STD Friday! Oh my god! Where we go over the STDs that are out there right now. I know
00:00:07.680
it's an uncomfortable part of dating, but we do have to talk about how to avoid STDs
00:00:12.520
and what STDs are out there because this is a part of dating today. If you think that
00:00:16.840
you are too good to get an STD, it can really happen to anyone. Half of the people I interview
00:00:22.300
are married. But before we get to today's topic, I thought we'd kind of start with a
00:00:26.720
little fun segment. So one of the guys that works with with us here, his name's
00:00:34.520
Aaron, and he's had some dating issues that he wanted to talk about with me and
00:00:40.280
Doug MPA. So we're gonna bring him on the line and maybe as a class we can go
00:00:45.220
through his problems. I don't know why my if I look here today, guys, the my
00:00:53.360
mouse like won't charge for some reason. So I'm having to put the chat on my
00:00:57.440
phone. So bear with me. Okay, but hi, Aaron. Welcome to the show.
00:01:04.280
Uh, what's kicking chicken? How's it gone? Good. So tell me about your problems. Tell
00:01:10.820
me what you're telling me before before the show. You want to stalk somebody or no
00:01:15.260
no no no. I didn't say that. I was listing out a hypothetical. Let's just say
00:01:19.740
hypothetically, you suspect that someone you know, is dating somebody and you know,
00:01:25.740
you want to find out like if it's true or if like there's something going on, if
00:01:29.400
they're hiding something, would it be crazy if you knew that person was going to
00:01:33.540
be at a certain bar restaurant or something to like go in disguise to that
00:01:38.680
place to find out what they're up to? Cause like maybe they're not actually
00:01:41.240
dating somebody. Maybe you're just paranoid and you go there and you just see
00:01:44.580
them alone and then your conscience is clear. But like, what if you, I don't know, see
00:01:49.440
them with like a woman or a man or something, if you're in disguise and you
00:01:54.120
don't just confront them up front, you can like hear like their conversation.
00:01:57.720
Like if they're talking about like, you know, doing it or something, then, you
00:02:01.440
know, yeah, they're dating someone or something. Or, you know, if they're talking
00:02:04.020
about like their grandparents, it's probably just family or friends and you
00:02:06.660
know, you're just in your head or something. Who is this person?
00:02:10.440
I won't say, I won't say it's okay. Okay. I'm gonna ask the easy question.
00:02:18.480
No, no. Uh, well, there is no one person I'm talking about. It's just like a
00:02:22.000
hypothetical, just like for anyone. Like, let's say you suspect your friend has a
00:02:25.400
girlfriend and he's not telling you, or if like there was a girl you just
00:02:28.260
recently broke up with or something and you suspect she might've been cheating on
00:02:31.700
you. And so, you know, you think there, or if you suspect, like maybe, I don't know,
00:02:34.800
maybe your dad is like having an affair or something. Okay. My first question is,
00:02:42.320
I am a graphic designer by trade and I'm also a ventriloquist.
00:02:45.820
Okay. So what would be like, what do you think that you have something better to
00:02:52.280
Well, I mean, it's not really stalking if you're just trying to get down to the
00:02:54.820
truth, you know, like what if I, what if my buddy, I won't say his name, but like,
00:02:58.440
what if my buddy who does not get a lot of women, cause he's a bigger guy, you know,
00:03:01.820
and stuff. What if I suspect that like he's dating someone and he's not telling
00:03:05.680
me about it and I want to know about it. And I like go down to like this bar and
00:03:13.000
Well, why do you need to know if he's dating someone?
00:03:16.680
Like get down to it or something. Why? You know? Well, because like then whatever
00:03:22.180
excuses he's giving me, like these ridiculous other reasons why he has to leave
00:03:25.420
work earlier, why he has to go to his apartment. Suddenly they all fall through and
00:03:30.280
But here's the thing. What, cause here's the thing. If you were approachable for him
00:03:35.900
to tell you about it, he'd tell you. And second off, if it's affecting, if it's
00:03:40.680
affecting his work performance, you don't need to know what he's doing for, for you
00:03:45.080
to, to confront him on him leaving work early or, or him not be a good friend
00:03:49.640
anymore. You can address that without knowing why he's doing it. You can say, Hey man,
00:03:53.360
what the heck is going, you need to confront him directly about that. Whether you find
00:03:57.080
out he's dating someone or not. Would you, would you finding out he's dating someone
00:04:02.700
excuse his behavior? No. Well, but it would also, well, it doesn't
00:04:07.320
also have to be that, you know, like his work is, you know, slacking off. Maybe he's just
00:04:10.360
like acting odd and I need to know like why he's acting odd or something. And by the way,
00:04:13.700
the first part is not true. Like it doesn't make me any less approachable. Like you can
00:04:17.260
probably tell by the way I'm speaking that I'm autistic and autistic people are approachable.
00:04:20.480
So first of all, that's the first thing, um, you know, that's, I mean, I know that's like
00:04:25.520
a little ridiculous to say, like, I know how I sound, but like, still, like, I just want,
00:04:29.200
I just want to throw that out there for further context or something. Right.
00:04:31.800
I recommend getting like three hoes. Yeah. Because I just think you need somewhere else
00:04:39.340
to put your mind, you know, like if you had three women bothering you, you wouldn't really
00:04:44.460
be too worried about if he was dating someone. Right.
00:04:46.980
Well, and believe me, I would love to have three hoes, you know, you don't need to tell
00:04:51.320
me that or something. I mean, you know, I being, you know, 20 and living on my own, I'm doing
00:04:55.660
my best here. Um, even though I just recently got, even though I just recently got my own
00:04:59.600
apartment, but I was close to being able to secure two more recently until I got dumped
00:05:04.340
last night. Oh yeah. Um, I was close. Okay. Okay. So tell us, I'm taking your, tell us about
00:05:10.240
the dumping. How'd it go? What happened? So, so I had met this girl on Snapchat, right?
00:05:16.960
Um, how do you call it on Snapchat? Just like, you like, just, you just like start like quick
00:05:22.560
adding people. You go to the quick ad tab, quick ad, quick ad, just like randomly add
00:05:25.720
people. Snapchat is like within all your quick ads are within like location proximity of
00:05:30.780
people that are like close to you around there. So you're automatically being matched with like
00:05:34.560
women that are close or something. Then once you ask the basic questions, like, Hey, where
00:05:38.040
are you from? How old are you? Stuff like that. You know, what do you look like? That's
00:05:41.260
when, you know, you start to reel them in a little bit. And that's, and that's what I did
00:05:45.280
with this girl. You know, I added her randomly. Hey, how old are you? Where are you from? What
00:05:49.080
do you look like? Once I realized, you know, she was my age or she was 21. She was one year
00:05:52.980
older, close to me and also looked pretty hot. I asked her like, Hey, do you want to get
00:05:57.020
together? Um, and we did a couple of days later. Um, and then we went back to my apartment.
00:06:03.460
Um, and you know, okay. Read the Bible, read the Bible. Um, good job. But, um, then she
00:06:13.800
had to go to Florida for a week and, you know, we talked for a while. I was trying to keep
00:06:17.820
it on the down low that I was dating this girl because I have like former roommates who
00:06:22.200
I also like work with and stuff who I didn't really want knowing about it. But I told this
00:06:27.280
girl that works downstairs to where we work about it and she spilled to them. So it's kind
00:06:32.040
of out in the open now or something. And I kind of just had to bite the bullet and realize
00:06:35.620
like, okay, I need to be like a little more private about my stuff if I don't want stuff
00:06:39.560
getting around to them. So finally, um, she comes back from Florida about a week later.
00:06:45.120
She shows up at my place. We like order a pizza and we're talking. Um, obviously since she was
00:06:50.280
coming to my place, I was under the assumption that something else was going to happen. But then
00:06:54.980
she, uh, basically starts asking me like, what is this? Like, what are we doing? And I'm
00:07:00.140
like, and you'd known her a week at that point, a week and a couple of days, maybe 10 days.
00:07:06.340
Okay. So now she, it's the, what are we conversation? Basically. I'm like, what do you mean? She's
00:07:12.060
like, you know, we're too old to be playing these games. You know, I can't keep doing this without
00:07:17.540
like a commitment or something. And I'm telling her like, Hey, first of all, take a chill pill.
00:07:23.080
Like we've seen each other one other time or something. How about we just sit back, you know,
00:07:27.280
enjoy our evening or something. And she just keeps standing on her ground. Like, no, I need
00:07:32.500
a commitment. And just basically as she's saying like, okay, well, that's going to be the case.
00:07:36.160
Have a good night. She's grabbing her stuff, walk out. Um, I did try and make one last move
00:07:41.320
basically because as she's like walking out, I told her like, Hey, well, real quick, you know, if
00:07:46.620
where'd he go, Oh, you there. Hello. Oh, I don't hear him. Are you still there? I'm here. Can
00:08:04.040
you hear me? Okay. I'm letting him back in. What do you think of a girl asking for commitment
00:08:11.220
after 10 days? Yeah, no. Sorry, my internet. So, I mean, was this girl the same age as you,
00:08:20.600
like 19, 20? He says he was, she was 21. Wait, okay. So finish the, finish the story. So what
00:08:29.180
happened when she was, she said she was walking out and then what happened?
00:08:33.140
And now he's on mute. I asked her like, yeah, yeah. I'm sorry about this. Basically. Um,
00:08:45.360
as like, she's on her way out. I asked her, I was like, well, Hey, if us are going to be a thing of
00:08:49.240
the past, how about just for old time sake? Then I started pointing at my bedroom and then she just
00:08:54.400
turned around and walked out. Um, and that was the last I saw for basically. And then she unadded me
00:08:59.900
on snap and stuff. So that's, uh, that's where I'm at. What do you think, Doug MPA?
00:09:09.200
Um, one of the journeys of a man is taking L's and moving forward. Cause that's one of the biggest
00:09:16.360
differences between men and women. Like you, you gotta learn how to, uh, how to take L's. And here's
00:09:22.100
the thing. If a woman breaks up with the, okay. If a woman tells you something, believe it the first
00:09:26.120
time, move on. She kind of, she kind of took the L though. Cause he like hit and then didn't want to
00:09:34.980
commit. Well, yeah, but, um, you know, just move on. If you're still, you're not still occupied with
00:09:42.720
this girl. Are you like, are you glad she's gone or what? I mean, it was good. Like this time that
00:09:48.640
we spent together. So I can't really say that, you know, I'm thrilled that like nothing will
00:09:54.220
happen. Any chance of anything will happen again or something. But you know, if, uh, she's going to
00:10:01.020
walk out that easy, um, over like a stupid, like, Oh, we're too old for these games. Then I can
00:10:06.300
understand how maybe I like matrix level dodged a bullet or something. But, you know, at the same
00:10:12.400
time, you know, like, you know, with me finally, like having my own apartment and stuff, I do want to
00:10:17.660
get to the point where like, I can regularly like bring a lot of these women over and like, not
00:10:21.900
have to worry about, you know, competing with some of the people I work with and stuff who are bringing
00:10:26.440
in women left and right or something, you know, like I got like these older coworkers who are like
00:10:31.160
in their thirties or something. And they're have like a new woman over every night. And meanwhile,
00:10:34.680
I'm just stuck to like the Snapchat screen or something, you know? So like,
00:10:38.880
here's the thing though, uh, when you're 20, you really don't bring up a lot of value to the table.
00:10:45.280
Cause you know, look, when you're a man, you turn 18, it's a scary feeling. Cause you're not worth
00:10:51.860
anything. You, you, you should, you have to build your value. 30 year old guys, especially 30 year old
00:10:58.840
guys who are established and have money and have 10 years on you that they're going to get more women
00:11:03.100
than you. And there's nothing you can do about it. Cause they have 10 years on you. So, so you,
00:11:09.220
you have to accept that. Well, but at the same time, and I understand, I understand what you're
00:11:16.300
saying, but at the same time, I'm not going to reveal too much about my personal life, but it's
00:11:19.900
like, look, yeah, these guys are older. You know, I'm a business owner, man. You know, like I've got,
00:11:24.060
I've met some and worked with some pretty powerful people that these people that these guys like
00:11:27.780
haven't been around. Like, I don't understand why that's not being viewed as like, you know,
00:11:31.780
me being the Jordan Belford. And then all my 30 year old coworkers are like my Jonah Hill and
00:11:36.220
whatever the fuck his name is, you know, stuff like that. So like, I just, I said, I said,
00:11:43.600
I said he should have made her work for it and given her like, Oh, I'll, I'll maybe commit after X,
00:11:49.520
Y, and Z. And then, you know, then you could still not in three months.
00:11:54.920
Yeah. Cause here's the thing. We had a show about situationships. Women, here's the thing you,
00:12:02.400
you, if a woman says, what are we? And she wants a commitment. There's, there's a way to keep her
00:12:08.700
around without saying there's no commitment. We don't really say yes. You don't really say no.
00:12:14.000
This was a situation where you should have been able to do that. And here's the thing, like
00:12:17.740
women always want an explanation and always want a why. Just don't give them one.
00:12:25.320
Okay. If you don't give them a story that can't find holes in it. If you don't give them just next
00:12:33.680
time this happens and a woman asks you for, for, for commitment, you say, look, I'm giving you all
00:12:37.960
I can right now. But you know, see us guys, we, especially when you're young, you care about a
00:12:50.200
woman's emotional wellbeing to a fault. You need to stop doing that. And here's the thing. If you're,
00:12:57.260
if you're a good, a quote unquote, good guy, you hate lying to women. You, you hate to be a scumbag.
00:13:03.940
It's against your nature. So just shut up, dude. Don't say anything. If it makes you feel bad to say,
00:13:10.780
to lie to women and say horrible things to women, you'll get there when you get older.
00:13:15.740
But, but right now stop talking, dude. I mean, like I've seen, like, I've seen like your show,
00:13:21.860
like I've, I've listened to like the Collins where like you guys, you and a few other guys have said
00:13:25.620
before, like, you know, trust me, dude, when you turn 30, like it's raining vaginas and stuff like
00:13:29.420
that. Like, that's what happens. That's like what happens when you turn like 35 or something, but
00:13:34.560
it's like, I want to be able to work with what I have, you know, now that I have my own place and,
00:13:38.440
you know, my own little bit of clout, like, Hey, look at me, I'm a big shot or something like that.
00:13:42.160
I just want to be able to work with something that I have. So, you know, do you think I'm
00:13:46.080
making a mistake? Just like sticking to like the Snapchat strategy? Should I like try to
00:13:49.860
move up a little bit or something? So here's the thing. You have an established strategy.
00:13:56.560
You get steady in that where you have a steady amount of women coming in there,
00:14:01.140
get yourself a nicer rotation where you're never really alone. It's like the best time to apply
00:14:08.300
for a job is when you already have a job. The best time to try to upgrade your game is when you
00:14:13.920
already have women coming in. So don't knock your strategy. But I like the fact that you feel the
00:14:21.060
need to upgrade and you have the means to be able to do it. But look, but you haven't, there are a lot
00:14:26.060
of guys, especially when they're 20, have no strategy at all, man. Like none. A lot of guys out there
00:14:31.540
aren't getting any, you're trashing your, your Snapchat strategy. Are you crazy?
00:14:38.020
Well, my, my coworker told me today after like all this, that I should like delete Snapchat and
00:14:44.060
like actually go to like a serious dating app or something. Cause I like the bots and the scammers
00:14:47.560
that are on snap. And it's like, yeah, that's true. But there's also just as much of that on like
00:14:51.280
dating apps or something. You know what I mean? Why not both? Do you have good pictures? Like,
00:14:56.400
did you get a photographer? Uh, some of them are professionally done. Yeah. That's good. Okay.
00:15:02.520
Um, yeah. Um, give yourself credit for even, it sounds like you have more access than the average
00:15:08.940
20 year old man. So give me some credit for that. A lot of guys are out here starving, especially at 20
00:15:14.820
starving. So give yourself credit, dude. You know? Well, I won't lie. A lot of, a lot of the women
00:15:23.340
that I've brought around really aren't something to like brag about. Like I have a couple of,
00:15:27.240
Hey, you gotta, you gotta start somewhere. Yeah. We've all smashed whales. We've all smashed
00:15:34.920
threes and fours, man. That's what we call practice for your wife.
00:15:44.260
Yeah. So what is your strategy for, for upgrading?
00:15:48.480
It's another reason I'm calling in, like trying to figure that out basically. Um, you know,
00:15:55.360
it's like, cause like, I'll go out with like some of the guys I work with, you know, are older and
00:15:59.280
are bringing in like new women left and right or something or like, uh, they, I have no clue.
00:16:06.580
They do the same thing that I do. And somehow they're landing, you know, the women that work
00:16:10.580
downstairs or something like that. And it's like, what I was, I'm doing the same thing. Like,
00:16:15.440
am I just ugly? Like what's happening? Well, you're also 20, man. I can't tell you how much
00:16:20.860
age, cause the most desirable ages for a man to women is like, what? Isn't it like 40 to 45 Pearl?
00:16:30.640
Um, in my opinion, it depends what age the women are, but I think it's like 35.
00:16:37.680
Yeah. Something like that. Yeah. But I think a 50 year old will get more matches though,
00:16:41.520
because there's like the leftover women too. Like I'm guessing if it's in numbers,
00:16:45.680
but yeah, you're gonna, I always say the nineties were the best decade, but I didn't get to enjoy
00:16:54.800
the nineties cause I wanted to grow up so bad. Like you're 20 years old, man. Enjoy the fact that you're
00:17:03.040
20, you're building yourself into something like do don't rush to try to like jump ahead. I understand
00:17:12.640
what I'm saying. It's got, if you, what's your, what you want is a time-based problem. If you stay
00:17:18.720
consistent, you don't get married. You don't have any kids. You don't get one of these STDs that'll
00:17:24.000
permanently be there. It will come. Stop trying to rush it, man. Put that effort into your business and
00:17:30.320
stuff. But when it comes to women, don't, don't try to rush it, man. Just don't.
00:17:34.960
I understand what you're saying. And I agree obviously, but you know, just the position that
00:17:40.480
I'm in and maybe I'm just saying this wrong, or maybe there's something else I could be doing here
00:17:44.320
that, you know, you could lay me out, but it's like, I guess the easiest way to put it is like,
00:17:48.320
you know, all my friends, you know, spent their new years, you know, getting laid or, you know,
00:17:52.560
hanging out with all these women, like in the casino and stuff. I spent my, um,
00:17:57.200
new years getting yelled at by a 30 year old man because I didn't want to do something for work.
00:18:01.520
You know what I mean? Like, you know, and I know that's the position that I've chosen,
00:18:04.880
you know, for me as like a business owner and stuff like that. But it's like at the same time,
00:18:09.520
you know, if there's a chance that when I turn 40 or 45, I can't get anything just because,
00:18:13.920
you know, I don't know, maybe I turned out to be a messed up 45 or 40 year old.
00:18:18.320
I don't want to miss like the best open window that I had.
00:18:20.960
You know what I mean right now? Are you going to, um, have you been on like dating apps? Have
00:18:26.320
those been doing well or no? Uh, yeah, they do pretty well. I've noticed something I'll say at
00:18:31.920
least for me is that dating app women are more likely to ghost you than Snapchat women. Cause like
00:18:36.480
every girl I've hooked up with every girl I've ever been like on a date or something,
00:18:39.440
I basically met through Snapchat to like my little quick ad strategy. Um, a lot of these dating app
00:18:44.400
women, like from hinge or Tinder, it's like, they'll like respond to me. But as soon as I get down,
00:18:49.200
like, Hey, let's get together. That's when like the texts stop coming. Basically. I don't know what
00:18:53.680
it is, but like for some reason, Snapchat, you're, you're competing with all of like the events and
00:18:59.920
stuff and a million. It's not even just like, you know, um, do you like, what are the messages
00:19:06.400
usually? Like, do you guys talk a lot or is it just, uh, because I've heard a lot of the PUA guys say
00:19:12.720
that you shouldn't talk much except for logistics because women will just waste your time for years,
00:19:18.400
days? Well, I mean, like, you know, I've, you know, I'm, I'm a couple line collector. So,
00:19:26.160
you know, sometimes that's what I'll use on like a dating app or something. Whereas on Snapchat,
00:19:30.880
you know, I can be a little more up for a collector, a pickup line collector. Okay.
00:19:36.640
So, you know, cause I know that's what people like expect on dating apps. Like I know that's like
00:19:40.320
status quo on dating apps or something where I was on Snapchat, it's just like, Hey, I added you,
00:19:43.760
Hey, you're cute. Like let's get together or something. You know what I mean?
00:19:50.240
Well, thanks for share. I thought I liked your last line to her. Would you have taken that girl
00:19:55.360
seriously or no? Like down the line, if she didn't do that? Well, first of all, it would depend how she
00:20:01.200
responded to some of my other lines. Um, but maybe, I don't know. Uh, cause like I gave her,
00:20:10.320
um, I, you know, I told her like this other line when we first met, um, like on the first date and
00:20:14.640
she liked it. So that told me that she at least, you know, had like the same kind of mindset that
00:20:18.960
I was in of like, Hey, this is how this is going to go. So, and somewhere down the line, she like
00:20:22.800
changed her mind on the second date or something. Um, so I don't know. We didn't get that far.
00:20:28.560
Okay. Okay. Well, cool. Thanks for calling in. They, I appreciate it.
00:20:33.760
Well, can we, uh, you think we can do this again in like a, you think we can do this again in like a week?
00:20:37.680
Yeah. I'll get it. I'll get it. I'll get a dating coach on the line. Go ahead.
00:20:41.360
Yeah. I just want to go back to the thing where your beginning issue, like you,
00:20:49.120
this whole needing to know people's business thing, man, like, especially when it comes to,
00:20:53.680
to your friend, dude, who cares, man? Honestly, like if he's being flaky, you're gonna, as you get
00:21:01.120
older, your guys are going to get girlfriends and just disappear, man. You're not going to see it for a
00:21:06.400
year, maybe two. And then when they break up, all of a sudden they're going to want to get on the
00:21:11.120
Xbox again, man. It's how it is with, with some guys, like some guys, they get pussy whipped and
00:21:18.240
then all of a sudden, you know, yo bro, I can't come out, man. My girl doesn't want me to, they're
00:21:23.040
going to disappear. So just let them, let them disappear. Well, but I also don't want to do about
00:21:28.720
it. Well, but I also don't like, you know, cause like my work, the people that I work with
00:21:32.640
whilst having to be my roommates, you know, they definitely don't see it that way. Like they
00:21:36.400
found out by just completely just interrogating this girl who I told that I was even seeing someone
00:21:41.920
in the first place. So since they don't see it that way, you know, I kind of have to like adapt
00:21:45.840
to that a little bit and like camouflage, like, okay. So if all of our business is going to be out
00:21:50.320
there, let's just, let's cooperate with that and let's, you know, get to the middle of like what's
00:21:54.640
happening with everyone or something. Cause I don't want to be the odd man out. Okay. So you want to
00:21:58.480
stalk them back? It's like a retaliation. Well, not that I just want to know the truth
00:22:03.920
on two. Like, you know, I understand like their whole mentality that says like, we need to know,
00:22:08.640
cause like we care about Aaron since he's the youngest and we're like 10 years older than him.
00:22:11.680
I get that. But at the same time, you know, if, if the truth is going to be like, so important to
00:22:18.080
like everyone, I don't want it to like, not be important to me. Yeah. The best thing you can do is
00:22:23.520
apathy, dude. Just don't, I I've had to learn a lesson in apathy, man. Like I've, I've, I've had
00:22:29.760
people come in out of my life. This whole true thing, man. Just do, just don't let it, you have
00:22:35.040
a business to run. Like just this is, you only have a hundred percent of time and effort to give
00:22:41.280
at any given time. And this has taken up too much of that a hundred percent, man. You have a business to
00:22:47.600
run. You got to build yourself up in this world, man. What other people are doing, man. Just,
00:22:52.640
just apathy is your best friend in this situation. Cool. Well, thanks for calling in,
00:23:00.400
calling anytime. Okay. Uh, Pearl, I, uh, have your contact. I promise when I have an update,
00:23:06.640
maybe like a week or two, we will, uh, do this again. I really want to do this again because
00:23:10.560
I'm either going to be better off in a week or worse off in a week. All right. No, no stalking.
00:23:14.640
Okay. Yeah. All right. Now we're going to talk about some STDs. Make sure you avoid them. All
00:23:21.920
right. Wrap it up. All right, buddy. All right, guys. So welcome to another episode of Pearl daily.
00:23:31.280
Um, so the dating market is a dumpster fire and men are just fed up. If a man wants to date,
00:23:36.480
he has to worry about women. Not only women's bad attitudes are unreasonable expectations,
00:23:41.280
toxic friends, and the risk of being blasted all over the internet on the T app, or one of those,
00:23:45.680
are we dating the same guy? Facebook groups, but worst of all, they have to worry about STDs. I've
00:23:51.120
been covering various STDs the last few Fridays because one, because the conversation needs to be
00:23:57.760
had. We are going to continue that trend by covering syphilis and hepatitis. Syphilis is an STD that is
00:24:04.720
caused by a bacterial infection contracted through sexual contact. It can be cured by a single shot of
00:24:10.480
penicillin. There were 200,700 reported cases of syphilis in 2022. That is the highest since the
00:24:17.600
1950s. The primary stage of syphilis is a painless sore that appears at the site of infection, typically
00:24:24.720
within 10 to 90 days after exposure. The secondary stage, which is a rash, a fever, swollen lymphnoids,
00:24:32.160
sore throat, and other flu-like symptoms that develop six to 12 weeks after the infection.
00:24:37.360
The latent stage, the infection becomes dormant and may not cause symptoms for years. And the
00:24:43.280
territory stage, which is untreated syphilis that causes blindness, heart damage, brain damage,
00:24:51.440
blindness, and sometimes death. All right. So now we're going to have this STI awareness. Now we're
00:24:57.680
going to have this nice, this also nice white lady talking to us about STDs.
00:25:02.400
This week and every day this week, I'm making a video on a different STI. Today's topic is syphilis.
00:25:09.040
Now syphilis cases are up 80% across the U.S. since 2015, and congenital syphilis, so babies being born
00:25:18.080
with syphilis, is up 300% over the past five years. So syphilis is quickly becoming a serious public health
00:25:25.760
concern for us here in the U.S. Let's talk about it. Syphilis is this spiral shaped bacteria under a
00:25:31.920
microscope. And in medicine, we call it the great pretender because it can present in a host of
00:25:38.240
different ways and sometimes be tricky to diagnose. Syphilis is spread through direct contact with a
00:25:44.000
syphilitic ulcer or a syphilitic sore. So syphilis in its primary stage causes an ulcer or a sore. Now
00:25:51.280
that sore is typically painless and a lot of times it's located internally. So it can be, you know,
00:25:57.040
in the mouth, in the vagina, or in the rectum. And therefore people are unaware that they have this sore
00:26:02.800
and a lot of times sexual partners will not ever see the sore, notice the sore, or have any indication
00:26:08.480
that that person may have syphilis. I have even seen a syphilitic ulcer on someone's arm before. So
00:26:14.560
any direct contact with a syphilitic sore can transmit the infection. Regarding symptoms of
00:26:23.600
syphilis, again, there can be many, but we classically think about syphilis in four stages.
00:26:28.960
So primary syphilis, the first stage is the appearance of the sore or the syphilitic ulcer.
00:26:34.400
And remember this sore may be located internally somewhere where you can't see it and it classically
00:26:39.680
does not hurt. It's a painless ulcer. And so even if you do notice something on the body,
00:26:45.200
a lot of people will, you know, notice something, but it doesn't hurt and it goes away on its own
00:26:49.680
without treatment. And so people really don't think anything of it. The next stage of syphilis,
00:26:54.960
secondary syphilis is classically associated with a rash. And that rash is typically a full body rash,
00:27:01.680
including the palms of the hands. And it might be a little bit itchy, but nothing too crazy.
00:27:07.440
This stage can also be associated with flu-like symptoms, lymph node swelling and all sorts of
00:27:13.200
things, you know, patchy hair loss, headaches, sore throat, fatigue. But again, this stage will
00:27:19.360
also clear on its own. The rash will go away. The symptoms will go away without treatment,
00:27:24.560
but that patient still has syphilis. So untreated secondary syphilis then leads to latent phase of
00:27:30.320
syphilis, which is where you still have syphilis because you've not been treated, but there's
00:27:35.280
absolutely no signs or symptoms at all. And this phase can actually persist for years. So people
00:27:41.760
can have syphilis for years and years without ever knowing it. Latent syphilis can eventually,
00:27:47.040
over years and years, progress to tertiary syphilis. And this is a very serious condition in which...
00:27:52.480
I would just say get tested every three months. I know it's a bitch because it's expensive. It's
00:27:58.880
probably going to cost you. I was looking at Quest prices the other day and I'm like,
00:28:03.360
it's probably going to cost you like a grand a year. But if you're sexually active, yeah.
00:28:08.320
The bacteria has now started to affect the organs. It can affect the eyes, the brain,
00:28:13.520
the ears, the heart, the muscles, basically all of our organs. And you can experience symptoms like
00:28:20.800
vision loss, hearing loss, ears ringing, confusion. Sometimes it's confused with dementia,
00:28:27.120
muscle weakness, damage to the heart, and eventually, in some cases, death. Syphilis,
00:28:32.800
if caught at really any stage, can be treatable, 100% fully curable with antibiotics. And the drug of
00:28:40.880
choice for syphilis is penicillin. If the syphilis is caught in the primary, secondary, or latent phase,
00:28:47.280
you often just need one shot, one to three, depending on the circumstances of penicillin.
00:28:52.640
And in the tertiary phase, it's recommended to have IV penicillin over several days. The damage
00:28:58.320
that has occurred to the organs in tertiary syphilis may not be reversible, but in my personal
00:29:03.760
experience, I've seen people make 100% recoveries once the syphilis was treated. The thing to note
00:29:09.040
about syphilis is that it can take quite a while to show up on a blood test. And that's the way we test
00:29:14.080
for syphilis through the blood. Or if you do have an ulcer, it can be cultured, but typically syphilis
00:29:19.440
is diagnosed through the blood test. But it can take anywhere between 30, sometimes up to 90 days
00:29:25.600
for that test to turn positive in the blood. And so I recommend people who are sexually active be
00:29:31.520
screened about every three months or so for these types of infections so you can make sure that nothing
00:29:36.320
ever goes missed. This little guy has been plaguing humanity since 3000 BC, and it's not showing any
00:29:43.600
signs of slowing down. So we have to be aware of these things, get your STI testing, get treated
00:29:50.000
when necessary, and just be aware of the risks. What questions do you have about syphilis?
00:29:56.480
All right, what a nice, you know, she's always so cheery. I like her.
00:30:03.600
Now she's also going to let us know three things we should know about syphilis.
00:30:07.360
A syphilis outbreak occurring in Houston, Texas, and the health department is reporting
00:30:11.840
a 128% increase in women since 2019. So these are the top three things I want you to know about
00:30:19.280
syphilis. The first thing I want you to know about syphilis is that oftentimes it is asymptomatic and
00:30:24.720
people do not even know they have it. The classic symptoms of syphilis, such as an ulcer or a rash,
00:30:31.440
will go away on their own without treatment. So they're often either missed or confused for other
00:30:36.560
conditions. The second thing I want you to know about syphilis is that it can be transmitted through
00:30:40.960
pretty much all forms of sex, vaginal sex, anal sex, oral sex, and even skin to skin contact.
00:30:47.120
If you come into contact with a syphilitic ulcer, these ulcers are usually painless and they can be
00:30:52.720
located inside the mouth, inside the vagina, or inside the anus. So people may not know they have
00:30:58.080
them and you may not be able to see them. The third thing I want you to know about syphilis is that it
00:31:02.560
can take quite a while to show up on a test after you've been exposed to the bacteria. It can take up
00:31:08.080
to 30 days after you are exposed for the syphilis blood test to turn positive, and in some cases,
00:31:13.760
even 60 or 90 days after exposure. So what I recommend is being tested 30, 60, and 90 days out
00:31:21.520
from a potential exposure. And if you're regularly sexually active, I recommend simply being tested
00:31:26.880
every three months. Now there's a lot more to be said about syphilis.
00:31:40.400
He already knew she was his daughter. All right, let's see.
00:31:43.840
What? I have syphilis. I'm sorry. It's okay. I got a shot. I'm cured. Then why are you even
00:31:50.480
telling us? Because it's really contagious. Maybe you guys should get tested. But what are
00:31:54.480
the symptoms? These sores in your mouth. No. I don't have any sores. Yeah, me either.
00:32:01.200
Not yet, but maybe you will. People like us don't get syphilis. I did. Yeah, well you did some
00:32:06.080
really nasty guys. I did the same guys you did. And like half the basketball team. Look, I'm just trying to be
00:32:12.240
responsible, okay? You don't need to be such a bitch. I'm sorry, but Nick and Brad are coming
00:32:16.080
over and I'd really appreciate it if you didn't tell them. You should know. Fine, tell them later
00:32:20.000
if it'll make you feel so responsible. I'm going to have fun tonight. Okay. I'm not going to have fun
00:32:24.240
anymore. You coming? She's going to hang for Nick. Girls in love. I'm sorry. Were you going to tell us
00:32:31.760
that Dawn has syphilis? Dad, she told me that in confidence. Not that I can go down broadcasting,
00:32:36.880
stuff like that. How about that the school's asking kids to get tested? Well, they didn't ask me. Did they
00:32:42.000
anything happen between you and Nick? No. Good. All right. You know pretending something didn't
00:32:47.520
happen, Hannah, it's not going to make it go away. Nothing happened. Sweetie, if something's going
00:32:52.560
on, don't shut us out. We want to help you, not judge you. There's nothing. Okay?
00:32:58.960
Yep. Yep. Yeah. That's how she got syphilis. Okay. I guess there's a syphilis outbreak in Charlotte.
00:33:07.600
Good evening and thanks for staying with us here at 730. Former health department
00:33:11.360
employees are warning about what they call a syphilis tsunami hitting Charlotte.
00:33:17.120
They say local and state health leaders aren't doing enough to protect the public.
00:33:21.680
At six o'clock tonight, investigative reporter David Hodges spoke with a former Mecklenburg County
00:33:26.080
health employee who says in some cases it is taking months for health employees to track down new
00:33:32.400
syphilis patients because of a staffing shortage and a backlog of cases. The records show the Charlotte
00:33:39.440
region far worse at tracking down these certain cases than many other areas of the state. In 2022,
00:33:45.760
just 75% of new syphilis patients assigned to county disease specialists were interviewed compared
00:33:52.960
to more than 95% from the rest of the state. Former Mecklenburg health employee Emmanuel Stanley says he
00:34:00.400
warned his supervisors about the problems, but he was ultimately fired. County records indicate it was a
00:34:06.640
personnel issue. But Stanley says he believes he was terminated for sounding the alarm on syphilis and
00:34:12.320
other safety issues at the department involving employee who was arrested. Dave is digging deeper
00:34:18.800
into issues he's investigating at the county health and human resources departments. WBTV has interviewed
00:34:26.160
two former Mecklenburg County health employees who have been blowing the whistle on what they call
00:34:31.280
a syphilis tsunami. We had a great operation going on, but now that all of that which we have built
00:34:37.760
up me and Christy over that one year to clean up a governmentally induced outbreak, to me,
00:34:45.360
it's no different than Tuskegee syphilis experiments. Emmanuel Stanley was fired in January.
00:34:50.720
Christy McCray resigned in February. I just saw my hands were tied. Nobody,
00:34:57.120
I felt like we're really listening. The public needs to know they have to protect themselves from
00:35:01.360
this deadly disease that's running rampant in our community. According to Stanley's personnel
00:35:06.160
records, which WBTV obtained through a public records request, his termination from the county
00:35:11.760
had nothing to do with his warnings about the syphilis outbreak. The reasons listed in this dismissal
00:35:16.960
letter include disorderly conduct and workplace violence. To me, they were trumped up and concocted.
00:35:22.400
So this is a confidential HR matter. WBTV obtained a recording of Stanley's termination appeals hearing.
00:35:29.200
Mecklenburg public health director Raina Washington argued the case for why Stanley
00:35:35.600
should be fired. He didn't present evidence of any violence, but instead focused on an incident in
00:35:41.440
which Stanley was accused of screaming at a human resources employee. The reason why we're here
00:35:46.320
ultimately is because of your actions, specifically the yelling, the cursing that's been described.
00:35:50.720
Okay. All right. So we got a syphilis outbreak. Not good.
00:36:00.640
We have a health alert tonight, a sharp and shocking increase in the number of infectious
00:36:04.800
syphilis cases in the Houston area. The health department says the number rose 59% in just
00:36:09.840
the first half of certain ethnic groups are at a higher risk.
00:36:13.360
Okay. Stop raw dogging for God's sake. Yeah, I know. It's like,
00:36:20.400
I know. 2018 or any syphilis is back. I mean, it didn't leave.
00:36:24.880
Rhoda is live tonight with who's most at risk, Andy.
00:36:33.360
Hi, Keith. In the early 2000s, syphilis was close to being eliminated. But since then,
00:36:38.320
health officials say every few years they've seen a spike in cases. Now syphilis symptoms
00:36:44.160
aren't always noticeable. So a person may have it and not even know they're infected.
00:36:48.800
Most at risk, anyone who's had multiple sex partners. Health officials say they're particularly
00:36:55.840
concerned about gay and bisexual men who engage in anonymous sex. They've also seen an increase
00:37:02.880
in syphilis cases among women. Last year, there were. It's the bi guys. They bring stuff back to the
00:37:08.560
women. 30. So far this year, they're at 47. We want to make sure women get tested because with syphilis,
00:37:16.320
they do run the risk of the baby being dying. So far, there have been 263 reported cases in the
00:37:24.880
first six months of 2018 compared to 165 during the same period last year. Health officials also
00:37:32.320
warned that if you've already been diagnosed with an STD, you're at a much higher risk of getting
00:37:37.520
infected. One way to reduce your risk, make sure your partner wears a condom every time you have sex.
00:37:44.160
Syphilis may start with a painless sore that usually goes away in three to six weeks.
00:37:49.280
Other symptoms include swollen glands, patchy hair loss, and a non-itchy rash on your hands or the
00:37:56.080
soles of your feet. You may have syphilis and later on, a few years, you may discover that
00:38:02.320
you have damage to your organs. Yeah, that's one we don't want. Okay, so there are multiple kinds of
00:38:10.960
hepatitis, but hepatitis B is considered an STD and is the most likely to spread by sexual activity.
00:38:18.240
Hepatitis B can be spread through infected blood, semen, and other bodily fluids. The symptoms of
00:38:24.800
hepatitis B include fatigue, loss of appetite, fever, nausea, dark colored urine, joint pain,
00:38:31.120
and yellowing of the skin and the eyes. Hepatitis B is incurable and there are medications that can
00:38:36.720
suppress the virus to prevent further damage to the liver and other organs. There's also vaccines
00:38:42.320
that can prevent a hepatitis B infection. In 2022, there were 2,126 cases of hepatitis B in 47 states
00:38:50.400
and the DC area, with an estimated 13,800 actual cases for adjusting those that are unreported.
00:38:58.320
Most of those cases were reported between people ages 40 to 59 years old.
00:39:10.560
Hi, it's Dr. Joshi and I'm a liver specialist. Let's talk about hepatitis B.
00:39:14.480
This virus is transmitted from person to person through infected body fluids,
00:39:18.720
and it affects 4% of the global population and also- Wow, that's higher than I thought, 4%.
00:39:24.560
The cause of the majority of the world's cases of liver cancer, most commonly found in people
00:39:30.160
who were born or living in China, India, the Philippines, and Nigeria, and other African
00:39:36.080
countries as well. You will only know you have this virus if you get tested because most people
00:39:41.200
have no symptoms. People who need treatment are often the ones who have an elevated viral load,
00:39:46.400
elevated liver enzymes, or any indication of liver damage. And being on treatment, if you're a
00:39:51.600
candidate, can reduce the risk of liver fibrosis and injury and reduce the risk of liver cancer.
00:39:58.000
So if you think you're at risk of having hepatitis B, see your doctor and get screened for the
00:40:03.440
important proteins that indicate whether or not you have active infection or not.
00:40:21.600
Hello, so I found out that I have hepatitis B after my initial lab test results. So my OBGYN called me
00:40:37.760
to inform me that I did test positive for hepatitis B. She did reassure me that there was nothing to worry
00:40:46.400
about and that it is a common finding for women who were born in Asian countries.
00:40:54.640
She further explained that my mother may have passed it on to me during birth.
00:41:01.360
She then referred me to a perinatologist to help with further testing.
00:41:06.560
I did additional blood tests every trimester to check my viral load and luckily they were less than zero.
00:41:17.360
All right, so she's finding out her mother gave her hepatitis B.
00:41:22.080
Oh my God, can you imagine being that mad at your mom for being a whore? Oh my God.
00:41:26.080
Means it's undetectable. Both doctors did inform me that our baby will be getting an additional vaccine called the
00:41:37.120
hepatitis B IVIG, which is an extra protection for the baby from the virus.
00:41:48.640
My perinatologist also recommended that I do see a GI specialist to check if my liver is doing okay.
00:41:57.840
And so far my baby has had the IVIG and two hep B vaccine shots. Our pediatrician informed us that
00:42:07.920
we will be checking my baby's viral load to make sure that everything is going well.
00:42:15.360
Yeah. How does the doctor know she got it from her mom? Um, I think it's because of like in a lot
00:42:21.920
of those countries it's common, but they probably don't, you know, even doctors will lie to women to
00:42:26.320
make us feel better. I do know one person that has that STD. I don't know which hepatitis, I didn't ask,
00:42:36.000
but this person was older and they lived to be pretty old. Like she's, uh, this person's in their
00:42:42.560
like seventies. So I don't think it doesn't seem to have affected this person's life.
00:42:48.400
What's up Tiktok back with another video today. And the video, that's what we're going to talk about
00:42:54.800
in this video is hepatitis B. Now, if you, if you think you got hepatitis B, these symptoms,
00:43:03.680
it's just normal, regular day symptoms, fatigue, tiredness, fever, joint pain, stomach pain, nausea,
00:43:15.200
vomiting, loss of appetite, yellow, swellness of eyes. Um, you know, your pee might be like a light color
00:43:24.000
or you might have stool or dark stuff in your, um, urine and, uh, hepatitis B,
00:43:30.960
you can't get rid of it. Can't get rid of hepatitis B. Now it, it could go away on its own,
00:43:36.960
but you, you can't get rid of hepatitis B. Matter of fact, hepatitis B be up some
00:43:41.760
shit. It can cause other problems if you don't get tested and make sure you don't have it. It can cause
00:43:46.720
other problems. Hepatitis B, HPV, HIV, and, um, what's, what's the other one? Hepatitis, HPV, hepatitis B,
00:44:04.240
and one more you can't get rid of. More. All right.
00:44:11.200
Yeah. Um, then we got this one and then you guys can call in. Oh, just real fast. What? Uh,
00:44:23.760
you gonna hear some, some celebrities who, who have hepatitis? Sure. Are you ready for this? How do you
00:44:29.920
know they have it? It's on, it's on healthline.com. So how would they, how could they like know the
00:44:38.720
medical records? Like that's HIPAA. You can't. These celebrities have, have all disclosed that
00:44:45.680
they have hepatitis. Okay. Go ahead. Yeah. So Anthony Kiedis from the Red Hot Chili Peppers,
00:44:50.880
lead singer. Pamela Anderson has hepatitis C. No way. Yeah. Yep. Uh huh. So I, I hope Liam Neeson knows.
00:45:01.120
You know what? Yep. And I, I think there's some way that it doesn't spread. I don't,
00:45:07.280
I know someone that has it and I know the person that has it, the person married doesn't. I don't know
00:45:13.040
how I don't, I didn't ask, but yeah, sorry. Go ahead. Uh, once I lost my, hold on. Okay. Um,
00:45:24.000
Natasha Lyonne has it. Okay. Uh, Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. He had it. Ken Watanabe. He's a actor.
00:45:33.760
He had it. Uh, who else would you know? Naomi Judd. She had it. David Crosby had it.
00:45:43.520
Billy Graham, the wrestler had it. Lou Reed, the singer. He had it. And Natalie Cole, you know,
00:45:49.200
Nat King Cole's daughter had hepatitis C. Greg Allman from the Allman brothers. He had hepatitis C.
00:45:54.800
Evil Knievel, the stuntman. He had, um, he had to get a, uh, a liver transplant because he had hepatitis C.
00:46:02.000
Um, and those are everyone that, you know, everyone else is too old for you to know.
00:46:08.400
Yeah. It seems like the person I know that has it is older.
00:46:11.040
Uh, it seems to be an older person thing. Something known as-
00:46:15.920
Yes. So ladies, if you go for a grandpa, just know he might.
00:46:20.800
If you guys are banging these old broads, they might give you something.
00:46:23.680
It's very natal spread. I'll just simplify it down. It's very interesting.
00:46:28.160
So if, uh, somebody's parents, father or mother has hepatitis B, but they don't know about it because
00:46:34.880
all hepatitis B viral infections does not become a disease. The virus just stays in your body. It
00:46:40.960
doesn't do anything. In some cases, it might promote liver damage, cause cirrhosis, liver cancer, whatever.
00:46:46.320
But in many patients, many people, they are just inside. We don't know about it. So in such people,
00:46:51.200
they transmit this virus to their children. So the mothers can transmit the virus to their children
00:46:56.080
during childbirth and fathers can transmit the virus to the children during the early years of life,
00:47:02.800
due to excessive, uh, what do you call that, uh, handling and kissing and all. So usually only the,
00:47:10.240
yeah, usually only the eldest son or daughter gets it. What is very important in India and very
00:47:16.880
importantly, what I see something known as perinatal spread. I'll just simplify it down. It's very
00:47:22.160
interesting. So if, uh, somebody's parents, father or mother has hepatitis B, but they don't know about
00:47:30.080
it because all hepatitis B viral. Okay. Yeah. Now we got moms giving it and dads. All right. So we got
00:47:38.480
questions for the callers. If you have contracted hepatitis or syphilis, can you please call in
00:47:46.080
and tell us your story, how you got it, who you got it from? Um, or if you know somebody that has it,
00:47:53.200
call in and tell the story is a woman with a history of hepatitis or syphilis, a deal breaker.
00:48:00.400
And what if she got it from her parents? We're going to put a zoom link in the chat and I would
00:48:06.240
love to have you guys call in. Let me check the chat. Um, again, my, my computer is being weird
00:48:11.760
today. It's just, it's just been a week with technology. Um, we can maybe start with a poll
00:48:21.440
and see is, is a woman with hepatitis from her parents, a deal breaker? Yes or no, no fault of
00:48:28.400
her own. Now, while we're waiting, we are going to show my divorce documentary trailer. Um, while we're
00:48:35.680
going to wait for people to get on the line, by the way, guys, you can this, um, this was a compilation
00:48:41.520
of all the interviews I did when I was in England for the divorce documentary. Unfortunately, um,
00:48:46.000
they demonetized me. Uh, I basically had to put my life on hold the last two years. Um, because
00:48:52.800
these ladies just take me to court, like, it's just a whole thing. And anyways, long, long story short,
00:49:00.160
um, we're trying to raise a hundred thousand dollars. The link to it is in the description.
00:49:04.720
If you can donate, if not, it's no big deal. Um, I also want to say thank you, but my computer won't
00:49:10.080
turn on, but there are three people that donated last time and two of them sent a hundred dollars.
00:49:15.120
So I really appreciate that. We're going to read your names next show. So there's this clip going
00:49:19.920
viral online of a dozen women being asked the following question. Do we need men?
00:49:26.720
Most answered very quickly. No, because men are useless.
00:49:32.640
This headline from the hill, it caught my eye. Most young men are single. Most young women are not.
00:49:38.160
Young men have fallen faster than any demographic in America over the last 40 years.
00:49:42.800
It's a different world now. Like we don't need men the way that they used to.
00:49:50.320
Men and women are drifting further apart and society is crumbling because of it.
00:49:57.200
A fascinating debate has broken out about the value of merit.
00:50:00.080
You've kind of got the trad con versus red pill thing.
00:50:02.640
This men's rights crowd that sometimes just goes too far the other way.
00:50:06.160
You need to stop acting like grown boys and infants and actually become men.
00:50:12.960
It's a machine designed to extract resources from you.
00:50:16.000
Now many of the red-pilled have taken the position that it's bad for men to get married.
00:50:24.640
One of the most controversial faces in all of the internet.
00:50:28.240
She goes on to say that marriage is a terrible deal for men.
00:50:31.040
Because if me and you were in a business contract, you would never sign a contract where I am paid to leave.
00:50:38.480
74% or something of divorces are initiated by women.
00:50:42.000
Men have everything to lose, primarily their own children.
00:50:45.040
Men get killed by the courts and by divorce laws.
00:50:47.600
I had no idea that courts of family law were courts of equity, not courts of law.
00:50:52.400
Because in family court, you don't need evidence to accuse someone of abuse. You need no evidence.
00:50:56.800
When you guys say get married young, a lot of these men don't know what they're signing up for.
00:51:00.640
And you're not going to be there when their entire life falls apart.
00:51:06.400
I didn't meet my son until he was 15 months old.
00:51:13.200
Before you know it, you're homeless. You're literally just thrown out onto the street.
00:51:16.560
We absolutely reinforce bad behavior from women.
00:51:19.120
Wives are taught to leave their husbands and then daughters grow up without their fathers.
00:51:25.040
Every problem in society comes from single mother homes.
00:51:28.240
A lot of women will just chase this negative rabbit hole of happiness, endless happiness.
00:51:32.400
Feminism's biggest failure is it lies to women.
00:51:34.480
We tell women to date as many guys as possible.
00:51:40.720
You are allowed to end a relationship with a really great boyfriend.
00:51:48.320
I don't think there's anything else in life that we actually ever go into preparing to fail.
00:51:52.400
Like if you have the mentality of this is going to go wrong and be pessimistic,
00:51:56.400
naturally the outcome is going to be that it's going to fail anyway.
00:51:59.840
And that's the thing, like women are so willing to leave marriages because they're not happy.
00:52:07.760
And the problem is we have a modern society where it's me, me, me, my feelings,
00:52:12.240
leave when I feel like it instead of doing what's best for the kids.
00:52:15.360
This myth that we live in an age of male privilege, where's my male privilege?
00:52:20.160
They think, well, men have all the rights, they have all the power.
00:52:25.280
Why doesn't our society care about men's rights?
00:52:35.680
I've seen so many men on the brink of suicide and they didn't do anything wrong.
00:52:40.000
How are you equal if the men are the ones that have to fight and die to defend the country?
00:52:45.520
The men are the ones that build and maintain all the infrastructure.
00:52:52.000
The so-called deaths of despair from suicide, overdose to alcohol,
00:53:09.680
Everybody knows this is a huge problem, but nobody wants to admit it.
00:53:13.440
Every single woman at the table said they wanted a man-
00:53:18.960
Everything is really set up against you to fail as a man.
00:53:21.120
If men make less than women, women don't want to marry them.
00:53:24.720
So you know who wants more economically and emotionally viable men?
00:53:30.320
I don't want to be an independent woman anymore.
00:53:45.760
She says stupid stuff, but Pearl is right about this.
00:53:50.880
Now it's just hookup culture is going to be our fairytale ending because men don't want a wife
00:53:56.480
The future, if everybody follows your path, is there is no future.
00:54:00.640
We're going into population decline and our economy goes into decline.
00:54:08.960
This is an existential crisis failing young men.
00:54:19.040
Otherwise, please do call in if you know anybody that's had syphilis, hepatitis.
00:54:25.440
Someone wants to know the global elderly STD stat.
00:54:58.640
I heard that old folks' homes are just havens for STDs.
00:55:08.080
It's like, I mean, like, do you really care if you catch anything and you're 80?
00:55:20.560
That's why I said he's not going to care about hepatitis.
00:55:39.040
I was wondering if anyone would call in about this one, because there's one woman.
00:55:46.640
Well, it says the exact origin of syphilis remains debated among scientists.
00:55:52.880
However, the most widely accepted theory is that it originated in the Americas and was introduced
00:55:58.160
to Europe by Christopher Columbus's crew in the late 15th century.
00:56:02.400
Syphilis was first documented in Europe in 1493, shortly after Columbus's returned from the Americas.
00:56:08.400
Archaeological evidence suggests that a similar disease existed in the Americas before European contact.
00:56:13.520
Genetic analysis of the bacteria that causes syphilis indicates it originated in the Americas.
00:56:24.880
At least they have cures and stuff now and vaccines.
00:56:27.760
It says the origin of syphilis is still debated, but it is believed that it originated from an animal,
00:56:37.440
possibly sheep or cattle, and then crossed over to humans.
00:56:45.760
What percent of people over 60, I'm going to say have herpes, because that's...
00:57:10.880
Oh, yeah. You don't have to have your camera on, people.
00:57:15.760
And I've never met someone who's had hepatitis or syphilis.
00:57:26.640
This was someone older that I'd known for a while, but I found out this person had it when I was older.
00:57:35.440
But this person, I don't know what hepatitis that this person had, but they seem to live a normal life.
00:57:46.880
This person's in pretty good shape for their age.
00:57:50.560
It says, uh, historical figures who, who were affected by syphilis.
00:58:00.720
Did those, that, did that American Indian Poonani getcha?
00:58:07.360
So, they're probably banging animals and all sorts of stuff.
00:58:10.720
I mean, if you're out to sea, you get to Al Capone perish from advanced stages of syphilis,
00:58:16.960
likely contracted in one of his, of his whorehouses.
00:58:20.480
So, Al Capone, they said he likely died of syphilis.
00:58:27.280
the leader of the Germans during World War II had many symptoms of syphilis.
00:58:39.360
Yeah, we're not saying that name on here, but yeah.
00:58:43.280
I just said we're not saying that name on here, but yeah.
00:58:47.920
Abraham Lincoln may have passed syphilis on to his wife.
00:58:56.240
After the president's passing, his former law partner claimed that Lincoln had admitted to
00:59:03.280
Lincoln spent time on the Mississippi River in New Orleans, and it's rumored to have patronized
00:59:09.520
cat houses, equal whorehouses, while in the city.
00:59:15.920
Frederick Nietzsche, they said that he, he may have died of syphilis.
00:59:21.680
Um, Lenin, you know, the guy that led the Soviet revolution, they say he, he may have died of
00:59:32.640
Oh, Henry VIII, they said that he may have had symptoms of syphilis.
00:59:43.360
Uh, isn't Beethoven may have had syphilis with related symptoms?
00:59:53.600
I think they kind of eradicated it mostly at this.
00:59:59.040
Who's my, I think I'm going to get her to call in.
01:00:01.520
Um, cause I don't think younger people really have it.
01:00:05.360
Uh, Scott Joplin, the, the, um, the ragtime, uh, composer, he had it.
01:00:19.040
So that is suspected of having syphilis related, uh, symptoms.
01:00:26.960
No, one's going to call in about syphilis or hepatitis.
01:00:36.480
Uh, well, you know, how long did you have that one?
01:00:51.920
If you guys have any other STD stories, I mean, if it's not hepatitis or syphilis,
01:00:57.440
I mean, feel free if you haven't called in and told the story before.
01:01:09.360
I have, um, I've heard that even when women like learn about STDs, we still don't care
01:01:16.640
because my, my friend told me he dated like female doctors.
01:01:20.160
Like he dated a few and none of them cared about using protection.
01:01:25.680
I told you plenty of times, um, in the South, particularly in Atlanta, if you whip out a condom,
01:01:34.480
They're like, oh, you think I'm dirty and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
01:01:46.640
There's some pride about her or something like that.
01:02:01.840
Yeah, I, uh, but yeah, guys, you got to wrap it up, man.
01:02:20.800
Can you tell the people, um, a little bit about your background?
01:02:31.120
So I worked at AIDS clinic and we did testing for a lot of stuff and worked there for about
01:02:38.000
five years and was, you know, certified to give people results and stuff like that.
01:02:48.720
So we got like a lot of the behind the scenes type of, you know, stories tea, if you will.
01:03:01.200
So yeah, if you ever free seven to nine, call in.
01:03:04.560
Um, so today we're talking about syphilis and hepatitis.
01:03:08.880
Did you ever test for those or was it mostly just HIV?
01:03:12.080
Mostly just HIV, but the people that I saw had HIV AIDS and they would almost all of them
01:03:21.200
have co-infections of other STDs when they came in.
01:03:24.400
So a lot of my clients had both of those, unfortunately.
01:03:29.520
So it was kind of like a co-infection with hepatitis and, um, HIV usually.
01:03:35.520
And what percent of people that get HIV, would you say it's like gay people?
01:03:41.120
Like, is that do straight people in my, and this could be completely ignorant.
01:03:47.760
But I thought it was just like a gay disease, like just gay people usually get it.
01:03:54.160
Well, back in the day, it was more prevalent with gay people.
01:03:58.640
But since more people are doing more experimental things.
01:04:07.120
These are things that normally straight people didn't do if you catch my drift.
01:04:12.080
So that has opened the door to it becoming more widespread with both genders.
01:04:19.920
They're, they're giving it to the girls too, huh?
01:04:22.880
Well, well, yeah, but like the girls are getting it from a specific, you know what I'm saying?
01:04:31.520
Because you're saying you're more likely to get it from like backdoor stuff.
01:04:36.800
But since that's more common now, it's starting to level out a little bit.
01:04:42.400
I'd love to hear, I know we spoke the one time briefly about prevention.
01:04:47.680
Do you have any like tips for people to prevent STDs?
01:04:51.040
Like if someone wants to be sexually active, and I always use the example,
01:04:55.200
if a guy or a girl comes to you and they say, look, I'm about to be a hoe.
01:05:02.000
What are your tips for people that want to be sexually active, but they don't want to catch an STD?
01:05:07.520
There is no way to be sexually active and assure that you will not catch something.
01:05:15.280
There is safer, but there is no such thing as safe.
01:05:18.320
Anyone who tells you that you can completely guarantee something is lying to you.
01:05:29.280
But like, what would you say to prevent it the best?
01:05:32.720
I just remember last time we talked, you had some really good tips.
01:05:42.400
I ranked from least risky to the most risky things you can do.
01:05:48.080
I don't know if I should say a lot of these things, but like I'll allude to some of them.
01:05:54.720
So like the least risk risky stuff would be mutual.
01:05:59.280
You know, like you're not really, I can't even say this stuff on the internet.
01:06:06.240
But like you each touched yourselves, but next to each other.
01:06:11.120
So like, that would be like, like, I don't know, a sweet, innocent thing that you can't get anything with.
01:06:23.680
The next one, you could do closed mouth kissing with no saliva exchange, because unfortunately,
01:06:30.800
there's many things you can get from saliva, like Epstein-Barr virus, stuff like that, cold sore.
01:06:36.480
But if you just avoid fluids, you're going to be much safer.
01:06:43.840
The next least safe is going to be like French kissing, because there's saliva involved.
01:06:48.720
So that's going to give you some risk of EBV, a whole bunch of other things.
01:06:56.160
So not anything serious unless, and I have to, there are some cases where people had really bad
01:07:07.040
And you could get it that way if you also especially have bad dental health.
01:07:11.040
So two people with bad dental health, there's going to be more risk.
01:07:14.800
And then we have, uh, things like, you know, you can hug and handhold, but remember there's
01:07:22.160
certain things you can get from each other's hands.
01:07:24.160
So like nothing is 100% if you have cuts on your body.
01:07:35.920
If you're going to do anything orally, I would say dental dams are mandatory for the women and
01:07:48.640
Uh, unfortunately you got to have a barrier or you're at risk.
01:07:54.960
And, and people think also with condoms that they're safe, but there's the area around,
01:08:00.000
there's things you can still get passed on through that.
01:08:03.840
And then maybe like now we're now after this point, you're in a high risk situation.
01:08:09.360
Vaginal is less risk than backdoor by far, but it's still a very high risk.
01:08:20.320
Now I know a lot of people do not like hearing this because like, it's kind of like a Debbie
01:08:26.320
Downer thing to say you, you want, you, oh, well it doesn't count.
01:08:33.360
You have to look at a diagram of the thickness of the walls of the vagina compared to that of
01:08:43.600
And then you have natural lubrication and then none.
01:08:47.280
So you can use a lot of artificial lubrication, water-based lubrication, and it's going to help,
01:08:56.640
So it's going to wear off very quickly, need to be constantly reapplied.
01:09:00.640
This is just not, it's not a safe route for someone who's with someone that they don't know or trust.
01:09:09.600
And is, are you more likely to get something from oral sex or vaginal sex?
01:09:16.720
I would say it's probably a near, near, like if no dental dance is probably equal.
01:09:30.640
Vaginal sex has a little more risk with different STDs than you would because the external ones
01:09:37.840
you're going to get with both, but like there's maybe a few, like maybe, no, I think it's probably,
01:09:49.040
And what STDs would you say are the most like common and undiagnosed maybe?
01:09:53.840
Like, are there some that are going around that people aren't really talking about?
01:09:58.960
Well, lots of people have, um, well, the problem that we have in this country is you have to ask
01:10:06.560
to be tested and you have to ask to be tested for specific ones. They do not offer it. They,
01:10:13.440
like, it's totally up to the individual person. And unfortunately, most people don't like to ask
01:10:19.280
because they don't like to know because there's like a psychological barrier. If I don't know,
01:10:23.680
then I'm not knowingly giving it to somebody else. And people like to gaslight themselves,
01:10:30.080
unfortunately, to think I can tell by looking at someone that they're going to be safe when there's
01:10:34.480
really no way you can tell. As you know, like there's some things that you can be born with from
01:10:39.280
your parents and they didn't know that they had it. So like, nobody knows unless you test.
01:10:46.560
And what would you say the chances of like, from each sexual encounter,
01:10:51.920
how likely is someone to catch something? And this is just your experience.
01:10:59.360
You got to go like, you got to go by, uh, how easy is it? This is just purely my thoughts on it.
01:11:07.520
So like, this is not scientific or anything. This is just like my thought based on what I've seen.
01:11:12.480
I would say if somebody is quick to sleep with you, they're quick to sleep with other people.
01:11:16.960
And there, there's a higher likelihood that doesn't mean now you have to like,
01:11:22.240
I have to like preface this. Like some people are quick to sleep with certain people and not other
01:11:26.640
people. So you have to know like where you stand on that scale and assess after that.
01:11:31.920
Do you know what I found the, um, there's two types of people that get STDs.
01:11:36.640
It seems like either the whores and the naive. So like half of the ones that like,
01:11:41.360
we've had call in, they were like married guys that got it from their wife.
01:11:46.720
Yeah. Have you found that too? Or was that, is that just something I've seen?
01:11:50.240
Lots, lots of married people give it to each other. Unfortunately.
01:11:56.640
I'm looking at these tests on quest right now. This is expensive. Uh,
01:12:04.320
the basic. So you're saying the, the STD screening test panel expanded,
01:12:09.200
it's screened for seven sexually trans transmitted infections. So that's,
01:12:14.400
I think the one that people, they recommend. So that's going to have hepatitis, chlamydia,
01:12:20.160
gonorrhea, trick, syphilis, HIV one, and two. It doesn't even test for herpes. Look at that.
01:12:25.920
That's crazy. Wow. Yeah. And that's going to be another barriers people. I'm just looking at quest
01:12:33.040
because that's a common one. Like people aren't going to want to pay this.
01:12:36.720
Have you ever had to go to a scenario where someone, where a couple came in,
01:12:41.200
what that someone gave someone, something to somebody and they found out through the test.
01:12:49.440
And then something happened at the clinic. I mean, as far, nothing, nothing violent or
01:12:55.120
anything like that has happened, but people get upset. There was a few times where we got false
01:13:00.720
positives. So that wasn't fun because there was a lot of fighting and possible divorces. And then it
01:13:05.760
turns out, Oh, it was a false positive. So that happens unfortunately too. But yeah,
01:13:10.960
there's been cases where like somebody marries someone who has no experience or whatever,
01:13:19.600
but then they find out that that person with no experience later had experience during the marriage
01:13:25.120
they should not have had. And then they get something. I mean, there's lots of cases on both
01:13:30.400
sides. I would say like, I've seen equally males do that and females. I don't think this is a,
01:13:38.800
this is like uncommon, unfortunately, for both genders when they have the opportunity to do
01:13:44.400
something. Was there, was it a particular race of women that had more STDs in your clinic than any
01:13:50.720
other race? I'm not saying that. You can look that up. I just want to know if it was
01:14:00.400
actually true at your clinic. I'm sure whatever the stats are, are true.
01:14:05.440
Oh, come on. Come on. I will say this. They are changing. The stats are changing. It is becoming
01:14:15.440
very common with all peoples now. As culture shifts, it is no longer stigmatized for any group.
01:14:24.880
You have to be politically correct over here. Yes, I do.
01:14:27.760
All right. For the people, I found an STD test that was an at-home one. Chlamydia,
01:14:35.200
gonorrhea, hepatitis C, HIV 1 and 2, syphilis, TRIC, microplasma, genitalium, HPV,
01:14:42.720
herpes simplex 2. Is there anything they're missing in this?
01:14:48.480
Um, you know that bacteria vaginitis is a sexually transmitted infection now. They're considering it
01:14:55.680
that. So like, there's a lot of people who are getting it from that too. And they think it's
01:15:00.960
just like, I don't know, they're like, maybe they're sick or something. I don't know. But there's
01:15:08.320
HPV. Is that like on there too? Yeah, that was on there. I'm just, I'm just looking at basic boxes
01:15:14.240
because you said a lot of them aren't tested for. So I'm just, I'm kind of asking the question if like,
01:15:19.280
yeah, if the, well, when you go into tests, they usually only test for the ones you mentioned,
01:15:25.920
except HIV. They will not test for that unless you go to a specific clinic that tests for HIV.
01:15:34.800
I mean, they can ask for blood tests, but doctors don't like to do it because I don't think that
01:15:39.280
they're legally allowed to give you the results. I'm not sure about that. I know that clinics,
01:15:44.640
you have to do a specific test just to be allowed to give someone results for HIV,
01:15:49.680
not for the other ones. Were you surprised by the types of people that had STDs? Like,
01:15:57.280
would there be certain ones that you just would never? How accurate are the at-home STI tests?
01:16:09.280
well, even the ones in clinic, we've had false positives. So I don't know like the percentage
01:16:13.760
of accuracy. I would say none are completely accurate. Even if you get a positive or a
01:16:18.880
negative, I would still retest every like three months or so just to be sure. That's what I said.
01:16:24.640
I would say three months, like, cause based on the shows I've been doing, it seems like if you get
01:16:29.680
chlamydia untreated for three months, that could be pretty bad. That's, you know, do you agree with
01:16:39.040
that? I'm just asking like best practices here. A lot of these things cause long-term infertility.
01:16:43.600
And I just asking, you know, like months ago when I talked to you, I asked just regular girlfriends,
01:16:50.240
like, have you ever been tested for anything like for real? And a hundred percent have not been tested
01:16:55.840
for anything. That is so crazy for me. I think I'm neurotic though. So I think I know too much,
01:17:03.120
but I'm like, that is crazy. It's just not very common because people are still under the stigma
01:17:10.320
that only a certain type of people get things and it's everybody now.
01:17:16.400
Is there anything that you think is really, um, like a lot of women have or men have and they don't
01:17:22.320
know? Definitely. A lot of men have pretty much all the STDs and don't know it cause it's really,
01:17:30.800
really difficult for them to start showing symptoms. And there's even a lot of women that
01:17:35.120
have lots of STDs and zero symptoms, but they're carriers of things. So I would say,
01:17:42.080
I don't know. I think it's like both of them, they're just walking around untested.
01:17:45.520
Yeah. They're carriers of things. What do you mean?
01:17:48.400
Yeah. There's a lot of people like if you have, let's say a really good immune system and you get
01:17:52.160
something, you can still be a carrier, but you're not going to express symptoms.
01:17:55.920
Yeah. If you're in like a sicker person, someone who's under more stress, doesn't sleep well, has
01:18:05.840
other conditions going on, their body's going to be overwhelmed. Whereas somebody who's relatively
01:18:11.040
healthy, sleeps pretty well, doesn't have as much stress. They're not going to show symptoms and
01:18:15.040
they're going to be more likely to just have it and maybe be a carrier, but not express the symptoms
01:18:20.000
themselves. Yeah. That makes sense. And I would go to lots of patients homes with
01:18:28.240
AIDS, HIV, lots of comorbidities. And just by the lifestyle of the person, you could see whether they
01:18:34.480
were going to like live a long time, even with it or not. And it's down to diet. It's down to mindset.
01:18:40.320
It's down to like how happy you are. Like at some of the happiest people I know
01:18:44.080
have all the STDs in the world, but they're very happy and they live just as long as everybody else
01:18:51.520
for some reason. And then there'll be people who they just have like a party lifestyle. They're not
01:18:56.880
sleeping well. They're up all night. They're, you know, stressed out about stuff. And then when they
01:19:01.840
get something like this, it pushes them over the edge and then they get all these bad symptoms.
01:19:06.320
Yeah, that makes sense. Um, do you have any, like, would any, do you have any crazy stories
01:19:14.960
from your time at the clinic that you want to share that are like interesting?
01:19:18.800
Ah, there's one that comes to mind, but I know like, you're like a more like women are the problem,
01:19:24.400
but there's this one that like, I always think about. Cause it's kind of like the, you know, like
01:19:29.840
the, the passport bro thing that has always been a thing. Passport bros, dawn of time. I don't know
01:19:35.840
why it got like a name recently, but I'm talking about 20 something years ago.
01:19:40.480
So we had this guy, he made his money. So he's very, very wealthy, has yachts, everything like,
01:19:45.840
and he, you know, passed through lots and lots of women, but then he finally got something.
01:19:51.440
And after he got something, he went down South, picked himself a nice young virgin bride, Latin bride,
01:19:59.680
brought her over to the States, got, got her pregnant, had the baby. After the baby was like
01:20:05.440
a year or something said, Hey, let's go get tested. And of course she ended up having HIV.
01:20:10.880
And so did the baby. Now I know like terrible story, but like the, the problem with that was
01:20:17.280
if he had at least told her after he gave it to her, we could have prevented the baby from getting it.
01:20:25.360
Which upsets me. Oh my gosh. So he didn't tell her and he knew he had it.
01:20:29.840
Yeah. Yeah. He knew like he was, he was specifically going there for that situation. So,
01:20:35.200
cause he wanted to have a family, but I mean, stuff like that happens on the other side too. It's just,
01:20:41.120
you know, the thing is, I don't consider like men are the problem or women are the problem. I just think
01:20:46.960
people who are narcissists are just growing in numbers. So people need to be careful.
01:20:53.120
What's the difference between HIV one and two? One is like earlier, two is like later in the disease, right?
01:21:00.480
Or am I wrong? I don't know if they, I don't know if I've never heard HIV one. No, there's HSV one and HSV.
01:21:07.280
Oh yeah. No, I'm just looking at testing sites and it says HIV one and two. I was just looking at,
01:21:12.400
cause you said it's not in like the general panel. So I was just kind of curious and it said HIV one and
01:21:18.480
two testing. So I was like, I don't know what that means. If you're curious why it's called passport
01:21:23.280
bros and people have a problem with it is because it's because a lot of black men are passport bros
01:21:30.720
now and like our women have a problem with it. So like white guys have been doing it forever,
01:21:36.000
but now that a lot of black guys are doing it, they're passport bros and there's a problem with it
01:21:39.760
because black women feel like they own black men and we're supposed to stay here
01:21:43.600
and deal with their garbage and we're choosing not to. Well, I mean, this has been going on forever.
01:21:51.520
It's just maybe like they just figured out this was an option. You can't get mad. You got to do what
01:21:57.680
you got to do. That's true. I feel like your testing should be like, it should be regardless of who
01:22:04.640
you're dating. Like, cause it should be mandatory. I think it should be mandatory for like every checkup.
01:22:10.240
Yeah, I agree. I don't understand. Why don't the doctors? Cause I, that's happened to me before
01:22:18.160
where you go in for your yearly and I'm like, yeah, I want everything. And they're like everything. I'm
01:22:21.840
like everything, give everything. Why did they try to talk you out of it? It's like, don't, shouldn't I
01:22:28.960
have a feeling that like, they need to have a specific code to bill insurance. So you have to say
01:22:35.280
specific things for them to justify the test. So like, maybe they lose out something if they
01:22:42.400
have to, or they don't want to make stuff up or whatever.
01:22:47.760
But like, they're definitely like discouraged from putting anything, unless you say I am like
01:22:53.760
a very promiscuous person, please test me for everything. If you don't say that,
01:22:59.120
then they always push back. Yeah. I'm just neurotic. It's not going to be me. What a microplasma
01:23:06.880
genitalium. Is it UTI or some UTIs? Yes. STDs. Yes. And I know you did something on birth control
01:23:18.960
before, but a lot of women do not know that chronic UTIs or BV can be from just being on birth control.
01:23:28.400
Oh, really? That's interesting. Yeah. Just the act of being on birth control ruins the microbiome
01:23:34.400
in the, I think the vaginal canal and maybe the throat and stuff like that. So just like how you
01:23:42.000
can ruin your microbiome and your gut, you can ruin it everywhere else. Oh. Okay. You did counseling
01:23:50.400
services at your, at your clinic too? Yes. So when someone found out, would you ever have to counsel
01:23:56.560
someone that had something permanent like HIV or something on how to like disclose it to people
01:24:02.080
or how to live a normal life and stuff? I believe back when we were doing it, like
01:24:08.080
you had to disclose, but I don't believe you have to disclose anymore. So you, you don't ever have
01:24:14.800
to tell people. And here's the thing. Yeah. Can you, well, just finish that thought, but this whole
01:24:21.200
undetectable thing, can you, after you finished the thought about the disclosure thing, can you talk
01:24:27.600
about this whole undetectable HIV thing? Like what is that about? Yeah. That is when you're on medication.
01:24:34.560
So the viral load is like low. So it's past the detectable threshold that it needs for the test
01:24:42.240
to be positive. You still have it, but it's in a low number, but you can still spread it to people.
01:24:49.760
I mean, it's, uh, it's less likely, but possible.
01:24:57.520
So like, uh, cause I just hope it's not a thing where like people that are undetectable are just like
01:25:03.600
walking around. Like they don't have it at all. Doug MPA. We've talked about this. I've interviewed
01:25:08.320
people that have these STDs. They don't care. They spread them. Exactly. Like there's no,
01:25:14.640
your only choice, even if you're a responsible person, if you're sexually active every three,
01:25:19.520
I would say three months, maybe six, if you're in a relationship and you're semi-confident and don't
01:25:24.640
feel like blowing. Some of these are expensive. My God. Like for me, I could pay it, but like for a normal
01:25:31.280
person paying, like, I mean, this is going to be over a grand a year in testing, you know?
01:25:38.400
Yeah. And that's, that's the other problem that a lot of people see, especially if you're like a
01:25:43.760
poor college student, you see how much it costs. You're going to lie and say, yeah, I've been tested.
01:25:51.040
Yeah. Like this is even for BV yeast infection and trick it's $269. That's expensive.
01:25:59.120
So like, I mean, there's definitely some cheaper places you can go get it, but like,
01:26:05.040
it's still expensive. It's like, I think the lowest, maybe like $50 per thing. You can get it.
01:26:11.680
Some of them I saw as low as 25, but like specific things like 25 for chlamydia, 25 for gonorrhea,
01:26:23.680
Ah, ah, ah, ah, can either be, yeah, I got nothing.
01:26:37.760
We did have, um, I did want to say there was, it's very difficult for lesbian couples to give any STD to
01:26:45.280
each other for like, you know, the blood ones. Right. But we did have one lesbian that she was
01:26:51.520
able to give her partner's HIV somehow. She was the only one. We never figured out how she did it, but
01:27:04.320
I'll tell the story. So I lived in Texas for a while and, um, this, this woman that worked with my
01:27:14.560
mother, her sister, uh, she go on work trips and she, she'd meet guys and she sleep with them and she,
01:27:23.600
she got HIV. And, um, you know, the San Antonio airport's really, really big and has a couple of
01:27:30.240
nice bars. So she would dress up on a Friday night, Saturday night, and just sit at the bar
01:27:36.800
and just wait for some guy to pick her up and have sex with them unprotected and who was giving people
01:27:42.480
HIV. And she said, yes, someone gave it to me. So I'm gonna give it to people. And she got arrested
01:27:47.520
multiple times for giving people HIV, but she just, she's like, yeah, they gave it to me. I'm gonna give
01:27:53.520
it to them. So if you see a girl in a, uh, a little red dress at the bar, at one of the bars in San
01:28:00.240
Antonio, you better watch out. Um, unfortunately that's pretty common. Once people get it and they
01:28:08.640
realize people will give it to them, they just become like a villain. Yeah. That's, that's what,
01:28:14.320
I mean, your choices are going to be your dating life is ruined or, um, like, and you could sleep
01:28:24.080
at night or you're going to lie. And a lot of people are going to pay. I've interviewed people
01:28:27.680
with herpes and I mean, they're, they're just going to spread it. They don't care.
01:28:34.560
Unfortunately, I don't know if you've, I'm guessing you've seen similar things. Yeah.
01:28:38.480
Oh, of course. Of course. Um, most of my clients back in the day were gay men and it was just
01:28:46.640
understood in the community that everybody was going to get it if they didn't already have it.
01:28:50.720
So they just kind of accepted it. If you will. One of my, one of my friends, uh, he, he was like,
01:28:59.760
yeah, man, you know, he's gay. He's just like, yeah, we're trying to destigmatize STDs in the gay
01:29:06.560
community. So we were kind of more of a tolerant atmosphere. I'm like, what? He's like, yeah, man.
01:29:13.040
Yeah. And I'm just like, okay there, but keep that all the way over there. No, thanks.
01:29:20.240
Yeah. I mean, it doesn't matter how gross it is. You know, it's just, that's what they're going to do.
01:29:25.200
So you gotta, you gotta have a plan for yourself and that's, that's all you can really do.
01:29:30.880
So you'd say, you'd say if you're going to be sexually active, condoms, dental dams,
01:29:35.760
and testing every three months, that's your recommendation.
01:29:39.520
I mean, yeah. And remember, like when I started working at this clinic, I was very, very young,
01:29:45.680
very naive. I didn't know anything about anything. And then as soon as I found all this stuff,
01:29:50.480
if I even went on a date, I'm like, the first thing we're going to do is we're going to go to
01:29:53.600
this clinic. And of course, most people don't want to do that for a first date, but you know what?
01:30:00.320
That's fine. Then there won't be one. That's okay.
01:30:03.200
Really? What was your success rate? Like how many guys were like, okay,
01:30:07.040
because you're, you're like a hot 18 year old guys will do a lot for that.
01:30:13.360
I mean, there was definitely people who, who said yes. Like my husband, he was like, okay. Yeah.
01:30:18.480
But from, I will say this when I asked him, were you tested? He was like, yeah, of course. And I'm
01:30:23.120
like, okay, then you'll have no problem going with me to this clinic. And then he's like, okay. And then I
01:30:28.160
found out later, like, no, he wasn't. He was just trying to see if to speed this along.
01:30:33.760
That's how it is. People, young people are broke. They're not going to pay for that stuff unless you
01:30:42.480
Yeah, totally. Doug MPA, you got anything else for?
01:30:46.640
Um, it's always good to hear from people that were actually there in these clinics. Um,
01:30:53.520
just one more thing. So they said, um, I've watched a couple of women on social media talk about,
01:31:02.560
in Miami, it's some of the most beautiful women you're ever going to see are like in and out of the
01:31:07.440
HIV clinic and are in and out of the clinic getting HIV medication. Is there, is there like a, is it true
01:31:17.360
that you can't tell by looking, looking at someone if they have like HIV or some kind of STD? Would you
01:31:23.680
assume that a certain, like, how can I put this here? Like they say that if a girl is like a little
01:31:31.840
too pretty, she probably has something in Miami. Like, is there, have you seen, is it true that how much,
01:31:43.280
how much trying to ask this question here? Um, I don't know how to, how to ask.
01:31:53.040
Okay. So if you're asking, if you can tell by looking at someone, like if they're very pretty,
01:31:58.160
assuming like that they will have, no, I haven't noticed that with very attractive women. Now,
01:32:03.680
the OnlyFans thing happened after I quit. So I don't know if that jumped like the attractive women
01:32:13.200
getting that. So I, my, my suspect should, I suspect, yes, I, yes. If they've done OnlyFans or that type
01:32:22.160
of work, I suspect they probably have a higher chance. Now, before the OnlyFans happened, I didn't see very
01:32:30.480
many beautiful women. I'm just going to be honest, but I did see very many beautiful men.
01:32:38.560
Yes. We very, very like top tier looking men. And then very, very, very wealthy men,
01:32:47.520
extremely wealthy men and extremely beautiful men. For the women, I would say average looking to me.
01:32:54.320
Yeah, I'd guess mids because beautiful women don't have to put out as much.
01:33:00.000
Yeah. Yeah. But mids have to put out to, to try to get the results that the beautiful women get.
01:33:06.400
I know, but that's the point. The middle put out, you know, more. So what you're saying about powerful
01:33:12.880
men and beautiful men is why you see, you know, one, one basketball player's wife goes to like a, like
01:33:22.080
another, another celebrity. Cause odds are she has something and they both have something.
01:33:28.480
I understand what I'm saying. Like it's like a circle, because if you like ushers given two
01:33:33.360
women herpes and they've sued him for like, like $1.5 million. So you can avoid that by just like
01:33:40.160
sticking with women that are in the circle, but you know, have something.
01:33:43.600
Wait, I had a thought. You can see if someone has herpes by telling them you have herpes and watching
01:33:49.680
their face and then being like, okay, just kidding. I don't. I mean, that's mean, but yeah,
01:33:56.480
that'll work. And then just being like, cause if they have it, they'll be like, oh, I have it too.
01:34:04.320
I had it. And that's cause a guy that, a guy that, um, had it, I interviewed,
01:34:08.720
he said that like that happened to him once where the girl told him and I was, and then he was like,
01:34:13.600
oh, that's okay. I have it too. And I'm like, that's a great way to go about it. Yeah. Gotcha.
01:34:20.320
I had a woman one time and she's like, yeah, uh, I just want to tell you, I may have herpes and I'm
01:34:26.320
like, you may have herpes. What does that mean? She's I took a test and, and it was inconclusive.
01:34:32.240
I said, is that a such thing? It is a such thing. That means she needs to retest.
01:34:47.920
Yeah. No, no, thanks. So. Okay. Cool. Well, thanks so much. Um, we'd loved if you ever free Friday,
01:34:55.680
seven to nine, we usually do Collins on STDs. So if you ever see a topic and it's relevant,
01:35:01.440
we'll definitely let you up. So thanks so much for calling in. I appreciate it.
01:35:09.920
Anyone else on the line or no? Nope. I guess no one wants to talk about
01:35:14.080
syphilis and hepatitis. Yeah. We might get a gynecologist on, on, um, in a couple of weeks,
01:35:19.840
guys, we had one, um, email me. And if, if you guys worked in the healthcare and you can prove to me
01:35:27.040
privately, you worked, I'd love to interview some healthcare professionals. Cause
01:35:31.120
you guys are the only ones with the real answers in my opinion. So. Um, okay. Well,
01:35:37.520
I think that's really it that we got for the show today. I'm Doug MPA. You got any final thoughts?
01:35:43.040
Um, talking to healthcare providers, it makes you want to live in a bubble, you know, like the
01:35:49.440
little medical bubbles. There's so much stuff out there, man. You gotta be careful. And you just,
01:35:57.200
you gotta avoid getting one of those gifts that keep on giving, man. Like you have to guys protect
01:36:03.040
yourselves and just assume that the, the, a lot of these women have something and just wrap it up,
01:36:08.640
guys. Come on. You gotta do it. Tom Micah used to say it back in the 2000s, wrap it up. And here's
01:36:14.480
the thing. If you start wrapping it up and you wrap it up all the time, you, you'll get used to it.
01:36:18.960
Just wrap it up guys. Yeah. But guys, don't worry. You could still get an STD. So you might as well
01:36:26.160
just go rocks. You can get one anyway. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Don't do that guys.
01:36:32.960
Yeah. It's like, yeah. Um, anyways, uh, my final thoughts are that's disgusting. Um,
01:36:45.440
but you can't have sex without the risk of STDs in 2025 because there's no virgin brides. So
01:36:51.680
I would just assume that everyone has something and that's the best way to protect yourself.
01:36:56.480
