00:00:27.000 We want to build a much better Okay, welcome to the Lion with a Crowder.
00:00:33.000 Last debate livestream.
00:00:35.000 We're going to have our drinking game rules coming up and we're going to have Senator Ted Cruz.
00:00:39.000 But first, we'll hit a pregame with the man, with the plan, the Don himself, the godfather, the man who in the neighborhood kisses all the girls on his arm who want to be with Donald Trump Jr.
00:00:51.000 And we have Donald Trump Jr.
00:00:53.000 at Donald Trump Jr.
00:00:54.000 His book is Liberal Privilege.
00:00:57.000 Joe Biden and the Democrats' defense of the indefensible.
00:00:59.000 Wow, some stellar timing.
00:01:01.000 How are you, Mr. Don Jr.?
00:01:04.000 I'm doing well.
00:01:05.000 You know, it was interesting.
00:01:06.000 I spent the quarantine time starting in March researching our opponent because I couldn't go to work.
00:01:12.000 I wasn't going to loot and riot.
00:01:13.000 It's not really my thing.
00:01:15.000 You've got an exemption from having to stay home if you were going to loot and riot.
00:01:19.000 You know, I started doing this research and found a lot of this corruption.
00:01:22.000 It's hard to believe that even six months later now, the book I wrote is actually more true than it ever was, that it was always pretty damn accurate.
00:01:29.000 But what's scarier right now, we're seeing the potential president of the United States, prior to an election, literally being compromised by foreign governments.
00:01:40.000 His son dealing and peddling influence.
00:01:44.000 All of the things, Steven, that they hoped and prayed Donald Trump Jr.
00:01:47.000 was doing.
00:01:49.000 All of the things they ran with for four years, as though it was the gospel, with exactly zero evidence.
00:01:54.000 All of the things that when they accused us, we were totally transparent, put everything out there, be like, here, have at it.
00:02:00.000 Hunter Biden was actually doing.
00:02:02.000 Hunter Biden's been doing for years, and now they're okay with it.
00:02:07.000 I mean, when I look at what social media has done trying to censor the New York Post, you know, it's the second largest paper in New York.
00:02:13.000 It's a 200-year-old institution.
00:02:15.000 They did this.
00:02:17.000 And now the media that lost their goddamn minds every time Donald Trump called them fake news turns out he was right about the Russia hoax.
00:02:25.000 Now they're calling fake news on their own journalists when the Biden campaign themselves won't even deny that these things...
00:02:33.000 Well, that's one thing I wanted to say.
00:02:35.000 That's a big difference between, we showed this on the program, I believe two days ago, when your dad was asked by the moderator, Welker, who we'll get into, about Russia, he said, I never colluded or worked with Russia, it is a complete hoax, and you should not, he answered unequivocally denied it, whereas Biden just goes, yeah, you would ask that question, fat China!
00:02:55.000 Yeah.
00:02:56.000 No, well, and that's the thing.
00:02:57.000 And more importantly, then they put out this thing, well, Well, Joe Biden didn't have that meeting in his official calendar.
00:03:04.000 It's like, yeah, no shit.
00:03:09.000 No, let me look at his Google and his iCalendar.
00:03:12.000 Ayatollah with a ran and a VPN.
00:03:14.000 Okay, make some calls.
00:03:16.000 Yeah, you didn't put corrupt meeting with oligarch paying Hunter a million who's holding billions for Joe in the official White House calendar.
00:03:27.000 Not the question that was asked, by the way, but they hear that and they say, oh, this is freaking wonderful.
00:03:31.000 Joe's clear.
00:03:32.000 Right.
00:03:33.000 Joe's clear.
00:03:34.000 And now you have the media literally today and the Democrats and the never Trumpers peddling Like, Iranian disinformation.
00:03:42.000 Iranian disinformation!
00:03:43.000 They're like, let's just send it out there because it hurt Donald Trump.
00:03:46.000 Can I clarify something here?
00:03:48.000 Because...
00:03:51.000 Yeah, and that's something that's important because it's been misrepresented.
00:03:53.000 They've tried to say, look, the Iranians actually were sending it and Russians are
00:03:56.000 disseminating this disinformation campaign trying to intimidate voters.
00:04:00.000 No, hold on a second. They sent false letters as the Proud Boys to try and intimidate.
00:04:05.000 Do you really think that they're doing that to try and help Donald Trump?
00:04:09.000 Do you really like send them say it's the Proud Boys?
00:04:11.000 Donald Trump had canceled the deal where Obama and Biden gave them 150 billion.
00:04:18.000 Donald Trump cancelled that.
00:04:20.000 The Iranians really want Donald Trump to win.
00:04:22.000 Russia really wants Donald Trump to win.
00:04:23.000 We'll put more sanctions on Russia than any administration, including during the Cold War under Reagan.
00:04:30.000 No, they want Joe Biden to win because they know they've bought him off.
00:04:34.000 Imagine this, Steven.
00:04:35.000 Okay.
00:04:35.000 what they found already on Hunter.
00:04:37.000 That's like one or two journalists looking.
00:04:40.000 Imagine they stick 10,000 journalists on Donald Trump Jr.
00:04:44.000 like they did.
00:04:45.000 Do it to Hunter.
00:04:45.000 Imagine how much more they would find.
00:04:47.000 Yeah.
00:04:48.000 Imagine how much more is there if they were even willing to look, but they're not.
00:04:52.000 And you know what?
00:04:53.000 If there's not enough there, just give him a 10 gram rock and he'll give you,
00:04:57.000 everyone knows the keys to the safe with Hunter Biden.
00:05:00.000 Let me ask you, this is actually giving me deja vu from when John Kerry officially endorsed Osama bin Laden.
00:05:05.000 I remember it was so stupid that he released it.
00:05:07.000 It's like, if you want him to win, Osama, don't say... No one's wanting your endorsement.
00:05:13.000 Let me ask, do you think any...
00:05:15.000 Go ahead.
00:05:16.000 But Joe Biden got the Osama bin Laden endorsement, too.
00:05:18.000 In the race, they killed Osama bin Laden.
00:05:20.000 They found a document that were classified at the end of last year.
00:05:24.000 There are documents between Osama bin Laden and his biggest henchman saying they wanted to kill Obama.
00:05:29.000 This is back in, like, you know, early Obama admin.
00:05:32.000 They wanted to kill Obama because that would put Joe Biden in charge.
00:05:36.000 Right.
00:05:36.000 Think of Osama bin Laden wanted to kill Obama because that would put Joe Biden in charge.
00:05:41.000 And that, by itself, Would lead to the destruction of America because he's that grossly unprepared.
00:05:47.000 Right.
00:05:47.000 Even Osama bin Laden did it.
00:05:50.000 Right.
00:05:51.000 And they were even saying that he endorsed that coveted in politics.
00:05:54.000 But I don't talk to Osama bin Laden endorsement.
00:05:57.000 You know, Joe Biden, by the way, was the only other guy in America that didn't want to go in and kill him.
00:06:01.000 I mean, this is the stupidity of Joe Biden.
00:06:03.000 Well, that's the thing.
00:06:04.000 They thought if they got...
00:06:06.000 They thought if they got rid of Barack Obama, it would be easy to, you know, dangle the carrot and kind of manipulate Biden.
00:06:11.000 And in Biden's case, it was an actual dangling of the carrot.
00:06:13.000 They were just going to stand behind him with a fishing pole and a carrot.
00:06:17.000 And, uh, yeah, that's, that's enough.
00:06:20.000 Maybe, maybe a six, maybe a six year old scalp, you know, just go into it like Yogi bear with a pie on a windowsill.
00:06:26.000 Just, um, let me ask you this.
00:06:28.000 Do you think any of this will come up in tonight's debate?
00:06:30.000 Do you think there will be any questions about this?
00:06:31.000 And if not, does, does your dad have to bring it up because there are mixed opinions on that?
00:06:37.000 Listen, I think he has to bring it up.
00:06:38.000 You saw, it was supposed to be the foreign policy debate.
00:06:41.000 The second this stuff came out, all of a sudden they eliminated foreign policy.
00:06:44.000 Now they're going to talk about climate change.
00:06:46.000 I mean, think about how stupid this is.
00:06:47.000 You know, no one will talk about the fact of climate change.
00:06:49.000 Like, according to NASA, 1.4 degrees since 1860.
00:06:54.000 Yeah.
00:06:55.000 18 to 150 years, 1.4 degrees.
00:06:56.000 Like, yes, that's why California is burning.
00:06:59.000 Not because of terrible forest management.
00:07:01.000 Not because of the environmentalists refusing to let people in there to clean up.
00:07:04.000 No wait, who are we talking about?
00:07:05.000 get better one point four degrees that they don't get the world
00:07:09.000 it doesn't it shouldn't surprise us though it worked if you saw the last
00:07:12.000 debate right the last moderator with the both of it
00:07:15.000 break i totally impartial heard that you could go by the internet
00:07:18.000 defending never trumpeters what he thought that the f burned out it was just out on whether
00:07:23.000 but you know i hit from what any by the Vatican but that he would act
00:07:28.000 knowing what we're talking about it's going out for the second debate right okay
00:07:35.000 right so you are going to have that he would act that was for the with the
00:07:37.000 supposed to be the second debate but i think okay well if you have had
00:07:41.000 if the moderator of the second debate that could be a russian interference in our own you know i reported
00:07:46.000 dot what that would like to finish it one that but not yet it made
00:07:50.000 it a former by the administration person like And Obama administration person.
00:07:55.000 So I'm not expecting fairness, and when I see them trying to eliminate the topic that would be dangerous to Joe Biden, like selling out our country, it's all I need to know.
00:08:05.000 And I'm a little nervous because Steve, who you were talking about, but same thing with Kristen Welker.
00:08:10.000 The fact that she's been pinned with Biden's high school ring.
00:08:13.000 A lot of people aren't talking about that.
00:08:14.000 Seems that should be more of a story.
00:08:17.000 But let me ask you this.
00:08:18.000 Well, foreign policy, listen, the reason I don't want to discuss that is because we have no new major wars.
00:08:21.000 Donald Trump is the only president in modern American history to do that.
00:08:24.000 And hey, some actual peace in the Middle East, that got no coverage.
00:08:27.000 That's one of the biggest peace treaties.
00:08:30.000 It's the biggest one that's happened in my lifetime between Israel and the UAE.
00:08:33.000 And this is the economy, foreign policy, Uh, which they said would be Donald Trump's weak suit.
00:08:39.000 Remember when they were asking about the Arab Spring and these kind of trick questions?
00:08:42.000 Turns out you don't need to be a political hobbyist to actually get things done, and it would be irrefutable that Donald Trump has done more for criminal justice reform and peace in the Middle East than any president in modern history.
00:08:53.000 It's just not even up for debate.
00:08:54.000 I don't even think Van Jones tries.
00:08:57.000 No, they won't even, you know, the problem is they won't even discuss those sort of things.
00:09:00.000 If it's good for Donald Trump, they'll pretend it never happened.
00:09:02.000 I mean, Joe Biden's gonna fix racial relations in America.
00:09:06.000 Why do you wait?
00:09:08.000 I mean, you know, 47 years is a long time to build up, right?
00:09:11.000 I mean, you know, you see that you have guys on your show, it takes a little while to get them loosened up, like a minute?
00:09:16.000 Right.
00:09:16.000 47 years is too long!
00:09:21.000 If he really cared about these issues, you know, you would think he would have utilized, I don't know, 38 years in the Senate, or maybe his eight years as the first, as the vice president for the first African-American president.
00:09:31.000 It's about pandering. Same with people in the Middle East.
00:09:33.000 They spent more time fact-checking my sister's speech when she gave- at the RNC,
00:09:38.000 because it was that time when she talked about her three-year-old son building a little Lego White House.
00:09:41.000 Did he do it by himself?
00:09:43.000 Three, he probably had a little bit of help. What's your point?
00:09:50.000 But they would rather cancel it.
00:09:52.000 It's the Rip Van Winkle approach.
00:09:53.000 So he's waiting a long time.
00:09:55.000 They're canceling three years.
00:09:56.000 To be fair, Biden was very clear about his racial relations plan.
00:10:04.000 It's the Rip Van Winkle approach.
00:10:06.000 So he's waiting a long time.
00:10:07.000 I think it's about 48 years.
00:10:09.000 He doesn't want his kids going to school in a racial jungle.
00:10:12.000 We talked about that ad nauseum racial jungle.
00:10:16.000 It's like, oh my God, I can't believe it.
00:10:18.000 If anyone in your family said that.
00:10:20.000 This is a guy that was buddies with every segregationist to ever walk the halls of Congress.
00:10:25.000 And not just frankly, he eulogized them at their funerals.
00:10:29.000 Joe Biden has no basis on this.
00:10:31.000 His crime bill, everything.
00:10:33.000 Donald Trump reversed the disaster that Joe Biden did to those communities.
00:10:38.000 And yet, according to the media, Joe Biden's going to finally fix them.
00:10:41.000 Something after half a century and five months.
00:10:43.000 Right.
00:10:44.000 And then he took a big steaming dump on Clarence Thomas.
00:10:47.000 I'll never forget that.
00:10:48.000 A lot of people don't realize, you know what turned Andrew Breitbart, who was kind of my mentor, you know what turned him into a conservative?
00:10:52.000 It was Clarence Thomas.
00:10:54.000 He said he tuned in to watch them nail this guy and by the end of it he said, oh my gosh, they're going to crucify this guy and he's innocent.
00:11:00.000 That's what turned him into the Andrew Breitbart that we knew.
00:11:02.000 Let me ask you this, do you think that it may actually be, and I know, listen, I'll talk with
00:11:06.000 Ted Cruz about this too, but the debate commission we know is unfair, we know that it's biased,
00:11:10.000 but do you think there may be a silver lining there for Joe Biden to have two minutes all to himself?
00:11:15.000 By the way, without question, I think that was probably what I would have wanted more out of
00:11:21.000 the first debate, which is, you know, the problem is Joe Biden got two minutes to lie, so Donald
00:11:24.000 Trump then had to kind of correct the record, and they were both interrupting, and Joe interrupted
00:11:27.000 first, but the reality is this.
00:11:30.000 Yes, there were times where I'm like, no, just let him talk.
00:11:32.000 Just let him talk, because this guy, you know, he can't remember what state he's in 50% of the time.
00:11:37.000 If you gave him unfettered talk, we should just feed all of our time and let Joe Biden talk for two hours.
00:11:41.000 Yeah. Because that won't work out well for Joe Biden.
00:11:43.000 You know, anyone who's watched him try to give a speech publicly has seen that.
00:11:48.000 I mean, even teleprompted it.
00:11:49.000 That's hard to believe, because again, after half a century in the D.C.
00:11:53.000 swamp, you'd think you'd be able to read a teleprompter.
00:11:55.000 But even that's a challenge for Joe Biden.
00:11:56.000 Well, you know, he has myopia.
00:11:59.000 Let me ask, well, first off, again, the book is Liberal Privilege, Joe Biden and the Democrats' Defense of the Indefensible.
00:12:05.000 I think everyone needs to read this right now.
00:12:08.000 Two things.
00:12:08.000 I have a statement first.
00:12:10.000 The one thing that I think would behoove President Donald Trump is, in the last one, rightfully so, he was angry, like you said, because of the moderator.
00:12:17.000 I think when you look at the debates last time, particularly the second debate with Clinton, You know what was really likable about Donald Trump?
00:12:22.000 He seemed like he was having fun.
00:12:24.000 And so I think the more it seems like Donald Trump is having fun, and even though he needs to be tough, but is there enjoying it?
00:12:30.000 I think that's when he's at his best.
00:12:32.000 And then my last question to you is because we do have to go, we have Senator Ted Cruz waiting on the line.
00:12:37.000 How do you expect tonight to play out?
00:12:41.000 Listen, you know, again, I do think it's, you know, it's going to be a biased playing field, but, you know, listen, my dad's good at these sort of situations.
00:12:47.000 He's a game-time player.
00:12:48.000 He's willing to tackle and challenge the norms.
00:12:50.000 That's why we're getting results.
00:12:51.000 That's why we're getting out-of-endless scores.
00:12:53.000 That's why we're getting key fields done in the Middle East.
00:12:55.000 All of these things that we've heard about for our whole lives, but no one's actually ever effectuated.
00:13:00.000 I think he'll do well, despite sort of that bias.
00:13:04.000 I think, you know, we do have to bring up some of the things that the moderators are going to do whatever they can to avoid talking about.
00:13:09.000 The American people deserve to know, Stephen.
00:13:11.000 Right.
00:13:11.000 I mean, again, imagine it was Donald Trump Jr.
00:13:14.000 and not Hunter Biden.
00:13:15.000 The Republican Party would step in and say, Donald Trump, you must resign.
00:13:19.000 You must step down right now.
00:13:20.000 Remember when they were speculating that you had done cocaine at your speech?
00:13:24.000 Remember at the RNC?
00:13:25.000 And they were like, this guy makes Charlie Sheen look like Ron Howard!
00:13:33.000 Yeah, no, it's, uh, it was crazy.
00:13:35.000 I mean, and that's exactly, I think, I think you have me confused with Hunter Biden, but they won't talk about it.
00:13:40.000 Again, if I returned a car with a crack pipe in it to a rental car agency with my IT, I mean, it would be a story.
00:13:48.000 I'm not saying, hey, listen, we all have our prescription problems.
00:13:51.000 Yeah, hell, I don't drink for a reason.
00:13:53.000 It's not because I was good at it.
00:13:54.000 You know what I mean?
00:13:55.000 Right.
00:13:55.000 I get it.
00:13:57.000 Oh, it's true.
00:13:58.000 We all have our... But, like, I have a feeling that I wouldn't get the sympathetic view of those kind of problems.
00:14:04.000 Especially not if I was selling my country out for millions of dollars.
00:14:08.000 Especially if I was making millions with no ability to actually do that.
00:14:11.000 You think the Chinese gave him 1.5 billion because he was a great investor or because he was compromised?
00:14:17.000 No, I think that's... Of course it's because he was compromised.
00:14:19.000 You can't look at his record.
00:14:20.000 If I was hiding for years from child support payments, you think I'd get the benefit of the doubt and say, No, I don't think you would get the benefit.
00:14:27.000 I wouldn't give you the benefit of the doubt, because I don't give anyone the benefit of the doubt, but that just shows the arrogance, right?
00:14:32.000 Joe Biden just thinks he won't answer the questions, he doesn't deny the authenticity, but if he doesn't answer the question, the media will carry his water.
00:14:38.000 Same thing with the arrogance of Hunter Biden leaving a crack pipe in a rental car.
00:14:41.000 If I smoke a cigar in a rental car with a scenic view and the windows open, I put in some kitty litter and baking soda and some Febreze because, you know, I don't want to get hit with a $250 bill, but we do have to leave it on that I do appreciate you are one who calls a spade a spade.
00:14:56.000 Also, Joe Biden calls a spade a spade.
00:15:00.000 So, we will be back after this with Senator Ted Cruz.
00:15:03.000 The book is Liberal Privilege.
00:15:04.000 Thank you so much, Don Jr.
00:15:06.000 We must go.
00:15:08.000 Open your mind.
00:15:13.000 Let us begin our quest.
00:15:15.000 Now you, Donald Trump, need to bring what remains of Joe Biden to the embalming parlor.
00:15:23.000 My undercrowder and I are making preparations.
00:15:29.000 I was about to make me break.
00:15:32.000 I'm not looking, but I just feel.
00:15:39.000 The clock is ticking on the embalming wall.
00:15:42.000 Joe Biden will soon be mine.
00:15:46.000 And me.
00:15:47.000 That doesn't make any sense.
00:15:50.000 Soon, creepy Joe Biden will be It will be okay.
00:15:55.000 Just do your thing.
00:15:58.000 Your livers will all rest in peace.
00:16:07.000 Be sure to turn in to the Louder With Crowder livestream.
00:16:12.000 It's Tune.
00:16:13.000 Tune!
00:16:14.000 Tune, you mortician f***.
00:16:16.000 I don't get out much.
00:16:17.000 I hit a hole in the ground!
00:16:24.000 Okay, I'm excited because my next guest has a podcast verdict that you can go listen to
00:16:40.000 and he has a new book, One Vote Away, that is about the importance of the Supreme Court
00:16:45.000 and which cases have been determined by only one vote.
00:16:48.000 And he's got the beard and the mutton chops and kisses all the girls in the neighborhood and make them cry!
00:16:53.000 Senator, uh, Ted Cruz, thank you for being here, sir.
00:16:57.000 You know, Stephen, there are decaffeinated brands on the market that are just as tasty.
00:17:02.000 Not for the nature boy, a woo-woo.
00:17:05.000 So, for people who couldn't understand, the podcast is Verdict, not The Verdict, which is one of my favorite Paul Newman films with Jack Warden.
00:17:14.000 And the book is obviously one vote away, and I think that it's very important for people who don't know, it's not just about the Supreme Court, but about cases that were determined by one vote.
00:17:22.000 Big one.
00:17:23.000 People not having the right to own firearms at all.
00:17:25.000 A lot of folks don't know about Heller.
00:17:27.000 But before we get to that, let me ask you, what do you predict for tonight?
00:17:32.000 We had you on before the first of what was supposed to be three debates, and we thought we'd have you back for the last one.
00:17:39.000 We didn't think it would be the second one.
00:17:41.000 What do you think tonight will be like, and how do you think it may be contrasted from the first debate?
00:17:45.000 Look, I hope tonight there's actually less fireworks than the first one.
00:17:50.000 I hope tonight the real division is on substance.
00:17:55.000 The first one between Trump and Biden was kind of a food fight.
00:17:59.000 I mean, they were yelling and insulting each other.
00:18:03.000 That's fine, but I actually think that played to the Democrats' strength.
00:18:09.000 They want it to be all about personality.
00:18:12.000 They don't want it to be about substance.
00:18:13.000 What I hope the president does is draw a clear distinction between free enterprise and socialism.
00:18:20.000 I hope the president draws a clear distinction between rule of law and the Constitution versus anarchy and riots in the streets.
00:18:28.000 And I think last time The president was clearly ready for a fight, he was energized, but I think a couple of times he jumped in and saved Joe Biden from himself.
00:18:38.000 I think we would have been better off if he just let Joe talk a little bit.
00:18:42.000 Because the positions Joe is embracing are really out there, and the more we can do to highlight it, the better that is.
00:18:50.000 We just talked about this yesterday, Senator Cruz.
00:18:52.000 Nobody in this office, nobody in my research team, nobody out of the 15 people who work for Loudmouth Crowder knew that on Joe Biden's own website, under firearm safety, is he will ban all online sales of firearms, ammunition, kits, parts.
00:19:08.000 That means if I want a grip adapter, No one knows that, and it's surprising to me that there will be no question, seemingly, in any of these debates about guns.
00:19:18.000 And I think that that's obviously trying to stack the deck, because if people in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin know how radical Joe Biden's firearm policy is, he loses them in a landslide.
00:19:27.000 Do you think that's maybe the case here?
00:19:29.000 I think that's right, but I think it's even more than that.
00:19:31.000 Let me connect the two topics we started with, which is the debate And my book, One Vote Away.
00:19:38.000 So each chapter of the book is on a different constitutional right.
00:19:41.000 If you read the chapter on the Second Amendment, it talks about the case Heller v. District of Columbia.
00:19:48.000 That's the landmark Second Amendment case.
00:19:51.000 It was decided 5-4.
00:19:52.000 I helped litigate that case.
00:19:54.000 And in fact, the book is all war stories from helping litigate many of the big landmark cases of the court.
00:20:00.000 But on Heller, the four dissenters, their position was not that some gun control is sometimes okay.
00:20:08.000 Reasonable minds can differ on that.
00:20:09.000 We can have actually a reasonable conversation and debate on that topic.
00:20:12.000 Right.
00:20:13.000 The position of the dissenters was much more radical.
00:20:15.000 It was that there is no individual right to keep and bear arms whatsoever.
00:20:21.000 That it is merely a, quote, collective right of the militia Which means the federal government, the state government, the city can make it a crime, can make it a felony.
00:20:31.000 For you or for me to own a gun.
00:20:35.000 Right.
00:20:36.000 And under the dissenters view of Heller, there'd be nothing we could do about it.
00:20:39.000 We have no Second Amendment right.
00:20:41.000 Joe Biden has promised to nominate Supreme Court justices who would overturn Heller.
00:20:46.000 So if Joe Biden is elected, the Supreme Court will effectively erase the Second Amendment from the Bill of Rights.
00:20:53.000 That's the kind of substance I hope we see in the debate tonight.
00:20:56.000 Well, I don't know if we will, but I think it's important to note, yeah, it's not about, Heller v. D.C.
00:21:01.000 wasn't a pistol grip versus tactical grip.
00:21:04.000 It wasn't about some bump stock.
00:21:05.000 It was about the right to own.
00:21:06.000 So when people say, oh, I think I'm okay with revolvers or pump shotguns.
00:21:10.000 No, no, that there, you would have no right to own it.
00:21:12.000 You'd have to have some kind of a sheriff or something, someone like that, some legislator or someone in local law enforcement allow you the basic right to self-preservation.
00:21:21.000 Going back to the debate, and then I do want to, go ahead.
00:21:23.000 Specific facts on it, Stephen.
00:21:25.000 So Dick Anthony Heller, who's the plaintiff in Heller, is a federal police officer, lived in the District of Columbia.
00:21:31.000 He carried a firearm at work.
00:21:33.000 Under DC law, all pistols were illegal.
00:21:36.000 So revolvers, any pistol was illegal no matter what.
00:21:40.000 And any long gun, any shotgun or rifle was required to be disassembled and inoperative at all times with no exceptions.
00:21:48.000 So literally, if someone is breaking into your house, if you're a single mom and a crackhead is coming through the window to hurt your kids, and you had a shotgun and you removed the trigger lock, You were committing a crime.
00:22:00.000 Let's not bring Hunter Biden into this.
00:22:02.000 I don't think he's breaking into anybody's house anytime soon.
00:22:05.000 Hey, listen.
00:22:05.000 Hey, come on.
00:22:07.000 Come on.
00:22:07.000 That's not hearsay.
00:22:08.000 That's not gossip.
00:22:09.000 He's on camera smoking a crack pipe.
00:22:13.000 All right?
00:22:13.000 I have more credibility and I'm in a feathered boa, okay?
00:22:16.000 Let's go back to the debate here.
00:22:18.000 You mentioned...
00:22:20.000 You mentioned that you hope to see something more substantive.
00:22:24.000 Now, I do want to talk about the commission and how biased it is and what we think we should do in elections going forward.
00:22:28.000 However, could it be an advantage for Joe Biden to be left alone with his thoughts for two minutes straight?
00:22:34.000 It may be a blessing in disguise.
00:22:38.000 Yes, if there's the give and take of questioning and there has to be some back and forth.
00:22:44.000 Because look, Joe Biden can memorize a couple of minutes and get it out.
00:22:48.000 I mean, that's what he's doing all week is memorizing little set pieces where the debate is important.
00:22:53.000 And I'm all for Trump counterpunching and engaging.
00:22:58.000 I just hope he engages on substance and sort of just turns the temperature down a little bit.
00:23:04.000 And makes clear what Joe's radical policies are.
00:23:08.000 Right.
00:23:09.000 And speaking of radical, the moderator here, I want to make sure, it's Welker.
00:23:13.000 Walker, Welker, I always get her name wrong.
00:23:15.000 We went through a segment yesterday about her Democratic ties, some of the practices that she's undertaken as a journalist.
00:23:22.000 She's moderated debates before.
00:23:24.000 Should Americans go in with eyes wide open?
00:23:27.000 Is she biased?
00:23:28.000 And then is the commission biased, the commission for debates who change the rules?
00:23:31.000 Because I think a rule change was fair, but this was pretty extreme.
00:23:36.000 Look, of course she's biased, of course the commission is a train wreck, everyone on the commission is a never-Trumper, either the Democrats or the never-Trump Republicans, they're all voting for Joe Biden.
00:23:47.000 And let me say more broadly, Republicans are idiots.
00:23:52.000 If you look at debates, every single general election debate is moderated by a Democrat.
00:23:59.000 What the hell is wrong with us?
00:24:00.000 Like, a hundred percent.
00:24:02.000 Everyone is moderated by a Democrat.
00:24:04.000 And it's even worse than that, Stephen.
00:24:06.000 In the presidential race, Republican primary debates Are almost all moderated by Democrats.
00:24:13.000 The people moderating want everyone on the stage to lose.
00:24:17.000 And every question is designed to make everyone look like idiots.
00:24:20.000 So I propose two very simple changes.
00:24:22.000 Okay.
00:24:23.000 Number one, for Republican primary presidential debates, the moderator should be people who actually intend to vote in a Republican primary.
00:24:32.000 So if you're not a Republican, don't moderate a Republican primary debate, because we want moderators who will actually ask questions that Republican primary voters give a damn about.
00:24:42.000 Fair.
00:24:43.000 Secondly, for the general elections, stop this ridiculous assumption that journalists are not partisans.
00:24:51.000 We've seen Democrat after Democrat after Democrat.
00:24:54.000 Instead of ignoring the bias, own it.
00:24:57.000 And so have an explicitly conservative moderator and an explicitly liberal moderator.
00:25:02.000 So imagine, for example, a debate moderated by Mark Levin and Rachel Maddow.
00:25:11.000 And everyone knows, look, Levin's going to ask tough questions and conservative questions the Democrats not going to like.
00:25:17.000 Maddow's going to ask liberal questions the Republicans not going to like.
00:25:20.000 And that actually would be an interesting debate.
00:25:22.000 Right.
00:25:24.000 Yeah, at least the people on stage wouldn't be the only ones trading barbs.
00:25:26.000 It would be, you know, would you shut up, man?
00:25:28.000 Hey, screw you!
00:25:29.000 Ah, screw you, you dope!
00:25:30.000 No, screw you!
00:25:31.000 And he'd be like, which one's which?
00:25:33.000 I don't even know anymore, but I'm enjoying it.
00:25:36.000 Um, let me ask you, I think that's a good idea because people, this idea that there is inherently unbiased journalism, that's a lot, it's never the case.
00:25:43.000 It would have to...
00:25:44.000 be predicated on the idea that human beings can have no values and if you have someone with no
00:25:50.000 values that mean anything to them, well not only should they not be moderating a debate,
00:25:54.000 but they should be forced to walk the plank. You know, I think drawing and
00:25:59.000 cornering is really under undervalued in today's society.
00:26:02.000 Well, yeah.
00:26:04.000 I mean, so I see that you're running for the Green Party, with Republicans are idiots.
00:26:11.000 Let me ask you this, too, as well.
00:26:12.000 First, final question on the debate, and we're going to get to that really quick.
00:26:15.000 What's your prediction?
00:26:16.000 Who comes out the victor tonight, and how do you think it affects the election?
00:26:21.000 I think Trump's going to do well.
00:26:23.000 I think Joe Biden... I don't think Biden is going to do well.
00:26:29.000 If we can avoid the fireworks and focus on substance, I think Trump wins tonight.
00:26:33.000 Yeah, okay, I think you're right, and I also hope that Joe Biden gets two minutes to himself, and then just Joe Bidens himself, you know, in two minutes.
00:26:41.000 That's the thing.
00:26:42.000 Sometimes you give him enough rope.
00:26:43.000 We saw that with the last debate.
00:26:44.000 The one time he was asked a direct question, like you said, there has to be a give and take that's fair.
00:26:48.000 The one time he was asked a direct question, which ironically only came from Donald Trump, which law enforcement agencies have endorsed you?
00:26:54.000 Hamana, Hamana, Hamana.
00:26:57.000 So my final question is, obviously ACB is a conversation right now.
00:27:01.000 She's probably going to be confirmed on Monday.
00:27:03.000 You introduced a constitutional amendment to stop or prevent any kind of court packing.
00:27:09.000 I would say as a block to a potential Joe Biden presidency, but he doesn't know.
00:27:14.000 Will he?
00:27:15.000 Decide.
00:27:15.000 Won't he?
00:27:15.000 Vote for him.
00:27:16.000 He hasn't given his position.
00:27:18.000 Tell people what this is and why it's important.
00:27:21.000 So Joe Biden tonight is going to deny again that he's going to pack the court.
00:27:25.000 Kamala Harris has denied that they're going to pack the court.
00:27:28.000 The reason they won't answer that question is because their answer is yes.
00:27:34.000 That Senate Democrats, the radicals are in charge.
00:27:39.000 They're angry.
00:27:39.000 And if they win, they will pack the court.
00:27:41.000 And what does it mean to pack the court?
00:27:43.000 It means to increase the number of justices.
00:27:46.000 To put your partisans on the court.
00:27:49.000 And so we've seen there been nine justices in the Supreme Court for 150 years.
00:27:53.000 We saw another Democratic president try to do this.
00:27:56.000 FDR tried to do this at the height of his popularity, 1937.
00:28:00.000 And his own party, the Democratic Party, he had huge majorities in both houses.
00:28:04.000 They said no.
00:28:05.000 They said it would politicize the judiciary.
00:28:07.000 It would destroy the independence of the court.
00:28:09.000 We're not going to do it.
00:28:11.000 And The reason that today's Democrats, that Biden doesn't want to answer the question is because packing the court is incredibly unpopular.
00:28:21.000 And so here's what they're doing, and you can listen to it tonight.
00:28:24.000 The last two weeks, one of the ways we know that they're going to pack the court, A, if the answer was no, they'd say no, because that's overwhelmingly the more popular answer.
00:28:35.000 But B, Democrats, the talking points have gone out.
00:28:39.000 That they're trying to redefine what it means to pack the court.
00:28:42.000 So Joe Biden tonight, here's a prediction, he will say Donald Trump has been packing the court for four years.
00:28:49.000 Right, by just actually having conservative judges elected through the process that exists, which is totally within precedent.
00:28:57.000 It is ludicrous spin to say that a president nominating justices for vacancies Is packing the court.
00:29:05.000 That's not what packing the court... No, we're past ludicrous spin.
00:29:07.000 It's spin plaid.
00:29:09.000 But there's a reason.
00:29:11.000 It's also spin that is revealing.
00:29:13.000 It's like a tell in poker.
00:29:15.000 The fact that they're trying to redefine packing the court is because they intend, if they win, to increase the court to 11 or to 13 and just jam a bunch of partisans there, who will do what?
00:29:28.000 Who will take away the Second Amendment?
00:29:30.000 Who will take away our free speech?
00:29:32.000 Who will take away our religious liberty?
00:29:34.000 you know, the book One Vote Away, which by the way, Stephen, I got to give you a shout out to you. So
00:29:38.000 when I last went on your show right before the debate, and we talked about the book One Vote
00:29:44.000 Away, it shot to the number one bestseller in the country on Amazon. And so, you know,
00:29:52.000 I would mean a whole lot to me if you weren't telling it to all the hosts who had you on.
00:29:56.000 But I do appreciate you making me.
00:29:59.000 Look, I'm in politics.
00:30:03.000 I know.
00:30:03.000 No, but I appreciate it, and I think it's a very important book, One Vote Away, because a lot of people don't know the dissenting opinions historically are really just as important as the yay votes, especially when you're looking at actually packing the courts.
00:30:16.000 And to be fair, Joe Biden may not have answered.
00:30:18.000 Someone could have turned on the microwave in the green room and it made the plate go a little bit haywire.
00:30:21.000 The book is one vote away.
00:30:23.000 We do have to get going.
00:30:25.000 Senator Cruz, we appreciate you being here, and I think we'll be seeing you on election night, if I'm not mistaken.
00:30:32.000 That's going to be a marathon stream, a meat grinder.
00:30:34.000 Senator Cruz, thank you so much, brother.
00:30:36.000 We appreciate it.
00:30:37.000 Excellent.
00:30:37.000 God bless.
00:30:38.000 We're going to be right back with more, hopefully.
00:30:40.000 I'm going to pin this so it's not so revealing.
00:30:42.000 Well, it's the night we've all been waiting for.
00:30:44.000 Debate number two.
00:30:46.000 I'm shaking in my boots.
00:30:47.000 With me, as always, is Gerald A. and Audio Wade.
00:30:50.000 What kind of fireworks can we expect tonight?
00:30:52.000 Well, Stephen, the last debate was a debacle, but a lot has happened since then, and Trump has really been itching to have a second go at Ray B. Joe.
00:30:59.000 That's right, first there was COVID and then the ill-fated Zoom debate, which the President nixed.
00:31:03.000 I think we can really expect tonight to be... And I'm getting word it looks like former Vice President Joe Biden is actually arriving right now in his armored vehicle, looking confident as he exits.
00:31:15.000 If perhaps a little lost, but he's got to be feeling good about his prospect.
00:31:18.000 Wait a second, I'm getting word that the Commander-in-Chief is already in the building.
00:31:21.000 Hold it!
00:31:21.000 Talk about it!
00:31:22.000 I'm getting a thrill down my leg just watching this!
00:31:25.000 Look at these two, man!
00:31:27.000 These two dogs have been stirring each other through the fence, and it is time to let the big dogs eat!
00:31:32.000 Mom, it's time to let the doggies at the- OH MY GOD!
00:31:35.000 Mike, he just- Joe just hit the president!
00:31:37.000 Oh, wait, and they- and Mike Patton with a bowling chair out of nowhere!
00:31:40.000 And it looks like Kamala Harris is having- Oh my god!
00:31:41.000 He did get a dinner trade!
00:31:42.000 I've seen Kamala Harris- Oh, and a dinner trade- Oh, and she was handled like a- Wait, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, The COVID stunner!
00:31:53.000 I can't believe my eyes!
00:31:55.000 President Trump, oh my word, the game has changed!
00:31:59.000 Ladies and gentlemen you wanted a show tonight. Well, you certainly are going to have yourself a show
00:32:05.000 Oh Oh
00:32:09.000 Oh Oh
00:32:13.000 You're doing strange Oh
00:32:17.000 Oh Oh
00:32:21.000 Oh Oh
00:32:25.000 Oh Hello.
00:32:28.000 Woo!
00:32:31.000 I hope you're all having a good night tonight!
00:32:33.000 We're looking for the new President of the United States here on Crowder Mania!
00:32:36.000 We're gonna have the drinking game rules!
00:32:38.000 We're gonna have the promo code Crowder Mania!
00:32:41.000 And you all at home can get $30 off!
00:32:43.000 All you cheap bastards who don't want to sign up for my club can get $30 off!
00:32:47.000 Use the hashtag or the promo code Crowder Mania!
00:32:50.000 Cause I'm the boy who kisses all the girls in the neighborhood!
00:32:54.000 And um, I think...
00:32:55.000 We also have... hit the notification bell, of course, because on YouTube subscriptions don't mean a whole lot.
00:33:02.000 We have a big show tonight.
00:33:03.000 A lot's going to be happening.
00:33:04.000 In studio with me, as always, is Quarter Black Bear over here.
00:33:08.000 Jake the Snake, audio-way, is here.
00:33:10.000 And then we have Tokunawa, of course, on the thing there.
00:33:15.000 He's over there.
00:33:17.000 He's got a wig!
00:33:18.000 Really quick, we do have drinking game rules tonight.
00:33:20.000 Can somebody bring up the drinking game rules really quickly?
00:33:22.000 So exciting.
00:33:22.000 Okay, the drinking game rules.
00:33:23.000 Read them for us.
00:33:24.000 If Trump gets a leading or unfair question, drops a thug life moment, says China, fake news.
00:33:30.000 Finish your drink if Trump mentions Hunter Biden.
00:33:33.000 Let's see if that happens.
00:33:33.000 Biden, if he gets a softball question, has a dementia moment, talks tough, or says, come on man.
00:33:38.000 If he says come on man and you hear this sound...
00:33:41.000 That means you drink, but I just realized it's actually, um, so all of you will be drinking along with us.
00:33:45.000 We'll have costume contests, uh, rules, really just Wrestlemania-themed.
00:33:49.000 Send them in, you'll get a lock of Gerald Morgan's hair, who will be here soon.
00:33:52.000 But I don't have a mug, we don't have a drink.
00:33:54.000 Oh, yes!
00:33:55.000 It's time for my undertaker to come in!
00:33:58.000 Oh, there he is!
00:34:08.000 He's here to bring the nectar!
00:34:10.000 Okay, thank you very much.
00:34:16.000 Thank you, Undertaker.
00:34:17.000 I appreciate it.
00:34:17.000 Everyone else?
00:34:18.000 Everyone else good?
00:34:18.000 Oh, yeah.
00:34:19.000 I'm alright.
00:34:19.000 Yeah, we all need some, too.
00:34:20.000 Thanks.
00:34:20.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:34:21.000 Get everyone some.
00:34:22.000 Appreciate it.
00:34:23.000 Thank you, though.
00:34:23.000 I'm alright.
00:34:23.000 Thank you!
00:34:24.000 Alright, we'll see you soon.
00:34:26.000 Well, that was a lot of work.
00:34:27.000 Hey, can you do me a favor, Audio Wing?
00:34:28.000 Actually, I do think I want program here, but I can't see anything.
00:34:31.000 I wanted to read something for you guys really quickly.
00:34:34.000 Bubba Linsky just had his press conference.
00:34:36.000 Yes, he did.
00:34:36.000 Who was a business partner, he claimed, of Joe Biden.
00:34:39.000 Right now it's just blue and says field monitor.
00:34:42.000 Okay, all right.
00:34:43.000 We have a little bit of technical stuff here.
00:34:43.000 Sorry, guys.
00:34:44.000 It's hard to make something this dynamic.
00:34:48.000 Bubulinski came out, presented a press conference where he said that he had proof, he has more cell phones that he's going to be handing over to the FBI, and he will be in the audience tonight from what I understand.
00:34:57.000 He said that he had worked with Hunter Biden, Joe Biden.
00:34:59.000 It's not about Hunter Biden, it's about the leverage from Joe Biden and the fact that he was involved in these business dealings.
00:35:05.000 There was a denial that was issued.
00:35:05.000 That's what he claimed.
00:35:07.000 So I'm going to read this from you.
00:35:08.000 Just issued online in case you guys have not read this yet.
00:35:11.000 Again, the promo code is CrowderMania.
00:35:13.000 That's the hashtag.
00:35:14.000 You get $30 off if you go to louderwithcrowder.com slash Mug Club.
00:35:19.000 So this is the dismissal, the denial.
00:35:23.000 As Chris Wallace said on the air about this very smear, Vice President Biden has actually released his tax returns, unlike President Trump.
00:35:32.000 Erroneous!
00:35:33.000 And there is no indication he ever got any money from anybody in these business deals.
00:35:39.000 That will remain to be seen.
00:35:41.000 Joe Biden never even considered being involved in business with his family, nor in any overseas business whatsoever.
00:35:49.000 Here's the thing.
00:35:50.000 Don't go so extreme with it.
00:35:52.000 Like, it's a guy saying, like, I have a girlfriend.
00:35:55.000 She goes to another school.
00:35:55.000 Really?
00:35:56.000 Okay, alright, so we don't know her.
00:35:58.000 And she lives in Canada.
00:35:59.000 And she has double D's.
00:36:00.000 And she was in Playboy.
00:36:02.000 The cover.
00:36:05.000 Listen, we can cross-reference that pretty quickly.
00:36:07.000 How many Canadians with double D's who are still currently in high school were on the cover of Playboy?
00:36:12.000 Turns out, none.
00:36:14.000 So give yourselves an out, Biden.
00:36:17.000 He has never held stock in any such business arrangements, nor has the family... What is true, this is from the Biden camp, is that Tony Bobulinski admitted on the record to Breitbart that he is angry he was not able to get in business with Hunter and James Biden.
00:36:29.000 Hold on a second!
00:36:31.000 What business?
00:36:32.000 He said there was no business!
00:36:33.000 It's like, I never even liked that chick.
00:36:36.000 What chick?
00:36:37.000 She's the imaginary one.
00:36:40.000 This is the denial.
00:36:42.000 And they still have not denied the authenticity of the emails.
00:36:45.000 They're just making it about stock.
00:36:47.000 Which, by the way, is something that everyone needs to know out there.
00:36:50.000 What happened to the Bernie Bros?
00:36:51.000 And I'm going to get into what I think should happen tonight, or what will happen tonight, but the Bernie Bros.
00:36:55.000 Big money in politics.
00:36:56.000 Biden is the candidate of Wall Street.
00:36:58.000 Of big banks, big media, big tech, Hollywood.
00:37:01.000 Donald Trump has a coalition of working class, middle Americans, and law enforcement, military, and ironically, union members.
00:37:09.000 Not the union heads, because they have a contract with the Democrats effectively.
00:37:12.000 A gentleman's contract.
00:37:14.000 A gentle prick's contract with the Democrats, but the people in the unions don't feel represented.
00:37:20.000 Who's the Wall Street guy?
00:37:22.000 They're donating overwhelmingly to Joe Biden.
00:37:24.000 What do I think will happen tonight?
00:37:26.000 We have CNN right now with a quadrant view.
00:37:28.000 Look, I talked with Donald Trump Jr.
00:37:31.000 I talked with Ted Cruz about this.
00:37:32.000 I think there could be a real silver lining for Donald Trump.
00:37:36.000 Joe Biden having two minutes to himself.
00:37:38.000 It's like, you know, Joe Rogan has those sensory deprivation tanks.
00:37:42.000 And he always says, you know, when you go in, like, all of your bad thoughts kind of come back and you sort of have to work through them.
00:37:49.000 Joe Biden being alone with himself for two minutes without someone helping him might as well be an ayahuasca weekend for him.
00:37:56.000 Like this guy can't handle it.
00:37:59.000 It's his own internal sweat lodge.
00:38:01.000 So I think that could be a good thing and I think like you were saying, Audio Wade, that Donald Trump can at least use the theatrics if they mute his mic to his advantage.
00:38:09.000 Oh, absolutely.
00:38:10.000 Yeah, I think that all he needs to do at a certain point is just sort of point and be like, all right, well, yes, this is what they're doing.
00:38:15.000 This is how they're going to try to control it.
00:38:15.000 This is their play.
00:38:17.000 Okay.
00:38:17.000 All right.
00:38:19.000 Hands up, don't mute!
00:38:24.000 And I think Donald Trump needs to come across as though he's having more fun.
00:38:27.000 The Donald Trump that people love is the Donald Trump who laughed at Hillary Clinton.
00:38:29.000 The Donald Trump who does the white dad at a wedding dance.
00:38:33.000 I like that.
00:38:34.000 That's fun with Donald Trump.
00:38:36.000 And so, last time he was angry, rightfully so, I think it's a good thing if he doesn't interrupt.
00:38:41.000 I think it's a good thing if he looks like he's having fun.
00:38:43.000 I don't think it's a good thing that they removed foreign policy and national security, but we know why.
00:38:48.000 Because Joe Biden is one of the only people who didn't want to kill Bin Laden and is taking part in policy that's led to more drone strikes than anyone in Donald Trump has started.
00:38:55.000 No new wars and the biggest peace treaty of our time with Israel and UAE.
00:38:58.000 You know, climate change is at the top of everybody's mind after 2020.
00:39:00.000 That's what everybody's thinking about.
00:39:02.000 It's because Biden gets hot flashes.
00:39:03.000 I don't know how he gets hot flashes.
00:39:05.000 Men aren't supposed to have menopause.
00:39:07.000 Well, you know, Joe Biden's a creature.
00:39:12.000 So, I don't know, what do you expect here, Audie?
00:39:14.000 So, I think that Trump is definitely at his best when he's dealing with a hostile media.
00:39:18.000 So, we saw that with the Savannah Guthrie town hall.
00:39:20.000 I thought he did a good job.
00:39:21.000 I think everybody here thought he did a better job than in the past.
00:39:24.000 Because she was a bully.
00:39:24.000 Right.
00:39:26.000 She was so mean.
00:39:27.000 She was so witchy, with a B, that, you know, witchy, bitchy woman.
00:39:33.000 If I say it in a song, it's okay.
00:39:35.000 Donald Trump seemed like he was justified.
00:39:37.000 Yeah, and I think that if he waits for that sort of thing to happen here, I think that, yeah, again, making the face or sort of pointing out the selective muting, which I think is probably going to happen.
00:39:37.000 Right, absolutely.
00:39:47.000 Yep.
00:39:48.000 Really quickly, we're going to be talking about the Supreme Court fighting COVID-19, American families race in America, climate change, and they remove national security.
00:39:54.000 I think they're about to take the stage.
00:39:56.000 Crowdermania is the hashtag.
00:39:58.000 Everybody watch along and send us your chats.
00:40:01.000 We're going to be reading them after the show, once we go exclusively to the Mud Club.
00:40:05.000 If they stick to their plans, each one of them could make inroads, I think, but... Right now, Joe, if they have a return fee in the Green Room, Joe Biden just said, shit, I gotta have a plan?
00:40:18.000 Didn't expect that one.
00:40:19.000 Oh my word!
00:40:20.000 It would be so funny if he refuses to come out because there's no plexiglass.
00:40:24.000 It's an unsafe environment.
00:40:26.000 And Donald Trump had hip pads because he was planning on checking him into the boards.
00:40:30.000 He's immune!
00:40:32.000 He has a superpower, Donald Trump.
00:40:33.000 The fact that Donald Trump... Oh, by the way, remdesivir.
00:40:36.000 Remdesivir?
00:40:37.000 Is that how it's pronounced?
00:40:37.000 Remdesivir has just been approved by the FDA as a therapeutic.
00:40:40.000 Think about this for a second.
00:40:42.000 Donald Trump recovered in record time.
00:40:43.000 People tried to say it was a hoax, that then he didn't really have coronavirus because he, you know, suffered the symptoms that most people actually do.
00:40:50.000 He used experimental treatment.
00:40:51.000 This man, actually, at this point, if you were to believe the media, these aren't approved by the FDA!
00:40:55.000 Yeah, and he's doing Operation Warp Speed, and he's gonna grow a third nipple and kids with fish eyes!
00:41:00.000 And instead, he turned himself into a guinea pig for the American people, and now this is an FDA-approved treatment that could help millions of people.
00:41:09.000 Not only in the United States, but hey, rest of the world, you're welcome.
00:41:12.000 You're welcome that we're coming up with these treatments, and at least applications of treatments as well, if we didn't actually create Remdesivir, which I think we actually did.
00:41:19.000 And then, of course, the people who have a problem with it is the World Health Organization.
00:41:21.000 Yeah, when we first found out that Trump had Corona, everybody thought, like, oh, this is really bad for him because he played it down for so long, now he has it.
00:41:28.000 And then immediately after, they were like, oh, he's just faking it to make himself look better.
00:41:31.000 Of course.
00:41:32.000 You have to pick one.
00:41:32.000 He's just faking it.
00:41:33.000 And he touted unproven treatments, and the FDA is like, actually, we tested that shit.
00:41:37.000 It's proven.
00:41:38.000 And they're like, no.
00:41:40.000 It's the best play.
00:41:40.000 Why did you say no?
00:41:41.000 Because the organization that works with China and supports Tedros and denies the existence of Taiwan, they said that it may cause a tummy ache.
00:41:50.000 Okay, but it's approved by the FDA.
00:41:51.000 I thought you trusted science.
00:41:52.000 Remdesivir is now approved by the FDA to help treat COVID-19.
00:41:56.000 Okay?
00:41:56.000 Is that not a good thing in Donald Trump, by the way?
00:41:58.000 Remember they said, only the kind of expensive treatment that a wealthy person... He wants to make it available to all of you.
00:42:03.000 He wants to make it free for everybody.
00:42:05.000 For crying out loud!
00:42:07.000 I just don't know how they're going to spin this outside of simply flat-out denying it and saying that the Vice President has actually released his tax returns.
00:42:15.000 Who cares?
00:42:16.000 Who cares if he's released his tax returns?
00:42:18.000 By the way, those aren't the taxes we want.
00:42:21.000 You don't get to purchase your houses and your cars and live the lifestyle that you do with the taxes that you claim from years ago.
00:42:26.000 We know that your son, Hunter Biden, it's not that Hunter Biden, it's not that there are these underhanded, seedy, underground, disgusting business dealings.
00:42:38.000 It's that Hunter Biden is effectively a shell corporation for Joseph.
00:42:44.000 It's not about Hunter, it's about Joe Biden.
00:42:47.000 Think of the leverage.
00:42:48.000 And you know what?
00:42:48.000 You know that you believe me because you also understand that billionaires are tougher to buy and sell if they have more money than you.
00:42:54.000 Do you really think you're going to dangle a carrot with Donald Trump with 50 million bucks or a retainer of $184,000 a month?
00:43:02.000 For crying out loud, he would get that when he was making an appearance with Arsenio Hall after Celebrity Apprentice.
00:43:08.000 And that was with cutting down the price because Arsenio Hall was on the rider.
00:43:16.000 Shut up!
00:43:16.000 We get it.
00:43:17.000 You're more urban.
00:43:17.000 We get it.
00:43:20.000 Well, people have said that Joe Biden, surely there's some kind of secret bank account or something, something we'll find.
00:43:24.000 It really is just Hunter.
00:43:26.000 Hunter is the secret bank account.
00:43:28.000 Yes, Hunter is the secret bank account.
00:43:29.000 He just keeps all his money over there.
00:43:30.000 Yeah, and I know, but also secret bank account.
00:43:33.000 And not just that Hunter himself acted as a secret bank account for them, but his ass.
00:43:37.000 He was a mule.
00:43:38.000 Here we go.
00:43:39.000 Hey, it's the lady who has strong Democratic ties and tipped off Hillary Clinton with questions for the campaign last time.
00:43:44.000 Kirsten Welker.
00:43:46.000 Kristen Welker.
00:43:47.000 Welk this way.
00:43:48.000 Don't you love how they try to make her look a little more ethnic too?
00:43:53.000 Tonight's debate is sponsored by the Commission on Presidential Debates.
00:43:57.000 It is conducted under health and safety protocols designed by the Commission's health security
00:44:02.000 advisor.
00:44:03.000 The audience here in the hall has promised to remain silent.
00:44:06.000 No cheers, boos, or other interruptions, except right now as we welcome to the stage former
00:44:12.000 Vice President Joe Biden and President Donald J. Trump.
00:44:22.000 God, virtue's in the way.
00:44:24.000 Let me take this mask off here.
00:44:26.000 Please Donald Trump, just aerosol particles like you're the Joker.
00:44:39.000 And I do want to say a very good evening to both of you.
00:44:41.000 This debate will cover six major topics at the beginning of each section.
00:44:46.000 Each candidate will have two minutes uninterrupted to answer my first question.
00:44:50.000 The debate commission will then turn on their microphone only when it is their turn to answer.
00:44:56.000 Oh, so she doesn't have power.
00:44:57.000 Which voters?
00:44:57.000 Interesting.
00:44:57.000 Which voters?
00:44:58.000 minutes have expired. After that, both microphones will remain on. But on behalf of the voters,
00:44:58.000 I almost said Savannah.
00:45:04.000 I'm going to ask you to please speak one at a time. The goal is for each other, which
00:45:09.000 voters to hear every word of what you both have to say. And so with that, if you're ready,
00:45:16.000 let's start. And we will begin with the fight against the coronavirus. President Trump,
00:45:20.000 the first question is for you. The country is heading into a dangerous new phase.
00:45:25.000 More than 40,000 Americans are in the hospital tonight with COVID, including record numbers here in Tennessee.
00:45:32.000 And since the two of you last shared a stage, 16,000 Americans have died from COVID.
00:45:37.000 So please be specific.
00:45:38.000 How would you lead the country during this next stage of the coronavirus crisis?
00:45:43.000 Two minutes, uninterrupted.
00:45:44.000 So, as you know, 2.2 million people modeled out were expected to die.
00:45:51.000 We closed up the greatest economy in the world in order to fight this horrible disease that came from China.
00:45:58.000 It's a worldwide pandemic.
00:46:00.000 It's all over the world.
00:46:00.000 You see the spikes in Europe and many other places right now.
00:46:05.000 If you notice, the mortality rate is down 85 percent.
00:46:10.000 The excess mortality rate is way down and much lower than almost any other country.
00:46:14.000 And we're fighting it and we're fighting it hard. There is a spike. There was a spike in Florida,
00:46:19.000 and it's now gone. There was a very big spike in Texas. It's now gone. There was a very big
00:46:24.000 spike in Arizona. It's now gone. And there were some spikes and surges and other places.
00:46:30.000 They will soon be gone. We have a vaccine that's coming. It's ready. It's going to be announced
00:46:36.000 within weeks and it's going to be delivered. We have Operation Warp Speed, which is the military
00:46:42.000 is going to distribute the vaccine. I can tell you from personal experience that I was in the hospital.
00:46:49.000 I had it.
00:46:50.000 And I got better.
00:46:51.000 And I will tell you that I had something that they gave me.
00:46:55.000 A therapeutic, I guess they would call it.
00:46:57.000 Some people could say it was a cure.
00:46:59.000 But I was in for a short period of time and I got better very fast or I wouldn't be here tonight.
00:47:04.000 And now they say I'm immune.
00:47:05.000 Whether it's four months or a lifetime, nobody's been able to say that, but I'm immune.
00:47:10.000 More and more people are getting better.
00:47:13.000 We have a problem that's a worldwide problem.
00:47:16.000 This is a worldwide problem.
00:47:18.000 But I've been congratulated by the heads of many countries on what we've been able to do.
00:47:23.000 If you take a look at what we've done in terms of goggles, and masks, and gowns, and everything else, and in particular ventilators, we're now making ventilators all over the world.
00:47:36.000 Thousands and thousands of them.
00:47:38.000 Good contrast, good start.
00:47:40.000 It will go away, and as I say, we're rounding the turn, we're rounding the corner, it's going away.
00:47:46.000 Okay, former Vice President Biden to you.
00:47:48.000 How would you lead the country out of this crisis?
00:47:50.000 You have two minutes uninterrupted.
00:47:52.000 Watch for the reactions to 220,000 Americans dead.
00:47:57.000 You got nothing else I say tonight.
00:48:00.000 Here this anyone who's responsible for not taking control.
00:48:05.000 In fact, not saying I'm I take no responsibility initially.
00:48:10.000 Anyone who is responsible for that many deaths should not remain as President of the United States of America.
00:48:16.000 We're in a situation where there are a thousand deaths a day now.
00:48:20.000 A thousand deaths a day.
00:48:22.000 And there are over 70,000 new cases per day.
00:48:27.000 Compared to what's going on in Europe, as the New England Medical Journal said, they're starting from a very low rate.
00:48:34.000 We're starting from a very high rate.
00:48:36.000 The expectation is we'll have another 200,000 Americans dead between now and the end of the year.
00:48:43.000 If we just wore these masks, the president's own advisors have told him, we could save 100,000 lives.
00:48:52.000 By the way, that's not a scientific study, so I hope that gets fact-checked by Facebook and Twitter.
00:49:02.000 That mask, unless washed in a commercial washing machine that gets hot enough, does nothing.
00:49:06.000 It makes it worse.
00:49:07.000 Fact-check me, YouTube!
00:49:08.000 Find me one study that says his shitty little mask, his shitty little house-on-the-prairie headdress, unwashed, worn on his beady little face, helps anything.
00:49:19.000 There's no science.
00:49:20.000 We're in a situation now where the New England Medical Journal, one of the most serious journals in the whole world, said for the first time ever that the way this president has responded to this crisis has been absolutely tragic.
00:49:35.000 And so folks, I will take care of this.
00:49:37.000 I will end this.
00:49:38.000 I will make sure we have a plan.
00:49:41.000 President Trump, I'd like to follow up with you and your comments.
00:49:44.000 You talked about taking a therapeutic.
00:49:46.000 I assume you're referencing Regeneron.
00:49:48.000 You also said a vaccine will be coming within weeks.
00:49:51.000 Is that a guarantee?
00:49:53.000 No, it's not a guarantee, but it will be by the end of the year.
00:49:56.000 I think it's a good chance.
00:49:57.000 It's two companies, I think, within a matter of weeks.
00:50:00.000 And it will be distributed very quickly.
00:50:02.000 Can you tell us which companies?
00:50:03.000 Johnson and Johnson is doing very well.
00:50:05.000 Moderna is doing very well.
00:50:07.000 Pfizer is doing very well.
00:50:08.000 And we have numerous others.
00:50:10.000 Then we also have others that we're working on very closely with other countries, in particular Europe.
00:50:15.000 Let me follow up with you, because this is new information.
00:50:17.000 This is the fourth follow-up now.
00:50:18.000 The vaccine is coming soon, within weeks now.
00:50:20.000 Your own officials say it could take well into 2021, at the earliest, for enough Americans to get vaccinated.
00:50:26.000 And even then, they say the country will be wearing masks and distancing into 2022.
00:50:31.000 Is your timeline realistic?
00:50:33.000 No, I think my timeline is going to be more accurate.
00:50:35.000 I don't know that they're counting on the military the way I do, but we have our generals lined up.
00:50:40.000 One in particular, that's the head of logistics.
00:50:43.000 And this is a very easy distribution for him.
00:50:45.000 He's ready to go as soon as we have the vaccine.
00:50:48.000 And we expect to have 100 million vials as soon as we have the vaccine.
00:50:52.000 He's ready to go.
00:50:53.000 The Democratic Party is a party of anti-vaxxers.
00:50:55.000 They won't take the vaccine.
00:50:56.000 to Trump.
00:50:57.000 Let's see if she does that with Biden.
00:50:58.000 If it was approved by the government, what steps would you take to give Americans confidence
00:51:03.000 in a vaccine if it were approved?
00:51:04.000 The Democratic Party is a party of anti-vaxxers.
00:51:05.000 They won't take the vaccine.
00:51:06.000 They politicize it.
00:51:07.000 Make sure it's totally transparent.
00:51:09.000 Have the scientists see it, know it, look at it, go through all the processes.
00:51:14.000 And by the way, this is the same fellow who told you this is going to end by Easter last time.
00:51:18.000 This is the same fellow who told you that, don't worry, we're going to end this by the summer.
00:51:22.000 We're about to go into a dark winter.
00:51:24.000 A dark winter.
00:51:26.000 And he has no clear plan, and there's no prospect that there's going to be a vaccine available for the American people for the middle of next year.
00:51:32.000 Fear, fear, fear, hopelessness, unless you vote for him.
00:51:33.000 America, great, great, great, great progress.
00:51:35.000 President Trump's reaction, he says you have no plan.
00:51:37.000 Hope, hopelessness, fear, dark winter.
00:51:39.000 We're opening up our country.
00:51:40.000 We've learned and studied and understand the disease.
00:51:43.000 Which we didn't at the beginning.
00:51:45.000 When I closed and banned China from coming in, heavily infected, and then ultimately Europe.
00:51:51.000 But China was in January.
00:51:52.000 Months later he was saying I was xenophobic.
00:51:54.000 Catch a whiff of a six-year-old offstage.
00:51:56.000 And now he's saying, oh, I should have, you know, moved quicker.
00:52:00.000 But he didn't move quicker.
00:52:01.000 He was months behind me.
00:52:02.000 Many months behind me.
00:52:04.000 And frankly, he ran the H1N1 swine flu and it was a total disaster.
00:52:10.000 Far less lethal.
00:52:11.000 But it was a total disaster.
00:52:14.000 Had that had this kind of numbers?
00:52:19.000 700,000 people would be dead right now, but it is a far less lethal disease.
00:52:25.000 Look, his own person who ran that for him, who, as you know, was his chief of staff, said it was catastrophic.
00:52:36.000 It was horrible.
00:52:37.000 We didn't know what we were doing.
00:52:38.000 Now he comes up and he tells us how to do this.
00:52:41.000 Also, everything that he said about the way every single move that he said we should make That's what we've done.
00:52:47.000 We've done all of it.
00:52:48.000 But he was way behind us.
00:52:50.000 Vice President Biden, your response?
00:52:51.000 My response is he is xenophobic, but not because he shut down access from China.
00:52:56.000 And he did it late after 40 countries had already done that.
00:52:59.000 In addition to that, what he did, he made sure that we had 44 people that were in there in China trying to get to Wuhan to determine what exactly the source was.
00:53:07.000 What did the president say in January?
00:53:09.000 He said, no, he said this is he's being transparent.
00:53:13.000 The President of China is being transparent.
00:53:15.000 We owe him a debt of gratitude.
00:53:17.000 We have to thank him.
00:53:18.000 And then what happened was, we started talking about using the Defense Act.
00:53:22.000 Cuomo and Pelosi told people to go to Chinatown and movie theaters in March!
00:53:27.000 In March, asshat!
00:53:28.000 He had nothing, he did virtually nothing.
00:53:30.000 And you weren't anywhere.
00:53:31.000 And then he gets out of the hospital and he talks about, don't worry, it's all going to be over soon.
00:53:39.000 Come on!
00:53:40.000 There's not another serious scientist in the world who thinks it's going to be over soon.
00:53:43.000 President Trump, your reaction?
00:53:44.000 Say over soon?
00:53:45.000 I say we're learning to live with it.
00:53:47.000 We have no choice.
00:53:48.000 We can't lock ourselves up in a basement like Joe does.
00:53:51.000 He has the ability to lock himself up.
00:53:55.000 Oh, there it is.
00:53:55.000 Obviously made a lot of money someplace.
00:53:57.000 Oh, that's good.
00:53:58.000 He has this thing about living in a basement.
00:54:00.000 People can't do that.
00:54:01.000 By the way, I as the president couldn't do that.
00:54:03.000 I'd love to put myself in the basement or in a beautiful room in the White House and
00:54:07.000 go away for a year and a half until it disappears.
00:54:10.000 I can't do that.
00:54:11.000 And every every meeting I had, every meeting I had, and I'd meet a lot of families, including
00:54:16.000 Gold Star families and military families.
00:54:19.000 Every meeting I had, and I had to meet them.
00:54:21.000 I had to.
00:54:22.000 It would be horrible to have canceled everything.
00:54:24.000 I said, you know, this is dangerous.
00:54:27.000 And you catch it.
00:54:28.000 And, you know, I caught it.
00:54:29.000 I learned a lot.
00:54:30.000 I learned a lot.
00:54:31.000 Great doctors, great hospitals.
00:54:34.000 And now I recovered.
00:54:37.000 99.9 of young people recover.
00:54:41.000 99% of people recover.
00:54:42.000 We have to recover.
00:54:43.000 We can't close up our nation.
00:54:45.000 We have to open our schools.
00:54:47.000 And we can't close up our nation or you're not going to have a nation.
00:54:51.000 And of course, the CDC has said young people can get sick with COVID-19 and pass it.
00:54:55.000 Vice President Biden, I want to talk broadly about strategy, though.
00:55:00.000 Put your fake thumb down.
00:55:01.000 30 seconds, please.
00:55:01.000 And then I have a question.
00:55:02.000 No, number one.
00:55:03.000 He says that we're, you know, we're learning to live with it.
00:55:06.000 In your pants.
00:55:07.000 People are learning to die with it.
00:55:09.000 You folks home will have an empty chair at the kitchen table this morning.
00:55:12.000 That man, our wife, going to bed tonight and reaching over.
00:55:15.000 He sees an empty crutch by the fireplace.
00:55:18.000 It's gone.
00:55:19.000 Fuck off.
00:55:20.000 Learning to live with it.
00:55:21.000 Come on.
00:55:22.000 We're dying with it.
00:55:23.000 Because he's never said, he said it's dangerous.
00:55:26.000 When's the last time?
00:55:27.000 Anyone heard a glimmer of hope from Biden?
00:55:29.000 Not one.
00:55:31.000 America's crap.
00:55:32.000 President's crap.
00:55:33.000 People are learning to die.
00:55:35.000 You would think that everyone was catching mass cancer.
00:55:40.000 It's not my fault that he came here.
00:55:42.000 It's China's fault.
00:55:43.000 And you know what?
00:55:44.000 It's not Joe's fault that he came here either.
00:55:46.000 It's China's fault.
00:55:47.000 They kept it from going into the rest of China for the most part, but they didn't keep it from coming out to the world, including Europe and ourselves.
00:55:56.000 Vice President Biden.
00:55:57.000 The fact is that when we knew it was coming, when it hit, what happened?
00:56:02.000 What did the president say?
00:56:03.000 You said to go to movie theaters in Chinatown.
00:56:04.000 He said, don't worry, it's gonna go away.
00:56:06.000 Be gone by Easter, don't worry.
00:56:08.000 Warm weather, don't worry.
00:56:09.000 In March, your party said go to movie theaters in Chinatown and Fauci was talking about cruises.
00:56:14.000 A whole range of things the president has said.
00:56:16.000 Even today, he thinks we are in control.
00:56:18.000 Doubt your senses.
00:56:19.000 We're about to lose 200,000 more people.
00:56:23.000 President Trump.
00:56:24.000 Look, perhaps just to finish this.
00:56:26.000 I was kidding on that, but just to finish this.
00:56:30.000 When I closed, he said I shouldn't have closed.
00:56:33.000 And that went on for months.
00:56:35.000 Nancy Pelosi said the same thing.
00:56:37.000 She was dancing on the streets in Chinatown in San Francisco.
00:56:40.000 When I closed, he said, this is a terrible thing.
00:56:44.000 You're xenophobic.
00:56:45.000 I think he called me racist even.
00:56:47.000 And because I was closing it to China.
00:56:49.000 Now he says I should have closed it earlier.
00:56:52.000 It just, Joe, it doesn't work.
00:56:53.000 I didn't say either of those things.
00:56:54.000 You certainly did.
00:56:57.000 I talked about it in a different context.
00:57:00.000 It wasn't about closing the border to Chinese I'm coming to the United States.
00:57:04.000 All right, I want to talk about both of your different strategies.
00:57:06.000 It just happened to be the day of and in response to Donald Trump's stances.
00:57:10.000 That's obvious.
00:57:11.000 Do you want to respond to that quickly, Vice President Biden?
00:57:13.000 No.
00:57:13.000 Okay.
00:57:14.000 Let's talk about your different strategies toward dealing with this.
00:57:16.000 No, because I forgot what he said.
00:57:17.000 Mr. Vice President, you suggested you would support new shutdowns if scientists... That's what they do.
00:57:20.000 They call someone racist and xenophobic and no accountability.
00:57:22.000 What do you say to Americans who are fearful that the cost of shutdowns, the impact on the economy, the higher rates of hunger, depression, domestic and substance abuse outweighs the risk of exposure to the virus?
00:57:32.000 What I would say is I'm going to shut down the virus, not the country.
00:57:36.000 It's his ineptitude to cause the virus to cause the country to have to shut down in large part.
00:57:41.000 Why businesses have gone under, why schools are closed.
00:57:43.000 Really quickly, because he's answering with nothing and I know we don't want to get hit with a copyright, but notice when she asked Donald Trump, she said, what's the timeline on the vaccine?
00:57:51.000 Can you guarantee it?
00:57:53.000 Who's going to do it?
00:57:54.000 Which companies?
00:57:55.000 Very specific.
00:57:56.000 There have been no specific answers from Biden and no follow-ups from Biden.
00:58:00.000 I'm going to shut down the virus.
00:58:01.000 If that were Donald Trump, how?
00:58:03.000 With vaccines?
00:58:03.000 Who's gonna make it?
00:58:04.000 What's the timeline?
00:58:05.000 Can you guarantee it?
00:58:06.000 Who's ever heard slow up and slow down?
00:58:07.000 down the night but there are look they need standards the standard is if you
00:58:11.000 have a reproduction rate in a community that's above a certain level everybody
00:58:15.000 says slow up more social distance ever heard slow down slow ours and do not
00:58:21.000 open gymnasiums do not get this under control hold up Slow down.
00:58:25.000 Simmer up!
00:58:26.000 But when you do open, give the people the capacity to be able to open and have the capacity to do it safely.
00:58:31.000 I want to build the economy down!
00:58:32.000 For example, schools.
00:58:33.000 Schools, they need a lot of money to open.
00:58:35.000 They need to deal with ventilation systems.
00:58:37.000 They need to deal with smaller classes, more teachers, more pods.
00:58:40.000 And he's refused to support that money, or at least up to now.
00:58:44.000 Let's talk about schools.
00:58:45.000 President Trump, can you please- I think we have to respond if I may.
00:58:47.000 Support a school choice, dumbass!
00:58:49.000 He just threw money at it.
00:58:50.000 Look, all he does is talk about shutdowns.
00:58:52.000 He's being very polite.
00:58:54.000 His Democrat governor is Cuomo in New York.
00:58:57.000 You look at what's going on in California.
00:58:59.000 You look at Pennsylvania, North Carolina.
00:59:01.000 Democrats, Democrats all, they're shut down so tight and they're dying.
00:59:06.000 They're dying.
00:59:08.000 And he supports all these people.
00:59:10.000 All he talks about is shutdowns.
00:59:11.000 No, we're not going to shut down.
00:59:13.000 And we have to open our schools.
00:59:15.000 And it's like, as an example, I have a young son.
00:59:17.000 He also tested positive.
00:59:20.000 By the time I spoke to the doctor the second time, he was fine.
00:59:23.000 It just went away.
00:59:24.000 Young people.
00:59:26.000 I guess it's their immune system.
00:59:27.000 Let me follow up with you, President Trump.
00:59:28.000 You've demanded schools open in person and insist they can do it safely.
00:59:31.000 Another specific for Trump.
00:59:33.000 Another follow-up from him.
00:59:33.000 Boston became the latest city to move its public school system entirely online after a coronavirus outbreak.
00:59:38.000 It's a softer bias, but it's actually more pervasive.
00:59:39.000 What is your message to parents who worry that sending their children to school will endanger not only their kids, but also their teachers and families?
00:59:45.000 I want to open the school.
00:59:47.000 The transmittal rate to the teachers is Very small, but I want to open the schools.
00:59:53.000 We have to open our country.
00:59:54.000 We're not gonna have a country.
00:59:55.000 You can't do this.
00:59:57.000 We can't keep this country closed.
00:59:58.000 This is a massive country with a massive economy.
01:00:02.000 People are losing their jobs.
01:00:04.000 They're committing suicide.
01:00:06.000 There's depression, alcohol, drugs at a level that nobody's ever seen before.
01:00:11.000 There's abuse, tremendous abuse.
01:00:13.000 We have to open our country.
01:00:15.000 You know, I've said it often, the cure cannot be worse than the problem itself.
01:00:20.000 And that's what's happening.
01:00:21.000 And he wants to close down, he'll close down the country.
01:00:23.000 By the way, you know who's against closed downs, lockdowns?
01:00:25.000 The World Health Organization.
01:00:27.000 And now Fauci, even though he was for them.
01:00:29.000 I never said lockdowns.
01:00:30.000 I'll show you a video.
01:00:31.000 simply not true. We ought to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time. We ought to
01:00:35.000 be able to safely open, but when they need resources to open, you need to be able to,
01:00:41.000 for example, if you're going to open a business, have social distancing within the business.
01:00:46.000 You need to have, if you have a restaurant, you need to have plexiglass dividers so people
01:00:49.000 cannot infect one another. You need to be in a position where you can take testing rapidly
01:00:55.000 and know whether a person is in fact infected.
01:00:59.000 You need to be able to trace.
01:01:00.000 You need to be able to provide all the resources that are needed to do this.
01:01:04.000 And that is not inconsistent with saying that we're going to make sure they can open safely.
01:01:10.000 And by the way, all you teachers out there, not that many of you are going to die, so don't worry about it.
01:01:16.000 So don't worry about it.
01:01:17.000 But if that's true, why shouldn't you say it?
01:01:19.000 By the way, I will say this, if you go and look at what's happened to New York, it's a ghost town.
01:01:25.000 It's a ghost town.
01:01:26.000 And when you talk about Plexiglas, these are restaurants that are dying.
01:01:30.000 These are businesses with no money.
01:01:32.000 Putting a plexiglass is unbelievably expensive, and it's not dancing.
01:01:37.000 I mean, you're going to sit there in a cubicle wrapped around with plastic.
01:01:41.000 It's these are businesses that are dying, Joe.
01:01:43.000 You can't do that to people.
01:01:45.000 You just can't.
01:01:46.000 Take a look at New York and what's happened to my wonderful city for for so many years.
01:01:51.000 I loved it.
01:01:52.000 It was vibrant.
01:01:53.000 It's dying.
01:01:53.000 Everyone's leaving New York.
01:01:55.000 Take a look at what New York has done in terms of More deaths per capita than anywhere on earth!
01:02:00.000 That'd be like saying, yeah, look at what the leprosy pit did!
01:02:04.000 saying, yeah, look at what the leprosy pit did.
01:02:04.000 What?
01:02:06.000 And look at the states that are having such a spike.
01:02:08.000 They killed all the lepers.
01:02:09.000 In the coronavirus.
01:02:10.000 They're the red states.
01:02:12.000 They're the states in the Midwest.
01:02:13.000 They're the states in the upper Midwest.
01:02:15.000 That's where the spike is occurring significantly.
01:02:17.000 But they're all Americans.
01:02:19.000 They're all Americans.
01:02:20.000 And what we have to do is say, wear these masks, come on now.
01:02:24.000 Make sure we get the help that the businesses need that has been already been asked to do that.
01:02:29.000 It's been out there since the beginning of summer, and nothing's happened.
01:02:31.000 President, New York has lost more than 40,000 people.
01:02:33.000 11,000 people in nursing homes.
01:02:34.000 The blue states have the worst economies and they have the worst death rates. It's not even close. You can bring it up
01:02:38.000 as an overlay 11,000 people in nursing home president trump. What about
01:02:42.000 say spike?
01:02:43.000 Take a look at what's happening in pennsylvania where they've had it closed
01:02:48.000 Take a look at what's happening with your friend in Michigan, where her husband's the only one allowed to do anything.
01:02:54.000 It's been like a prison.
01:02:55.000 Now it was just ruled unconstitutional.
01:02:59.000 So much rape.
01:02:59.000 They're having spikes and they've been closed and they're getting killed financially.
01:03:04.000 We can't let that happen, Joe.
01:03:06.000 You can't let that happen.
01:03:08.000 We have to open up and we understand the disease.
01:03:11.000 We have to protect our seniors.
01:03:12.000 We have to protect our elderly.
01:03:14.000 We have to protect especially our seniors with heart problems and diabetes problems,
01:03:19.000 and we will protect them.
01:03:20.000 We have the best testing in the world by far.
01:03:22.000 That's why we have so many cases.
01:03:24.000 Let me follow up with you before we move on to our next section.
01:03:26.000 President Trump, this week you called Dr. Anthony Fauci the nation's best known infectious disease expert, quote, a disaster.
01:03:33.000 You described him and other medical experts as, quote, idiots.
01:03:36.000 If you're not listening to them, who are you listening to?
01:03:38.000 I'm listening to all of them, including Anthony.
01:03:41.000 I get along very well with Anthony.
01:03:43.000 He did say don't wear masks.
01:03:46.000 He did say, as you know, this is not going to be a problem.
01:03:51.000 I think he's a Democrat, but that's OK.
01:03:53.000 He said this is not going to be a problem.
01:03:55.000 We are not going to have a problem at all.
01:03:57.000 When Joe says that, I said, Anthony Fauci said, and others, and many others, and I'm not knocking him a lot.
01:04:04.000 Nobody knew.
01:04:05.000 Look, nobody knew what this thing was.
01:04:07.000 Nobody knew where it was coming from, what it was.
01:04:10.000 We've learned a lot.
01:04:11.000 But Anthony said, don't wear masks.
01:04:13.000 Now he wants to wear masks.
01:04:14.000 Anthony also said, if you look back, exact words, here's his exact words.
01:04:18.000 This is no problem.
01:04:19.000 This is gonna go away soon.
01:04:20.000 So he's allowed to make mistakes.
01:04:22.000 He happens to be a good person.
01:04:24.000 Vice President Biden, your response quickly and then we're going to move on to the next section.
01:04:28.000 My response is that the President knew in January and didn't tell the American people.
01:04:32.000 He was told this was a serious virus that spread in the air.
01:04:35.000 We can fact check Biden on anything, sweetheart!
01:04:38.000 Anything!
01:04:39.000 Anything at all!
01:04:39.000 Look, I've got the time.
01:04:40.000 Did he just say Donald Trump knew in January and didn't do anything?
01:04:43.000 Where's the timeline here, Gibby?
01:04:45.000 I thought you put the... Okay.
01:04:46.000 January 31st announced Chinese travel restrictions and declared it a public health emergency.
01:04:54.000 Your people said go to Chinatown as far as March!
01:04:57.000 How about a follow-up, Kristen Welker?
01:04:58.000 How about a follow-up, Ms.
01:05:00.000 Abercrombie-Effnick?
01:05:01.000 I'm going to give you 30 seconds to respond and then we're going to move on.
01:05:03.000 You're the one that takes all the money from Wall Street.
01:05:05.000 I don't take it.
01:05:06.000 But from some of the brokers said sell short because we got to get moving. It's a dangerous problem
01:05:11.000 This is what I have to respond and then the Wall Street one.
01:05:14.000 I don't know somebody went to wall street You're the one that takes all the money from Wall Street. I
01:05:18.000 don't take it. I hope you have raised a lot of money tremendous amounts of money
01:05:23.000 And every time you raise money, deals are made, you know?
01:05:25.000 I could raise so much more money, as president, and as somebody that knows most of those people, I could call the heads of Wall Street, the heads of every company in America, I would blow away every record, but I don't want to do that, because it puts me in a bad position.
01:05:39.000 And then you bring up Wall Street, because you're the one that takes the money from Wall Street, not me.
01:05:46.000 I could blow away your records, that you wouldn't believe. We don't need money. We have
01:05:50.000 plenty of money. In fact, we've got plenty of money. We beat Hillary Clinton with a
01:05:53.000 tiny fraction of the money that she was able to get. All right, gentlemen, we're going to move on.
01:05:56.000 Don't tell me about Wall Street.
01:05:57.000 Average contribution, $43. All right, we're going to move on to our next section, which is national
01:06:02.000 security. And I do want to start with the security of our elections and some breaking news from
01:06:07.000 overnight. Just last night, top intelligence officials confirmed again that both Russia and
01:06:11.000 Iran are working to influence this election. In a recorded call, calling Fauci an idiot,
01:06:15.000 and we're not asking Joe Biden where his money comes from.
01:06:18.000 Don't leave, man.
01:06:19.000 This is worse than Chris Wallace, and I hate that it won't get as much outrage as Chris Wallace because the outrage machine on the right doesn't spot.
01:06:27.000 This is far more subversive.
01:06:28.000 This is far worse because people don't even know what they're watching.
01:06:31.000 And I ask everyone else to take the pledge.
01:06:33.000 I made it clear that any country, no matter who it is, that interferes in American elections will pay a price.
01:06:39.000 They will pay a price.
01:06:41.000 What price?
01:06:42.000 It's been overwhelmingly clear this election.
01:06:44.000 Is Facebook a country?
01:06:44.000 I'm not even getting to the last one.
01:06:46.000 This election, that Russia has been involved, China has been involved to some degree, and now we learn that Iran is involved.
01:06:53.000 Iran, because he wants you!
01:06:54.000 They will pay a price if I'm elected.
01:06:56.000 He wants you, so you line their pockets with billions.
01:06:57.000 They're interfering with American sovereignty.
01:06:59.000 That's what's going on right now.
01:07:01.000 They're interfering with American sovereignty.
01:07:06.000 Who got the official Ayatollah Fatwa endorsement, Joe?
01:07:10.000 I don't know why he hasn't said a word to Putin about it.
01:07:13.000 And I don't know what he has recently said, if anything, to the Iranians.
01:07:16.000 My guess is he'd probably be more outspoken.
01:07:18.000 with regard to the Iranians.
01:07:20.000 But the point is this, folks.
01:07:22.000 We are in a situation where we have foreign companies, countries trying to interfere in
01:07:27.000 the outcome of our election.
01:07:29.000 His own national security adviser told him that what is happening with his buddy, well,
01:07:34.000 I won't, I shouldn't, oh, I will.
01:07:36.000 His buddy Rudy Giuliani, he's being used as a Russian pawn.
01:07:40.000 He's being fed information that is Russian, that is not true.
01:07:45.000 Do you know why he's tripping up?
01:07:47.000 Do you know why he's tripping up?
01:07:48.000 Because he doesn't want to legally be on the hook here.
01:07:50.000 He cannot say the emails are not real.
01:07:52.000 The easiest thing would be right now for Joe Biden and his beady little doll shark I don't know why he doesn't do it, but it's worth asking the question.
01:08:01.000 Why isn't that being done?
01:08:02.000 true. Tristan Welker, if you do not ask him about those emails, point blank, are they
01:08:06.000 authentic or not? You deserve to be fired.
01:08:10.000 He brought it up.
01:08:11.000 He's engaged in activities that are trying to destabilize all of NATO. I don't know why
01:08:14.000 he doesn't do it, but it's worth asking the question. Why isn't that being done? Any country
01:08:20.000 interferes with us will in fact pay a price because they're affecting our sovereignty.
01:08:26.000 President Trump, same question to you.
01:08:27.000 Let me ask the question.
01:08:28.000 You're going to have two minutes to respond.
01:08:30.000 For two elections in a row now, there has been substantial interference from foreign adversaries.
01:08:34.000 What would you do in your next term to put an end to this?
01:08:37.000 Two minutes on your own.
01:08:38.000 Let me respond to the first part as Joe answered.
01:08:41.000 Joe got three and a half million dollars from Russia.
01:08:44.000 And it came through Putin because he was very friendly with the former mayor of Moscow.
01:08:49.000 And it was the mayor of Moscow's wife.
01:08:51.000 And you got three and a half million dollars.
01:08:53.000 Your family got three and a half million dollars.
01:08:55.000 And, you know, someday you're going to have to explain why did you get three and a half?
01:08:59.000 I never got any money from Russia.
01:09:00.000 I don't get money from Russia.
01:09:02.000 Now about your thing last night, I knew all about that.
01:09:05.000 And through John, who is John Ratcliffe, who is fantastic DNI, he said, The one thing that's common to both of them, they both want you to lose.
01:09:16.000 Because there has been nobody tougher to Russia.
01:09:19.000 Between the sanctions, nobody tougher than me on Russia.
01:09:22.000 Absolutely.
01:09:22.000 Between the sanctions, between all of what I've done with NATO.
01:09:27.000 You know, I've got the NATO countries to put up an extra $130 billion going to $420 billion a year.
01:09:34.000 That's to go out against Russia.
01:09:36.000 I sold, while he was selling pillows and sheets.
01:09:39.000 I sold tank busters to Ukraine.
01:09:42.000 There has been nobody tougher in Russia than Donald Trump.
01:09:48.000 I'll tell you, they were so bad, they took over the submarine port.
01:09:52.000 You remember that very well.
01:09:53.000 He doesn't.
01:09:55.000 During you and Barack Obama, they took over a big part of what should have been Ukraine.
01:10:01.000 You handed it to them, but you were getting a lot of money from Russia.
01:10:04.000 They were paying you a lot of money, and they probably still are.
01:10:08.000 But now, with what came out today, it's even worse.
01:10:11.000 All of the emails, the emails, the horrible emails of the kind of money that you were raking in, you and your family, and Joe, you were vice president when some of Are those emails false?
01:10:21.000 Give him the rope.
01:10:22.000 Someone give him the rope.
01:10:24.000 Please.
01:10:25.000 someone give him the right.
01:10:26.000 Please.
01:10:27.000 Why is it somebody just had a news conference a little while ago.
01:10:30.000 Yeah, there it is.
01:10:31.000 It was essentially supposed to work with you and your family.
01:10:34.000 But what he said was damning.
01:10:35.000 And regardless of me, I think you have to clean it up and talk to the American people.
01:10:40.000 Maybe you can do it right now.
01:10:43.000 Vice President Biden, you may respond.
01:10:45.000 I do want to follow up on the election security.
01:10:47.000 I have not taken a penny from any foreign source ever in my life.
01:10:52.000 We learned that this president paid 50 times the tax in China, has a secret bank account with China, does business in China, and in fact is talking about me taking money?
01:11:05.000 I have not taken a single penny from any country whatsoever, ever.
01:11:10.000 Number one.
01:11:11.000 Number two.
01:11:12.000 Mr. President, I have released all of my tax returns.
01:11:15.000 22 years.
01:11:16.000 That's the same talking point.
01:11:18.000 22 years of my tax returns.
01:11:19.000 The email's real, Joe.
01:11:21.000 I don't give a rat's ass if you're one of the least successful businessmen in government.
01:11:25.000 Which, by the way, is why you support lockdowns or shutting down businesses for 25 percent.
01:11:29.000 You think a restaurant can operate at 25 percent capacity with plexiglass?
01:11:32.000 He has no idea because he's suckled at the government teats for his entire life.
01:11:38.000 Donald Trump knows you can't operate at 25 percent capacity.
01:11:41.000 It's not the new normal, because it cannot be sustained.
01:11:43.000 He's full of shit.
01:11:44.000 He's not answering.
01:11:45.000 If Christian Welker doesn't ask him, are the emails authentic?
01:12:06.000 They said, sir, you prepaid tens of millions of dollars.
01:12:09.000 I prepaid my tax.
01:12:10.000 Tens over the last number of years.
01:12:13.000 Tens of millions of dollars I prepaid.
01:12:16.000 Because at some point they think it's an estimate, they think I may have to pay tax.
01:12:21.000 So I already prepaid it.
01:12:22.000 Nobody told me that.
01:12:23.000 Nobody told you that.
01:12:25.000 Excuse me.
01:12:25.000 And it wasn't written, whenever they write this, they keep talking about $750, which I think is a filing fee.
01:12:31.000 But let me just tell you, I prepaid millions and millions of dollars in taxes.
01:12:37.000 Number one.
01:12:37.000 Number two, I don't make money from China.
01:12:40.000 You do.
01:12:40.000 I don't make money from Ukraine.
01:12:42.000 You do.
01:12:43.000 I don't make money from Russia.
01:12:46.000 You made $3.5 million, Joe, and your son gave you.
01:12:49.000 They even have a statement that we have to give 10% to the big man.
01:12:54.000 You're the big man, I think.
01:12:55.000 I don't know.
01:12:56.000 Maybe you're not.
01:12:57.000 But you're the big man, I think.
01:12:58.000 Your son said we have to give 10% to the big man.
01:13:01.000 Joe, what's that all about?
01:13:03.000 It's terrible.
01:13:06.000 I'm going to let you both respond very quickly.
01:13:08.000 You said you spoke to your accountant about potentially releasing your taxes.
01:13:12.000 Did he tell you when you can release them?
01:13:13.000 Do you have a deadline for when you're going to release them?
01:13:16.000 I get negated worse than the Tea Party got treated.
01:13:20.000 Because I have a lot of people in there, deep down in the IRS, they treat me horribly.
01:13:24.000 We made a deal, it was all settled until I decide to run for president.
01:13:28.000 I get treated very badly by the IRS, very unfairly.
01:13:32.000 But we had a deal all done.
01:13:33.000 As soon as we're completed with the deal, I wanna release it.
01:13:36.000 But I have paid millions and millions of dollars, and it's worse than paying.
01:13:42.000 I paid in advance, it's called pre-paying your taxes, I paid in advance.
01:13:45.000 I want to ask you both about questions regarding your potential foreign entanglements and questions that have been raised to give you both a chance to talk about this more broadly.
01:13:55.000 Respond very quickly and then I'll get to my question.
01:13:57.000 He's been saying this for four years.
01:14:00.000 Show us.
01:14:01.000 Just show us.
01:14:02.000 Stop playing around.
01:14:04.000 Nobody knows it, Mr. President.
01:14:07.000 What they do know is you're not paying your taxes or you're paying taxes that are so low.
01:14:15.000 When last time he said what he paid- Undertaker, I'm gonna need a refill.
01:14:18.000 Make this one a little stronger, please.
01:14:20.000 I know how to game the system.
01:14:22.000 Come on.
01:14:23.000 Come on, folks.
01:14:24.000 Come on, drink.
01:14:24.000 I'll see you on ice.
01:14:28.000 I was put through a phony witch hunt for three years.
01:14:33.000 It started before I even got elected.
01:14:36.000 They spied on my campaign.
01:14:39.000 No president should ever have to go through what I went through.
01:14:41.000 Let me just say this.
01:14:43.000 Mueller and 18 angry Democrats and FBI agents all over the place spent $48 million.
01:14:50.000 That's not a doubt.
01:14:50.000 That's not a question.
01:14:51.000 Why does he have to tell her to let him speak?
01:14:53.000 Including my tax returns.
01:14:55.000 And they found absolutely no collusion and nothing wrong.
01:15:00.000 $48 million.
01:15:00.000 I guarantee you if I spent $1 million on you, Joe, I could find plenty wrong.
01:15:04.000 Because the kind of things that you've done and the kind of monies that your family has taken.
01:15:10.000 I mean, your brother made money in Iraq.
01:15:12.000 Millions of dollars.
01:15:13.000 Your other brother made a fortune.
01:15:15.000 And it's all through you, Joe.
01:15:17.000 And they say you get some of it.
01:15:19.000 And you do live very well.
01:15:20.000 You have houses all over the place.
01:15:21.000 You live very well.
01:15:22.000 All right, gentlemen, let me just ask some questions about all of this broadly.
01:15:25.000 Vice President Biden, there have been questions about the work your son has done in China.
01:15:29.000 That's his tell when he's lying.
01:15:30.000 For a Ukrainian energy company when you were vice president.
01:15:32.000 Play poker with Biden.
01:15:33.000 Oh man, he's bluffing.
01:15:34.000 Is anything about those relationships inappropriate or unethical?
01:15:38.000 Nothing was unethical.
01:15:39.000 Here's what the deal.
01:15:40.000 What about inappropriate?
01:15:41.000 With regard to Ukraine.
01:15:44.000 We had this whole question about whether or not, because he was on the board of Arizona, a company, that somehow I had done something wrong.
01:15:53.000 Every single solitary person when he was going through his impeachment, testifying under oath to work for him, said I did my job impeccably.
01:16:02.000 I carried out U.S.
01:16:04.000 policy.
01:16:04.000 Not one single solitary thing was out of line.
01:16:08.000 Not a single thing.
01:16:10.000 Number one.
01:16:11.000 Number two.
01:16:12.000 The guy who got in trouble in Ukraine was this guy trying to bribe the Ukrainian government to say something negative about me, which they would not do, and did not do, because it never, ever, ever happened.
01:16:22.000 What?
01:16:23.000 What is he talking about?
01:16:23.000 Red's abandoned us on here.
01:16:24.000 Is there any reason?
01:16:25.000 This is totally fabricated and new.
01:16:27.000 In terms of this thing about... She should follow up on that.
01:16:29.000 What?
01:16:29.000 What are you talking about?
01:16:30.000 China.
01:16:31.000 I have not had... The only guy who made money from China is this guy.
01:16:36.000 Huh?
01:16:36.000 Nobody else has made money from China.
01:16:38.000 President Trump, let me ask my question to you, very quickly.
01:16:43.000 His son didn't have a job for a long time, was sadly no longer in the military service, I won't get into that, and he didn't have a job.
01:16:52.000 As soon as he became Vice President, Burisma, not the best reputation in the world, I hear they paid him $183,000 a month.
01:17:04.000 183 and they gave him a $3 million upfront payment.
01:17:07.000 All right.
01:17:07.000 And he had no energy.
01:17:08.000 I'm going to let the vice president get to a question to you.
01:17:12.000 No basis for that.
01:17:13.000 Everybody investigated that.
01:17:14.000 No one said anything he did was wrong in Ukraine.
01:17:17.000 Okay, President Trump, this is for you.
01:17:18.000 Incorrect.
01:17:19.000 Since you took office, you've never divested from your business.
01:17:22.000 The guy who works with you just before this, who said there wasn't, he just handed over laptops and cell phones.
01:17:25.000 This week, which was referenced, does indicate that your company has a bank account in China.
01:17:30.000 So how can voters know that you don't have any foreign conflicts of interest?
01:17:33.000 I have many bank accounts, and they're all listed, and they're all over the place.
01:17:37.000 I mean, I was a businessman doing business.
01:17:40.000 The bank account you're referring to, which everybody knows about it, it's listed.
01:17:44.000 The bank account was in...
01:17:47.000 2013.
01:17:48.000 That's what it was.
01:17:50.000 It was open to do.
01:17:51.000 It was closed in 2015, I believe.
01:17:54.000 And then I decided because I was going to do I was thinking about doing a deal in China like millions of other people.
01:18:00.000 I was thinking about it.
01:18:01.000 And I decided I'm not going to do it.
01:18:03.000 Didn't like it.
01:18:04.000 I decided not to do it.
01:18:05.000 Had an account open and I closed it.
01:18:07.000 Okay, excuse me.
01:18:09.000 And then, unlike him, where he's vice president and he does business, I then decided to run for president after that.
01:18:16.000 That was before.
01:18:17.000 So I closed it before I even ran for president, let alone became president.
01:18:23.000 Big difference.
01:18:24.000 He is the vice president of the United States, and his son, his brother, and his other brother are getting rich.
01:18:31.000 They're like a vacuum cleaner.
01:18:34.000 Not true.
01:18:37.000 My son is not a vacuum cleaner.
01:18:39.000 He does not suck.
01:18:40.000 He blows.
01:18:43.000 He blows.
01:18:44.000 Nah, his banging 10 gram crack rocks makes Charlie Sheen look like droopy eyed armless children, but he is not a Kirby.
01:18:52.000 He snorts.
01:18:53.000 He does blow.
01:18:54.000 What I think China do is play by the international rules.
01:18:58.000 Not like he has done.
01:18:59.000 He has caused the deficit in China to go up, not down.
01:19:04.000 With China.
01:19:05.000 Up, not down.
01:19:06.000 We are making sure that in order to do business in China, you have to give all your intellectual property, you have to have a partner in China that's 51%.
01:19:15.000 We would not do that at all, number one.
01:19:17.000 Number two, we're in a situation where China would have to play by the rules internationally as well.
01:19:20.000 There has never been more intellectual property theft in the history of the United States and under the Obama administration, period.
01:19:25.000 Ever.
01:19:29.000 Ask that, Tristan Welker!
01:19:31.000 Ask that or do you feel bad for him because he already pooped his defense.
01:19:34.000 Come on, ask that!
01:19:35.000 Intellectual property theft.
01:19:37.000 Ask about TPP.
01:19:38.000 Ask about NAFTA versus the United States-Mexico agreement, Canada agreement.
01:19:43.000 Ask!
01:19:45.000 And the Chinese President and Putin and others.
01:19:48.000 And he pokes his finger in the eye of all of our friends, all of our allies.
01:19:52.000 We make up only... You mean like Israel?
01:19:55.000 25%.
01:19:55.000 What did you do for them?
01:19:56.000 25%.
01:19:56.000 You gave Iran money.
01:19:58.000 You want them wiped off the face of the map?
01:19:59.000 Donald Trump signed the greatest peace treaty that we've seen in our lifetime.
01:20:02.000 What did you do with our allies?
01:20:03.000 These are the rules.
01:20:04.000 You play by them or you're going to pay the price for not paying by them.
01:20:07.000 You had a key swapping party with Trudeau?
01:20:09.000 That's the way I want it.
01:20:09.000 And that's what we did.
01:20:11.000 And upholding steel tariffs and a range of other things.
01:20:13.000 And we were president and vice president.
01:20:15.000 All right, let's talk about North Korea.
01:20:16.000 Excuse me, you don't have to respond to that.
01:20:18.000 Okay, very quickly.
01:20:20.000 Very nice.
01:20:21.000 After spending 10 minutes in office and being in Air Force Two, number one.
01:20:27.000 Number two, there's a very strong email talking about your family wanting to make $10 million a year for introductions.
01:20:36.000 President Trump, on China policy, though, what specifically are you going to do?
01:20:40.000 That is about introductions to foreign entities, sweetheart!
01:20:43.000 You said you're going to make them pay.
01:20:44.000 China is paying.
01:20:45.000 They're paying billions and billions of dollars.
01:20:47.000 I just gave $28 billion to our farmers.
01:20:49.000 Taxpayers' money.
01:20:55.000 Oh, you're concerned with taxpayer money.
01:20:57.000 You know who the taxpayer is?
01:20:59.000 It's called China.
01:21:00.000 China paid $20,000.
01:21:03.000 They devalued their currency and they also paid up.
01:21:06.000 Why is Biden's mic on?
01:21:06.000 And you know who got the money?
01:21:07.000 Our farmers, our great farmers, because they were targeted.
01:21:10.000 You never charged them anything.
01:21:12.000 Also, I charged them 25% on dumped steel because they were killing our steel industry.
01:21:18.000 We were not going to have a steel industry.
01:21:20.000 And now we have a steel industry.
01:21:21.000 Vice President Biden, your response, please.
01:21:23.000 Our response is, look, there's a reason why he's bringing up all this malarkey.
01:21:30.000 There's a reason for it.
01:21:31.000 He doesn't want to talk about the substantive issues.
01:21:34.000 It's not about his family and my family.
01:21:36.000 It's about your family.
01:21:37.000 And your family's hurting badly.
01:21:39.000 If you're making less than, if you're a middle class family, you're getting hurt badly right now.
01:21:43.000 By the way, middle class families, okay, are making on average over $4,000 more per year in three and a half years of Donald Trump compared to a $1,000 gain under eight years of Obama will bring up the overlay.
01:21:57.000 Middle class families have never seen fewer gains, fewer tangible gains, That's a typical political statement.
01:22:14.000 Let's get off this China thing and then he looks.
01:22:17.000 The family, around the table, everything.
01:22:19.000 Just a typical politician when I see that.
01:22:21.000 I'm not a typical politician.
01:22:23.000 That's why I got elected.
01:22:24.000 Let's get off the subject of China.
01:22:26.000 Let's talk around sitting around the table.
01:22:29.000 Come on Joe, you can do better.
01:22:31.000 President Trump, you've met with North Korea... I wish you wouldn't have said the average wage increase, but I'll take it.
01:22:35.000 You've talked about your beautiful letters with him, you've touted the fact that there hasn't been a war or a long-range missile test, and yet North Korea recently rolled out its biggest ever intercontinental ballistic missile and continues to develop its nuclear arsenal.
01:22:49.000 Do you see that as a betrayal of the relationship?
01:22:51.000 They rolled out a Lego toy instead of a... I did, you see?
01:22:53.000 If we use that, send food and money, please.
01:22:56.000 Obama, we sat in the White House right at the beginning, had a great conversation.
01:23:00.000 It was supposed to be 15 minutes and it was well over an hour.
01:23:03.000 He said the biggest problem we have with North is North Korea.
01:23:07.000 He indicated we will be in a war with North Korea.
01:23:09.000 Guess what?
01:23:10.000 It would be a nuclear war.
01:23:12.000 And he does have plenty of nuclear capability.
01:23:14.000 In the meantime, I have a very good relationship with him.
01:23:17.000 Different kind of a guy, but he probably thinks the same thing about me.
01:23:21.000 We have a different kind of a relationship.
01:23:23.000 We have a very good relationship, and there's no war.
01:23:26.000 And you know, about two months ago, he broke into a certain area.
01:23:30.000 They said, oh, there's gonna be trouble.
01:23:31.000 I said, no, they're not, because he's not gonna do that.
01:23:34.000 And I was right.
01:23:35.000 Look, instead of being in a war where millions of people, Seoul, you know, is 25 miles away, Millions and millions, 32 million people.
01:23:42.000 Millions of people would be dead right now.
01:23:43.000 We don't have a war and I have a good relationship.
01:23:45.000 Did they just turn Donald Trump's mic off?
01:23:46.000 Did they?
01:23:46.000 While he was answering but didn't turn Joe Biden's mic off?
01:23:48.000 President Biden, to you, North Korea conducted four nuclear tests under the Obama administration.
01:23:53.000 Why do you think you would be able to rein in this persistent threat?
01:23:56.000 Because I made it clear to China they had to be part of the deal because here's the
01:24:00.000 ring.
01:24:01.000 I mean, while he was answering, but didn't turn Joe Biden's mic off while Trump was answering.
01:24:05.000 They said, why are you moving your missile defense up so close?
01:24:08.000 Why are you moving more forces here?
01:24:10.000 Why are you continuing to do military maneuvers with South Korea?
01:24:16.000 I said because North Korea is a problem and we're going to continue to do it.
01:24:21.000 He's talked about his good buddy who's a thug.
01:24:23.000 A thug.
01:24:23.000 And he talks about how we're better off.
01:24:25.000 first three years in office, it's over $5,000 over the course of four years.
01:24:27.000 Eight years of Obama, about $1,000.
01:24:30.000 I think we have a source in the Wall Street Journal.
01:24:32.000 Let's go back to crazy, demented old circus monkey.
01:24:33.000 He's talked about his good buddy, who's a thug, a thug, and he talks about how we're better off.
01:24:39.000 And they have much more capable missiles, able to reach US territory much more easily than everybody
01:24:44.000 never did before.
01:24:45.000 else.
01:24:45.000 Let me follow up with you, Vice President Biden.
01:24:47.000 You've said you wouldn't meet with Kim Jong-un without preconditions.
01:24:50.000 Are there any conditions under which you would meet with him?
01:24:53.000 I don't think I'd do it without preconditions.
01:24:55.000 I'm riddled with them, Kirsten.
01:24:56.000 I don't think he would agree that he would be drawing down his nuclear capacity to get
01:24:59.000 that the Korean Peninsula should be a nuclear-free zone.
01:25:02.000 All right, let's move on to American family members.
01:25:05.000 How about Iran?
01:25:05.000 Could Iran be a nuclear-free zone, you prick?
01:25:09.000 Who, by the way, he combed his hair.
01:25:10.000 Look at the back of his head, it's like Sonic.
01:25:11.000 He didn't like him.
01:25:12.000 He wouldn't do it.
01:25:13.000 There's a point.
01:25:14.000 Okay, I got to get him to respond to that before we move on.
01:25:16.000 And that's okay.
01:25:17.000 You know what, North Korea?
01:25:19.000 We're not in a war.
01:25:20.000 We have a good relationship.
01:25:21.000 You know, people don't understand.
01:25:23.000 Having a good relationship with leaders of other countries is a good thing.
01:25:26.000 We have a lot of questions to get to.
01:25:29.000 We had a good relationship with Hitler before he in fact invaded.
01:25:32.000 What?
01:25:34.000 The rest of Europe.
01:25:35.000 Come on.
01:25:36.000 You were giving handjobs to Akhmedinejad.
01:25:39.000 That's why Iran launched a disinformation campaign to intimidate people into not voting for Donald Trump.
01:25:47.000 That just happened today.
01:25:48.000 Iran wants Joe Biden.
01:25:51.000 And they're far greater of a threat than North Korea.
01:25:54.000 Not only to us, but to our allies.
01:25:57.000 North Korea was a mess.
01:25:59.000 And in fact, if you remember the first two or three months, there was a very dangerous period in my first three months before we sort of worked things out a little bit.
01:26:08.000 It was a very good.
01:26:09.000 They left us a mess.
01:26:11.000 And Obama would be, I think, the first to say it was the single biggest problem.
01:26:16.000 He thought that our country.
01:26:17.000 All right, let's move on to American families and the economy.
01:26:20.000 One of the issues that's most important to them is healthcare, as you both know.
01:26:25.000 Today there was a key vote in a new Supreme Court, Justice Amy Coney Barrett, and healthcare is at the center of her confirmation vote.
01:26:32.000 Over 20 million Americans get their health insurance Sure.
01:26:35.000 through the Affordable Care Act.
01:26:36.000 And a hooker says the blessing.
01:26:37.000 It's headed to the Supreme Court.
01:26:38.000 And your administration, Mr. President, is advocating for the court to overturn it.
01:26:42.000 If the Supreme Court does overturn that law, those 20 million Americans could lose their
01:26:47.000 health insurance almost overnight.
01:26:49.000 So what would you do if those people have their health insurance taken away and you
01:26:52.000 have two minutes uninterrupted?
01:26:53.000 Sure.
01:26:54.000 First of all, I've already done something that nobody thought was possible.
01:26:58.000 Through the legislature, I terminated the individual mandate.
01:27:02.000 That is the worst part of Obamacare, as we call it.
01:27:06.000 The individual mandate where you have to pay a fortune for the privilege of not having to pay for bad health insurance.
01:27:12.000 I terminated it.
01:27:13.000 It's gone.
01:27:14.000 Now it's in court because Obamacare is no good.
01:27:17.000 But then I made a decision.
01:27:18.000 Run it as well as you can to my people, great people.
01:27:22.000 Run it as well as you can.
01:27:23.000 I could have gone the other route and made everybody very unhappy.
01:27:27.000 They ran it.
01:27:28.000 Premiums are down, everything's down.
01:27:30.000 Here's the problem.
01:27:31.000 No matter how well you run it, it's no good.
01:27:33.000 What we'd like to do is terminate it.
01:27:36.000 We have the individual mandate done.
01:27:38.000 I don't know that it's going to work.
01:27:40.000 If we don't win, we will have to run it, and we'll have Obamacare, but it'll be better run.
01:27:45.000 But it no longer is Obamacare, because without the individual mandate, it's much different.
01:27:50.000 Pre-existing conditions will always stay.
01:27:52.000 What I would like to do is a much better healthcare, much better, We'll always protect people with pre-existing.
01:27:59.000 So I'd like to terminate Obamacare, come up with a brand new, beautiful healthcare.
01:28:04.000 The Democrats will do it because there'll be tremendous pressure on them, and we might even have the House by that time.
01:28:09.000 And I think we're going to win the House, okay?
01:28:11.000 You'll see, but I think we're going to win the House.
01:28:13.000 But come up with a better healthcare, always protecting people with pre-existing conditions.
01:28:20.000 We have 180 million people out there that have great private healthcare, far more than we're talking about with Obamacare.
01:28:27.000 Joe Biden is gonna terminate all of those policies.
01:28:30.000 These are people that love their healthcare, people that have been successful, middle income people, been successful.
01:28:37.000 They have 180 million plans, 180 million people, families, under what he wants to do, which will basically be socialized medicine.
01:28:47.000 He won't even have a choice.
01:28:49.000 They want to terminate 180 million plans.
01:28:51.000 We have done an incredible job on healthcare, and we're going to do even better.
01:28:55.000 This is where Biden has an advantage of never having actually held a resistant position.
01:28:58.000 Okay, Vice President Biden, yes, this is for you.
01:28:59.000 Your healthcare plan calls for building on Obamacare.
01:29:02.000 So my question is, what is your plan if the law is ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court?
01:29:07.000 You have two minutes on the record.
01:29:11.000 How about you ask him about deductibles going up an average of 200-something percent over two years' time?
01:29:15.000 How about you ask him about premiums going up 400-something percent?
01:29:18.000 If you, in fact, do not have the wherewithal to be, if you qualify for Medicaid and you do not have the wherewithal in your state to get Medicaid, you automatically are enrolled, providing competition for insurance companies.
01:29:31.000 That's what's going to happen.
01:29:32.000 Secondly, we're going to make sure we reduce the three dollars and reduce drug prices by making sure that there's competition that doesn't exist now by allowing ...of Medicare to negotiate drug prices with the insurance companies.
01:29:47.000 Thirdly, the idea that I want to eliminate private insurance.
01:29:50.000 The reason why I had such a fight for the 20 candidates for the nomination was I support private insurance.
01:29:55.000 nomination was I support private insurance. How about allowing people to purchase plans
01:30:00.000 based on their health? Not one single person with private insurance could lose their insurance
01:30:04.000 under my plan, nor did they under Obamacare. They did not lose their insurance. Unless
01:30:10.000 they chose, they wanted to go to something else.
01:30:13.000 Lastly, we're going to make sure we're in a situation that we can actually protect lives.
01:30:16.000 That's right, because I thought if they liked their doctor, they could keep their doctor, and it turns out that they couldn't.
01:30:19.000 Do we have the number?
01:30:20.000 Is it two out of three, or one in three doctors will not take Medicare or Medicaid anymore?
01:30:24.000 It's a huge number.
01:30:27.000 There is no, he's never come up with a plan.
01:30:29.000 I guess we're going to get the pre-existing condition plan at the same time we get the infrastructure plan that we've been waiting for since 17, 18, 19, 20.
01:30:37.000 The fact, I still have a few more minutes.
01:30:39.000 I know you're getting anxious.
01:30:40.000 1920, the year you were born.
01:30:41.000 The fact is that he's already cost the American people because of his terrible handling of the COVID virus and the economic spillover.
01:30:49.000 10 million people have lost their private insurance.
01:30:52.000 And he wants to take away 22 million more people who have it under Obamacare and over 110 million people with pre-existing conditions.
01:31:01.000 And all the people from COVID are going to have pre-existing conditions.
01:31:04.000 What are they going to do?
01:31:05.000 I have a follow up for you, Vice President Biden.
01:31:07.000 It relates to something President Trump said.
01:31:09.000 He's accusing you of wanting socialized medicine.
01:31:12.000 What do you say to people who have concerns that your health care plan, which includes a government insurance option, takes the country one step closer to a health care system run entirely by the government?
01:31:22.000 It's ridiculous.
01:31:23.000 It's like saying that, you know, we're the idea that the fact that there's a public option that people can choose.
01:31:31.000 That makes it a socialist plan?
01:31:32.000 Here's what happens.
01:31:33.000 It's just like those laws.
01:31:36.000 It's anti-trust laws, anti-monopoly laws.
01:31:38.000 Let's say there are four gas stations on a corner.
01:31:40.000 You don't need to hear Joe Biden right now.
01:31:41.000 Let's say there are four gas stations.
01:31:43.000 One company owns three, right?
01:31:45.000 Owns three gas stations, drives the price down even though they're losing money so that that fourth gas station goes out of business and they drive the prices back up.
01:31:53.000 That's what the public option is.
01:31:54.000 The public option doesn't have to be efficient.
01:31:56.000 Doesn't matter if there's red tape.
01:31:57.000 Insurance companies try to compete and then someone like Joe Biden says, Throw a couple more trillion dollars at it, all of a sudden private insurance goes out of business, there's no competition, there's no accountability, and then you end up with a 52% income tax rate like you have in my home province of Quebec.
01:32:11.000 Or the income tax rate in a state like California or New York of I think 62%, which is why 50 Cent endorsed Donald Trump.
01:32:17.000 Public option is socialized healthcare.
01:32:19.000 Don't buy the bullshit.
01:32:20.000 for eight years and it's not like it was 25 years ago. It was three and three
01:32:25.000 quarters. It was just a little while ago, right? Less than four years ago. He didn't
01:32:30.000 do anything. He didn't do it. He wants socialized medicine and it's not that he
01:32:34.000 wants it. His vice president, I mean, she is more liberal than Bernie Sanders and
01:32:40.000 wants it even more.
01:32:41.000 Bernie Sanders wants it.
01:32:42.000 The Democrats want it.
01:32:43.000 You're going to have socialized medicine, just like you want it with fracking.
01:32:47.000 We're not going to have fracking.
01:32:48.000 We're going to stop fracking.
01:32:49.000 We're going to stop fracking.
01:32:50.000 Then he goes to Pennsylvania after he gets a nomination.
01:32:54.000 And he goes to Pennsylvania and he says, oh, we're going to have fracking.
01:32:59.000 And you never asked that question.
01:33:00.000 And by the way, so far, I respect very much the way you're handling this, I have to say.
01:33:04.000 But somebody should ask the question.
01:33:06.000 He goes for a year.
01:33:07.000 We have a number of topics.
01:33:09.000 I think they're not supposed to be cut.
01:33:10.000 The same thing with socializing.
01:33:11.000 I think they're not supposed to be cut while they're past the two minute time.
01:33:15.000 It's the same thing with socializing.
01:33:16.000 But they did cut Trump at least once.
01:33:17.000 Vice President, your response please.
01:33:18.000 My response is people deserve to have affordable health care.
01:33:21.000 Period.
01:33:22.000 Period, period, period.
01:33:24.000 And the Bidencare proposal will in fact provide for that affordable healthcare, lower premiums, and what we're going to do is going to cost some money.
01:33:30.000 But why did you not do it when you were an office show?
01:33:33.000 Premiums went up, deductibles went up, record numbers, pharmaceuticals went up.
01:33:39.000 There's one guy on this stage right now, one guy, who's the first president in the history of modern America to bring down the average cost of drug prices.
01:33:47.000 It's the guy with the orange face!
01:33:51.000 When he says public option, he's talking about socialized medicine and health care.
01:33:58.000 When he talks about a public option, he's talking about destroying your Medicare, and destroying your Social Security, and this whole country will come down.
01:34:07.000 You know, Bernie Sanders tried it in his state.
01:34:10.000 He tried it in his state.
01:34:11.000 His governor was a very liberal governor.
01:34:13.000 They want to make it work.
01:34:15.000 It was impossible to work.
01:34:17.000 It doesn't work.
01:34:18.000 He's a very confused guy.
01:34:19.000 He thinks he's running against somebody else.
01:34:21.000 He's running against Joe Biden.
01:34:24.000 I beat all those other people because I disagreed with them.
01:34:27.000 Joe Biden he's running against.
01:34:29.000 And the idea that we're in a situation that they're going to destroy Medicare.
01:34:33.000 This is the guy that the actuary at Medicare said, if in fact, at Social Security, If in fact he continues to withhold his plan to withhold the tax on Social Security, Social Security will be bankrupt by 2023 with no way to make up for it.
01:34:51.000 This is the guy who's tried to cut Medicare.
01:34:54.000 You raided the Social Security fund, asshole, to fund companies like Solyndra!
01:35:00.000 You raided a social security fund!
01:35:01.000 There's no money in there!
01:35:03.000 It's a shell game!
01:35:04.000 Just like a shell game with Hunter Biden as the shell corporation.
01:35:08.000 Pick one.
01:35:08.000 It's always Hunter.
01:35:10.000 It's always Hunter.
01:35:10.000 Let's move on.
01:35:11.000 I'm going to move on.
01:35:12.000 Mr. President, I have to move on to the next question.
01:35:15.000 They said the stock market will boom if I'm elected.
01:35:19.000 If he's elected, the stock market will crash.
01:35:21.000 Okay, let's move on to the next question.
01:35:24.000 Very quickly.
01:35:26.000 The idea that the stock market is booming is his only measure of what's happening.
01:35:30.000 Where I come from in Scranton and Claremont, the people don't live off of the stock market.
01:35:34.000 The people in Scranton hate you and everyone on Wall Street gives you money.
01:35:40.000 The billionaires in this country made, according to Wall Street, $700 billion more.
01:35:47.000 $700 billion more dollars.
01:35:48.000 Because the economy is better!
01:35:49.000 The average American makes $5,000 more per year!
01:35:53.000 The average American family!
01:35:55.000 Under you, the average American family, Joe, didn't even outpace inflation!
01:36:01.000 He didn't make an old circus monkey?
01:36:04.000 He lived there for a short period of time before he even knew her.
01:36:10.000 Let me move on to my next question, gentlemen.
01:36:12.000 As of tonight, more than 12 million people are out of work, and as of tonight, 8 million more Americans have fallen into poverty, and more families are going hungry every day.
01:36:21.000 Those hit hardest are women and people of color.
01:36:24.000 They see Washington fighting over a relief bill.
01:36:27.000 Mr. President, why haven't you been able to get them the help they need?
01:36:31.000 30 seconds here.
01:36:31.000 Because Nancy Pelosi doesn't want to approve it.
01:36:34.000 I do.
01:36:34.000 But you're the president.
01:36:36.000 I do, but I still have to get, unfortunately.
01:36:38.000 That's one of the reasons I think we're going to take over the House.
01:36:39.000 He's a president who doesn't do it all by mandate.
01:36:41.000 Nancy Pelosi doesn't want to approve anything.
01:37:04.000 Nancy Pelosi All right, Mr. Vice President.
01:37:06.000 The Republican leader in the United States Senate said he can't pass it.
01:37:10.000 He will not be able to pass it.
01:37:12.000 He does not have Republican votes.
01:37:14.000 Why ain't he talking to his Republican friends?
01:37:16.000 Let me follow up with you, Vice President.
01:37:18.000 Did Pelosi say you take the $1.8 trillion, Biden?
01:37:21.000 You are the leader of the Democratic Party.
01:37:22.000 It's not because of Republicans.
01:37:23.000 Why have you not pushed the Democrats to get a deal for the American people?
01:37:27.000 Oh, I have, and they have pushed it.
01:37:28.000 Look, they passed this act all the way back in the beginning of the summer.
01:37:32.000 This is like it's not new.
01:37:34.000 It's been out there.
01:37:35.000 This HEROES Act has been sitting there.
01:37:38.000 And look at what's happening.
01:37:39.000 When I was in charge of the Recovery Act with $800 billion, I was able to get $145 billion to local communities that have to balance their budgets and stakes.
01:37:49.000 And what about taxpayer dollars?
01:37:50.000 What happened to that when he was talking about it earlier?
01:37:52.000 Whereas Donald Trump was discussing something that was directly funded by taxes on China?
01:37:56.000 I got $800 billion!
01:37:56.000 Whose dollars?
01:38:00.000 He will not support that.
01:38:02.000 They have not done a thing for that.
01:38:04.000 1.8 trillion your party said no.
01:38:06.000 1.8 trillion your party said no.
01:38:08.000 1.8 trillion Democrats said no.
01:38:10.000 How many trillion Democrats have said no?
01:38:20.000 It was a way of getting a lot of money, billions and billions of dollars to these kids.
01:38:24.000 It was also a way of getting a lot of money from our people's pockets to people that come into our country illegally.
01:38:32.000 We were gonna take care of everything for them.
01:38:34.000 And what that does, and I'd love to do that, I'd love to help them.
01:38:37.000 But what that does, everybody all over the world will start pouring into our country.
01:38:41.000 We can't do it.
01:38:42.000 This was a way of taking care of them.
01:38:44.000 This was a way of spending on things that had nothing to do with COVID, as per your question.
01:38:48.000 But it was really a big bailout for badly run Democrat cities and states.
01:38:53.000 If I get elected, I'm running as a proud Democrat, but I'm going to be an American president.
01:38:58.000 I don't see red states and blue states.
01:39:01.000 What I see is America, the United States.
01:39:03.000 And folks, every single state out there finds themselves in trouble.
01:39:08.000 They're going to start laying off, whether they're red or blue, cops, firefighters, first responders, teachers, because they have to balance their budget.
01:39:16.000 And the founders were smart.
01:39:18.000 I'm sorry.
01:39:19.000 Police officers, military, firefighters.
01:39:19.000 I'm sorry.
01:39:23.000 Teachers, shut the hell up!
01:39:25.000 I'm so sorry.
01:39:26.000 Teachers are going into a burning building.
01:39:30.000 Like, teachers have a villain that you would see in Backdraft.
01:39:33.000 For crying out loud, you might have a kid who eats paste.
01:39:36.000 I'm sorry, teachers, thank you for what you do.
01:39:38.000 But you are not first responders.
01:39:40.000 You are not the firefighters.
01:39:43.000 In 9-11, the important people were NYPD, FDNY, and the military.
01:39:49.000 It's not you, teachers.
01:39:49.000 I'm sorry.
01:39:50.000 I'm tired of deifying teachers.
01:39:52.000 It allows us to be able to call PPP.
01:39:54.000 I wish I could work nine months a year.
01:39:55.000 Money is supposed to go to help them do everything from organize how they can deal with their businesses being opened safely, schools, how they can make classrooms smaller, how they can hire more teachers, how they can put ventilation systems in.
01:40:08.000 They need the help.
01:40:10.000 The businesses as well as the schools need the help.
01:40:13.000 Open up, Joe.
01:40:14.000 But these guys will not help them.
01:40:16.000 It's not giving them any of the money.
01:40:19.000 This guy won't help with the money and the help.
01:40:24.000 Minimum wage, that's not helping.
01:40:26.000 I think it should be a state option.
01:40:28.000 Alabama is different than New York.
01:40:30.000 New York is different from Vermont.
01:40:33.000 Every state is different.
01:40:34.000 It should be a state option.
01:40:35.000 You said very recently... We have to help, it's very important, we have to help our small businesses.
01:40:39.000 How are you helping your small businesses when you're forcing wages?
01:40:42.000 What's going to happen, and what's been proven to happen, is when you do that, these small businesses fire many of their employees.
01:40:49.000 You said very recently you would consider raising the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour.
01:40:53.000 You said recently you would consider raising the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour.
01:40:57.000 And I would consider it to an extent, but what I really like, in a second administration,
01:41:03.000 but not to a level that's going to put all these businesses out of business.
01:41:07.000 It should be a state option.
01:41:08.000 Look, I've lived in different places.
01:41:10.000 I know different places.
01:41:11.000 They're all different.
01:41:12.000 Here's the thing.
01:41:13.000 You can choose.
01:41:14.000 Some places, $15 is not so bad.
01:41:15.000 The average American family has increased their wages by over $5,000 in four years of
01:41:21.000 You can pick that or $15 an hour and put the average American family out of business or into a single income household.
01:41:27.000 Filet-O-Fish, $17 an hour?
01:41:27.000 That's your choice.
01:41:31.000 Go screw yourself.
01:41:31.000 ...down the street because they've allowed us to make it.
01:41:34.000 What's happening?
01:41:35.000 They deserve a minimum wage of $15.
01:41:37.000 Anything below that puts you below the poverty level.
01:41:40.000 First responders get more than $15.
01:41:42.000 And there is no evidence that when you raise the minimum wage, businesses go out of business.
01:41:47.000 That is simply not true.
01:41:47.000 Did he just say first responders don't make $15 an hour?
01:41:49.000 He said $7, $8 an hour.
01:41:50.000 They make us survive.
01:41:50.000 We're going to talk about immigration now, gentlemen.
01:41:52.000 And we're going to talk about families in this context.
01:41:55.000 Mr. President, your administration separated children from their parents at the border.
01:41:59.000 Point it out, Trump.
01:42:00.000 He did it.
01:42:01.000 He hears your questions.
01:42:02.000 He did it.
01:42:03.000 Shh.
01:42:04.000 But the United States can't locate the parents of more than 500 children.
01:42:08.000 So how will these families ever be reunited?
01:42:11.000 Children are brought here by coyotes and lots of bad people, cartels, and they're brought
01:42:18.000 here and they used to use them to get into our country.
01:42:21.000 We now have as strong a border as we've ever had.
01:42:25.000 400 miles of brand new wall.
01:42:27.000 You see the numbers, and we let people in, but they have to come in legally, and they come in through mail.
01:42:31.000 But how will you reunite these kids with their families, Mr. President?
01:42:34.000 Let me just tell you, they built cages.
01:42:35.000 You know, they used to say, I built the cages, and then they had a picture in a certain Do you have a plan to reunite the kids?
01:42:42.000 of these horrible cages and they said look at these cages, President Trump built them
01:42:47.000 and then it was determined they were built in 2014.
01:42:50.000 That was him.
01:42:51.000 Do you have a plan to reunite the kids?
01:42:53.000 Yes we're working on it very, we're trying very hard.
01:42:56.000 But a lot of these kids come out without the parents.
01:42:58.000 They come over through cartels and through coyotes and through gangs.
01:43:01.000 I believe it was 93 under Bill Clinton.
01:43:03.000 Know your shit, Kristen Wilker.
01:43:05.000 These 500 plus kids came with parents.
01:43:10.000 They separated them at the border to make it a disincentive to come to begin with.
01:43:15.000 No, because the Flores consent policy deemed it cruel and unusual treatment of children to imprison them the way they would with parents.
01:43:24.000 That is why.
01:43:25.000 People need to understand this.
01:43:27.000 Kristen Welker either knows this and is lying, or she is an idiot unfit to moderate this debate.
01:43:33.000 You need someone who's sharp enough to call someone on their bullshit, and that's all Biden is.
01:43:38.000 He's a walking pile of corn-infested bullshit!
01:43:42.000 With googly eyes!
01:43:43.000 Let's talk about what we're talking about.
01:43:45.000 What happened?
01:43:46.000 Parents were ripped, their kids were ripped from their arms and separated.
01:43:50.000 No!
01:43:51.000 And now they cannot find over 500 sets of those parents and those kids are alone.
01:43:55.000 Nowhere to go.
01:43:55.000 Nowhere to go.
01:43:55.000 And those kids are alone.
01:43:58.000 Nowhere to go.
01:43:59.000 Nowhere to go.
01:44:00.000 It's criminal.
01:44:02.000 It's criminal.
01:44:03.000 Let me ask you about immigration.
01:44:04.000 Ten seconds and then I need to go to Mexico.
01:44:07.000 I hear it's a big place, Honduras, where they came from.
01:44:10.000 They're in facilities that were so clean.
01:44:12.000 But some of them haven't been reunited with their families.
01:44:14.000 But just ask one question.
01:44:15.000 Who built the cages?
01:44:17.000 I'd love you to ask him that.
01:44:18.000 Who built the cages?
01:44:19.000 Let me ask about your immigration policy, Mr. Vice President Obama.
01:44:22.000 Oh, laser into the question, Christopher!
01:44:24.000 You've asked a leading false question.
01:44:25.000 Who built the cages?
01:44:30.000 Because we made a mistake.
01:44:31.000 It took too long to get it right.
01:44:32.000 It took too long to get it right.
01:44:33.000 So why should voters trust you with an immigration overhaul now?
01:44:36.000 Because we made a mistake. It took too long to get it right.
01:44:40.000 Immigration not on the list of topics.
01:44:42.000 I'll be President of the United States, not Vice President of the United States.
01:44:45.000 I'm so confused.
01:44:46.000 Holy shit!
01:44:47.000 it very clear. Within 100 days I'm going to send to the United States Congress a pathway
01:44:52.000 to citizenship for over 11 million undocumented people.
01:44:56.000 Holy shit! Everyone should repeat that on a loop like a morphine drip. He's going to
01:45:03.000 give a path to citizenship right away to 11 million undocumented immigrants, meaning illegal
01:45:08.000 aliens.
01:45:09.000 Someone should put that on a loop like a morphine drip and just put that on the Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania airwaves.
01:45:17.000 Send it to the Steelworkers Union.
01:45:19.000 Senator UAW, he just said that 11 million people who will take four, five, six, seven dollars an hour, people who have no interest in the American economy, in the average American worker, that he will give them a pathway to citizenship and to vote.
01:45:35.000 If that makes it on the airwaves in the Midwest, in that rust belt, The key demographic right now, he loses the election.
01:45:43.000 I bet you they won't talk about it.
01:45:45.000 He is immediately going to give a pathway to 11 million.
01:45:48.000 If that happens, there goes the United States of America.
01:45:51.000 Because we already calculated over 2 million compromised, potentially compromised votes in this election.
01:45:55.000 Now let's add 11 million people who are indebted to Biden because he used taxpayer dollars to give them free citizenship to the most valuable country that has ever granted citizenship in the history of the United States.
01:46:07.000 Came across and they were arrested.
01:46:10.000 They in fact were given a date to show up for their hearing.
01:46:13.000 They were released.
01:46:14.000 And guess what?
01:46:15.000 They showed up for a hearing.
01:46:17.000 This is the first president in the history of the United States- What about the ones who were released and raped people?
01:46:22.000 You piece of shit.
01:46:23.000 Yeah.
01:46:23.000 Or murdered them.
01:46:24.000 That's never happened before in America.
01:46:26.000 That's never happened before in America.
01:46:28.000 You come to the United States and you make your case that I seek asylum based on the following premise, why I deserve it.
01:46:35.000 What premise?
01:46:37.000 What premise?
01:46:38.000 They have to be fleeing a persecuting government.
01:46:43.000 Not just, my country sucks.
01:46:45.000 We get it!
01:46:46.000 All of South America sucks!
01:46:48.000 That's not enough of a reason!
01:46:50.000 The reason that Ronald Reagan, the reason that Americans Have a heart for Cuban Americans.
01:46:54.000 By the way, overwhelmingly Republican when they come here and they kiss the soil.
01:46:58.000 They vote overwhelmingly Republican because they are fleeing a government who will kill them if they speak out against the government or they play the saxophone!
01:47:07.000 They are fleeing a government that is persecuting them while, by the way, your administration took a picture in front of the persecutor Che Guevara, the only warlord, by the way, to be found, I think, in Bolivia with a rifle that had never been fired.
01:47:19.000 Cuban Americans want to be American and they're fleeing a persecuting government.
01:47:23.000 That's not the same with people fleeing a shitty country!
01:47:27.000 Okay, President Trump, let's give Vice President Biden a chance to respond and then we're going to move on to the next section.
01:47:33.000 You don't know the law, do you?
01:47:34.000 Vice President Biden, your response.
01:47:36.000 Know the law or he's telling you it's simply not true.
01:47:39.000 Well, check it out.
01:47:39.000 They don't come back.
01:47:40.000 Check it out.
01:47:41.000 All right, let's move on to the next section.
01:47:42.000 But we don't have to worry about it because they terminated it, so we don't have to worry about it anymore.
01:47:45.000 Let's move on to the next section.
01:47:47.000 Yeah, 525 kids not knowing where in God's name they're going to be and lost their parents.
01:47:50.000 Go ahead.
01:47:50.000 All right.
01:47:51.000 Let's talk about our next section, which is race in America.
01:47:55.000 And I want to talk about the way black and brown Americans experience race in this country.
01:48:00.000 Part of that experience is something called the talk.
01:48:04.000 It happens regardless of class and income.
01:48:07.000 Parents who feel they have no choice but to prepare their children for the chance that they could be targeted, including by the police, for no reason other than the color of their skin.
01:48:18.000 Mr. Vice President, in the next two minutes, I want you to speak directly to these families.
01:48:23.000 Do you understand why these parents care for their children?
01:48:26.000 I do.
01:48:26.000 I do.
01:48:29.000 My daughter is a social worker and she's written a lot about this.
01:48:34.000 She has a graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in social work.
01:48:41.000 One of the reasons why I ended up working on the east side of Wilmington, Delaware, which is 90% African American, was to learn more about what was going on.
01:48:49.000 What I didn't, I never had to tell my daughter, if she's pulled over, make sure she puts, for a traffic stop, put both hands on top of the wheel and don't reach for the glove box because someone may shoot you.
01:49:02.000 But a black parent, no matter how wealthy or how poor they are, has to teach their child
01:49:07.000 when you're walking down the street, don't have a hoodie on when you go across the street.
01:49:11.000 Making sure that you in fact, if you get pulled over, yes, yes sir, no sir, hands on top of
01:49:17.000 the wheel.
01:49:18.000 Because you are in fact the victim of a person making $300,000 a year person or someone who's
01:49:26.000 on food stamps.
01:49:28.000 Holy shit Did he just say all blacks are on food stamps?
01:49:32.000 Did I just hear that?
01:49:33.000 Did I just hear that?
01:49:34.000 That is what he said.
01:49:34.000 Did you guys hear that?
01:49:35.000 That's audio wave.
01:49:36.000 I think that's true.
01:49:37.000 Did you guys hear that?
01:49:38.000 Yeah.
01:49:39.000 That is what he said.
01:49:40.000 What a racist son of a bitch.
01:49:41.000 Wow.
01:49:43.000 You ain't black.
01:49:44.000 You ain't black.
01:49:44.000 There.
01:49:44.000 The end of keeping blacks on food stamps?
01:49:46.000 Yeah.
01:49:46.000 You know what?
01:49:46.000 to inclusion, not exclusion.
01:49:49.000 This is the first president to come along and say that's the end of that.
01:49:52.000 We're not going to do that anymore.
01:49:54.000 We have to provide for economic opportunity, better education, better health care, better
01:49:59.000 access to schooling, better access to opportunities.
01:50:03.000 because that's why he has a record number of votes.
01:50:05.000 All the things we can do, and I've laid out a clear plan as to how to do those things,
01:50:11.000 just to give people a shot.
01:50:12.000 It's about accumulating the ability to have wealth as well as it is to be free from violence.
01:50:19.000 President Trump, I'd like you to speak directly to these families so you understand why these parents fear for their children.
01:50:28.000 Yes, I do.
01:50:29.000 And again, he's been in government 47 years.
01:50:32.000 He never did a thing, except in 1994, when he did such harm to the black community.
01:50:39.000 And they were called, and he called them super predators.
01:50:43.000 And he said that, he said it, super predators, and they have never looked at that.
01:50:48.000 In 1994, your crime bill, the super predators, nobody has done more for the black community
01:50:55.000 than Donald Trump.
01:50:57.000 And if you look, with the exception of Abraham Lincoln, possible exception, but the exception
01:51:02.000 of Abraham Lincoln, nobody has done what I think.
01:51:06.000 Criminal justice reform.
01:51:08.000 Obama and Joe didn't do it.
01:51:12.000 I don't even think they tried because they had no chance of doing it.
01:51:15.000 They might have wanted to do it.
01:51:17.000 But if you had to see the arms, I had a twist to get that done.
01:51:20.000 It was not a pretty picture.
01:51:22.000 And everybody knows it, including some very liberal people that cried in my office.
01:51:26.000 They cried in the Oval Office.
01:51:28.000 Two weeks later, they're out saying, gee, we have to defeat him.
01:51:31.000 Criminal justice reform, prison reform, Opportunity Zones with Tim Scott, a great senator from South Carolina.
01:51:39.000 He came in with this incredible idea for Opportunity Zones.
01:51:42.000 It's one of the most successful programs.
01:51:45.000 People don't talk about it.
01:51:46.000 Tremendous investment is being made, biggest beneficiary, the black and Hispanic communities, and then historically black colleges and universities.
01:51:56.000 After three years of coming to the office, I love some of those guys, they were great.
01:52:00.000 They came into the office and they said, I said, what are you doing?
01:52:03.000 After three years, I said, why do you keep coming back?
01:52:06.000 Because we have no funding.
01:52:07.000 I said, you don't have to come back every year.
01:52:09.000 We have to come back because President Obama would never give them long term funding.
01:52:14.000 And I did 10 year long term funding.
01:52:17.000 And I gave them more money than they asked for because they said, I think you need more.
01:52:21.000 And I said, the only bad part about this is I may never see you again, because I got very friendly with them.
01:52:27.000 And they like me and I like them.
01:52:28.000 But I saved it.
01:52:31.000 That was a very inspiring answer.
01:52:35.000 And again, notice the difference.
01:52:36.000 Joe Biden, based on falsehoods, you get shot in this and blacks need to be on welfare and violence.
01:52:41.000 And Donald Trump says, here's what I've done and this is my vision for black Americans.
01:52:46.000 And by the way, his vision for black Americans is exactly the same as how he described the vision for all working middle class Americans.
01:52:54.000 Joe Biden just said you're gonna get shot, no one cares about you, and you need to vote for me and food stamps.
01:52:59.000 There's no positivity.
01:53:00.000 There's no vision.
01:53:02.000 This is very clear tonight.
01:53:04.000 Donald Trump loves America and believes in America.
01:53:07.000 Joe Biden... America is a useful tool for his election campaign.
01:53:11.000 He doesn't get what it's about.
01:53:13.000 He certainly doesn't get what black Americans are about.
01:53:28.000 The very law he's talking about is a law that, in fact, initiated by Barack Obama.
01:53:34.000 And secondly, we're in a situation here where... What about your law?
01:53:38.000 What about Kamala's laws that put more non-violent drug offenders behind bars than any in modern American history?
01:53:45.000 What about those laws?
01:53:46.000 No minimum mandatories in the law.
01:53:49.000 That's why I'm offering 20 billion dollars to states to change their state laws to eliminate minimum mandatories and set up drug courts.
01:53:57.000 No one should be going to jail because they have a drug problem.
01:54:00.000 They should be going to rehabilitation, not to jail.
01:54:03.000 We should fundamentally change the system and that's what I'm going to do.
01:54:06.000 But why didn't he do it four years ago?
01:54:09.000 Why didn't you do that four years ago, even less than that?
01:54:12.000 Why didn't you?
01:54:13.000 You were vice president.
01:54:14.000 You keep talking about all these things you're going to do.
01:54:18.000 But you were there just a short time ago.
01:54:20.000 And you guys did nothing.
01:54:22.000 You know, Joe, I ran because of you.
01:54:24.000 I ran because of Barack Obama.
01:54:26.000 Because you did a poor job.
01:54:28.000 If I thought you did a good job, I would have never run.
01:54:30.000 I would have never run.
01:54:32.000 I ran because of you.
01:54:33.000 I'm looking at you now.
01:54:34.000 You're a politician.
01:54:36.000 I ran because of you.
01:54:37.000 All right, Vice President Biden, your response to that?
01:54:39.000 And then I do have some questions for both of you.
01:54:41.000 Well, I tell you what, I hope he doesn't look at me because what's happening here is you know who I am.
01:54:47.000 You know who he is.
01:54:49.000 You know his character.
01:54:50.000 You know my character.
01:54:51.000 You know our reputations for honor and telling the truth.
01:54:55.000 I am anxious to have this race.
01:54:57.000 I am anxious to see this take place.
01:54:59.000 The character of the country is on the ballot.
01:55:03.000 Our character is on the ballot.
01:55:04.000 Look at us closely.
01:55:05.000 Let me ask some follow-up questions.
01:55:06.000 Excuse me.
01:55:07.000 Oh my gosh.
01:55:08.000 I'm a character.
01:55:09.000 China, other countries, Iraq.
01:55:10.000 People say it.
01:55:11.000 I'm a character.
01:55:12.000 People say it.
01:55:13.000 This is true.
01:55:14.000 He's a character.
01:55:14.000 Vote for the character.
01:55:16.000 So don't give me the stuff about how you're this innocent baby.
01:55:19.000 Joe, they're calling you a corrupt politician.
01:55:22.000 Hey, President Trump, I want to stay on the issue of race.
01:55:25.000 Some people are calling you that.
01:55:27.000 Yeah, you know what?
01:55:28.000 I'm not calling you that.
01:55:29.000 No, you are.
01:55:30.000 But what about?
01:55:31.000 I'm calling.
01:55:32.000 Yeah, you know what?
01:55:33.000 Everyone in this room.
01:55:34.000 Fact check.
01:55:35.000 False.
01:55:36.000 Everyone in this room calls you a corrupt politician.
01:55:37.000 Not everyone who serves in office is a corrupt politician.
01:55:40.000 Only those who serve 48 years and have never held private gainful employment are corrupt politicians.
01:55:46.000 Go screw yourself, Joe.
01:55:47.000 Former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he's saying is a bunch of garbage.
01:55:53.000 Nobody believes it except his and his good friend, Rudy Giuliani.
01:55:57.000 You mean the laptop is still another Russia, Russia, Russia hoax?
01:56:02.000 That's exactly what, this is where he's going.
01:56:05.000 The laptop is Russia, Russia, Russia?
01:56:07.000 Gentlemen, I want to stay on the issue of race.
01:56:09.000 You have to be kidding.
01:56:10.000 Here we go again with Russia.
01:56:12.000 We're going to continue on the issue of race.
01:56:14.000 Mr. President, you've described the Black Lives Matter.
01:56:17.000 She came in in record time to rescue Joe Biden because she realized he might talk himself into a legal corner.
01:56:23.000 I have never seen that before.
01:56:25.000 She realized he was about to talk himself into a legal corner because he's retarded.
01:56:28.000 And so she decided she was going to step in and save him.
01:56:32.000 She shot the noose, like the good, the bad and the ugly.
01:56:35.000 She shot it off for him.
01:56:36.000 The first time I ever heard of Black Lives Matter, They were chanting, pigs in a blanket, talking about police.
01:56:43.000 Pigs, pigs, talking about our police.
01:56:45.000 Pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon.
01:56:48.000 I said, that's a horrible thing.
01:56:49.000 And they were marching down the street.
01:56:51.000 And that was my first glimpse of Black Lives Matter.
01:56:55.000 I thought it was a terrible thing.
01:56:57.000 As far as my relationships with all people, I think I have great relationships with all people.
01:57:04.000 I am the least racist person in this room.
01:57:08.000 Well, what do you say to Americans who are offended by that rhetoric?
01:57:11.000 I don't know what to say.
01:57:12.000 I got criminal justice reform done and prison reform.
01:57:16.000 I took care of black colleges and universities.
01:57:20.000 I don't know what to say.
01:57:21.000 They can say anything.
01:57:23.000 I mean, they can say anything.
01:57:25.000 It's a very, it makes me sad because I am, I am the least Racist person?
01:57:31.000 I can't even see the audience because it's so dark, but I don't care who's in the audience.
01:57:36.000 I'm the least racist person in this room.
01:57:39.000 Okay, Vice President Biden, let me ask you very quickly, and then I have a follow-up question for you.
01:57:43.000 Abraham Lincoln here is one of the most racist presidents we've had in modern history.
01:57:47.000 Wow.
01:57:47.000 He pours fuel on every single racist fire.
01:57:52.000 Every single one.
01:57:53.000 He started off his campaign coming down the escalator saying he's going to get rid of those Mexican rapists.
01:58:00.000 Calling someone a racist with no proof.
01:58:03.000 You're the one who said racial jungle.
01:58:05.000 You're the one who had a crime bill.
01:58:07.000 You're the one who supported segregationists.
01:58:09.000 You're the one who was only one hopscotch seat away from Robert Byrd who was recruiting for the Klan.
01:58:14.000 You're the one, and I don't even think you're racist, Joe.
01:58:16.000 But if I had to have a scale, you would weigh more than the duck.
01:58:22.000 That's bad.
01:58:23.000 You said you're Abraham Lincoln.
01:58:25.000 No, no.
01:58:26.000 I said not since Abraham Lincoln has anybody done what I've done for the black community.
01:58:32.000 I didn't say I'm Abraham Lincoln.
01:58:35.000 I said not since Abraham Lincoln has anybody done what I've done for the black community.
01:58:40.000 See, when Joe gets caught, he laughs.
01:58:41.000 Now, you have done nothing other than the crime bill which put Oh God.
01:58:46.000 Tens of thousands of black men mostly in jail.
01:58:52.000 All right, let me let me let me remember it because if you look at what's happening with
01:58:55.000 the voting right now, you know, we have a lot of them about very, very badly.
01:59:00.000 Just take a look at what's happening out there.
01:59:02.000 Vice President Biden, let me give you a chance to respond within this context.
01:59:05.000 Crime bills that you supported in the 80s and 90s contributed to the incarceration of tens of thousands of young black men who had small amounts of drugs in their possession.
01:59:14.000 They are sons, they are brothers, they're fathers, they're uncles, whose families are still to this day, some of them suffering the consequences.
01:59:21.000 So speak to those families.
01:59:23.000 Why should they vote for you?
01:59:24.000 One of the things is that in the 80s we passed 100%, all 100 senators voted for it, a bill on drugs and how to deal with drugs.
01:59:34.000 It was a mistake.
01:59:36.000 I've been trying to change the Senate, particularly the portion on cocaine.
01:59:39.000 Hunter Biden wasn't in on the vote, but if he'd write in, yes please.
01:59:42.000 That was an order.
01:59:44.000 to jail for a pure drug offense. They should be going into treatment across the board.
01:59:51.000 That's what we should be spending money. That's why I set up drug courts, which were never
01:59:54.000 funded by Republican friends. They should not be going to jail for a drug or an alcohol
02:00:01.000 problem. They should be going into treatment.
02:00:05.000 That's what we've been trying to do.
02:00:07.000 That's what I'm going to get done.
02:00:08.000 Because I think the American people have now seen that, in fact, it was a mistake to pass those laws relating to the drug.
02:00:15.000 But they were not in the crime bill.
02:00:17.000 But why didn't he get it done?
02:00:19.000 See, it's all talk, no action with these politicians.
02:00:22.000 Why didn't he get it done?
02:00:23.000 That's what I'm going to do when I become president.
02:00:26.000 He mentioned the 80s, but in 1994, Biden drafted the crime bill that put more black men in prison than any bill I can think of.
02:00:31.000 Why didn't you get it done?
02:00:33.000 You had eight years to get it done.
02:00:34.000 Now you're saying you're gonna get it done because you're all talking no action, Jim.
02:00:38.000 We got a lot of it done.
02:00:39.000 We released 38,000.
02:00:41.000 We got 38,000 prisoners left.
02:00:43.000 You got nothing done.
02:00:44.000 38,000 prisoners were released from federal prison.
02:00:48.000 There were over a thousand people who were given clemency.
02:00:51.000 In fact, we're the ones who put in the legislation saying we could look at pattern and practice of police departments and what they were doing, how they were conducting themselves.
02:01:00.000 I could go on, but we began the process.
02:01:03.000 We began the process.
02:01:04.000 We lost an election.
02:01:06.000 That's why I'm running to win back that election and change his terrible policy.
02:01:10.000 I just ask one question.
02:01:13.000 Why didn't you do it in the eight years, a short time ago?
02:01:17.000 Why didn't you do it?
02:01:18.000 You just said, I'm going to do that.
02:01:20.000 I'm going to do this.
02:01:21.000 You put tens of thousands of mostly black young men in prison.
02:01:26.000 Now you're saying you're going to undo that.
02:01:29.000 Why didn't you get it done?
02:01:30.000 You had eight years with Obama.
02:01:32.000 Yeah.
02:01:32.000 You know why, Joe?
02:01:33.000 Because you're all talk.
02:01:34.000 No, let him answer.
02:01:35.000 All right, Vice President Biden, and then we're going to move on to the next section.
02:01:38.000 Ooh, Joe Biden didn't answer.
02:01:39.000 Republican Congress.
02:01:44.000 That hurt me.
02:01:45.000 Oh god, is it almost over?
02:01:46.000 Hold on a second.
02:01:47.000 That hurt me Like I did with criminal justice reform I had to talk
02:01:53.000 Democrats The ideas or bills had been proposed or pushed forward by
02:02:08.000 Joe Biden and you could say that the Congress said no That didn't happen
02:02:17.000 Ha ha ha ha ha!
02:02:18.000 Speaking of prison, Joe Biden just dropped, put your soap on a string Joe!
02:02:26.000 Yeah dude!
02:02:27.000 I do love the environment, but what I want is the cleanest crystal clear water, the cleanest air.
02:02:33.000 We have the best lowest number in carbon emissions, which is a big standard that I notice Obama goes with all the time.
02:02:40.000 Not Joe.
02:02:41.000 I haven't heard Joe use the term because I'm not sure he knows what it represents or means.
02:02:46.000 Look at China.
02:02:46.000 How filthy it is.
02:02:47.000 Look at Russia.
02:02:48.000 Look at India.
02:02:49.000 numbers that we've had in 35 years under this administration. We are working so
02:02:56.000 well with industry. I need a refill. It can be vino or whatever. Look at China. How filthy it is.
02:03:01.000 Look at Russia. Look at India. It's filthy. The air is filthy. The Paris
02:03:09.000 Accord, I took us out because we were gonna have to spend trillions of dollars
02:03:13.000 and we were treated very unfairly. When they put us in there, they did us a great
02:03:17.000 disservice. They were gonna take away our businesses. I will not sacrifice tens of
02:03:23.000 millions of jobs, thousands and thousands of companies because of the Paris Accord.
02:03:30.000 It was so unfair.
02:03:31.000 China doesn't kick in until 2030.
02:03:34.000 Russia goes back to a low standard and we kicked in right away.
02:03:39.000 It would have been it would have been it would have destroyed our businesses.
02:03:42.000 So you ready?
02:03:43.000 We have done an incredible job environmentally.
02:03:47.000 We have the cleanest air, the cleanest water, and the best carbon emission standards that we've seen in many, many years.
02:03:54.000 Vice President, we haven't destroyed our industries.
02:03:56.000 Vice President Biden, two minutes to you uninterrupted.
02:04:00.000 Climate change, climate warming, global warming is an existential threat to humanity.
02:04:06.000 We have a moral obligation to deal with it.
02:04:09.000 And we're told by all the leading scientists in the world, we don't have much time.
02:04:15.000 We're going to pass the point of no return within the next 8 to 10 years.
02:04:20.000 Former years of this man eliminating all the other populations Kostya Cortez said it's like 12 years, we won't have a world.
02:04:26.000 Right, right.
02:04:26.000 And then everyone said, she really believes that, she said, I was obviously joking, he just said 8 to 10 years.
02:04:31.000 He shortened the time frame for AOC!
02:04:35.000 He's fucking crazier than AOC!
02:04:39.000 We already do!
02:04:40.000 late cheese people worried about jobs to support my climate plan because what it
02:04:45.000 does it will create millions of new good-paying job I said we're gonna
02:04:50.000 invest in for example five hundred thousand fifty thousand fifty thousand
02:04:55.000 charging station a different so that we can own the electric car market of the
02:05:00.000 future the meantime China is doing a position where we're going to take four
02:05:07.000 million existing buildings. And they moved to Texas from California!
02:05:10.000 two million existing homes and retrofit them so they don't leak as much energy, saving
02:05:15.000 hundreds of millions of barrels of oil in the process and creating significant number
02:05:20.000 of jobs.
02:05:22.000 And by the way, the whole idea of what this is all going to do, it's going to create millions
02:05:26.000 of jobs and it's going to clean the environment.
02:05:29.000 Our health and our jobs are at stake.
02:05:32.000 That's what's happening.
02:05:34.000 And right now, by the way, Wall Street firms indicated that my plan will in fact create 18.6 million jobs, 7 million more than his.
02:05:45.000 This is from Wall Street.
02:05:46.000 And I'll create $1 trillion more in economic growth than his proposal does.
02:05:52.000 Not on climate, just on the economy.
02:05:54.000 President Trump came out and said very strongly $6,500 will be taken away from families under his plan.
02:06:02.000 That his plan is an economic disaster.
02:06:05.000 If you look at what he wants to do, if you look at his plan, you know who developed it?
02:06:11.000 AOC plus three.
02:06:13.000 They know nothing about the climate.
02:06:16.000 I mean, she's got a good line of stuff, but she knows nothing about the climate.
02:06:20.000 And they're all hopping through hoops for AOC Plus 3.
02:06:23.000 He's doing good!
02:06:24.000 Yeah.
02:06:24.000 Yeah.
02:06:25.000 Their real plan, of course, is $100 trillion.
02:06:27.000 Cut off those bitches' tails with a carving knife.
02:06:30.000 This is the craziest plan that anybody has ever seen.
02:06:32.000 And this wasn't done by smart people.
02:06:34.000 This wasn't done by anybody.
02:06:34.000 I wasn't suggesting that you cut off their tails.
02:06:36.000 They want to take buildings down because they want to make bigger windows into smaller windows.
02:06:41.000 As far as they're concerned, if you had no window, it would be a lovely thing.
02:06:45.000 This is the craziest plan that anybody has ever seen.
02:06:48.000 And this wasn't done by smart people.
02:06:51.000 This wasn't done by anybody.
02:06:53.000 Frankly, I don't even know how it could be good.
02:06:56.000 They want to spend $100 trillion.
02:06:59.000 That's the real number.
02:07:00.000 He's trying to say it was six.
02:07:02.000 It's a hundred trillion dollars.
02:07:03.000 They want to knock down buildings and build new buildings with little, tiny, small... Joe Biden's desire of disbelief was almost heart-rending.
02:07:10.000 Let me have the Vice President's response and we're running out of time and we have a lot more questions to get to.
02:07:15.000 So let's hear from the Vice President.
02:07:17.000 I have a number more questions.
02:07:18.000 I don't know where he comes from.
02:07:20.000 I don't know where he comes up with these numbers.
02:07:22.000 A hundred trillion dollars.
02:07:23.000 Let's go with Scranton.
02:07:24.000 Answer the question.
02:07:26.000 This plan was, this is a plan endorsed by every major, every major environmental group and every labor group.
02:07:34.000 Labor.
02:07:35.000 Because they know the future lies.
02:07:37.000 Can we fact check that?
02:07:38.000 That's not true.
02:07:40.000 Every single labor group.
02:07:42.000 And by the way, The fastest growing industry in America is the electric, excuse me, solar energy and wind.
02:07:52.000 He thinks wind causes cancer.
02:07:54.000 No, it's not!
02:07:54.000 Windmills.
02:07:55.000 It's the fastest growing jobs and they pay good prevailing wages.
02:07:59.000 Wrong!
02:08:00.000 25, 50 bucks an hour.
02:08:01.000 Wrong!
02:08:02.000 By the way, worse for the environment.
02:08:04.000 Take a look at Germany versus France.
02:08:06.000 Also when you're talking about solar, How do you mine those materials, Joe?
02:08:11.000 How do you store the energy?
02:08:12.000 We don't have the batteries to store a city's infrastructure as far as the energy infrastructure for a city.
02:08:16.000 Individuals can do it.
02:08:18.000 Everything you just said is a lie.
02:08:24.000 There you go.
02:08:25.000 Union's not endorsing the Green New Deal?
02:08:27.000 That's a lie!
02:08:27.000 Fact check!
02:08:28.000 Kristen Welker.
02:08:29.000 Both Germany and China and the fumes coming up, if you're a believer in carbon emission,
02:08:34.000 the fumes coming up to make these massive windmills is more than anything that we're
02:08:39.000 talking about with natural gas, which is very clean.
02:08:42.000 One other thing.
02:08:43.000 Find me a scientist who says that.
02:08:44.000 I love solar, but solar doesn't quite have it yet.
02:08:47.000 It's not powerful yet to really run our big, beautiful factories that we need to compete with the world.
02:08:55.000 So it's all a pipe dream.
02:08:57.000 Incorrect.
02:08:57.000 You know what we'll do?
02:08:58.000 We're going to have the greatest economy in the world, but if you want to kill the economy, get rid of your oil industry.
02:09:05.000 And what about fracking?
02:09:07.000 Alright, let me, let me have, let me allow Vice President Biden to respond.
02:09:11.000 I never said I oppose fracking.
02:09:13.000 Never?
02:09:14.000 You said it on tape.
02:09:15.000 I didn't show the tape.
02:09:16.000 Put it on your website.
02:09:17.000 We'll bring the clip after this stream.
02:09:20.000 Let's remember, let's come back to it.
02:09:22.000 He said he was going to ban fracking.
02:09:23.000 That's a lie!
02:09:24.000 Kristen Welker, unless you're retarded, sweetheart, you know that's a lie.
02:09:28.000 If you're following up with Donald Trump on 2, 3, 4 questions in, as far as we led with which pharmaceutical companies specifically are going to give us a vaccine before the election, then you should ask him, hey, wait a second, Joe.
02:09:42.000 You did say you would ban fracking.
02:09:43.000 We will show you the clip in our post-game wrap-up after this.
02:09:47.000 It's clear as day.
02:09:48.000 He basically says, I'll ban fracking.
02:09:51.000 I have one more question in this pod.
02:09:53.000 He said it.
02:09:56.000 I will show that to you tomorrow.
02:09:58.000 I am against fracking until he got to Pennsylvania.
02:10:02.000 Then he said, but you know what, Pennsylvania, he'll be against it very soon because his party is totally Fracking on federal land, I said.
02:10:09.000 No fracking and no oil on federal land.
02:10:12.000 And by the way, it's not fracking on federal land.
02:10:16.000 It's fracking that requires any kind of a trajectory, any kind of a pipe to even broach federal land at any point, which, by the way, is necessary for any fracking to work, which is what makes it so clean, energy efficient, and better than bringing in oil on tankers from Saudi Arabia, you dumb shit!
02:10:34.000 The families that we're talking about are employed heavily, and they are making a lot of money, more money than they've ever made.
02:10:41.000 If you look at the kind of numbers that we produce for Hispanic, or Black, or Asian, it's nine times greater the percentage gain than it was under, in three years, than it was under eight years of the two of them, to put it nicely.
02:10:59.000 Nine times more.
02:11:02.000 Somebody lives, I have not heard the numbers or the statistics, but they're making a tremendous amount of money.
02:11:10.000 Economically, we saved it.
02:11:11.000 And I saved it a number of months ago when oil was crashing because of the pandemic.
02:11:16.000 We saved it.
02:11:17.000 We got, say what you want about relationship, we got Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Russia to cut back way back, we saved our oil industry and now it's very vibrant again.
02:11:28.000 And everybody has very inexpensive gasoline, remember that.
02:11:40.000 He's from everywhere!
02:11:41.000 plants that in fact pollute chemical plants and oil plants and refineries that pollute.
02:11:46.000 I used to live near that when I was growing up in Claymont, Delaware.
02:11:49.000 And all refineries in the Delaware River than there is any place including in Houston at the time.
02:11:56.000 When my mom get in the car and when when our first frost when I drive me to school,
02:12:00.000 turning which way but they've been oil slick in the window.
02:12:02.000 That's why so many people in my state were dying and getting cancer.
02:12:06.000 The fact is those front line communities are still men.
02:12:09.000 Joe, that was 70 years ago!
02:12:14.000 Maybe something more recent.
02:12:16.000 The pollutants coming out of those fence line communities.
02:12:20.000 Okay, I have one final question.
02:12:22.000 Would it close down the oil industry?
02:12:23.000 It falls?
02:12:24.000 Would you close down the oil industry?
02:12:25.000 I would transition from the oil industry, yes.
02:12:28.000 Oh, that's a big statement.
02:12:29.000 It is a big statement.
02:12:29.000 That's a big statement.
02:12:31.000 Because I would stop- Why would you do that?
02:12:33.000 Why would you do that?
02:12:36.000 Significantly.
02:12:37.000 Here's the deal.
02:12:38.000 That's a big statement.
02:12:39.000 Well, if you let me finish the statement, because it has to be replaced by renewable energy over time.
02:12:46.000 Over time.
02:12:47.000 And I'd stop giving to the oil industry, I'd stop giving them federal subsidies.
02:12:51.000 He won't give federal subsidies to the gas, excuse me, to the... What a big man you are.
02:12:57.000 Next time bring a pack of gum, you can show me how to chew it.
02:13:00.000 We actually do go to solar and wind.
02:13:02.000 That's maybe the biggest statement in terms of business.
02:13:05.000 That's the biggest statement.
02:13:06.000 Because basically what he's saying is he is going to destroy The oil industry.
02:13:11.000 Will you remember that, Texas?
02:13:13.000 Will you remember that, Pennsylvania?
02:13:14.000 Vice President Biden.
02:13:16.000 Oh!
02:13:18.000 Boom! Boom!
02:13:20.000 Triton don't run a train on Biden like it's the Warriors and they're the Baseball Furies!
02:13:26.000 Zero emissions.
02:13:28.000 The first place to do that by the year 2035 is in energy production.
02:13:32.000 By 2050, totally.
02:13:34.000 How do you have leverage when you join in with every other country?
02:13:37.000 You couldn't even get people to pay 0.5% in NATO for 8 years!
02:13:39.000 join Paris Accord and make China abide by what they agreed to.
02:13:43.000 How do you have leverage when you join in with every other country?
02:13:47.000 You couldn't even get people to pay 0.5% in NATO for 8 years!
02:13:53.000 0.5% in NATO!
02:13:56.000 We have to make a country totally successful as it was prior to the plague coming in from China.
02:14:06.000 Now we're doing record numbers 11.4 million jobs in a short period of time, etc.
02:14:12.000 But I will tell you, go back.
02:14:14.000 Before the plague came in, just before, I was getting calls from people that were not normally people that would call me.
02:14:21.000 They wanted to get together.
02:14:22.000 We had the best black unemployment numbers in the history of our country.
02:14:26.000 Hispanic, women, Asian.
02:14:30.000 People with diplomas with no diplomas, MIT graduates number one in the class, everybody had the best numbers.
02:14:37.000 And you know what?
02:14:37.000 The other side wanted to get together.
02:14:39.000 They wanted to unify.
02:14:41.000 Success is going to bring us together.
02:14:44.000 We are on the road to success.
02:14:45.000 I'm cutting taxes and he wants to raise everybody's taxes and he wants to put new regulations on everything.
02:14:51.000 He will kill it.
02:14:53.000 If he gets in, you will have a depression the likes of which you've never seen.
02:14:57.000 Your 401ks will go to hell, and it'll be a very, very sad day for this country.
02:15:02.000 All right.
02:15:03.000 Vice President Biden, same question to you.
02:15:05.000 What will you say during your inaugural address to Americans who did not vote for you?
02:15:10.000 I will say I'm an American president.
02:15:13.000 I represent all of you, whether you voted for me or against me.
02:15:16.000 And I'm going to make sure that you're represented.
02:15:19.000 I'm going to give you hope.
02:15:20.000 We're going to move.
02:15:20.000 We're going to choose science over fiction.
02:15:23.000 We're going to choose hope over fear.
02:15:25.000 We're going to choose to move forward because we have enormous opportunities, enormous opportunities to make things better.
02:15:32.000 We can grow this economy.
02:15:33.000 We can deal with the systemic racism.
02:15:36.000 At the same time, we can make sure that our economy is being run and moved and motivated by clean energy, creating millions of new jobs.
02:15:46.000 And that's the fact.
02:15:47.000 That's what we're going to do.
02:15:48.000 He's two seconds home.
02:15:50.000 His closing speech is about energy because it's the last question.
02:15:53.000 He can't think of anything that happened before that.
02:15:55.000 This isn't a general closing statement.
02:15:58.000 It's about the last question.
02:16:00.000 Making sure that everyone has an even chance.
02:16:02.000 And I'm going to make sure you get that.
02:16:04.000 You haven't been getting it the last four years.
02:16:06.000 All right. I want to thank you both for a very robust hour and a half. A fantastic debate.
02:16:12.000 Really appreciate it. President Trump, former Vice President Joe Biden. Thank you to Belmont
02:16:17.000 University for hosting us tonight. And most importantly, thank you to those watching tonight.

02:16:55.000 You never know.
02:16:56.000 So please do tune in for that.
02:16:58.000 I need to pass.
02:16:59.000 And we will be taking your chat exclusively.
02:17:01.000 I want to, do we have the fracking clip from Joe Biden?
02:17:05.000 Can you guys let me, do we have that?
02:17:06.000 Yes.
02:17:06.000 Before we do anything else, I want to show you this because this is something where he just lied and he was not fact-checked at all.
02:17:10.000 And we'll give you our closing thoughts.
02:17:12.000 Let's bring up the Joe, did Joe Biden ever say, imply, or insinuate that he would ban fracking?
02:17:20.000 No more, no new fracking.
02:17:24.000 We are getting rid of fossil fuels.
02:17:26.000 What about, say, stopping fracking?
02:17:29.000 Would there be any place for fossil fuels, including coal and fracking, in a Biden administration?
02:17:36.000 No, we would work it out.
02:17:38.000 We would make sure it's eliminated.
02:17:40.000 I guarantee, I guarantee we're going to end fossil fuel and I am not going to clock it.
02:17:49.000 No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill.
02:17:52.000 Period.
02:17:53.000 Ends.
02:17:53.000 Number one.
02:17:54.000 Three consecutive American presidents have enjoyed stints of explosive economic growth due to a boom in oil and natural gas production.
02:18:02.000 As president, would you be willing to sacrifice some of that growth, even knowing potentially that it could displace thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands, of blue-collar workers in the interest of transitioning to that greener economy?
02:18:14.000 The answer is yes.
02:18:15.000 The answer is yes.
02:18:17.000 No more, no new fracking.
02:18:19.000 That's looping up.
02:18:22.000 A couple of things to note.
02:18:25.000 And this bothers me both about the right and the left.
02:18:28.000 Unless something is blatant, then people don't have something to bitch about.
02:18:31.000 This, to me, was far worse than Chris Wallace.
02:18:34.000 Far worse than Chris Wallace because of how subversive it was.
02:18:37.000 Because of the 1, 2, 3, 4 specific follow-ups on Donald Trump and none on Joe Biden.
02:18:44.000 You have to believe one of two things.
02:18:46.000 I keep wanting to say Savannah.
02:18:47.000 You have to believe that Kristen Welker either doesn't know about any of those quotes.
02:18:51.000 What was that?
02:18:51.000 At least half a dozen?
02:18:53.000 Yeah.
02:18:53.000 from Joe Biden either doesn't know in which case she's totally unqualified to be a journalist
02:18:57.000 moderating the debates or she's lying.
02:18:59.000 There is no in between.
02:19:01.000 There is no in between.
02:19:02.000 You cannot justifiably say, well, I need to fact check President Donald Trump.
02:19:07.000 When Donald Trump says we have vaccines coming down the pipeline, we're making a lot of progress,
02:19:11.000 that's not something that you need to necessarily fact check.
02:19:14.000 That's providing people hope.
02:19:15.000 And then you go, when?
02:19:16.000 Before election?
02:19:17.000 When?
02:19:18.000 Can you name the companies?
02:19:19.000 Will you give us specifics?
02:19:20.000 Whereas Joe Biden says, I've never said that.
02:19:23.000 I've never said I'll ban fracking.
02:19:25.000 That's a specific, and it's one that if you are qualified to do your job, you hang him on.
02:19:31.000 This was worse because, just like I say, Governor Whitmer is far worse than AOC, far worse than, what's the name of the Somalian pirate, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib.
02:19:41.000 Same kind of ideology.
02:19:43.000 This is my house now.
02:19:45.000 Your Congress belongs to me.
02:19:48.000 She's a different coat of paint, Governor Whitmer, with the same policies.
02:19:51.000 That's what we have with Kristen Welker.
02:19:52.000 She's far worse than Chris Wallace.
02:19:54.000 She didn't follow up at all on Joe Biden.
02:19:57.000 Do you honestly believe that she doesn't understand that Joe Biden is lying about fracking?
02:20:00.000 Something else that I think is pretty important.
02:20:02.000 Donald Trump, in closing, made a great statement, and I don't think he realized Just how wide-reaching it was, where he talked about, okay, minorities are doing better than ever before.
02:20:11.000 We're actually reducing carbon emissions.
02:20:13.000 We're actually improving green energy.
02:20:16.000 All of which is true, by the way.
02:20:18.000 Let me fact-check this for you.
02:20:19.000 Yes, black unemployment is at record low.
02:20:22.000 Yes, more people are driving electric cars and moving to green energy than ever before.
02:20:26.000 Yes, we have reduced our carbon emissions more than we ever have in the United States.
02:20:31.000 Yes, gas is also cheaper at the same time because we've made our own natural resources, gas, oil, more accessible rather than being dependent on foreign sources, which by the way is also why carbon emissions are overall lower.
02:20:44.000 All of those things are true, but here's what's important.
02:20:47.000 Donald Trump managed to accomplish all of those things, and by that I mean the conservative ideology, without going out and saying, hey, we're going to subsidize Solyndra.
02:20:55.000 Without going out and saying, hey, we're going to give you more food stamps, which Joe Biden basically said tonight with black people.
02:21:01.000 Without going out and saying, hey, we're going to give you a free citizenship.
02:21:05.000 By the way, if you want to talk about value-added, a United States citizenship is the most valuable piece of paper you can have the world over.
02:21:11.000 Without any of those, a rising tide.
02:21:14.000 Lifts all ships.
02:21:15.000 And what has Donald Trump done?
02:21:16.000 All of those things that he said were true.
02:21:19.000 But if you look at specific policies, did he say we're going to punish the oil and gas industry?
02:21:22.000 No, he didn't.
02:21:23.000 Did he say we're going to punish white people so that black people have more employment?
02:21:26.000 No, he didn't.
02:21:27.000 Did he say we're going to punish working class Americans so that we can create more passive citizenship?
02:21:32.000 No, he didn't.
02:21:33.000 What he did was stepped out of the way, reduced regulation, reduced taxes, and that benefited everybody because business owners were able to step in and do their job and employ more Americans and create the greatest economy that we've ever known.
02:21:44.000 And I'll tell you this, I'll tell you what, if Joe Biden becomes president, there are a lot of companies out there who will have to lay people off.
02:21:50.000 We won't.
02:21:51.000 I'm just going to take a pay cut myself.
02:21:53.000 Just so you know, we might not grow as much.
02:21:55.000 We might not be able to do as many shows because we may not have as much money for production.
02:21:59.000 But I'm not going to be laying anybody off.
02:22:00.000 But I can tell you that there will be a direct impact on this company.
02:22:04.000 Right now, louder with Crowder, if Joe Biden becomes president and his economic policy becomes law, take two salaries.
02:22:11.000 Audio Wade, you can show Audio Wade.
02:22:13.000 Okay?
02:22:14.000 Audio Wade.
02:22:15.000 Or it could be Tocanawan.
02:22:17.000 Or it could be quarter black Garrett.
02:22:20.000 Take two full salaries at minimum is what we will see in an increase in taxes.
02:22:25.000 And I'm making you a promise that we're not going to lay people off because of that.
02:22:28.000 But we may have to scale back on production.
02:22:30.000 There is a direct impact from economic policy and the same can be said for energy.
02:22:36.000 The same can be said for black people.
02:22:38.000 How do you think Elon Musk went to Texas?
02:22:41.000 Does Texas have more pro-green subsidies than California?
02:22:45.000 No!
02:22:45.000 Texas just has a non-crippling status economy when compared to California.
02:22:50.000 So Elon Musk, the man who thinks that this world could be Mad Max in a very short period of time, and a man who by every box that you check should be a liberal, left California, the economy that banned how many SUVs car lots could have, to encourage the green car, electric car industry.
02:23:11.000 He's leaving them for the...
02:23:14.000 Texas oil man state.
02:23:16.000 That should tell you what you need to know.
02:23:18.000 Create an economy that benefits everybody and a rising tide lifts all ships.
02:23:23.000 And Donald Trump, oh my gosh, what a positive message.
02:23:26.000 A message of hope.
02:23:27.000 A message of what America is and what America can be.
02:23:30.000 And he has the stats to back it up.
02:23:32.000 Joe Biden doesn't want to fall back on his record.
02:23:35.000 His record is racial jungle and the 94 crime bill and forgetting where he is when he drinks a bucket of salt water someone turns on the microwave.
02:23:42.000 So he has to make a bunch of empty promises that Kristen Walker will never fact check him on.
02:23:46.000 This was a very stark contrast.
02:23:49.000 I think it was a surprising win for Donald Trump.
02:23:51.000 And I said going in that it may be a silver lining.
02:23:54.000 The fact that they have two minutes.
02:23:56.000 When you look at Joe Biden.
02:23:57.000 Joe Biden was not able to handle two minutes by himself.
02:24:01.000 He does not do well with alone time.
02:24:03.000 He does not do well without a backup band.
02:24:06.000 And as much as Kristen Walker was trying to be the backup band, it didn't work.
02:24:10.000 Final thing I will say is, there was a recent fight in the UFC actually, one of the only organizations that has seen actually a record increase in viewership because they allow people to express their own political views and they don't put a Black Lives Matter in the middle of their octagon.
02:24:22.000 There was a recent fight.
02:24:23.000 Brian Ortega fought in the UFC.
02:24:24.000 He fought against a guy named Korean Zombie.
02:24:26.000 Now, for those who don't watch fighting, just listen, and I'll make sure that this makes sense to you.
02:24:29.000 Brian Ortega had been out of fighting for, I believe it was a year and a half or two years.
02:24:34.000 His last fight, he lost a title fight.
02:24:36.000 And he lost pretty badly, and people said, well, you know what, that may be the end for him.
02:24:39.000 After that fight, Brian Ortega switched camps.
02:24:42.000 He fired a lot of his people.
02:24:43.000 The only person that he kept was Henry Gracie, a good friend of the show, part of the Gracie family.
02:24:47.000 And the question was, It's been a long layoff.
02:24:50.000 Is there a ring rust?
02:24:51.000 How will Brian Ortega come back?
02:24:52.000 Brian Ortega came back, watched the fight from last weekend, and it was possibly the most masterful performance we've ever seen in the 145 division in the UFC because he listened to the feedback, he listened to the criticism, he recalibrated, and he came back as a whole new fighter.
02:25:09.000 Donald Trump tonight was the Brian Ortega of politics.
02:25:13.000 I definitely think you're right.
02:25:14.000 I think this was a different candidate this time for getting reelected.
02:25:17.000 And he did a great job.
02:25:18.000 with Hillary Clinton and I only wish that we would have a third but Joe Biden has to get back to his
02:25:22.000 basement. What do you think there, macho man Randy? I definitely think you're right. I think
02:25:27.000 this was a different candidate this time for you know getting re-elected and he did a great job.
02:25:32.000 He held back when he needed to. He fought really hard and he gave Joe Biden enough rope to hang
02:25:36.000 himself. You and I were talking about whether he would actually make that correction between the
02:25:40.000 debates. We're like I hope somebody's in his ear. I hope somebody is going to make him listen and
02:25:44.000 thank God that he did. The messages, there was a stark contrast right? It was dark winter for
02:25:49.000 Joe Biden. That's what he said. We're heading into a dark winter. Donald Trump said things are getting
02:25:54.000 better. The economy is getting better. Jobs are getting better. It was a positive message for the
02:25:59.000 country and Joe Biden said things are horrible. You need me to come in and save you and Donald
02:26:04.000 OK, what's your policy to save?
02:26:05.000 Well, we're going to get rid of your tax plan.
02:26:07.000 OK, we're going to keep the economy closed.
02:26:10.000 Oh, really?
02:26:10.000 So you want to take tax dollars that we don't have to give to people that would do better if the economy was simply open?
02:26:16.000 You weren't here.
02:26:16.000 He critiqued Donald Trump on tax dollars when Donald Trump was talking about how it's paid for by China.
02:26:21.000 Well no, I saw that.
02:26:21.000 I was here for that.
02:26:23.000 He said China paid for it.
02:26:26.000 It's totally inconsistent.
02:26:27.000 He doesn't have a plan.
02:26:28.000 He keeps coming out and saying we need to give them money, we need to give them money.
02:26:31.000 No you don't!
02:26:32.000 Listen, open the economy, you idiot!
02:26:36.000 You don't need to give them any more money.
02:26:38.000 You need to open the economy and let the American people do what we do best, and that is go out and be entrepreneurs and innovate and create jobs.
02:26:44.000 Listen, I want to go to quarter black Garrett audio Wade's thoughts.
02:26:47.000 We're going to read the costume winner at ladder with credit.com slash mug as well as
02:26:51.000 all of your chats after this.
02:26:53.000 But I will say this, you know, you've heard me say this before.
02:26:55.000 What was the message tonight?
02:26:56.000 Listen, if Republicans are the party of the rich, meaning, and I don't know what that means anymore because the rich, meaning big tech, big Hollywood, big Wall Street, big banks, they all endorse Joe Biden, but Republicans certainly are the party of business owners.
02:27:09.000 Republicans are certainly the party of people with more money in their pockets or who want more money in their pockets.
02:27:14.000 If Republicans are the party of the business-minded, if Republicans are the party of the upper middle class, which statistically they vote overwhelmingly, that's a big myth too.
02:27:21.000 The ultra-wealthy, the Bill Gates, the Mark Zuckerbergs of the world, they don't vote Republican.
02:27:26.000 But the small business owners, the people who maybe do, Do make $400,000 a year and aren't just holding public office, but have worked their way up and they manage small businesses and maybe they're making half a million, maybe they're making a million.
02:27:37.000 You shouldn't vilify them.
02:27:38.000 You shouldn't hate them.
02:27:39.000 Those people, the people who employ most of you watching, they vote Republican.
02:27:43.000 So, if the Republican Party, if Donald Trump is the party of the upper middle class wealthy, their incentive to have a voting base is to keep you wealthy.
02:27:53.000 If Democrats are the party of the uber rich or the poor or blacks on welfare, as Joe Biden I'll make sure that more of them are on welfare.
02:28:01.000 Guess what?
02:28:02.000 It's in their best interest to keep you on welfare.
02:28:06.000 If the Republican Party, what you heard tonight was a message of independence.
02:28:09.000 Look, we have to get the country back open.
02:28:12.000 We have to get back to normal.
02:28:13.000 Donald Trump was saying we have to get people back to their work.
02:28:16.000 We have to get people back to running their businesses.
02:28:19.000 We have to get teachers back to teaching.
02:28:20.000 We have to get the economy self-sustaining once again.
02:28:25.000 If that's his message, The only way Donald Trump wins, the only way Donald Trump has a W next to his name in that column at the end of his presidency, hopefully eight years, is guess what?
02:28:37.000 If Americans are self-sustaining, Joe Biden, it was like Game of Thrones, only the first half.
02:28:42.000 Winter is coming, it's gonna be a dark winter.
02:28:44.000 Show us where you mess up the White Walkers!
02:28:47.000 Which, by the way, he looks strikingly like!
02:28:50.000 The icy blue eyes and the hair, and not to mention the demonic soul!
02:28:55.000 The Democrat Party is a party of, you can't do it, it's a dark winter, and we're going to continue welfare.
02:29:01.000 Guess what?
02:29:02.000 It is in their best interest to make it a dark winter.
02:29:05.000 It is in their best interest to make sure that you need to stay on welfare.
02:29:09.000 It is as clear as humanly possible.
02:29:11.000 And if people are listening to what they heard tonight, oh my god, I'm so grateful that actually people often say this about the polls.
02:29:18.000 Well, you know what?
02:29:19.000 Actually, the swing state polls are are closer to within the margin of error than at this point
02:29:23.000 with Hillary Clinton versus Donald Trump.
02:29:25.000 I'm glad to hear that, but I expect after tonight that we're going to see those tighten
02:29:29.000 up quite a bit because people from Scranton are going, well they can't even say, I know
02:29:34.000 that asshole because they don't.
02:29:35.000 They've never seen him there.
02:29:37.000 He left when he was in a baby carriage.
02:29:39.000 So I think this was overall a pretty good debate.
02:29:43.000 I think it moved the needle.
02:29:45.000 And it'll be interesting to see how this changes the campaigning moving forward.
02:29:49.000 And I think that this was the most shameful moderating that we've seen.
02:29:52.000 I think this was worse than Savannah Guthrie.
02:29:54.000 I think it was worse than Chris Wallace.
02:29:55.000 And right now, we are about to go exclusive to Mug Club at lightoffcutter.com.
02:30:00.000 The promo code is CROWDERMANIA.
02:30:02.000 You get $30 off!

02:30:08.000 It only comes tonight, and then once every four years, that discount.
02:30:12.000 Again, the discount code is CROWDERMANIA.
02:30:14.000 It's what allows us to continue, because apparently we've already been demonetized for this tonight from some naughty language, and also CNN isn't all too happy.
02:30:22.000 So, YouTube, thank you, screw you, but right now we're going exclusive!
