00:00:04.000 I think that one of the reasons or a couple of reasons why they chose Senator Slotkin is because she won a state in which Kamala Harris didn't during the same time frame by several points.
00:00:17.000 It is because she is from the Midwest and people believe that she appeals to American voters in a way that They think that the Democratic message was lacking this election.
00:00:31.000 She is somebody who comes from a national security background, so she can talk about that from a firsthand point.
00:00:38.000 And people believe that she's more down to earth.
00:00:40.000 I think the other really interesting thing about Senator Slockett is that she was actually among some of the Democrats to pretty early question the vitality of Joe Biden, question whether or not that should be the party leader, whether or not he should be on the ticket in a way that other folks didn't.
00:00:57.000 And so I think that she has a big platform today.
00:01:02.000 And, you know, it will be, you know, time will only tell whether or not she delivers or will.
00:01:06.000 Whether or not people like her message, but certainly, you know, this is an area for Democrats in which, you know, they don't have a real leader.
00:01:16.000 We just saw the Senate leave the chamber.
00:01:18.000 They are out of session now.
00:01:20.000 And this is live in Statuary Hall.
00:01:22.000 As you can see, it did not take long for the Senate to make its way over to Stat Hall.
00:01:28.000 J.D. Vance leading the charge of senators.
00:01:32.000 I also wanted to piggyback a little bit on what Jasmine was saying about Senator Slotkin.
00:01:36.000 She, you know, was first elected in 2018 as part of this.
00:01:40.000 A kind of national security democratic moms group with people like Abigail Spanberger, who left Congress and is now running for governor.
00:01:48.000 Right, former assistant defense secretary for the Obama administration.
00:01:51.000 Right, Slotkin, and also a former CIA analyst.
00:01:54.000 Spanberger, another former CIA officer.
00:01:57.000 Running for governor now in Virginia.
00:01:58.000 Right, and so, and Mikey Sherrill, who's a combat pilot, is also running for governor.
00:02:02.000 Running for governor of New Jersey.
00:02:04.000 New Jersey.
00:02:04.000 All Democrats.
00:02:05.000 Right, all Democrats, all women, all national security backgrounds, all moms.
00:02:08.000 You know, they're very...
00:02:09.000 They're dream candidates, and they were part of that big wave when the Democrats reclaimed the majority in 2018. And I think that what Democratic operatives are looking for is more of the same, if they can tap into that kind of imagery and also their expertise.
00:02:28.000 Well, it looks there like Angus King, the gentleman with the mustache right behind...
00:02:35.000 Right behind him is Rand Paul walking in with a senator from Washington State and Maggie Hassan from New Hampshire.
00:02:44.000 So it does look like they are doing the D and the R thing like they have done in the past here.
00:02:54.000 I would love to see some of these dynamics as you get down to the last bit.
00:03:01.000 It's almost like being picked last for a basketball game.
00:03:07.000 Some people are naturally very compatible.
00:03:11.000 And then sometimes you get stuck with somebody who you can't imagine ever having to want to take a photo with.
00:03:19.000 You're like, please don't film me.
00:03:20.000 I mean, it's interesting.
00:03:21.000 We just saw Senator Katie Britt of Alabama go past, and she obviously gave the rebuttal last year.
00:03:30.000 And that was, frankly, not a great moment for her.
00:03:34.000 I think that people did not receive it well.
00:03:36.000 It felt a little bit odd, her speaking, the way that she was speaking during it.
00:03:40.000 And if you could just hold that thought for two seconds, Jasmine Wright, let's listen to Speaker Johnson.
00:03:45.000 Thank you.
00:04:15.000 Thank you.
00:04:38.000 John Thune and Chuck Schumer just snuck by.
00:04:41.000 Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, Democrat.
00:04:43.000 J.D. Vance, the vice president, is in that mix.
00:04:46.000 He's shaking people's hands on the side.
00:04:48.000 John Barrasso, who is in the leadership.
00:04:50.000 For the Republicans, Dick Durbin, 80 years old, in the leadership there.
00:04:55.000 The gentleman in the gray hair in the back and the blue shirt.
00:04:59.000 He was just re-elected in 2020, and so he will be up.
00:05:04.000 In 26, if he runs again.
00:05:07.000 And there's J.D. Vance.
00:05:10.000 Jason Dick, you have been covering these, the people on the aisle.
00:05:16.000 What time do they get down there?
00:05:17.000 And the late Sheila Jackson Lee, Democrat from Texas, was famous for always being on the aisle, regardless of presidents.
00:05:25.000 I'd love to see that collection of photos.
00:05:27.000 But how long does it take if you're going to get on the aisle here?
00:05:31.000 To greet the president and everybody else.
00:05:33.000 Sometimes they get there very early, sometimes four or five hours early as soon as the security sweep is over.
00:05:40.000 It is a first-come, first-serve situation.
00:05:43.000 It's a little nerve-wracking to be that, but they want to position themselves, and whether they're Democrats or Republicans, they like those corner seats.
00:05:51.000 And there's Nancy Mace in the white dress, a Republican of South Carolina, talking to J.D. Vance.
00:05:59.000 Sometimes, I mean, it was a little lonely.
00:06:02.000 I mean, some of the other people who come to mind who get there very early, Elliot Engel, former Democrat from New York, Cynthia McKinney, a Democrat.
00:06:11.000 From Georgia.
00:06:12.000 And you'd hear about also just like small little bits of bonding, you know, sometimes for people who wouldn't necessarily spend a lot of time together, particularly, you know, Democrats and Republicans from different parts of the country and so forth.
00:06:27.000 And it is, you know, it's one of those quirky kind of rituals that makes covering Congress a lot of fun to know about.
00:06:37.000 These are things.
00:06:38.000 We've got some old photos in the Roll Call archive of people bringing newspapers and just reading them all day long, waiting for the president and people to start filling in.
00:06:49.000 And you can see the Joint Chiefs had come in.
00:06:52.000 There's Senator Scott behind J.D. Vance.
00:06:57.000 Byron Donalds running for governor of Florida as a Republican.
00:07:01.000 Big, big President Trump supporter on the campaign.
00:07:05.000 There's Chip Roy.
00:07:07.000 Republican of Texas who has been a supporter and been, you know, sometimes a little bit of an iconoclast.
00:07:13.000 There we go.
00:07:14.000 There we go.
00:07:14.000 That's a nice way.
00:07:15.000 Former snaver for Ted Cruz.
00:07:17.000 Jasmine Wright, you were talking about Senator Katie Britt last year.
00:07:21.000 Up to that rebuttal, she was chosen because she was seen as a rising star and potential VP pick.
00:07:27.000 Yeah, she was seen as a rising star.
00:07:29.000 She was seen as someone who had a great future ahead of her.
00:07:33.000 I would argue that she is still really in the mix.
00:07:36.000 She is one of the White House's most used senators, most talked to senators on the Hill.
00:07:43.000 So, you know, I mean, you know, I think that they, these...
00:07:46.000 If these rebuttals go poorly, obviously it's some bad PR, but it doesn't completely derail your entire career.
00:07:54.000 But certainly, I think after hers, there were a lot of questions about whether or not she would be a good person.
00:08:00.000 Do you see a lot of members?
00:08:01.000 By the way, we have been simulcasting on C-SPAN and C-SPAN 2. Now, we're going to say goodbye to our C-SPAN 2 viewers, and that will be completely sights and sounds.
00:08:13.000 So if you want just sights and sounds...
00:08:15.000 Stay with C-SPAN, too.
00:08:16.000 If you want to continue listening to our program, we'd love to have you stay with us.
00:08:22.000 Jasmine Wright of Notice, Jason Dick of Roll Call, will be here along with Greta Brawner, of course.
00:08:28.000 So I didn't mean to interrupt you there.
00:08:29.000 No, you're okay.
00:08:30.000 I want to say goodbye.
00:08:31.000 Yeah.
00:08:31.000 No, I think that they, you know, people question whether or not she'd be a good person to be Trump's number two.
00:08:36.000 But still, she has a very big role in the Senate and is well utilized, I think.
00:08:42.000 See who's in the chamber there?
00:08:44.000 Or up in the gallery, I should say.
00:08:47.000 That was Elon Musk, who has now arrived.
00:08:50.000 And we should be seeing Usha Vance, second lady, and Melania Trump shortly arriving in there as well.
00:08:59.000 Yeah, I have a sneaking suspicion that we are going to see a lot of Elon Musk throughout this speech as he sits next to Melania and next to...
00:09:10.000 The second lady up in the gallery.
00:09:14.000 Is that Tom Homan?
00:09:16.000 That is Tom Homan.
00:09:18.000 Do you see him at the White House from time to time?
00:09:20.000 Yes.
00:09:20.000 He gaggled twice with reporters there.
00:09:23.000 He often goes out to Pebble Beach along the cameras next to the White House that are typically out of the screen when they're doing things on the North Portico to go do.
00:09:35.000 TV hits with various different networks and comes and talks to the press.
00:09:39.000 He is very press friendly and very open to talking about The latest numbers that they've been able to accumulate through deportations, the fact that they would like more money from Congress to continue to do those wide-scale deportations, something that we know that Trump is going to ask Congress for again today, really trying to not just get money for deportations, but get money for a larger border security package.
00:10:09.000 There's Mark Warner, John Bozeman.
00:10:12.000 Newton Calista Gingrich, former speaker, is up in the gallery as well.
00:10:21.000 And you can see that we have extra cameras on the floor of the House when we have shots like this.
00:10:27.000 Usually the House of Representatives controls the cameras, but on special occasions they give the press pool.
00:10:36.000 The C-SPANs, the CNNs, etc.
00:10:38.000 Like multiple speaker votes, for instance.
00:10:41.000 Yes.
00:10:42.000 Yeah, there were several extra cameras.
00:10:44.000 And, of course, there's Speaker Pelosi.
00:10:46.000 It looks like a Ukraine-colored flag or scarf in her hand.
00:10:51.000 And Steny Hoyer with a Ukraine-designed or Ukraine-colored tie, the former leaders of the House Democrats.
00:11:03.000 John Bozeman is right there in the center of your screen.
00:11:06.000 He's a Republican from Arkansas working his way down.
00:11:09.000 There's Mark Warner, Democrat of Virginia, former governor of Virginia.
00:11:12.000 Right behind him, Elizabeth Warren, Democrat of Massachusetts.
00:11:16.000 The Senate still has not gotten seated.
00:11:19.000 We've been watching them come down the aisle for quite a while.
00:11:22.000 Hakeem Jeffries and Debbie Dingell.
00:11:25.000 Debbie Dingell's husband, John Dingell, the late John Dingell, was the Dean of the House from Dearborn, Michigan, for years and years and years, and now she's been in Congress for years.
00:11:35.000 And, of course, Hakeem Jeffries is the leader of the Democratic Party.
00:11:39.000 Jasmine Wright, do you see a lot of members coming through at the White House?
00:11:43.000 You actually do.
00:11:44.000 Sometimes they, particularly in the first few weeks, they would come into the press briefing after an unannounced meeting with the president because they said, you know, I hadn't been here in four years.
00:11:57.000 I wasn't invited the entire time that Joe Biden was in office.
00:12:00.000 And so they were really excited to be in there, to be back into the Oval Office, really, frankly, to be back into power.
00:12:08.000 I think, you know, the...
00:12:10.000 The president has been really adamant about having these members of Congress come over to the White House.
00:12:17.000 It's one of the...
00:12:19.000 Biggest tools that the president can use, kind of not just the power of the pulpit there, but really bringing lawmakers on Air Force One, bringing them into the Oval, allowing them into the grandness of the White House so that in turn they can give you kind of this legislative freedom to do what you will and to make your agenda become a reality.
00:12:42.000 And so I think that is what Donald Trump is using.
00:12:44.000 But we know tomorrow the House Freedom Caucus, Chip Roy, we saw him a few moments ago.
00:12:49.000 They will be going to the White House as Trump tries to pull them along.
00:12:54.000 Lindsey Graham, who we see on the screen right now, he was at the White House on Friday.
00:12:59.000 He came out to the sticks to talk to reporters after the Zelensky blow-up and kind of started, at least publicly, rolling the tires on whether or not there should be a regime change in Ukraine.
00:13:12.000 Obviously, that language has kind of softened in the last, really, like three hours.
00:13:18.000 I believe that's Lisa Murkowski coming up on the screen.
00:13:22.000 It looks like, is that Senator Smith in front of her?
00:13:25.000 Yes, Tina Smith and Catherine Cortez Masto, and he was with Ben Ray Lujan from New Mexico.
00:13:33.000 Lisa Murkowski was.
00:13:34.000 Yes.
00:13:35.000 Lisa Murkowski has been somebody who, you know, moves to the hurl.
00:13:40.000 Should we go with his word, iconoclastic?
00:13:42.000 Yes.
00:13:43.000 There's Cash Patel, FBI Director Cash Patel down there.
00:13:47.000 He's in the gallery, it looks like.
00:13:49.000 He's up in the gallery.
00:13:50.000 There's Ivanka.
00:13:52.000 That was Ivanka, I believe.
00:13:53.000 Was that Ivanka?
00:13:53.000 Yeah, I think that was Ivanka.
00:13:55.000 And there's Mrs. Vance.
00:13:57.000 And you can see the Vice President and the Speaker waiting for everything to happen.
00:14:01.000 Just looking at the schedule that we were given ahead of time, it looks like they are running just a few minutes late, but all is well.
00:14:08.000 And that's Tiffany.
00:14:09.000 There's Tiffany Trump, I believe.
00:14:11.000 Donald Jr. Right behind her.
00:14:12.000 Yeah, the whole family is up there.
00:14:15.000 Hey, let's check in with Greta Brawner.
00:14:16.000 Hi, Greta.
00:14:17.000 Peter, you've pointed out a couple members of the president's cabinet tonight.
00:14:22.000 One you will not see is the Veterans Affairs Secretary, Doug Collins.
00:14:27.000 He is the designated survivor tonight, per the White House official by CNN's Caitlin Collins, reporting that, the designated survivor.
00:14:36.000 Skips out on these joint addresses, the State of the Unions, in case of a catastrophic event.
00:14:43.000 And so tonight it is the VA Secretary, Doug Collins, who will not be in the chamber.
00:14:49.000 And then you were talking about those folks that line up on the center aisle.
00:14:54.000 Billy House of Bloomberg noting that the great center aisle seat claimers of the past.
00:14:59.000 Elliott Engel, the late Sheila Jackson Lee, Michelle Bachman.
00:15:03.000 They're not there tonight, but a new group has appeared to be already getting in place.
00:15:08.000 This was hours ago at 4 p.m.
00:15:10.000 Eastern Time.
00:15:11.000 They were getting in place along the center aisle, and that included Representative Anna Paulina Luna, Republican of Florida, other Republicans, Andy Ogles of Kentucky, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, and Congresswoman Miller Meeks of Iowa, all lining up on the Republican side on the center aisle hours before the speech in hopes that they get to shake the president's hand when he comes down the aisle.
00:15:36.000 Jason Dick, has this become more of a blown-up event than it used to be?
00:15:44.000 Or has this always been a lot of, you know, razzmatazz?
00:15:48.000 I think that, I mean, it depends on how far back you want to go.
00:15:52.000 I mean, Lyndon Johnson in 1966 moved the speech from the mid-afternoon to the evening.
00:15:57.000 You know, like, in order to catch a better audience.
00:16:00.000 And that was 1966. I mean, he saw that, you know, television helped his predecessor, John F. Kennedy, get elected.
00:16:07.000 And he wanted, you know, Linda Johnson.
00:16:10.000 The members of the committee on the part of the House to escort the President of the United States into the chamber.
00:16:14.000 The following.
00:16:15.000 The gentleman from Louisiana, Mr. Scalise.
00:16:18.000 The gentleman from Minnesota, Mr. Emmer.
00:16:21.000 The gentlewoman from Michigan, Mrs. McClain.
00:16:23.000 The gentleman from North Carolina, Mr. Hudson.
00:16:26.000 The gentleman from Pennsylvania, Mr. Reschenthaler.
00:16:29.000 The gentleman from Utah, Mr. Moore.
00:16:31.000 The gentleman from Indiana, Mrs. Houchen.
00:16:34.000 The gentleman from Oklahoma, Mr. Hearn.
00:16:37.000 The gentleman from New York, Mr. Jeffries.
00:16:39.000 The gentleman from Massachusetts, Ms. Clark.
00:16:42.000 The gentleman from California, Mr. Aguilar.
00:16:45.000 The gentleman from California, Mr. Liu.
00:16:47.000 The gentleman from Colorado, Mr. Neguse.
00:16:50.000 The gentleman from Washington, Ms. Delbine.
00:16:53.000 The gentleman from Michigan.
00:16:55.000 Mrs. Dingell.
00:16:57.000 The President of the Senate, at the direction of that body, appoints the following senators as members of the committee on the part of the Senate to escort the President of the United States into the House chamber.
00:17:09.000 The Senator from South Dakota, Mr. Thune.
00:17:12.000 The Senator from Wyoming, Mr. Barrasso.
00:17:15.000 The Senator from Arkansas, Mr. Cotton.
00:17:18.000 The Senator from Oklahoma, Mr. Lankford.
00:17:20.000 The Senator from West Virginia, Mrs. Capito.
00:17:24.000 The Senator from South Carolina, Mr. Scott.
00:17:27.000 The Senator from New York, Mr. Schumer.
00:17:29.000 The Senator from Illinois, Mr. Durbin.
00:17:32.000 The Senator from Minnesota, Ms. Klobuchar.
00:17:35.000 The Senator from New Jersey, Mr. Booker.
00:17:38.000 The Senator from Wisconsin, Ms. Baldwin.
00:17:42.000 The members of the Escort Committee will exit the chamber through the lobby doors.
00:17:47.000 Thank you.
00:19:02.000 The penguin doesn't know it.
00:19:04.000 The penguin doesn't know it.
00:19:05.000 He dresses up okay.
00:19:07.000 My wife loves this person.
00:19:16.000 I hate it.
00:19:17.000 She doesn't know it.
00:19:19.000 She doesn't know it.
00:19:20.000 And we're about 5, 10 minutes away from the president entering the chamber and beginning 10 minutes away from the president entering the chamber and beginning his Jasmine Wright, Jason Dick, we've been watching this.
00:19:44.000 Chatting amongst ourselves, is there anything that we can share that we were talking about?
00:19:49.000 I think one thing that I'm noticing is a difference between the way that former Vice President Harris and Speaker Mike Johnson We're talking last year versus now.
00:20:01.000 I mean, it's so much more jovial with Vice President Vance and Speaker Johnson than it was.
00:20:07.000 It's so much more kind of homeboy.
00:20:09.000 These people know each other and they're kind of on the same side.
00:20:12.000 It's just interesting to watch the differences, you know, just a year.
00:20:16.000 Would you call Harrison Johnson formal?
00:20:19.000 Chief Justice and Associate Justices of the United States Supreme Court.
00:20:23.000 That's great.
00:20:24.000 Thank you.
00:21:01.000 Good evening, everybody.
00:21:16.000 Welcome to episode 106 of Loomer Unleashed.
00:21:19.000 I'm your host, Laura Loomer.
00:21:21.000 Tonight, we're just going to have a live stream, carried coverage of President Trump's address to Congress.
00:21:27.000 This is President Trump's first address to Congress.
00:21:30.000 It's not a State of the Union.
00:21:31.000 It's rather an address.
00:21:33.000 And so we're looking forward to seeing what President Trump has to say.
00:21:37.000 He put out a little teaser on True Social a couple days ago saying that tune in for a big surprise because he was going to tell it like it is.
00:21:44.000 And so you're really not going to hear me doing a lot of commentary because I find it to be incredibly obnoxious when you're trying to watch the president speak and people are, you know, adding in their commentary and talking over.
00:21:56.000 So this stream is just going to be a place for you to watch President Trump speak tonight.
00:22:02.000 It's on X.
00:22:03.000 It's also on Rumble.
00:22:04.000 If you're watching on Rumble, be sure that you go to rumble.com slash Laura Loomer, rumble.com slash Laura Loomer.
00:22:10.000 Happy Mardi Gras, by the way.
00:22:12.000 I just got back from New Orleans.
00:22:13.000 I spent the weekend in New Orleans, so I had a great time and was down on Bourbon Street and...
00:22:20.000 Did the whole thing.
00:22:21.000 Got a lot of beads, ate a lot of food, had a really nice time.
00:22:25.000 So happy Mardi Gras to all of you.
00:22:27.000 Hope if you live in the New Orleans or Alabama panhandle area that you had a good time if you were celebrating.
00:22:37.000 I know I had a good time.
00:22:39.000 Rumble.com slash Laura Loomer.
00:22:41.000 Rumble.com slash Laura Loomer.
00:22:43.000 Loomer Unleashed GC contributor Charles Downs just sent me video of President Trump's motorcade.
00:22:48.000 We have that video on my X account, so it should begin momentarily.
00:22:53.000 I know that they said that they're running about 10 minutes behind or so.
00:22:57.000 President Trump's motorcade, if you go to my X account, you can see there's the motorcade passing by.
00:23:09.000 If you are watching live, like I said before, we are live on X and Rumble.
00:23:14.000 And before we get started, I want to take a moment to thank the sponsor of tonight's live coverage of Bloomer Unleashed and also the live coverage of President Trump's address to Congress.
00:23:24.000 And that, of course, is Kirk Elliott's precious metals.
00:23:28.000 Don't let the green agenda tick you off and put you into a tailspin when you can take advantage of it.
00:23:34.000 There is one commodity that is needed for solar power, battery power for electric vehicles, nuclear power, and it's a vital component in missiles, torpedoes, and aerospace.
00:23:44.000 Silver is needed for all of that, and recent developments are creating an insurmountable problem for all of these industries.
00:23:51.000 Physical silver is running out, and when it runs out, these manufacturers will pay almost any price and simply pass it on to the consumer or the taxpayer.
00:23:59.000 What if you were that person that owned what they are going to need?
00:24:03.000 You can be that person by calling Kirk Elliott Precious Metals today to purchase physical silver.
00:24:08.000 I've chosen to partner with Kirk Elliott Precious Metals because Dr. Kirk cares about you, he's trustworthy, honest, and he educates you before you make a purchase to make sure it's the right purchase and decision for you.
00:24:18.000 He only deals with low-cost bullion that doesn't carry high premiums.
00:24:22.000 And what I love is that physical metals can even be placed in your IRA.
00:24:25.000 So be sure that you call Dr. Kirk at 720-605-3900 or schedule an appointment by visiting kepm.com slash Lumer.
00:24:35.000 KEPM.com slash Lumer.
00:24:37.000 They made a nice little landing page here for the Lumer Unleashed viewers.
00:24:40.000 Bye.
00:24:41.000 Check out Kirk Elliott Precious Metals today.
00:24:43.000 Again, that number is 720-605-3900 or visit kepm.com slash Loomer.
00:24:52.000 Let's go back to the split screen here.
00:24:54.000 We have J.D. Vance, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson awaiting right behind the podium there for President Trump's arrival.
00:25:05.000 We can go ahead and just put the audio on.
00:25:07.000 We're expected to see President Trump drive home his America First agenda and talk about the achievements.
00:25:15.000 You can go ahead and mute it.
00:25:20.000 We'll just get the B-roll up on the screen.
00:25:23.000 But we can expect President Trump to not only talk about promises made, promises kept, and everything that he and his administration and his team have accomplished over the last seven weeks since he was sworn in as the 47th president.
00:25:38.000 But we can also expect the president to talk about the efforts with Doge and his desire to...
00:25:48.000 Cut waste, fraud, and abuse and his plans to expose this with Elon Musk and the Democrats' obstruction to exposing waste, fraud, and abuse.
00:25:57.000 So I'm sure that we're going to hear President Trump talk about the new minerals deal with Ukraine that was just announced today.
00:26:05.000 After a very contentious meeting with Zelensky at the White House just a few days ago where their luncheon was canceled and Zelensky was actually thrown out.
00:26:15.000 We have Nancy Pelosi there.
00:26:16.000 Let's go ahead and get that up on the screen.
00:26:18.000 Nancy Pelosi sitting next to Steny Hoyer.
00:26:22.000 That's what I really love.
00:26:23.000 I love watching all of the videos of the members of Congress piling in because you just get to see all the scowls on their face and you get to see who's happy to be the...
00:26:34.000 Excuse me, who's happy to be there and who is not happy to be there?
00:26:42.000 Let's see who do we have coming in now.
00:26:45.000 Colsey Gabbard, Melania Trump, Oh, we have First Lady Melania Trump.
00:27:01.000 Let's go ahead and put the audio back on.
00:27:03.000 Alania, Trump was expected to bring members of Corey Comparatori's family with her as Cory Comparatori of course is the firefighter who tragically lost his life in Butler, Pennsylvania.
00:27:30.000 She also is Expected to have Jocelyn Nungarai's mother, the mother of that poor, innocent young girl who was raped and killed by illegal aliens.
00:27:41.000 How much she would be in Washington, how frequently she'd be around.
00:27:46.000 But I think that there's a real shift in energy, not just from the president, but also from her office.
00:27:51.000 It wouldn't be an address without self-aggrandizing, self-centered conservative influencers to fill the chamber.
00:28:01.000 Oh, here we go.
00:28:02.000 President Trump's cabinet has arrived.
00:28:03.000 Marco Rubio, Scott Besant, Ed Hegseth, and Blondie. Ed Hegseth, and Blondie.
00:28:24.000 Thank you.
00:28:31.000 And now the cabinet is coming in.
00:28:33.000 Secretary of State Rubio, Secretary of the Treasury Besant.
00:28:37.000 We saw there, as well, Attorney General, Pam Bondi, Pete Hegseth was there.
00:28:47.000 Mr. Lutnick, the Commerce Secretary who we talked about a little bit earlier.
00:28:52.000 RFK Jr., of course, HHS. There's Scott Turner.
00:28:57.000 HUD. There's Seth.
00:29:02.000 Duffy.
00:29:03.000 I'm so sorry.
00:29:04.000 Sean Duffy.
00:29:06.000 Transportation.
00:29:08.000 There's Senator Adam Schiff.
00:29:10.000 Sitting with a senator from...
00:29:15.000 Yep.
00:29:20.000 The new senator from Delaware.
00:29:22.000 Lisa Blunt, Rochester.
00:29:23.000 Let's go full screen.
00:29:27.000 We had Carol from Illinois.
00:29:32.000 Carol.
00:29:33.000 Mosley Braun.
00:29:35.000 We have Angela Alsobrooks, Maryland.
00:29:39.000 Kamala Harris was the second.
00:29:40.000 Kamala Harris, of course, and then Lisa Blatt Rochester.
00:29:45.000 Interchangeably three or two.
00:29:47.000 And there's Kristi Noem, who's talking there with the, is that the congressman from New Jersey, Jeff?
00:29:54.000 No, that's Tim Burchett from Tennessee.
00:29:56.000 There we go.
00:29:56.000 Is that Brooke Rollins, the ag secretary?
00:30:09.000 It is sort of odd to have something like this with, I mean, there's so much we're paying attention to the fashion because of some of the protests and so forth, having just done the Oscars two nights ago.
00:30:23.000 It's not quite as glamorous.
00:30:25.000 Not quite the same.
00:30:26.000 Not quite the same.
00:30:28.000 But there is a lot more power.
00:30:30.000 I would simply say...
00:30:32.000 Jason Dick that nobody in the world cares what you or I are wearing.
00:30:37.000 Last year, Joe Biden took at least a half hour to get out of the chamber.
00:30:50.000 It was a moment for him, politically, that boosted him.
00:30:56.000 That got rid of some of the rumors of mental decline, etc.
00:31:01.000 Work that room for a half an hour.
00:31:03.000 It's one of the most, in a sense, iconic things I've ever seen in politics.
00:31:08.000 And do we expect President Trump to do the same?
00:31:12.000 I don't know.
00:31:14.000 He likes to chat.
00:31:15.000 I don't know if President Trump will be there as long.
00:31:18.000 I mean, in that span, Joe Biden had like two hot mic moments that went viral.
00:31:23.000 I mean, he was there for forever.
00:31:24.000 I don't know if we expect President Trump to be there that long.
00:31:27.000 But the reality is that, as I've talked to people close to him, He is enjoying this moment.
00:31:33.000 He's happy to be back in the White House.
00:31:35.000 He's happy to have a party that responds to him, that respects him.
00:31:39.000 And he's happy, you know, back to being the center of everything.
00:31:43.000 And so I think you're going to see him show that happiness, shaking hands with his friends, shaking hands, potentially people who don't like him very much, Democrats, you know, kind of pushing them to say something, potentially.
00:31:59.000 He's kind of reveling in this moment that he has now that he's back in the White House.
00:32:04.000 And so I think he is going to be there a long time.
00:32:07.000 Whether or not he's there as long as Joe Biden, I think only time will tell.
00:32:10.000 Because Joe Biden, I mean, I remember being there, I mean, being, you know, covering it last year and being like, dang, can you leave?
00:32:16.000 I'm trying to go home.
00:32:18.000 It did have an end of the night at your high school reunion type fight.
00:32:24.000 Wrap it up, Joe.
00:32:26.000 We'll see.
00:32:27.000 We'll see what Donald Trump does.
00:32:29.000 I would guess, too, that some of that is, there's a little bit of wistfulness, like that Biden was running for re-election, but who knows what kind of doubts he may have had about his own path.
00:32:44.000 And this is like a beginning, as opposed to sort of an end, even if it seems like we've been in this loop for a while.
00:32:50.000 Yeah, you can see that the cabinet is still not completely seated.
00:32:55.000 And they're not going to bring him in while there's still people in the aisles, but he is nearby.
00:33:00.000 He's in the holding room next to the chamber and should be coming in shortly.
00:33:05.000 Just want to remind our viewers, obviously we're going to shut up as soon as the president gets in there.
00:33:09.000 We're going to listen to everything that happens.
00:33:11.000 We'll watch the president leave the room all without us.
00:33:15.000 There's Tulsi Gabbard, of course, talking with Chip Roy.
00:33:17.000 Kelly Loeffler of the SBA. Yeah, that's right.
00:33:20.000 Former senator from Georgia.
00:33:25.000 I talked to a lot of people.
00:33:26.000 I don't know if that's saying anything.
00:33:28.000 I talked to Jeff Van Drew.
00:33:30.000 I wonder if it was a conversation about fluoride.
00:33:33.000 Who knows?
00:33:34.000 I guess Jeff Van Drew is a dentist.
00:33:36.000 Is he really?
00:33:37.000 Did not know that.
00:33:38.000 Did not know that.
00:33:40.000 Yeah, I mean, RFK is having quite the moment right now, too, with this measles outbreak kind of going back and forth between.
00:33:47.000 Whether or not he should be promoting vaccines, whether or not he should be promoting more homeopathic remedies that aren't necessarily shown to have much weight against a measles outbreak.
00:34:02.000 I would be interested to see if Donald Trump brings that up.
00:34:06.000 I'd be a little shocked if he does, but...
00:34:09.000 Again, the entire speech, of course, and the Democratic response.
00:34:16.000 Senator Alyssa Slotkin, freshman Democrat from Michigan, will be speaking from Michigan, and we will bring that to you live, of course.
00:34:26.000 You can expect, you know, as they're talking about now on C-SPAN as well, Democrat Senator from the state of Michigan, Alyssa Slocken, who was a CIA analyst and worked for the government and the Bush administration and worked for who was a CIA analyst and worked for the government and the Bush administration and worked She is going to be the individual who gives the counter address to President Trump's address tonight.
00:34:52.000 Loomer Unleashed confronted her many times on the campaign trail this last election season.
00:34:57.000 If you recall, Alyssa Slocken was for open borders.
00:35:00.000 She supported open borders.
00:35:02.000 She refused to answer our questions when we asked her about the deadly flow of fentanyl into our country and why she's supporting open borders when it's allowing for so much fentanyl to pour into our nation.
00:35:13.000 She endorsed and campaigned for Kamala Harris in Michigan.
00:35:17.000 So, you know, the Democrats are really struggling right now to find their voice and to find their...
00:35:21.000 Their stance.
00:35:23.000 Post-mandate.
00:35:25.000 Because we saw that President Trump had a resounding victory.
00:35:28.000 We took the Senate.
00:35:30.000 We kept the House.
00:35:31.000 And now the Democrats are struggling.
00:35:33.000 They're flailing around and they're having a very hard time figuring out how to effectively message.
00:35:40.000 But that's the problem, is they don't really have any effective messaging.
00:35:43.000 Their new strategy is just to complain and protest about President Trump and Elon Musk on a daily basis.
00:35:49.000 So the Democrats are going to have to change up their strategy sometime soon if they plan on winning elections in the near future.
00:35:55.000 We'll cut back.
00:36:00.000 You had the audio.
00:36:06.000 But, yeah, I think that tariffs are going to be a large part of this.
00:36:09.000 For viewers who are seeing a State of the Union or a joint session for the first time, on your screen, the Republicans will be on the left, and the Democrats will be on the right, so you can always tell what the applause lines are by which side stands up, and it gets pretty stark at them, doesn't it?
00:36:26.000 It absolutely does.
00:36:28.000 And, I mean, another thing that I'm looking for, in addition to just some of the policy notes that we're looking at, Is just how the Democrats are going to approach things that they feel are a winner for them.
00:36:42.000 Whether it's something...
00:36:44.000 If Trump does talk about tariffs, he does talk about how great they are.
00:36:49.000 We're seeing, again, as you mentioned, Jasmine, the market does not like them.
00:36:53.000 The Wall Street Journal editorial page doesn't like them.
00:36:56.000 This is kind of across the board.
00:36:58.000 And the economy, over and over again, came up as the number one issue people are worried about.
00:37:03.000 But he's also going to go for some base issues, you know, like transgender issues.
00:37:08.000 How is that going to be?
00:37:10.000 You know, how is that going to be?
00:37:11.000 Here we go.
00:37:14.000 Mr. Speaker, the President of the United States.
00:37:20.000 Here we go.
00:37:22.000 President Trump has arrived.
00:37:23.000 Let's cut full screen.
00:37:24.000 Thank you.
00:42:34.000 Thank you very much.
00:42:48.000 Thank you very much.
00:42:50.000 It's a great honor.
00:42:51.000 Thank you very much.
00:42:52.000 Speaker Johnson, Vice President Vance, the First Lady of the United States.
00:43:00.000 Members of the United States, Congress,
00:43:29.000 Thank you very much.
00:43:31.000 And to my fellow citizens, America is back.
00:43:36.000 USA!
00:44:02.000 USA! USA! USA! USA!
00:44:02.000 Six weeks ago, I stood beneath the dome of this Capitol and proclaimed the dawn of the Golden Age of America.
00:44:12.000 From that moment on, it has been nothing but swift and unrelenting action to usher in the greatest and most successful era in the history of our country.
00:44:24.000 We have accomplished more in 43 days than most administrations.
00:44:30.000 accomplished in four years or eight years and we are just getting started
00:44:54.000 I returned to this chamber tonight to report that America's momentum is back our spirit is back our pride is back our confidence is back and the American dream is surging bigger and better than ever before
00:45:16.000 The American dream is unstoppable, and our country is on the verge of a comeback the likes of which the world has never witnessed and perhaps We'll never witness again.
00:45:28.000 There's never been anything like it.
00:45:34.000 The presidential election of November 5th was a mandate like has not been seen in many decades.
00:45:43.000 We won all seven swing states, giving us an electoral college victory of 312 votes.
00:45:51.000 We won the popular vote by big numbers and won counties in our country.
00:46:05.000 We won the popular vote by big numbers and one counties in our country -- -- and one counties in our country, 2,000
00:46:10.000 USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!
00:46:26.000 people in the country, and one counties in our country, 2,700 to 525
00:46:40.000 2,700 to 525 on a map that reads almost completely red for Republican.
00:46:56.000 Now for the first time in modern history, more Americans believe that our country is headed in the right direction than the wrong direction.
00:47:06.000 The most astonishing record, 27-point swing, the most ever.
00:47:24.000 Likewise, small business optimism saw its single largest one-month gain ever recorded.
00:47:33.000 A 41-point jump.
00:47:40.000 Members are directed to uphold and maintain decorum in the House and to cease any further disruptions.
00:47:47.000 That's your warning.
00:47:49.000 Members are engaging and willful in continuing breach of decorum, and the chair is prepared to direct the sergeant at arms to restore order to the joint session.
00:48:03.000 Mr. Green, take your seat. take your seat.
00:48:27.000 Take your seat, sir.
00:48:29.000 Take your seat.
00:48:34.000 Finding that members continue to engage in willful and concerted disruption of proper decorum, the chair now directs the sergeant-at-arms to restore order.
00:48:44.000 Remove this gentleman from the chamber.
00:48:46.000 Good time.
00:48:49.000 Hi there.
00:48:50.000 Good time.
00:49:18.000 Members are directed to uphold and maintain the quorum in the House.
00:49:25.000 Mr. President, you continue.
00:49:27.000 Thank you.
00:49:29.000 Over the past six weeks, I have signed nearly 100 executive orders and taken more than 400 executive actions, a record, to restore common sense, safety, optimism, and wealth all across our wonderful land.
00:49:45.000 The people elected me to do the job, and I'm doing it.
00:50:09.000 In fact, it has been stated by many that the first month of our presidency, it's our presidency, is the most successful in the history of our nation. .
00:50:24.000 by many and what makes it even more impressive is that you know who number two is George Washington.
00:50:42.000 How about that?
00:50:43.000 I don't know about that list, but we'll take it.
00:50:48.000 Within hours of taking the oath of office, I declared a national emergency on our southern border, and I deployed the U.S. military and border patrol to repel the invasion of our country.
00:51:02.000 And what a job they've done.
00:51:03.000 As a result, illegal border crossings last month were by far the lowest ever recorded, ever.
00:51:12.000 They heard my words and they chose not to come.
00:51:30.000 Much easier that way.
00:51:32.000 In comparison, under Joe Biden, the worst president in American history, there were hundreds of thousands of illegal crossings a month, and virtually all of them, including murderers, drug dealers, gang members, and people from mental institutions and insane asylums, were released into our country.
00:51:55.000 Who would want to do that?
00:51:57.000 This is my fifth such speech to Congress.
00:52:01.000 And once again, I look at the Democrats in front of me and I realize there is absolutely nothing I can say to make them happy or to make them stand or smile or applaud.
00:52:13.000 Nothing I can do.
00:52:14.000 I could find a cure to the most devastating disease, a disease that would wipe out entire nations or announce the answers to the greatest economy in history.
00:52:27.000 Or the stoppage of crime to the lowest levels ever recorded.
00:52:32.000 And these people sitting right here will not clap, will not stand, and certainly will not cheer for these astronomical achievements.
00:52:41.000 They won't do it, no matter what.
00:52:43.000 Five times I've been up here.
00:52:46.000 It's very sad.
00:52:48.000 And it just shouldn't be this way.
00:52:50.000 So Democrats sitting before me, for just this one night, why not join us in celebrating so many incredible wins for America?
00:53:18.000 America.
00:53:19.000 For the good of our nation, let's work together and let's truly make America great again.
00:53:41.000 Every day my administration is fighting to deliver the change America needs to bring a future that America deserves.
00:53:52.000 And we're doing it.
00:53:53.000 This is a time for big dreams and bold action.
00:53:57.000 Upon taking office, I imposed an immediate freeze on all federal hiring, a freeze on all new federal regulations, and a freeze on all foreign aid.
00:54:09.000 I terminated the ridiculous Green News scam I withdrew from the unfair Paris Climate Accord, which was costing us trillions of dollars that other countries were not paying.
00:54:33.000 I withdrew from the Corrupt World Health Organization.
00:54:42.000 And I also withdrew from the anti-American U.N. Human Rights Council.
00:54:48.000 We ended all of Biden's environmental restrictions that were making our country far less safe and totally unaffordable.
00:55:02.000 And importantly, we ended the last administration's insane electric vehicle mandate, saving our auto workers and companies from economic destruction.
00:55:25.000 To unshackle our economy, I have directed that for every one new regulation, ten old regulations must be eliminated, just like I did in my very successful first just like I did in my very successful first day.
00:55:49.000 On that first term, we set records on ending unnecessary rules and regulations like no other president had done before.
00:55:57.000 We ordered all federal workers to return to the office.
00:56:01.000 They will either show up for work in person or be removed from their job.
00:56:06.000 And we've ended weaponized government where, as an example, a sitting president is allowed to viciously a sitting president is allowed to viciously prosecute his political opponent like me.
00:56:29.000 How did that work out?
00:56:31.000 Not too good.
00:56:33.000 Not too good.
00:56:34.000 Thank you.
00:56:47.000 And I have stopped all government censorship and brought back free speech in America.
00:56:53.000 back.
00:56:54.000 And two days ago, I signed an order making English the official language of the United States of America.
00:57:10.000 I renamed the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America.
00:57:34.000 And likewise, I renamed for a great president, William McKinley, Mount McKinley again.
00:57:42.000 Beautiful Alaska.
00:57:48.000 I love Alaska.
00:57:49.000 Thank you.
00:57:51.000 We've ended the tyranny of so-called diversity, equity and inclusion policies all across the entire federal government and indeed the private sector and our military.
00:58:07.000 And our country will be woke no longer.
00:58:12.000 We believe that whether you are a doctor, an accountant, a lawyer, or an air traffic controller, you should be hired and promoted based on skill or an air traffic controller, you should be hired and promoted based on skill and competence, Very important.
00:58:36.000 You should be hired based on merit.
00:58:47.000 And the Supreme Court, in a brave and very powerful decision, has allowed us to do so.
00:58:53.000 Thank you.
00:58:54.000 Thank you very much.
00:58:58.000 We have removed the poison of critical race theory from our public schools, and I signed an order making it the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders, male and female.
00:59:14.000 I also signed an executive order to ban men from playing in women's
00:59:32.000 sports. .
00:59:48.000 Three years ago, Peyton McNabb was an all-star high school athlete, one of the best, preparing for a future in college sports.
00:59:57.000 But when her girls' volleyball match was invaded by a male, he smashed the ball so hard in Peyton's face, causing traumatic brain injury, partially paralyzing her right side and ending her athletic career.
01:00:13.000 It was a shot like she's never seen before.
01:00:17.000 She's never seen anything like it.
01:00:20.000 Peyton is here tonight in the gallery, and Peyton, from now on, schools will kick.
01:00:25.000 the men off the girls team, or they will lose all federal funding.
01:00:30.000 And
01:00:57.000 if you really want to see numbers, just take a look at what happened in the women's boxing, weightlifting, track and field, swimming or cycling, where a male recently finished a long distance race, five hours and 14 minutes ahead of a woman for a new record by five hours and 14 minutes ahead of a woman for a new Broke the record by five hours.
01:01:20.000 It's demeaning for women, and it's very bad for our country.
01:01:23.000 we're not going to put up with it any longer.
01:01:26.000 What I have just described is only a small fraction of the common sense revolution that is now, because of us, sweeping the entire world.
01:01:50.000 Common sense has become a common theme, and we will never go back.
01:01:56.000 Never.
01:01:57.000 Ever going to let that happen.
01:02:02.000 Among my very highest priorities is to rescue our economy and get dramatic and immediate relief to working families.
01:02:11.000 As you know, we inherited from the last administration an economic catastrophe and an inflation nightmare.
01:02:20.000 Their policies drove up energy prices, pushed up grocery costs, and drove the necessities of life out of reach for millions and millions of Americans.
01:02:31.000 They've never had anything like it.
01:02:33.000 We suffered the worst inflation in 48 years, but perhaps even in the history of our country.
01:02:40.000 They're not sure.
01:02:41.000 As president, I'm fighting every day to reverse this damage and make America affordable again.
01:02:48.000 Joe Biden especially let the price of eggs get out of control.
01:03:06.000 The egg price is out of control.
01:03:11.000 And we're working hard to get it back down.
01:03:15.000 Secretary, do a good job on that.
01:03:17.000 You inherited a total mess from the previous administration.
01:03:20.000 Do a good job.
01:03:21.000 A major focus of our fight to defeat inflation is rapidly reducing the cost of energy.
01:03:36.000 The previous administration cut the number of new oil and gas leases by 95%, slowed pipeline construction to a halt, and closed more than 100 power plants.
01:03:49.000 We are opening up many of those power plants right now.
01:03:53.000 And frankly, we have never...
01:04:04.000 Seen anything like it.
01:04:07.000 That's why on my first day in office, I declared a national energy emergency.
01:04:17.000 As you've heard me say many times, we have more liquid gold under our feet than any nation on Earth, and by far.
01:04:25.000 And now, I fully authorize the most talented team ever assembled to go and get it.
01:04:31.000 It's called...
01:04:32.000 Drill, baby, drill.
01:04:35.000 My administration is also working on a gigantic natural gas pipeline in Alaska, among the largest in the world, where Japan, South Korea, and other nations want to be our partner with investments of trillions of dollars each.
01:05:03.000 There's never been anything like that one.
01:05:05.000 It will be truly spectacular.
01:05:06.000 It's all set to go.
01:05:08.000 The permitting is gotten.
01:05:09.000 And later this week, I will also take historic action to dramatically expand production of critical minerals and rare earths here in the USA. To further combat inflation,
01:05:34.000 we will not only be reducing the cost of energy, but we'll be ending the flagrant waste of taxpayer dollars.
01:05:41.000 And to that end, I have created the brand new Department of Government Efficiency.
01:05:57.000 Thank you.
01:05:58.000 Goj!
01:05:59.000 Perhaps you've heard of it.
01:06:01.000 Perhaps.
01:06:02.000 Which is headed by Elon Musk,
01:06:12.000 who is in the gallery tonight. . who is in the gallery tonight. .
01:06:32.000 Thank you, Elon.
01:06:33.000 He's working very hard.
01:06:34.000 He didn't need this.
01:06:35.000 He didn't need this.
01:06:37.000 Thank you very much.
01:06:39.000 We appreciate it.
01:06:39.000 Everybody here, even this side, appreciates it, I believe.
01:06:45.000 They just don't want to admit that.
01:06:48.000 Just listen to some of the appalling waste we have already identified.
01:06:54.000 $22 billion from HHS to provide free housing and cars for illegal aliens.
01:07:03.000 $45 million for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
01:07:09.000 $40 million to improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants.
01:07:16.000 Nobody knows what that is.
01:07:20.000 $8 million to promote LGBTQI +, in the African nation of Lesotho, which nobody has ever heard of.
01:07:31.000 $60 million for indigenous peoples and Afro-Colombian empowerment in Central America.
01:07:40.000 $60 million. $8 million for making mice transgender.
01:07:47.000 This is real.
01:07:50.000 $32 million for a left-wing propaganda operation in Moldova.
01:07:56.000 $10 million for male circumcision in Mozambique.
01:08:02.000 $20 million for...
01:08:04.000 The Arab Sesame Street in the Middle East.
01:08:08.000 It's a program.
01:08:09.000 $20 million for a program.
01:08:12.000 $1.9 billion to recently created decarbonization of Homes Committee.
01:08:19.000 Head it up.
01:08:21.000 And we know she's involved.
01:08:22.000 Just at the last moment, the money was passed over by a woman named Stacey Abrams.
01:08:29.000 Have you ever heard of her?
01:08:32.000 A $3.5 million consulting contract for lavish fish monitoring.
01:08:39.000 $1.5 million for voter confidence in Liberia.
01:08:45.000 $14 million for social cohesion in Mali.
01:08:49.000 $59 million for illegal alien hotel rooms in New York City.
01:08:57.000 He's a real estate developer.
01:08:59.000 He's done very well.
01:09:00.000 $250,000 to increase vegan local climate action innovation in Zambia.
01:09:08.000 $42 million for social and behavior change in Uganda.
01:09:14.000 $14 million for improving public procurement in Serbia.
01:09:19.000 $47 million for improving learning outcomes in Asia.
01:09:25.000 Asia's doing very well with learning.
01:09:28.000 You know what we're doing.
01:09:30.000 We should use it ourselves.
01:09:32.000 $101 million for DEI contracts at the Department of Education.
01:09:38.000 The most ever paid, nothing even like it.
01:09:42.000 Under the Trump administration, all of these scams, and they're far worse, but I didn't think it was appropriate to talk about them.
01:09:49.000 They're so bad.
01:09:50.000 Many more have been found out and exposed and swiftly terminated by a group of very intelligent, mostly young people.
01:09:58.000 Headed up by Elon, and we appreciate it, we found hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud.
01:10:05.000 And we've taken back the money and reduced our debt to fight inflation and other things.
01:10:27.000 Taking back a lot of that money.
01:10:29.000 We got it just in time.
01:10:31.000 This is just the beginning.
01:10:34.000 The Government Accountability Office, the federal government office, has estimated annual fraud of over $500 billion in our nation.
01:10:43.000 And we are working very hard to stop it.
01:10:46.000 We're going to.
01:10:47.000 We're also identifying shocking levels of incompetence and probable fraud in the social security program for our seniors.
01:10:57.000 And that our seniors and people that we love rely on.
01:11:01.000 Believe it or not, government databases list 4.7 million Social Security members from people aged 100 to 109 years old.
01:11:16.000 It lists 3.6 million people from ages 110. To 119. I don't know any of them.
01:11:26.000 I know some people that are rather elderly, but not quite that elderly.
01:11:30.000 3.47 million people from ages 120 to 129. 3.9 million people from ages 130 to 139. 3.5 million people.
01:11:51.000 From ages 140 to 149. And money is being paid to many of them.
01:11:59.000 And we're searching right now.
01:12:02.000 In fact, Pam, good luck.
01:12:05.000 Good luck.
01:12:06.000 You're going to find it.
01:12:07.000 But a lot of money is paid out to people because it just keeps getting paid and paid and nobody does.
01:12:14.000 And it really hurts.
01:12:16.000 Social Security, it hurts our country.
01:12:18.000 1.3 million people from ages 150 to 159 and over 130,000 people, according to the Social Security databases, are age over 160 years old.
01:12:37.000 We have a healthier country than I thought, Bobby.
01:12:41.000 Including, to finish, to finish, 1,039 people between the ages of 220 and 229.
01:13:05.000 One person between the age of 240 and 249.
01:13:10.000 And one person is listed at 360 years of age.
01:13:15.000 Thank you.
01:13:16.000 More than 100 years.
01:13:18.000 More than 100 years older than our country.
01:13:26.000 But we're going to find out where that money is going.
01:13:29.000 And it's not going to be pretty.
01:13:31.000 by slashing all of the fraud, waste, and theft we can find.
01:13:34.000 We will defeat inflation, bring down mortgage rates, lower car payments and grocery prices, protect our seniors, and put more money in the pockets of American families.
01:13:59.000 And today interest rates took a beautiful drop Big, beautiful drop.
01:14:04.000 It's about time.
01:14:05.000 And in the near future, I want to do what has not been done in 24 years.
01:14:12.000 Balance the federal budget.
01:14:14.000 We're going to balance it.
01:14:15.000 With that goal in mind, we have developed in great detail what we are calling the gold card, which goes on sale very, very soon
01:14:44.000 For $5 million, we will allow the most successful job creating people from all over the world to buy a path to U.S. citizenship.
01:14:54.000 It's like the green card, but better and more sophisticated.
01:14:59.000 And these people will have to pay tax in our country.
01:15:03.000 They won't have to pay tax from where they came.
01:15:05.000 The money that they've made, you wouldn't want to do that, but they have to pay tax, create jobs.
01:15:10.000 They'll also be taking people out of colleges and paying for them so that we can keep them in our country instead of having them being forced out.
01:15:19.000 Number one, at the top school, as an example, being forced out and not being allowed to stay and create tremendous numbers of jobs and great success for a company out there.
01:15:29.000 So while we take out...
01:15:31.000 The criminals, killers, traffickers, and child predators who are allowed to enter our country under the open-border policy of these people, the Democrats, the Biden administration, the open-border insane policies that you've allowed to destroy our country.
01:15:48.000 We will now bring in brilliant, hard-working job-creating people.
01:15:53.000 They're going to pay a lot of money and we're going to reduce our debt with that money.
01:16:00.000 Americans have given us a mandate for bold and profound change.
01:16:15.000 For nearly 100 years, the federal bureaucracy has grown until it has crushed our freedoms, ballooned our deficits, and held back America's potential in every possible way.
01:16:28.000 The nation founded by pioneers and risk-takers now drowns under millions and millions of pages of regulations and debt.
01:16:38.000 Approvals that should take 10 days to get, instead take 10 years, 15 years, and even 20 years before you're rejected.
01:16:48.000 Meanwhile, we have hundreds of thousands of federal workers who have not been showing up to work.
01:16:53.000 My administration will reclaim power from this unaccountable bureaucracy, and we will restore true democracy to America again.
01:17:02.000 And any federal bureaucrat who resists this change will be removed from office immediately.
01:17:22.000 Thank you, Julie.
01:17:24.000 Because we are draining the swamp.
01:17:27.000 It's very simple.
01:17:28.000 and the days of rule by unelected bureaucrats are over.
01:17:33.000 And the next phase of our plan to deliver the greatest economy in history is for this Congress to pass tax cuts for everybody.
01:18:00.000 They're in there.
01:18:01.000 They're waiting for you to vote.
01:18:03.000 And I'm sure that the people on my right, I don't mean the Republican right, but my right right here, I'm sure you're going to vote for those tax cuts because otherwise I don't believe the people will ever vote you into office.
01:18:16.000 So I'm doing a big favor by telling you that.
01:18:20.000 But I know this group is going to be voting for the tech.
01:18:23.000 Thank you.
01:18:38.000 It's a very, very big part of our plan.
01:18:40.000 We had tremendous success in our first term with it.
01:18:43.000 A very big part of our plan.
01:18:44.000 We're seeking permanent income tax cuts all across the board.
01:18:48.000 and to get urgently needed relief to Americans hit especially hard by inflation.
01:18:53.000 I'm calling for no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security benefits for our great seniors.
01:19:03.000 And I also want to make interest payments on car loans tax deductible, but only if the car is made in America.
01:19:29.000 Thank you.
01:19:40.000 And by the way, we're going to have growth in the auto industry like nobody's ever seen.
01:19:44.000 Plants are opening up all over the place.
01:19:46.000 Deals are being made.
01:19:47.000 Never seen.
01:19:48.000 That's a combination of the election win and tariffs.
01:19:51.000 It's a beautiful word, isn't it?
01:19:53.000 That, along with our other policies, will allow our auto industry to absolutely boom.
01:20:00.000 It's going to boom.
01:20:01.000 Spoke to the majors today, all three, the top people, and they're so excited.
01:20:06.000 In fact...
01:20:07.000 Already numerous car companies have announced that they will be building massive automobile plants in America, with Honda just announcing a new plant in Indiana, one of the largest anywhere in the world.
01:20:22.000 And this has taken place since our...
01:20:35.000 Great victory on November 5th, a date which will hopefully go down as one of the most important in the history of our country.
01:20:42.000 In addition, as part of our tax cuts, we want to cut taxes on domestic production and all manufacturing.
01:20:56.000 And just as we did before, we will provide 100% expensing.
01:21:01.000 It will be retroactive to January 20th, 2025. And it was one of the main reasons why our tax cuts were so successful in our first term, giving us the most successful economy in the history of our country.
01:21:17.000 First term.
01:21:18.000 We had a great first term.
01:21:19.000 If you don't make your product in America, however, under the Trump administration, you will pay a tariff, and in some cases, a rather large one, Other countries have used tariffs against us for decades, and now it's our turn to start using them against those other countries.
01:21:42.000 On average, the European Union, China, Brazil, India, Mexico, and Canada, have you heard of them?
01:21:51.000 And countless other nations charge us tremendously higher tariffs than we charge them.
01:21:58.000 It's very unfair.
01:21:59.000 India charges us auto tariffs higher than 100%.
01:22:04.000 China's average tariff on our products is twice what we charge them.
01:22:10.000 And South Korea's average tariff is four times higher.
01:22:13.000 Think of that four times higher.
01:22:16.000 And we give so much help militarily and in so many other ways to South Korea, but that's what happens.
01:22:22.000 This is happening by friend and foe.
01:22:25.000 This system is not fair to the United States and never was, and so on April 2nd, I wanted to make it April 1st, but I didn't want to be accused of April Fool's Day.
01:22:38.000 That's not...
01:22:40.000 Just one day cost us a lot of money.
01:22:43.000 But we're going to do it in April.
01:22:46.000 I'm a very superstitious person.
01:22:48.000 April 2nd, reciprocal tariffs kick in.
01:22:52.000 And whatever they tariff us, other countries, we will tariff them.
01:22:58.000 That's reciprocal, back and forth.
01:23:00.000 Whatever they tax us, we will tax them.
01:23:06.000 If they do non-monetary tariffs...
01:23:11.000 To keep us out of their market, then we will do non-monetary barriers to keep them out of our market.
01:23:19.000 There's a lot of that, too.
01:23:20.000 They don't even allow us in their market.
01:23:23.000 We will take in trillions and trillions of dollars and create jobs like we have never seen before.
01:23:30.000 I did it with China and I did it with others, and the Biden administration couldn't do anything about it because there was so much money they couldn't do anything about it.
01:23:38.000 We have been ripped off for decades by nearly every country on Earth, and we will not let that happen any longer.
01:23:46.000 Much has been said over the last three months about Mexico and Canada.
01:24:02.000 But we have very large deficits with both of them, but even more importantly, they've allowed fentanyl to come into our country at levels never seen before, killing hundreds of thousands of our citizens and many very young, beautiful people destroying families.
01:24:18.000 Nobody's ever seen anything like it.
01:24:20.000 They are, in effect, receiving subsidies of hundreds of billions of dollars.
01:24:25.000 We pay subsidies to Canada.
01:24:28.000 And to Mexico of hundreds of billions of dollars.
01:24:31.000 And the United States will not be doing that any longer.
01:24:35.000 We're not going to do it any longer.
01:24:41.000 Thanks to our America First policies we're putting into place, we have had $1.7 trillion of new investment in America in just the past few weeks.
01:24:52.000 The combination of the election...
01:24:56.000 And our economic policies that people of SoftBank, one of the most brilliant anywhere in the world, announced a $200 billion investment.
01:25:05.000 OpenAI and Oracle, Larry Ellison, announced $500 billion investment, which they wouldn't have done if Kamala had won.
01:25:17.000 Apple announced $500 billion investment.
01:25:25.000 He called me.
01:25:26.000 He said, I cannot spend it fast enough.
01:25:28.000 It's going to be much higher than that, I believe.
01:25:30.000 They'll be building their plants here instead of in China.
01:25:34.000 And just yesterday, Taiwan, semiconductor, the biggest in the world, most powerful in the world, has a tremendous amount, 97% of the market, announced a $165 billion investment to build the most powerful chips on Earth right here in the USA. We're
01:26:05.000 not giving them any money.
01:26:07.000 Your CHIPS Act is a horrible, horrible thing.
01:26:10.000 We give hundreds of billions of dollars, and it doesn't mean a thing.
01:26:14.000 They take our money and they don't spend it.
01:26:16.000 All that meant to them, we're giving them no money.
01:26:20.000 All that was important to them was they didn't want to pay the tariffs, so they came and they're building, and many other companies are coming.
01:26:26.000 We don't have to give them money.
01:26:28.000 We just want to protect our businesses and our people.
01:26:31.000 And they will come because they won't have to pay tariffs if they build in America.
01:26:35.000 So it's very amazing.
01:26:37.000 You should get rid of the CHIP Act.
01:26:39.000 And whatever's left over, Mr. Speaker, you should use it to reduce debt.
01:26:44.000 or any other reason you want to.
01:26:47.000 Our new trade policy will also be great for the American farmer.
01:27:03.000 I love the farmer.
01:27:07.000 Who will now be selling into our home market, the USA, because nobody is going to be able to compete with you.
01:27:17.000 Because those goods that come in from other countries and companies, they're really, really in a bad position in so many different ways.
01:27:30.000 Uninspected.
01:27:30.000 They may be very dirty and disgusting, and they come in and they pour in, and they hurt our American farmers.
01:27:37.000 The tariffs will go on agricultural product coming into America, and our farmers starting on April 2nd.
01:27:44.000 It may be a little bit of an adjustment period.
01:27:48.000 We had that before when I made the deal with China, $50 billion of purchases, and I said, just bear with me, and they did.
01:27:55.000 They did probably have to bear with me.
01:27:58.000 Again, and this will be even better.
01:28:00.000 That was great.
01:28:00.000 The problem with it was that Biden didn't enforce it.
01:28:04.000 He didn't enforce it.
01:28:05.000 $50 billion of purchases.
01:28:07.000 And we were doing great, but Biden did not enforce it.
01:28:10.000 And it hurt our farmers.
01:28:12.000 But our farmers are going to have a field day right now.
01:28:15.000 So to our farmers, have a lot of fun.
01:28:19.000 I love you, too.
01:28:20.000 I love you, too.
01:28:22.000 It's all gonna happen.
01:28:24.000 And I have also imposed a 25% tariff on foreign aluminum, copper, lumber and steel because if we don't have as an example steel and lots of other things, we don't lumber and steel because if we don't have as an example steel and lots of other things, we don't have a military and frankly won't
01:28:47.000 Here today is a proud American steelworker, fantastic person from Decatur, Alabama, Jeff Denard.
01:28:58.000 Has been working at the same steel plant for 27 years in a job that has allowed him to serve as the captain of his local volunteer fire department, raise seven children with his beautiful wife, Nicole, and over the years provide a loving home for more than 40 foster children.
01:29:17.000 So great, Jeff.
01:29:18.000 Thank you, Jeff.
01:29:28.000 Thank you, Jeff.
01:29:32.000 Thank you.
01:29:38.000 Stories like Jeff's remind us that tariffs are not just about protecting American jobs.
01:29:44.000 They're about protecting the soul of our country.
01:29:49.000 Tariffs are about making America rich again and making America great again.
01:29:54.000 And it's happening, and it will happen rather quickly.
01:29:56.000 There'll be a little disturbance, but...
01:30:00.000 We're okay with that.
01:30:01.000 It won't be much.
01:30:03.000 No, you're not.
01:30:07.000 And look where Biden took us.
01:30:10.000 Very low.
01:30:10.000 The lowest we've ever been.
01:30:12.000 Jeff, I want to thank you very much.
01:30:13.000 And I also want to recognize another person who has devoted herself to foster care community.
01:30:20.000 She worked so hard on it.
01:30:22.000 A very loving person.
01:30:23.000 our magnificent First Lady of the United States.
01:30:26.000 Melania's work has yielded incredible results, helping prepare our nation's future leaders as they enter the workforce.
01:30:53.000 Our First Lady is joined by two impressive young women, very impressive.
01:30:58.000 Haley Ferguson, who benefited from the First Lady's Fostering the Future initiative, and is poised to complete her education and become a teacher.
01:31:07.000 And Elliston Berry, who became a victim of an illicit, deepfake image-produced By a peer.
01:31:16.000 With Elliston's help, the Senate just passed the Take It Down Act.
01:31:22.000 And this is so important.
01:31:24.000 Thank you very much, John.
01:31:25.000 John Thune.
01:31:26.000 Thank you.
01:31:27.000 Stand up, John.
01:31:28.000 Thank you, John.
01:31:34.000 Thank you all very much.
01:31:36.000 Thank you.
01:31:42.000 Thank you.
01:31:44.000 And thank you to John Thune and the Senate.
01:31:47.000 Great job.
01:31:48.000 To criminalize the publication of such images online is a terrible, terrible thing.
01:31:55.000 And once it passes the House, I look forward to signing that bill into law.
01:32:01.000 Thank you.
01:32:01.000 And I'm going to use that bill for myself, too, if you don't mind.
01:32:05.000 Because nobody gets treated worse than I do online.
01:32:08.000 Nobody.
01:32:09.000 That's great.
01:32:10.000 Thank you very much to the Senate.
01:32:12.000 Thank you.
01:32:14.000 But if we truly care about protecting Americans' children, no step is more crucial than securing America's borders.
01:32:22.000 Over the past four years, 21 million people poured into the United States.
01:32:27.000 Many of them were murderers, human traffickers, gang members, and other criminals from the streets of dangerous cities all throughout the world because of Joe Biden's insane and very dangerous open border policies.
01:32:42.000 They are now strongly embedded in our country, but we are getting them out and getting them out fast.
01:32:50.000 And I want to thank Tom Holman and Chris DelPierre.
01:33:06.000 I want to thank you and Paul of Border Patrol.
01:33:09.000 I want to thank you.
01:33:10.000 What a job they've all done, everybody.
01:33:12.000 Border Patrol, ICE. Law enforcement in general is incredible.
01:33:16.000 We have to take care of our law enforcement.
01:33:19.000 After.
01:33:21.000 Last year, a brilliant 22-year-old nursing student named Lakin Riley, the best in her class, admired by everybody, the best in her class, admired by everybody, went out for a jog on the campus of the University of Georgia,
01:33:45.000 That morning, Lakin was viciously attacked, assaulted, beaten, brutalized, and horrifically murdered.
01:33:52.000 Lakin was stolen from us by a savage, illegal alien gang member who was arrested while trespassing across Biden's open southern border.
01:34:04.000 And then set loose into the United States under the heartless policies of that failed administration.
01:34:10.000 It was indeed a failed administration.
01:34:13.000 He had then been arrested and released in a Democrat-run sanctuary city, a disaster, before ending the life of this beautiful young angel.
01:34:25.000 With us this evening are Lakin's beloved mother, Allison, and her sister, Lauren.
01:34:30.000 Thank you.
01:34:55.000 Last year I told Lakin's grieving parents that we would ensure their daughter would not have died in vain.
01:35:03.000 That's why the very first bill I signed into law as your 47th president mandates the detention of all dangerous criminal aliens who threaten public safety.
01:35:16.000 It's a very strong, powerful act.
01:35:18.000 It's called the Lakin-Riley Act.
01:35:35.000 So Allison and Lauren America will never, ever forget our beautiful Lakin-Hope-Riley.
01:35:42.000 Thank you.
01:36:00.000 Thank you very much.
01:36:03.000 Since taking office, my administration has launched the most sweeping border and immigration crackdown in American history, and we quickly achieved the lowest numbers of illegal border crossers ever recorded.
01:36:19.000 Thank you.
01:36:20.000 The media and our friends in the Democrat Party kept saying we needed new legislation.
01:36:41.000 We must have legislation to secure the border.
01:36:44.000 But it turned out that all we really needed was a new president.
01:36:49.000 Thank you.
01:37:13.000 Joe Biden didn't just open our borders.
01:37:16.000 He flew illegal aliens over them to overwhelm our schools, hospitals and communities throughout the country.
01:37:23.000 Entire towns like Aurora, Colorado and Springfield, Ohio, buckled under the weight of the migrant occupation and corruption like nobody's ever seen before.
01:37:35.000 Beautiful towns destroyed.
01:37:37.000 Now, just as I promised in my inaugural address, we are achieving the great, great, great, great liberation of America.
01:37:45.000 But there still is much work to be done.
01:38:00.000 Here tonight is a woman I have gotten to know, Alexis Ngary from Houston.
01:38:07.000 Wonderful woman.
01:38:08.000 Last June, Alexis' 12-year-old daughter, her precious Jocelyn.
01:38:13.000 Walked to a nearby convenience store.
01:38:16.000 She was kidnapped, tied up, assaulted for two hours under a bridge and horrifically murdered.
01:38:23.000 Arrested and charged with this heinous crime are two illegal alien monsters from Venezuela released into America by the last administration through their ridiculous open border.
01:38:35.000 The death of this beautiful 12-year-old girl and the agony of her mother and family.
01:38:41.000 We touched our entire nation greatly.
01:38:44.000 Alexis, I promised that we would always remember your daughter, your magnificent daughter.
01:38:50.000 And earlier tonight, I signed an order keeping my word to you.
01:38:56.000 One thing I have learned about Jocelyn is that she loved animals so much.
01:39:01.000 She loved nature.
01:39:02.000 Across Galveston Bay, from where Jocelyn lived in Houston, you'll find a magnificent national wildlife.
01:39:11.000 Refuge.
01:39:12.000 A pristine, peaceful, 34,000-acre sanctuary for all of God's creatures on the edge of the Gulf of America.
01:39:23.000 Alexis, moments ago, I formally renamed that refuge in loving memory of your beautiful daughter, Jocelyn.
01:39:33.000 So, Mr. Vice President, if you would, may I have the order.
01:39:37.000 Thank you.
01:40:07.000 Thank you very much.
01:40:11.000 All three savages charged with Jocelyn and Lakin's murders were members of the Venezuelan prison gang, the toughest gang they say in the world, known as Tren de Aragua.
01:40:25.000 Two weeks ago, I officially designated this gang along with MS-13 and the bloodthirsty Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.
01:40:52.000 They are now officially in the same category as ISIS, and that's not good for them.
01:40:59.000 Thank you.
01:41:00.000 Countless thousands of these terrorists were welcomed into the U.S. by the Biden administration.
01:41:06.000 But now every last one will be rounded up and forcibly removed from our country, or, if they're too dangerous, put in jails, standing trial in this country, because we don't want them to come back ever.
01:41:21.000 With us this evening is a warrior on the front lines of that battle, Border Patrol Agent Roberto Ortiz.
01:41:29.000 Great guy.
01:41:55.000 In January, Roberto and another agent were patrolling by the Rio Grande, near an area known as Cartel Island.
01:42:05.000 Doesn't sound too nice to me.
01:42:07.000 When heavily armed gunmen started shooting at them, Roberto saw that his partner was totally exposed at great danger and he leapt into action, returning fire and providing crucial seconds for his fellow agent to Seek safety, and just barely.
01:42:26.000 I have some of the prints of that event, and it was not good.
01:42:32.000 Agent Ortiz, we salute you for your great courage and for your line of fire that you took and for the bravery that you showed.
01:42:42.000 We honor you, and we will always honor you.
01:42:44.000 Thank you, Roberto, very much.
01:42:46.000 Thank you, Roberto. Roberto.
01:43:04.000 And I actually got to know him on my many calls to the border.
01:43:09.000 He's a great, great gentleman.
01:43:12.000 The territory to the immediate south of our border is now dominated entirely by criminal cartels that murder, rape, torture and exercise total control.
01:43:22.000 They have total control over a whole nation, posing a grave threat to our national security.
01:43:29.000 The cartels are waging war on America, and it's time for America to wage war on the cartels, which we are doing.
01:43:36.000 Five nights ago, Mexican authorities, because of our tariff policies being imposed because of our tariff policies being imposed on them, think of this.
01:43:58.000 Handed over to us 29 of the biggest cartel leaders in their country.
01:44:04.000 That has never happened before.
01:44:06.000 They want to make us happy.
01:44:07.000 First time ever.
01:44:11.000 But we need Mexico and Canada to do much more than they've done, and they have to stop the fentanyl and drugs pouring into the USA. They're going to stop it.
01:44:24.000 I have sent Congress a detailed funding request laying out exactly how we will eliminate these threats to protect our homeland and complete the largest deportation operation in American history, larger even than current record holder, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, a moderate man, but someone who believed very strongly in borders.
01:44:47.000 Americans expect Congress to send me this funding without delay so I can sign it into law.
01:44:54.000 Mr. Speaker, John Thune, both of you, I hope you're going to be able to do that, Mr. Speaker.
01:45:00.000 Thank you.
01:45:01.000 Mr. Leader, thank you.
01:45:03.000 Thank you very much.
01:45:04.000 And let's get it to me.
01:45:05.000 me I'll sign it so fast you won't even believe it.
01:45:08.000 And as we reclaim our sovereignty, we must also bring back law and order to our cities and towns.
01:45:30.000 Thank you.
01:45:37.000 In recent years, our justice system has been turned upside down by radical left lunatics.
01:45:47.000 Many jurisdictions virtually seized enforcing the law against dangerous repeat offenders while weaponizing law enforcement against political opponents like me.
01:45:59.000 My administration has acted swiftly and decisively to restore fair, equal, and impartial justice under the constitutional rule of law, starting at the FBI and the DOJ. Pam, good luck.
01:46:16.000 Cash, wherever you may be, good luck.
01:46:19.000 Good luck.
01:46:21.000 Pam Bond.
01:46:23.000 Good luck.
01:46:25.000 So important.
01:46:26.000 You're going to do a great job.
01:46:28.000 Cash, thank you.
01:46:31.000 Thank you, Kesh.
01:46:33.000 They've already started very strongly.
01:46:45.000 They're going to do a fantastic job.
01:46:46.000 You're going to be very proud of them.
01:46:48.000 We're also once again giving our police officers the support, protection, and respect they so dearly deserve.
01:46:56.000 They have to get it.
01:46:57.000 They have such a hard, dangerous job, but we're going to make it less dangerous.
01:47:02.000 The problem is the bad guys don't respect the law, but they're starting to respect it, and they soon will respect it.
01:47:08.000 This also includes our great fire departments throughout the country.
01:47:12.000 Our firemen and women are unbelievable people, and I will never forget them.
01:47:17.000 And besides that, they voted for me in record numbers, so I have no chance.
01:47:21.000 One year ago this month, 31-year-old New York police officer Jonathan Diller, unbelievably wonderful person 31-year-old New York police officer Jonathan Diller, unbelievably wonderful person and a great officer, was gunned down at a traffic stop on Long Island I went to his funeral.
01:47:49.000 The vicious criminal charged with his murder had 21 prior arrests, and they were rough arrests.
01:47:56.000 He was a real bad one.
01:47:58.000 The thug in the seat next to him had 14 prior arrests and went by the name of Killer.
01:48:04.000 He was Killer.
01:48:05.000 He killed other people, they say, a lot of them.
01:48:07.000 I attended Officer Diller's service when I met his wife and one-year-old son, Ryan.
01:48:16.000 It was very inspirational, actually.
01:48:19.000 His widow's name is Stephanie, and she is here tonight.
01:48:22.000 Stephanie, thank you very much, Stephanie.
01:48:24.000 Thank you very much.
01:48:26.000 Stephanie, we're going to make sure that Ryan knows his dad was a true hero, New York's finest.
01:48:50.000 And we're going to get these cold-blooded killers and repeat offenders off our streets, and we're going to do it fast.
01:48:57.000 Got to stop it.
01:48:59.000 They get out with 28 arrests.
01:49:01.000 They push people into subway trains.
01:49:04.000 They hit people over the head, back of the head with baseball bats.
01:49:08.000 We got to get them out of here.
01:49:10.000 I've already signed an executive order requiring a mandatory death penalty for anyone who murders a police officer.
01:49:17.000 And tonight I'm asking Congress to pass that policy into permanent law.
01:49:22.000 I'm also asking...
01:49:37.000 For a new crime bill getting tough on repeat offenders while enhancing protections for America's police officers so they can do their jobs without fear of their lives being totally destroyed.
01:49:50.000 They don't want to be killed.
01:49:52.000 We're not going to let them be killed.
01:49:58.000 Joining us in the gallery tonight is a young man who truly loves our police.
01:50:04.000 His name is DJ Daniel.
01:50:05.000 Billy is 13 years old and he has always dreamed of becoming a police officer.
01:50:10.000 Thank you.
01:50:40.000 But in 2018, DJ was diagnosed with brain cancer.
01:50:55.000 The doctors gave him five months at most to live.
01:50:59.000 That was more than six years ago.
01:51:24.000 Since that time, DJ and his dad have been on a quest to make his dream come true, and DJ has been sworn in as an honorary law enforcement officer actually a number of times.
01:51:38.000 The police love him.
01:51:40.000 The police departments love him.
01:51:41.000 And tonight, D.J., we're going to do you the biggest honor of them all.
01:51:46.000 I am asking our new Secret Service Director.
01:51:50.000 Sean Curran to officially make you an agent of the United States Secret Service.
01:51:56.000 Thank you.
01:52:26.000 Thank you, DJ. DJ.
01:52:45.000 DJ's doctors believe his cancer likely came from a chemical he was exposed to when he was younger.
01:52:51.000 Since 1975, rates of child cancer have increased by more than 40 percent.
01:52:59.000 Reversing this trend is one of the top priorities for our new presidential commission to make America healthy again, chaired by our new Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. With
01:53:36.000 the name Kennedy, you would have thought everybody over here would have been cheering.
01:53:39.000 How quickly they forget.
01:53:42.000 Our goal is to get toxins out of our environment, poisons out of our food supply, and keep our children healthy and strong.
01:53:52.000 As an example, not long ago, and you can't even believe these numbers, one in 10,000 children had autism.
01:54:02.000 One in 10,000.
01:54:04.000 And now it's one in 36. There's something wrong.
01:54:09.000 1 in 36. Think of that.
01:54:11.000 So we're going to find out what it is, and there's nobody better than Bobby and all of the people that are working with you.
01:54:17.000 You have the best to figure out what is going on.
01:54:22.000 Okay, Bobby?
01:54:22.000 Good luck.
01:54:23.000 It's a very important job.
01:54:24.000 Thank you.
01:54:38.000 My administration is also working to protect our children from toxic ideologies in our A few years ago, January, little John and her husband discovered that their daughter's school had secretly socially transitioned their 13-year-old little girl.
01:54:56.000 Teachers and administrators conspired to deceive January and her husband while encouraging her daughter to use a new name and pronouns.
01:55:06.000 They, them pronoun, actually.
01:55:09.000 All without telling January, who is here tonight and is now a courageous advocate against this form of child abuse.
01:55:18.000 January, thank you.
01:55:19.000 Thank you.
01:55:20.000 Thank you very much.
01:55:22.000 Thank you.
01:55:36.000 Stories like this are why shortly after taking office, I signed an executive order banning public schools from indoctrinating our children with transgender ideology.
01:55:48.000 Thank you.
01:55:57.000 I also signed an order to cut off all taxpayer funding to any institution that engages in the sexual mutilation of our youth.
01:56:06.000 And now I want Congress to pass a bill permanently banning and criminalizing sex changes on children and forever ending the lie that any child is trapped in the wrong body.
01:56:27.000 This is a big line.
01:56:29.000 And our message to every child in America is that you are perfect exactly the way God made you.
01:56:42.000 Thank you.
01:56:56.000 Because we're getting wokeness out of our schools and out of our military, and it's already out, and it's out of our society.
01:57:04.000 We don't want it.
01:57:06.000 Wokeness is trouble.
01:57:08.000 Wokeness is bad.
01:57:09.000 It's gone.
01:57:11.000 It's gone.
01:57:12.000 And we feel so much better for it, don't we?
01:57:15.000 Don't we feel better?
01:57:20.000 Our service members won't be activists and...
01:57:24.000 Ideologues, they will be fighters and warriors.
01:57:27.000 They will fight for our country.
01:57:29.000 And Pete, congratulations.
01:57:31.000 Secretary of Defense, congratulations.
01:57:33.000 And he's not big into the woke movement, I can tell you.
01:57:47.000 I know him well.
01:57:49.000 I am pleased to report that in January the U.S. Army had its single best recruiting month in 15 years and that all armed services are having among the best recruiting results ever in the history of our services.
01:58:04.000 What a difference.
01:58:11.000 And you know it was just a few months ago where the results were exactly the opposite.
01:58:19.000 We couldn't recruit anywhere.
01:58:21.000 We couldn't recruit.
01:58:23.000 Now we're having the best results just about that we've ever had.
01:58:28.000 What a tremendous turnaround.
01:58:30.000 It's really a beautiful thing to see.
01:58:33.000 People love our country again.
01:58:35.000 It's very simple.
01:58:36.000 They love our country, and they love being in our military again.
01:58:39.000 So it's a great thing, and thank you very much.
01:58:41.000 Thank you so much.
01:58:42.000 Great job.
01:58:42.000 Thank you.
01:58:43.000 We're joined tonight by a young man, Jason Hartley, who knows the weight of that call of duty.
01:58:58.000 Jason's father, grandfather, and great-grandfather all wore the uniform.
01:59:04.000 Jason tragically lost his dad, who was also a Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy when he was just a boy, and now he wants to carry on the family legacy of service.
01:59:16.000 Jason is a senior in high school.
01:59:18.000 A six-letter varsity athlete, a really good athlete, they say.
01:59:22.000 a brilliant student with a 4.46, that's good, GPA.
01:59:26.000 And his greatest dream is to attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
01:59:34.000 And Jason, that's a very big deal getting in.
02:00:01.000 That's a hard one to get into.
02:00:03.000 But I'm pleased to inform you that your application has been accepted.
02:00:08.000 You will soon be joining the Corps of Kiddo.
02:00:11.000 Thank you.
02:00:41.000 Thank you.
02:00:42.000 Jason, you're going to be on the long gray line, Jason.
02:00:45.000 Thank you.
02:00:47.000 As Commander-in-Chief, my focus is on building the most powerful military of the future.
02:00:52.000 As a first step, I'm asking Congress to fund a state-of-the-art Golden Dome Missile Defense Shield to protect our homeland, all made in the USA. Wanted to do it long ago, but the technology just wasn't there, not even close.
02:01:20.000 But now we have the technology.
02:01:21.000 It's incredible, actually.
02:01:23.000 And other places, they have it.
02:01:26.000 Israel has it.
02:01:27.000 Other places have it.
02:01:29.000 And the United States should have it, too.
02:01:32.000 Right, Tim?
02:01:32.000 Right?
02:01:33.000 They should have it, too.
02:01:34.000 So I want to thank you.
02:01:35.000 But it's very, very important.
02:01:37.000 This is a...
02:01:38.000 Very dangerous world.
02:01:40.000 We should have it.
02:01:40.000 We want to be protected, and we're going to protect our citizens like never before.
02:01:45.000 To boost our defense industrial base, we are also going to resurrect the American shipbuilding industry including commercial shipbuilding and military shipbuilding.
02:01:57.000 And for that purpose, I am announcing tonight.
02:02:06.000 That we will create a new office of shipbuilding in the White House and offer special tax incentives to bring this industry home to America where it belongs.
02:02:15.000 We used to make so many ships.
02:02:17.000 We don't make them anymore very much, but we're going to make them very fast, very soon.
02:02:22.000 It will have a huge impact.
02:02:24.000 To further enhance our national security, my administration will be reclaiming the Panama Canal, and we've already started doing it.
02:02:41.000 Just today, a large American company announced they are buying both ports around the Panama Canal and lots of other things having to do with the Panama Canal and a couple of other canals.
02:02:55.000 The Panama Canal was built by Americans for Americans, not for others.
02:03:01.000 But others could use it.
02:03:03.000 But it was built at tremendous cost of American blood and treasure.
02:03:07.000 38,000 workers died.
02:03:10.000 Building the Panama Canal.
02:03:12.000 They died of malaria.
02:03:14.000 They died of snake bites and mosquitoes.
02:03:16.000 Not a nice place to work.
02:03:19.000 They paid them very highly to go there, knowing there was a 25% chance that they would die.
02:03:25.000 The most expensive project also that was ever built in our country's history, if you bring it up to modern-day costs.
02:03:33.000 It was given away by the Carter administration for $1.
02:03:37.000 But that agreement has been violated very severely.
02:03:40.000 We didn't give it to China.
02:03:43.000 We gave it to Panama, and we're taking it back.
02:03:50.000 And we have Marco Rubio in charge.
02:04:02.000 Good luck, Marco.
02:04:05.000 We know who to blame if anything goes wrong.
02:04:09.000 Marco's been amazing and he's going to do a great job.
02:04:12.000 Think of it.
02:04:13.000 He got a hundred votes.
02:04:17.000 You know, he was approved with actually 99, but the 100th was this gentleman and I feel very certain.
02:04:24.000 So let's assume he got a hundred votes and I'm either very, very happy about that or I'm very concerned about it.
02:04:32.000 He's already proven.
02:04:33.000 I mean, he's a great gentleman.
02:04:34.000 He's respected by everybody.
02:04:36.000 And we appreciate you voting for Marco.
02:04:38.000 He's going to do a fantastic job.
02:04:40.000 Thank you.
02:04:40.000 Thank you.
02:04:42.000 He's doing a great job.
02:04:48.000 Great job.
02:04:52.000 And I also have a message tonight for the incredible people of Greenland.
02:04:58.000 We strongly support your right to determine your own future.
02:05:03.000 And if you choose, we welcome you into the United States of America.
02:05:07.000 We need Greenland for national security and even international security.
02:05:11.000 And we're working with everybody involved to try and get it.
02:05:15.000 But we need it really for international world security.
02:05:19.000 And I think we're going to get it.
02:05:21.000 One way or the other, we're going to get it.
02:05:25.000 We will keep you safe.
02:05:27.000 We will make you rich and together.
02:05:30.000 We will take Greenland to heights like you have never thought possible before.
02:05:34.000 It's a very small population, but very, very large piece of land and very, very important for military security.
02:05:43.000 America is once again standing strong against the forces of radical Islamic terrorism.
02:05:49.000 Three and a half years ago, ISIS terrorists killed 13 American service members and countless others.
02:05:56.000 In the Abbey Gate bombing during the disastrous and incompetent withdrawal from Afghanistan.
02:06:03.000 Not that they were withdrawing.
02:06:05.000 It was the way they withdrew.
02:06:07.000 Perhaps the most embarrassing moment in the history of our country.
02:06:11.000 Tonight I am pleased to announce that we have just apprehended the top terrorist responsible for that atrocity.
02:06:19.000 And he is right now on his way here to face the swift...
02:06:24.000 sword of American justice.
02:06:25.000 And I want to thank especially the government of Pakistan for helping arrest this monster.
02:06:55.000 This was a very momentous day for those 13 families, who I actually got to know very well, most of them, whose children were murdered and the many people that were so badly, over 42 people, so badly injured on that fateful day in Afghanistan.
02:07:12.000 What a horrible day.
02:07:15.000 Such incompetence was shown.
02:07:18.000 That when Putin saw what happened, I guess he said, wow, maybe this is my chance.
02:07:24.000 That's how bad it was.
02:07:25.000 Should have never happened.
02:07:27.000 Grossly incompetent people.
02:07:29.000 I spoke to many of the parents and loved ones, and they're all in our hearts tonight.
02:07:38.000 Just spoke to them on the phone.
02:07:39.000 We had a big call.
02:07:41.000 Every one of them called, and everybody was on the line.
02:07:46.000 They did nothing but cry with happiness.
02:07:48.000 They were very happy, as happy as you can be under those circumstances.
02:07:52.000 Their child, brother, sister, son, daughter was killed for no reason whatsoever.
02:08:03.000 In the Middle East, we're bringing back our hostages from Gaza.
02:08:08.000 In my first term, we achieved one of the most groundbreaking peace agreements in generations, the Abraham Accords.
02:08:33.000 And now we're going to build on that foundation to create a more peaceful and prosperous future for the entire region.
02:08:41.000 A lot of things are happening in the Middle East.
02:08:42.000 People haven't been talking about that so much lately with everything going on with Ukraine and Russia.
02:08:48.000 A lot of things are happening in the Middle East.
02:08:51.000 It's a rough neighborhood, actually.
02:08:53.000 I'm also working tirelessly to end the savage conflict in Ukraine.
02:08:58.000 Millions of Ukrainians and Russians have been needlessly killed.
02:09:02.000 We're wounded in this horrific and brutal conflict.
02:09:05.000 With no end in sight, the United States has sent hundreds of billions of dollars to support Ukraine's defense.
02:09:16.000 with no security, with no anything.
02:09:20.000 Do you want to keep it going for another five years?
02:09:36.000 Yeah, you would say Pocahontas says yes.
02:09:39.000 Two thousand people are being killed every single week.
02:09:54.000 More than that.
02:09:57.000 They're Russian young people.
02:09:59.000 They're Ukrainian young people.
02:10:00.000 They're not Americans.
02:10:02.000 But I want it to stop.
02:10:04.000 Meanwhile, Europe has sadly spent more money buying Russian oil and gas than they have spent on defending Ukraine by far.
02:10:12.000 Think of that.
02:10:13.000 They've spent more buying Russian oil and gas than they have defending.
02:10:19.000 And we've spent perhaps $350 billion, like taking candy from a baby.
02:10:26.000 That's what happened.
02:10:27.000 And they've spent...
02:10:29.000 $100 billion.
02:10:30.000 What a difference that is.
02:10:32.000 And we have an ocean separating us, and they don't.
02:10:37.000 But we're getting along very well with them, and lots of good things are happening.
02:10:42.000 Biden has authorized more money in this fight than Europe has spent by billions and billions of dollars.
02:10:51.000 It's hard to believe that they wouldn't have stopped it and said, at some point, come on, let's equalize.
02:10:55.000 You've got to be equal to us.
02:10:57.000 But that didn't happen.
02:10:58.000 Earlier today, I received an important letter from President Zelensky of Ukraine.
02:11:04.000 The letter reads, Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer.
02:11:12.000 Nobody wants peace more than the Ukrainians, he said.
02:11:16.000 My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump's strong leadership to get a peace that lasts.
02:11:24.000 We do really value how much America has done to help Ukraine maintain its sovereignty and independence.
02:11:32.000 Regarding the agreement on minerals and security, Ukraine is ready to sign it at any time that is convenient for you.
02:11:41.000 I appreciate that he sent this letter.
02:11:44.000 Just got it a little while ago.
02:11:46.000 Simultaneously, we've had serious discussions with Russia.
02:11:50.000 And have received strong signals that they are ready for peace.
02:11:54.000 Wouldn't that be beautiful?
02:12:10.000 It's time to stop this madness.
02:12:19.000 It's time to halt the killing.
02:12:21.000 It's time to end this senseless war.
02:12:24.000 If you want to end wars, you have to talk to both sides.
02:12:28.000 Nearly four years ago, amid rising tensions, a history teacher named Mark Fogle was detained in Russia and sentenced to 14 years in a penal colony.
02:12:40.000 Rough stuff.
02:12:41.000 The previous administration...
02:12:44.000 Barely lifted a finger to help him.
02:12:46.000 They knew he was innocent, but they had no idea where to begin.
02:12:50.000 But last summer, I promised his 95-year-old mother, Malfin, that we would bring her boy safely back home.
02:13:00.000 After 22 days in office, I did just that, and they are here tonight.
02:13:05.000 Thank you.
02:13:35.000 Thank you.
02:13:40.000 To Mark and his great mom, we are delighted to have you safe and sound and with us.
02:13:53.000 As fate would have it, Mark Fogle was born in a small rural town in Butler, Pennsylvania.
02:14:01.000 Have you heard of it?
02:14:03.000 Where his mother has lived for the past 78 years.
02:14:08.000 I just happened to go there last July 13th for a rally.
02:14:14.000 That was not pleasant.
02:14:17.000 And that is where I met his beautiful mom right before I walked onto that stage.
02:14:24.000 And I told her I would not forget what she said about her son.
02:14:29.000 And I never did, did I? Never forgot.
02:14:32.000 Less than ten minutes later, at that same rally, gunfire rang out and a sick and deranged assassin unloaded eight bullets.
02:14:48.000 My life was saved by a fraction of an inch, but some were not so lucky.
02:14:56.000 Corey Comparator was a firefighter, a veteran, a Christian, a husband, a devoted father, and above all, a protector.
02:15:06.000 When the sound of gunshots pierced, the air was a horrible sound.
02:15:11.000 Corey knew instantly What it was and what to do.
02:15:16.000 He threw himself on top of his wife and daughters and shielded them from the bullets with his own body.
02:15:25.000 Tory was hit really hard.
02:15:28.000 You know the story from there.
02:15:31.000 He sacrificed his life to save theirs.
02:15:34.000 Two others very fine people were also seriously hit.
02:15:38.000 But thankfully, with the help of two great country doctors, We thought they were gone and they were saved, so those doctors had great talent.
02:15:49.000 We're joined by Corey's wife, Helen, who was his high school sweetheart, and their two beloved daughters, Allison and Kaylee.
02:16:00.000 Thank you.
02:16:01.000 Thank you.
02:16:31.000 To Helen, Allison and Kaylee, Corey is looking down on his three beautiful ladies right now, and he is cheering you on.
02:16:44.000 He loves you.
02:16:45.000 He is cheering you on.
02:16:47.000 Corey was taken from us much too soon, but his destiny was to leave us all with a shining example of the selfless devotion of a true American patriot.
02:16:59.000 It was love like Cory's that built our country, and it's love like Cory's that is going to make our country more majestic than ever before.
02:17:08.000 I believe that my life was saved that day in Butler for a very good reason.
02:17:14.000 I was saved by God to make America great again.
02:17:17.000 again.
02:17:17.000 I believe that.
02:17:18.000 Thank you very much for
02:17:41.000 From the patriots of Lexington and Concord to the heroes of Gettysburg and Normandy, from the warriors who crossed the Delaware to the trailblazers who climbed the Rockies, and from the legends who soared at Kitty Hawk to the astronauts who touched the moon, Americans have always been the people who defied all arts, transcended.
02:18:05.000 All dangers made the most extraordinary sacrifices and did whatever it took to defend our children, our country, and our freedom.
02:18:14.000 And as we have seen in this chamber tonight, that same strength, faith, love, and spirit is still alive and thriving in the hearts of the American people.
02:18:26.000 Despite the best efforts of those who would try to censor us, silence us, break us, destroy us, Americans are today a proud, free, sovereign and independent nation that will always be free and we will fight for it till death.
02:18:45.000 We will never let anything happen to our beloved country because we are a country of doers, dreamers, fighters and survivors.
02:18:53.000 Our ancestors crossed a vast ocean.
02:18:57.000 Strowed into the unknown wilderness and carved their fortunes from the rock and soil of a perilous and very dangerous frontier.
02:19:07.000 They chased our destiny across a boundless continent.
02:19:11.000 They built the railroads, laid the highways and graced the world with American marvels like the Empire State Building, the mighty Hoover Dam and the towering Golden Gate Bridge.
02:19:25.000 They lit the world with electricity, broke free of the force of gravity, fired up the engines of American industry, vanquished the communists, fascists and Marxists all over the world, and gave us countless modern wonders sculptured out of iron glass and steel.
02:19:45.000 We stand on the shoulders of these pioneers who won and built the modern age.
02:19:51.000 These workers who poured their sweat into the skylines of our cities.
02:19:56.000 These warriors who shed their blood on fields of battle and gave everything they had for our rights and for our freedom.
02:20:05.000 Now it is our time to take up the righteous cause of American liberty.
02:20:09.000 And it is our turn to take America's destiny into our own hands and begin the most thrilling days in the history of our country.
02:20:20.000 This will be our greatest era.
02:20:22.000 With God's help over the next four years, we are going to lead this nation even higher, and we are going to forge the freest, most advanced, most dynamic, and most dominant civilization ever to exist on the face of this earth.
02:20:40.000 We are going to create the highest quality of life, build the safest and wealthiest and healthiest and most vital.
02:20:49.000 Communities anywhere in the world.
02:20:51.000 We are going to conquer the vast frontiers of science and we're going to lead humanity into space and plant the American flag on the planet Mars and even far beyond.
02:21:04.000 And through it all, we are going to rediscover the unstoppable power we are going to rediscover the unstoppable power of the American spirit.
02:21:30.000 And we are going to renew unlimited promise of the American dream.
02:21:34.000 every single day we will stand up and we will fight, fight, fight for the country our citizens believe in and for the country our people deserve.
02:21:44.000 My
02:22:09.000 fellow Americans get ready for an incredible future because the golden age of America has only just begun.
02:22:17.000 It will be like nothing that has ever been seen before.
02:22:23.000 Thank you, God bless you, and God bless America.
02:22:26.000 Thank you.
02:22:56.000 Thank you.
02:23:26.000 Great job.
02:23:30.000 Almost two hours, an amazing speech by President Trump, his first address to Congress since becoming the 47th President of the United States of America.
02:23:38.000 Very inspirational speech filled with many heartwarming, touching moments from the honoring of the children, one of whom lost his father.
02:23:50.000 And the line of duty who then got accepted to West Point.
02:23:54.000 And then you had little DJ who had brain cancer basically being appointed to become a Secret Service agent.
02:24:02.000 So a lot of very inspirational, viral moments.
02:24:05.000 I see a lot of people clipping the clips.
02:24:07.000 It's going viral all over social media, but that's what you get with President Trump.
02:24:11.000 There's always viral moments because not only does he have charisma, but I would say that President Trump is probably the most inspirational president in modern history, if not the most inspirational president ever in American history that we have ever had.
02:24:25.000 And so every single time President Trump speaks, I just feel that...
02:24:29.000 You know, he's inspiring another generation of leaders.
02:24:32.000 And it's sad to see the Democrats have such a lack of decorum.
02:24:37.000 I mean, look, I can't stand Marjorie Trader Greene, as I call her, as many of you know.
02:24:41.000 But I will say, I remember when the Democrats went absolutely ballistic, when Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert booed Joe Biden after the death of 13 U.S. service members.
02:24:53.000 From Biden's disastrous Afghanistan pullout during Biden's address, and the Democrats acted like, oh my God, worst thing ever that these two women were booing, and yet you had Congressman Al Green literally have to get escorted out.
02:25:07.000 by Capitol Police because, well, the Democrats just decided to disrupt.
02:25:12.000 Very disrespectful for the Democrats when you have family members whose children were raped and killed by illegal aliens in the room.
02:25:19.000 You had the widow and the daughters of Corey Comparatory and we've seen how the Democrats have incited political violence and they've promoted open borders policies that have resulted in the death of so many innocent Americans.
02:25:32.000 So I would say that, you know, President Trump and the Republicans I don't know if President Trump was,
02:25:55.000 you know, being a little sarcastic when he said, good luck, Pam, good luck, I hope you find it, given her...
02:26:03.000 A week of a lot of media controversy, given the fact that she completely botched and fumbled the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
02:26:11.000 But we'll see what happens.
02:26:12.000 But it's going to be up to these cabinet members within the Trump administration to successfully implement President Trump's agendas and his policies.
02:26:22.000 And right now, you know, the MAGA base is getting a little unhappy, not with President Trump, but by some of the flip-flopping and also some of the stalling by some of President Trump's cabinet picks.
02:26:32.000 So my warning is just, you know, we need to have cabinet members and we need to have elected Republicans actually fully support and keep their promises to the American people, just like President Trump has kept his promises to the American people, or else we will see the Republican base get a malaise.
02:26:48.000 It doesn't matter, you know, how good President Trump is, but we will see this malaise come 2026 in the midterms if these elected Republicans do not provide President Trump with the support that he needs in order to deliver to the American people.
02:27:02.000 All of his America First promises.
02:27:04.000 And we know that President Trump is a man of his word, right?
02:27:08.000 Promises made, promises kept.
02:27:09.000 But I think that going into this address, this was probably my biggest concern.
02:27:14.000 And we've seen that President Trump has no problem commanding the attention of the nation and delivering an inspiring speech.
02:27:21.000 But I guess what we're going to see...
02:27:23.000 is over these next several years and also within the next year from now to the midterm elections is whether or not his cabinet can keep up, whether or not his cabinet will deliver.
02:27:33.000 And I hope that they will.
02:27:34.000 I hope that the cabinet will be successful.
02:27:37.000 But President Trump can't do everything on his own.
02:27:40.000 I want to go to the chat.
02:27:42.000 Let's see what people thought about the speech tonight, whether you agree with my assessment.
02:27:46.000 I mean, look, I was obviously expecting President Trump to knock it out of the ballpark, but I will say that given what we saw this last week from some of his cabinet members, it's a bit concerning.
02:28:00.000 It's a bit concerning because we want to make sure that President Trump's legacy is going to remain intact and won't be tarnished by the deficiencies by some of the members within his cabinet.
02:28:13.000 I'll always support President Trump.
02:28:14.000 I think he's amazing.
02:28:15.000 I find him to be the most inspirational president, as I said before, that we've ever had in this country.
02:28:21.000 But I would be lying if I said that I wasn't a little soured this last week by some of the actions of his cabinet members, specifically Pam Bondi.
02:28:32.000 Aside from that, I think that President Trump had an amazing speech tonight, delivered an incredible speech, and I want to see what all of you have to say about it as well.
02:28:40.000 Let's see.
02:28:42.000 President Trump did a great job.
02:28:44.000 I want his cabinet to be successful.
02:28:46.000 Look, we all want President Trump's cabinet to be successful.
02:28:49.000 But my biggest concern is that you're going to have some of these incidents where, look, President Trump's doing a great job and him and his staff aren't aware of everything that all of his cabinet members are doing at any given moment.
02:29:00.000 And what my biggest concern is, is that we're going to have these one-off moments from various cabinet members that...
02:29:08.000 You know, either due to a lack of vetting or a lack of organization or just pure incompetence by some of these individuals, that it creates embarrassment for the Trump administration.
02:29:22.000 We shall see.
02:29:23.000 Somebody, a lot of people, a lot of you agree with me.
02:29:26.000 Scroll up.
02:29:26.000 You said, I agree.
02:29:27.000 I felt it was commanding, empathetic to Americans and stern to the world that America is no longer going to be suckered by guilt.
02:29:33.000 Absolutely.
02:29:34.000 It didn't sound like a vindictive campaign speech like Biden's speeches were, if you remember.
02:29:39.000 It always felt like he was lecturing MAGA and demonizing half the country.
02:29:43.000 President Trump has this ability to make all Americans feel welcome in his speeches, regardless of, you know, whether or not they voted for him, which is another reason why it was.
02:29:52.000 So disgraceful what the Democrats did because, well, I thought that was an insurrection.
02:29:55.000 We were lectured for years about how protests within official government proceedings, this was an official government proceeding, an official government event inside the United States Capitol Rotunda there.
02:30:08.000 You know, you just see the Democrats' hypocrisy on full display.
02:30:12.000 I thought that this was an insurrection, right?
02:30:16.000 They're organizing protests where you have members of Congress, the Democrat Party, of course, Hanging out with protesters who are holding signs outside of this address tonight that were advocating for the death of Elon Musk and the death of President Trump.
02:30:31.000 So again, we're seeing really just a repeat of...
02:30:35.000 When I say a repeat of the first term, I'm not necessarily talking about Trump's cabinet and the Trump administration, but just a repeat of the resistance.
02:30:43.000 And President Trump made this point very well tonight when he said, you know, it doesn't matter if I were to find the cure to the worst illness and the worst disease in the world, they would still find a way to demonize me.
02:30:55.000 They are never able to give this man credit for anything, even when he's praising a child who survived brain cancer.
02:31:03.000 It's quite incredible when you think about it.
02:31:04.000 Thank you.
02:31:06.000 It's a sad state of affairs for our country, because what is it going to mean for Americans and also just the future of our country after these next four years when we aren't going to have President Trump?
02:31:16.000 We're not going to have President Trump forever, sadly.
02:31:19.000 He isn't a king, and we do not have a monarchy in this country, despite what some people in the Democrat Party are proclaiming or what some of the new technocrats in the Trump administration would hope.
02:31:30.000 We do not have a monarchy, and we do not have kings in this country.
02:31:33.000 And so I said tonight, You know, Donald Trump is so good.
02:31:37.000 He's so inspirational.
02:31:38.000 And he has such a commanding authority to him when he speaks.
02:31:41.000 And he's such a strong leader that I'm worried that there isn't going to be a successor.
02:31:45.000 And so while the Democrat Party is so helplessly far gone and they are so depraved and they are so deranged to the point where, you know, your average American has moved so far away.
02:31:57.000 From calling themselves a proud Democrat or being able to admit that they would proudly support the Democrat Party, my greatest fear is what is to come after Trump.
02:32:09.000 Because truly, there is nobody, when you watch President Trump speak and when you watch him command the authority that he has during these speeches and also just during these addresses, whatever they may be, an address to Congress, a campaign speech, a campaign rally.
02:32:24.000 There is nobody in the Republican Party.
02:32:27.000 And look, I like J.D. Vance, but I would say even J.D. Vance included.
02:32:31.000 There is nobody in the Republican Party who has what it takes to be Donald Trump's successor.
02:32:38.000 There's nobody.
02:32:40.000 So hopefully he's coaching J.D. I mean, look, I think that obviously there's a lot of differences between President Trump and J.D. And I like J.D. I don't have anything against J.D. But is J.D. Vance Trump?
02:32:52.000 No.
02:32:52.000 I mean, I think that he tries to emulate President Trump, and I think that J.D. Vance has a lot of very strong characteristics.
02:32:58.000 But I want to get your take on this because I personally think that there's nobody currently within the Republican Party who could truly call themselves Trump's successor.
02:33:08.000 Nobody.
02:33:12.000 I don't really see how Alyssa Slocken, Eliza, Alyssa, whatever the hell she calls herself, this Democrat, former spook CIA agent who worked for Obama and Bush, who's now a Democrat senator, who is now giving the rebuttal address.
02:33:26.000 Perhaps we can get that pulled up, Cannon.
02:33:28.000 Let's see if we can get Alyssa Slocken's rebuttal address pulled up.
02:33:32.000 If not, it's fine.
02:33:33.000 But not that it's really going to be inspirational.
02:33:35.000 But I don't really see how the Democrats are going to counter what President Trump said tonight.
02:33:39.000 Because we'll...
02:33:40.000 Everything he said is true.
02:33:42.000 Everything President Trump said is completely true.
02:33:45.000 And we are in this new golden age of America, and things aren't perfect.
02:33:49.000 Things are not perfect.
02:33:51.000 Like I said, there are some disappointments thus far with not President Trump, but I would say members of his cabinet.
02:33:58.000 Here we go.
02:33:59.000 Let's cut to Alyssa Slocken, who's now beginning her address.
02:34:02.000 This is the Democrat rebuttal.
02:34:04.000 I've been in public service my entire life because I happened to be in New York City on 9/11 when the Twin Towers came down.
02:34:20.000 Before the smoke cleared, I knew I wanted to make a life in national security.
02:34:25.000 I was recruited by the CIA and did three tours in Iraq alongside the military.
02:34:30.000 In between, I worked at the White House under President Bush and President Obama, two very different leaders who both believed that America is exceptional.
02:34:39.000 You can find that same sense of patriotism here in Wyandotte, Michigan, where I'm speaking from tonight.
02:34:45.000 It's a working-class town just south of Detroit.
02:34:49.000 President Trump and I both won here in November.
02:34:52.000 It might not seem like it, but plenty of places like this still exist across the United States, places where people believe that if you work hard and play by the rules, you should do well and your kids should do better.
02:35:04.000 It reminds me of how I grew up.
02:35:06.000 My dad was a lifelong Republican, by mom a lifelong Democrat, but it was never a big deal because we had shared values that were bigger than any one party.
02:35:17.000 We just went through another fraught election season.
02:35:20.000 Americans made it clear that prices are too high and that the government needs to be more responsive to their needs.
02:35:27.000 America wants change, but there's a responsible way to make change and a reckless way.
02:35:32.000 And we can make that change without forgetting who we are as a country and as a democracy.
02:35:38.000 So that's what I'm going to lay out tonight.
02:35:41.000 Because whether you're from Wyandotte or Wichita, most Americans share three core beliefs.
02:35:47.000 That the middle class is the engine of our country, that strong national security protects us from harm, and that our democracy, no matter how messy, is unparalleled and worth fighting for.
02:35:59.000 Let's start with the economy.
02:36:02.000 Michigan literally invented the middle class.
02:36:04.000 The revolutionary idea that you could work at an auto plant and afford the car you were building.
02:36:09.000 That's the American dream.
02:36:11.000 And in order to expand and protect the middle class, we have to do a few basic things.
02:36:16.000 We need to bring down the price of things we spend the most money on.
02:36:19.000 Groceries, housing, health care.
02:36:22.000 We need to make more things in America with good-paying union jobs and bring our supply chains back home from places like China.
02:36:29.000 We need to give American businesses the certainty they need to invest and create the jobs of the future.
02:36:36.000 And we need a tax system that's fair for people who don't happen to make a billion dollars.
02:36:41.000 Look, the president talked a big game on the economy, but it's always important to read the fine print.
02:36:46.000 So, do his plans actually help Americans get ahead?
02:36:51.000 Not even close.
02:36:53.000 President Trump is trying to deliver an unprecedented giveaway to his billionaire friends.
02:36:58.000 He's on the hunt to find trillions of dollars to pass along to the wealthiest in America.
02:37:03.000 And to do that, he's going to make you pay in every part of your life.
02:37:08.000 Grocery and home prices are going up, not down, and he hasn't laid out a credible plan to deal with either of those.
02:37:15.000 His tariffs on allies like Canada will raise prices on energy, lumber, and cars, and start a trade war that will hurt manufacturing and farmers.
02:37:24.000 Your premiums and prescriptions will cost more because the math on his proposals doesn't work without going after your health care.
02:37:33.000 Meanwhile, for those keeping score, the national debt is going up, not down.
02:37:37.000 And if he's not careful, he could walk us right into a recession.
02:37:42.000 And one more thing.
02:37:43.000 In order to pay for his plan, he could very well come after your retirement.
02:37:48.000 The Social Security, Medicare, and VA benefits you worked your whole life to earn.
02:37:53.000 The president claims he won't, but Elon Musk just called Social Security the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time.
02:38:00.000 While we're on the subject of Elon Musk, is there anyone in America who is comfortable with him and his gang of 20-year-olds using their own computer servers to poke through your tax returns, your health information, and your bank accounts?
02:38:13.000 No oversight, no protections against cyber attack, no guardrails on what they do with your private data.
02:38:21.000 We need a more efficient government.
02:38:23.000 You want to cut waste?
02:38:24.000 I'll help you do it.
02:38:26.000 But change doesn't need to be chaotic or make us less safe.
02:38:29.000 The mindless firing of people who work to protect our nuclear weapons, keep our planes from crashing, and conduct the research that finds the cure for cancer, only to rehire them two days later?
02:38:41.000 No CEO in America could do that without being summarily fired.
02:38:46.000 Okay, so we've talked about economic security.
02:38:49.000 How about national security?
02:38:51.000 Let's start with the border.
02:38:53.000 As someone who spent my whole career protecting our homeland, every country deserves to know who and what is coming across its border.
02:39:01.000 Period.
02:39:02.000 Democrats and Republicans should all be for that.
02:39:04.000 But securing the border without actually fixing our broken immigration system is dealing with the symptom and not the disease.
02:39:12.000 America is a nation of immigrants.
02:39:14.000 We need a functional system keyed to the needs of our economy.
02:39:18.000 That allows vetted people to come and work here legally.
02:39:21.000 So I look forward to the president's plan on that.
02:39:24.000 Because here's the thing.
02:39:26.000 Today's world is deeply interconnected.
02:39:29.000 Migration, cyber threats, AI, environmental destruction, terrorism.
02:39:34.000 One nation cannot face these issues alone.
02:39:36.000 We need friends in all corners.
02:39:38.000 And our safety depends on it.
02:39:42.000 President Trump loves to say peace through strength.
02:39:44.000 That's actually a line he stole from Ronald Reagan.
02:39:47.000 But let me tell you, after the spectacle that just took place in the Oval Office last week, Reagan must be rolling in his grave.
02:39:55.000 We all want an end to the war in Ukraine.
02:39:58.000 But Reagan understood that true strength required America to combine our military and economic might with moral clarity.
02:40:06.000 And that scene in the Oval Office wasn't just a bad episode of reality TV. It summed up Trump's whole approach to the world.
02:40:14.000 He believes in cozying up to dictators like Vladimir Putin and kicking our friends like the Canadians in the teeth.
02:40:21.000 He sees American leadership as merely a series of real estate transactions.
02:40:26.000 As a Cold War kid, I'm thankful it was Reagan and not Trump in office in the 1980s.
02:40:32.000 Trump would have lost us the Cold War.
02:40:35.000 Donald Trump's actions suggest that in his heart, he doesn't believe we're an exceptional nation.
02:40:41.000 He clearly doesn't think we should lead the world.
02:40:44.000 Look, America is not perfect, but I stand with the majority of Americans who believe we are still exceptional, unparalleled.
02:40:52.000 And I would rather have American leadership over Chinese or Russian leadership any day of the week.
02:40:58.000 Because for generations, America has offered something better.
02:41:02.000 Our security and our prosperity, yes, but our democracy, our very system of government, has been the aspiration of the world.
02:41:09.000 And right now, it's at risk.
02:41:12.000 It's at risk when the president decides you can pick and choose what rules you want to follow, when he ignores court orders and the Constitution itself, or when elected leaders stand by and just let it happen.
02:41:25.000 But it's also at risk when the president pits Americans against each other, when he demonizes those who are different and tells certain people they shouldn't be included.
02:41:35.000 Because America is not just a patch of land between two oceans.
02:41:40.000 We are more than that.
02:41:42.000 Generations have fought and died to secure the fundamental rights that define us.
02:41:46.000 Those rights and the fight for them make us who we are.
02:41:50.000 We're a nation of strivers, risk-takers, innovators, and we are never satisfied.
02:41:56.000 That is America's superpower.
02:41:59.000 And look, I've lived and worked in many countries.
02:42:02.000 I've seen democracies flicker out.
02:42:05.000 I've seen what life is like when a government is rigged.
02:42:08.000 You can't open a business without paying off a corrupt official.
02:42:11.000 You can't criticize the guys in charge without getting a knock at the door in the middle of the night.
02:42:16.000 So as much as we need to make our government more responsive to our lives today, don't for one moment fool yourself that democracy isn't precious and worth saving.
02:42:27.000 But how do we actually do that?
02:42:29.000 I know a lot of you have been asking that question.
02:42:32.000 First, don't tune out.
02:42:34.000 It's easy to be exhausted, but America needs you now more than ever.
02:42:39.000 If previous generations had not fought for this democracy, where would we be today?
02:42:44.000 Second, hold your elected officials, including me, accountable.
02:42:48.000 Watch how they're voting.
02:42:50.000 Go to town halls and demand they take action.
02:42:52.000 That's as American as apple pie.
02:42:55.000 Third, organize.
02:42:57.000 Pick just one issue you're passionate about and engage.
02:43:00.000 And doom scrolling doesn't count.
02:43:02.000 Join a group that cares about your issue and act.
02:43:05.000 And if you can't find one, start one.
02:43:08.000 Some of the most important movements in our history have come from the bottle up.
02:43:13.000 In closing, we all know that our country is going through something right now.
02:43:18.000 We're not sure what the next day is going to hold, let alone the next decade.
02:43:22.000 But this isn't the first time we've experienced significant and tumultuous change as a country.
02:43:28.000 I'm a student of history, and we've gone through periods of political instability before.
02:43:34.000 And ultimately, we've chosen to keep changing this country for the better.
02:43:38.000 But every single time, we've only gotten through those moments because of two things.
02:43:44.000 Engaged citizens and principled leaders.
02:43:47.000 Engaged citizens who do a little bit more than they're used to doing to fight for the things that they care about.
02:43:52.000 And principled leaders who are ready to receive the ball and do something about it.
02:43:58.000 So thank you tonight for caring about your country.
02:44:01.000 Just by watching you qualify as engaged citizens.
02:44:04.000 And I promise that I and my fellow Democrats will do everything in our power to be the principal leaders that you deserve.
02:44:11.000 Good night, everyone.
02:44:12.000 And that was Alyssa Slotkin, about 11 minutes from Wyandotte, Michigan, with the Democratic She's a freshman senator.
02:44:29.000 Just a bunch of nothing.
02:44:31.000 I mean, really, she didn't really say anything.
02:44:33.000 It sounds like a pep talk, like, hey guys, you know, I know you're feeling really defeated, but we all have to stick together and not give up.
02:44:40.000 And I mean, the one thing that I will say that I think that people on the left and the right are getting a little tired of is, you know, unelected.
02:44:49.000 Technocratic billionaires occupying space in the White House.
02:44:52.000 I mean, that is like the only thing I will say that the Republicans and the Democrats maybe share common ground on is that, you know, you have people on the left, the middle and the right who are saying, you know, I don't really feel comfortable with unelected bureaucrats, which also includes billionaire donors who maybe they're doing good work.
02:45:11.000 Maybe they're not, depending on who you ask.
02:45:13.000 I would say that that is like the only fair point.
02:45:17.000 That was mentioned by Alyssa Slotkin in that I think this is going to become an issue, and I've said this from the get-go, that there are going to be people who become resentful, whether it be because they themselves are laid off or because they get fatigued from seeing a lot of these big tech executives and billionaires in the White House.
02:45:41.000 But I really do think that class warfare and Classism is going to be one of the top issues in America driving political discourse come 2026. So I will say that unfortunately the Democrats are incapable of messaging that in a coherent manner and finding common ground because They're not able to give credit where credit's due, right?
02:46:09.000 Like, give President Trump credit for the good things that he does, give Elon Musk credit for the good things that he does, while making points in a way that would invite your average American or maybe somebody who isn't politically affiliated but is also kind of annoyed with the What many would say is overbearing presence of these big tech executives in the White House.
02:46:33.000 If they were to say it in a more diplomatic way, they would find that there are a lot of people on the right who feel this way.
02:46:40.000 There were a lot of people on the right tonight who were kind of subtweeting this.
02:46:44.000 And these are people who are diehard Trump supporters.
02:46:49.000 The Democrats, though, are never going to give credit where credit's due.
02:46:53.000 And if you want to actually have real change or find common ground, then it can't just be constant attack, attack, attack, attack without giving credit.
02:47:02.000 You have to admit when your so-called enemies do something good, and you have to be willing to have a peaceful conversation with them without demonizing them and their colleagues and all of their associates as being...
02:47:15.000 Hitler, or as being fascist, or as being totalitarians in nature.
02:47:22.000 But I will say, I tweeted, I said, I think that Alyssa Slocken needs to lose weight.
02:47:27.000 Some people said, oh, that's a stupid, petty thing to say.
02:47:30.000 I don't.
02:47:31.000 Look, the Republican Party is now cool.
02:47:33.000 They used to say that Republicans were not cool.
02:47:36.000 Well, being conservative is the new counterculture.
02:47:39.000 So, again, why after having this Massive defeat on election day with the Democrats have an overweight deep stater who, you know, is just speaking like a Karen.
02:47:57.000 When I say she's an overweight deep stater, I mean, she's morbidly obese.
02:48:01.000 And the outfit that she was wearing tonight was much more slimming than what this woman looks like in person because Loomer Unleashed has actually confronted Alyssa Slocken.
02:48:08.000 She is morbid, okay, morbid in her size.
02:48:12.000 And I bring this up.
02:48:13.000 Because it's important, right?
02:48:15.000 The Democrats are out here encouraging people to live unhealthy lifestyles.
02:48:20.000 They're trying to glamorize weakness.
02:48:21.000 They're trying to glamorize obesity.
02:48:23.000 They're trying to glamorize the LGBTQ agenda and transmutilation of children.
02:48:28.000 They're trying to glamorize things that are really just not aesthetically appealing or just aesthetically satisfying.
02:48:41.000 And so you would think that if the Democrats truly wanted to have a rebuttal or they wanted to inspire the next generation of Democrats to really, you know, join their so-called resistance and to oppose President Trump and to get excited about the midterms, you would think that you would have a woman that...
02:49:01.000 You know, actually put a little bit of care into their personal appearance and a little bit of care into how they carry themselves.
02:49:09.000 Because I don't want to be lectured about how somebody is so bad as an elected official or how awful my decision-making is as a Trump voter or how awful Trump voters' decisions were to put Donald Trump back into the White House by a woman who can't even control how much food she's putting in her mouth.
02:49:28.000 And so the Democrats are going to have to come to terms with the fact that their glorification of terrible aesthetics is one of the things that pushed so many people away.
02:49:39.000 And a lot of people say, oh, well, that's really petty.
02:49:42.000 You should just focus on the policy.
02:49:44.000 Well, why do you think that so many first-time voters and so many independents and so many youth, so many first-time voters voted for Trump over Biden?
02:49:54.000 Why do you think that they voted for Republicans over Democrats?
02:49:57.000 There is an aesthetics crisis within the Democrat Party.
02:50:01.000 There is.
02:50:01.000 There's an aesthetics crisis within the Democrat Party.
02:50:05.000 And so I'm just being honest here.
02:50:08.000 So I'm not trying to be disrespectful about a woman and her appearance, but she just looks very disheveled.
02:50:14.000 She was posting photos of herself eating donuts before the rebuttal address tonight.
02:50:19.000 I mean, honestly, if you are that big, you should not be eating donuts before you You know, get in front of a camera to give the so-called rebuttal to President Trump's address tonight.
02:50:31.000 And I don't think that the Democrats realize that people look at these things and they see somebody like Donald Trump, a successful billionaire, gorgeous wife, gorgeous children, children who are put together.
02:50:43.000 He's cool.
02:50:46.000 He's embraced by all of these culture icons in our society.
02:50:50.000 And then you have Joe Biden, Sleepy Joe, and you have these disheveled Democrats that are trying to make it so that men can destroy women's sports and so that children can be sexually mutilated so that you can be murdered by illegal aliens or poisoned by fentanyl.
02:51:06.000 And everything that they support and everything that they put front and center is just ugly.
02:51:12.000 Right?
02:51:12.000 It's just ugly.
02:51:13.000 There's no aesthetic appeal to it.
02:51:15.000 It just has no inspirational value or inspirational element to it at all.
02:51:21.000 And so I would disagree with the people that are saying, oh, you know, you shouldn't say that Alyssa Slocken should lose weight.
02:51:28.000 That has nothing to do with the substance of, you know, the address that she gave tonight.
02:51:32.000 It actually does have everything to do with...
02:51:35.000 with the substance of what she said tonight because the Democrats are going to continue losing and the Democrats are going to keep on repelling people and also pushing voters away from their party as long as they continue to glorify and platform gross people who promote degeneracy who promote unhealthy habits and who promote A lifestyle of degeneracy and make it so that you think it's
02:52:05.000 okay to be a slob, so that you think it's okay to be mediocre and simply rewarded.
02:52:11.000 For the color of your skin or your sexual orientation as opposed to how hard you work.
02:52:16.000 And that's what President Trump is talking about when he's talking about the golden age of America.
02:52:21.000 We're going to make things beautiful again.
02:52:22.000 We're going to get rid of all the graffiti.
02:52:25.000 We're going to get rid of all of the trash.
02:52:27.000 You know, we're going to get rid of all these terrible Democrat policies that destroyed our society, destroyed our culture, destroyed our youth, destroyed our border, destroyed our country that just made everything so ugly.
02:52:41.000 And when I look at somebody who's so grotesque, like an Alyssa Slocken, I just think to myself, the Democrats just project this image of disheveledness and this image of this total lack of respect and a lack of attention to aesthetic appeal.
02:52:59.000 And so for me, you know, it's not about being shallow.
02:53:03.000 It's not about being judgmental.
02:53:06.000 It's just this desire to finally get away from all of this Non-inspirational, you know, everybody gets a trophy bullshit that the Democrats have been promoting and just shoving down our throats for the last four years.
02:53:21.000 I just am kind of repulsed by it.
02:53:24.000 And so I don't really understand how people can find anything wrong with what President Trump said tonight.
02:53:30.000 I understand that there can be issues that we, you know, all find to be a little bit distasteful.
02:53:35.000 Like, I agree, this idea of an oligarchy or the Enormous amount of power that these so-called tech oligarchs and tech executives and tech billionaires now have with their proximity to President Trump.
02:53:49.000 But there's a way to talk about that without coming across like a lunatic.
02:53:53.000 There's a way to talk about that without waving a Hamas flag or waving a Ukraine flag in the middle of the street and uniting with people that are calling for President Trump to be killed and dressing up like Luigi Mangione outside of these protests, right?
02:54:11.000 And I don't know, it's just the Democrats are, they seem to be kind of either unwilling to accept this reality or just completely deranged by years of Trump derangement syndrome that they have no idea how or what is considered appealing to the everyday American.
02:54:32.000 I don't know if you agree with me or not.
02:54:34.000 I mean, some people didn't like my comment about...
02:54:37.000 Her looks and her appearance and her weight, but I just personally think that the Democrats are going to continue to lose as long as they continue to project this unhealthy aura.
02:54:49.000 Not just an unhealthy aura about the lifestyle choices of these politicians in the Democrat Party, but also just an unhealthy aesthetic for the future of our country.
02:55:00.000 And that's what people voted against this last election season.
02:55:03.000 And that is one of the reasons why so many people, especially so many young people, overwhelmingly voted Republican as opposed to Democrat.
02:55:11.000 Yeah.
02:55:17.000 Reality Storyline said, avoid a spirit, Laura, avoid a spirit.
02:55:20.000 They're losing their soul.
02:55:21.000 Yeah, I mean, I think that that's honestly what it is.
02:55:23.000 They honestly just have no concept of what is good, what is pure, what is aesthetically pleasing, what is beautiful.
02:55:30.000 And again, when you surround yourself with this kind of like low standard and you embrace people who have poor lifestyle choices and you make exceptions for people who are...
02:55:45.000 Severely obese and you make exceptions for people who are severely mentally ill and you try to platform that and make that the new normal, it's going to have serious social consequences.
02:55:55.000 And the Democrats are now reeling from it.
02:55:58.000 They cannot, no matter what they do, they cannot find their footing.
02:56:03.000 And it's incredible to see this cultural and also just this social shift in our society because you see how the Democrats for years were considered the cool party, right?
02:56:12.000 The party of Hollywood, the party of pop culture, and the party that was going to dictate the social norms and the culture.
02:56:20.000 And now there's nothing more uncool than being a Democrat.
02:56:24.000 I don't know if you would agree, but I personally think that there's no greater insult that you could give somebody in our society currently.
02:56:32.000 Then they're like a radical leftist or a member of the Democrat Party.
02:56:36.000 It's almost just completely embarrassing.
02:56:38.000 I would be absolutely ashamed and embarrassed to say that I was a member of the Democrat Party.
02:56:47.000 So it's over.
02:56:48.000 Her rebuttal was not really much of a rebuttal because as I said before, what are they truly going to rebut?
02:56:55.000 They have nothing to say.
02:56:56.000 It was just a little pep talk.
02:56:59.000 We'll take a few more questions and comments, but before that, I want to go ahead and thank the sponsor of tonight's episode of Loomer Unleashed again, and that is, of course, Kirk Elliott Precious Metals.
02:57:09.000 What happens to your money in the bank when the BRICS nations continue their economic warfare against America and start dumping their U.S. treasuries in retaliation to the Trump tariffs?
02:57:19.000 Are your bank assets truly safe?
02:57:21.000 Did you know the FDIC only has about 1.2% of all deposits insured?
02:57:26.000 It doesn't take much for a bank run significantly worse than what we saw after Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank, and First Republic failed.
02:57:33.000 You need to get out of the system with the world's safest assets, silver and gold.
02:57:37.000 Let the buyer beware.

02:58:56.000 We'll go back to the chat, take a few more questions.
02:59:05.000 you Oh, some of you like my sweater from Mardi Gras.
02:59:09.000 It was so cold in New Orleans.
02:59:11.000 I just got back tonight.
02:59:13.000 I literally got back like an hour before I did my show tonight.
02:59:18.000 So, I had a good time in Mardi Gras, but it was freezing cold.
02:59:24.000 I'm pretty sure Slotkin is a lesbian.
02:59:27.000 Somebody said, is she a lesbian?
02:59:28.000 From what I know, she's a lesbian.
02:59:30.000 I don't really care if she's a lesbian.
02:59:31.000 I just have a problem with the fact that the Democrats actually think, you know, after we just got done watching weaponized lawfare and the deep state, they thought that having a spook and a woman who worked for Obama and Bush as a CIA agent who is so disheveled, she's so obese, she's popping out of her suit, okay?
02:59:51.000 Give an address to counter President Trump.
02:59:53.000 I just don't understand how that is appealing.
02:59:56.000 To anybody.
02:59:57.000 Aren't we moving away from all of, you know, these weaponized agencies and aren't they smart enough to see that having a spook and having a CIA agent address the country probably, you know, probably isn't the best idea.
03:00:11.000 The American people right now are a little sick and tired of weaponized government and trust within the agencies, whether it be the FBI or the CIA, is at an all-time low.
03:00:21.000 President Trump's nominees have barely been confirmed.
03:00:25.000 They've barely been in their positions for a week now.
03:00:30.000 And so you just have to ask yourself, who's doing the Democrats' messaging for them?
03:00:37.000 I don't know.
03:00:39.000 They're just not very smart.
03:00:44.000 And I'm glad that many of you agree with me because I personally just...
03:00:49.000 I don't know.
03:00:50.000 I am just sitting here as a woman, especially.
03:00:54.000 Like, they think that having a woman to counter Trump is going to appeal to women.
03:00:59.000 They need to understand that nobody gives a shit about all this gender warfare anymore.
03:01:03.000 Nobody cares.
03:01:04.000 You're not going to inspire people by having a woman who is a law enforcement agent who's also a lesbian get up on the stage and give a counter-rebuttal address to President Trump.
03:01:16.000 Gone are the days of identity politics.
03:01:19.000 We are eradicating DEI, okay?
03:01:21.000 We are eradicating glorification for federal law enforcement and federal agents who weaponize our agencies, that of which Alyssa Slokin had no problem doing as a federal law enforcement agent under the Bush administration and the Obama administration, okay?
03:01:40.000 We are...
03:01:41.000 We are not glorifying these corrupt cops anymore.
03:01:44.000 We're not.
03:01:45.000 We respect law enforcement here on the right, but gone are the days of just giving blanket respect to federal law enforcement agencies that have weaponized their agencies to, you know, interfere in our elections, to illegally spy on presidential candidates, to illegally spy on the American people.
03:02:04.000 So I don't know what the Democrats were thinking.
03:02:08.000 Absolute failure.
03:02:09.000 I mean, isn't there anybody else who is a little bit more appealing, both aesthetically and also in terms of their resume, who could have given the rebuttal tonight?
03:02:21.000 It's crazy.
03:02:22.000 I just don't see how the Democrats have a comeback.
03:02:31.000 back.
03:02:33.000 Thank you.
03:02:34.000 The only thing, as I said before, that Republicans need to be careful of is not having these one-off screw-ups by members of the Trump administration.
03:02:41.000 Trump himself is doing a good job, but some of his cabinet members are already breaking their promises and turning off a lot of people in the MAGA base.
03:02:49.000 So we need to make sure that a malaise is not created ahead of the midterms because that is what will stunt voter turnout.
03:02:57.000 That's why we need to be aggressive, just like I've been aggressive against Pam Bondi over the last few days, getting called out a lot from members of the Republican Party who are telling me that I need to calm down.
03:03:07.000 Calm down for what?
03:03:08.000 These people are going to cost us the midterms if we don't hold them accountable.
03:03:12.000 They want to embarrass President Trump and they want to sabotage his America First agenda.
03:03:17.000 We can't allow them to get away with doing that.
03:03:20.000 So no, I will not shut up and I will not stop attacking Republicans because we need to make sure that Republicans keep in line and that they are held accountable.
03:03:26.000 And that they are called out every single time they say something or do something that goes against President Trump's agenda or creates an embarrassment for his administration.
03:03:39.000 So, no.
03:03:40.000 I'm not going to apologize alrighty everybody Well, that's it for tonight.
03:03:53.000 I hope you enjoyed the live coverage.
03:03:55.000 As I said, it wasn't going to be a lot of me talking tonight.
03:03:58.000 It's really mostly just listening to President Trump give his address.
03:04:02.000 But I hope you all enjoyed it.
