabouts of 34,000 foreign nationals slated for removal, slated for deportation. Of the 50,000
00:05:36.860
enforceable cases in the agency's inventory, CBSA didn't know where two-thirds were. They just couldn't
00:05:42.940
find them. Truly shocking. But what I'm going to tell you next is arguably even more concerning. On Monday,
00:05:48.520
news broke out of Israel that was making headlines in Canada. That's because an Israeli news outlet
00:05:54.360
reported on a concept paper drafted by the Israeli intelligence agency, which was trying to figure out
00:06:00.060
what to do with people fleeing the Gaza Strip. The first plan in this concept paper was to send
00:06:06.240
residents fleeing Gaza to Egypt, to the Sinai region. As the article states, Egypt would not
00:06:12.360
necessarily be the Palestinian refugees' last stop. The document speaks about Egypt, Turkey, Qatar,
00:06:19.580
Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates supporting the plan either financially or by
00:06:24.640
taking in uprooted residents of Gaza as refugees and in the long term as citizens. Canada's quote
00:06:30.860
lenient immigration practices also make it a potential resettlement target, the document adds.
00:06:36.780
What the Israeli government is really saying there is that Canada is willing to take in anybody and
00:06:42.540
everybody from around the world. That the liberal government simply doesn't care who you are. As long
00:06:47.720
as you make a case to enter Canada, we will accept you. They didn't use this exact language, but the
00:06:52.980
truth is the rest of the world sees Canada as a dumping ground for their problems. And isn't it strange
00:06:59.200
that nobody in Canada's parliament seems to be willing to say no to this? Now despite this making
00:07:03.500
headlines in Canada, and of course being a major news story, very few journalists inside Canada's
00:07:09.100
parliament thought to ask Canada's leaders about this concept paper. One question did however make
00:07:15.580
it through to Canada's immigration minister, Mark Miller. And the answer Mark Miller gave to this
00:07:20.800
reporter should have been on the front page of every Canadian newspaper. But of course it wasn't.
00:07:28.060
Israel's Ministry of Intelligence presented their government with a concept paper that suggested
00:07:33.160
Palestinians could be moved out of Gaza and that Canada itself could accept them as refugees.
0.99
00:07:42.680
I'm hard to speculate on it. We are open to those fleeing war. This is a war. At the same time,
0.79
00:07:50.840
it's something that it's very difficult for me to speculate publicly on. I haven't read the report,
00:07:54.840
Did you catch those first few words? We are open to those fleeing war. This is a war. You don't need
0.79
00:08:01.880
to be an English major to comprehend what that means. Canada accepts refugees from a war and this
00:08:07.960
is a war, which means Canada will likely take in Gaza refugees. Strange when you think about the fact
1.00
00:08:14.520
that neighboring Arab countries have flatly refused to accept Palestinian refugees. According to those
00:08:20.200
countries, they don't want to facilitate the removal of Palestinians off their land. That's at least what they
00:08:25.240
say publicly. In reality, Arab and Muslim countries have never really been that excited about taking
1.00
00:08:30.840
in refugees. That responsibility always ends up in the hands of Western countries. In fact, take a listen
1.00
00:08:37.400
to what the King of Jordan said two weeks ago about the possibility of accepting Palestinian refugees.
00:08:43.480
He called it a red line for not only Jordan, but for Egypt as well.
00:08:47.320
This is part of the question on the issues of refugees coming to Jordan. And I think I can
00:08:51.960
quite strongly speak on behalf not only of Jordan as a nation, but of our friends in Egypt.
00:08:58.680
That is a red line because I think that is the plan by certain of the usual suspects
00:09:03.560
to try and create de facto issues on the ground. No refugees in Jordan, no refugees in Egypt.
00:09:10.040
Here's the thing. That Israeli concept paper knows full well that Saudi Arabia and other Gulf
00:09:15.960
states won't accept Palestinian refugees. They also know that Canada will, of course,
1.00
00:09:21.240
accept refugees under Justin Trudeau. We know this because during the last refugee crisis in Syria,
00:09:27.000
the Gulf states refused to take in any refugees. And the reasoning for why Saudi Arabia, for example,
00:09:33.160
refused to take in Syrians was actually quite understandable. This is an article from 2016 published
00:09:38.840
in Le Journal International, which explains why the Gulf states didn't want to take any Syrians.
00:09:44.840
One of the reasons that countries in the Persian Gulf, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain,
00:09:49.800
Qatar and the UAE, and Oman decided to shut the door on Syrian refugees is because the concept
00:09:55.480
itself of refugees isn't actually recognized in their politics. The Gulf Arab states are some of
00:10:01.160
the very few countries that didn't sign the UN convention concerning the status of refugees in 1951.
00:10:07.640
This reluctance to welcome Syrian refugees into their countries is also due to the fear that this arrival of
00:10:13.080
Arabs politicized by the Syrian war could also cause subversive ideas being brought into the states,
0.63
00:10:20.440
as well as suffering from uprisings in less politicized countries, such as those in the
00:10:25.240
Persian Gulf. Isn't that interesting? So Persian Gulf countries didn't want to take in Syrians during a
00:10:30.520
refugee crisis because of the concern that they might bring in subversive ideas into their politics.
00:10:36.440
Maybe these Muslim countries know something about the Palestinians that us in the West just don't know.
00:10:41.560
Here's another question that comes to mind when we realize that Canada seems ready and willing to
00:10:45.960
accept tens of thousands of Palestinian refugees. How can our leaders say that they love this country
1.00
00:10:51.400
and the people in it when they are ready to take in tens of thousands of people who despise this
00:10:56.280
country and the people in it? You know, those two things just don't really mesh, do they? Are we to
00:11:00.280
believe, for example, that the people fleeing Gaza have a different point of view than those in the
00:11:05.160
streets protesting against Israel? At these pro-Palestine protests, these people are saying Justin Trudeau
00:11:10.920
has blood on his hands. They think Canada is responsible for the thousands of civilian deaths
00:11:18.360
in the Gaza Strip. Oh, what a great idea. Let's just bring in tens of thousands of those people
00:11:23.320
into our country. I'm sure they will love this country. I'm sure they'll be very grateful that
00:11:28.280
Canada took them in. You know, speaking of all this discussion about relying on mass migration to
00:11:35.480
solve our demographic problems, relying on millions of immigrants to help us build more homes and I
1.00
00:11:40.440
guess somehow solve the housing crisis, isn't it interesting that nobody ever seems to talk about
00:11:45.080
raising the domestic birthright in this country? Nobody ever seems to talk about Canada solving our
00:11:50.200
own demographic problems by having Canadians get married, build families, and have children. For some
00:11:56.600
reason, the solution only ever appears to be the importation of millions of people. There's even a
00:12:02.520
minister of families and children in this country, this person. But when have you ever heard this
00:12:07.560
person speak about raising the birthrate in this country? Meanwhile, countries like Hungary, for
00:12:12.120
example, have given us a blueprint as to how to solve this problem, how to raise our birth rates. Major
00:12:18.520
tax breaks are given to mothers who have more children. It seems the only family policy in this
0.90
00:12:24.040
country is $10 a day government-run child care, which of course isn't really working. And it isn't as though
00:12:29.320
the political opposition in Canada is speaking about raising domestic birth rates either. In fact,
00:12:34.600
nobody is talking about raising domestic birth rates. When you look at this demographic map, well,
00:12:39.480
it's kind of something you might think would be worthwhile. Maybe even a discussion just to get us
00:12:44.680
started. Instead, it seems as though everybody is on board with mass migration. All right, here we go.
00:12:50.600
Quick ratio of the week segment to wrap up the show today. The winner is Justin Trudeau. Not really like
00:12:56.440
we had much of a choice when it came to this one. Take a look at this. 4.8 thousand replies to only
00:13:03.640
3.1 thousand likes. Canadian Muslims, Arabs, and Palestinians are worried about their loved ones,
00:13:10.040
their rights, and their safety. When I met with at Amira El Gawabi yesterday, we spoke about these
00:13:15.960
fears and the work we must continue to do together to combat Islamophobia and all forms of hatred. Yep,
00:13:22.280
that's the priority here. Let's combat Islamophobia in this country. And no better person to help do
0.76
00:13:27.560
that for Justin Trudeau than, of course, the very first special representative on combating Islamophobia,
00:13:34.200
Amira El Gawabi. Who, by the way, just so happens to be a founding board member of the Canadian
00:13:39.160
Anti-Hate Network and a former CBC journalist. She should be fired. This is nothing more than a
00:13:44.280
position that normalizes Islamists as they have terrorist flags and sing genocidal slogans.
00:13:49.720
She has done nothing to call them out and the community is silent. I honestly thought this was
00:13:54.840
one of the many parody accounts. Is it really Islamophobia to point out that there are actual
00:13:59.720
hate marches taking place in Canada right now? Oh, you're not allowed to do that, Zachary.
00:14:03.800
That's too much noticing going on. We just have to pretend as though the flags of terrorist
00:14:08.200
organizations are not actually being flown and the not so subtle genocidal slogans are not being yelled
00:14:13.480
at in our streets. All right, everyone, that's going to do it for us this week on the show.
00:14:17.720
Thank you so much for tuning in. My name is Harrison Faulkner, and this is Ratioed.
