00:04:56.000 And we tend to forget that at the end of the day, we're all Americans.
00:05:02.000 Many of you know that I graduated valedictorian from Barrie University in Miami, Florida, where I was the president of the College of Republicans and also a broadcast journalism major and a political science minor.

00:05:18.000 For decades, I have read, studied, and been steeped in the celebrated literature, documents, and speeches of our founding fathers and the men who came before them, like political philosophers, including John Jacques Rousseau, Aristotle, and John Locke.
00:05:33.000 It is said that Thomas Jefferson adopted Locke's theory of natural rights to provide a reason for revolution.
00:05:40.000 Locke is notable for making the statement that all men have the right to pursue life, liberty, and property.

00:07:51.000 You know, we're told that we have a Republican Party and that we have a Democrat Party, but at the end of the day, it just feels like it's us against them.
00:07:58.000 And when I say us against them, it feels more like us, the American people, against both political party establishments that are working overtime to screw the American people.
