Juno News - Trudeau HUMILIATED AGAIN! Another disastrous India trip

00:00:00.000 World leaders of the 20 most advanced economies gathered in India over the weekend for the G20

00:00:11.980 summit. Of course, that meant that at some point, a confrontation between, well, let's just call

00:00:17.560 them not the best of friends, Justin Trudeau and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was bound to

00:00:22.940 occur. Now, if you've been living under a rock, you might think that India and Canada share strong

00:00:27.140 diplomatic relations. India is a democracy, the largest in the world. India is Canada's 10th

00:00:33.140 largest trading partner. And of course, Canada is home to one of the largest Indian diaspora

00:00:38.740 communities in the world. Almost 4% of Canada's population is of Indian origin. The reality,

00:00:44.920 however, is that under Justin Trudeau's leadership, relations with India have hit rock bottom. And the

00:00:50.920 breakdown in relations between Modi and Trudeau was on full display at the G20 summit this weekend.

00:00:56.700 Trudeau was snubbed again by Modi at this summit. He was scolded for his failure to contain a rising

00:01:03.080 and more aggressive Calistani secessionist movement. And of course, he got absolutely destroyed by

00:01:09.020 Indian media pundits for his brazen display of hypocrisy. At the top it all off for our Prime 1.00

00:01:15.260 Minister, Justin Trudeau is currently stuck in India as the rest of the world has gone back to work

00:01:20.800 because the jet he uses to travel the world and lecture everyone else on climate change

00:01:25.340 is unable to take off. The symbolism is just too good. Drop a like in the video,

00:01:30.560 help us out by subscribing to the True North YouTube channel. And the comment question for

00:01:33.920 the episode is this. Why does it seem as though Canada under the leadership of Justin Trudeau

00:01:39.620 is willing to sacrifice diplomatic and trade relations with India? Let me know in the comments

00:01:45.440 and let's get into it. In order to understand Justin Trudeau's latest train wreck visit to India,

00:01:50.900 it's important to provide some context as to what happened on Justin Trudeau's first train wreck

00:01:56.540 visit to India. And it's not just me calling it a train wreck visit. Even MSNBC journalists

00:02:02.180 described it as, quote, a slow motion train wreck. I wonder what could have made it such a disastrous

00:02:08.040 visit. Could it have been the fact that Narendra Modi refused to meet Trudeau on the tarmac when he

00:02:12.920 arrived in India? Could it have also been the fact that Justin Trudeau felt it was appropriate to

00:02:17.040 dress himself and his family up in traditional Indian outfits, looking more Indian than the 0.99

00:02:22.420 Indian Prime Minister and the rest of the Indian government? Or maybe it was the fact that one 0.98

00:02:26.520 of the MPs that accompanied Justin Trudeau back in 2018 on that disastrous trip to India as part of

00:02:32.060 a very large Canadian delegation, in their infinite wisdom, decided to invite a man named Jaspal

00:02:38.820 Atwal to a India state dinner reception. See, the only problem with inviting Jaspal Atwal is that

00:02:47.020 Mr. Atwal is a convicted attempted murderer of an Indian cabinet minister back in the 1980s.

00:02:54.380 And as you can imagine, that didn't go over too well with the Indian government.

00:02:58.120 So the quote shorter that Justin Trudeau received in India from Narendra Modi this past weekend

00:03:02.560 shouldn't have come as much of a surprise to anyone. In fact, two weeks ago during the lead up to the

00:03:07.160 G20 summit, Canada decided to pause negotiations with India over a free trade deal. If there was

00:03:13.680 any hope that the hostilities between Modi and Trudeau might turn around once Justin Trudeau

00:03:18.040 stepped foot in New Delhi, well those hopes were quickly quashed after Modi released a promotional

00:03:23.680 video of him greeting the world leaders and, well, he forgot to mention or show Justin Trudeau.

00:03:30.420 Furthermore, on Narendra Modi's agenda at the G20 summit, nowhere was there any mention of a

00:03:37.140 bilateral meeting between Canada and India. In fact, Narendra Modi made time for a bilateral

00:03:43.300 formal meeting with the leader of Mauritius, you know, that very important island off the coast of

00:03:49.820 Madagascar. But Canada didn't get a bilateral meeting. Now the informal sidelines meeting that

00:03:56.100 Modi had with Justin Trudeau went about as well as you could have expected it to. And according to this

00:04:02.220 Reuters article of that sidelines informal meeting between Modi and Trudeau, well, Trudeau got scolded

00:04:08.880 by Modi for refusing to deal with a growing and more aggressive Kalistani movement in our country. 0.75

00:04:15.160 And when asked by journalists at the end of the G20 summit about the Kalistan issue raised by Modi in

00:04:20.620 their meeting, Justin Trudeau took the chance to remind everyone that he supports the right to

00:04:25.720 peaceful protest and freedom of expression, of course. It will always defend freedom of expression,

00:04:32.180 freedom of conscience, freedom of peaceful protest. That's something that's extremely important to us.

00:04:37.560 Now a pundit in India is going viral on social media right now because after this press conference,

00:04:43.260 which made waves in Indian media, this pundit goes on an epic nine minute rant, just destroying

00:04:49.720 Justin Trudeau point after point with example after example, just take a listen to some of the best

00:04:55.780 parts. We've clipped some of the highlights for you here. Justin Trudeau has just shown you the finger

00:05:01.140 when it comes to Kalistan. This man has just come after imposing an emergency in his country to crack 0.99

00:05:08.840 down on the freedom of expression and the right to peaceful protest. Now the truth is, Mr. Trudeau,

00:05:14.120 like any good Punjabi, I have family in Canada and I promise you the nonsense that you're talking

00:05:22.460 is emanating from sheer hubris. You impose an emergency in your country, your father imposed an

00:05:31.300 emergency in a country, your democratic credentials are under deep question and if Kalistan is a problem

00:05:39.140 and if a Khalistan is to be created, it is more likely it is going to be created within the

00:05:44.900 territorial boundaries of Canada. This man, the last time he came for a bilateral to India showed

00:05:49.700 up with a Khalistani in his entourage. What is going on? I mean, it's totally, it's after a point, 0.99

00:05:54.900 it's totally insane. You can't say it's domestic politics. You can't say he doesn't get it. You were

00:05:58.660 beating up truckers in Canada. You were freezing their bank accounts. I mean, what is this guy talking?

00:06:04.180 Which world is he living in? I have a big question on why the map of Canada should not be described as

00:06:10.980 Canadian-occupied Quebec, which has been trying to secede from Canada for the longest period of time.

00:06:18.740 Rishabh is a perfect example of pseudo-liberal wokeism and how it is destroying a certain section 0.89

00:06:24.340 of the West. He doesn't understand the difference between a peaceful protest and a civil unrest or an

00:06:31.220 uncivil unrest with the placard of a terrorist. And stop inviting Indians to come and live in 1.00

00:06:35.700 Canada because eventually they will stop because they don't want to live in Khalistan because there 1.00

00:06:40.100 is no Khalistan in India. So good. I'll never get tired of listening to foreign pundits criticize 1.00

00:06:45.460 our prime minister. It really exposes how soft the Canadian legacy media handles Justin Trudeau

00:06:51.460 compared to the rest of the world. I love it when he says, stop inviting Indians to live in Canada. 1.00

00:06:56.660 They don't want to live in Khalistan. Or this is a perfect example of the pseudo-intellectual 1.00

00:07:01.620 wokeism destroying parts of the West. It's just spot on. After the meeting between Trudeau and Modi,

00:07:08.100 both sides released a statement. And depending on which statement you choose to read, a different

00:07:13.460 picture is painted about what was discussed at the meeting. More than half of Narendra Modi's

00:07:17.620 statement about the meeting with Justin Trudeau talks about the Calistani movement in Canada

00:07:23.140 and the Trudeau government's failure to contain the growing secessionist movement. As the statement

00:07:28.260 from Modi reads, he conveyed our strong concerns about continuing anti-India activities of extremist

00:07:34.660 elements in Canada. They are promoting secessionism and inciting violence against Indian diplomats,

00:07:40.580 damaging diplomatic premises and threatening the Indian community in Canada and their places of worship.

00:07:46.420 The nexus of such forces with organized crime, drug syndicates and human trafficking should be a concern

00:07:52.020 for Canada as well. It is essential for the two countries to cooperate in dealing with such threats.

00:07:57.060 And the Canadian statement about the meeting mentions that Justin Trudeau told Modi to stay

00:08:01.620 out of Canadian affairs and to respect national sovereignty. It should be mentioned that Canada

00:08:07.060 is not the only country to raise concerns to India about them meddling in other countries' affairs.

00:08:12.500 And Justin Trudeau is well within his right and frankly he should tell Modi to stay out of Canadian 0.97

00:08:17.780 affairs. But when it comes to India's concern about how Canada handles the Calistani movement,

00:08:23.060 well, they have a point. Because as Trudeau and Modi were having their sidelines meeting at the G20,

00:08:29.860 Calistanis in Surrey British Columbia were holding one of their sham referendums to form a breakaway 0.97

00:08:36.020 ethnostate in the Indian province of Punjab known as Calistan. Now this is just one referendum of many that

00:08:42.820 Calistanis in Canada have been holding here to form a breakaway state in India. Now why exactly they

00:08:49.860 keep holding these referendums in our country is not exactly clear. But Canada is not the only country

00:08:55.380 to deal with these Calistan referendums. They've been happening in the UK and Australia as well.

00:09:01.540 And these Calistani supporters in Canada have been raising the ire of Indian government officials and

00:09:08.340 Indian journalists and Indian journalists be upset about what's going on in our country. For months,

00:09:17.540 posters calling to kill India with the names and faces of Indian diplomats have been around the 0.87

00:09:24.020 country. And Calistanis protested the memorial of the Air India bombing, the worst terrorist attack in 0.66

00:09:30.740 Canada, by showing up at the memorial with pictures of the man responsible for the terrorist attack.

00:09:37.380 Oh, and if that wasn't enough, at a Brampton-Calistan rally, a float depicted the graphic assassination

00:09:45.860 of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi at the hands of Calistani supporters. Justin Trudeau,

00:09:53.460 however, in what can only be described as a move to put his own political future first and not the

00:09:58.420 interest of the country, has refused to condemn these Calistani displays in our country. This, of course, 1.00

00:10:04.420 only further angered the Indian government, a country which, frankly, Canada at this moment is not in a

00:10:11.300 position to throw away relations with. India is one of the largest countries in the world and one of the 1.00

00:10:16.900 fastest growing economies as well. With Canada-China relations breaking down to the state they're in

00:10:23.300 right now, if Canada wants to break away from reliance on China, a relationship with India is critical.

00:10:30.660 Why is Justin Trudeau so willing to lash out at India to attack India and refuse to try and mend

00:10:37.220 broken relations while he appears to always use kid gloves when it comes to China? That is a question

00:10:43.140 that the opposition in this country should really start to ask themselves. A reminder to you to let

00:10:48.500 me know in the comments your answer to the comment question. Why does it appear as though Canada,

00:10:52.820 under Justin Trudeau's leadership, is willing to throw away relations with India? All right,

00:10:58.020 everyone, that's going to do it for us today on the show. Thank you so much for tuning in.
