00:00:00.000 I mean, the fact that you got this place, it's a big place.
00:00:03.360 It's just one room, the equipment, the staff you have here, security, everything.
00:00:08.340 Like you have a full team.
00:00:09.920 You know, you basically built a TV studio and that really is entrepreneurship.
00:00:16.300 You know what I mean?
00:00:17.060 That's really like the people that just have one business, they just work alone.
00:00:21.660 They're a freelancer, right?
00:00:23.120 So like in 2027, freelancer will actually be like the most popular job.
00:00:29.280 Most of our workforce will be freelancer within a few years.
00:00:32.260 Really? You think so?
00:00:33.380 Yeah, that was according to a study, I think in the Wall Street Journal or something like that.
00:00:36.560 Wow.
00:00:36.960 It was a prediction.
00:00:38.260 The trend, we're already getting there.
00:00:39.780 Okay.
00:00:40.500 But like the idea of being an entrepreneur and being able to have an organization
00:00:45.380 and be able to create jobs, have labor, you know, being able to distribute capital,
00:00:51.660 make investments, manage accounting, all of this stuff, the taking the risk,
00:00:57.700 what happens if I purchase all this stuff and it doesn't work out, putting it together,
00:01:02.220 figuring it out, all of that stuff.
00:01:05.160 We're not even talking about entrepreneurship.
00:01:06.980 Right.
00:01:07.540 You'll see a lot of people that do well on TikTok.
00:01:09.400 And outside of being able to get, you know, money from brand deals or sponsorship,
00:01:15.920 they're going to struggle because, you know, they haven't, on TikTok,
00:01:21.440 they might have got hand out by the extreme far left staff there.
00:01:24.300 But once they get off that ocean, once they go into another platform,
00:01:27.840 once the tide turns on a lot of these creators and influencers,
00:01:31.140 where they lose that one stream of monetization,
00:01:33.560 you're going to see who's actually an entrepreneur and who's not, you know,
00:01:39.580 like it's easy to copy Mr. Beast.
00:01:41.980 Many people copy Mr. Beast.
00:01:43.900 Yeah.
00:01:44.260 But here's the beauty of Mr. Beast.
00:01:47.020 What Mr. Beast did, I think, the real secret was that he did something new.
00:01:52.880 Yeah, he did.
00:01:53.740 And like, I think even if everyone copied him today, that guess what happens?
00:02:00.400 It loses its value.
00:02:01.780 You lost the competitive value once everybody knows.
00:02:05.620 I think his level of mastery is so significant on YouTube, for example,
00:02:10.760 that he can have everyone copy just as an experiment for him to learn,
00:02:15.220 just to set up the next new thing he's going to do,
00:02:17.800 which is going to be nothing like what the others are going to do.
00:02:20.220 Right.
00:02:20.760 It's like that level of mastery.
00:02:22.640 Yeah.
00:02:22.920 You know what I'm saying?
00:02:23.840 And that happens in all industries.
00:02:25.800 So as soon as you feel like someone's copying you, you pivot.
00:02:29.740 Look, I did millions of dollars of business over 20 years.
00:02:32.880 You go on Money Twitter, their average experience is three years of business.
00:02:36.520 They're giving business advice like it's Bill Gates or Elon Musk or Warren Buffett
00:02:40.440 or Mark Cuban, you know?
00:02:42.100 Over 20 years of business experience doing millions of dollars of deals.
00:02:45.600 I didn't become a multimillionaire on TikTok, you know?
00:02:48.700 I was already doing millions before I got on TikTok.
00:02:50.640 And I'll tell you, in business, this is from a man with over 20 years of experience.
00:02:57.020 You're going to have good cycles and tough cycles.
00:03:00.160 Not everyone makes it through a tough cycle, you know?
00:03:05.600 And you're going to have competitors that are going to copy you.
00:03:09.140 No matter what business you go to, your competition will watch you.
00:03:14.220 For content creators, it's, okay, they can copy me X, Y, Z.
00:03:19.420 They're watching my videos.
00:03:21.680 They're watching my stories.
00:03:23.220 But no matter what business you go to, your competition will watch you.
00:03:27.640 That's just, that's, that's just business.
00:03:30.220 Right, right.
00:03:30.840 You know what I mean?
00:03:31.520 That's why I don't, I think the worst content, oh my gosh, I have a rant.
00:03:35.480 I have a rant.
00:03:36.160 The credit police.
00:03:37.700 Oh my gosh.
00:03:39.300 Everyone, like, you know what I realized?
00:03:40.760 So Kevin Samuels, I like was such a big fan of.
00:03:43.700 And I noticed there's so many people that would like say they were credited for his ideas.
00:03:49.100 Like I heard this from like five different people.
00:03:51.380 And I was like, it's so interesting in YouTube.
00:03:54.200 The people that are really like pushing forward, like the space, they're never concerned about
00:04:00.220 credit or copycats.
00:04:01.420 They're just doing their own thing.
00:04:02.660 But I realized everyone that's like, oh, they copied me.
00:04:05.240 They copied me.
00:04:05.960 One, nobody's copying you.
00:04:08.300 And two, if you're worried about credit, you're like focusing on the wrong thing.
00:04:12.200 You need to worry about like making new and innovative content.
00:04:15.680 You know, it's such a, it's such a good, it's man, that's such a good point.
00:04:18.480 Because there was like five different people.
00:04:20.580 I swear.
00:04:21.220 There was like five different people I heard say that they were the reason Kevin Samuels
00:04:25.360 had his show.
00:04:26.560 And I was just like, he's not doing the same thing any of you guys are doing.
00:04:30.280 Yeah.
00:04:31.000 I guarantee, I guarantee you, if you have anybody that watches this show that grew up with
00:04:36.600 a father, in particular from a Mediterranean country, Middle Eastern country, Latin American
00:04:44.000 country, African country.
00:04:46.980 You want more water?
00:04:47.820 Oh, yeah, yeah.
00:04:48.360 Yeah.
00:04:48.660 Here.
00:04:52.060 I was getting dehydrated.
00:04:53.320 Yeah.
00:04:53.800 It's pretty hot in here.
00:04:55.580 Yeah, I was getting dehydrated.
00:04:56.940 But sorry, go ahead.
00:04:57.600 I'm sorry.
00:04:58.020 Take care of my bladder.
00:04:58.920 They won't do that if they're from a Mediterranean country? 0.99
00:05:01.560 Yeah, I guarantee you, any man who has a father from a Mediterranean or Middle Eastern country,
00:05:09.220 right?
00:05:09.780 Like, you probably grew up like I did, where you had masculinity.
00:05:16.840 So like my father, to his credit, a lot of the stuff that's popular now on this red pill
00:05:22.980 or, you know, alpha stuff on social media.
00:05:25.340 Oh, he just taught you.
00:05:26.240 Yeah, my father has been, like, my father was, to me, since the 90s, I was learning this
00:05:32.000 stuff, especially as a Middle Eastern Mediterranean man.
00:05:34.700 This stuff was just normal.
00:05:37.200 Right.
00:05:37.700 So like, if someone says to me, I copied someone, I'm like, bro, I'm like, I'm older than almost
00:05:42.280 all of you.
00:05:43.180 And my father in his 70s is the one, if I'm going to give anyone credit, it's my father
00:05:48.160 and his friends, because this is just a cultural norm in that region of the world.
00:05:52.300 Right.
00:05:52.760 You talk to any guy from Spain, Italy, Lebanon, Egypt, Israel, Iran, you know, like you go
00:06:00.980 to Greece, you go to Turkey, you know, you know, in these countries, these men, there's
00:06:06.800 not Albania, you know, you go to these countries, these men have fathers that this is just a 0.99
00:06:13.060 cultural norm.
00:06:14.080 Right.
00:06:14.360 This is nothing like surprising.
00:06:16.100 So what's your advice to guys that want to succeed in business and like make it through
00:06:22.020 those rough patches, especially now, because there's so many people wanting to do content
00:06:26.320 creation or like freelance drop shipping, whatever it is.
00:06:30.280 Yeah, I would, I would say, like, the number one thing I'd say is try out a bunch of things
00:06:35.920 that will work for you and you like, rather than just trying to do something you don't
00:06:43.140 like, and you're doing it.
00:06:45.140 My dad told me the same thing.
00:06:46.240 Really?
00:06:46.380 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:06:47.320 Yeah.
00:06:47.880 That's crazy.
00:06:48.760 Some people, one person tagged me on one of my videos today and said, and they tagged
00:06:54.800 someone and they were like, hey, Shelly, he looks like your dad, you know?
00:07:01.900 And I was just like, wow, I look like some girl's dad who's watching the video.
00:07:06.980 No way.
00:07:07.880 Yeah.
00:07:08.140 You know what I mean?
00:07:08.740 Yeah, yeah.
00:07:09.340 So just when you say that, you know, so, so, you know, it really is something to be said
00:07:14.680 about trying out what works for you and that you actually like rather than trying to do
00:07:20.160 what you think will make you a lot of money and you hate.
00:07:22.960 If you can, if you can get two checks on that check box, you like it and you're good at
00:07:27.600 it.
00:07:27.940 You significantly have a benefit.
00:07:30.440 That is so funny.
00:07:31.360 That is literally exactly what my dad told me like three years ago because I quit.
00:07:35.580 I was, I was working in copier sales and I quit it to do, I was like, I had one viral
00:07:40.940 tick tock and it was, it was actually just me telling a story about my family.
00:07:44.620 Like it was actually nothing to do with any, cause I had a whole following.
00:07:48.000 I built off of like, no red pill, like that's why people are like, oh, you're just like
00:07:52.920 grifting, pandering.
00:07:53.760 I'm like, you know how much more money I would have made doing it to women? 1.00
00:07:56.480 Oh my God.
00:07:57.480 Like we were talking about earlier, but, but so, um, yeah, my dad always said like, I
00:08:03.140 don't care if you make sandwiches or sell toothpicks on the side of the road, like do something
00:08:07.240 you love and do it well, because there aren't that many people that really try and are smart
00:08:12.360 at the same time.
00:08:13.400 So he would always say like, if you do something you love, you're going to put in so many more
00:08:17.420 hours than anybody else.
00:08:19.540 And it was so true because a lot of people will kind of, I guess, criticize me because
00:08:24.280 they'll be like, oh, you work so much, but it's like, it doesn't feel like work a lot
00:08:27.260 of the time because I genuinely love doing it.
00:08:29.680 Like, it's just, it's like, I'd rather, I would rather do a podcast than go to a party.
00:08:33.840 Like, it's just more fun to me.
00:08:35.400 Yeah.
00:08:36.100 Even the whole, um, the whole, I'm sorry.
00:08:38.680 The whole premise of my show was started because, um, like my show is called the pregame
00:08:43.360 and it was the whole idea was I always liked pregames better than parties because you would
00:08:48.540 have like such a deep conversations with people and they're like at a party, it's loud.
00:08:53.460 Everyone's taught.
00:08:54.200 Like I just didn't like parties.
00:08:56.380 So the whole premise was the pregame is better than the party and I was playing sports here.
00:09:00.380 So it was kind of like a double on, you know, um, but it's funny.
00:09:04.280 My dad really said the same thing to me.
00:09:06.340 Um, and he thought it was nuts when I was like, yeah, dad, I'm going to be a TikToker. 0.58
00:09:09.440 But he's like, if you like it, try it, do it while you're young, that's great.
00:09:14.400 You know, uh, it's interesting too, how your dad said your, your dad said to you, if you
00:09:19.780 sell toothpicks or toothbrushes, whatever, make sure you love it. 0.56
00:09:23.940 I call this, uh, the Kimberly example, Kimberly makes, it's disgusting.
00:09:31.720 But when you go to the bathroom at like an airport, you see the toilet paper and then
00:09:36.580 you see the dispensary dispensary says, Kimberly, that's a company.
00:09:40.820 Okay.
00:09:41.400 The owner of that company makes a lot of money.
00:09:44.380 Right.
00:09:44.960 But what it, but is that person passionate about selling toilet dispensary?
00:09:51.560 Probably not.
00:09:52.480 Yeah.
00:09:52.940 Right.
00:09:53.440 But he finds honor in his work.
00:09:55.960 He may have other motivation to his work and I guarantee you he's taking care of his
00:09:59.600 family.
00:10:00.080 Okay.
00:10:00.460 This is the other thing.
00:10:02.200 No, this is the other thing.
00:10:03.580 I mean, King, we're just talking about this the other day, how men will do jobs because
00:10:07.660 they feel like no one else will do them or women will not. 0.91
00:10:12.800 So like it, like if I don't do the sewers or the elect, the power lines, like all that
00:10:18.580 stuff, is that like the A1 job where you get the most recognition and honor in society?
00:10:23.760 No, but it's like a lot of guys realize that no one else will do the job if they don't.
