Dogs and Wolves. On the surface, the dogs sound like a better bet. Dogs are friendlier. It's easier
00:00:15.000
to teach them tricks. They're more predictable. Well, the wolf, even the friendly wolf, always has
00:00:22.740
an edge of wild nature in him. You can't quite predict the wolf as well as you can the dog.
00:00:32.740
But have you ever seen a group of dogs left to their own devices without a human master
00:00:42.740
to take care of them? I have. And they are the most sad, pathetic, desperate and lonely
00:00:51.740
creatures you've ever seen. They start acting out. They're a company of other dogs. While
00:00:57.740
exciting at first, over the long run, just doesn't satisfy the poor beasts. They crave a master.
00:01:08.740
While the wolf, you take a group of wolves and put them in the same place, what do you get?
00:01:16.740
Civilization. Furthermore, you take a group of wolves and you give one of those wolves rabies.
00:01:32.740
The rest of the wolves will put that wolf down. While the dogs, they'll panic. They won't do
00:01:40.740
anything about it whatsoever. The wolf craves freedom. He's built for the wilderness. He is a wild animal.
00:01:56.740
And if you try and tell a dog about freedom, about pitting your skill and your strength against the wild elements,
00:02:05.740
come what may, the dog doesn't understand. The dog thinks that freedom is a biscuit from the hand of his master.
00:02:17.740
A world of endless biscuits is what the dog imagines freedom to be.
00:02:27.740
See, when you get right down to it, the dog is a degenerate slave race.
00:02:36.740
So what happens if you put a wolf into a pack of dogs?
00:02:44.740
Now, one wolf, one dog. One wolf, three dogs. The wolf's probably going to come out on top.
00:02:52.740
Create a pack of its own. Maybe a degenerate pack. Not as powerful as a true wolf pack.
00:02:58.740
But the wolf is going to come out on top. The dogs know that they don't have the strength to fight the wolf.
00:03:06.740
But when you put a wolf into a society of dogs, that wolf is smart enough to know that a hundred dogs will chew him to pieces.
00:03:20.740
And so you have a wolf skulking as if they're a dog, trying to blend in to this degenerate dog society and not draw attention.
00:03:32.740
Sometimes the wolf will internalize this rage at this submission, at having to be submissive to these vile, incompetent mutts.
00:03:45.740
Other times it will acquire a mental disorder. It'll start behaving erratically. It'll start suffering from depression.
00:03:58.740
Because dogs are dogs. And wolves are not meant to fit in with them.
00:04:08.740
So for all you wolves out there, don't let this society bring you down.
00:04:19.740
You're about to decide this way and get like that.
00:04:20.740
So you're about to know the dogs you will be making up.
00:04:26.740
You're going to increase the needs of your dog.
00:04:29.740
So it's also not allowed to start dealing with narrative accidents.
