00:00:50.920 breakdown in relations between Modi and Trudeau was on full display at the G20 summit this weekend.

00:02:38.820 Atwal to a India state dinner reception. See, the only problem with inviting Jaspal Atwal is that
00:02:47.020 Mr. Atwal is a convicted attempted murderer of an Indian cabinet minister back in the 1980s.

00:03:23.680 video of him greeting the world leaders and, well, he forgot to mention or show Justin Trudeau.
00:03:30.420 Furthermore, on Narendra Modi's agenda at the G20 summit, nowhere was there any mention of a
00:03:37.140 bilateral meeting between Canada and India. In fact, Narendra Modi made time for a bilateral
00:03:43.300 formal meeting with the leader of Mauritius, you know, that very important island off the coast of
00:03:49.820 Madagascar. But Canada didn't get a bilateral meeting. Now the informal sidelines meeting that
00:03:56.100 Modi had with Justin Trudeau went about as well as you could have expected it to. And according to this
00:04:02.220 Reuters article of that sidelines informal meeting between Modi and Trudeau, well, Trudeau got scolded
00:04:08.880 by Modi for refusing to deal with a growing and more aggressive Kalistani movement in our country.
00:04:15.160 And when asked by journalists at the end of the G20 summit about the Kalistan issue raised by Modi in
00:04:20.620 their meeting, Justin Trudeau took the chance to remind everyone that he supports the right to
00:04:25.720 peaceful protest and freedom of expression, of course. It will always defend freedom of expression,
00:04:32.180 freedom of conscience, freedom of peaceful protest. That's something that's extremely important to us.

00:07:23.140 and the Trudeau government's failure to contain the growing secessionist movement. As the statement
00:07:28.260 from Modi reads, he conveyed our strong concerns about continuing anti-India activities of extremist
00:07:34.660 elements in Canada. They are promoting secessionism and inciting violence against Indian diplomats,
00:07:40.580 damaging diplomatic premises and threatening the Indian community in Canada and their places of worship.
00:07:46.420 The nexus of such forces with organized crime, drug syndicates and human trafficking should be a concern
00:07:52.020 for Canada as well. It is essential for the two countries to cooperate in dealing with such threats.
00:07:57.060 And the Canadian statement about the meeting mentions that Justin Trudeau told Modi to stay
00:08:01.620 out of Canadian affairs and to respect national sovereignty. It should be mentioned that Canada
00:08:07.060 is not the only country to raise concerns to India about them meddling in other countries' affairs.
00:08:12.500 And Justin Trudeau is well within his right and frankly he should tell Modi to stay out of Canadian
00:08:17.780 affairs. But when it comes to India's concern about how Canada handles the Calistani movement,
00:08:23.060 well, they have a point. Because as Trudeau and Modi were having their sidelines meeting at the G20,
00:08:29.860 Calistanis in Surrey British Columbia were holding one of their sham referendums to form a breakaway
00:08:36.020 ethnostate in the Indian province of Punjab known as Calistan. Now this is just one referendum of many that
00:08:42.820 Calistanis in Canada have been holding here to form a breakaway state in India. Now why exactly they
00:08:49.860 keep holding these referendums in our country is not exactly clear. But Canada is not the only country
00:08:55.380 to deal with these Calistan referendums. They've been happening in the UK and Australia as well.
00:09:01.540 And these Calistani supporters in Canada have been raising the ire of Indian government officials and
00:09:08.340 Indian journalists and Indian journalists be upset about what's going on in our country. For months,
00:09:17.540 posters calling to kill India with the names and faces of Indian diplomats have been around the
00:09:24.020 country. And Calistanis protested the memorial of the Air India bombing, the worst terrorist attack in
00:09:30.740 Canada, by showing up at the memorial with pictures of the man responsible for the terrorist attack.
00:09:37.380 Oh, and if that wasn't enough, at a Brampton-Calistan rally, a float depicted the graphic assassination
00:09:45.860 of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi at the hands of Calistani supporters. Justin Trudeau,
00:09:53.460 however, in what can only be described as a move to put his own political future first and not the
00:09:58.420 interest of the country, has refused to condemn these Calistani displays in our country. This, of course,
00:10:04.420 only further angered the Indian government, a country which, frankly, Canada at this moment is not in a
00:10:11.300 position to throw away relations with. India is one of the largest countries in the world and one of the
00:10:16.900 fastest growing economies as well. With Canada-China relations breaking down to the state they're in
00:10:23.300 right now, if Canada wants to break away from reliance on China, a relationship with India is critical.
00:10:30.660 Why is Justin Trudeau so willing to lash out at India to attack India and refuse to try and mend
00:10:37.220 broken relations while he appears to always use kid gloves when it comes to China? That is a question
