00:00:00.000 The worst sort of hypocrite is the man who chooses his beliefs for the sake of personal convenience.
00:00:12.000 Imagine the coward that suddenly finds reason to be against the current war.
00:00:21.000 Imagine the church boy that demands his wife obey him out of piousness, but utterly lacks the virility to truly lead her or satisfy her in the manner of a husband.
00:00:37.000 Imagine the man who hates his mother, and thus insists that women by their very nature are untrustworthy.
00:00:50.000 See, the normal hypocrite espouses a standard that they themselves fail to live up to, but it is nonetheless a standard which is admirable in and of itself.
00:01:07.000 The hypocrite who chooses their beliefs to bolster and bulwark their own weaknesses not only leads themselves astray, but encourages a great multitude of others into great personal folly.
00:01:28.000 Now, this is my first video where I'm going to be analyzing the recent debate, conversation, dumpster fire between Sticks, Hex, and Hammer, Sargon Picard, and Richard Spencer.
00:01:47.000 Now, in that debate, you had three men advocating three different positions.
00:01:53.000 One of them was advocating the point that our biggest problem in the present-day world is the sheer massive growth of government,
00:02:02.000 and that nothing can get accomplished, and that nothing can get accomplished because every which way you turn,
00:02:06.000 there's a regulator and a lobbyist and a bylaw preventing you from getting stuff done.
00:02:15.000 Another of them was advocating that what matters the most is personal liberty, freedom of speech, freedom of property, freedom of conscience,
00:02:27.000 that this is what makes Western civilization great.
00:02:32.000 The third of them was arguing that what matters is identity, culture, understanding who we are so we can understand where we're going.
00:02:47.000 And if you just look at the debate as those three points, you might walk away saying,
00:02:53.000 well, they're all right. Why are they even arguing? We need every single one of those things if we have any hope of surviving into the future.
00:03:05.000 But see, that's not what the conversation was about.
00:03:08.000 Because of those three men, one of them, I believe, came to his beliefs through a process of analysis, of logic, of rationality,
00:03:22.000 and even self-criticism.
00:03:27.000 The other two arrived at their beliefs for the sake of convenience.
00:03:34.000 Now, in this video, I'm going to be talking about Sargon of Akkad.
00:03:38.000 I'm going to be talking about why, regardless of what he espouses, it's not who he is.
00:03:45.000 And who he is, is deeply hypocritical, is deeply fallacious, and if you follow him, it's going to lead you on the path to ruin.
00:03:59.000 Now, the debate itself, in my opinion, is not worth listening to.
00:04:04.000 It's four hours long, and if you cut out all the parts where people were speaking over one another,
00:04:10.000 or just making grandiose, meaningless statements, you would divide it by a half, if not a quarter.
00:04:18.000 But it is very telling, in that if you pay attention to what's being said,
00:04:22.000 it tells you a lot about the characters of the men involved.
00:04:27.000 The first hour of the debate involved Sargon of Akkad demanding that Richard Spencer give a specific definition of what race is,
00:04:39.000 defining what the white race is in particular.
00:04:43.000 Which is absurd. It's absurd of saying, where is the line between the forest over here and the plains over there?
00:04:54.000 Where is the line, specifically?
00:04:58.000 Where is the gene, as Crowden T might say?
00:05:02.000 The thing is that race is an idea that gets blurry at the edges, the same way with color.
00:05:07.000 Color gets blurry at the edges, and yet we still have red and we still have blue.
00:05:12.000 We have the forest, and we have the plains.
00:05:15.000 Where specifically you draw the line on the map is something that can be debated,
00:05:19.000 and there might be very interesting conversations there.
00:05:22.000 But it certainly doesn't mean that forests and plains don't exist.
00:05:28.000 Now here's the thing.
00:05:31.000 Sargon knows race exists.
00:05:35.000 He has admitted on many occasions that race exists.
00:05:39.000 He knows it.
00:05:41.000 His objection to Richard Spencer was not that Richard Spencer was positing some imaginary quality.
00:05:48.000 His problem came out during the second hour of the debate,
00:05:54.000 when he said,
00:05:56.000 as soon as you provide a descriptive,
00:06:00.000 it becomes a prescriptive.
00:06:03.000 Now, Richard Spencer brushed this aside, which is disingenuous on his part.
00:06:14.000 But we're not talking about him.
00:06:15.000 We're talking about Sargon right now.
00:06:18.000 Sargon knows that race exists.
00:06:22.000 And yet he objects to it being described,
00:06:25.000 because once it is described, it will become prescribed.
00:06:32.000 You see, my father once said to me,
00:06:34.000 Irenis have a strong sense of justice.
00:06:39.000 He said this in response to something I said,
00:06:44.000 describing a very strong point on a matter of justice.
00:06:49.000 And you see, this description of the Irenis as valuing justice became prescriptive for me.
00:06:59.000 That justice is something I should value if I'm going to be a true Ireni.
00:07:04.000 This doesn't just happen with race, of course, or family.
00:07:10.000 The Army is full of tough guys.
00:07:12.000 The Navy is full of disciplined gentlemen.
00:07:16.000 And the Air Force is full of cool guys.
00:07:19.000 Every single one of those descriptions immediately becomes prescriptive.
00:07:24.000 If you're the Army, then you'd better be tough.
00:07:29.000 If you're in the Air Force, I guess you'd better get some aviators.
00:07:31.000 If you're an Ireni, you'd better have a strong sense of justice.
00:07:35.000 And you'd better not balk from it.
00:07:39.000 And this goes with races as well.
00:07:43.000 Italians are expected to be good lovers.
00:07:45.000 And the French are supposed to be good at baking.
00:07:48.000 Blacks are supposed to have rhythm.
00:07:51.000 Asians are hard workers.
00:07:54.000 Et cetera ad nauseam.
00:08:01.000 Now, of course, you can have positive or negative descriptions for every race.
00:08:08.000 But again, that was not Carl Benjamin's objection.
00:08:13.000 It was not that some races lack positive definitions.
00:08:18.000 Because if that is a problem, then maybe we should find some positive definitions.
00:08:23.000 Something to live up to.
00:08:24.000 No, no, that's not his complaint at all.
00:08:29.000 His complaint was having a prescription in the first place.
00:08:38.000 Who is Carl Benjamin?
00:08:41.000 Who is the Sargon of Akkad that proclaims that 18th century Germany was not part of Western civilization?
00:08:52.000 Because Western civilization is nothing but classical liberalism.
00:08:57.000 Who is this man that so celebrates the freedom of the individual?
00:09:01.000 Well, Mr. Benjamin is the grandson of a black man.
00:09:15.000 Which is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.
00:09:19.000 There is a great deal of pride to be found in your heritage, whatever it might be.
00:09:23.000 But he is the grandson of a black man.
00:09:30.000 And even though you would mistake him for being completely British, or at least mostly,
00:09:36.000 in his own mind, he is always that outsider.
00:09:42.000 His grandmother is not a woman that fell in love with a man of another race.
00:09:46.000 His mother, his grandmother, is a mud shark.
00:09:54.000 Carl Benjamin is a man who married a woman with two women from a previous marriage.
00:10:03.000 My wife's sons.
00:10:06.000 And thus far, he has no children that I know of with his wife.
00:10:10.000 He is a man who once said,
00:10:15.000 He is too good to show up on time and punch the clock in the morning.
00:10:20.000 He'd rather live on welfare.
00:10:26.000 Carl Benjamin is a man that demands personal freedom.
00:10:31.000 Because freedom means no accountability.
00:10:35.000 The science fiction author, John C. Wright, once commented that libertarianism works great for Christian bachelors during peacetime.
00:10:53.000 You take away any one of those elements, and libertarianism begins to fall apart.
00:10:59.000 Christian.
00:11:02.000 Because libertarianism only works for societies that embrace Christian principles.
00:11:09.000 The golden rule.
00:11:11.000 That if you don't have your own accountability,
00:11:14.000 if you are not accountable to yourself and God,
00:11:17.000 then libertarianism lets you get away with running for EX scams.
00:11:21.000 And we have seen this in Western civilization.
00:11:24.000 As the moral character declines, we move further and further away from a libertarian society.
00:11:30.000 Bachelors.
00:11:32.000 Because it's one thing to say,
00:11:34.000 I have the freedom to do whatever I want, and I don't care what my neighbor does.
00:11:38.000 It's another thing when you're raising children.
00:11:40.000 Because all of a sudden, you don't have freedom.
00:11:43.000 And what your neighbor is doing suddenly does concern you quite a bit.
00:11:51.000 And finally, peacetime.
00:11:54.000 Because in peacetime, we need to make hard decisions.
00:11:57.000 We might need to abandon a bit of territory, and that territory might include your house.
00:12:04.000 And if you don't go along with the plan, your house will be a useful means of egress for the enemy to attack the rest of us.
00:12:13.000 Sacrifices must be made.
00:12:15.000 There must be this community spirit.
00:12:19.000 This is why, incidentally, every society that the anarcho-capitalists look to bring up,
00:12:26.000 every example of, look at this free society in history,
00:12:30.000 every single one of them fell.
00:12:33.000 Because although a good society full of Christians and bachelors during peacetime looks very libertarian,
00:12:45.000 you need a bit more than personal freedom.
00:12:47.000 But see, here's the really damning thing about Sargon Akkad.
00:12:54.000 It's that he's not truly a libertarian.
00:13:00.000 He finds it convenient to be a libertarian in a socialist society.
00:13:05.000 In a society which won't force him to work for a living.
00:13:14.000 In a society that won't force him to keep his word, otherwise he becomes a pariah.
00:13:21.000 In a society full of the depths of corruption which we have today,
00:13:28.000 it is very convenient for Carl Benjamin to be a libertarian.
00:13:34.000 Because nobody will ever call him on it.
00:13:39.000 But in his heart of hearts, he knows what he is.
00:13:45.000 He is a weakling and a coward and a layabout.
00:13:52.000 He is deracinated.
00:13:54.000 He feels no pride in being British.
00:13:56.000 He denounces the whole conception of the British people having pride.
00:14:02.000 Because in his mind, he is still the product of a mud shark.
00:14:11.000 He has no responsibility to bring children of his own into the world.
00:14:17.000 Or to serve as a good example for your children.
00:14:20.000 He is an atomized individual.
00:14:23.000 And you can't hold the atomized individual responsible.
00:14:28.000 And if being atomized individuals means that in 200 years,
00:14:36.000 that the descendants of the great men that built Western civilization,
00:14:41.000 if the descendants are completely marginalized,
00:14:44.000 if the descendants have gone extinct,
00:14:45.000 and they've been replaced with the jibber-jabberings of the most ignorant and prolific rabbits from the third world,
00:14:56.000 if the Sistine Chapel gets turned into a brothel in 200 years,
00:15:02.000 it doesn't matter because Carl Benjamin will be dead.
00:15:05.000 The last thing he wants to hear is that he has some responsibility.
00:15:14.000 The last thing he wants to hear is that he has been weak.
00:15:18.000 That he has made mistakes.
00:15:19.000 That he has been slothful.
00:15:22.000 And he needs to get his act together.
00:15:24.000 We all need to get our act together.
00:15:27.000 When you follow Sargon of Akkad,
00:15:38.000 he posts a video telling you that feminists are stupid.
00:15:43.000 But you knew this already.
00:15:45.000 You didn't gain anything from this video,
00:15:50.000 learning that feminists are stupid,
00:15:52.000 they have stupid performance art,
00:15:54.000 that the left is dumb and hypocritical.
00:15:56.000 You know all of this already.
00:15:58.000 What did you accomplish by watching this video,
00:16:03.000 by following all of this?
00:16:05.000 What did you gain?
00:16:09.000 What you gained was narcissistic supply.
00:16:12.000 What you gained was a pat on the back,
00:16:16.000 telling you that you are smart,
00:16:19.000 and so you don't have to do anything because of these feminists.
00:16:24.000 You can just keep advocating for more freedom
00:16:28.000 and more liberty without responsibility.
00:16:31.000 Which is how we got into this mess in the first place.
00:16:35.000 You know, Jordan B. Peterson, if he were to grace me with his company,
00:16:44.000 might point out that the sort of freedom that Sargon of Akkad promotes,
00:16:50.000 the sort of classical liberalism which he advocates for,
00:16:54.000 is that which we see in Pinocchio on Pleasure Island,
00:16:58.000 where the boys are allowed to play pool and smoke cigars
00:17:03.000 and drink beer until all hours of the morning,
00:17:07.000 as one by one they're turned into jackasses
00:17:10.000 to be put into boxes and carted away.
00:17:15.000 That is the freedom.
00:17:17.000 That is the folly which Sargon of Akkad is selling you.
00:17:21.000 The reason he hates the alt-right is not for their vices,
00:17:31.000 of which there are many.
00:17:33.000 The reason he hates the alt-right,
00:17:36.000 and for that matter the feminists,
00:17:38.000 is for their virtues.
00:17:40.000 Sargon wants to lead you down a path of folly,
00:17:51.000 because, well, they can't send all of us to hell, can they?
00:17:58.000 Trust me, they can.
00:18:00.000 Deus volc, folks!
00:18:06.000 Next time,
00:18:08.000 it'll be time for me to shit on the alt-right.
00:18:11.000 This is,
00:18:14.000 Burini, out.
