Summary

On this episode of the podcast, I sit down with a long-time supporter of the pro-Trump "Trump" convoy to discuss his thoughts on the recent anti-Trump protests on Parliament Hill. We discuss the difference between supporting the truckers and supporting the hard-working, law-abiding, peace-loving truckers who are fighting for their freedom and livelihoods, and on whom we have depended for our very existence over the last two years.

00:00:00.240 What do you make of the extreme elements trying to latch on to the Trump convoy you supported?
00:00:04.580 Well, you know what I think is interesting is that when there's a left-wing protest on Parliament Hill,
00:00:12.400 we don't see the liberal media going through every single name of the people who attends
00:00:17.860 to try and find one person that they can disparage the whole group with.
00:00:22.640 You know, we don't see, CBC, for example, has been accused by its own employees of systemic racism,
00:00:32.620 and yet we don't see the media here generalize that everyone who works at the CBC is a racist.
00:00:39.640 Whenever you have 5,000 or 10,000 people who are part of any group,
00:00:45.280 you're bound to have a number who have or say unacceptable things,
00:00:53.420 and they should be individually responsible for the things they say and do.
00:00:59.220 But that doesn't mean we disparage the thousands of hard-working, law-abiding, and peaceful truckers
00:01:08.700 who, quite frankly, have kept all of you alive the last two years
00:01:12.760 by filling your grocery shelves with the food that you eat
00:01:16.780 and filling your homes with the products that you rely upon.
00:01:20.720 So I think that it is possible to hold individually responsible
00:01:26.140 anyone who says or does anything unacceptable
00:01:29.100 while showing support for the hard-working, law-abiding, peace-loving truckers
00:01:38.700 who are fighting for their freedom and their livelihoods
00:01:42.060 and on whom we have depended for our very existence over the last two years.
