Loomer Unleashed - Trump Townhall Watch Party: LIVE with Laura Loomer in IowaTrump Townhall Watch Party: LIVE with Laura Loomer in Iowa

00:07:29.000 Yes, testing 1, 2, 3.

00:10:07.000 Hey everybody, Laura Loomer here, live with Joey Manorino.

00:10:11.000 Hello, good evening.

00:10:12.000 We are live from Iowa once again.

00:10:15.000 Yes, I've been in Iowa all week, as has Joey.

00:10:18.000 Tonight is a very special night.

00:10:20.000 It is officially the five-day countdown to the Iowa caucus, which is going to be taking place here in Iowa on January 15th.

00:10:29.000 And tonight, President Trump is in Iowa, where he's being hosted by Fox News for a town hall.

00:10:37.000 At 8 p.m.

00:10:37.000 Central and so I thought what better way than to have a Trump Town Hall watch party and also a meet-and-greet to meet all of these amazing MAGA patriots who are here behind me.

00:10:49.000 You can see we got the we got the flat screens up, we got the projector up, we have pizza, we have meatballs, and I have Ron DeSantis.

00:10:58.000 It's pretty much over in five days.

00:10:59.000 He will be irrelevant to pretty much everyone, which he kind of already has been for most of the race, but it will be the official pronouncement of his political death.

00:11:09.000 Absolutely, and Joey and I have spent the entire day together.

00:11:11.000 We just got back from Vivek Ramaswamy's press conference, and there was also a protest inside the Iowa State Capitol.

00:11:20.000 No eminent domain for private gain, and it was great because, you know, you had Vivek Ramaswamy there, you had Congressman Steve King, who's on his way right now to my watch party, and also you had the Iowa State Director for President Trump.

00:11:35.000 A lot of Trump supporters at this event.

00:11:39.000 Yes, expressing their support for Iowa farmers and everyday Americans who are facing the threat of eminent domain where the government comes in and essentially they confiscate your property for pennies on the dollar.

00:11:58.000 It was really great to see not just Vivek Ramaswamy there but also a ton of Trump supporters including a lot of Trump caucus chairs for the Iowa caucus.

00:12:08.000 Right and it's very important to point out Vivek had some stuff to say about you and he really came out and defended you hard against Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis who unjustly threw you out of the events and he said an investigative journalist is allowed at my events and shame on them for not

00:12:25.000 Allowing you there, so I thought that was a big deal.

00:12:27.000 Yeah, and they actually had protesters climate change people showed up to protest and Instead of you know throwing them out like Ron DeSantis or Nikki Haley would have done but they actually gave the lady the microphone

00:12:40.000 Well, in fact, yeah.

00:12:59.000 I think that he is definitely laying the groundwork to be a nominee in 2028.

00:13:05.000 I do believe Trump needs to be our nominee in 2024 so that we can take America back and save our country and right this wrong of a stolen election.

00:13:14.000 But the vague is certainly, in my opinion, the number one contender for 2028.

00:13:18.000 Well, we need a future of the movement.

00:13:21.000 The movement can't end after Trump's second term.

00:13:23.000 The movement has to continue.

00:13:25.000 And we thought

00:13:26.000 For a little bit, most of the people thought Ron DeSantis would carry the movement forward.

00:13:30.000 I know you never actually were on that train, but the majority of people said, all right, we got Ron for 28.

00:13:36.000 We don't have Ron anymore for 28.

00:13:38.000 Ron showed us that he is not who we thought he was.

00:13:41.000 He did a good, decent job in Florida for COVID.

00:13:44.000 But the rest of the foreign policy and the rest of his attitude and who he's surrounded himself with really disqualifies him for future races.

00:13:53.000 So we now have Vivek who can take the movement forward afterwards.

00:13:56.000 Absolutely.

00:13:57.000 And, you know, some breaking news right now.

00:14:00.000 Chris Christie is dropping out, actually, of the GOP presidential primary.

00:14:05.000 Yes, he is.

00:14:06.000 Interesting timing, five days before the Iowa caucus and just a couple weeks before the January 23rd New Hampshire primary and he actually got caught on a hot mic today in which he said that Nikki Haley's gonna get smoked by Trump and he also said in this hot mic audio that Ron DeSantis called him petrified and said that Donald Trump is going to win Iowa and so I take that as an endorsement of President Trump from Chris

00:14:32.000 Well, Chris Christie doesn't endorse anything but the KFC buckets, and this is a man who stayed with Trump for four years, supporting him, pseudo-supporting him.

00:14:43.000 He did debate prep with him, and then when it became politically expedient, he got in the race and tried to do nothing but tear him down. 0.98

00:14:51.000 Chris Christie is a pathetic politician. 0.94

00:14:53.000 He actually helped Obama win in 2012, if you remember. 0.99

00:14:56.000 He had the Bridgegate scandal.

00:14:58.000 He's done nothing good with his life ever.

00:15:00.000 And he campaigned with Obama in New Jersey as well. 0.99

00:15:02.000 Yeah, he's a fat... 0.99

00:15:04.000 Never mind. 0.98

00:15:34.000 Come on out if you're watching.

00:15:37.000 We're gonna be here all throughout the town hall.

00:15:39.000 So if you live in Iowa and you didn't know about it, we're in Grimes.

00:15:42.000 Drive safely, it is snowing, but we have free pizza, free meatballs.

00:15:46.000 It's our last chance to really stick a fork in the meatball known as Ron DeSantis.

00:15:50.000 And so we are getting ready in about 15 minutes.

00:15:53.000 President Trump is going to be taking the stage live on Fox News with Brett Baier and Martha McCallum.

00:15:59.000 From Des Moines, Iowa, where he's participating in a town hall.

00:16:01.000 Yeah, and I'm not going to be soft on him.

00:16:03.000 Bret Baier, he's a pretty tough one, so it should be entertaining tonight.

00:16:08.000 Trump always goes right back at them, but it's sometimes nice, because the soft interviews are nice, but I like to see back and forth.

00:16:15.000 I like to see him go at the journalists.

00:16:17.000 So he might have to regret a little bit. 0.99

00:16:36.000 Because, let's be honest, nobody really gives a shit about Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis. 0.96

00:16:40.000 You can just watch old Dick Cheney speeches if you want to hear Nikki Haley speak. 0.98

00:16:44.000 And Ron DeSantis might be the most boring person to ever run for president in history.

00:16:48.000 So, you remember the space when he announced?

00:16:50.000 No charisma.

00:16:51.000 It failed, yeah.

00:16:51.000 No charisma.

00:16:52.000 Yeah, and it failed.

00:16:53.000 And literally, that was the high point.

00:16:56.000 It all was down from there.

00:16:58.000 Well, we have a lot of really interesting people here in the room tonight, and we're going to be watching President Trump's town hall, and in between commercial breaks, we're going to be interviewing people.

00:17:05.000 Like I said, we have Congressman Steve King, we have several of the Iowa state representatives who have endorsed President Trump, who are here tonight with their families to show support.

00:17:16.000 And people are trickling in still, because it is snowy and the roads are icy, so people are taking their time.

00:17:22.000 I'm surprised anybody came out.

00:17:23.000 It's amazing, the Iowan spirit.

00:17:25.000 It's pretty full here.

00:17:26.000 And with all that snow, nothing stops the people of Iowa.

00:17:30.000 It's amazing to see it.

00:17:33.000 Yeah, and big shout out to Destination Grill as well.

00:17:35.000 If you live in Iowa or you're coming to visit, really amazing event venue.

00:17:39.000 So if you're looking for events, the food is amazing, the owner is pro-Trump, and he believes in free speech.

00:17:45.000 I mean, this is an owner who comped us tonight.

00:17:49.000 A lot of, yeah, a lot of, he comped us the space because he supports Trump, but he believes in free speech, and he's hosted Ron DeSantis here for events, Vivek Ramaswamy, and when I said that I wanted to do a watch party here, he, you know, in the spirit of free speech, decided to comp some pizzas and drinks tonight, so really a big shout out to the owners here at Destination Grill.

00:18:12.000 Amazing venue space, amazing food, so you're gonna want to check them out in Grimes, Iowa.

00:18:17.000 I love the pizza and you know I'm a tough critic.

00:18:17.000 Absolutely!

00:18:19.000 I lived in Italy for a while so this is actually really good stuff.

00:18:22.000 I like the meatballs.

00:18:23.000 Yeah well I haven't tried the meatballs yet but we'll have to do that.

00:18:28.000 We shall see how that goes.

00:18:29.000 So be sure you guys, I believe this is on the front page of Rumble right now, and be sure that you share the link live.

00:18:36.000 We are live right now.

00:18:37.000 We're going to be having the camera, you know, we're not going to be talking the entire time, but we're going to have the camera focused on the attendees tonight as well as the big screen

00:18:49.000 I think so.

00:19:09.000 Yeah, it's a really involved process.

00:19:11.000 People from outside of Iowa, like me, I didn't realize you can't just walk in and vote at any time of the day.

00:19:16.000 You have to show up at a certain time to a certain place and really get organized to do it.

00:19:20.000 So it takes a lot, but that's what you call dedication and I'm glad to see that people are so engaged in it here.

00:19:27.000 Oh, wow.

00:19:57.000 This is not a blue state.

00:19:57.000 Right.

00:19:59.000 You must be a citizen of the state to vote.

00:20:01.000 And a citizen of the country, which is not the case in every other place.

00:20:04.000 In New York, they want non-residents to be able to vote in elections.

00:20:07.000 And they're going to try to make it legal.

00:20:09.000 So, we've got a crazy country.

00:20:10.000 We've got to save it, Laura.

00:20:11.000 We've got to save it.

00:20:13.000 Right.

00:20:13.000 Yeah.

00:20:13.000 They do.

00:20:44.000 The Trump 2024 signs look at how nice these are and They're great we got plenty of stuff we have those little show us those little green things over here this is the President Trump back-to-back Iowa champ 2016 2020 and most likely 2024 unless they pull some shenanigans which they really can't beat this landslide coming in Iowa, but Trump 2024

00:21:10.000 I'm sober, Donald Trump's sober.

00:21:11.000 I don't drink, but... I drink wine.

00:21:13.000 If you do drink, there's koozies, but you can also use it for coffee or tea.

00:21:17.000 So that's really nice.

00:21:19.000 With the QR code, it probably takes you how to go to the website.

00:21:23.000 The Trump merchandise is awesome.

00:21:25.000 He really puts together some great stuff.

00:21:27.000 But nothing ever will beat the classic MAGA hat, ever.

00:21:30.000 That is iconic all around the world.

00:21:33.000 Or the Trump beanie.

00:21:34.000 The Trumpini's awesome too.

00:21:36.000 But you can walk through cities in Europe, Latin America, anywhere in the world and that MAGA hat, somebody in some city will have it.

00:21:44.000 That, I'm gonna steal from you.

00:21:46.000 I also have my Trump 2024 scarf that I'm rocking here tonight.

00:21:49.000 I'm staying warm.

00:21:52.000 That will go missing from Laura soon because I really need that.

00:21:54.000 I got to rock that when I go next week to Europe.

00:21:57.000 See some people get really triggered because they're still a little brainwashed with the Trump stuff.

00:22:02.000 We have a lot of great people here tonight.

00:22:03.000 What are you excited to see?

00:22:05.000 I'm excited to see basically what he's gonna say if there's anything new that they're gonna come up with as far as the questioning about the case because what people are not talking about enough in this election is Donald Trump cannot run a campaign like he wants to

00:22:20.000 Because he has to go back and forth to court.

00:22:21.000 He's back tomorrow.

00:22:22.000 Like, check this out. 0.95

00:22:22.000 It's ridiculous. 0.95

00:22:23.000 Trump's in Iowa tonight for the town hall, and then immediately tomorrow he has to go to New York for closing arguments. 0.91

00:22:29.000 And then the judge today, Arthur Ngoron, was just being malicious.

00:22:34.000 And in the email thread that I posted between Trump's lawyers and Arthur Ngoron, you see the judge just being so spiteful and saying, well, no, now you don't get to give your closing arguments.

00:22:43.000 And mind you, 0.99

00:22:44.000 Oh, he's a piece of dirt. 0.99

00:23:04.000 So our prayers go out to First Lady Melania Trump with the death of her mother and President Trump, the death of his mother-in-law. 0.99

00:23:11.000 It's just awful what the Trump family has been subjected to.

00:23:15.000 But you know, Rhonda Santos, Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, and really every other

00:23:20.000 Our candidate has been able to stay here for weeks at a time and like get comfy, get cozy in their hotels.

00:23:26.000 And Donald Trump constantly has to travel because he's being harassed.

00:23:30.000 This is harassment.

00:23:31.000 And that's just a preview of what's going to happen in the general election with him too.

00:23:35.000 So what we're going to have to do is it's going to take people like us, people who really support to actually get out there.

00:23:41.000 We're going to have to be holding events because there's no way he's going to be able to do everything on his own with what they're going to try to put him through.

00:23:47.000 So if you are a Trump supporter,

00:23:49.000 Get involved and get active now, because we're gonna have to carry that message forward.

00:23:53.000 Exactly.

00:23:54.000 And be sure that you show up on Monday, because that's what's most important.

00:23:57.000 Monday, every vote matters, you guys.

00:24:00.000 Look, don't get overconfident in thinking that Trump's gonna win.

00:24:03.000 Pretend like we are five points behind, just so that you get everybody you know to get out and vote for you.

00:24:03.000 No.

00:24:09.000 Yeah, because Chris Christie dropping out is a trick.

00:24:13.000 I know we're all celebrating, haha, the fat man lost, he can go back to being the Michelin Man little representative, but the fact of the matter is, Haley is allegedly trailing him really closely in the polls.

00:24:24.000 With Christie dropping out, if people push behind her, Trump could be in trouble in New Hampshire.

00:24:30.000 So there is no room for complacency whatsoever when it comes to this race.

00:24:36.000 They will try every trick in the book.

00:24:38.000 They want him out of power.

00:24:40.000 They want him gone.

00:24:42.000 So if you think that you can just take it easy and rest on your laurels, not going to happen in this election.

00:24:49.000 Yeah, we can't take anything for granted, you guys.

00:24:51.000 And so listen, we are officially about five minutes out from the Trump Town Hall, so we're going to get everybody settled.

00:24:59.000 We can see right now they have pre-programming on Fox News, or Faux News, as I like to call them.

00:25:05.000 Yeah, they're our frenemies.

00:25:07.000 We're going to get ready, and for the stream we're just going to have the camera panned on the audience, and then in between commercial breaks, of course, we are going to provide our commentary.

00:25:17.000 But we wanted to have a continuous live stream so that people can see what's going on.

00:25:21.000 Yes.

00:25:21.000 And of course, if you're running late, no worries, come on in, grab some pizza, get some meatballs, make yourself comfortable.

00:25:27.000 We're going to have a great time tonight, and it's your chance to meet me as well, even if you're not interested in voting, you know?

00:25:33.000 You just want to come on out and meet me.

00:25:35.000 I'll be here probably till about 9 30.

00:25:38.000 Anyone who wants to meet you will be very interested in voting on Monday as well.

00:25:42.000 Don't think there's really much crossover with that crowd.

00:25:45.000 We hope so.

00:25:46.000 We're gonna get the audio blasted now so that we can get ready for for President Trump to take the stage now and stay tuned be sure that you're reposting this live link share it on true social share it on X follow me on X and truth at Laura

00:26:11.000 You'll get that sorted out for me actually because I'm sure you know them.

00:26:17.000 To thank the sponsor of tonight's stream, Gold Co.

00:26:19.000 You know, one of the reasons why we need President Trump back into office is so that we can make our economy great again.

00:27:18.000 So we are about to get started.

00:27:21.000 We're going to put the microphones down and get the audio blasted because we are two minutes away from President Trump taking the stage.

00:27:27.000 So stay tuned and we will be back soon and I hope that you will enjoy the wash party.

00:27:32.000 Thank you so much for tuning in.

00:27:35.000 He can show the American people, Hunter Biden can, that he is present and available.

00:27:39.000 Hunter Biden is tired of being kicked around and maligned in the public eye.

00:27:48.000 So the public relations objective here was to make the point Hunter Biden is willing to answer any questions the committee had.

00:27:59.000 Today's spin was that Hunter won. 0.98

00:28:02.000 And only idiots think that Hunter wants to answer questions. 1.00

00:28:05.000 These hijinks are just going to force Republicans to fast-track impeachment. 0.99

00:28:09.000 So this spring you'll have Trump in court, and it'll be counter-programmed with Biden's impeachment hearing.

00:28:15.000 And if Trump wins the election, Biden will pardon his son during the lame duck.

00:28:19.000 And if Biden wins re-election, they'll ride the tax cases out for a no-jail-plea deal or a midnight pardon.

00:28:25.000 But the effect this is going to have on America's confidence in our political system and our judicial system

00:28:32.000 It's only going to invigorate American populism. 0.91

00:28:36.000 Let's bring in South Carolina Congressman Nancy Mays. 1.00

00:28:38.000 She's a member of the Oversight Committee.

00:28:41.000 Congressman, why didn't you just say, alright Hunter, game on, call your bluff, here's a glass of water, let's do the interview right now.

00:28:49.000 Well, if you saw how many times the Democrats interrupted me in the hearing today, they didn't want to hear anything that I had to say, none of the facts that I had that I was throwing out there to Hunter Biden.

00:28:59.000 I was the only Republican who was able to take him head-on because he fled as soon as it was over there for less than 10 minutes.

00:29:06.000 And can you imagine, Jesse?

00:29:08.000 That if this was one of your millions of viewers that defied a congressional subpoena, showed up and spit in the face of Congress by not coming before us, by not doing the deposition, and then walked out, you would be held in contempt of Congress, your viewers would, and they'd be thrown in jail.

00:29:27.000 But instead, if your last name is Biden, it's a completely different standard.

00:29:31.000 Whereas years before, with Trump and the Trump family, whenever they were subpoenaed,

00:29:36.000 They showed up.

00:29:37.000 Don Jr.

00:29:38.000 showed up how many times to a congressional subpoena?

00:29:41.000 Dozens of hours before Congress, with depositions, because Donald Trump and every member of his family follows the law in this country, which is what we're about.

00:29:52.000 And yet today it's complete hypocrisy.

00:29:54.000 Congresswoman, it's not even about white privilege, because if Don Jr. 0.77

00:29:57.000 had brought a film crew in there and gave everybody the middle finger and bolted, he would have been in shackles.

00:30:03.000 This is Democrat privilege.

00:30:05.000 Is he even allowed to bring a documentary film crew to a hearing about holding himself in contempt?

00:30:13.000 I believe the committee tried to shut it down.

00:30:15.000 I don't believe that is allowed in a hearing like this.

00:30:18.000 And like you said, this was a PR stunt gone awry.

00:30:21.000 The American people knows what this was.

00:30:24.000 This wasn't real.

00:30:25.000 This is for his movie.

00:30:27.000 And this was all completely fake.

00:30:28.000 And the other thing that I want to make the point about today is that I was the only member in the hearing today that has held both the right and the left accountable.

00:30:36.000 So whatever the standard is in this country,

00:30:39.000 Both sides got to be held accountable, and I pointed out the hypocrisy of the left on this issue.

00:30:44.000 Every single one of them, because of how they voted in the past with congressional subpoena power, should have voted to hold Hunter Biden in contempt, but they're too scared to do that. 0.99

00:30:53.000 Oh yeah, they're all hypocrites, all these people are.

00:30:56.000 So is the full House going to hold Hunter in contempt, and does that mean that Biden's Justice Department is going to have to arrest him? 0.98

00:31:02.000 I pray that we do.

00:31:04.000 Everything is there.

00:31:05.000 He should be held in contempt like we've done with others in the past, but it'll be up to a particularly corrupt DOJ to throw him in jail and indict him on it, because all we can do is refer charges once it gets out of the House.

00:31:17.000 All right, so it's not going to look good if he's voted to be held in contempt, and Biden's Justice Department, who I believe they arrested a bunch of Republicans who were held in contempt, doesn't lay a hand on poor little Hunter's head?

00:31:30.000 The former president and the GOP frontrunner, and we note once again that none of the campaigns have input into who was invited, what the questions are that will be asked tonight.

00:31:40.000 Thank you for being here, Mr. President.

00:31:44.000 We appreciate you making the track.

00:31:45.000 And before we begin, we want to offer our condolences to you and the former First Lady Melania Trump for the loss of her mother last night.

00:31:52.000 Thank you very much.

00:31:53.000 Great woman.

00:31:54.000 Thank you very much.

00:31:54.000 Appreciate it.

00:31:55.000 We do want to note that today there was some breaking campaign news.

00:32:02.000 Take a listen.

00:32:04.000 It's clear to me tonight that there isn't a path.

00:32:09.000 For me to win the nomination.

00:32:12.000 Which is why I'm suspending my campaign tonight for President of the United States.

00:32:17.000 I'm going to make sure that in no way do I enable Donald Trump to ever be President of the United States again.

00:32:29.000 So that was the big news.

00:32:30.000 Late today, the former governor of New Jersey dropped out of the race in New Hampshire.

00:32:35.000 You saw it there.

00:32:37.000 There's a lot of speculation now that there could be a combining of forces of the people who supported him.

00:32:42.000 He had about 12 percent there.

00:32:44.000 And by some estimates, you're ahead by an average of 14 in the RealClearPolitics average polling in New Hampshire.

00:32:52.000 So if that 12 goes to Nikki Haley, she could give you a run for your money there.

00:32:58.000 Well, you know, you have Democrats in New Hampshire and they vote and you have independents in New Hampshire in large numbers and they vote.

00:33:06.000 And I have polls that show me leading by a tremendous amount in New Hampshire and a lot in Iowa and nationwide we're leading by almost 60 points.

00:33:15.000 So I'm not exactly worried about it.

00:33:17.000 I understand New Hampshire very well.

00:33:19.000 I've won it twice.

00:33:20.000 And did very well with New Hampshire.

00:33:22.000 I love the people.

00:33:23.000 They love me.

00:33:23.000 I think we did a good job for New Hampshire economically and even from the standpoint of the military taking care of the vets.

00:33:31.000 And I think we're going to do very well in New Hampshire.

00:33:33.000 Now, you know, Chris Christie was in and he got a hot mic I heard about.

00:33:38.000 I thought actually the biggest story wasn't the fact that he dropped out.

00:33:41.000 Nobody cared too much about that.

00:33:43.000 He had a hot mic where he was talking to somebody about the weather and he happened to say that she doesn't have what it takes, she'll be creamed in the election. 0.54

00:33:52.000 And, I mean, I know her very well and I happen to believe that Chris Christie's right.

00:33:55.000 That's one of the few things he's been right about, actually.

00:33:59.000 So you don't think it changes the dynamic much?

00:34:01.000 I don't know if it does or not.

00:34:02.000 Look, we're winning tremendously here.

00:34:04.000 I think we're 20, 24 points up.

00:34:07.000 I brought some polls if you want to see them, you know, just in case.

00:34:10.000 But I think we're 24, 25 points up.

00:34:12.000 But New Hampshire's interesting.

00:34:13.000 It's a great place, a great state, unbelievable people.

00:34:16.000 But they allow independents and Democrats to vote in the Republican primary.

00:34:21.000 You say, what's that all about?

00:34:23.000 So it's a little bit false in that regard.

00:34:25.000 But even with that, I think we'll win substantially.

00:34:28.000 Mr. President, we want to get to our first questioner.

00:34:30.000 Robert is an optometrist from Ankeny.

00:34:34.000 Robert, where are you?

00:34:35.000 Do you know which way you're going to caucus on Monday?

00:34:38.000 Yes, I do.

00:34:39.000 Okay, can we ask you?

00:34:40.000 I'm going to vote for the third time for President Trump.

00:34:43.000 Oh, I like him.

00:34:46.000 I knew I liked Robert.

00:34:48.000 What's your question for the former president?

00:34:51.000 I just wanted to say also thank you, President Trump, for your support of the vets.

00:34:55.000 My wife and I and my oldest son are all veterans of the United States Army.

00:34:59.000 We appreciate it.

00:35:00.000 Thank you very much.

00:35:04.000 Some of my friends that supported you in 2020 are not this time because they believe a Trump presidency will bring four years of chaos due to your haters.

00:35:18.000 What is your response to them?

00:35:20.000 Well, I think, first of all, I'm glad you're asking the question.

00:35:23.000 And I'm very glad that you started off by saying you're with me, because I want you on my side.

00:35:27.000 I figured maybe Fox would have written that question if it was just the second part of the question.

00:35:32.000 But just so you understand... We didn't write any of the questions.

00:35:35.000 You all wrote the questions, just to be clear.

00:35:37.000 We'll figure that one out pretty soon.

00:35:40.000 But they have chaos now.

00:35:42.000 They have chaos at the border.

00:35:43.000 They have chaos in the military.

00:35:45.000 People are going woke.

00:35:45.000 We have the greatest military in the world, except for the top, where they want to, you know, turn this beautiful thing we built.

00:35:52.000 We beat ISIS, knocked them out. 1.00

00:35:54.000 It was supposed to take four years.

00:35:56.000 I did it in literally three months.

00:35:57.000 It was supposed to take four or five years.

00:35:59.000 But we have chaos now.

00:36:01.000 Look at today with Hunter Biden going into Congress and just sitting down and the bedlam that's been caused.

00:36:08.000 Today you have

00:36:10.000 Chaos.

00:36:12.000 We have, I think, more with Joe Biden.

00:36:14.000 He can't put two sentences together and he's representing us on nuclear weapons with Putin and Xi and all of these very smart people.

00:36:22.000 The media hates when I say they're smart.

00:36:25.000 But let me tell you, they're very smart and they're very cunning.

00:36:28.000 And I think he had very little chaos.

00:36:30.000 I think most of the chaos was caused by the Democrats constantly going after me.

00:36:35.000 And remember this.

00:36:36.000 Remember that with phoning Russia, Russia, Russia.

00:36:39.000 I mean if you look at Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, everything was phoning.

00:36:43.000 The Pfizer warrants, the lying to Congress.

00:36:47.000 They had chaos.

00:36:48.000 They were the ones that caused the chaos.

00:36:49.000 We didn't have chaos.

00:36:50.000 We got the biggest tax cuts in history, the biggest regulation cuts in history.

00:36:55.000 I had no wars.

00:36:56.000 I'm the only president in 72 years.

00:36:58.000 I didn't have any wars.

00:37:03.000 And they love that narrative, but they use that narrative because they have nothing else.

00:37:07.000 Now, the new narrative they have, as you know, is I'm going to be a dictator.

00:37:10.000 That's going to be the new narrative.

00:37:12.000 Because a guy like Biden, there's nothing he can run on.

00:37:15.000 Everything he's turned out, it's turned out badly.

00:37:18.000 The border is a disaster, the worst border in history.

00:37:20.000 I think the worst border in the history of the world.

00:37:23.000 We had the best border in the history of our country.

00:37:26.000 We never had a border like that.

00:37:27.000 So I think we had very little chaos.

00:37:29.000 I think we had tremendous success.

00:37:31.000 And frankly, until COVID came along and then we did a great job on that, too.

00:37:34.000 We never got the kind of credit that I got on the economy, but we had the greatest economy in history.

00:37:39.000 And you take a look at our numbers.

00:37:42.000 The numbers were so much better than they are right now.

00:37:44.000 We had no inflation.

00:37:46.000 We were energy independent.

00:37:48.000 We were so we had so much energy.

00:37:50.000 We were ready to start supplying energy, selling energy to Europe, Asia.

00:37:55.000 We would have started to pay down our debt.

00:37:57.000 And then when COVID came along, we had to do a little bit of a course change.

00:38:01.000 But we had an incredible four years.

00:38:03.000 Again, the greatest economy in the history of our country with no inflation.

00:38:08.000 Pretty good.

00:38:31.000 What do you say to him about that?

00:38:32.000 Well, it's a witch hunt by its weaponization.

00:38:36.000 If you look at it, it's election interference by Biden because he can't win it fair and square.

00:38:41.000 So he's doing that.

00:38:42.000 And interestingly, you see what happened in Georgia with Fannie Willis and a million dollars almost to her boyfriend is the prosecutor of Trump.

00:38:51.000 That one's blown up now.

00:38:52.000 It's horrible what has taken place.

00:38:55.000 But it's very interesting when you look at

00:38:58.000 Ron's numbers.

00:38:59.000 He's practically out of the race.

00:39:01.000 In fact, a lot of people say he's leaving the race after Iowa because he's doing so poorly.

00:39:06.000 He's also doing very poorly, as you know, in New Hampshire.

00:39:08.000 I mean, really poorly.

00:39:10.000 And I'm leading Biden in every single poll that's been taken over the last month or two.

00:39:15.000 I just see one.

00:39:16.000 I'm leading in Michigan by 11.

00:39:18.000 That's great.

00:39:19.000 The autoworkers are smart.

00:39:20.000 They know that Biden has sold them down the tubes.

00:39:24.000 With the electric cars, all electric car mandate, the craziest thing I've ever heard.

00:39:28.000 And they're going to all be made in China too.

00:39:31.000 So I think when you look at what we've done, we are doing a great job and we did a great job, and that's why I'm leading in the polls by 60 and 70 points.

00:39:40.000 You know, in recent days, you seem to issue a warning that if in the courts, and even the US Supreme Court, if they didn't treat you fairly,

00:39:49.000 I'll say what Donald Trump won't.

00:39:50.000 Political violence is never, ever acceptable in the United States political system.

00:39:53.000 Never, never, never.

00:40:15.000 All right, so to Robert's question, this is clearly a focus of the Biden campaign.

00:40:20.000 So can you say tonight that political violence is never acceptable?

00:40:25.000 Well, of course, that's right.

00:40:26.000 And of course, I'm the one that had very little of it.

00:40:29.000 Take a look at wars again.

00:40:31.000 I didn't start.

00:40:32.000 I wasn't involved in wars.

00:40:33.000 We beat the hell out of ISIS. 0.78

00:40:35.000 We won 100 percent.

00:40:36.000 We brought our troops back home.

00:40:39.000 Look at look at the violence that we've had.

00:40:41.000 Look at the violence we have recently.

00:40:43.000 But when you say Bedlam,

00:40:45.000 What do you mean?

00:40:45.000 I think you're Bedlam.

00:40:46.000 I think you look at Joe Biden.

00:40:47.000 It's Bedlam.

00:40:48.000 You have a man who can't lead. 0.71

00:40:50.000 You have a man who can't find his way off a stage after he makes a speech that lasts for about two minutes.

00:40:55.000 No, I think Bedlam is Joe Biden.

00:40:57.000 I think that he's using this.

00:40:59.000 This is just a political ploy. 0.98

00:41:01.000 Trump is a dictator. 0.53

00:41:02.000 He wants to be a dictator. 0.93

00:41:04.000 You know, it's interesting.

00:41:05.000 I did a show.

00:41:06.000 Sean Hannity.

00:41:06.000 Did you ever hear of him?

00:41:07.000 He's a very nice man.

00:41:09.000 And he said, essentially,

00:41:10.000 You're not going to be a dictator, are you?

00:41:12.000 Tell me.

00:41:12.000 I think he was trying to give me a nicer question than maybe you guys would.

00:41:15.000 He meant it very well.

00:41:17.000 I said, I'm going to be a dictator for one day.

00:41:21.000 We're going to do two things.

00:41:23.000 The border.

00:41:24.000 We're going to make it so tight you can't get in unless you come in legally. 1.00

00:41:29.000 And the other is energy.

00:41:30.000 We're going to drill, baby, drill.

00:41:31.000 After that, I'm not going to be a dictator.

00:41:33.000 After that, I'm not going to be a dictator.

00:41:37.000 And the press picks it up.

00:41:40.000 So I said, I'm going to be a dictator for one day.

00:41:42.000 They cut it.

00:41:43.000 They go, I'm going to be a dictator.

00:41:46.000 But they cut the rest of the sentence.

00:41:48.000 No, no, I am not going to be a dictator.

00:41:50.000 I'm going to manage like we did.

00:41:53.000 We were so successful that the country was coming together.

00:41:58.000 It was actually coming together and coming together well.

00:42:01.000 It was a beautiful thing to see.

00:42:03.000 And we're going to do that again.

00:42:05.000 By the way, that's why I have the poll numbers that I have, because the people, I think this audience is an example.

00:42:13.000 I mean, I asked, I asked a question, I said,

00:42:18.000 How many people came last night?

00:42:20.000 How many people came the night before?

00:42:23.000 And I got a very honest answer.

00:42:25.000 Not many compared to what we have.

00:42:26.000 We had a great crowd and have a great crowd.

00:42:28.000 We want to hear from some more of them.

00:42:30.000 We do have a big crowd tonight.

00:42:31.000 That's absolutely true.

00:42:32.000 So let's hear from Jane Jack, who is a teacher from Rhodes, Iowa.

00:42:37.000 Jane, thank you so much for being here.

00:42:39.000 And you said that you plan to caucus for DeSantis, but you're not completely decided.

00:42:44.000 Is that right?

00:42:45.000 No, I am firmly, I will be caucusing for DeSantis, but I will say, Mr. President, I am extremely grateful that in your first term you accomplished so many great things, but it was also with the help of many great people.

00:43:00.000 Since that time, you have publicly criticized and personally demeaned so many of them.

00:43:06.000 If you're given four more years, how will you convince good people to take the risk of working with you?

00:43:13.000 So I have a lot of people that want to work with me.

00:43:15.000 I have people calling.

00:43:16.000 Just as I'm getting on the stage, I had a call from two of the very most important people in the military who want to come to work for me.

00:43:23.000 Everybody wants to come to work for us.

00:43:25.000 We're going to have no trouble.

00:43:27.000 We had great people.

00:43:28.000 We had a couple that were not great.

00:43:30.000 Stiffs, as I would call them.

00:43:32.000 But that's true with anybody.

00:43:33.000 But now I've gotten to know Washington.

00:43:36.000 I've gotten to know the people.

00:43:37.000 I know the best. 0.99

00:43:38.000 I know the smart ones, the dumb ones, the weak ones, the strong ones. 0.97

00:43:42.000 And I think you're going to see something like you've never seen before. 0.99

00:43:45.000 And the people in this room know it.

00:43:47.000 We did an amazing job.

00:43:49.000 And the reason we have support is because of the job we did.

00:43:54.000 You like Ron DeSantis, but he wouldn't even be around today.

00:43:56.000 He'd be working in a pizza shop or perhaps a law firm if I didn't endorse him.

00:44:01.000 You know, I endorsed him, took him from nothing to winning an election, and I was all for him.

00:44:07.000 And then one day he said he had run against me four years later after I got him in and I said,

00:44:12.000 That's not a loyal person.

00:44:14.000 We can't have that.

00:44:14.000 That's not a loyal person.

00:44:16.000 So I think you'll be very impressed with what we're going to do.

00:44:19.000 We're going to have the greatest economy in the world, which we don't right now.

00:44:23.000 We have horrible, horrible inflation.

00:44:26.000 And you know, you're never going to get that 30 percent down.

00:44:29.000 You might even it, but you're not going to get it down.

00:44:32.000 So, but thank you very much.

00:44:33.000 I appreciate it.

00:44:34.000 Let me just ask you a follow-up on that about who would be in your cabinet, in your administration.

00:44:39.000 If you are the nominee, which I know you expect to be, who would be in the running for vice president?

00:44:44.000 Well, I can't tell you that really.

00:44:46.000 I mean, I know who it's going to be.

00:44:48.000 Give us a hint.

00:44:48.000 I'll give you, we'll do another show sometime.

00:44:50.000 Well, what about any of the people who you've run against?

00:44:53.000 Would you be open to mending fences with any of them?

00:44:55.000 Oh sure, I will.

00:44:56.000 I will.

00:44:56.000 I've already started like Christie better.

00:45:03.000 Christie for Vice President.

00:45:06.000 I don't see it.

00:45:07.000 I don't see it.

00:45:07.000 That would be an upset.

00:45:08.000 Christy for Vice President.

00:45:09.000 Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to announce... I do want to get to this other question before we move on to the big issues, and that is Jacqueline.

00:45:18.000 She is from West Des Moines, and I think you said you're undecided, or you're making your decision.

00:45:25.000 That's correct.

00:45:26.000 And do you have a couple people that you're looking at?

00:45:29.000 Trump and Vivek.

00:45:30.000 Okay, and what's your question tonight for the former president?

00:45:34.000 My question is, I would like to know, what do you plan to do in your next term that you didn't quite get finished during your first term?

00:45:44.000 Well, one of the things would be energy, even though I set records on energy, but I was going to be energy dominant.

00:45:49.000 We were energy independent, and we had your bills down low.

00:45:53.000 We had your gasoline for the car down to $1.87 a gallon.

00:45:59.000 We had it down even lower than that at some points.

00:46:01.000 Now it's at $4 and $5.

00:46:04.000 That's not acceptable.

00:46:05.000 Your home heating bills are four and five times higher than they were with me.

00:46:10.000 So I'd be doing that.

00:46:11.000 I'd be doing... I'd finish up the wall.

00:46:13.000 You know, we built over 500 miles of wall.

00:46:16.000 That's one of the reasons we had the great... And we got Mexico, by the way.

00:46:21.000 We got Mexico, very importantly, to give us 28,000 soldiers free of charge.

00:46:26.000 That's more money than anybody can even imagine, free of charge.

00:46:30.000 And we also remain in Mexico policy, not remain here, remain in Mexico.

00:46:36.000 So we did a lot of great things, and I would just say we're going to just keep expanding.

00:46:41.000 We rebuilt the military.

00:46:43.000 We even did something that hopefully nobody in this room needs so but right to try where we're able to use space age medicines that won't be approved for four or five years that work in many cases and I've saved thousands and thousands of lives with right to try.

00:47:00.000 Thank you very much.

00:47:03.000 So we're going to take a quick break.

00:47:04.000 We're going to go talk about the economy when we come back.

00:47:07.000 That is the number one issue in every poll on voters' minds.

00:47:10.000 So join us when we come right back with lots more questions for President Trump.

00:47:14.000 Good to have you here, sir.

00:47:26.000 My name's Brian Haffner, and because of TikTok, I have the power to educate people.

00:47:32.000 There's part one of the town hall.

00:47:35.000 It's an excellent night.

00:47:36.000 President Trump is out there and he's answering all the questions.

00:47:39.000 And you know, the thing that strikes you most about President Trump is the personality.

00:47:56.000 We're just going to keep talking here?

00:47:57.000 I can't talk in front of Trump because I live in Florida, but I wanted to come out to support President Trump and, you know, just express my gratitude to him because he really is the greatest president we've ever had.

00:48:18.000 And I want to recognize as well... Yes?

00:48:25.000 I want to thank the owners tonight of Destination Grill, both of them who are here tonight, who were so generous to actually comp their venue tonight.

00:48:35.000 And also... Mark, do you want to say a few words?

00:48:44.000 Mark actually donated all of the food here tonight.

00:48:48.000 All of the food and all of the drinks and his venue space tonight.

00:48:52.000 It's a beautiful venue space.

00:48:53.000 He's a Trump supporter who believes in free speech.

00:48:56.000 He's actually hosted events here for Vivek Ramaswamy and Ron DeSantis, but he is a Trump supporter and when I flew in from Florida and said I wanted a place to host a watch party for everybody who couldn't get inside the Fox News Town Hall, he was more than welcome and he said, come on in and let me

00:49:13.000 Let me do what I can to help.

00:49:15.000 So if you want to say a few words about your business before we get back.

00:49:42.000 And take care of gold star families, catastrophically injured service members, and first responders.

00:49:49.000 Go to T2T.org.

00:49:51.000 It only takes $11 a month to make a positive impact.

00:50:01.000 Thank you, Mark.

00:50:02.000 I also want to take a moment to recognize elected officials and previous elected officials who have joined us tonight.

00:50:09.000 We are honored to have Congressman Steve King here with us tonight.

00:50:19.000 Congressman Steve King has always been a strong supporter of President Trump.

00:50:23.000 He's endorsed Vivek on the issue of eminent domain, but he has assured me that when President Trump wins the Iowa caucus, that he will be giving President Trump his endorsement.

00:50:34.000 And so, you know, Steve King has always been a man of integrity and honor.

00:50:37.000 He was one of the first to endorse me when I ran for Congress.

00:50:40.000 And I think that means a lot that, you know, he can have differences on one issue, right, this issue of eminent domain, but still come out to support President Trump tonight and support free speech.

00:50:51.000 And he's always been a fighter.

00:50:52.000 And I'll tell you, he's the best congressman your state has ever had and probably will ever have.

00:51:03.000 And so we're here.

00:51:04.000 We have, from what I understand, we also have some state representatives.

00:51:08.000 If you're a state representative here, please stand up if you came tonight to support.

00:51:16.000 What's his name?

00:51:18.000 Mark Cisneros, who's a member of the Iowa House of Representatives, who has endorsed President Trump.

00:51:25.000 So thank you so much for coming out.

00:51:29.000 And I know there's more people on their way as well.

00:51:31.000 It's just that it started to snow pretty heavily right as the event was beginning.

00:51:35.000 But I also want to say thank you to the Trump campaign.

00:51:39.000 This is not a Trump campaign event, but they were gracious enough to

00:51:43.000 Welcome back to our town hall with former President Donald Trump live from Des Moines.

00:51:48.000 Let's get back to some questions.

00:51:49.000 Yeah, let's get right back to our questions.

00:51:50.000 This one's from Shelly Flockhart.

00:51:53.000 There she is.

00:51:54.000 Hi.

00:51:55.000 Shelly, thank you for coming out tonight.

00:51:57.000 What are you thinking about Monday night and who you're going to support?

00:52:00.000 And what's your question for President Trump?

00:52:03.000 He's sitting right there.

00:52:04.000 Oh, thank you.

00:52:05.000 I knew that.

00:52:07.000 I knew that when I looked at you.

00:52:09.000 Thank you very much.

00:52:10.000 Appreciate it.

00:52:11.000 Yes, so my question is, you're a business owner, I'm a business owner, I own a small business and time is money.

00:52:19.000 Would you ever allow a shutdown in the future?

00:52:22.000 A shutdown in terms of COVID?

00:52:26.000 Or a shutdown in terms of budget?

00:52:28.000 Because, you know, they're talking about a budget shutdown right now, but you're talking about a COVID shutdown.

00:52:32.000 Correct.

00:52:32.000 No, I wouldn't.

00:52:33.000 And I never did.

00:52:34.000 I let the governors make their decisions.

00:52:36.000 And some of them, like from South Carolina, you know, Henry McMaster and, frankly, North Dakota, a few of them.

00:52:44.000 Tennessee, they didn't shut down at all.

00:52:46.000 Florida did shut down. 0.96

00:52:47.000 Ron DeSanctis shut down.

00:52:49.000 Or, as he's known, Ron DeSanctimonious.

00:52:53.000 He shut his state down very violently, actually, and shut the highways down, the roads down.

00:52:58.000 But we had... I'm a Federalist, in a sense, because that's the Federalist way.

00:53:03.000 No, I didn't actually have a shutdown, despite the fact that some people wanted to, and some people didn't want to.

00:53:08.000 But we had some great governors, and the governors that did the best job were Republican governors, and they were the ones that didn't shut down.

00:53:16.000 Thank you very much.

00:53:18.000 Love you.

00:53:18.000 Appreciate it.

00:53:20.000 But a lot of people say, you know, that you listen too much to Dr. Fauci.

00:53:23.000 You were president at the time.

00:53:25.000 Could have perhaps influenced keeping things more open.

00:53:29.000 And of course, Ron DeSantis would definitely argue with your characterization of how he handled it.

00:53:35.000 But if you go back and look at the records, you will see that the biggest fan of Dr. Fauci was Ron DeSanctimonious.

00:53:41.000 He was a big fan.

00:53:42.000 He said, I go by exactly quote, I go by what Dr. Fauci said.

00:53:48.000 He said that two months in, all the way through.

00:53:50.000 And that eventually changed when it wasn't, you know, that wasn't the dessert of the day.

00:53:54.000 But Ron DeSantis was a big Dr. Fauci fan, and nobody wants to cover that.

00:53:59.000 I say it every time.

00:54:00.000 I don't care if he was or not.

00:54:01.000 But, you know, when they hit me with this question, Dr. Fauci was not a huge factor in my administration.

00:54:10.000 He became a much bigger factor in Biden's administration.

00:54:13.000 He was there.

00:54:14.000 He was somebody that was in government for 40 years.

00:54:17.000 He did it for 40 years.

00:54:19.000 So long time and what do I say, you know, you've been doing this for 40 years, get out.

00:54:23.000 But he wasn't a big factor with me.

00:54:25.000 He was a really big factor after I left.

00:54:29.000 You know, on an economic shutdown, you said this week in an interview that if there's an economic crash, that you hope it happens now.

00:54:39.000 Yeah.

00:54:39.000 That you don't want to be Herbert Hoover.

00:54:41.000 I don't want to be Herbert Hoover.

00:54:42.000 You're not saying you're hoping for a crash, just to be clear.

00:54:45.000 No, I think this.

00:54:47.000 I think the economy is horrible, except the stock market's going up.

00:54:51.000 And I think the stock market's going up because I'm leading Biden in all of the polls.

00:54:56.000 Every poll.

00:54:57.000 Every single poll for the last...

00:54:59.000 With states that normally are not easy to lead.

00:55:02.000 You know, when you're leading in Pennsylvania, you're leading in Michigan, you're leading in Wisconsin.

00:55:07.000 We're leading in virtually every state of the swing states.

00:55:10.000 And overall, we're leading by a lot nationwide.

00:55:13.000 But I would say this.

00:55:15.000 We have a situation which I believe the stock market goes up because I'm leading.

00:55:21.000 I think if I wasn't leading, the stock market would be 25% lower.

00:55:26.000 And I think, frankly, if I didn't win, I think the stock market would crash.

00:55:30.000 But you said, when there's a crash, I hope it's going to be during this next 12 months because I don't want to be Herbert Hoover.

00:55:36.000 Well, I think there will be a crash if I don't win.

00:55:38.000 And I say that, and I do not want to be Herbert Hoover.

00:55:41.000 Do you know who Herbert Hoover was?

00:55:42.000 1929, he was the president, and that was not a good time to be.

00:55:46.000 I don't want to be Herbert Hoover.

00:55:48.000 And I won't be Herbert Hoover.

00:55:50.000 So with regard to, you know, when Governor Haley was here the other night, she talked about the $8 trillion added to the debt when you were president.

00:55:59.000 How do you address that?

00:56:00.000 Very easily.

00:56:02.000 We were doing better than anybody has ever done for two and a half years.

00:56:06.000 And then COVID came along.

00:56:08.000 We were getting ready to start selling oil to Asia, to Europe.

00:56:12.000 We're going to pay down our debt, where we were at that time at like $29 trillion.

00:56:16.000 Now we're $36 trillion.

00:56:20.000 But we're going to start paying down our debt.

00:56:22.000 We're going to do things that nobody could believe.

00:56:23.000 You take a look at Saudi Arabia.

00:56:25.000 You take a look at some of these countries.

00:56:27.000 Take a look at Russia. 0.60

00:56:28.000 I mean, Biden drove up the cost of energy.

00:56:31.000 That's what caused inflation.

00:56:32.000 But it's also what caused Putin to become rich enough to go and prosecute a war.

00:56:37.000 And he never even talks about it.

00:56:38.000 He's the one that caused that war, both rhetorically and by the fact that he drove up the price of oil to $100 a barrel, which is getting close to record.

00:56:50.000 And Putin was making a fortune.

00:56:51.000 He's the only guy who made a fortune during a war.

00:56:54.000 If he didn't have it—I was at $40 a barrel.

00:56:57.000 If he was at $40 a barrel, Putin wouldn't have done it.

00:57:01.000 Now, he wouldn't have done it for another reason—me.

00:57:03.000 He wouldn't have done it.

00:57:04.000 But he also wouldn't have done it because he couldn't have done it because oil wasn't high enough.

00:57:11.000 At $100 a barrel, he made a lot of money.

00:57:13.000 And he's making a lot of money because it's so high.

00:57:16.000 And it's also what caused the inflation.

00:57:19.000 Because energy is so big, it's such a big deal, that when energy goes up, if you make donuts, if you make hamburgers, anything you do,

00:57:30.000 We're good to go.

00:57:44.000 Of energy, the highest cost of energy of any state in the nation.

00:57:48.000 They should vote for me because I'm going to cut their energy price in half.

00:57:52.000 So when Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis hit you again and again on this $8 trillion figure and call you a big government republic, what do you say?

00:57:59.000 I say very simply, we were starting to pay down debt.

00:58:03.000 We were going to pay down a lot of debt when COVID came along.

00:58:06.000 If I didn't inject this country with money,

00:58:09.000 You would have had a depression the likes of which you've never seen.

00:58:12.000 You had to inject money.

00:58:14.000 We gave businesses that were going bankrupt, temporarily bankrupt, but they needed money.

00:58:19.000 We helped businesses.

00:58:21.000 If I didn't do that, you would have had a depression in this country.

00:58:25.000 That was a very good investment.

00:58:27.000 And now, what they should be doing, instead of the kind of debt that they're building at record levels, they should be paying down their debt, and they ought to go into the energy business instead of this green new scam business that they're in.

00:58:39.000 But what about the future?

00:58:40.000 What about cutting spending?

00:58:42.000 $34 trillion in debt.

00:58:44.000 You know, let's look at what you would do in terms of getting that number down.

00:58:48.000 What would you get rid of?

00:58:49.000 We have a lot of cutting, but we also have a lot of income.

00:58:52.000 We have more liquid gold under our feet, energy,

00:58:56.000 All right.

00:59:14.000 Saudi Arabia and Russia combined, and we were going to make a lot of money.

00:59:18.000 We have a lot of potential income.

00:59:21.000 DeSantis wants to cut Social Security and Medicare.

00:59:25.000 Nikki Haley wants to cut Social Security and Medicare. 0.96

00:59:27.000 Nikki Haley wanted to raise the age from 65 to 74, 75 or 76. 0.97

00:59:33.000 But only for young people in their 20s.

00:59:36.000 I mean, that's going to run out of money.

00:59:39.000 That's what they say.

00:59:40.000 So at some point, someone has to address it, right?

00:59:42.000 That's what they say when it starts.

00:59:43.000 They say only for young people.

00:59:45.000 It's only for young people. 0.90

00:59:47.000 And then it doesn't work for young people and they end up getting up to people that are of the age where it matters.

00:59:52.000 No good.

00:59:52.000 Alright, let's go to Kim, a small business owner from Brines, is that correct?

00:59:58.000 Kim, where are you?

00:59:59.000 That is correct.

01:00:00.000 Do you know who you're caucusing for Monday?

01:00:03.000 I am proud to say I am a caucus captain.

01:00:06.000 For?

01:00:07.000 President Trump.

01:00:08.000 With a white and gold hat.

01:00:10.000 I have that white and gold hat.

01:00:11.000 Thank you very much.

01:00:13.000 That's beautiful.

01:00:13.000 Thank you very much.

01:00:15.000 What's your question for the former president?

01:00:17.000 You've said that you can take care of the border in 24 hours after taking office.

01:00:23.000 How will you gather the several millions that have already entered our country illegally and return them to their country of origin? 1.00

01:00:31.000 Great question.

01:00:33.000 It's not sustainable for our country.

01:00:36.000 We have millions and millions of people here.

01:00:38.000 It is not sustainable.

01:00:40.000 Did you see in New York City with it getting

01:00:43.000 The

01:01:08.000 She came in saying that she was, if I remember correctly, you were leaning towards President Trump.

01:01:12.000 But you did say you heard some things last night that you liked.

01:01:16.000 So where are you tonight?

01:01:19.000 I spoke with a lot of my really close friends after last night.

01:01:22.000 They were all up and wanted to know how it went.

01:01:24.000 And we got back to President Trump.

01:01:27.000 I love you!

01:01:30.000 You just mentioned, I think, something that you're concerned about.

01:01:35.000 What's your question?

01:01:37.000 You just answered part of it, that our kids were displaced in New York City, in the place of illegal migrants.

01:01:45.000 So, what I want to know, in the spirit of making America great again, can you do something about the sanctuary cities?

01:01:53.000 Well, they're going to be ended because the Democrats are going to end them because you can't sustain it.

01:01:57.000 If you look at New York, you have a mayor of New York who now is really hostile to the administration because New York City, that's my place.

01:02:04.000 I love New York.

01:02:06.000 It's gone.

01:02:07.000 It's had a tough time.

01:02:08.000 The previous mayor was the worst mayor in the history of our country, de Blasio.

01:02:13.000 Do you ever hear of de Blasio?

01:02:14.000 The worst.

01:02:15.000 But what's happened is

01:02:17.000 We cannot, this country cannot sustain 15 or 16 million people because I think that's the real number.

01:02:23.000 I think by the time his administration ends, and hopefully quickly, it's going to be 18 million people.

01:02:30.000 That's bigger than New York State.

01:02:31.000 That's bigger than just about every state other than one or two.

01:02:35.000 Eighteen million people.

01:02:36.000 Remember this.

01:02:38.000 Many of those people come from jails and prisons.

01:02:41.000 Many of those people come from mental institutions and insane asylums.

01:02:45.000 And many of those people are terrorists.

01:02:47.000 You know, I saw on Fox the other day, it was horrible but beautiful because from my standpoint, in 2016,

01:02:54.000 They had no terrorists that they know of that came into the country.

01:02:57.000 None.

01:02:57.000 You know, I had the travel ban.

01:02:58.000 They call it the Trump travel ban.

01:03:00.000 They tried to make a big deal.

01:03:01.000 The Supreme Court very intelligently approved it.

01:03:04.000 Without that, we would have had blowups.

01:03:06.000 We had no terrorist attacks at all during my four years.

01:03:10.000 We had the Trump travel ban.

01:03:11.000 And by the way, Iran was broke.

01:03:14.000 Iran was broke.

01:03:15.000 I said to China, if you buy oil from Iran, you're not dealing in here. 0.99

01:03:19.000 They immediately dropped.

01:03:20.000 India, France, Italy, all of these countries were buying from Iran.

01:03:26.000 Iran would give out billions of dollars to terrorists.

01:03:30.000 They had no money.

01:03:31.000 I watched a Democrat congressman the other day on one of the shows.

01:03:35.000 And he said, I'll say one thing about Trump.

01:03:37.000 He said, Trump, I'll say one thing about Trump.

01:03:40.000 When he, uh, when he did that number on Iran, they were broke.

01:03:44.000 They were absolutely broke.

01:03:45.000 When I left, they were broke.

01:03:46.000 They had no money.

01:03:47.000 There was no money for Hamas, for Hezbollah.

01:03:49.000 There was no money for anybody.

01:03:51.000 They had no money.

01:03:52.000 And you would say that too.

01:03:53.000 I mean, I think even the two of you would say they were absolutely stoned.

01:03:58.000 And you know how much money they have now?

01:04:00.000 In three years, under Biden, they have $250 billion.

01:04:05.000 Again, the energy business is a big business.

01:04:08.000 And not to mention the five hostages that they paid $6 billion for, not to mention they got $10 billion for supplying some electricity to Iraq, which, by the way, they own.

01:04:21.000 And Iraq has $300 billion.

01:04:23.000 And essentially, it's a subsidiary.

01:04:25.000 It's a subsidiary of

01:04:27.000 Of Iran. 0.82

01:04:28.000 It should have never happened.

01:04:29.000 Iraq—remember I used to say a long time ago when I was a civilian—now I'm sort of a civilian, but I think I'll never be quite a civilian again.

01:04:36.000 I'd love to be.

01:04:37.000 But I used to say, don't go into Iraq.

01:04:40.000 Don't do it.

01:04:41.000 Don't do it.

01:04:42.000 But if you're going to do it, keep the oil.

01:04:44.000 Remember, keep the oil?

01:04:44.000 They didn't keep the oil.

01:04:46.000 So they have $300 billion.

01:04:48.000 And we have nothing.

01:04:50.000 We have nothing.

01:04:52.000 You know, they used to say about wars, to the victor belong the spoils.

01:04:56.000 We go into someplace, we obliterate it, and then we leave. 1.00

01:04:59.000 We are run by fools. 1.00

01:05:01.000 We're run by stupid people. 1.00

01:05:03.000 But we ran it very smart for four years and we won everything. 1.00

01:05:07.000 We won everything.

01:05:08.000 Mr. President, you're talking a lot about policy.

01:05:09.000 You get questions about what a second term is going to look like.

01:05:12.000 When you're in your rallies, you spend a lot of time talking about retribution.

01:05:17.000 And so there are questions about how much a second term of a Donald Trump presidency, second term, would be about retribution and looking backwards and grievances and how much would be looking forward.

01:05:29.000 Well, first of all, a lot of people would say that that's not so bad.

01:05:31.000 Look what they did.

01:05:32.000 Russia, Russia, Russia hoax.

01:05:34.000 The FBI Twitter hoax.

01:05:36.000 The 51 intelligence agents hoax.

01:05:39.000 All of these different hoaxes that they did.

01:05:41.000 I mean, you know, a lot of people would say that's probably quite normal.

01:05:45.000 I'm not going to have time for retribution.

01:05:47.000 We're going to make this country so successful again.

01:05:49.000 I'm not going to have time for retribution.

01:05:51.000 And remember this, our ultimate retribution is success.

01:05:57.000 When we had just prior to the China virus coming in, if you don't mind, I'd like to be accurate as opposed to COVID.

01:06:04.000 It is the China virus.

01:06:05.000 It came out of Wuhan.

01:06:06.000 And I said a long time ago in your show, it came out of Wuhan.

01:06:10.000 They were saying it came out of caves, bat caves, 2,000 miles away.

01:06:13.000 It came out of Italy.

01:06:14.000 It came out of France.

01:06:15.000 No, it came out of Wuhan, the labs.

01:06:17.000 And I don't, and by the way, I don't think

01:06:20.000 It was done.

01:06:37.000 Four hundred billion dollars in tariffs and taxes from China.

01:06:42.000 And one of the reasons China's not doing so well today is because of those tariffs.

01:06:46.000 And Biden wants to cut them.

01:06:47.000 You know, he got paid off by China after all, so he wants to help the people that gave him a lot of money.

01:06:51.000 But he's a Manchurian candidate in a true sense.

01:06:54.000 He got money from China.

01:06:55.000 He got money from Russia.

01:06:57.000 You remember the debate where Chris Wallace, how is he doing, I wonder, but Chris Wallace, when I said, when I said to Biden, I asked him a question.

01:07:05.000 I said, how come you got three and a half million dollars from the mayor of Moscow's wife?

01:07:10.000 And Chris Wallace wouldn't let me ask me.

01:07:11.000 I said, why are you stopping this?

01:07:13.000 Now it's turned out to be a big deal.

01:07:15.000 I got three and a half million dollars from the mayor of Moscow's wife.

01:07:18.000 I tell you this, we're going to have a success that's so great that I won't have, hopefully, I won't have time for retribution.

01:07:25.000 There won't be retribution, there'll be success.

01:07:28.000 Mr. President, before we wrap up this, you know, there is this report, House Democrats, documents that say that nearly $8 million in payments to your businesses from foreign governments, China included, Saudi Arabia, while you were in office.

01:07:42.000 They say Article 1 of the Constitution says you can't accept money from foreign governments while president.

01:07:46.000 Would you pledge to divest from your business in the second term, as other presidents have done?

01:07:51.000 That's what they're reporting.

01:07:53.000 I own hotels all over the place.

01:07:55.000 I don't get free money.

01:07:56.000 Somebody rents a hotel room, et cetera, et cetera.

01:07:58.000 Much money I gave back.

01:08:00.000 In fact, I didn't have to do it.

01:08:01.000 You know, George Washington was a very rich man.

01:08:03.000 People don't know that.

01:08:05.000 In his essentially White House, which wasn't built, but they had an office, he had a business desk and he had a country desk right next to each other.

01:08:13.000 You're allowed to do that.

01:08:15.000 I didn't do it.

01:08:16.000 I put everything in trust.

01:08:18.000 And if I have a hotel and somebody comes in from China, that's a small amount of money and it sounds like a lot of money.

01:08:23.000 That's a small.

01:08:24.000 But I was doing services for that.

01:08:25.000 People were staying in these massive hotels, these beautiful hotels.

01:08:29.000 Because I have the best hotels.

01:08:30.000 I have the best clubs.

01:08:32.000 I have the best clubs.

01:08:33.000 I have great stuff.

01:08:35.000 And they stay there, and they pay.

01:08:37.000 I don't get $8 million for doing nothing, like Hunter.

01:08:40.000 I don't get $500,000.

01:08:41.000 I don't get $500,000 for doing a painting.

01:08:46.000 It's not a bad idea, I guess, if you can get away with it.

01:08:49.000 When I heard that, when I said, there's no way they get away with that.

01:08:52.000 But they got away with that, I guess.

01:08:53.000 They got away with it.

01:08:56.000 We have, you know, there was an Amalia Minch lawsuit against me where the radical left sued me for that, and I won the suit.

01:09:03.000 And the judge said, they go to his hotels, what's he going to do?

01:09:07.000 There you go.

01:09:09.000 We want to hear more from Iowa voters.

01:09:10.000 We're going to take a quick break.

01:09:12.000 We'll be back here in Des Moines with more of our town hall with former President Donald Trump.

01:09:27.000 President Trump.

01:09:28.000 Another town hall.

01:09:29.000 Another great, great segment over here.

01:09:32.000 And we are here.

01:09:33.000 We almost ran late because we're with some fabulous people.

01:09:36.000 There's some people running for office, some people in elected office.

01:09:40.000 Tons of energy in this room.

01:09:42.000 And Laura's still out mingling because there's just so many people to talk to.

01:09:45.000 If you're watching, talk about it in the chat.

01:09:47.000 What is your favorite moment been of the town hall so far?

01:09:51.000 There's so many moments.

01:09:52.000 So much happening.

01:09:54.000 And the fact of the matter is, the energy right now in the Republican Party is with the America First movement.

01:10:01.000 The only two candidates that are talking America First are the only two that anybody really cares to vote for.

01:10:07.000 DeSantis and Haley.

01:10:10.000 Our frauds, and they're having a debate.

01:10:12.000 I just found this out as I'm on this livestream.

01:10:14.000 DeSantis and Haley are right now having a debate.

01:10:17.000 It's a throwback to 2004, because that's the policies that they're bringing to you.

01:10:20.000 They're bringing to you George W. Bush on steroids.

01:10:24.000 We don't need those guys in the party anymore. 1.00

01:10:26.000 Christie understood that he wasn't getting anywhere, so he ran his fat ass back. 0.99

01:10:29.000 To wherever he came from. 0.99

01:10:31.000 And I feel bad for the grocery store that is going to have to supply that stress binge eating that's about to go on.

01:10:37.000 Chris Christie is out.

01:10:39.000 He won't be VP.

01:10:40.000 He won't be VP of anything.

01:10:41.000 Maybe of the supermarket at the local place, but... And here is the fabulous Laura Loomis.

01:10:46.000 It's going great, right?

01:10:48.000 We have Congressman Steve King who just showed up and you know he's endorsed Vivek Ramaswamy but he has assured me that when President Trump wins the nomination that he will be supporting President Trump, right?

01:11:00.000 Steve King is great.

01:11:02.000 And they gave him a raw deal.

01:11:03.000 Oh yeah.

01:11:03.000 Yes, absolutely.

01:11:04.000 They definitely did.

01:11:05.000 He was the original America First in Congress.

01:11:07.000 I believe we can get him over here for an interview.

01:11:08.000 I think he was one of the first.

01:11:09.000 You want me to go grab him?

01:11:10.000 You want to go grab Congressman Steve King?

01:11:12.000 Yeah.

01:11:12.000 We're going to get Congressman Steve King.

01:11:13.000 He's absolutely a great one.

01:11:15.000 And we need more people like him.

01:11:16.000 We need more fighters like him.

01:11:17.000 We need more fighters like Trump.

01:11:18.000 We just need fighters.

01:11:20.000 Absolutely.

01:11:20.000 We're so tired of being lied to and so tired of people like Speaker Mike Johnson.

01:11:25.000 I hate to say it.

01:11:26.000 I was right about him.

01:11:27.000 Who get in.

01:11:27.000 Did you hear he's having a fundraiser with Speaker Boehner?

01:11:30.000 Right now?

01:11:31.000 In February, he'll be having a fundraiser with Boehner.

01:11:33.000 Of course.

01:11:33.000 And I, you know, I want it to be right.

01:11:35.000 I said, Boehner's great.

01:11:37.000 No.

01:11:38.000 Not at all.

01:11:39.000 Alright, here is the Iowa legend himself, Congressman Steve King.

01:11:45.000 We're live on air right now.

01:11:46.000 Great to be here with you, Laura.

01:11:49.000 Thank you so much for making time.

01:11:51.000 I know that we saw you earlier at the Iowa State Capitol where you were there endorsing Vivek Ramaswamy.

01:11:59.000 You've always been a supporter of President Trump's, but I understand the issue of eminent domain is very important to you.

01:12:06.000 But we don't hold it against you, you know, because we need leaders for the future.

01:12:11.000 And while I support President Trump for 2024, I do think that Vivek would be, you know, a great candidate in 2028.

01:12:18.000 Well, and we know this, that I've never been anti-Trump.

01:12:21.000 You've never been anti-Trump.

01:12:22.000 I've always been pro-Trump.

01:12:23.000 Always.

01:12:23.000 And so now, but I want to see Vivek step up because he's the strongest voice on property rights, the strongest voice on constitutional rights.

01:12:31.000 And I'd love to see President Trump step in and take that same position.

01:12:35.000 I think he believes that.

01:12:37.000 And if he would just use his megaphone between now and the caucus night, he could kill off that boondoggle CO2 pipeline that's trampling our property rights right now.

01:12:45.000 And I hope he does that.

01:12:46.000 I hope so as well, and I know that President Trump has, you know, spoken out about this issue.

01:12:52.000 He spoke out last week, and hopefully, you know, I know that you committed to me when I asked you, well, you know, if President Trump wins the Iowa caucus and he's officially the GOP nominee, which I believe he will be, you said that he has your full support and endorsement, right?

01:13:05.000 Oh, absolutely.

01:13:06.000 There isn't one iota of hesitation when it comes to that.

01:13:06.000 Yes.

01:13:09.000 And furthermore, as two people that have been, well,

01:13:13.000 Three people.

01:13:13.000 You've been run through the gristmill.

01:13:15.000 I have been run through the gristmill.

01:13:16.000 And President Trump, he's been through one that is ten times worse than mine, which was pretty bad.

01:13:21.000 Maybe it's a hundred times worse.

01:13:23.000 But when you see something like that happen, the American people need to rise up and say, that's the end of that.

01:13:29.000 We are not going to tolerate you doing that to our candidates.

01:13:32.000 And for him to walk through this minefield, this gauntlet that he's going through, the lawfare gauntlet, all of the tricks of the trade that are being used, we need to shut that down.

01:13:41.000 We need a president that shuts that down. 1.00

01:13:43.000 And Trump has the biggest reason to do that.

01:13:46.000 And if he's a little bit vindictive on those evil people that are working against America, that's fine with me.

01:13:51.000 Go find them all and perp-walk them out of here and clean it up and put our country back on a sound foundation again.

01:13:56.000 Great, and you're hitting the campaign trail this week, right?

01:13:59.000 You're with Vivek all week, and then what's going to happen after January 15th?

01:14:04.000 What are you going to be doing?

01:14:05.000 Well, I don't know.

01:14:06.000 I'll probably sleep in.

01:14:09.000 I don't actually know.

01:14:10.000 If there's a ride that goes to New Hampshire, I'll just have to see what that looks like.

01:14:13.000 I've made that gig before.

01:14:14.000 Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina.

01:14:17.000 Yeah, I would like to raise the funds to come out here for Iowa.

01:14:23.000 I'm an independent journalist, so if we can also raise the funds for New Hampshire, we will.

01:14:27.000 I like those people in New Hampshire.

01:14:29.000 They listen well.

01:14:30.000 They ask questions.

01:14:31.000 They want to hear what we have to say.

01:14:33.000 They're good people, too.

01:14:34.000 Some people think they're more astute than Iowans when it comes to policy.

01:14:37.000 I'm not going to buy that, but they're very astute.

01:14:40.000 They are.

01:14:42.000 Well, wonderful.

01:14:43.000 I think we're getting back from the commercial break now, so anything you want to promote while we're on here right now?

01:14:49.000 Well, I'd say that if people are interested in my book, which you know I was going to bring it up, but when I was, let's just say, politically less by Kevin McCartney, Liz Cheney, and some of those others that have since bitten the dust,

01:15:01.000 I wrote a book about the whole saga of that political lich party that they had on me that lasted for about two years.

01:15:08.000 The title of my book is, Walking Through the Fire, My Fight for the Heart and Soul of America.

01:15:14.000 And it can be found at my website, steveking.com.

01:15:17.000 They go to steveking.com, come to my warehouse with my autograph on it.

01:15:21.000 Wonderful.

01:15:22.000 Well, thank you so much, and we're going to resume coverage now of Trump's town hall, but it's always such a great time to see you.

01:15:30.000 And nobody's done more in that regard than me.

01:15:33.000 Now, I happen to be, for the exceptions, like Ronald Reagan, with the life of the mother, rape, incest.

01:15:42.000 I just have to be there, I feel.

01:15:46.000 I think probably 78% or so, Paul, about 78%.

01:15:48.000 It was Ronald Reagan.

01:15:50.000 He was for it.

01:15:51.000 I was for it.

01:15:52.000 But I will say this.

01:15:54.000 You have to win elections.

01:15:56.000 Otherwise, you're going to be back where you were.

01:15:59.000 And you can't let that ever happen again.

01:16:01.000 You've got to win elections.

01:16:03.000 If you look at it, Iran, DeSantis, I don't know what he really believes, because, you know, you never know with a politician.

01:16:09.000 And he's just another politician, as far as I'm concerned.

01:16:12.000 But his poll numbers have gone down to a level that he's going to be out of the race very soon.

01:16:17.000 He's going to be out very soon.

01:16:18.000 You know, I watched him last night.

01:16:19.000 He's standing up with his shoes, his fancy shoes.

01:16:22.000 I don't know.

01:16:38.000 He's doing very, very poorly.

01:16:39.000 It happened to coincide with that, because a lot of people say a lot of, you know, if you talk five or six weeks, a lot of women don't know if they're pregnant in five or six weeks.

01:16:48.000 I want to get something where people are happy.

01:16:50.000 You know, this has been tearing our country apart for 50 years.

01:16:55.000 Nobody's been able to do anything.

01:16:56.000 And again, you can only ask that question, and you ask it brilliantly.

01:17:00.000 And I understand exactly where you're coming from.

01:17:02.000 I love where you're coming from.

01:17:04.000 But we still have to win.

01:17:06.000 I think so.

01:17:25.000 Want and people like I would love you to first of all you have to go with your heart, okay?

01:17:30.000 You have to go with your heart first go with your heart your mind go with it But you do also have to put in there a little bit you have to win elections But if it weren't for me with Roe v. Wade you wouldn't even be talking about this up You wouldn't be asking that question because would write back.

01:17:44.000 I remember this they're the radicals.

01:17:46.000 We're not the radicals because they'll kill a baby remember I had the debate with crooked Hillary Clinton and 0.97

01:17:52.000 I don't call her crooked anymore.

01:17:53.000 I use that now for Joe Biden, as you know.

01:17:54.000 I call her beautiful, Hillary.

01:17:56.000 She's a beautiful woman.

01:17:58.000 But in the debate with Hillary Clinton, I said, they said, you know, she's willing to rip the baby out of the womb in the ninth month.

01:18:08.000 And you know, I never heard this.

01:18:10.000 It happened to me.

01:18:10.000 It just came to me during that debate.

01:18:12.000 I didn't go up there thinking I was going to say that.

01:18:15.000 And 0.98

01:18:32.000 You kill the baby after the ninth month, or even afterwards. 0.95

01:18:36.000 You set the baby aside and you have a conversation with the mother.

01:18:41.000 And of the conversation, can you imagine?

01:18:43.000 But these are the radicals.

01:18:44.000 We're not the radicals.

01:18:45.000 We are not the radicals.

01:18:47.000 But we're living in a time when there has to be a little bit of a concession one way or the other.

01:18:52.000 And I think, you know, I want to get it right.

01:18:55.000 I have to get it right.

01:18:56.000 But without what I did, you would never even be asking that question, because there was no chance that that was going to happen.

01:19:02.000 For 54 years, they campaigned on that issue, and nobody pulled it off but me.

01:19:09.000 So I think you're going to be happy in the end.

01:19:10.000 Thank you very much.

01:19:13.000 Thank you very much for that question.

01:19:14.000 Let's go to Beau.

01:19:16.000 Beau, you're from Madrid, Iowa?

01:19:19.000 Uh, Madrid.

01:19:20.000 Oh, I'm so sorry.

01:19:21.000 I knew I could get through every city I thought.

01:19:24.000 Uh, well, Madrid.

01:19:25.000 Uh, do you know how you're gonna caucus?

01:19:27.000 Uh, Trump, 100%.

01:19:28.000 Oh, I like him.

01:19:29.000 Alright, you do have a question.

01:19:32.000 Thank you.

01:19:33.000 Go ahead.

01:19:35.000 How would you de-escalate global tensions and keep the United States out of foreign wars?

01:19:39.000 Yeah, do it through peace through strength.

01:19:42.000 You know, I just saw something where I was the only president for 78 years, no war started.

01:19:48.000 Now I wiped out ISIS.

01:19:50.000 You know, I did a thing that was — I won't go into names, I won't go into specifics, but we did a thing that nobody thought was possible.

01:19:57.000 Did it very quickly.

01:19:59.000 I withdrew from Syria.

01:20:01.000 I withdrew from Iraq.

01:20:02.000 I withdrew.

01:20:03.000 They want to put people back.

01:20:05.000 We're in countries that don't even want us.

01:20:07.000 We're with countries that a lot of you never even heard the names of these countries.

01:20:11.000 You know, there's a great leader — in my opinion, he's very strong.

01:20:14.000 Some people would say it's terrible to say that, but he is — Viktor Orban.

01:20:17.000 He's the prime minister of Hungary.

01:20:20.000 And they asked him, what would you do?

01:20:21.000 There are wars all over the world right now.

01:20:23.000 He said, what I do is make sure the American people vote for Donald Trump for president, because when he was president, China feared him.

01:20:30.000 I don't want to be feared.

01:20:31.000 But he used the term.

01:20:32.000 I'm not using the term.

01:20:33.000 President Xi is a very tough cookie.

01:20:36.000 But I think they did fear us.

01:20:38.000 China feared him.

01:20:39.000 Russia feared him.

01:20:40.000 Everybody.

01:20:41.000 I even got along with Kim Jong Un.

01:20:42.000 You know, getting along,

01:20:44.000 We're good to go.

01:21:02.000 A hundred... I mean, zero percent chance that was going to happen.

01:21:06.000 They see a weak president in our country, and they did something that was unthinkable.

01:21:11.000 So we're gonna have peace through strength.

01:21:12.000 We're not gonna have to fight.

01:21:14.000 So, on the other side... With that being said, you always have to be prepared.

01:21:19.000 And I rebuilt our entire military. 0.99

01:21:22.000 And think of it, Biden gave $85 billion worth of our military to Afghanistan so stupidly. 0.98

01:21:29.000 Brand new tanks and planes and everything. 0.99

01:21:33.000 700,000 rifles and guns.

01:21:36.000 70,000 vehicles, many of them armor-plated vehicles.

01:21:39.000 And by the way, people died.

01:21:42.000 Thirteen great soldiers died.

01:21:43.000 I've gotten to know the families very well.

01:21:46.000 Many horribly hurt.

01:21:48.000 And hundreds of people killed when you include both.

01:21:50.000 Hundreds of people killed in the most embarrassing moment in the history of our country.

01:21:56.000 So I really appreciate the question.

01:21:59.000 And I appreciate very much that you're with me.

01:22:02.000 And I'm with you, too.

01:22:03.000 Thank you.

01:22:03.000 So, from the other side of the party, there are many like Governor Haley who said that you are now more of an isolationist than you were.

01:22:10.000 And that you got many concessions from NATO members as president to increase their defense budget.

01:22:15.000 Hundreds of billions of dollars.

01:22:16.000 But there's a real concern what a second Trump term would mean.

01:22:19.000 Would you be committed to NATO, for example, in a second Trump term?

01:22:23.000 Depends if they treat us properly.

01:22:25.000 Look, NATO is taking advantage of our country.

01:22:28.000 The European countries took advantage of... I want to use a word starting with an S, but I don't want to do it because I see some young, very good-looking children in the audience, and I assume they're watching on television.

01:22:38.000 But they took advantage of us on trade, and then they took advantage of us on our military protection.

01:22:44.000 Of the 28 countries at the time, only 8 countries were paid up.

01:22:47.000 We were paying the difference.

01:22:49.000 And I went to him and I said, if you don't pay, we're not going to protect you.

01:22:53.000 And they said, do you mean that?

01:22:54.000 I said, I mean that.

01:22:55.000 And the next day, billions of dollars poured into NATO.

01:22:59.000 The reason they have money right now to prosecute what they're doing with helping Ukraine is because of the money I got them.

01:23:06.000 So, you know, peace through strength.

01:23:08.000 Mr. President, we appreciate your time.

01:23:10.000 Thank you.

01:23:10.000 Thank you very much.

01:23:11.000 Thank you for being here in Des Moines.

01:23:12.000 Good to have you with us tonight.

01:23:13.000 Thank you.

01:23:13.000 Thank you very much.

01:23:14.000 So we're going to be right back with just a quick final segment right after this time out.

01:23:18.000 Stay with us.

01:23:40.000 At the weight of the day, fall away.

01:23:43.000 Give your cares and worries over to God.

01:23:46.000 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for they shall... For Lent this year, instead of chocolate, give up worry and anxiety with a 30-day free trial of Halo.

01:24:05.000 My name's Ryan Haffner, and because of TikTok, I have the power to educate people.

01:24:13.000 Yeah, well, we're here wrapping up this town hall.

01:24:16.000 We're about a little bit halfway through.

01:24:17.000 I'm here with Representative Steve King, one of the best here in Iowa.

01:24:21.000 And what are you thinking of the night so far?

01:24:24.000 Well, one thing, it's snowing pretty hard out here.

01:24:26.000 It's snowing really hard.

01:24:27.000 I guess you guys are used to it here, right?

01:24:29.000 Well, it hasn't snowed all winter hardly, but yes, we get used to it pretty fast.

01:24:32.000 I know there's very few cars in the ditch.

01:24:34.000 Right.

01:24:35.000 So that says that they didn't forget how to drive in this.

01:24:37.000 Right.

01:24:38.000 And the other thing I think is it's supposed to snow for the next two days or three days.

01:24:41.000 Really?

01:24:42.000 Yeah.

01:24:43.000 And so that's what my wife tells me, and her name is Weather Woman.

01:24:46.000 Right.

01:24:47.000 So, but if that happens, and if it stays snowing like it is now,

01:24:51.000 Well, I think the energy in the party is with the America First, the Trump, the Vivek, the Haley's and the DeSantis.

01:24:56.000 We've had that forever.

01:24:57.000 I don't think it really inspires anybody to get out there because we've heard the same canned lines for just about ever.

01:25:19.000 Well, this has shaped itself.

01:25:21.000 You couldn't see it when it started.

01:25:22.000 Right.

01:25:23.000 But it's shaped itself to become a binary decision here.

01:25:25.000 Yes.

01:25:26.000 And on one side is America First, MAGA.

01:25:29.000 Right.

01:25:29.000 And that's Trump and Bebake.

01:25:31.000 Right.

01:25:31.000 And on the other side, it's DeSantis and Nikki Haley and the establishment, the elitists and the right-o's.

01:25:36.000 Yeah.

01:25:37.000 And the Uniparty people.

01:25:38.000 Right.

01:25:38.000 If I wanted to elect a Democrat, I'd just wait until November and vote for Biden.

01:25:41.000 I don't need to vote for Haley to get one.

01:25:43.000 Well, I just say this, that if you like the way things have been going, then you can see a little more of it if you go in that direction.

01:25:49.000 Exactly.

01:25:50.000 But if you want to save this country, it's going to have to be either Trump, Vivek, or both of them.

01:25:55.000 Exactly.

01:25:56.000 And that would be the ideal situation right there.

01:25:58.000 It would be.

01:25:58.000 Because them teaming up would be one of a kind.

01:26:01.000 Vivek, I've been with him the last few days, as you have, and you've been with him a lot longer, the last few months.

01:26:08.000 And what do you think, what stands out to you the most about that whole campaign?

01:26:12.000 Mr. Michigan?

01:26:12.000 What stands out to you most about the big campaign?

01:26:15.000 Well, one thing is the number of stops that he's having.

01:26:19.000 The energy that's there.

01:26:20.000 Right.

01:26:21.000 And I know from, I learned this about myself when I started a construction company back in 1975.

01:26:25.000 Yeah.

01:26:26.000 Somebody's got to provide the momentum for the crew, for everybody else.

01:26:30.000 Yes, yes.

01:26:30.000 And if you just sit back, not much happens.

01:26:32.000 But if the lead person is the one that's the most energetic,

01:26:36.000 Wow.

01:26:36.000 That's incredible.

01:26:51.000 I remember that Rick Santorum in 2012, I remember him saying this at a speech in Lyon County afterwards, he said, well, he said, I did 385 speeches in Iowa, and he won the caucus in 2012.

01:27:04.000 I remember that, yeah, he beat by like 65 votes or something.

01:27:07.000 Even less, I think, maybe 40.

01:27:08.000 But he said,

01:27:10.000 And he was looking at this crowd, about 400 people in this dinner when he was speaking.

01:27:13.000 It was Lyon County, the northwest corner of Iowa.

01:27:15.000 And he looked out over the crowd, and he said, 385 speeches, and, Margaret, I see you sitting back there.

01:27:22.000 If you hadn't been there that night in Montgomery County, 180 miles away, is where it's from, actually.

01:27:27.000 Yeah.

01:27:27.000 If you hadn't been there in Montgomery County that night, there wouldn't have been anybody there.

01:27:31.000 Wow.

01:27:31.000 So a one-person crowd, he remembered that, though.

01:27:34.000 Right.

01:27:35.000 And the rest of them were, of course, better.

01:27:36.000 You don't need to have big crowds.

01:27:38.000 No.

01:27:38.000 But Bake's got a lot of them.

01:27:39.000 Well, I think what's important is that in Iowa, it's really, it's super retail politics.

01:27:44.000 It is one-on-one.

01:27:46.000 And what stuns me about the people of Iowa is they don't ask typical questions of their politicians that are giving them their speeches.

01:27:53.000 They're asking deeply involved questions.

01:27:56.000 And the people here really understand it.

01:27:58.000 So with all that being said, what do you think is going to happen on caucus night?

01:28:01.000 What are your predictions, if I can ask?

01:28:03.000 Well, I don't think it's a question that Trump's going to win the Congress.

01:28:06.000 Right.

01:28:06.000 Yeah.

01:28:06.000 And his numbers are solid.

01:28:08.000 Yeah.

01:28:08.000 He's making sure his presence is known.

01:28:09.000 He's got a very good organization.

01:28:11.000 Yes.

01:28:12.000 All that put together.

01:28:13.000 Then, but I do think that DeSantis and Nikki Haley, their numbers at, say, 14, 15 percent that we're seeing on a regular basis.

01:28:21.000 I don't think they've got much chance to eclipse those numbers.

01:28:24.000 Yes.

01:28:24.000 I think they diminish.

01:28:25.000 Yes.

01:28:26.000 And Vivek will outperform expectations.

01:28:29.000 Yes.

01:28:29.000 So he could double or triple his expectations.

01:28:32.000 He's the guy that will come out of Iowa with the most momentum, I believe.

01:28:36.000 Momentum, yeah.

01:28:36.000 And Trump out of there, sailing along on top, and the rest of them looking up at him.

01:28:39.000 Yeah.

01:28:40.000 But that momentum in New Hampshire could really do it for Vivek.

01:28:43.000 Absolutely.

01:28:44.000 Here you go, Laura.

01:28:46.000 So, it's a great event so far, and I want to take a moment as well to thank our second sponsor of tonight's event.

01:28:55.000 We are sponsored by a product called BiOptimizers, and they are a supplement company, and one of their products is a magnesium product called Magnesium Breakthrough.

01:29:07.000 And so I want to thank BuyOptimizers.com, and you can use BuyOptimizers.com slash Loomer as your code.

01:29:15.000 Code Loomer at checkout for up to 10% off.

01:29:18.000 You know, we're living in a cancel culture society, Congressman, and so it's really important that people support products that support them.

01:29:26.000 Yes, of course, and so if you are interested in improving your overall health and wellness, I encourage all of you who are watching and enjoying this content right now, we are the number one stream on Rumble.

01:29:38.000 We have over 12,000 live viewers who are watching, and of course, you know, we want to continue providing you these streams.

01:29:46.000 I think so.

01:30:13.000 I'm always thankful for any stress reliever that we have.

01:30:17.000 I've been through my share of the stress, and found a way to manage it.

01:30:20.000 But one of the other things is, even if you feel the stress, never let them see you sweat, Laura.

01:30:24.000 Oh yeah, definitely.

01:30:25.000 That's in your book.

01:30:27.000 It is, isn't it?

01:30:27.000 That's in your book.

01:30:28.000 That's philosophy, and my father taught me that too.

01:30:31.000 Never let them think they're getting to you.

01:30:34.000 And don't let them live in your head rent-free.

01:30:36.000 Live in theirs rent-free.

01:30:38.000 I think that we are.

01:30:38.000 I think I do that pretty well, you know?

01:30:40.000 I think you may be the world champion.

01:30:42.000 Yeah, showing up to Nikki's events and Ron DeSantis' events with them calling the police on me.

01:30:46.000 I think I do a pretty good job.

01:30:48.000 You do too.

01:30:48.000 I think you are too.

01:30:49.000 Do you think you're ever going to run for Congress again?

01:30:52.000 You know, it's unlikely.

01:30:53.000 And the reason I say that is because my wife has been running the show for 25 years of my absence.

01:31:00.000 And when I came home finally, she was glad to have me home.

01:31:03.000 She spent about a year reminding me that I'm retired.

01:31:06.000 She's given up on that now.

01:31:07.000 Oh, please.

01:31:08.000 You're not retired.

01:31:08.000 No, I'm not.

01:31:09.000 I can't stay out of it.

01:31:11.000 Hey, I have the receipts, Congressman.

01:31:13.000 I got video of you today not acting like a retired person, giving speeches, talking to people, taking selfies.

01:31:21.000 That's not what retired people do. 0.68

01:31:23.000 Well, you know, I do.

01:31:25.000 I love these people.

01:31:26.000 Exactly.

01:31:27.000 God has given me a gift.

01:31:28.000 I love people.

01:31:29.000 And the ability to interact with them and help them out, encourage them, lift them up.

01:31:34.000 And I draw energy from other people.

01:31:36.000 It's not, they say they draw energy from me, I draw it from other people too.

01:31:40.000 It's always a two-way thing.

01:31:42.000 And so all that interactivity and all the ways that we've been able to help people over the years, wherever it might be, and I had my staff, 17 of them, and their job was to help people.

01:31:52.000 And so we did a lot of that, and now as I go around the district, almost invariably somebody stands up and says, thank you for, and they explain what it was, they give me credit, it was usually my staff that did it, but that's what our object was, to help just make this world a smoother place.

01:32:08.000 Yeah.

01:32:09.000 And more or less open the doors for people so they can just walk through with low stress.

01:32:13.000 And I didn't realize either how many places I had been, how many things I'd done, how many countries I'd been to, how many different levels of government and business and for politics and personalities.

01:32:24.000 But all of that experience gives me some insight so that people don't know how to navigate that.

01:32:29.000 And they come to me and say, well, what do I do?

01:32:32.000 And it's kind of surprising.

01:32:33.000 I have a lot of answers for their conundrums.

01:32:36.000 But it's because they haven't been confronted with that as much as I have been.

01:32:39.000 So that's what I do.

01:32:40.000 I help people.

01:32:41.000 I developed, I call it a very highly successful consulting company.

01:32:45.000 Okay.

01:32:45.000 Which means I've got far more work than I can get done.

01:32:48.000 And the big reason is, I don't let anybody pay me.

01:32:51.000 Okay.

01:32:52.000 Well, you're not going to be corrupted then by the special interests, right?

01:32:56.000 And these crony capitalists.

01:32:58.000 That's right.

01:32:59.000 But you've always been a man of integrity and honor, and so what did you think of the town hall?

01:33:03.000 I mean, I know you're very popular, so I don't know how much of it you got to watch, but what did you think of the town hall, and what do you think about what's going on in Iowa?

01:33:10.000 Oh, I like this.

01:33:11.000 We've got a nice rhythm in here, and good people, and they're enthusiastic, and we did a little program a little while ago recognizing many of them.

01:33:18.000 And I walk in here and I find some friends that I had seen before that are actually good friends.

01:33:22.000 Well, everybody loves you.

01:33:23.000 The only people that don't like you are the GOP establishment, but you're still wildly popular.

01:33:28.000 Nobody actually believes you're a white supremacist, Congressman.

01:33:31.000 Well, I don't think so.

01:33:33.000 You know, I was talking to a New York Times... Kevin McCarthy does, but look, he's gone.

01:33:36.000 He's gone.

01:33:37.000 When he did that, I sent out the soundtrack to Another One Bites the Dust.

01:33:42.000 Oh, yeah.

01:33:42.000 I mean, how great is it, though?

01:33:44.000 That's your retribution, right?

01:33:45.000 If we could get Donald Trump back into the White House, and then also now all these terrible people that try to destroy your life.

01:33:53.000 Kevin McCarthy, Tom Emmer, all these people are officially on the shortlist, right?

01:34:00.000 So it's nice.

01:34:01.000 I think it's great.

01:34:03.000 It's a good form of revenge, right?

01:34:05.000 I'm a fan of retribution and revenge, and I think that Kevin McCarthy got what was coming to him.

01:34:10.000 Let me add a little biblical to that.

01:34:13.000 Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord.

01:34:15.000 Yes.

01:34:15.000 But he makes no prohibition on getting some satisfaction.

01:34:19.000 Yes, I believe we are both getting a lot of satisfaction.

01:34:22.000 You know, I never asked you in person.

01:34:24.000 What did you feel?

01:34:25.000 Where were you when you got the news that there was a motion to vacate McCarthy?

01:34:29.000 I mean, that must have been a really amazing day for you.

01:34:31.000 You must have been so elated.

01:34:34.000 Did you go out?

01:34:34.000 Did you celebrate?

01:34:35.000 Did you party?

01:34:36.000 Did you have a nice dinner with your wife?

01:34:37.000 Well, I did watch what was going on and I sent a bunch of texts in there to my former colleagues.

01:34:42.000 And they let me know, too, that in the first election of McCarthy as Speaker, those 15 rounds of votes, they said that my name was there in those negotiations throughout.

01:34:55.000 Yeah.

01:34:55.000 Because McCarthy would try an argument, they'd go,

01:34:58.000 No, we're not buying that.

01:34:59.000 You did that to King.

01:35:00.000 You're not doing that to us.

01:35:01.000 And so they kept pushing that back at him.

01:35:03.000 Well, now the decision to vacate the chair, part of what he did to me is what motivated them, because they knew they could not trust him.

01:35:11.000 The facts were not going to get in McCarthy's way.

01:35:14.000 I've had people that know McCarthy well say to me, and I'll say in a brain-trust environment,

01:35:22.000 McCarthy will look you in the eye and lie to you and he doesn't care if you know he's lying.

01:35:27.000 Oh yeah.

01:35:29.000 That's a level of brazenness that I don't have. 0.96

01:35:33.000 I define him as a narcissistic abuser. 0.93

01:35:36.000 Yes.

01:35:37.000 Clinically, that's somebody that they are the center of the gravity for the world.

01:35:40.000 Nothing is relevant unless it's relevant to them.

01:35:43.000 And then it's defined by how it's relevant to them.

01:35:46.000 And they manipulate people's minds.

01:35:48.000 They might do it with a carrot and a stick. 0.99

01:35:49.000 They might praise them and lavish them with praise and hand them benefits and all those things.

01:35:54.000 Or they might punish, punish, punish.

01:35:55.000 Or they might do hot and cold running water.

01:35:58.000 But the strategy is always to empower the narcissistic abuser.

01:36:02.000 That is Kevin McCarthy.

01:36:04.000 And he played those cards all the way up to the point where he face-planted on the floor.

01:36:08.000 And I honestly, I personally think that Kevin McCarthy retired early from Congress to diminish the House majority because he wants Democrats to take back control of the House in the middle of our election year to screw President Donald Trump.

01:36:21.000 I really do believe that because we have a one-seat majority right now.

01:36:25.000 We have a one seat majority right now.

01:36:26.000 That's pretty tight.

01:36:27.000 I guess it does, right over the course of the year.

01:36:29.000 One seat majority.

01:36:29.000 It puts a one seat majority in.

01:36:31.000 And another thing that Kevin McCarthy did, he raised lots of money.

01:36:35.000 I mean, $200 million or so that he managed within the funds.

01:36:41.000 And I saw him doing this.

01:36:42.000 He would go out, and he had an affirmative action program.

01:36:45.000 And it was, I'm going to find people that fit the minority categories, and I'm going to give them money.

01:36:50.000 Right.

01:37:11.000 But instead, it really was about the ideological component of that.

01:37:15.000 They were rhino enough to vote for McCarthy, and I saw this happen in Texas. 0.91

01:37:20.000 I got behind, I'll give his name, Roland Lopez, a solid, principled conservative, and he should have gone to Congress, but McCarthy found a person that fit his minority category more strongly than Lopez, put a million dollars in there and said, stay in your basement like Biden, we'll get you elected, and he did.

01:37:40.000 There's a vote for Speaker when that happens.

01:37:41.000 That happens over and over again.

01:37:43.000 And so, we need to have, first of all, this party, this Ronna McDaniel party, and the Kevin McCarthy party.

01:37:53.000 She does need to go.

01:37:54.000 But they were configuring this thing for something other than our platform.

01:37:59.000 I want them.

01:38:00.000 What happened to the meritocracy?

01:38:01.000 Republicans have to be for meritocracy.

01:38:03.000 We've got affirmative action. 0.55

01:38:05.000 We're trying to get people in.

01:38:06.000 They have DEI, affirmative action. 0.74

01:38:08.000 It's out of control.

01:38:09.000 It is.

01:38:10.000 We've got to get rid of it.

01:38:11.000 We've got to get rid of it.

01:38:12.000 And I've been opposed to that for a long time.

01:38:15.000 And going clear back when there was, let's see,

01:38:19.000 I got to meet her actually.

01:38:20.000 Sandra Day O'Connor was a commencement speaker at my boarding school.

01:38:43.000 And gracious to a fault.

01:38:45.000 And I can't think of anybody more gracious than Sandra Day O'Connor.

01:38:48.000 Yeah, I remember when I was a teen, I was like 16 years old and I snuck into the back room because I was so eager to meet her and I wasn't supposed to be back there and the administrators were like, what are you doing?

01:38:58.000 You're not supposed to be back here.

01:38:59.000 And I remember she was gracious and she said, Oh no, it's okay.

01:39:02.000 And she's like, Oh, what's your name?

01:39:03.000 And you know, it's, uh,

01:39:05.000 That's her. 0.88

01:39:06.000 You know what I do, I loomer people and I always was so excited, but I got to meet her.

01:39:09.000 But the decision that she came down with, wrote the majority opinion on was, well, we kind of need this yet because we've still got racism in the country, but maybe in 25 years we can get rid of it.

01:39:19.000 And I go, no!

01:39:21.000 The Constitution is what you're ruling on.

01:39:23.000 You're not ruling on the movement of society.

01:39:26.000 That's got nothing to do with it.

01:39:27.000 You have to come down on the fact that are people going to have equal opportunity or are they not going to have equal opportunity.

01:39:32.000 Right.

01:39:33.000 And so now here we are nearly 25 years later and you're seeing these decisions come down that are getting rid of affirmative action.

01:39:39.000 We've got decisions in Texas that the universities in Texas closing down their diversity offices because the legislature has prohibited any of this further affirmative action.

01:39:51.000 And now you have the presidents of elite universities like Harvard resigning, right?

01:39:56.000 Under pressure.

01:39:57.000 And I think that we're maybe going to see a rejection of DEI, right?

01:40:00.000 Because people are now getting nervous about the kind of social chaos, right?

01:40:05.000 And conflict that DEI brings.

01:40:07.000 And the safety concerns, especially as it relates to this recent story that just broke about the airliner, right?

01:40:15.000 And the plane that had a hard landing.

01:40:16.000 I don't know if you heard about that story as well. 0.85

01:40:19.000 But a lot of people are now starting to say, you know, I think we're tired of this DEI, you know, bullcrap.

01:40:24.000 We need to get back to meritocracy, right?

01:40:26.000 We need to get back to a system of merit.

01:40:29.000 Well, who was it that when they got on, it might have been Muhammad Ali, when he'd get on a plane and he'd look in and he'd see the pilot and he would think, hmm, I don't want to have an affirmative action pilot. 0.94

01:40:39.000 He also said, Muhammad Ali, I love the way he characterized things.

01:40:42.000 It was just pretty simple.

01:40:43.000 He was wiser than he got credit for being.

01:40:45.000 He would say, well, don't worry about not having the integration part of this thing.

01:40:49.000 Bluebirds fly with bluebirds.

01:40:51.000 Blackbirds fly with blackbirds.

01:40:52.000 That's their choice.

01:40:53.000 But I'll say, here's something about humanity is that people gravitate towards like kind.

01:40:58.000 Real recognizes real, as I like to say.

01:41:09.000 Yeah.

01:41:10.000 Real recognizes real.

01:41:11.000 Yeah, real recognizes real.

01:41:13.000 But, you know, the unreal recognize each other, too, and they flock together.

01:41:16.000 Yeah, birds of a feather.

01:41:18.000 Uh-huh, birds of a feather.

01:41:19.000 And I watch this once in a while.

01:41:20.000 We used to have family reunions, and my mother's family, there were five kids, and each of those kids, my aunts and uncles and my mother, had five kids.

01:41:28.000 And so we'd do a family reunion, and there would be five picnic tables for the nuclear families. 0.57

01:41:33.000 And they all sat together.

01:41:35.000 Part, part, part.

01:41:36.000 And I thought, I'm here for a family reunion, I'm going to go sit down with these.

01:41:39.000 And I'll go sit down, pretty soon I'll be talking to one of them, not the rest of them, because they go reform at another table.

01:41:44.000 Well, okay, I'll go try another family, and we'll do the same thing.

01:41:47.000 I mean, it wasn't that...

01:41:49.000 It wasn't that they were rejecting me.

01:41:51.000 They were just more comfortable in their own family unit, even in a family reunion.

01:41:55.000 That taught me something about like-kind.

01:41:57.000 And there's nothing necessarily wrong with that.

01:41:59.000 It's human nature.

01:42:00.000 Yeah.

01:42:00.000 Well, it's been wonderful having you here, and I'm sure I'm going to see you a lot these next few days.

01:42:06.000 And where do you plan to be on caucus night?

01:42:08.000 Where are you going to be?

01:42:09.000 I don't know yet.

01:42:10.000 No?

01:42:11.000 The most important place I could be, I suppose.

01:42:13.000 In the past, though, I've gone to wherever the largest caucus is and given a speech there.

01:42:17.000 Okay.

01:42:18.000 And last time, in 2016, when it mattered, it was in Perry, Iowa.

01:42:22.000 Had a large caucus there for the whole county, as I recall.

01:42:25.000 And so I'll see, but what happens is, in my own home county caucus, everybody knows me there.

01:42:30.000 I probably don't impact very much of anything, but I'll have to tell them, put me in as a delegate, will you?

01:42:36.000 So they'll take care of me, I believe.

01:42:39.000 Wonderful.

01:42:39.000 Well, I think that, you know, we're wrapping up our programming for tonight.

01:42:44.000 The town hall is over.

01:42:45.000 Everybody had a really wonderful time.

01:42:47.000 I think that, you know, there's a lot of enthusiasm, right?

01:42:51.000 There's a lot of enthusiasm here for President Trump.

01:42:54.000 There was a lot of enthusiasm today.

01:42:56.000 I've always really admired you.

01:43:14.000 Not so highly of you, and I wish that you were back in Congress.

01:43:18.000 I really do.

01:43:18.000 Well, you are a vigorous personality, and I want to thank you for hosting this tonight.

01:43:22.000 Of course.

01:43:22.000 It adds a lot to the caucus process, and you're here in Iowa, and you're not just watching it.

01:43:27.000 You're living it, and you're pushing it, and you're driving it.

01:43:29.000 Well, and I wish that there wasn't, you know, torrential snow downpour right before the event started, because unfortunately

01:43:36.000 Only a few people had to cancel because of the snow, but, you know, I do what I can, you know, and I want to come out and I want to meet everybody.

01:43:42.000 I'm a grassroots person and so I want to do my part to take our country back.

01:43:46.000 I don't want to live in a communist country. 1.00

01:43:48.000 Let's just keep pounding away on those leftists and those idiots and the rhinos. 1.00

01:43:53.000 And then we have to take on the World Economic Forum. 1.00

01:43:56.000 Yes.

01:43:57.000 And I just had this conversation back in the back of the room, but of all of the existential threats that we have, and there aren't many for the greatest country in the world, but

01:44:06.000 China, Russia, the World Economic Forum is the number one most existential threat to the United States because they seek to break down our entire economy, our civilization, our constitution, our family life, every component of what makes America great is under assault.

01:44:22.000 And we have to push back on that and eventually take them down.

01:44:25.000 And we will.

01:44:25.000 I do believe that.

01:44:26.000 So let me just say, the number one enemy to the World Economic Forum is Donald Trump.

01:44:31.000 I would say so, yes.

01:44:32.000 Donald Trump.

01:44:33.000 The number two enemy?

01:44:35.000 Vivek Ramaswamy.

01:44:36.000 Yes.

01:44:37.000 Number three might be Bobby Kennedy Jr.

01:44:39.000 Well, you know, I don't know.

01:44:41.000 I have a lot of reservations about him trying to push for a contingent election.

01:44:47.000 You know, pushing for a contingent election?

01:44:50.000 Because I don't want Congress deciding who our next president is.

01:44:54.000 And Kennedy is pushing for a contingent election.

01:44:57.000 Yes, his whole entire strategy, as he just announced recently, is investing $15 million into getting on the ballot in key states so that they could push for a contingent election.

01:45:07.000 And I think that that is the most globalist thing that you can do.

01:45:11.000 It deprives the American people of their ability to actually select their own president.

01:45:16.000 But yeah, I would agree that Donald Trump is the number one enemy to the World Economic Forum, which is why I support him.

01:45:24.000 But it's been a great event.

01:45:25.000 I want to thank you, of course, for coming out.

01:45:29.000 And again, where can people follow you, Congressman, if they want to follow you?

01:45:33.000 They can go to steveking.com.

01:45:35.000 That's my website.

01:45:36.000 And there, if they'd like to pick up a book, Walking Through the Fire, that comes right out of my warehouse with my autograph on it, and I ship them out myself.

01:45:43.000 Yeah, and it's a great book.

01:45:45.000 I've read it myself.

01:45:46.000 A wonderful book.

01:45:47.000 I believe I got one of the first copies.

01:45:49.000 You gave it to me at the American Renaissance conference, actually, in Tennessee.
