Summary

Debate Night is upon us, and the candidates are starting to make their case for why they should be the next president of the United States. On the eve of tonight's debate, the field is narrowing, and there's a lot to be decided about who's going to come out on top. In this episode of Debate Night Live, host Jake Tapper sits down with two of the candidates to discuss who they think is going to win the debate, and why they think they should win it.

00:00:00.000 Kiss!
00:00:00.000 And I'll see you in the next video.
00:00:27.000 Hey, stay tuned for a debate night livestream live.
00:00:32.000 You can use the hashtag, CrowderDebateNight.
00:00:34.000 We have a promo code, Drinking Game Rules, to follow.
00:00:36.000 But, number two here, Gerald Morgan, CEO, sat down just a little bit earlier today with Vivek Ramaswamy, you know his name, to discuss his thoughts and predictions on the debate.
00:00:48.000 So, ten minutes, and then we go live.
00:00:51.000 But enjoy this interview with America's favorite Indian.
00:00:58.000 Look, the field is definitely narrowing, and I know that we've covered a number of topics already in the debate so far.
00:01:04.000 What topics are you focusing on and kind of preparing for for tonight's debate?
00:01:10.000 I mean, look, every topic matters, but right now there's a few things that are going on in the world.
00:01:16.000 One is the Republicans got trounced again.
00:01:19.000 Yeah.
00:01:19.000 Interestingly, every election since, you know, what, 2018, 2020, 2022, now 2023, which is actually a pretty meaningful election, my home state, I was very disappointed with the results.
00:01:32.000 I mean, it wasn't even close in Ohio.
00:01:35.000 On measure on issue number one in particular that Republicans or the conservative or pro-life cost should have had an alternative that was on the ballot.
00:01:42.000 It wasn't.
00:01:43.000 So I am in a pretty disgusted place with the Republican establishment right now.
00:01:48.000 And that's the same establishment that's looking to lead us to World War Three.
00:01:51.000 I mean, it's Dick Cheney 2.0 trying to run the Republican Party, except this time they lose elections consistently.
00:01:58.000 And, you know, I'm very worried that the same establishment that has failed the conservative movement here at home in a sort of domestic war that they fail to recognize that we're in.
00:02:09.000 I do think it's a war between those who love this country and those who hate this country at home.
00:02:14.000 Failing to recognize that are instead making up foreign wars to go fight that don't advance the American interest, most notably in Ukraine.
00:02:21.000 But we can talk about that more broadly, too.
00:02:24.000 And so I'm coming from a place of, you know, deep frustration.
00:02:28.000 But how are we going to channel that to solutions?
00:02:31.000 That's my job, not just tonight, but as the next president if we're elected.
00:02:34.000 Absolutely.
00:02:34.000 And I know that you have to be prepared for any topic, any question, any time of day it seems.
00:02:40.000 Like your entire life right now is answering these questions and being prepared.
00:02:43.000 But I think if anybody's looking to kind of read the tea leaves, the international questions, the kind of geopolitical questions, seem like they would make the most sense tonight.
00:02:52.000 Is that the sense that you and your team are getting as well?
00:02:55.000 I mean, yeah, I think that's the vibe.
00:02:58.000 It makes a lot of sense.
00:02:59.000 I mean, I think there should probably be some introspection in the GOP about Why the hell we're repeatedly failing, you know, why we as a country have lost our own identity at home, why there's the self-loathing we see on display most recently on college campuses, but you see it, the self-loathing on display in this country.
00:03:17.000 So I think there should be some discussion of the cultural rot and cancer at the heart of this country.
00:03:21.000 But yes, right now, more than ever, we're at risk of potentially entering major conflict.
00:03:28.000 In a way that we haven't for a very long time in this country.
00:03:30.000 And I do think that's also where we have the deepest divisions within the Republican Party.
00:03:34.000 And the cultural issues, we each have different perspectives on how we'd address it.
00:03:38.000 I think that, you know, I'm biased when I say this, but I think somebody who has a deeper understanding of what's going on is going to be better positioned to address it.
00:03:46.000 But those are nuances.
00:03:48.000 But on the international matters, we have deep differences on what we should be doing.
00:03:53.000 There are other people in this party who believe we should be writing tens of billions and then hundreds of billions of dollars more checks to places like Ukraine.
00:04:00.000 I solidly disagree with that.
00:04:01.000 I think it does not advance the American interest.
00:04:03.000 I would go so far as to say it's now hurting the American interest and increasing the risk of major conflict.
00:04:07.000 It's not just the money.
00:04:09.000 Some people think we're $34 trillion in national debt, and that still means we should be giving aid packages willy-nilly to people whose national debt per capita is less than ours.
00:04:16.000 I disagree with that.
00:04:17.000 So those are real ideological divisions within the GOP.
00:04:21.000 So it would make sense to me if we smoked some of that out tonight.
00:04:27.000 Last night, actually, we held a rally in Miami.
00:04:29.000 It was the Stop World War III rally, and we rolled out my No to Neocon pledge.
00:04:35.000 Which is basically three simple things I'm going to ask anybody who's a political appointee in my administration to commit to.
00:04:42.000 That they acknowledge that avoiding World War III is a vital national interest, that the job of every U.S.
00:04:50.000 policymaker is exclusively to U.S.
00:04:52.000 citizens here at home, and that war should never be a preference, only a necessity.
00:04:56.000 So that's not controversial, but at the same time it runs Directly counter to the neocon worldview that's dominated our party for much of the last several decades.
00:05:06.000 And so, you know, that we made a little website for it, notoneocons.com, and people can see the pledge and we want to get as many conservatives across this country to sign up to those basic Are you going to actively call for the other candidates tonight to sign that pledge or be willing to at least commit to it tonight?
00:05:21.000 I think so.
00:05:21.000 I mean, I publicly called for that.
00:05:22.000 other people on that debate stage, some of whom stand to make money from going to war,
00:05:25.000 personally make money from going to war, you know, I think will represent.
00:05:29.000 Are you going to actively call for the other candidates tonight to sign that pledge or
00:05:33.000 be willing to at least commit to it tonight?
00:05:37.000 I think so.
00:05:38.000 I mean, I publicly called for that.
00:05:39.000 So I think of the debate stage, I think I want to be a little bit more fluid and not
00:05:46.000 You know, I think, you know, I'm going to go through it.
00:05:51.000 It's my first time going through a political campaign like this, right?
00:05:54.000 So you go through different iterations, you learn.
00:05:57.000 In retrospect, you know, I mean, I was trying to wear, I would say a team player hat a little bit.
00:06:04.000 Yeah.
00:06:05.000 Maybe we can, you know, unite around certain common themes in that second debate.
00:06:09.000 It just, it just wasn't used.
00:06:11.000 And second, for so many reasons, wasn't useful, but I wasn't, Really particularly useful?
00:06:16.000 I would say in that debate either.
00:06:18.000 We talked about it when you were here at the studio for the Ash Wednesday that we did.
00:06:21.000 Yeah, and I think you were right about it.
00:06:22.000 I was yelling at the monitor, I was just like, come on, this isn't you.
00:06:26.000 You know, and I was thinking about, I mean, you gotta, you know, I wouldn't say cut me
00:06:30.000 any slack at all because, you know, I'm a candidate, but I'm telling you, as a first
00:06:33.000 timer going through this, you experiment with different modes and mentalities and head spaces.
00:06:39.000 And, you know, today, I'll tell you what my day looked like before the debate stage.
00:06:42.000 I went for a jog this morning, then we went for jet skiing, swam in the ocean a little bit.
00:06:50.000 I'm going to go.
00:06:50.000 We were in the pool before.
00:06:51.000 I'm going to go back to the pool, going to have a meal with my family, and then we'll come back to the place we're going to have the debate.
00:06:57.000 And I just want to kind of keep it.
00:06:58.000 So maybe I'll mention the No to Neocon pledge if that feels like it's not particularly those three commitments.
00:07:06.000 Great.
00:07:07.000 People have the website afterwards.
00:07:08.000 We're running this campaign, the No to Neocon pledge, through December 7th.
00:07:12.000 That's the date that the U.S.
00:07:15.000 entered World War II.
00:07:17.000 right to have that December 7 this year to say that we will make it a priority
00:07:23.000 to keep us out of World War three but whether that comes up on the debate
00:07:26.000 stage or not we'll see I'm gonna be pretty fluid tonight I am I'll tell you
00:07:31.000 right now I mean we're a few hours before the debate I am at a you're
00:07:35.000 catching me at an irritated moment at the Republican establishment broadly to
00:07:40.000 cancer I think that it needs to be cured, if the country is going to be cured.
00:07:45.000 And there needs to be accountability for, you know, the failures of this party.
00:07:51.000 And I think that in many cases, it behaves a lot like the Democratic Party, except like a less competent version of it at times.
00:07:57.000 And so, you know, I think that those are some of the themes on my mind, and I think that the risk of World War III and our entering it, potentially major conflict soon, sleepwalking our way into it, is a risk that both parties, I think, bear responsibility for.
00:08:11.000 And I think I'm going to be the only non-neocon on that stage tonight calling for The U.S.
00:08:18.000 to do something other than intervening in foreign conflicts and instead focus more on protecting our own homeland and our own borders, which we're badly failing to do here at home.
00:08:25.000 And then, you know, the response I'm sure will be, oh, we can walk and chew gum at the same time.
00:08:28.000 You're doing neither, is the answer that I have to anybody who comes with that response.
00:08:33.000 And so Yeah, there's some people on that stage who ideologically believe it.
00:08:37.000 Others who, and this is ugly, but it's an ugly truth, just like the Biden crime family, stand to make money off of selling off our foreign policy.
00:08:46.000 That's happening in the Republican Party as it is in the Democratic Party.
00:08:48.000 And so that deserves to be called out as well.
00:08:51.000 And so I hope we'll get, you know, I don't know if we'll get that on the debate stage tonight, or it'll be in the subsequent months of this campaign.
00:08:57.000 But if we're hitting on related topics, you can expect me to be pretty unrestrained.
00:09:03.000 Well, look, I think that's what people like.
00:09:05.000 That's what people like about President Trump.
00:09:07.000 They like that he really doesn't hold back.
00:09:09.000 You know exactly what he thinks, it seems, most of the time, whether you like it or not.
00:09:14.000 And I think that's what people liked about you, right?
00:09:16.000 That you're very fluid.
00:09:17.000 In that second debate, you talked about, you know, strategy shifting just a little bit.
00:09:21.000 And, you know, one thing that you did, you kind of leaned over to me as you were leaving and said, I think you're going to like what you see in the third debate when you were, you know, after the state.
00:09:28.000 I'm hoping that That low grade or even mild to severe irritation is good.
00:09:36.000 I'm just done with the genteel norms.
00:09:40.000 As I said, I'm a candidate, go through different stages.
00:09:42.000 I'm a human being, we experimented.
00:09:44.000 I experimented with different modes.
00:09:48.000 I've never led the free world before.
00:09:49.000 I've led companies before.
00:09:51.000 But thinking about the different ways In some ways, one of the pieces of advice I actually gave to a young person recently is just view everything as an experiment.
00:10:02.000 Right?
00:10:02.000 I mean, life is an experiment.
00:10:03.000 So you are able to learn the most that way.
00:10:07.000 And I think this campaign in some ways has been, you know, I'll try to follow my own advice.
00:10:14.000 And I think the experiment that worked best is me being unrestrained and, you know, unattached to a specific you know, political goal, but to say that my whole strategy
00:10:26.000 is speak the truth, and if that's what the people of this country want in their next president,
00:10:28.000 that's what they're going to get in me.
00:10:30.000 And if not, then go for somebody else. Yeah, right. Well, I think you have to just be who
00:10:33.000 you are. Totally at peace with that. Yeah.
00:10:35.000 You're not the chosen one, Gerald.
00:10:50.000 You're terrible.
00:10:51.000 And you're gay.
00:10:53.000 I'm the chosen one.
00:10:54.000 You see, I'm the one who created Mug Club.
00:10:56.000 Everyone knows that it's growing.
00:10:58.000 No thanks to you, Gerald.
00:10:59.000 Of course, this is all for you.
00:11:01.000 It's your mug.
00:11:02.000 It's your club.
00:11:03.000 It's your Mug Club.
00:11:04.000 I'm behind the scenes guy.
00:11:06.000 I'm just trying to help you.
00:11:07.000 I'm not gay.
00:11:08.000 I did what our detractors didn't think was possible, and I did it all while having my name smeared Through those filthy rags with which you wrap your rotten fish.
00:11:17.000 And you know what?
00:11:18.000 Hm?
00:11:18.000 You know what?
00:11:19.000 I made a deal with Rumble and I delivered them hundreds of thousands of mugs.
00:11:24.000 Day one.
00:11:25.000 And now it's our vision.
00:11:26.000 My vision.
00:11:27.000 Not Gerald's vision.
00:11:28.000 And we're leading the charge.
00:11:29.000 And you know what else I did?
00:11:30.000 Hm?
00:11:31.000 You know what else I did?
00:11:32.000 I took the good people of Rumble out to dinner and I did it with your salary on your dime.
00:11:37.000 I paid it!
00:11:38.000 Cash in hand.
00:11:39.000 It was delicious.
00:11:40.000 I had the veal.
00:11:41.000 Why would you do that?
00:11:42.000 That's a baby cow!
00:11:44.000 Why?
00:11:45.000 Why?
00:11:45.000 You'd let it grow up and give it false hope.
00:11:47.000 Why are you doing this?
00:11:49.000 Oh God!
00:11:49.000 Stop your gay nonsense!
00:11:52.000 You're just the afterbirth, Gerald.
00:11:55.000 It slithered out of your mother's filth.
00:11:55.000 No!
00:11:55.000 No!
00:11:58.000 No, why are you doing this?
00:11:59.000 They should have put your face on a YouTube plaque when they shot it at the range.
00:12:04.000 Two for one!
00:12:05.000 You think you're great!
00:12:06.000 You think you're so great!
00:12:07.000 But Gerald, where were you when I was bringing on Nick DiBallo?
00:12:11.000 Where were you?
00:12:12.000 I brought on Brian Callen and the best bit of news, Alex Jones.
00:12:17.000 No, he can't be, you couldn't have gotten him.
00:12:19.000 I did, he can, and he was.
00:12:23.000 Newest addition to the network.
00:12:24.000 No thanks to you.
00:12:25.000 No thanks to you and your gay face.
00:12:28.000 I'm not gay, I've been married for years, you know this.
00:12:31.000 GAY!
00:12:34.000 Gay!
00:12:36.000 Gerald Morgan is what you are.
00:12:38.000 You glorified pool boy.
00:12:41.000 So sorry.
00:12:42.000 So gay.
00:12:44.000 Hey.
00:12:44.000 Come on.
00:12:45.000 Hey.
00:12:46.000 If you have a mug club, okay?
00:12:48.000 You have a mug club.
00:12:49.000 There it is.
00:12:49.000 Hold it up.
00:12:50.000 There it is.
00:12:51.000 You have a mug club.
00:12:52.000 And I have a mug club.
00:12:54.000 And I have a straw.
00:12:56.000 There it is.
00:12:57.000 See the straw?
00:12:57.000 Now watch.
00:12:59.000 See the straw?
00:13:01.000 And my straw reaches across the room and it starts to drink your mug club.
00:13:15.000 I drink your mug club!
00:13:18.000 I drink it up!
00:13:21.000 Wait, what the hell does that even mean?
00:13:27.000 I'm finished!
00:13:29.000 Remember, none of this is possible without you.

00:15:47.000 I'm just trying to get a real answer because they never give a real answer.
00:15:54.000 You'll see the authorities, people who are supposed to look out for you, instead, they're running interference for them.
00:16:00.000 23 years, it's a little more severe than being let out with a $50 bail.
00:16:04.000 We will never surrender our sources.
00:16:06.000 We will never compromise on the truth.
00:16:08.000 And our pursuit of those who live in the shadows of evil will never, ever stop.
00:16:14.000 Our eyes and ears are everywhere.
00:16:17.000 We are many.
00:16:18.000 We are among you.
00:16:20.000 Among you, we are you. We are nothing. Unh-huh.
00:16:25.000 Oh, yeah.
00:16:28.000 Yeah.
00:17:07.000 Oh Ah!
00:17:09.000 This is a disaster!
00:17:10.000 Hey, glad to be with you.
00:17:12.000 I have a pinched nerve in my neck so you'll notice everything has been moved over because I was having to pull a trump with a cup of water and move my hand with my other hand.
00:17:22.000 And I just spilled a bunch of water kicking it over.
00:17:23.000 Glad to be with you!
00:17:25.000 Working with a stroke victim.
00:17:26.000 That's like the Jerry Lewis telethon.
00:17:29.000 I'm one of the kids.
00:17:30.000 Yeah.
00:17:31.000 Ha ha.
00:17:32.000 I know, but they, you know.
00:18:00.000 Used to.
00:18:01.000 He's alive in your hearts, just like these debate streams.
00:18:05.000 These are always fun, and by that I mean they're not.
00:18:06.000 But!
00:18:07.000 We make them fun as best we can.
00:18:09.000 Right now you can use the hashtag CrowderDebateStream or is it CrowderDebateNight?
00:18:13.000 Sorry.
00:18:14.000 CrowderDebateNight.
00:18:15.000 We have a drinking game that you can play along with tonight.
00:18:18.000 Bring up the drinking game rules.
00:18:20.000 Alright, you drink and you'll hear this.
00:18:22.000 Anytime someone says I stand with Israel or Ukraine.
00:18:25.000 Anytime Chris Christie acts tough.
00:18:27.000 Anytime someone says that they can but Trump can't win a general election.
00:18:32.000 Anytime there's an Indian catfight between Vivek and Haley, or at least a portion of her.
00:18:35.000 I didn't know she was Indian.
00:18:36.000 Anytime a candidate mentions their home state, and you have to finish your drink, anytime someone says Biden isn't running, or if the Nashville Manifesto is mentioned, which I don't think it will be.
00:18:48.000 I have, you know, some ideas about it.
00:18:51.000 Maybe Vivek will.
00:18:52.000 Vivek, like, you know.
00:18:53.000 Vivek, I'm sorry.
00:18:54.000 Cake like cake.
00:18:55.000 And we're going to get into our predictions, what happened last night with the election.
00:18:58.000 But before that, look, there's still the promo code undercover.
00:19:01.000 Right now, if you go and join Mug Club, lightearthcrowder.com slash Mug Club, because of what happened this week with the Nashville Manifesto.
00:19:07.000 And I want to clarify a few things.
00:19:09.000 There have been some rumors out there.
00:19:11.000 Look, no source was paid for this story, and our source is still safe, has not been relieved of duty or fired.
00:19:20.000 Just to be clear.
00:19:20.000 Those rumors have been circulating.
00:19:21.000 There have been seven officers allegedly, or on administrative leave, in the Metro Nashville Police.
00:19:29.000 Our source is fine.
00:19:31.000 Not one of them.
00:19:32.000 Could be penniless because we didn't pay them, but fine.
00:19:35.000 We will go to jail to protect our sources.
00:19:37.000 Where do people get these rumors?
00:19:38.000 Well, I just don't want, you know, when people go out and they report irresponsibly, it can intimidate whistleblowers into silence and we have whistleblowers at the highest levels of government right now.
00:19:46.000 Right.
00:19:47.000 So, continue to send in your tips at LWCTipsAtProtonMail.com.
00:19:52.000 My question to you, as well as what do you think the topics will be tonight?
00:19:56.000 We think it's going to be foreign policy.
00:19:58.000 Yeah.
00:19:59.000 And what do you think is an important topic that should be, but won't be discussed tonight?
00:20:02.000 Alright, I'm thinking, is there anything else I need to mention?
00:20:04.000 Oh, Alex Jones will be here for the postgame.
00:20:05.000 Yeah!
00:20:06.000 Post-debate wrap-up with Alex Jones.
00:20:07.000 We debated having him in this chair, but...
00:20:10.000 You know, it's like you have to MC this, where you have to stretch it, shorten it, and Alex is always a headlining actor.
00:20:17.000 You know, I love that Vivek put it that way, because if I can just for a minute, just discuss this for a minute.
00:20:22.000 It's like, you mean ten minutes and you can't?
00:20:23.000 Two hours later, yeah, exactly.
00:20:25.000 Because he's brilliant.
00:20:26.000 He's brilliant, but he's sometimes a solo act.
00:20:28.000 He's perfect for the wrap-up, or he will catch.
00:20:30.000 He gets a second win at 9 o'clock in the evening, he said, so I'm like, oh boy, that's going to be right around the time.
00:20:35.000 He gets that win right after he comes out of the men's gym.
00:20:38.000 Well, I tell you what, there's no cleaner place to go than Bucky's, so the man does know how to pick his restrooms wisely.
00:20:47.000 And even though he's dead, George Michael will live in our hearts forever.
00:20:49.000 Number two in command, CEO, Gerald Morgan.
00:20:52.000 How are you, sir?
00:20:52.000 I'm doing well.
00:20:53.000 I'm sorry your neck.
00:20:54.000 We were going through kind of a run through to mock up everything and make sure we were ready to go and you're like, I can't lift my arm.
00:21:00.000 I know.
00:21:00.000 Well, that's going to be tough.
00:21:01.000 And it's a pinched nerve.
00:21:02.000 And I know our sponsor, CB Distillery, you know, don't indict them because I literally have a ruptured disc in my neck and pinched a nerve.
00:21:09.000 Their stuff is great, but it won't.
00:21:11.000 You did rub it on me.
00:21:12.000 No homo.
00:21:13.000 You rubbed it on me and then Nick rubbed my neck.
00:21:15.000 No, hold on.
00:21:16.000 It wasn't even a request.
00:21:17.000 Well, Nick just walked in and was like, hold on, it's my turn.
00:21:19.000 He has strong Sicilian hands.
00:21:22.000 It's two Nicks here, you mean that?
00:21:24.000 Al Gore would be so lucky to have a masseuse as handsy as Nick.
00:21:31.000 The love of my sister.
00:21:32.000 Oh boy.
00:21:34.000 Gee Willikers.
00:21:34.000 For the love of Pete, I was going to say.
00:21:37.000 For the love of Pete, right?
00:21:39.000 I know.
00:21:39.000 Man of Pluff.
00:21:41.000 We all kill Pete with kindness.
00:21:43.000 You can watch... Do we have his intro music, I guess?
00:21:46.000 I guess we have it.
00:21:47.000 Yeah, his show on Mug Club, you get it Monday through Thursday at 5 p.m.
00:21:52.000 Eastern.
00:21:52.000 The funniest comic alive.
00:21:54.000 The funniest man alive.
00:21:55.000 He is the guy who everyone in the industry says, that's the guy.
00:21:57.000 Nick DiPaolo, how are you, sir?
00:21:59.000 Could you play my theme a little lower?
00:21:59.000 I'm traumatic.
00:22:01.000 Jesus Christ, would you like me?
00:22:02.000 He just, you know, because you can't hear because you don't have headphones on.
00:22:05.000 Yeah, it was louder in my ears.
00:22:06.000 That's a good point.
00:22:07.000 Anyways.
00:22:09.000 Who is right now?
00:22:10.000 Let's bring this up right now.
00:22:11.000 Is this... That's Romney's... I was going to say, she looks almost like she's more Botox than human.
00:22:17.000 Yeah, that's the person who got their butt kicked last night because they didn't have great strategy across the country.
00:22:21.000 Well, what do you expect when you assign it to walking botulism?
00:22:27.000 So, what are your predictions really quickly?
00:22:29.000 And, Gerald, you tell me what we want to get to.
00:22:31.000 Again, it's Crowder Debate Night.
00:22:33.000 The drinking games are going to be going on all night, and we have some... So, really quickly, we will be going to Donald Trump's speech, his rally in Hialeah.
00:22:40.000 That's right.
00:22:41.000 It's just down the road.
00:22:42.000 I think it's ten minutes away.
00:22:43.000 I don't know if he's actually on stage right now speaking, but just so you know... He is not.
00:22:46.000 We'll be going to it when he does, so we'll be kind of cutting back and forth, and also if there are, like, epic mic drop moments from Donald Trump, which there typically are, then we'll have those, we'll clip those, we'll bring them in.
00:22:55.000 You don't have to go anywhere to watch anything else, we'll have both for you tonight.
00:22:58.000 We'll have some wrap-ups, so what has happened since the last debate as well.
00:23:02.000 our predictions obviously which we're talking about right now. I think foreign policy because of
00:23:05.000 everything that's happened the world is a very different place than it was when they had the
00:23:09.000 last debate and you can't walk into the White House in 2024 and I'm sorry technically in 2025
00:23:16.000 you can't walk in and get anywhere without understanding what's going on in the world
00:23:20.000 and having a good plan for keeping the United States out of a broad war right.
00:23:24.000 World War III or whatever other conflict we could get into.
00:23:27.000 So you've got to be really sharp on this, and so I think right now we're going to see a contrast between people who want to keep us out of war and do it reasonably, not like an isolationist, and you'll see some people who are a little bit more hawkish.
00:23:38.000 So Vivek versus pretty much everybody on the stage.
00:23:40.000 Yes, exactly.
00:23:41.000 They'll be He's saying he has no experience.
00:23:43.000 He'll be saying you all want to go to war.
00:23:44.000 He was a little pissed too when he was talking to me.
00:23:46.000 He was like, I'm a little fired up about how badly we performed last night and also what we are doing.
00:23:51.000 We're sleepwalking into a war and the Republicans are not doing a very good job of handling this.
00:23:55.000 What do you think there Nick?
00:23:56.000 Well, it's going to be a foreign policy because Dickhead has us on the brink of... And that's the strategy, not to get into World War II, is to get Dickhead out of there.
00:24:05.000 It's commander in, uh, that word.
00:24:07.000 Commander Dickhead.
00:24:08.000 Yes, commander.
00:24:09.000 And we do that not a week from now, we do it fucking tomorrow!
00:24:12.000 We'll also allow Dickhead in Chief.
00:24:14.000 Dickhead in Chief.
00:24:15.000 We'll go with either of the above.
00:24:16.000 We have to respect the office.
00:24:18.000 And I think they'll be talking about too many flags in the NFL.
00:24:21.000 Is it Breast Cancer Awareness Month?
00:24:24.000 I don't want to be wearing pink.
00:24:25.000 No, honestly.
00:24:26.000 But anyways.
00:24:27.000 And Vivek, again, that was my boy.
00:24:30.000 But I think it was Jimmy Brewer who sent me a text a couple months ago saying, you better do homework on your boy.
00:24:36.000 I think it was Brewer.
00:24:37.000 I'm not sure.
00:24:37.000 There was no name on it.
00:24:38.000 But it was Long Island.
00:24:39.000 Did he write out?
00:24:44.000 No, but he said, you know, and there was a clip of Yvette using like three, no, like five phrases that Obama used when he was running for president.
00:24:50.000 It did make me scratch my head.
00:24:52.000 I don't worry about that.
00:24:53.000 Brewer just is very mistrusting, and that's a good thing.
00:24:56.000 It's a good thing to have someone like that who questions everything.
00:24:57.000 Everybody but his dealer.
00:24:58.000 Everyone, is there a train sealed?
00:25:05.000 That sounds about right.
00:25:07.000 I don't know.
00:25:08.000 I need something for my neck.
00:25:09.000 How about a hatchet?
00:25:13.000 Oh, don't talk about Nikki Haley that way.
00:25:15.000 Now, we have, it's a wound, now let's go, actually this is a good time to, someone help me!
00:25:20.000 Let's get out of this and recap what happened since the last debate.
00:25:23.000 I believe we have a montage of kind of what happened politically since the last debate, and then after that we have what's happened with Donald Trump since the last debate.
00:25:31.000 Since he looms over these people like, that's what they should call him, the shadow.
00:25:36.000 Donald Trump continuing to lead overwhelmingly here.
00:25:40.000 Notably, DeSantis, who's been running in second all year, now joined by Nikki Haley in second place.
00:25:45.000 Governor Ron DeSantis is getting a lot of bad campaign news this week.
00:25:49.000 Not only is he losing out on endorsements, he's getting bad poll numbers, he's also taking heat for his footwear.
00:25:56.000 For you to wear, okay, I shop at Ferragamo, okay?
00:26:05.000 I don't accept gifts, I can't accept it.
00:26:07.000 I mean, let's face it, Donald Trump is political and electoral poison.
00:26:12.000 Down ballot.
00:26:14.000 What a shock, you're for Trump.
00:26:16.000 I'm gonna fall over dead.
00:26:18.000 Your arguments are so great, and mine are so bad.
00:26:20.000 Stick a butt in ya aorta.
00:26:22.000 Tell me shit.
00:26:24.000 This guy reviles Republican voters.
00:26:25.000 I fucking hate this guy.
00:26:26.000 The truth will set you free!
00:26:28.000 What, are we cut to a Waffle House?
00:26:34.000 Isn't it time for people like Tim Scott to drop out?
00:26:36.000 Aren't they just wasting time at this point?
00:26:37.000 Who said that?
00:26:39.000 Yeah, you want to tell him that?
00:26:41.000 I think I just did.
00:26:42.000 Hallelujah!
00:26:43.000 Are we doing Tyler Perry quotes?
00:26:46.000 Yeah, what was that about?
00:26:48.000 Do we fund Israel or do we fund Ukraine?
00:26:51.000 No.
00:26:51.000 Don't get involved in that.
00:26:54.000 She's a child and this is the tantrum of a child.
00:26:56.000 Ignorant, cocksure, bloodthirsty.
00:26:59.000 I came here to say it's become clear to me Really?
00:27:03.000 This is not my time.
00:27:07.000 It'll be your time when you're 90.
00:27:12.000 You have been forgotten.
00:27:15.000 So that happened, right?
00:27:17.000 We had the debates, we had a lot going on.
00:27:18.000 I feel like I know this person right here on NBC.
00:27:22.000 Who, that woman?
00:27:22.000 That reporter, but I don't want to speak out of turn because I think I know that person.
00:27:26.000 I know who she is.
00:27:28.000 I swear to God.
00:27:30.000 She's familiar, right?
00:27:31.000 Yeah, she served us at the IHOP last time I was here.
00:27:34.000 And she wouldn't give me the blueberry syrup.
00:27:35.000 I don't want the current berry syrup.
00:27:37.000 I want the blueberry syrup.
00:27:39.000 Let's go to Donald Trump, what he has done, right, since the last debate.
00:27:43.000 This is what we have.
00:27:44.000 It's a scam.
00:27:45.000 It's a sham.
00:27:47.000 Just so you know, my financial statements are phenomenal.
00:27:49.000 Federal Judge Tanya Chutkan left the bench, came back, ruled that Mr. Trump cannot make or repost statements attacking the special counsel, Jack Smith, his staff, or family, or Judge Chutkan's staff.
00:28:00.000 This is not my time.
00:28:02.000 I chose him, made him Vice President, but people in politics can be very disloyal.
00:28:07.000 I've never seen anything like it.
00:28:09.000 A vote for President Trump is a vote to secure the border, and it's a vote to keep radical Islamic terrorists the hell out of our country.
00:28:16.000 Or find his way off the stage.
00:28:18.000 He can't find his way off the stage.
00:28:20.000 This is a scam.
00:28:21.000 And this is a case that should have never been brought.
00:28:24.000 what happened today the New York Times and CBS came out with a poll that I'm
00:28:28.000 leading all over the place. This is a scam and this is a case that should have never been brought.
00:28:33.000 A new CBS News poll shows that 34% of Republican primary voters say the legal
00:28:39.000 challenges he faces make them think better of him.
00:28:42.000 Yeah and by the way we're going to go back to those polls because they have to
00:28:45.000 change the polls to try and make it seem like there's any silver lining for Joe Biden right now.
00:28:50.000 I want to, before we do that, kind of give you a recap from last night.
00:28:52.000 Now look, this is something...
00:28:54.000 People are really irresponsible out there where you have a lot of GOP voters who think that everything is rigged, so why go out and vote?
00:29:00.000 A lot of people stayed home.
00:29:02.000 Now a lot of people are applying that to a national election, but they really don't add up.
00:29:06.000 As a matter of fact, the recent polls from the New York Times are surprising as it relates to a national election.
00:29:09.000 Let me kind of give you a recap of what happened last night, and you guys can comment below, hit the like button because it helps with the algorithm.
00:29:15.000 A lot of the elections that were held yesterday, they didn't go as well as people were hoping for.
00:29:21.000 I believe, do we have a brief, let's go to clip election day, but there's some context here that is missing a little bit and there are some wins that the media doesn't want you to know about.
00:29:30.000 Well, Election Day 2023 results are in, and Democrats scored big in some key races.
00:29:35.000 Notable wins include Ohio, which voted to enshrine abortion rights at the state level, Virginia, where Democrats will now control both the state and Senate and House of Delegates, and in Kentucky, where Democratic Governor Andy Beshear has was re-elected to a second term. President Biden
00:29:55.000 weighed in on the victory saying quote Americans once again voted to protect their fundamental
00:30:00.000 freedoms and democracy won.
00:30:01.000 He weighed in with his frail bird bones.
00:30:03.000 So let me give you the bad okay so the bad obviously you know what happened in Ohio with
00:30:08.000 the uh the abortion protection okay.
00:30:10.000 You know that the Kentucky governor, obviously, Democrat, was elected there.
00:30:15.000 You probably know that they won, like she just said, both houses of the Virginia State Legislature.
00:30:19.000 Here's something else that's pretty interesting.
00:30:20.000 In Pennsylvania, votes were being flipped due to a coding error in a judge's race.
00:30:24.000 Now that can't possibly be that voting machines could be Compromise.
00:30:29.000 Could be just not good.
00:30:31.000 Hey, before we get into the idea that Chavez is rigged, they just may not be all that good.
00:30:35.000 Go and watch Kill Chain on HBO where they hacked it in a governor race.
00:30:38.000 But here's something that you may not know is, you know, the abortion, when people talk about it, they say, oh, so it must be a losing issue period.
00:30:43.000 Conservatives were outspent two to one.
00:30:45.000 What happens is after Roe v. Wade was overturned, they didn't know what to do with it, and they don't have very clear messaging.
00:30:50.000 Here are some wins, though, that people may not necessarily know about.
00:30:53.000 The Virginia delegate candidate, who, by the way, performed sex acts on Chatterbait, lost.
00:30:57.000 So that's a good thing.
00:30:59.000 I think, yeah, that's overlay F5 there, Matt.
00:31:01.000 I know I'm bouncing all around.
00:31:02.000 Republicans gained a seat in the New York City Council in the Bronx.
00:31:06.000 There you go!
00:31:08.000 AOC's from there.
00:31:10.000 And then the GOP now controls all of Long Island.
00:31:13.000 So, you know, hey, think about it.
00:31:15.000 That means the GOP, they're probably gaining with the Jew vote.
00:31:20.000 That's where I was headed.
00:31:21.000 You beat me to it.
00:31:23.000 I'm sorry.
00:31:24.000 No, I'm sad.
00:31:24.000 I should have laid it up for you.
00:31:25.000 The look on Nick's face.
00:31:26.000 No, no.
00:31:26.000 We don't do that shit.
00:31:27.000 They did well with the schnoz bones.
00:31:30.000 Italian and Jewish.
00:31:31.000 Yes, exactly.
00:31:32.000 What kind of people are these, Henry?
00:31:34.000 You do, you have a nice strong Roman nose.
00:31:36.000 You do, he has a nice strong Roman nose.
00:31:37.000 I do, I have a Roman nose.
00:31:38.000 He has a Roman nose.
00:31:39.000 My mom loves, that's what she's like, you know what I like in a man?
00:31:41.000 I like a strong Roman nose.
00:31:43.000 I like a Roman around my ass.
00:31:44.000 Really?
00:31:45.000 That's my mother!
00:31:47.000 Oh, you said your mother?
00:31:48.000 I thought you said your brother, I'm sorry.
00:31:50.000 Don't make me laugh too hard, my neck hurts.
00:31:54.000 It hurts.
00:31:55.000 I can feel the bones oscillating.
00:31:57.000 The Michigan House of Representatives, it's now evenly divided, right?
00:32:02.000 So that's pretty good.
00:32:03.000 That's good.
00:32:04.000 You have, for Michigan, you take that as a win, considering that, you know, the lady who runs that state, her stocking should roll up under a flying house.
00:32:09.000 We have the GOP Governor of Mississippi won, versus the distant cousin of Elvis Presley, so that's good.
00:32:15.000 If you're excited about a Republican win in Mississippi, it's a fuckin' bad night.
00:32:18.000 Well, I mean, it should happen.
00:32:20.000 Well, you never know.
00:32:21.000 They're still hanging people down there.
00:32:22.000 But this doesn't compute with what we're seeing with Donald Trump.
00:32:25.000 So New York Times just had a new poll come out.
00:32:27.000 Very different than the national election.
00:32:28.000 And this also comes down to the people running the GOP.
00:32:30.000 They're not being galvanized.
00:32:32.000 New York Times, in the general election, Donald Trump beats Joe Biden, just to be clear.
00:32:38.000 By, well I don't know if they have, this is New York Times, 1.4% in a national election.
00:32:42.000 That's within the margin of error.
00:32:43.000 Now this time in the 2020 election, Biden was winning by 10% in the polls.
00:32:47.000 Meaning at this point in time, November, when you're looking at that point in the election cycle.
00:32:51.000 2016 election had Hillary winning by 2.2.
00:32:53.000 So that is a huge swing.
00:32:55.000 Yeah.
00:32:55.000 Then Donald Trump is leading in swing states.
00:32:59.000 Big time.
00:32:59.000 Big time.
00:33:00.000 And we were surprised by this.
00:33:01.000 Apples to apples comparison.
00:33:03.000 And by the way, just for everybody watching, we've got about a minute and ten seconds until... Yes, okay, so let me hit this really quickly.
00:33:07.000 Trump is leading Biden 5 in the critical swing states.
00:33:12.000 Nevada, he's leading Biden, Donald Trump, by 11 percent.
00:33:15.000 We have them in 2019, Biden was up 3.6 percent.
00:33:18.000 In Georgia, Trump's winning by 6 percent.
00:33:21.000 In 2019, the RCP average had Biden up 4%.
00:33:23.000 In Arizona, Donald Trump is up 5%.
00:33:26.000 The same New York Times poll in 2019 had Biden up 3%.
00:33:29.000 Michigan, Trump is up 5.
00:33:31.000 New York Times in 2019 had Biden up plus 1.
00:33:34.000 Pennsylvania, Donald Trump is plus 4.
00:33:36.000 New York Times had him in 2019 down by 1 to Biden.
00:33:40.000 Then you have Wisconsin.
00:33:42.000 Surprisingly, Biden is up two, which surprised me compared to Michigan, but if you look at the New York Times, they had him up by two as well.
00:33:49.000 Same time at this point in 2019.
00:33:52.000 Yeah, which surprised me considering Scott Walker and all of that.
00:33:55.000 This is also something, if you look at his polling with black people, he's bringing in 22% of the black vote right now, the most in any modern GOP history.
00:34:02.000 Biden is only leading Donald Trump, according to the New York Times and recent polls, with people under the age of 30 by single digits, by 1%.
00:34:10.000 He's only leading Donald Trump with Hispanics by 8%.
00:34:13.000 Single digits.
00:34:14.000 This is something that we have never seen before, and that's the difference between a national election and someone who overcomes that enthusiasm gap.
00:34:21.000 So we can get back to it, but do we want to watch the intro right now?
00:34:24.000 Yeah, let's watch the intro, let everybody get into the debate, and then I'll come back and tell you how those polls even got worse.
00:34:29.000 They narrowed dramatically.
00:34:30.000 Not excited about any of what you just read.
00:34:32.000 It's going to be really, really good for Trump based on what we know.
00:34:35.000 You should be excited about it because we're doing better.
00:34:37.000 Considering the idiot in office and the shape this country's in, those should be twice that gap swing.
00:34:45.000 But anyways, go ahead.
00:34:46.000 I didn't mean to spoil your whole day like that.
00:34:48.000 I don't believe any of those frickin' numbers.
00:34:50.000 Okay, but let's go to the intro now so we can be bored with that.
00:34:57.000 The candidates are here.
00:34:59.000 Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
00:35:01.000 Get used to it.
00:35:02.000 Former U.N.
00:35:02.000 Ambassador Nikki Haley.
00:35:04.000 Entrepreneurial businesswoman.
00:35:06.000 America's favorite Indiometer.
00:35:08.000 Chris Christie.
00:35:09.000 The token fat guy.
00:35:10.000 South Carolina Senator.
00:35:11.000 The token black guy.
00:35:13.000 From NBC News.
00:35:15.000 Nikki Haley.
00:35:16.000 She's cute, but she's a bitch.
00:35:18.000 Live from the Economics Center in Miami, Florida.
00:35:24.000 Hold on, her cat fight with Vivek over who's more Indian.
00:35:27.000 Do the cat sounds and I'll give you a little... That's what it'll sound like.
00:35:38.000 All right, let's watch them introduce Lester Holt.
00:35:40.000 What is that guy?
00:35:41.000 How is NBC involved with this?
00:35:42.000 I put a headline yesterday.
00:35:43.000 Good evening, I'm Kristen Welker, moderator of NBC's Meet the Press.
00:35:47.000 Hello, I'm Hugh Hewitt, host of Saturday's Hugh Hewitt Show.
00:35:51.000 We are now just 68 days from the Iowa caucuses when Republican primary voters will begin to determine their party's nominee for president.
00:36:00.000 Tonight we'll question five candidates seeking that nomination and how they're best prepared to be commander-in-chief.
00:36:06.000 Lester Holt looks like a cartoon of Lester Holt.
00:36:07.000 Yeah, he does, yeah.
00:36:08.000 He used to be a Republican, I said.
00:36:09.000 How would you know?
00:36:11.000 Again, use the hashtag CrowderDebateNight.
00:36:12.000 Sorry, it's CrowderGOPDebate is what it says?
00:36:14.000 Did they just change it?
00:36:16.000 voters. Can I have one minute and 30 seconds for answers and the opportunity for a closing statement.
00:36:21.000 Again, use the hashtag CrowderDebateNight. Or sorry, it's CrowderGOPDebate is what it says?
00:36:26.000 CrowderGOP. Did they just change it? I had CrowderDebateNight.
00:36:29.000 You sons of bitches, you hung me out the truck.
00:36:32.000 The promo code UNDERCOVER.
00:36:33.000 If you want to see more of what we did with the National Manifesto, that's still the same.
00:36:36.000 You get $10 off to join Mug Club.
00:36:39.000 Hey, it's Indian Jimmy Neutron.
00:36:40.000 What are we all looking down at?
00:36:44.000 He just looked like he was trying to... Why isn't she making sandwiches like she was supposed to?
00:36:47.000 He looked like he was doing an Al Pacino face, Ron DeSantis.
00:36:49.000 that you should not have a lot of additional questions and to our audience
00:36:55.000 i don't like to be a leader of the alliance that has had to be heard
00:36:59.000 with a sense of the debate you
00:37:02.000 Alright, our first question, the opening question is one for all of you.
00:37:06.000 Donald Trump is the first ex-president in more than 100 years to run for the White House again.
00:37:12.000 And he remains popular among Republican primary voters as his legal challenges mount.
00:37:17.000 Governor DeSantis, let me begin with you on this one.
00:37:20.000 And to Republican voters who are supporting Donald Trump, why should you and not him be the Republican nominee to face Joe Biden?
00:37:28.000 Did they add from?
00:37:29.000 I know.
00:37:29.000 I know.
00:37:30.000 This country is in trouble.
00:37:31.000 And the elites that have put us here, they don't care about you.
00:37:35.000 They don't care that you're having to grapple with higher grocery prices or have higher
00:37:39.000 gas prices.
00:37:40.000 They don't care that your family's less secure because of the open border that's allowed
00:37:44.000 drugs and even terrorists to come into this country.
00:37:46.000 Well, I care.
00:37:48.000 I am not going to sit idly by and let this country continue its downward spiral.
00:37:53.000 We need leadership and we need it now.
00:37:55.000 I'll take the hits.
00:37:56.000 He's reading Trump's script.
00:37:57.000 Well, we know your tie is speaking pretty loudly.
00:37:59.000 That thing is vibrating like crazy.
00:38:00.000 It's about me. It's about you. I will fight for you. I will make sure to lead this country's revival.
00:38:08.000 I will win for you and your family. Actions speak louder than words. We don't have time for excuses.
00:38:14.000 Your tie is speaking pretty loudly. That thing is vibrating like crazy.
00:38:17.000 You didn't answer the question.
00:38:19.000 I like him, but this is an opening statement.
00:38:20.000 That's right.
00:38:21.000 Answer the question.
00:38:21.000 No he doesn't.
00:38:22.000 we were in 2016.
00:38:23.000 Answer the question.
00:38:24.000 Donald Trump's a lot different guy than he was in 2016.
00:38:27.000 He owes it to you to be on this stage.
00:38:29.000 No, he doesn't.
00:38:30.000 Explain why he should get another chance.
00:38:33.000 Wrong.
00:38:34.000 He should explain why he didn't have Mexico pay for the border wall.
00:38:37.000 He should explain why he racked up so much debt.
00:38:41.000 He had a meeting with some people, they said you're not doing very well, this is your last shot, you really need to make your mark.
00:38:46.000 This is the first time we've seen DeSantis come out on this level of attack to Donald Trump.
00:38:50.000 He had a meeting with some people. They said you're not doing very well.
00:38:53.000 This is your last shot. You really need to make your mark.
00:38:56.000 I don't think that this is well advised.
00:38:57.000 Miami-Dade County, that's how we have to do it.
00:39:00.000 So I promise you this, as the nominee, next November I'll get the job done, and as president, I will deliver for you.
00:39:06.000 Let me turn to Ambassador Haley.
00:39:10.000 Why you and not the former president?
00:39:15.000 Well, I think you look at the fact that we're almost $34 trillion in debt.
00:39:19.000 50% of American families can't afford diapers.
00:39:25.000 1 in 6 American families can't pay their utility bills.
00:39:29.000 You have parents who are worried about what's being said or taught to their child in the classroom.
00:39:34.000 There's no transparency.
00:39:36.000 We have anti-Semitism all over our college campuses, and students feel unsafe.
00:39:42.000 You've got an open border where terrorists can come through, and we've got war happening all over us.
00:39:47.000 Nick, you're out of copy.
00:39:51.000 Well, I can talk about President Trump.
00:39:53.000 I can tell you that I think he was the right president at the right time.
00:39:57.000 I don't think he's the right president now.
00:39:59.000 I think that he put us $8 trillion in debt, and our kids are never going to forgive us for that.
00:40:04.000 I think the fact that he used to be right on Ukraine and foreign issues, now he's getting weak in the knees and trying to be friendly again.
00:40:12.000 I think that we've got to go back to the fact that we can't live in the past.
00:40:15.000 We can't live in other headlines.
00:40:18.000 We've got to start focusing on what's going to make America strong and proud.
00:40:22.000 Do you mean like the greatest economy modern America has ever seen?
00:40:26.000 This is the problem with attacking Trump.
00:40:27.000 I get that Trump, they say, okay, lost an election and we can get into how that happened and the cannery afoot.
00:40:32.000 But let's talk about the fact that it was the greatest economy that we have seen in modern American history, that the public sector jobs were actually, for the first time in our life, Donald Trump shrunk them by 3,000 compared.
00:40:42.000 We'll have these numbers side by side with Joe Biden because they're trying to tout his latest jobs report, which they have to inflate up.
00:40:47.000 How about the fact that there were no major new wars?
00:40:49.000 This is the fundamental problem.
00:40:50.000 You guys can comment below and let me know if you disagree in attacking Donald Trump when people, not even Republicans, you're looking at right now the approval among black Americans, Hispanics, people under 30, they know They don't have a leg to stand on if they say the economy is better off right now under Biden or that we are better off with our international relationships under Biden.
00:41:08.000 They know it's not true, so attacking Trump just is ill-advised.
00:41:11.000 I want to see what Johnny Quest's psychic here has to say.
00:41:14.000 I think there's something deeper going on in the Republican Party here.
00:41:17.000 And I am upset about what happened last night.
00:41:20.000 We've become a party of losers at the end of the day.
00:41:23.000 We're a cancer to the Republican establishment.
00:41:26.000 Let's speak the truth.
00:41:27.000 I mean, since Ronald McDaniel took over as chairwoman of the RNC in 2017, we have lost 2018, 2020, 2022, no red wave that never came.
00:41:32.000 We got trounced last night in 2023.
00:41:34.000 2022 no red wave that never came we got trounced last night in
00:41:37.000 2023 and I think that we have to have accountability This is a race to the negative.
00:41:43.000 Love it.
00:41:43.000 matter Ron if you want to come on stage tonight you want to look the GOP voters
00:41:46.000 in the eye and tell them you resign I will turn over my yield my time to you
00:41:50.000 and frankly look the people that are cheering for Lovett in the Republican
00:41:54.000 Party this is a race to the negative love it Santa's like the country sucks
00:41:58.000 this president sucks everything sucks and him he just he's like ah we're all
00:42:02.000 losers I've never seen this.
00:42:05.000 We need more people into our party.
00:42:06.000 Getting the Democrats and we've got Christopher Walker here.
00:42:07.000 Right.
00:42:07.000 and we've got crystal ball for you.
00:42:09.000 Shining city on a hill?
00:42:10.000 SCREW THE SHINING CITY ON A HILL!
00:42:12.000 WE SUCK!
00:42:13.000 WE SUCK!
00:42:14.000 But how do you lose?
00:42:15.000 I know those are local races and a lot of shit.
00:42:18.000 How do you lose when the condition, I mean the Dems have had the White House for four years.
00:42:24.000 I know.
00:42:25.000 The country, the conditions, how do you lose at any level?
00:42:27.000 It's the spending and of course the GOP, but I do want to hear the rest of the VEC.
00:42:30.000 Talk about radio check.
00:42:31.000 Answer the question, go!
00:42:35.000 Wait, what did he say?
00:42:37.000 Answer the question.
00:42:38.000 Can someone send us some mission control?
00:42:40.000 We were having too much fun.
00:42:41.000 That's a Mike Druck moment if I've ever heard one, but I'm not finishing my drink.
00:42:41.000 I'm sorry.
00:42:44.000 Hold on, let's see what he said.
00:42:45.000 top story.
00:42:46.000 And they're going to rig this election up against the accountability of the attorney
00:42:47.000 governor.
00:42:48.000 Shut up, Lester.
00:42:49.000 That's a Mike Druck moment, if I've ever heard one, but I'm not finishing my drink.
00:42:54.000 He was pissed when we interviewed him.
00:42:55.000 Hold on, let's see what he said.
00:42:56.000 He was feeling.
00:42:57.000 The candidate speaking, Governor Christie, why you and Paul Berkman?
00:42:58.000 I thought he was going to call him on the election stuff.
00:43:01.000 Well, Lester, look, you said it at the beginning of the debate.
00:43:08.000 We are dealing with extraordinarily important issues facing this country right now.
00:43:14.000 We have our greatest ally in the Middle East under fire from a terrorist group that has committed to wiping them and every Jewish person in this world off the map.
00:43:26.000 We have Ukraine with Vladimir Putin, a communist KGB dictator.
00:43:33.000 Oh drink, I stand with Ukraine and Israel.
00:43:35.000 How boring is he compared to Vivek coming out fighting?
00:43:39.000 He's my boy.
00:43:39.000 We have inflation in this country that is choking.
00:43:45.000 Choking every American family that wants to try and rise up.
00:43:48.000 I'm up to the last loop.
00:43:49.000 I have to use a bobby pin to make a new one.
00:43:54.000 We need to decide.
00:43:54.000 Which president do you want to tackle the big issues?
00:43:58.000 Who's going to make this country look once again, not just inward, but look outward at the world and say, America is the country, the indispensable nation that makes this a safer world.
00:44:12.000 And in a safer world, American innovation, American hard work has always been the thing that has driven our country to greater things.
00:44:20.000 I'm going to be the president.
00:44:21.000 I'll make the world safer.
00:44:22.000 We wish you could say the same for the local buffet.
00:44:24.000 How is he still around?
00:44:25.000 I mean, he's around.
00:44:27.000 Give me the narrator alive.
00:44:28.000 Both!
00:44:28.000 Both!
00:44:29.000 I don't understand.
00:44:34.000 You wonder how does the GOP lose?
00:44:36.000 He's still in because enough people with money are saying Chris Christie should still be in.
00:44:36.000 The leadership.
00:44:40.000 Anyone out there a Chris Christie fan?
00:44:42.000 I've never met you.
00:44:42.000 I've performed to thousands of people around the country.
00:44:45.000 I've never met a Chris Christie fan.
00:44:47.000 I do want to hear Tim Scott because I do like him.
00:44:49.000 He's like Black Tiny Tim.
00:44:50.000 Let's hear it from ET.
00:44:51.000 We need a president and a candidate who will actually help our base solidify and attract independent voters into our party.
00:45:00.000 The Great Opportunity Party is now winning back African American voters and Hispanic voters because we are working on a foundation based on faith.
00:45:10.000 Our nation is facing some deep challenges.
00:45:14.000 It is the loss of faith in this nation that is part of the erosion that we're seeing every single day.
00:45:20.000 It's restoring faith, restoring our Christian values that will help this nation once again become the city on the hill.
00:45:29.000 When Ronald Reagan talked about the city on the hill, he was coming from Matthew 5.
00:45:34.000 When President Lincoln talked about a house divided, that was Mark.
00:45:39.000 Our founding documents speak to the importance of a faith foundation.
00:45:43.000 He is separating himself with more positive messaging.
00:45:43.000 Now this may work.
00:45:46.000 It may work, but what?
00:45:47.000 When Clinton talks about the Shining Hill, he's coming from room 211.
00:45:54.000 Without that focus, not the issues, the policies matter.
00:46:06.000 We have to get back to being a nation that is, in fact, the city on the hill that believes in each other enough for us to fight for that future.
00:46:17.000 Senator Scott, thank you.
00:46:18.000 Thank you.
00:46:19.000 We're going to turn now to the channel...
00:46:20.000 Senator Scott, the American people are bored.
00:46:21.000 We just lost half our audience.
00:46:22.000 A question then from Kristen and Hugh.
00:46:23.000 And Senator Scott, I don't know how this is, but I, Lester Holt, am blacker than you.
00:46:32.000 Next question to you.
00:46:33.000 I want to hear the question.
00:46:34.000 Israeli troops are fighting inside Gaza City with over 200 hostages who remain captive
00:46:41.000 there and civilian casualties...
00:46:43.000 I appreciate that he included the hostages still being captive.
00:46:45.000 That's a key bit of information a lot of people overlook.
00:46:47.000 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu...
00:46:48.000 I've been...
00:46:49.000 Oh, you don't want to hear it.
00:46:50.000 What do you do at this moment, Governor DeSantis?
00:46:52.000 I would be telling Bibi, finish the job once and for all with these butchers.
00:46:58.000 They're terrorists.
00:47:01.000 They're massacring innocent people.
00:47:03.000 They would wipe every Jew off the globe if they could.
00:47:07.000 He cannot live with that threat.
00:47:09.000 Why is it with the Jews?
00:47:10.000 They always say wiping.
00:47:11.000 They're not eradication or extermination.
00:47:14.000 They always use the wiping term.
00:47:15.000 It's got Jews out there.
00:47:16.000 They always say wipe them off.
00:47:16.000 Doesn't that irritate you?
00:47:17.000 Say something else.
00:47:18.000 They would kill all the Jews.
00:47:20.000 They always say wipe Jews.
00:47:22.000 You know, it's like, exterminate the Armenians.
00:47:24.000 You know, Hotel Rwanda was a massacre.
00:47:25.000 It's like, wipe the Jews.
00:47:27.000 What's with the wiping of the Jews?
00:47:28.000 I don't know.
00:47:29.000 Black has been atrocious.
00:47:31.000 We had Floridians that were over there after the attack.
00:47:34.000 He left them stranded.
00:47:35.000 They couldn't get flights out.
00:47:37.000 So I scrambled resources in Florida, I sent planes over to Israel, and I brought back over 700 people to safety.
00:47:45.000 And they were complaining about the drinks not being fucking...
00:47:52.000 There's too much ice in this!
00:47:53.000 I told him no ice, it waters down to scotch!
00:47:55.000 The bathrooms are filthy already!
00:47:57.000 I told him no ice, it waters down to scotch.
00:48:01.000 Still in it!
00:48:02.000 The bathrooms are filthy already.
00:48:04.000 It was!
00:48:10.000 Oh, she thinks this is her shot.
00:48:11.000 She's never met a war she didn't like.
00:48:13.000 Oh, I quoted Mortal Kombat.
00:48:13.000 Oh, she thinks this is her shot. She's never met a war she didn't like.
00:48:16.000 The first thing I said to him when it happened was I said, finish them. Finish them.
00:48:20.000 Oh, I quoted Mortal Kombat.
00:48:22.000 She was talking about the sandwiches she made.
00:48:25.000 And we have to remember that they have to, one, eliminate Hamas.
00:48:30.000 Two, support Israel with whatever they need whenever they need it.
00:48:34.000 And three, make sure we bring our hostages home.
00:48:37.000 We need to be very clear-eyed to know there would be no Hamas without Iran.
00:48:41.000 There would be no Hezbollah without Iran.
00:48:44.000 There would not be the Houthis without Iran.
00:48:46.000 And there wouldn't be the Iranian militias in Syria and Iraq that are trying to hit our military men and women if it hadn't been for Iran.
00:48:54.000 And who is funding Iran right now?
00:48:56.000 China is buying oil from Iran.
00:48:58.000 Russia is getting drones and missiles from Iran.
00:49:01.000 And there is an unholy alliance.
00:49:03.000 We need to be clear-eyed.
00:49:04.000 The last thing we need to do is to tell Israel what to do.
00:49:08.000 I think Vivek's going to go a different direction.
00:49:10.000 I think Vivek's going to go a different direction, but he will clarify that he's not an isolationist.
00:49:14.000 He's been hit enough for that.
00:49:16.000 Nikki Haley is saying exactly what you thought she was going to say.
00:49:19.000 If I were arguing with her, I would call her out on the number.
00:49:22.000 What's the number of dollars and how many American soldiers?
00:49:25.000 Because then she loses.
00:49:28.000 Is there any daylight between you and the candidates we just heard on this issue?
00:49:31.000 On what you would tell the Prime Minister?
00:49:33.000 In terms of what I would tell the Prime Minister, no.
00:49:35.000 In fact, I would go one step further.
00:49:36.000 The founding vision of Israel was based on the idea that they don't want to depend on anybody else's sympathy or direction in defending themselves.
00:49:45.000 So what I would tell Bibi is that Israel has the right and the responsibility Teaching Chong just got a new slogan for their cruise shoes.
00:49:52.000 smoke those terrorists on his southern border and then I'll tell him as
00:49:55.000 president of the United States I'll be smoking the terrorists on our southern
00:49:59.000 border that's his responsibility.
00:50:00.000 Xi Jinping just got a new slogan for their cruise shoes.
00:50:03.000 Smoke the terrorists.
00:50:05.000 I want to be careful to avoid making the mistakes from the neocon establishment of the past.
00:50:08.000 Corrupt politicians in both parties spent trillions, killed millions, made
00:50:13.000 billions for themselves in places like Iraq and Afghanistan fighting wars that
00:50:17.000 sent thousands of our sons and daughters people my age to die in wars that did
00:50:22.000 not advance anyone's interests. Adding seven trillion dollars to our national debt.
00:50:27.000 And Joe Biden sold off our foreign policy.
00:50:30.000 Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, got a $5 million bribe from Ukraine.
00:50:33.000 That's why we're sending $200 billion back to that same country.
00:50:36.000 The fact of the matter is, the Republican Party is not that much better.
00:50:39.000 You have the likes of Nikki Haley, who stepped down from her time at the U.N.
00:50:43.000 bankrupt or in debt.
00:50:45.000 Then she becomes a military contractor, she joins the board of Boeing and otherwise, and is now a multi-millionaire.
00:50:51.000 So I think that that's wrong when Republicans do it or Democrats do it.
00:50:57.000 you're going to be on the board?
00:50:57.000 She is!
00:50:59.000 Or do you want Dick Cheney in three inch heels?
00:51:03.000 Oh!
00:51:04.000 Wow!
00:51:05.000 Oh!
00:51:09.000 She is!
00:51:10.000 She is Dick Cheney in heels though!
00:51:13.000 That would get her elected.
00:51:14.000 Dick Cheney in heels, I think, was going after Ron DeSantis.
00:51:14.000 No, no, no.
00:51:17.000 Because he wears heels, too.
00:51:18.000 Sorry.
00:51:19.000 That would get her elected if she was a guy in heels.
00:51:22.000 Hey, hey.
00:51:23.000 These were BOGO, buddy.
00:51:25.000 These boots were BOGO.
00:51:27.000 Fine.
00:51:27.000 You're frugal.
00:51:28.000 We'll be there with you, we'll stand shoulder to shoulder, there will be no daylight.
00:51:32.000 But I'll change the station a little bit.
00:51:34.000 No daylight unless they adjust the white balance on your shot.
00:51:36.000 I would say to President Biden, diplomacy only is a weak strategy.
00:51:45.000 Appeasement leads to war.
00:51:48.000 From President Obama to President Biden.
00:51:51.000 Obama sent millions to Iran.
00:51:53.000 Frankly, President Biden has sent billions to Iran.
00:51:56.000 That is why I've said that there's blood dripping from the hands of President Obama.
00:52:00.000 One thing that I'm noticing we're not seeing tonight is specifics.
00:52:02.000 Can we bring up, we did this in a previous show, the amount of money that we're giving
00:52:05.000 to the nations collectively who want to wipe Israel off the face of the map?
00:52:09.000 We not only have Iran, we also give money to Hamas when you talk about, I believe we
00:52:12.000 have in there, Libya, Yemen, Jordan.
00:52:14.000 So bring those up so we can add many, many billions to Israel.
00:52:17.000 7 to 10 billion dollars to the countries around them and I think 3 billion to Israel.
00:52:21.000 So people should be specific with that because it's easy to get people to your site if they understand it.
00:52:25.000 There is a less interventionist policy that would actually be a net gain for Israel.
00:52:30.000 They're being very broad tonight.
00:52:32.000 They're not being very specific, and that's kind of the nature of a lot of foreign policy debates, just to be clear, because it's ever-changing, right?
00:52:38.000 These are very, very temporary circumstances, so they don't want to be hung on it.
00:52:43.000 Destroy it.
00:52:44.000 Alright, Senator Scott, thank you.
00:52:46.000 Am I the only one sweating?
00:52:47.000 It does feel hot in here.
00:52:47.000 Is it hot in here?
00:52:50.000 These problems are so big and serious that the first thing I would say to Prime Minister Netanyahu is pretty simple.
00:52:58.000 America is here no matter what it is you need at any time to preserve the State of Israel.
00:53:05.000 Remember that Hamas's main goal is to get rid of Israel.
00:53:09.000 is to get Israel absolutely off the map.
00:53:12.000 Now, there are three things I think I would say to him when he asked for advice.
00:53:16.000 The first, I would say is that B is absolutely your obligation to protect the territorial integrity of Israel.
00:53:24.000 Secondly, to make sure you protect the security of Israel.
00:53:28.000 Because it's our right to be an asshole.
00:53:30.000 One of those things, it creates greater unrest in the entire region.
00:53:35.000 Second, you must go in and make sure that Hamas can never do this again.
00:53:40.000 The fact is that Israel and their intelligence community failed.
00:53:45.000 They failed here, and they failed the people of the State of Israel.
00:53:48.000 And so we need to work closely and better together to make sure, one, that they're degraded, and two, that we know everything that's going on inside the Gaza Strip, when it's going on, so that something like this can't happen to kill 1,400 individuals again.
00:54:02.000 Well, they wouldn't have failed if our country was feeding Iran all this money.
00:54:05.000 Exactly.
00:54:06.000 We continue to isolate Iran, work with the reasonable nations in the Middle East, the other Arab nations who want to partner with you, and make sure that we continue to isolate Iran.
00:54:14.000 That is exactly what is... and I understand the idea of the enemy of my enemy is my friend, or the friend of my friend is my friend, or whatever it is that Chris Christie wants to say, but look, these people...
00:54:26.000 The Hill's like White Christie's.
00:54:28.000 The thing is, that was a short story, but a literary reference.
00:54:32.000 The thing is with Chris Christie, he's talking about what we've done for a very long time.
00:54:35.000 Let's buddy up with these other nations who will then turn on us.
00:54:38.000 Hey, how about we say, we're done with this part of the world.
00:54:41.000 We're not going to be your enemies, but we're not going to be giving you money.
00:54:43.000 I don't care who it is.
00:54:44.000 I don't care if it's Saudi Arabia.
00:54:45.000 I don't care if it's Egypt, because they'll be friendly one point in time, and then add five years, and they're the next asshole superpower.
00:54:52.000 So he is doing what has been done for a very, very long time.
00:54:55.000 That is the GOP establishment when people refer to foreign policy.
00:54:58.000 You can let me know if you disagree.
00:54:58.000 That's the problem.
00:54:59.000 Nikki Haley saying something likely bitchy.
00:55:03.000 Oh, she's got a cheer.
00:55:03.000 What'd she say?
00:55:04.000 She just said, I look good in heels.
00:55:07.000 I wear heels not for a fashion statement, they're for ammunition.
00:55:10.000 What we need to be doing... Oh, what are you hiding?
00:55:13.000 Ammunition.
00:55:14.000 What are you hiding, 50 cows in your 5-inch heels?
00:55:16.000 ...men and women could be targeted... Boy, everybody's got their dander up tonight.
00:55:19.000 They have to.
00:55:20.000 ...almost 100 hits to happen.
00:55:21.000 They have so much dander up, they need Selson Blue.
00:55:24.000 Hey, I'll tell ya, I'll tell ya.
00:55:27.000 Talk about dander.
00:55:28.000 And we shouldn't be doing the tit-for-tat like what Joe Biden's done.
00:55:32.000 We need to go and take out their infrastructure that they are using to make those strikes with so they can never do it again.
00:55:39.000 Iran responds to strength.
00:55:41.000 You punch them hard and they will back off.
00:55:45.000 But what we don't need is fighting.
00:55:49.000 You're gonna pause?
00:55:49.000 No.
00:55:50.000 How old is she?
00:55:50.000 He's giving six billion dollars to get five hostages home.
00:55:54.000 Him telling Netanyahu now that he needs a pause or a ceasefire.
00:55:58.000 We don't need him going and sitting there tiptoeing around Iran because he thinks they're
00:56:02.000 going to do something.
00:56:03.000 You don't respond to an enemy and a terrorist with fear, you respond with strength.
00:56:08.000 When you do that, that's when the world pays attention and that's when Iran stops.
00:56:14.000 Governor DeSantis, if I can continue with you, just today the U.S.
00:56:18.000 launched another one of its limited airstrikes against targets in Syria, this time Iranian-linked facility.
00:56:24.000 How far would you go militarily to hold Iran accountable?
00:56:29.000 Well, first, Matt, thanks for your question and I appreciate what you've done over the last month.
00:56:32.000 I know it's been very difficult for the community and appreciate you guys rallying together in difficult times.
00:56:38.000 I actually served in Iraq back in the day and we had Al Qaeda in Iraq.
00:56:43.000 You had Shia militias that were funded by Iran that were killing hundreds and hundreds of US troops.
00:56:50.000 And as commander in chief, I am not going to put our troops in harm's way Unless you're willing to defend them with everything you have.
00:57:00.000 Biden has them out there.
00:57:01.000 They're sitting ducks.
00:57:03.000 He's doing glancing blows.
00:57:04.000 That's just inviting more attacks.
00:57:06.000 This is a good answer, though, as far as putting it in an either-or.
00:57:09.000 Either you go all in to win a war, or you don't.
00:57:11.000 I think that's a fair position to hold.
00:57:12.000 I agree.
00:57:12.000 And he's a military guy.
00:57:14.000 He has some credibility.
00:57:15.000 And you are going to hell to pay.
00:57:17.000 We are not just going to sit there.
00:57:18.000 We all like Ron DeSantis and the governor.
00:57:20.000 He comes across like a little bit of a wiener.
00:57:22.000 Yeah, but why is he seventh overall in the latest?
00:57:25.000 Why is he... I don't understand, man.
00:57:27.000 I mean, it's how to screw up an election for dummies.
00:57:29.000 Yes.
00:57:30.000 All right, thank you, Governor.
00:57:31.000 Now our second and final question from Matthew Brooks of the Republican Jewish Coalition.
00:57:35.000 Please watch.
00:57:39.000 Jewish students across the country are threatened and under attack.
00:57:43.000 What do you say to Jewish students on college campuses who feel unsafe given the dramatic rise in anti-Semitism?
00:57:51.000 And what do you say to university presidents and college presidents who have not met the moral clarity moment to forcefully condemn the monster?
00:58:00.000 that you protect free speech on campus and it needs to reach the level of
00:58:03.000 criminality right because people have the right to be assholes and support
00:58:06.000 Palestine this is something they're gonna try and trip you up they're trying
00:58:09.000 to catch you with an inconsistency it's sad to see but here's what history
00:58:13.000 teaches us Anti-Semitism is a symptom of a deeper cancer in a country, in a society that is lost.
00:58:20.000 And we are lost.
00:58:22.000 Several years ago, when I wrote my first book, Woke Inc., I was talking about they were chanting, death to America, death to white people, death to Christians.
00:58:29.000 Nobody was waking up back then.
00:58:31.000 Now it's even bad.
00:58:32.000 Now they're saying death to Israel and worse.
00:58:34.000 So it is wrong, but we have to get to the root cause here.
00:58:38.000 Now, I think it's really important that we do this through leadership, not censorship.
00:58:42.000 Leadership means fill that void with purpose and meaning.
00:58:45.000 Dilute this wokeism and anti-Semitism to irrelevance.
00:58:49.000 These kids, they have no idea what the heck they're even talking about when they're siding with Hamas over Israel.
00:58:54.000 They are fools!
00:58:56.000 But I also want to caution here, if we go the direction of Ron DeSantis or Nikki Haley, with whom I respectfully disagree on this issue.
00:59:02.000 Pro-censorship, telling student groups to disband.
00:59:05.000 Mark my words.
00:59:07.000 Soon they will say if you question a vaccine and its side effects, you're a bioterrorist.
00:59:11.000 Soon they will say that if you show up at a school... I don't know that I could have framed a better answer.
00:59:14.000 This is a very good answer to this question.
00:59:16.000 My opinion, comment if you disagree.
00:59:19.000 So that's where this road ends.
00:59:21.000 We don't quash this with censorship because that creates a worse underbelly.
00:59:25.000 We quell it through leadership by calling it out.
00:59:28.000 I'm very curious to see the response.
00:59:30.000 I want to hear their response because they have an indefensible position.
00:59:33.000 Federal funding is a privilege, not a right.
00:59:35.000 values and that has no place for this kind of anti-semitic hate.
00:59:40.000 That's where I stand while respecting our Constitution.
00:59:42.000 Your time is up.
00:59:43.000 Senator Scott, let me get you to weigh in on this.
00:59:45.000 What a horrible moderator.
00:59:47.000 He just called out DeSantis and Nikki Haley and he's like, okay, great, let's go to Tim
00:59:51.000 Scott.
00:59:52.000 America, federal funding is a privilege, not a right, number one.
00:59:58.000 Number two, to every student who've come to our country on a visa to a college campus,
01:00:06.000 your visa is a privilege, not a right.
01:00:09.000 Number three, any campus... So you rip down a poster and send it back to their country?
01:00:15.000 One, two, three.
01:00:17.000 Right now Rick Perry's going, Jesus, he can do it.
01:00:20.000 Mass murder and genocide.
01:00:22.000 You should lose your federal funding today, period.
01:00:26.000 To all the students on visas who are encouraging Jewish genocide,
01:00:33.000 I would deport you from those campuses.
01:00:36.000 We have to stand strong.
01:00:37.000 It's a good, but it sounds good, but it's tough to actually enforce,
01:00:40.000 because a lot of them are saying, we don't support genocide.
01:00:43.000 We're saying that we're against genocide because we're against Israel.
01:00:46.000 Whereas, at least Vivek's was very, very clear, it was concrete, he made sure to couch it in anti-Semitism has no place, he supported Israel morally, we sat here and we talked to him about it, but he said, look, we can't go the route of censorship, it has to reach the level of criminality.
01:00:59.000 People say I hate Jews on campus, hey, if they want to deal with their dean or student activities coordinator, fine.
01:01:03.000 If you're actually calling for violence, boom, you're gone.
01:01:06.000 This is an answer that isn't really an answer from Tim Scott, and I know that some people won't like that.
01:01:10.000 Of course, we've been very consistent in our support of Israel, but I do not like the idea of... I like free speech better than I like deporting people for free speech.
01:01:18.000 It actually helps the argument when people see the dumbasses out there supporting Hamas with Palestinian flags.
01:01:22.000 You look at them and you're like, oh, these guys are idiots.
01:01:23.000 But if you say, I stand with Palestine, which we don't, you shouldn't be deported.
01:01:27.000 But the problem is the left controls the media.
01:01:30.000 They're in all the institutions.
01:01:31.000 They outshout us.
01:01:34.000 I'm canceling your visa and I'm sending you home.
01:01:37.000 No questions asked.
01:01:38.000 Where are you going?
01:01:40.000 Hey, so Nick needs a refill on his drink.
01:01:44.000 Their kids do not feel safe even going to university campus at all outside of the state of Florida.
01:01:50.000 You have Jewish students fleeing for their lives.
01:01:53.000 Yes, I was an understudy at the local showing of Cats.
01:01:55.000 the department of justice on these college campuses and holding the
01:01:59.000 universities accountable for civil rights violations when you have you
01:02:03.000 should not have money going to these places i already acted in florida we had a group students for
01:02:08.000 justice of palestine understudy at the local uh... showing of cats i was gonna
01:02:13.000 say this is what we are we deactivated the most of the world
01:02:16.000 that's dollars to fund jihad.
01:02:19.000 No way.
01:02:20.000 And what is Biden doing?
01:02:21.000 Not only is he not helping the Jewish students who are being persecuted, he is launching an initiative to combat so-called Islamophobia.
01:02:30.000 No, it's the anti-Semitism that's spiraling out of control.
01:02:34.000 That is what we have to confront.
01:02:36.000 And as president, I can tell you this, we are not going to stand for this on college campuses any longer.
01:02:41.000 All right, Governor, thank you.
01:02:43.000 Let me turn to Governor Christie.
01:02:45.000 And considering what he just said, you led a state with a sizable Muslim population.
01:02:49.000 Sizable, Christie.
01:02:50.000 As you know, a six-year-old Palestinian American boy was killed.
01:02:55.000 His mother was also stabbed more than a dozen times in what has been charged as a hate crime.
01:03:01.000 What do you say to Muslim Americans who are also feeling afraid for their safety right
01:03:05.000 now?
01:03:06.000 I'm the only one in the state who's actually had experience in dealing with this.
01:03:09.000 I was appointed by President Bush to be the US Attorney in New Jersey on September 10th,
01:03:15.000 2001.
01:03:16.000 And when I took over the job after the September 11th attacks, I had to deal with a situation
01:03:22.000 in our state that was explosive.
01:03:25.000 We're the most ethically diverse state in this country.
01:03:28.000 And so first we heard credible reports about Jewish students and synagogues being threatened in our state in the aftermath of 9-11.
01:03:40.000 We made sure that we sent federal agents to those synagogues and we protected them.
01:03:44.000 The same thing should be being done now.
01:03:47.000 At the very same time, I personally went from mosque to mosque in New Jersey.
01:03:52.000 I went from a size 14 to 19 looking for butter.
01:03:54.000 With the leaders of those mosques and with the members of the mosques.
01:03:58.000 And I said to them, law enforcement is on your side to protect you regardless of your religion.
01:04:05.000 If you are going to comply with the law, and we developed fabulous relationships with Muslim Americans all across the state of New Jersey, and we stopped any hate crimes that were going on either against Jewish Americans in New Jersey or Muslim Americans in New Jersey.
01:04:22.000 It takes leadership, Lester, to know how to do this.
01:04:24.000 You must work with both sides.
01:04:26.000 Both sides need to know it, but let us never have.
01:04:29.000 A false moral equivalence between Hamas and Hezbollah and the Jewish people.
01:04:34.000 The Jewish people stand for right and justice and Hamas and Hezbollah stand for death.
01:04:39.000 Senator Christie, thank you.
01:04:40.000 And you sit for all eight.
01:04:41.000 What are you saying?
01:04:42.000 Yeah, definitely a tough guy moment.
01:04:44.000 Drink guys.
01:04:45.000 Bring back up the drinking game rules for people who haven't seen them yet.
01:04:48.000 Look at the country and the country is all out of sorts.
01:04:52.000 I think look at what these kids are dealing with on college campuses.
01:04:55.000 What makes me so angry is not only do you have the kids barricaded in the library, they've said they were going to shoot up the kosher dining hall.
01:05:04.000 You've got kids dorm rooms who are being set on fire because they have something related to Israel on their doors.
01:05:10.000 No No person should ever feel in danger like this.
01:05:14.000 And this is what I would say about our college presidents, is if the KKK were doing this.
01:05:21.000 Every college president would be up in arms.
01:05:23.000 This is no different.
01:05:25.000 You should treat it exactly the same.
01:05:27.000 Anti-Semitism is just as awful as racism, and we've got to make sure they're protected.
01:05:33.000 And for everybody that's protesting on these college campuses in favor of Hamas, let me remind you something.
01:05:39.000 Hamas said death to Israel and death to America.
01:05:43.000 They hate and would kill you too.
01:05:45.000 And the idea that they're talking about- I get it, you're right, but you're not answering the question.
01:05:49.000 We're talking about campus here.
01:05:51.000 It's not us.
01:05:52.000 We're better than that.
01:05:53.000 We don't need to celebrate terrorists.
01:05:55.000 We don't need to celebrate genocide.
01:05:57.000 We don't need to celebrate violence towards anybody.
01:06:01.000 Apparently you don't celebrate Labor Day with that white outfit.
01:06:04.000 And remember what we are about.
01:06:05.000 And we are about taking care of people.
01:06:08.000 No white.
01:06:09.000 No white after Labor Day.
01:06:11.000 Terrorist activity says they want to... I like to see somebody hit her with a glass of cranberry juice.
01:06:16.000 By the way, we have a 7 plus 1 later, 7 plus 1 things the GOP candidates are doing after this debate.
01:06:20.000 And we do have our on-the-ground correspondent, Thomas Finnegan, at the debate tonight.
01:06:22.000 Nice teeth.
01:06:23.000 Lesser meat the press host.
01:06:24.000 Your turn.
01:06:25.000 That's right.
01:06:26.000 By the way, we have a 7 plus 1 later, 7 plus 1 things the GOP candidates are doing after
01:06:29.000 this debate.
01:06:30.000 And we do have our on the ground correspondent Thomas Finnegan at the debate tonight.
01:06:34.000 We'll hope.
01:06:35.000 We will check in with him.
01:06:36.000 I hope.
01:06:37.000 ... for the United States.
01:06:38.000 And Americans would be forced to quote, send your sons and daughters to defend NATO countries.
01:06:44.000 Senator Scott, where do you stand on more funding for Ukraine?
01:06:48.000 I certainly have been very supportive of Ukraine.
01:06:50.000 I believe that ultimately we should make sure that the President of the United States states what is America's national vital interest in Ukraine.
01:06:59.000 It is actually in degrading the Russian military.
01:07:02.000 We've been very effective using our resources and our weapons.
01:07:05.000 You can make that argument for anyone.
01:07:07.000 You can make an argument for any war and the Russian military degraded themselves.
01:07:10.000 And they're sitting on a stockpile that could blow the world.
01:07:13.000 Degrade the military all you want.
01:07:15.000 ...of the Russian military and that's good news.
01:07:17.000 But the American people are frustrated that they do not have a president who reminds us and tells us, where's the accountability?
01:07:24.000 Where are those dollars?
01:07:25.000 How are those dollars being spent?
01:07:27.000 Hold on, hold on, hold on.
01:07:28.000 Nobody's asking for receipts, Tim.
01:07:30.000 Everybody's saying we're sending too much money overseas to a war that does not impact
01:07:34.000 us while we have problems here at home.
01:07:36.000 And we're not gearing up for some of the problems that could happen, I don't know, in Israel
01:07:40.000 that was something that probably could pop off at any second.
01:07:42.000 China and Taiwan.
01:07:44.000 That's the problem.
01:07:45.000 Nobody's saying, hey, are they spending those on M16s or not?
01:07:48.000 Why are you even bringing that up?
01:07:50.000 We show the world that we are one.
01:07:51.000 one hundred percent undeniably standing shoulder to shoulder with israel and
01:07:57.000 that as we turn away from that direct support for israel we should go to our
01:08:01.000 southern border and close our southern border with the resources necessary
01:08:06.000 i believe that we have sleeper terrorist cells in america thousands of people
01:08:12.000 well you must be a detective there tim in iraq if we're going to deal with the massacres at our
01:08:19.000 border Chris Christie's Fupa.
01:08:21.000 Hey, Tim Scott, how many border walls worth of money have we sent to Ukraine so far?
01:08:27.000 And I'm starting to price things in border walls, so just help me out.
01:08:31.000 $20 billion, by the way.
01:08:31.000 We're going to bring up $20 billion for a border wall.
01:08:33.000 The most generous estimate was $30 billion ever.
01:08:35.000 It really cost likely $18 billion.
01:08:38.000 And how much have we committed now to Ukraine?
01:08:40.000 It's over $100 billion.
01:08:40.000 I'm asking right now.
01:08:41.000 Is it over $100 billion?
01:08:42.000 Sorry, is it $110 billion?
01:08:43.000 I believe so.
01:08:45.000 It's over a hundred billion.
01:08:46.000 Five-ish border walls?
01:08:47.000 Five border walls.
01:08:48.000 Not only that, the military's been degraded ten times since Biden got office, and now we got another war to hate.
01:08:53.000 I know, it's like he spat in their mouth.
01:08:55.000 Our NATO partners safe from the Russian military is absolutely essential.
01:09:01.000 As you understand, Article 5 would require to support and to defend NATO, our troops on the ground.
01:09:07.000 Ukraine's not a NATO country.
01:09:08.000 And by the way, look, Putin's an asshole, right?
01:09:11.000 Putin bad, just like Hitler bad, just to be clear.
01:09:13.000 However, one of the promises was that Ukraine would never become a NATO country.
01:09:18.000 So for you to act as though there is no reason that he, and not any reason that you believe in, that he can sell to his people as a reason for continuing a war does not Do you any favors?
01:09:28.000 Ukraine is not a NATO country.
01:09:29.000 We pay into NATO more than any other nation.
01:09:31.000 We always have.
01:09:31.000 Other people don't foot their own bill.
01:09:33.000 And it was promised to Russia that Ukraine would never be a NATO country.
01:09:36.000 If you're not addressing that, you're not addressing the root issue, and it's going to be never anymore, which is probably great for the boards that Nikki Haley's on.
01:09:42.000 Let me hear Vivek.
01:09:42.000 Sorry.
01:09:43.000 Cautious as they should.
01:09:44.000 Level with the American people here.
01:09:46.000 Ukraine is not a paragon of democracy.
01:09:49.000 This is a country that has banned 11 opposition parties.
01:09:52.000 It has consolidated all media into one state TV media arm.
01:09:56.000 That's not democratic.
01:09:57.000 It has threatened not to hold elections this year unless the U.S.
01:10:00.000 forks over more money.
01:10:01.000 That is not democratic.
01:10:02.000 It has celebrated a Nazi in its ranks, the comedian in cargo pants, a man called Zelensky, doing it in their own ranks.
01:10:08.000 That is not democratic.
01:10:10.000 More facts for you that you won't hear from the mainstream media.
01:10:12.000 You guys are having a great night.
01:10:14.000 Regions of Ukraine that are occupied by Russia right now.
01:10:18.000 They're all going to attack him as no foreign policy experience after this.
01:10:20.000 Watch.
01:10:21.000 He's a Russian speaking regions that have not even been part of Ukraine since 2014.
01:10:26.000 That other people probably couldn't name those provinces for you.
01:10:30.000 Those are the hard facts.
01:10:31.000 And sort of frame this as some kind of battle between good versus evil.
01:10:35.000 Don't buy it.
01:10:37.000 And I'd like the likes of the sharpest of the war hawks on Ukraine, Nikki Haley, to have some accountability and answer.
01:10:42.000 Do you want to use U.S.
01:10:43.000 taxpayer money to fund the banning of Christians?
01:10:47.000 That's actually what's happened.
01:10:49.000 They're using the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
01:10:51.000 They have banned them.
01:10:52.000 The Ukrainian Parliament just did this last week.
01:10:55.000 Supported by our dollars, and I think you owe it to the American people, Nikki, to at least this one time... Mr. Ramaswamy, thank you.
01:11:07.000 We ask the questions.
01:11:08.000 Ambassador... Oh, you do?
01:11:09.000 We ask the questions.
01:11:11.000 No, no, no.
01:11:12.000 I'm sorry.
01:11:13.000 Your writers write the questions for you to ask your guests.
01:11:15.000 Okay, let's hear Nikki Haley.
01:11:16.000 ...and President Xi are salivating at the thought that someone like that could become president.
01:11:21.000 They would love to be...
01:11:23.000 Yeah, because I'm sure the whole Middle Eastern, Arabic world would respect you as Commander-in-Chief.
01:11:27.000 Look at the elected woman!
01:11:31.000 The first thing I'll tell you is, we all remember when he invaded Ukraine.
01:11:39.000 Hold on, hold on, I do want to hear what stupid stuff you're saying.
01:11:42.000 But hold that thought, I want to hear it.
01:11:43.000 What's the difference?
01:11:44.000 Here is a freedom-loving pro-American country that is fighting for its survival and its
01:11:50.000 democracy.
01:11:51.000 No, I don't think we should give them cash.
01:11:53.000 I think we should give them the equipment and the ammunition to win.
01:11:55.000 And I'll tell you, if Biden had done it when they first...
01:11:58.000 So like, so like Fed, it's like USA Fed bucks.
01:12:01.000 It's like Toys R Us in the 90s.
01:12:03.000 I just want to give them Jeffrey dollars.
01:12:04.000 What the fuck is that?
01:12:05.000 Funny money.
01:12:06.000 How are we going to get that?
01:12:07.000 How would you pay for the ammunition?
01:12:10.000 Don't ask questions.
01:12:11.000 Funny money from the gold club in Atlanta.
01:12:13.000 Now everybody wants to move away from Ukraine?
01:12:16.000 They'll want to move away from Israel a year from now.
01:12:19.000 Not at all the same thing!
01:12:21.000 Nope.
01:12:21.000 Wrong.
01:12:22.000 After 9-11 we needed a lot of friends.
01:12:25.000 Now is the time to get partnerships.
01:12:27.000 This unholy alliance between Russia, Ukraine and China is real.
01:12:32.000 There is a reason the Taiwanese want us to support them.
01:12:35.000 China, Russia, has been pushed into the arms of China because of this.
01:12:39.000 They were not allies before.
01:12:40.000 They're getting friendlier because of our money to Ukraine.
01:12:43.000 Now, you may agree that having a proxy war that's fought there is better than impacting us globally.
01:12:48.000 I understand that argument.
01:12:49.000 I don't agree with it.
01:12:50.000 Russia, China, very cold relationship.
01:12:53.000 It's warmed up as a result of this.
01:12:55.000 That is a fact.
01:12:56.000 We called it when we discussed this over a year ago on the show, and here we are.
01:13:00.000 Let's hear the token fat guy.
01:13:02.000 It bought us just a couple of years.
01:13:04.000 And then 500,000 Americans were killed in Europe to defeat Hitler.
01:13:09.000 This is not a choice.
01:13:10.000 Putin is not Hitler.
01:13:11.000 This is the price we pay for being the leaders of the free world.
01:13:15.000 And the fact is, this alliance is not just with Russia and China.
01:13:21.000 Governor Haley knows this.
01:13:22.000 Iran is in the middle of this as well and so is North Korea.
01:13:26.000 And they are all working to support Russia right now.
01:13:29.000 And the reason they're doing it is because dictators work together.
01:13:34.000 People who believe in democracy work together.
01:13:37.000 We must stand with all of those that are standing up for democracy and freedom in this world.
01:13:43.000 We're all aging faster because of his gravity.
01:13:46.000 You got a guy on a unicycle with a handheld.
01:13:48.000 It's like M. Night Shyamalan's with the island.
01:13:54.000 They invade you, we will protect you.
01:13:57.000 An American promise that's 31 years old is no different than the American promise that's made tonight on this stage.
01:14:04.000 We need to stand by it.
01:14:05.000 And those of us who forget history are doomed to repeat it.
01:14:09.000 Take the Slim Fast Challenge.
01:14:10.000 Make that promise.
01:14:10.000 I'd like to respond.
01:14:11.000 And the absolute, the absolute giving in to dictators, which is being suggested on this stage, just shows the immaturity of the approach.
01:14:21.000 Wrong.
01:14:21.000 Wrong.
01:14:22.000 I'd like to respond.
01:14:22.000 I told you.
01:14:23.000 Called it.
01:14:23.000 They were going to attack his foreign policy experience.
01:14:25.000 He gave a better answer than they did, regardless of experience.
01:14:28.000 You know who else did?
01:14:28.000 Donald Trump.
01:14:29.000 That's right.
01:14:30.000 Or if Putin is not stopped now.
01:14:32.000 Well, any suggestion by Zelensky or anyone else that we should, that we're going to eventually have U.S.
01:14:36.000 troops there, I can tell the American people, when I'm president, that will not happen.
01:14:40.000 We are not going to send your sons and daughters to Ukraine.
01:14:43.000 I am going to send troops to our southern border.
01:14:45.000 If you look at the threats that we face, terrorists have come in through our southern border.
01:14:50.000 Shut it down, I'm gonna have the military, and I'm gonna deport the people who've come, particularly under Biden, who've come from the Middle East, come from all these places.
01:14:57.000 Now, Biden wants $105 billion.
01:14:59.000 60, most of that's Ukraine, including some of it going to pay pensions for bureaucrats and salaries.
01:15:05.000 That is a totally ridiculous use of American tax dollars.
01:15:09.000 He says he has money for border to try to do, and the media will repeat that.
01:15:13.000 When you look at it, what most of the money is, is money to process More illegal aliens into this country.
01:15:20.000 How is that solving the problem?
01:15:21.000 That's making the problem worse.
01:15:23.000 And what does he do for the Indo-Pacific?
01:15:26.000 A pittance.
01:15:27.000 That is the top threat that we face.
01:15:29.000 We need to bring this war to an end.
01:15:31.000 We need the Europeans to step up and do their fair share.
01:15:35.000 And we need to get serious about the top threat that this country faces, which is the Chinese Communist Party.
01:15:41.000 He sounds a lot like Trump.
01:15:43.000 You know what?
01:15:43.000 It's a valid answer.
01:15:44.000 Absolutely.
01:15:45.000 I will take it.
01:15:47.000 And DeSantis right now, Mr. Bogo Boots.
01:15:50.000 Oh, he's real.
01:15:52.000 Let's put a poll out there.
01:15:54.000 I would say DeSantis and Vivek.
01:15:58.000 Many Republicans believe that the Chinese Communist Party and General Secretary Xi is an existential threat to the United States.
01:16:05.000 The flashpoint is Taiwan.
01:16:07.000 For decades and decades, the American military, but primarily the United States Navy... Put the camera on Andy Warhol.
01:16:14.000 ...from China to the island state of Taiwan.
01:16:17.000 But Ronald Reagan's navy of 600 ships is gone.
01:16:20.000 Now, the question to you is... ...his goal was a 355-ship navy.
01:16:28.000 That's what he pushed for.
01:16:28.000 It got to 300.
01:16:30.000 It's now at 291.
01:16:31.000 Is that big enough to deter and, if necessary, defeat an invasion of Taiwan?
01:16:37.000 That's what she said.
01:16:37.000 China has the largest naval fleet in the world.
01:16:40.000 Nikki, you're a size queen.
01:16:41.000 What do you got to say?
01:16:42.000 Mushrooms?
01:16:42.000 They'll have 400 ships in two years.
01:16:44.000 We won't even have 350 ships in two decades.
01:16:47.000 China has built up their military.
01:16:49.000 It's not just land, air, and sea.
01:16:51.000 They're doing cyber, they're doing artificial intelligence, they're doing space.
01:16:54.000 America needs to modernize our military.
01:16:58.000 We need to do everything we can.
01:16:59.000 The first thing is, you go and you make sure you have the back of your... Let's get Nick a fresh drink from out there.
01:17:05.000 He just makeshifted it.
01:17:06.000 Like, he MacGyvered his drink.
01:17:07.000 I'm sure it's terrible.
01:17:08.000 The second thing is, we go to China and we start being tough on them.
01:17:13.000 No more sales of our American soil to China.
01:17:16.000 And let's take back what they've already stolen.
01:17:18.000 That being said, it would be hilarious to see her tower over Xi Jinping and just emasculate him.
01:17:22.000 There's something funny about a woman towering over a guy.
01:17:24.000 It would be funny too if they cut to Chrissy right now.
01:17:25.000 Now he had a napkin tucked in his head, eating a big fucking meatball.
01:17:29.000 He had lobster, baby.
01:17:30.000 Yeah, lobster.
01:17:31.000 He had sauce in his hair.
01:17:33.000 And then we modernize our military.
01:17:36.000 When we strengthen our military, when we modernize it with the focus of cyber and artificial intelligence in space, when we make sure that we have the backs of our friends, whether it's in Israel, whether it's in Ukraine, and we should be arming Taiwan.
01:17:50.000 Make sure they have the equipment they need.
01:17:52.000 Okay, so this will be interesting to see if Vivek comes out and they ask him about Taiwan, because he gave a very good answer when we did an Ash Wednesday, where he said, the level of defense that we have for Taiwan right now, which is basically sort of military ambiguity, that would be the lowest I would go.
01:18:05.000 I would elevate it until we become, you know, we achieve semiconductor chip independence, and then it would go back to where it is now.
01:18:11.000 And that was misrepresented in the media.
01:18:12.000 You may not agree with it, but I'm curious to see if he answers this.
01:18:15.000 ...to back up a strategy of denial of President Xi's ambitions.
01:18:20.000 And if China's able to be the world's leading superpower, that will affect you and your family in ways that are going to be very bad.
01:18:26.000 They will export authoritarianism all around the world as the cost of doing business.
01:18:30.000 They will impose things like social credit scores and internet monitors.
01:18:34.000 To this generation, what the Soviet Union... Marry a stray dog!
01:18:40.000 We're gonna get to 355 ships at the end of the first term, 385 ships at the end of the
01:18:45.000 second term.
01:18:46.000 Cut off the world supply of broccoli and chicken?
01:18:48.000 What are they gonna put in?
01:18:49.000 20 years.
01:18:50.000 I think the future of freedom is going to be determined in the Indo-Pacific.
01:18:53.000 We have a strategy now.
01:18:54.000 Everything will be dripping with MSG.
01:18:58.000 And fighting them here at home with their cultural.
01:19:01.000 Ambassador Haley said somehow I wasn't doing.
01:19:03.000 She welcomed them into South Carolina, gave them land near a military base, wrote the
01:19:08.000 Chinese ambassador a love letter saying what a great friend they were.
01:19:11.000 That was like their number one way to do economic development.
01:19:15.000 In Florida, I banned China from buying land in this state.
01:19:19.000 By the way, that's a take a drink, that's a mic drop moment because that is a great
01:19:24.000 We give everyone a tough time because it's, you know, we're children.
01:19:28.000 I hope you appreciate it.
01:19:29.000 We also fact-check them.
01:19:30.000 Any fact-checks that need to come back in, we'll do it.
01:19:32.000 But every time you ban China, let's, you know, masseuses for six bucks.
01:19:36.000 And he's mentioned his own state.
01:19:37.000 We have to drink on that one too.
01:19:39.000 I need to have mine refreshed.
01:19:40.000 I've been drinking constantly.
01:19:42.000 Well, two major problems with the question.
01:19:43.000 Number one, we do not have currently a defense industrial bank to allow us to have the kind of production that we need in order to keep America safe.
01:19:54.000 Frankly, if we are not prepared to fight and engage in three continents at the same time,
01:19:59.000 think about where we are today.
01:20:00.000 In the Middle East, we are in the midst of trying to back our strongest ally.
01:20:05.000 In Eastern Europe, we've seen our resources and our weaponry help degrade the Russian
01:20:10.000 military.
01:20:11.000 The Indo-Pacific, we have real challenges.
01:20:13.000 The long-term threat, the long-term threat is China.
01:20:18.000 Immediate threat is our southern border.
01:20:20.000 In order for us to have the military to fight three different continents at the exact same
01:20:27.000 We're going to have to invest heavily in our military, but we're also going to have to invest heavily in an industrial base so that we can hit our objectives from a military perspective, not only with our ships, but also with our planes.
01:20:42.000 We are so old as a military that in order for us to recalibrate, we're going to have to invest.
01:20:53.000 Yeah, exactly.
01:20:53.000 He's meandering.
01:20:54.000 I like Tim Scott.
01:20:54.000 He's not capable of answering a question.
01:20:55.000 He's not presidential material.
01:20:57.000 Very nice guy.
01:20:57.000 high-tech manufacturing come back to America, decoupling from China, so that we focus our
01:21:02.000 attention on creating that industrial revolution that we need.
01:21:18.000 When would they be in the water?
01:21:19.000 How big would the float get?
01:21:20.000 Oh, I don't know.
01:21:21.000 First answer is end the toxic divest.
01:21:26.000 We're decommissioning ships in the South China Sea.
01:21:29.000 The foundation of war is economics.
01:21:32.000 Rebuild our defense industrial base at home.
01:21:34.000 But here's the dirty little secret.
01:21:36.000 Our actual defense industrial base depends on China for the supply chain.
01:21:41.000 For the F-35 jets.
01:21:42.000 For the ships that we're building.
01:21:43.000 Think about this.
01:21:44.000 Why are we stockpiling that if it isn't to actually be strong against our enemy, China?
01:21:48.000 We depend on them for that.
01:21:50.000 Just like we depend on them for pharmaceuticals.
01:21:52.000 Just like we depend on them for semiconductors.
01:21:55.000 So here's why we can't get tough with China.
01:21:57.000 It's because we depend on them for our modern way of life.
01:22:00.000 And we have to declare economic independence from our enemy.
01:22:04.000 That's the declaration of independence that Thomas Jefferson at the age of 33 would have signed.
01:22:09.000 Today, if you were alive, that's the declaration of independence that I will sign as the next president.
01:22:14.000 I do have to recognize that Ron Santos was correct about acknowledging Nikki Haley's tough talk when she was ambassador to the UN, calling China our great friend, bringing the CCP to South Carolina.
01:22:24.000 He's fucking wrong.
01:22:25.000 Ron DeSantis changed his face.
01:22:26.000 Someone said, give him the good, the bad, and the DeSantis face.
01:22:29.000 I'm serious.
01:22:29.000 He's changed his expression.
01:22:30.000 They said, you need to look more tough.
01:22:32.000 It's like his lipstick's running.
01:22:34.000 He's changed his expression.
01:22:35.000 They said you need to look more tough.
01:22:37.000 Politicians who are independent of the forces that increase our dependence on China.
01:22:43.000 My message to Xi Jinping is this.
01:22:45.000 You are done buying land in this country.
01:22:47.000 You will not donate to universities in this country.
01:22:49.000 U.S. businesses won't expand into the Chinese market until you play by the same set of rules.
01:22:53.000 You're kicked out of the WTO.
01:22:54.000 Shut up, Polk.
01:22:55.000 By the way, you know what?
01:22:57.000 None of this, none of this tonight, this conversation about China takes place without Donald Trump.
01:23:01.000 For decades, we were told in this country it was an inevitability, China's going to be the next great superpower, Donald Trump changed that.
01:23:07.000 Look at these answers.
01:23:09.000 If you don't appreciate anything else about Donald Trump, the fact that people now are able to acknowledge the threat that China presents Is something we all have to agree on.
01:23:18.000 I can't tell you how many relatives, friends I had in finance going, accept it, everything's going to have to learn, you better start learning some Mandarin.
01:23:30.000 Yeah, exactly.
01:23:32.000 My first observation, Hugh, is that nobody answers your question.
01:23:35.000 And my second observation is, three in the middle think they're the enemy.
01:23:40.000 I know China is the enemy.
01:23:41.000 And that's what we should be focused on.
01:23:42.000 So let's be really clear.
01:23:44.000 The nuclear submarine in this United States Navy is the greatest deterrent to Chinese aggression, and that is the first place I would go to increase American naval power.
01:23:56.000 Our nuclear submarines are able to move stealthily, quietly, and effectively, and if we are going to deter China from invading Taiwan, the only way we're going to do it is to make sure that they don't know.
01:24:07.000 If you do a cannonball off of a carrier ship and create a tidal wave, Tsunami!
01:24:12.000 Oh no, Chris Christie Tsunami!
01:24:15.000 He is a battleship.
01:24:16.000 What the fuck?
01:24:17.000 Tsukishima, so Chris Christie Tsunami, can't do a cannonball off a carrier ship?
01:24:22.000 Why are you doing Chris Christie?
01:24:24.000 Chris Christie.
01:24:25.000 That would be priority number one.
01:24:27.000 Ships would come next.
01:24:28.000 But to me, the ships are secondary choice here.
01:24:32.000 The submarines are the single most important thing that we could be deterring, that we
01:24:36.000 could be using to deter China.
01:24:37.000 You're talking about Jersey subs?
01:24:38.000 To let them know that the blood money they're spending for Russia in Ukraine right now will
01:24:45.000 not be effective.
01:24:46.000 Well, in Jersey, because Jersey might, yeah.
01:24:47.000 Put him home with his tail between his legs and make them understand that the same fate
01:24:51.000 waits for them if they decide to move towards Taiwan with a more aggressive view.
01:24:57.000 We'll be able to make that threat real.
01:24:58.000 Thank you, Governor.
01:24:59.000 We're going to take a brief pause.
01:25:00.000 Really quickly here, so Chinese public opinion, kind of to your point, has actually turned very sharply towards the United States recently, right?
01:25:07.000 In favor?
01:25:08.000 In favor of the Chinese public opinion.
01:25:10.000 We talk about the CCP and the Chinese people, two different things.
01:25:13.000 Chinese people, not so much a fan of their authoritarian government here, but this may be a good time for us to, they've taken a break here, we can maybe see if we can get in touch with Finnegan?
01:25:22.000 Yeah, check and see with our on-the-ground correspondent.
01:25:24.000 I know that we've sent him out there, We'll see how this goes.
01:25:26.000 And we spare no expense.
01:25:27.000 You can use the promo code UNDERCOVER because, you know, we broke the Nashville Manifesto here this week.
01:25:31.000 And we also have eyes on the ground everywhere.
01:25:33.000 It's time to go to our on-the-ground correspondent, Thomas Finnegan.
01:25:47.000 Pretty much know what to expect, but what do you have for us here today?
01:25:52.000 Hi, Stephen.
01:25:53.000 Hi, yeah.
01:25:55.000 I'm in my car outside the venue.
01:25:58.000 I'm ready to go in and I'll check back in with you later.
01:26:01.000 The GOP debate?
01:26:02.000 Yeah.
01:26:03.000 Tonight?
01:26:04.000 In Miami.
01:26:04.000 You're 100% sure tonight that you are in Miami at the right location.
01:26:08.000 Yes.
01:26:09.000 The right city.
01:26:10.000 This is the first.
01:26:11.000 I don't know what to say.
01:26:12.000 I guess we'll check in with you.
01:26:15.000 We'll check in with you.
01:26:15.000 I also wanted to say that.
01:26:16.000 Okay, you know what?
01:26:16.000 Let's let's take a break.
01:26:17.000 I am positively shocked, but I'm We'll check back in with Finnegan on the ground.
01:26:29.000 We can bring back up the drinking game rules really quickly.
01:26:31.000 I'm gonna have to go get some of this CB Distillery.
01:26:34.000 Rub them.
01:26:34.000 This is what's keeping me alive tonight.
01:26:36.000 And afloat.
01:26:37.000 I have a pinched nerve, but this really has helped.
01:26:40.000 CB Distillery can go.
01:26:41.000 Is it the promo code?
01:26:42.000 Is it Crowder?
01:26:43.000 Crowder for 20% off.
01:26:43.000 Crowder for 20% off.
01:26:45.000 All the science, the research is there.
01:26:46.000 It does help.
01:26:47.000 Also, their oil is great.
01:26:48.000 I just can't take it before the show because it makes me a little bit drowsy.
01:26:51.000 Everything is lab tested and they have the balls to sponsor this show.
01:26:54.000 We're about to go to a commercial break.
01:26:55.000 What, Gerald?
01:26:55.000 Well, so we're actually not going to go to a commercial break.
01:26:58.000 We're going to go to Vivek.
01:26:59.000 We have a little bit more about him, talking about Nashville, and I think people are really going to want to see his opinion on the Nashvillians.
01:27:04.000 Is this from tonight?
01:27:05.000 This is from my interview with him earlier today.
01:27:07.000 OK, we're going to go to Vivek, and keep in the bottom, the lower third, of course, always keep the debate so people know I will be right back.
01:27:13.000 You know what?
01:27:13.000 Put Trump up there.
01:27:15.000 Yeah, let's put Donald Trump up there.
01:27:17.000 Just switch back and forth so people know we're covering all of it.
01:27:19.000 It is the Crowder GOP debate.
01:27:22.000 We will be back.
01:27:23.000 I'm going to rub some of this on my neck and hopefully gain function back of my right hand.
01:27:26.000 hand. See you soon.
01:27:33.000 Bye.
01:27:48.000 I saw that you interacted with it, but we released the Nashville Shooters Manifesto, and I saw that you said something, and I actually quoted you on air because I had seen your tweet and said that, you know, we can handle the truth.
01:28:01.000 Go into just a little bit of detail.
01:28:03.000 Why did you support the release of that manifesto?
01:28:06.000 Not only did I support the release of it, but I went to Nashville in August, in early August, because I heard the state legislature was convening a special—the governor, Republican governor, by the way.
01:28:17.000 Was convening a special session of the legislature in late August to pass anti-gun measures without having released that manifesto.
01:28:28.000 So that irritated the hell out of me.
01:28:30.000 He says, I'm going to show up in Nashville.
01:28:32.000 We held a sort of protest rally type event.
01:28:34.000 And I called for its release because the reason people don't trust the government is that the government doesn't, one of the reasons certainly, is that the government doesn't trust the people with the truth.
01:28:44.000 Right?
01:28:45.000 Trust is a two-way relationship.
01:28:46.000 And so we don't, we lack total trust in our institutions, in part because those institutions do not trust the people who they're supposed to serve.
01:28:52.000 So the idea is here, a noble lie, that the people can't handle whatever's in there.
01:28:57.000 And my view is whether it's the origin of COVID, whether it's the Hunter Biden laptop story, whether it's the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, whether it's the basis for the 2008 bailouts, whether it's how many federal officials were in the field on January 6th, whether it's Saudi Arabia's involvement, intelligence operatives' involvement in knowledge of 9-11, whatever it is, Just tell us the truth!
01:29:15.000 I mean, even the knowledge about... I know it's a sort of a gauche topic, but even UFOs, like, what do we know?
01:29:20.000 Just... I mean, it's clear that the government has prioritized this topic at a far greater extent than it's the public, so... I just go straight down the list on any of those topics, just tell us the truth.
01:29:32.000 And we the people can handle it, and it's like the Jack Nicholson scene at the end of that movie, right?
01:29:35.000 You can't handle the truth.
01:29:37.000 Say, no, no, we can handle the truth.
01:29:40.000 And my view is, give it to us not just when it's easy, but when it's hard.
01:29:43.000 So when I went to Nashville, something really interesting happened.
01:29:45.000 The entire community there, there were people who came up and said, no, we've talked to the people who have seen it, and it's not what you think.
01:29:51.000 I was like, how do you know what I think?
01:29:53.000 All I'm saying is I want it seen.
01:29:55.000 They're like, no, no, no, because you think it's a transgender shooter.
01:29:57.000 It's not what you think.
01:29:58.000 And there's stuff in there that would be very harmful, at least.
01:30:03.000 You know, I mean, I'm a thinking person.
01:30:06.000 I like to think and wonder, okay, how can we, are there some, what do I know that I don't know?
01:30:11.000 Can this be handled through redaction, right?
01:30:13.000 That's typically how that's done.
01:30:14.000 If there's like a manual for how to commit a future attack, right?
01:30:16.000 I don't, you know, I don't think that there's a public interest in seeing the how-to manual, but the question is the public at least knows that the police and everybody else has entrusted them to say, okay, these are the motives of the killer.
01:30:26.000 And at least we know that.
01:30:27.000 A tragedy happened, an airplane crashes.
01:30:30.000 You can recover the black box no matter what it says.
01:30:32.000 You deserve to see what's in there.
01:30:34.000 What struck me, and I'm so grateful to you guys for recovering it and putting it out, is that The kind of stuff they insinuated to me that would be in there, why this couldn't be released, that wasn't in there at all.
01:30:48.000 It was just political cover all the way down, which shows how rotten our institutional leaders really are.
01:30:55.000 In this case, it's not just one institution.
01:30:57.000 You've got local police, you've got the governor, you've got the state government, you've got the FBI, all in on this.
01:31:03.000 And it's pathetic.
01:31:03.000 It's an indictment of where we are as a country.
01:31:06.000 And so the same broad establishment, spanning media to our own agencies, to our own federal police state, from January 6th to Hunter Biden laptop story, 50 CIA intelligence operatives claiming it was Russian intelligence or Russian disinformation, to the origin of COVID-19, to now the Nashville transgender shooter manifesto.
01:31:28.000 We need to restore a culture of truth.
01:31:31.000 in the United States of America, give it to us, not just when it's easy, but when it's hard. And so anyway, I'm glad
01:31:35.000 you guys did it. And there's been a big theme for me since earlier this year. And in some ways, it was, it was
01:31:42.000 grateful. In some ways, I was just upset when I saw it because I was waiting for where was that vague, to be
01:31:50.000 avoided topic that might hurt someone or create a clear and present danger for future violence.
01:31:56.000 It wasn't in there.
01:31:57.000 No.
01:31:57.000 It was a lie.
01:31:57.000 Yeah, it was a lie.
01:31:59.000 And look, we know that there are more documents, there's more information that could be released.
01:32:03.000 This is only a part of what was obtained by the police.
01:32:07.000 But were you surprised at the response?
01:32:10.000 They could have released this!
01:32:11.000 Well, no, they could have very easily released this, given us some information.
01:32:13.000 Were you surprised by the response immediately?
01:32:16.000 Google started the search, had like a blacked out thing saying, hey, the data...
01:32:20.000 Alright, so look, we will get to the rest of that.
01:32:21.000 We know the debate is back here.
01:32:23.000 You'll have to wait just a minute to hear his answer to my question about if he was surprised by what happened to our coverage.
01:32:29.000 But let's go back to the debate right now and Governor Ron DeSantis.
01:32:35.000 I'm going to speak to the fact that two people hit me and you didn't let me respond.
01:32:39.000 So let's first talk about the fact that they want to talk about the Chinese land from 10 years ago.
01:32:45.000 Yes, I brought a fiberglass company 10 years ago.
01:32:50.000 You are the chair of your economic development agency that, as of last week, said Florida is the ideal place for Chinese businesses.
01:33:00.000 Not only that, you have a company that is manufacturer of Chinese military planes.
01:33:06.000 I'd actually like to see him just smirk right now.
01:33:09.000 He's like, this bitch.
01:33:10.000 I know, look at him.
01:33:11.000 He's got the goods on her.
01:33:12.000 Here we go.
01:33:12.000 He scrubbed the website last week.
01:33:14.000 Then you have another company that's expanding and they were just invaded by the Department
01:33:19.000 of Homeland Security.
01:33:21.000 So mine was 10 years ago.
01:33:22.000 He's got the goods on her.
01:33:23.000 I didn't give them anything.
01:33:24.000 What's your story?
01:33:25.000 And I abolished that agency that she's talking about.
01:33:26.000 Enterprise Florida, we abolished it and of course we banned China from buying land.
01:33:27.000 He scrubbed the website last week.
01:33:28.000 Go check.
01:33:29.000 Not exactly a great recruiting pitch if you're banning them from purchasing land at all.
01:33:30.000 You scrubbed the website last week.
01:33:31.000 You know what, I'll take it.
01:33:32.000 It's not a bad thing.
01:33:33.000 I'm not going to take it.
01:33:39.000 We stood up for them.
01:33:40.000 Kim Bassett, hey, hey, hey.
01:33:42.000 It's a catfight between DeSantis and Nikki Haley, so... Drink and DeSantis won.
01:33:47.000 How do you get TikTok banned if you use it?
01:33:50.000 Well, I want to laugh at why Nikki Haley didn't answer your question, which is about looking at families in the eye.
01:33:55.000 Catfight!
01:33:55.000 In the last edition... Bring up the drinking game rules really quickly while you keep it in the lower third.
01:33:59.000 Catfight is a drink.
01:34:00.000 You might want to take care of your family first.
01:34:06.000 Why are they booing him?
01:34:07.000 Can someone let us know why they're booing him really quickly?
01:34:09.000 Sorry guys, we were.
01:34:10.000 You brought it in here because this guy was anti-censorship before.
01:34:12.000 We're crapping her up, that's fine.
01:34:13.000 Here's the truth.
01:34:14.000 Can someone let us know why they're booing him really quickly?
01:34:15.000 Sorry, I don't know if you were.
01:34:16.000 I'm actually to say that we're just going to ban one app.
01:34:18.000 We got to go further.
01:34:19.000 We have to ban any U.S. company actually transferring U.S.
01:34:24.000 data to the Chinese.
01:34:25.000 Here's a story most people don't know.
01:34:27.000 You've got a great answer because this guy was anti-censorship before.
01:34:29.000 He's making it clear that's a national security issue.
01:34:32.000 Banning a foreign government from using Americans' private information.
01:34:35.000 YOU PEOPLE WHO THINK YOU'RE GONNA CATCH CONSERVATIVES WITH YOUR PRO-FREE SPEECH UNTIL WE GET IT.
01:34:39.000 YOU GET SOME VIEWS ON TIKTOK WITH YOUR GENDER BENDER BULLSHIT.
01:34:42.000 This is a good answer and it's consistent.
01:34:44.000 You can't be fair weather fans of the right policy.
01:34:47.000 Get to the root cause.
01:34:49.000 Even US companies in Silicon Valley are regularly doing it.
01:34:53.000 Cut the virtue signaling.
01:34:55.000 The fact of the matter is Democrats are on TikTok today.
01:34:58.000 The only person, one of the few people who is putting up content the way the actual algorithms work,
01:35:02.000 speaking for pro-Israel views or others.
01:35:04.000 Yeah.
01:35:05.000 We don't speak to them in some way.
01:35:06.000 More Republicans will join it, but stop US companies from doing it.
01:35:09.000 So what he said was about her daughter, and I think she said something to the effect of
01:35:12.000 leave my daughter out of it, and I think there was some booze because he had mentioned her.
01:35:16.000 And I think he said, my point was the next generation is using this.
01:35:19.000 We don't speak to them in some way.
01:35:21.000 She still has that feminist in her, so she has to feign offense.
01:35:24.000 Don't insult my daughter.
01:35:26.000 Against North Korea in a generation.
01:35:28.000 We are the, that is literally the reason North Korea stopped testing ballistic missiles.
01:35:33.000 So I said China did good on their part.
01:35:35.000 That was a negotiation.
01:35:36.000 You could never.
01:35:37.000 You said Nikki, those are your words, not mine.
01:35:39.000 It's just own up to it.
01:35:40.000 You would never.
01:35:41.000 You can change your mind.
01:35:42.000 That's allowed.
01:35:43.000 But don't lie to the people about.
01:35:44.000 This is like a pissed off IndyCar.
01:35:45.000 My entire career at the United Nations.
01:35:49.000 Every day I fought China.
01:35:50.000 And I did it by making sure no one could get any agency heads in the UN.
01:35:55.000 I did it by making sure that we called them out on human rights.
01:36:00.000 I did it by making sure that we held them accountable on everything that they did.
01:36:04.000 That's the reason we got out of the Human Rights Council.
01:36:06.000 That's the reason we called them out.
01:36:07.000 and I have there's nothing to say I haven't Nikki, I noticed your experience wasn't the short term
01:36:12.000 coffee experience with the millions you made afterwards
01:36:14.000 Everybody else is hanging on to the rules I think that warrants another, by the way, ding drink
01:36:17.000 That's been the deadliest rule of tonight's drinking game as far as alcohol poisoning.
01:36:21.000 We thought there'd be some, but I didn't know it would be entirely a catfight.
01:36:24.000 Quiet.
01:36:25.000 Cap the ambience on.
01:36:28.000 He walked outside of his podium.
01:36:30.000 It's like hey, there's a mic there sir.
01:36:32.000 He tried to ban TikTok twice but was struck down by our federal courts.
01:36:37.000 You cannot ban TikTok.
01:36:39.000 Yeah, exactly.
01:36:39.000 His solutions just aren't very implementable.
01:36:41.000 on the app, period.
01:36:43.000 We also should provide, in my parents' bill of rights, we give parents the opportunity
01:36:48.000 to give their kids permission under 14 to be on those apps.
01:36:53.000 I think it's incredibly important for us as Americans to take back control of the information,
01:36:59.000 especially of our kids.
01:37:01.000 Good luck with that.
01:37:01.000 His solutions just aren't very implementable.
01:37:04.000 That's his problem.
01:37:05.000 The way that we get to know that.
01:37:06.000 It almost seems a little myopic.
01:37:08.000 It seems like he's kind of, he thinks he's Ronald Reagan speaking to people in the 80s who aren't aware of how technology works.
01:37:13.000 Comment below if you think so or use the hashtag Credor Debate Night.
01:37:17.000 Is it Credor GOP Debate?
01:37:19.000 They gave me the wrong one.
01:37:21.000 We have to make sure that we use the tools that are in our tool kit.
01:37:27.000 from by farmland near our bases.
01:37:29.000 Nikki Haley knows all about tools.
01:37:30.000 There's a power tool, a chip of tooth.
01:37:32.000 They stopped stealing our intellectual property.
01:37:35.000 They're literally stealing our IP to compete against us.
01:37:40.000 My administration, we stopped.
01:37:42.000 Intellectual property, Chris Christie's safe.
01:37:43.000 And we start making sure that we correct.
01:37:46.000 In fairness to the Chinese, I used to steal their intellectual property during a test.
01:37:50.000 Yes.
01:37:51.000 We all do.
01:37:52.000 We all do.
01:37:53.000 Thank you so much.
01:37:54.000 Don't worry, we all do.
01:37:56.000 Millions have fled political and economic turmoil.
01:37:59.000 Many Venezuelan immigrants are settling right here in Florida.
01:38:03.000 Former President Trump and President Biden have taken different approaches to Nicolás Maduro's regime with little result.
01:38:09.000 Former President Trump put economic pressure on Venezuela and backed one of Maduro's rivals.
01:38:15.000 President Biden temporarily eased sanctions to encourage electoral reforms.
01:38:20.000 And Bernie Sanders praised their breadlines.
01:38:22.000 ...situation in Venezuela as a threat to the United States, and what would your approach be?
01:38:27.000 We should never... You guys, remember, bring up that old Bernie clip.
01:38:31.000 People don't realize he praised the breadlines.
01:38:33.000 That's not a joke.
01:38:34.000 Yeah, what did he say?
01:38:35.000 That's a good thing.
01:38:36.000 They're waiting for the bread.
01:38:37.000 Waiting for the bread.
01:38:38.000 That's a good thing.
01:38:39.000 They said, are you sure about this?
01:38:40.000 He said, oh, son of a bitch!
01:38:42.000 Stop cutting me off when I answer about Chavez!
01:38:48.000 We're gonna lower energy costs, but we're also gonna be more energy independent and
01:38:52.000 secure. We'll choose Midland over Moscow, we'll choose the Marcellus over the Mulas,
01:38:57.000 and we'll choose Bakken over Beijing. That is good for America's national security.
01:39:02.000 Biden's Green New Deal, that's good for Venezuela, it's good for Russia,
01:39:07.000 it's good for Iran, and it's good for China.
01:39:09.000 So I would turn the screws on the Venezuelan regime.
01:39:12.000 I think it's a corrupt, dictatorial regime, and we should never go hat in hand begging for oil from them.
01:39:23.000 Absolutely.
01:39:23.000 Ambassador, what would your approach be?
01:39:26.000 I stood on the Simon Boulevard Bridge and watched thousands of Venezuelans cross for hours in the hot sun holding their babies to get the one meal they might get that day going from Venezuela to Colombia.
01:39:38.000 They were fleeing socialism and begging for freedom.
01:39:41.000 We need to make sure that we do everything we can to sanction Maduro.
01:39:45.000 We shouldn't be getting dirty oil and Biden just gave 500,000 Venezuelans By the way, that's why I won't get gas from 7-Eleven, unless they changed it.
01:39:54.000 It's dirty?
01:39:55.000 It was largely Venezuelan oil.
01:39:57.000 Is that Venezuelan oil?
01:39:58.000 I can't remember if it was 7-Eleven and Citgo, or they swapped at one point, but 7-Eleven, a lot of their pumps were getting oil from Venezuela.
01:40:04.000 We don't need oil from anyone else!
01:40:05.000 We do not need petroleum products from anywhere outside the United States.
01:40:09.000 That is a huge failure of American policy.
01:40:12.000 It's a huge failure of the Biden administration.
01:40:17.000 Of American policy, period.
01:40:18.000 Barack Obama, same thing with George W. Bush.
01:40:20.000 There is no reason that we should not be drilling, for example, in Alaska.
01:40:24.000 For the first time under Donald Trump, we were a net oil exporter.
01:40:27.000 That was the first time it happened in our lifetime.
01:40:28.000 When's the last time you heard fracking?
01:40:32.000 Not since he killed the Keystone pipeline.
01:40:34.000 Sorry, Keystone XL.
01:40:35.000 So they go, it's bad for the environment, so let's get it from Venezuela.
01:40:43.000 ...that, of course, is the economy.
01:40:44.000 This is a question that will go to all of you.
01:40:47.000 An Iowa voter recently told NBC News, how am I going to make sure my pantry's stocked without breaking the bank?
01:40:53.000 Really quickly, I think this is probably a good time to go to it.
01:40:55.000 Donald Trump talking about... I said, look, what's the top clip so far from Donald Trump, and I think it has to do with... Him slugging a lady in the head.
01:41:03.000 Do you have it?
01:41:03.000 Yeah, I got it.
01:41:04.000 Let's do it.
01:41:04.000 Alright, let's go.
01:41:05.000 Bring up the Donald Trump clip now.
01:41:07.000 The radical left Democrats rigged the presidential election of 2020 and we're not going to allow
01:41:13.000 them to rig the presidential election.
01:41:16.000 We're going to have to do it.
01:41:43.000 That's what we say up here in heaven.
01:41:53.000 He did mention Fred, his brother up there.
01:41:56.000 And you know that Nick, they also called me from hell.
01:41:58.000 They said Nikki Haley's knocking at the gate.
01:42:01.000 She's trying to sell her body.
01:42:04.000 Cheap whore Nikki Haley is what I think.
01:42:08.000 In high heels.
01:42:08.000 Somebody tell him.
01:42:10.000 to hear the borrow from China plan that is embedded the made in America strategy
01:42:16.000 creates 10 million new jobs somebody tell me different areas one is him that
01:42:22.000 Obama fucked it up for all black and by the way we're talking about this economy
01:42:25.000 think people they try and change the job numbers We can bring these up as overlays here.
01:42:29.000 They just had a new jobs report from Biden.
01:42:31.000 Okay.
01:42:32.000 So look, I understand that you might look at a number, for example, unemployment 3.9.
01:42:34.000 Think that's great.
01:42:36.000 Well, you're not taking into account under Biden, because you are living, obviously, the economy, and you know that you are worse off.
01:42:41.000 Most Americans know that they are worse off.
01:42:43.000 Here's how you know that's true.
01:42:44.000 When even NBC is asking the question, predicated on the premise that, okay, people are struggling economically, so how are you going to improve it?
01:42:53.000 That was not the question.
01:42:54.000 When they were asking these questions for the debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, they were asking about COVID and how they were going to bring back the economy.
01:43:00.000 They would not have had that question to ask.
01:43:02.000 So 3.9 doesn't seem that bad.
01:43:04.000 Until you take into account the labor force participation rate, how many people are working one, two, three part-time jobs, and when you also look at the difference between the public sector versus private job growth.
01:43:14.000 There's something called shovel-ready jobs.
01:43:16.000 Barack Obama used it.
01:43:17.000 We've used the example of the trees in northern Michigan.
01:43:19.000 Where they just said, grab a shovel, plant some trees.
01:43:21.000 And they were planted so close together, because these people had no business planting trees, that we call them up north trees.
01:43:26.000 As you get toward, people know, Traverse City, Leelanau Peninsula.
01:43:29.000 It looks like the Mario level with the mushroom caps.
01:43:32.000 Yeah.
01:43:32.000 Because they didn't know how to plant trees, but that counted as a job.
01:43:35.000 So the most striking difference to me is if you look at the public sector job growth, okay?
01:43:39.000 Well, let's go to private sector first.
01:43:40.000 Under Donald Trump, when we compare quarters for quarters on the jobs report, he added 128,000 jobs in the private sector.
01:43:45.000 Biden added 99,000 jobs.
01:43:48.000 Okay.
01:43:50.000 And 96 of those are in China.
01:43:51.000 And the public sector?
01:43:52.000 Biden added 51,000 jobs, meaning your taxes are paying for new so-called jobs like IRS agents, employees.
01:43:59.000 Donald Trump reduced it by 3,000.
01:44:02.000 It was a net loss of 3,000 public sector jobs.
01:44:05.000 Huge, huge.
01:44:06.000 So he had a lower unemployment rate, he had a lower part-time employment rate, he had more private job growth that wasn't even close, and he actually was the first president that I know in modern history who reduced The size of the public sector.
01:44:19.000 Plus 51,000 jobs with Joe Biden in the public sector.
01:44:23.000 Mostly IRS.
01:44:25.000 Minus 3,000 under Donald Trump, and he still had better job performances.
01:44:28.000 Something else to know, Donald Trump's jobs, his jobs reports, when those came out, the economic reports, they always had to adjust them later on because the numbers were higher than they initially reported.
01:44:38.000 Surprise!
01:44:38.000 They've always had to adjust Joe Biden, former Vice President Biden's, later on because they're lower than suggested.
01:44:44.000 This time too.
01:44:44.000 Exactly.
01:44:45.000 And that's a consistent through line.
01:44:46.000 Not once or twice.
01:44:49.000 Yeah, well, Donald Trump, the wages went up close to $5,000.
01:44:52.000 People under eight years of Obama, it was about $1,200.
01:44:56.000 With Joe Biden, the actual wage, it's been a wage decrease when you adjust for inflation because the inflation has been so bad.
01:45:02.000 It's not just what they say.
01:45:04.000 They're asking this question.
01:45:05.000 NBC, on the premise that of course people are struggling and making less money.
01:45:09.000 Let's go hear DeSantis and his cowboy boots.
01:45:11.000 Wrong.
01:45:12.000 Abolish the Fed, get rid of them.
01:45:13.000 They should focus on nothing.
01:45:14.000 Yep.
01:45:14.000 That is gonna give the economy breathing room and I'm also gonna rein in the Federal Reserve
01:45:19.000 They have helped create with their reckless monetary policy what we have faced since the kovat 19 pandemic
01:45:27.000 They botched it Congress botched it both parties are to blame
01:45:30.000 Fed should focus on stable prices. They are not an economic abolish the Fed get rid of them. They should focus on
01:45:37.000 nothing. Yep Trying to do that
01:45:40.000 Ways that you can improve people's financial condition in the short term
01:45:43.000 Great job, nobody will get it.
01:45:44.000 The economic question is core to my vision and policy prescription for this country.
01:45:49.000 Increase the supply of everything.
01:45:51.000 It's the law of supplies and demand.
01:45:53.000 Increase the supply of energy.
01:45:54.000 That brings down the cost of energy, grows the economy.
01:45:57.000 Drill, frack, burn coal, embrace nuclear.
01:46:00.000 Increase the supply of labor in this country.
01:46:03.000 Stop using our taxpayer money to pay people more to stay at home instead of to go to work.
01:46:09.000 Increase the supply of housing.
01:46:11.000 People don't talk about this one in the Republican Party.
01:46:13.000 The land use restrictions are constricting the supply of housing.
01:46:16.000 That's making housing more expensive for ordinary Americans across this country.
01:46:21.000 So that's the true answer.
01:46:22.000 And I think it takes a CEO in the White House who actually understands this to get this done.
01:46:27.000 Because Americans at home, they know the Bidenomics is a lie.
01:46:30.000 Prices are going up.
01:46:31.000 Massive.
01:46:31.000 and mortgages to buy your home are going up.
01:46:34.000 But wages have remained flat.
01:46:36.000 That's the hard diagnosis for our economy.
01:46:39.000 And this is about more than just our economy.
01:46:40.000 I say this as a member of my generation.
01:46:43.000 I'm 38 years old.
01:46:44.000 I'm the youngest person ever to run for US president as a Republican.
01:46:47.000 The reason my generation has lost our sense of national pride
01:46:51.000 in part is because people in my generation feel like the American dream isn't available to them.
01:46:56.000 And part of the reason why is we burden them with four-year college degrees that did not serve their head start on the American dream.
01:47:03.000 People will be more proud of a country if we're all making more money in that country.
01:47:08.000 This is how we revive national pride in our identity, and it will take a CEO in the White House with zero-based budgeting, by the way, to take on the federal debt to get this job done.
01:47:20.000 Let me step on your applause, Mr. Morrison.
01:47:22.000 The premise of the question, and I agree with Tim on this, is absolutely energy is the key to this, because it drives every one of those other prices.
01:47:30.000 And you're brimming with it.
01:47:31.000 Now food gets to your grocery store, it gets trucked.
01:47:34.000 And those truckers have to pay for fuel, for the higher fuel prices.
01:47:37.000 And when you go ahead and you tell people, we are going to unleash every bit of American energy, Every bit of its potential.
01:47:47.000 What happens in the futures markets?
01:47:49.000 The prices go down because those people who are believing that the Biden program will continue are the ones who are bidding this up.
01:47:55.000 And let me take the other place that's bidding it up in the Middle East.
01:47:59.000 And so if you don't believe that making sure that Israel and that Israel situation that's going on right now.
01:48:06.000 Two drinks because the I stand with Israel schtick and the fake tough guy schtick.
01:48:12.000 Drink.
01:48:12.000 Bring up the drinking game rules so people know.
01:48:14.000 I'm sorry that our rules are so affected.
01:48:17.000 well in what they see as a response to a crisis when it's really what it's in
01:48:20.000 response to is putting more money in their pockets. We have an American president who knows
01:48:25.000 that Israel must be defended not with humanitarian pauses and not with
01:48:30.000 suggestions for ceasefire but with letting them know we will supply them
01:48:34.000 with everything they need that will also bring stability to the market. Energy is the
01:48:39.000 key to bringing this down.
01:48:40.000 It's what every American family needs when they turn on their lights, fill up their car, and go to the grocery store.
01:48:46.000 And we need to do that first and foremost.
01:48:48.000 That's the short-term answer.
01:48:49.000 Governor Christie, thank you.
01:48:50.000 Ambassador Haley, let me come at this from a slightly different direction.
01:48:53.000 Americans in rural communities are being especially squeezed by inflation right now.
01:48:58.000 An Iowa State University study found that last year inflation cost rural households about an extra $5,000.
01:49:06.000 How would you specifically help rural Americans who are suffering right now, Ambassador?
01:49:10.000 Well, I'm a product of rural America.
01:49:12.000 I grew up in rural South Carolina.
01:49:14.000 And I can tell you what we're seeing now in America is the rich are getting richer and
01:49:17.000 the poor are getting poorer.
01:49:19.000 We have to go and start beefing up the middle class.
01:49:22.000 And the first thing I would do is I will eliminate the federal gas and diesel tax in this country.
01:49:28.000 We'll cut taxes on the middle class.
01:49:30.000 But we have to stop this spending binge that's happening by Republicans and Democrats in
01:49:34.000 Congress.
01:49:35.000 I will make sure, one, we claw back the $500 billion of unspent COVID dollars that are
01:49:41.000 Instead of 87,000 IRS agents going after Middle America, we'll go after the hundreds of billions of dollars of COVID fraud that exist, one out of every $7.
01:49:50.000 We'll stop the spending, we'll stop the borrowing, we'll eliminate the earmarks, and I'll veto any spending bill that doesn't go back to pre-COVID levels.
01:49:58.000 That will cut No you won't.
01:50:00.000 I just can't listen to a woman talk about not spending money.
01:50:04.000 How much does that top cost you?
01:50:07.000 Tim Scott just told a dirty joke to the vague.
01:50:09.000 you a number, Hugh, on the amount of ships in the Navy is because in a few years our
01:50:15.000 interest expense is going to be more than our defense budget.
01:50:19.000 So no one can give you that number realistically without first tackling what's happening.
01:50:32.000 It is a national security concern.
01:50:35.000 If we don't deal with what's going to happen with that interest expense in a few years, we're going to look like Japan.
01:50:40.000 joke. Kim Scott. Oh my god you get them done already.
01:50:55.000 I think they've done a pretty good job tonight, NBC.
01:50:57.000 I agree.
01:50:58.000 Not bad.
01:51:01.000 Governor Christie, first to you, you have proposed raising the retirement age for younger Americans.
01:51:06.000 What would that age be specifically?
01:51:08.000 He's not going to make it. 105.
01:51:10.000 Sure, and we have to deal with this problem.
01:51:13.000 Now look, if we raise the retirement age a few years for folks that are in their 30s and 40s, I have a son who's in the audience tonight that's 30 years old.
01:51:22.000 If he can't adjust to a few year increase in social security retirement age over the next 40 years, I've got bigger problems with him than his social security payments.
01:51:31.000 The fact is, we need to be realistic about this.
01:51:34.000 There are only three things that go into this.
01:51:39.000 Retirement age, eligibility for the program in general, and taxes.
01:51:43.000 That's it.
01:51:44.000 We are already overtaxed in this country, and we should not raise those taxes.
01:51:48.000 But on eligibility also, I don't know if out there tonight, and if you're watching Warren, I don't know if Warren Buffett is collecting Social Security.
01:51:57.000 But if he is, shame on you, you shouldn't be taking the money.
01:52:00.000 There are a lot of programs in this country that we all pay for, that we don't get a direct benefit from.
01:52:06.000 Food stamps is one of them.
01:52:08.000 I've never fortunately in my life ever had me or my family on food stamps.
01:52:12.000 You ate the food stamps.
01:52:13.000 It's true.
01:52:14.000 Government cheese.
01:52:15.000 So that no one in this country goes to bed hungry at night if they have availability
01:52:18.000 to that program.
01:52:19.000 Too easy.
01:52:20.000 Too easy.
01:52:21.000 They live on your block?
01:52:22.000 Security, remember why it was established.
01:52:24.000 I went for a snack.
01:52:25.000 It's all gone.
01:52:26.000 Always.
01:52:27.000 No one would grow old in this country in poverty.
01:52:30.000 That's what we gotta get back to.
01:52:31.000 Because Kristi moves in at the food desert.
01:52:33.000 Social Security.
01:52:34.000 Governor, can you give me some...
01:52:35.000 Because I woke up last night, I had pizza crust on my chest.
01:52:37.000 Cut Social Security.
01:52:39.000 They don't want to talk about social security.
01:52:41.000 If I'm not mistaken, you guys can bring it up, I did a video on this a long time ago where I reported social security to the SEC.
01:52:47.000 I believe it was 16 workers per retiree when they launched it and the average life expectancy was about 67 years old.
01:52:55.000 Now I believe it's 3 workers per retiree and the average life expectancy is 75 years old.
01:53:00.000 Ponzi scheme is where you have a financial plan, think of like a pyramid scheme where
01:53:04.000 it requires new people, right, new people to pay into the scheme to pay out the initial
01:53:08.000 investors and the new people won't be paid out.
01:53:10.000 That is social security but it's a third rail that even GOP candidates don't really want
01:53:14.000 to touch because a lot of old people vote for them.
01:53:16.000 So I'm curious to see if anyone here says, look, it's insolvent.
01:53:20.000 You go and you say we're going to change the rules.
01:53:22.000 You change the retirement age for them.
01:53:23.000 Instead of cost of living increases, we should go to increases based on inflation.
01:53:28.000 We should limit benefits on the wealthy.
01:53:31.000 Bernie Marcus can tell you he hates getting that check.
01:53:33.000 Limit the benefits on the wealthy.
01:53:36.000 And then expand Medicare Advantage plans.
01:53:38.000 Seniors love that.
01:53:39.000 And let's make sure we do that.
01:53:40.000 Sounds like Bernie.
01:53:41.000 More competition.
01:53:42.000 That's how we'll deal with entitlement reform, and that's how we'll start to pay down this debt.
01:53:46.000 And can you give me a specific age?
01:53:47.000 Have you determined the age?
01:53:48.000 Again, you have to work with... Chris, what I can tell you is it's going to be those in their 20s just coming into the system, and it should reflect more of life expectancy.
01:53:57.000 It doesn't do that now.
01:53:58.000 Alright, Mr. Ramaswamy, have you determined... Oh, he's going to give a clear answer.
01:54:02.000 He's going to say it's not a thing.
01:54:04.000 What kind of reforms are you looking at?
01:54:05.000 So this is really important right now.
01:54:07.000 We're working within the last window, I believe, we will have to actually fix this problem
01:54:12.000 while still leaving Social Security and Medicare benefits for current seniors intact.
01:54:16.000 I'll tell you how.
01:54:18.000 The other candidates assume, like Nikki, that it can't be done.
01:54:20.000 And on her math, she's right about it.
01:54:22.000 But her math assumes $7 trillion of our $33 trillion national debt going to fight wars
01:54:28.000 like in places like Iraq and Afghanistan.
01:54:31.000 Minus that, our national debt would be $26 trillion right now.
01:54:36.000 Then you go to zero-based budgeting, which I've proposed as a CEO.
01:54:39.000 It's how I've run businesses.
01:54:40.000 It's how many CEOs run businesses.
01:54:42.000 This is very important in comparison to baseline budgeting.
01:54:45.000 Ever heard of construction season on roads?
01:54:47.000 ...as the baseline, and then ask what's actually necessary.
01:54:50.000 75% headcount reduction.
01:54:52.000 Yes, that is severe.
01:54:53.000 In the number of federal employees in the Washington, D.C.
01:54:56.000 bureaucracy.
01:54:57.000 Shut down redundant agencies that should not exist.
01:55:00.000 Deliver economic growth as a positive tailwind.
01:55:03.000 I think we can get to 3, 4, maybe even 5% GDP growth if we really take the regulatory shackles off of our economy.
01:55:11.000 We had that for several quarters under Donald Trump.
01:55:13.000 You guys can bring it up.
01:55:14.000 How many quarters did we have that were well over 3%?
01:55:16.000 I knew well over 4% for quite a few of them.
01:55:19.000 Including sacrificing the foreign wars that many bloodthirsty members of both parties have a hunger for.
01:55:25.000 That's the one secret for how we're going to be able to do this and that requires discipline.
01:55:29.000 So we can't have the first conversation we were having sending foreign aid willy-nilly to countries whose national debt per capita is less than ours.
01:55:38.000 But if we do this correctly, I think this is our last window and it'll take a CEO from the next generation to do it.
01:55:43.000 Look, this is unpopular.
01:55:44.000 It's a very difficult issue for people to tackle because at some point you have to rip the Band-Aid off.
01:55:47.000 Did they bring in the retiree per active worker stat?
01:55:51.000 Not yet.
01:55:51.000 I believe it was 16-1 and it went to 3-1 when I did this video in 2011 maybe, 2010.
01:55:59.000 It comes down to this.
01:56:00.000 Do you really believe in the vision where they say, hey, yeah, we're not going to touch your social security and this is something we can do forever, or do you understand that it's simply a program that was created at a time when life expectancy was different, the entitlement programs that we had as a general rule were different, our policing the world was very different, and our debt was not at the level that it is now.
01:56:19.000 You have to acknowledge the reality, and I get it.
01:56:21.000 You have a lot of boomer voters, and I'm not insulting boomers, who say, well, I paid in.
01:56:25.000 Well, guess what?
01:56:26.000 So are people now.
01:56:27.000 Especially millennials who are 40 who've been paying in.
01:56:31.000 And the only way that they get paid out is if you raid something else.
01:56:34.000 You need to grab another slush fund.
01:56:36.000 That's really what we're talking about.
01:56:37.000 So people don't want to address this head-on.
01:56:39.000 Remember Rick Perry got in a lot of trouble because he said that Social Security was a problem.
01:56:43.000 Mitt Romney went after him.
01:56:44.000 I really would like to see a shift away from that with the GOP.
01:56:47.000 And Vivek is the only one who answered that in a way that, frankly, is somewhat reality-based.
01:56:52.000 Let me know when they bring in those numbers.
01:57:12.000 It's the idea that there's an ideal point where you tax people, where you generate maximum revenue.
01:57:16.000 I believe his is somewhere around 30%.
01:57:19.000 And there's also something that's more interesting I find, Hauser's Law.
01:57:21.000 I believe it's H-A-U-S-E-R, Hauser's Law, where if you look at the amount of taxes that have been collected over the last several decades, it still is averaged pretty consistently overall.
01:57:30.000 When you average it across income, across value-added tax, all of that.
01:57:35.000 16 to 20 percent.
01:57:36.000 Let's average it somewhere around 18 percent.
01:57:38.000 The revenue collected doesn't change if you increase the taxes.
01:57:42.000 It remains remarkably stable as a byproduct of GDP, regardless of the income tax.
01:57:48.000 It stabilizes because if people have higher income tax, they spend less.
01:57:51.000 It ends up being around that number, between 16 To 20%, kind of, no matter what you do.
01:57:57.000 This is something that's boring, a lot of people don't want to discuss, but as a matter of tax policy, it is an unavoidable reality.
01:58:04.000 So if you could just tax people up to 90%, like Bernie Sanders said was a good thing, and that would generate 90% more revenue, great.
01:58:10.000 It doesn't work.
01:58:11.000 So right now, look up Hauser's Law.
01:58:13.000 We have a reference at ladderwithcredit.com.
01:58:17.000 That's a valid point.
01:58:18.000 What can you do to help shore up Social Security?
01:58:20.000 One of the things that's causing problems is the inflation.
01:58:23.000 promise made, promise kept.
01:58:24.000 I understand what you're going through with the rising- That's a screwdriver, I'm more of a flathead man, but it's
01:58:30.000 fine.
01:58:31.000 We'll make sure to get that done.
01:58:32.000 What can you do to help shore up Social Security?
01:58:34.000 One of the things that's causing problems is the inflation.
01:58:38.000 We have to reduce inflation.
01:58:40.000 I'm going to be very brief and do this.
01:58:42.000 So, retiree ratio 1940, 42 workers per retiree.
01:58:46.000 It's even worse than you thought.
01:58:47.000 3 to 1 now is correct by 2050, down to 2 to 1.
01:58:50.000 Okay.
01:58:50.000 ...get to at least 3% growth.
01:58:52.000 You're never going to be able to have issues... You can admonish me later.
01:58:56.000 I said 16 to 1, but I guarantee you that's a study somewhere that had a leftist slant.
01:59:00.000 No, I know, but I still deserve to be admonished because I didn't point out the severity, but that's because Mr. Napsalot over here... You won it.
01:59:05.000 Okay.
01:59:06.000 2018 Q2 GDP growth under Trump 4.1%.
01:59:11.000 4.1%.
01:59:13.000 They're acting like that's something they can aspire to that's pie in the sky.
01:59:16.000 It was a reality under Donald Trump.
01:59:18.000 Think about that.
01:59:19.000 They're saying they could maybe get what I did all the time.
01:59:23.000 Imagine if I had four more years.
01:59:25.000 Imagine that.
01:59:26.000 Look, that filthy whore Nikki Haley doesn't have a chance.
01:59:30.000 Maybe 2% GDP.
01:59:32.000 That's generous.
01:59:32.000 A lot of people... St.
01:59:33.000 Peter told me from heaven, bitch can't get 2.5% GDP.
01:59:36.000 By the way, since we're talking about Trump, clip Lil Pump real quick, Tim.
01:59:42.000 Alright, let's do this.
01:59:42.000 Look, she's gonna have a puppet.
01:59:45.000 Rapper Lil Pump.
01:59:48.000 Lil Pump.
01:59:49.000 L-I-L.
01:59:50.000 Lil.
01:59:51.000 I love it!
01:59:52.000 I said, how do you pronounce that?
01:59:53.000 They say Lil.
01:59:56.000 I love it.
01:59:57.000 That was perfect!
01:59:58.000 All right, well look, hey, let's take a minute right now.
01:59:59.000 They're going to commercial break.
02:00:00.000 We have the rest of that interview with Vivek.
02:00:02.000 I believe that you can play what you had there.
02:00:05.000 If you can pull that up in just one second and we will make sure that we get back to this and any other Trump stuff that's coming up, right?
02:00:10.000 And send in into the chat if there's something you would like to see us cover between the Trump town hall, between his rally, sorry, and the debate.
02:00:17.000 If there's something we're missing, let us know because we answer To you, Mug Club, not to a bunch of corporate donors or big tech who I'm pretty sure are about to suspend us anyways over the Nashville Manifesto.
02:00:27.000 Let's go to America's favorite Indian and Gerald.
02:00:31.000 Obtained by the police, but were you surprised at the response?
02:00:35.000 Could have released this!
02:00:36.000 Well, no, they could have released this.
02:00:36.000 They could have very easily released this, given us some information.
02:00:39.000 Were you surprised by the response immediately?
02:00:41.000 Google started the search, had like a blacked out thing saying, hey, the data on this is changing very quickly.
02:00:46.000 They ended up pulling down YouTube videos for that.
02:00:48.000 Reddit ended up blocking users permanently for it.
02:00:50.000 We ended up having Facebook block it.
02:00:52.000 Like, immediately, big tech, poof, silence.
02:00:55.000 Can't talk about this, can't post it.
02:00:57.000 I think there's a difference between being surprised and appalled.
02:01:00.000 At this point I'm not surprised, but I'm nonetheless, unsurprised though I am, I'm still appalled.
02:01:07.000 And that's what moves me to want to lead this country, to set a tone from the top of the executive branch of the government to say we're done with this phase of our national history.
02:01:15.000 We will set an example.
02:01:16.000 Anytime a government actor is pressured, a private actor, to do something through the back door or silence something that the government couldn't do directly, we will publish it.
02:01:24.000 Roll that log over.
02:01:25.000 Let's see what crawls out.
02:01:26.000 It's gonna be ugly.
02:01:28.000 But we gotta see it first before we fix it.
02:01:30.000 Whether that's within this Republican Party, whether that's within the deep state of the federal government that I'll be running as the next president if I'm elected.
02:01:36.000 It's any sphere of our lives.
02:01:37.000 That's the example we have to set.
02:01:39.000 We the people handle the truth.
02:01:40.000 That's the first step.
02:01:42.000 Sometimes the truth is ugly.
02:01:43.000 You've got to see it if you're to fix it.
02:01:45.000 Anyway, man, I've probably got to rock and roll pretty soon.
02:01:50.000 Debate, we'll be back.
02:01:52.000 I'm going to pop into where we're sitting and see the kids a little bit, have some food with them, and then we'll be back in the debates tonight.
02:01:59.000 That sounds good, and we look forward to seeing it.
02:02:00.000 Look, if you're available post or would like to come back on to talk about how the debate went, let us know.
02:02:05.000 We'd love to have you, but thank you for taking a few minutes, and hope you get some rest, enjoy some family time, and have a great debate.
02:02:12.000 All right, man.
02:02:13.000 We'll tell everybody.
02:02:13.000 Tell Crowder and crew.
02:02:15.000 Appreciate it.
02:02:15.000 I will.
02:02:16.000 Thanks.
02:02:16.000 Thank you.
02:02:17.000 Take care.
02:02:22.000 Yeah, you like that?
02:02:23.000 Oh, yeah, yeah.
02:02:24.000 You actually hit it right on the spot.
02:02:25.000 Yeah, is that good?
02:02:26.000 Like, literally, that is the good stuff right there.
02:02:28.000 You want a little deeper?
02:02:29.000 Yeah, yeah, go deeper.
02:02:30.000 Deeper?
02:02:31.000 Oh, yeah.
02:02:32.000 Harder?
02:02:33.000 No, just a little harder.
02:02:34.000 Guys, what's going on here?
02:02:36.000 Uh, just nothing.
02:02:38.000 Just applying this CB Distillery stick to Yakuza's back.
02:02:42.000 Yeah, I got a kink in my back.
02:02:44.000 He's real kinky.
02:02:45.000 Which is I don't want to kink.
02:02:46.000 Shane, could you keep it down in a place of work or do it at home?
02:02:50.000 Yeah, sure, no problem.
02:02:52.000 We'll go somewhere else.
02:02:53.000 Yeah.
02:02:54.000 It's okay.
02:02:55.000 Wait.
02:02:56.000 Huh?
02:02:57.000 Is that my CB Distillery's take-out?
02:03:01.000 I've been looking everywhere for it.
02:03:02.000 You can keep it, though.
02:03:04.000 I'll just order my own and you can keep it.
02:03:09.000 And I'll order another one from CBDistillery.com if I use the promo code Trader.
02:03:14.000 It's 20% off.
02:03:14.000 Wow, that's a nice deal.
02:03:16.000 Do we all get that deal?
02:03:17.000 Can I get that deal?
02:03:18.000 Yeah, anyone can get that deal.
02:03:20.000 Nice!
02:03:20.000 I'll get one.
02:03:21.000 You can put it on my back.
02:03:23.000 Why would I do that?
02:03:24.000 Why would I get a new one at 20% off only to use it again on your hairy back?
02:03:28.000 Well, you're supposed to put it on my back and I put it on your cousin's back.
02:03:31.000 No one has to put it...
02:03:32.000 You have to back-to-back.
02:03:34.000 It's not an I do your back and you do Yakuza's back.
02:03:36.000 I don't want anything of mine touching your back.
02:03:38.000 That's not what I was told.
02:03:39.000 Ever.
02:03:39.000 I don't... Who's telling you anything?
02:03:41.000 What are you hearing?
02:03:43.000 There's people talking.
02:03:45.000 People?
02:03:45.000 Why?
02:03:45.000 They said... Well, it doesn't... I don't want to touch... Do you want me to put it on right now?
02:03:49.000 I don't want that.
02:03:50.000 I'm gonna order another one.
02:03:51.000 And no one's touching your back.
02:03:52.000 Alright.
02:03:54.000 Bye, Steven.
02:03:55.000 No.
02:03:57.000 No.
02:03:59.000 All right, we're actually going to take just a second.
02:04:17.000 The debate is coming back, but we're going to go to Donald Trump's rally right now in Florida as well.
02:04:22.000 Let's see what he's saying.
02:04:23.000 Republicans, by the way, anytime you have Anytime you have mail-in ballots, you are going to have really corrupt elections.
02:04:32.000 But until then, Republicans must win.
02:04:35.000 We have to win so we can do this.
02:04:38.000 And in conclusion, this is what we must do to restore our country to greatness.
02:04:43.000 Together, we're taking on some of the most menacing forces and vicious opponents our people have ever seen.
02:04:50.000 No matter how hateful or corrupt the communists and criminals we're fighting against may be, you must never forget this nation does not belong to them.
02:05:01.000 This nation belongs to you.
02:05:02.000 It belongs to the people with us tonight.
02:05:05.000 That's how we won.
02:05:07.000 This is your home, this is your heritage, and our American liberty is your God-given right.
02:05:15.000 From Tampa to Tallahassee, from Pensacola to Sarasota, From Gainesville to Jacksonville to Miami, we inherit the legacy of generations of American patriots who gave their blood, sweat, and tears to defend our country and to defend our freedom.
02:05:35.000 We stand on the shoulders of American heroes who crossed the oceans, blazed the trails, sailed the capitol, 1492.
02:05:43.000 Hey, you're getting it.
02:05:45.000 I can't do it.
02:05:46.000 I don't know how he does it.
02:05:48.000 Nobody thought it was possible.
02:05:50.000 I like that he harkens back to, like, the triumphs of our country and our culture.
02:05:54.000 He makes me believe in positive thinking, which I never believed in.
02:05:59.000 We whooped the world's butt again!
02:06:00.000 Yep.
02:06:00.000 of our country and our culture.
02:06:03.000 He makes me believe in positive thinking, which I never believed in.
02:06:07.000 We whooped the world's butt again.
02:06:09.000 Done it twice.
02:06:10.000 We went to the moon.
02:06:13.000 Here's the other thing about him.
02:06:15.000 He did all that as a novice.
02:06:18.000 Yeah.
02:06:19.000 Well, I mean, he didn't win World Wars as an Ivy.
02:06:20.000 No, I'm not talking about that.
02:06:21.000 I'm talking about what he accomplished.
02:06:23.000 All the shit that they're saying tonight on stage, he already did and he was brand new at it.
02:06:32.000 I don't think I'd be taking too many people's advice.
02:06:34.000 Yeah, which is fine.
02:06:39.000 Very sad.
02:06:40.000 Video behind me, sad.
02:06:41.000 Listen to the music.
02:06:41.000 Alright, let's go back to the debate really quickly.
02:06:45.000 Let's see what Tons of Fun has to say.
02:06:51.000 He's thinner this time.
02:06:52.000 back online there. Very sad. Video behind me, sad. Listen to the music. All right, let's go back to
02:06:57.000 the debate really quickly. Let's see what Tons of Fun has to say. He's dead at this time. I say it
02:07:02.000 lovingly. Sure. At the open ports of our border.
02:07:05.000 Customs and Border Patrol agents are overwhelmed.
02:07:08.000 There's 200,000 encounters a month over the last 11 months.
02:07:12.000 He's a big fella.
02:07:14.000 Look, I'm a big fella.
02:07:14.000 No, I'm not talking about that.
02:07:15.000 I just can't trust a Republican from the Northeast.
02:07:18.000 I can't trust a Republican who invited Obama there after Superstorm Sandy.
02:07:23.000 He gave him a French kiss on the beach right after that.
02:07:25.000 Pretty much did, yeah.
02:07:26.000 Remember that?
02:07:27.000 You remember that?
02:07:27.000 Gross.
02:07:28.000 Seriously.
02:07:30.000 Now, we also need to lower demand, Hugh, in this country.
02:07:34.000 And the way to lower demand is to start treating people again.
02:07:37.000 You know, we started to do this before COVID.
02:07:40.000 And we haven't done enough of it.
02:07:42.000 And for every family out there tonight who has lost a loved one, You'll never do it.
02:07:48.000 You'll never do it.
02:07:49.000 You'll never win the drug war.
02:07:51.000 Stop acting like you're going to win the drug war and get people to stop doing drugs.
02:07:55.000 States we're going to call this what it is. It is a disease like heart disease, diabetes,
02:08:00.000 or any other disease like cancer that can be treated, should be treated. We not only have
02:08:05.000 to stop supply, but we have to lower demand and save lives.
02:08:08.000 You'll never do it. You'll never do it. You'll never win the drug war. Stop acting like you're
02:08:12.000 going to win the drug war and get people to stop doing drugs. It's not going to happen. It
02:08:15.000 just pisses me off because like we're We've been saying that for 30 years, 40 years, 50 years.
02:08:23.000 Go back as far as you want to go.
02:08:25.000 You're not going to do it.
02:08:26.000 Don't give me pie in the sky.
02:08:28.000 Just say this is a battle that we're probably going to have to deal with for the rest of our lives and we're going to have to fight for our loved ones if we want to keep them from falling victim to this.
02:08:35.000 I have family members that have dealt with this.
02:08:37.000 I understand what it's like.
02:08:38.000 I don't need pie in the sky.
02:08:39.000 I need honest, real solutions and I need to understand the problem.
02:08:43.000 But don't tell me you're going to solve it.
02:08:44.000 Don't bring pie into it.
02:08:45.000 Are we talking about fentanyl?
02:08:46.000 Fentanyl, and the drug war, and what we're going to do for families.
02:08:49.000 We're going to treat this.
02:08:50.000 We're going to get it taken care of.
02:08:52.000 No, you're not.
02:08:53.000 Sorry.
02:08:54.000 I don't know if you guys brought up these stats, and I say this as, by the way, I just used the CB Distillery stick.
02:08:58.000 It's keeping me afloat.
02:08:59.000 So go to cbdistillery.com and enter the promo code Crowder.
02:09:03.000 By the way, I used it after the surgery when they weren't even a sponsor.
02:09:06.000 They're one of the best companies out there.
02:09:08.000 You can trust what's in there.
02:09:09.000 But I will say this, with fentanyl, the opioid crisis, everyone here And I say this because I know this is a really, really boring... Oh, I had it in the hospital.
02:09:16.000 It is good stuff.
02:09:18.000 Also, Dilaudid, morphine, everything.
02:09:23.000 They all have to treat this as though it's something we unilaterally agree upon.
02:09:25.000 This is an unpopular opinion, but if you do the research, look.
02:09:29.000 Opioid deaths have increased as prescribing has gone down.
02:09:33.000 The vast majority of opioid deaths are from illicit drugs that are not prescribed.
02:09:38.000 Just to be clear, street drugs.
02:09:39.000 And the vast majority of people who get addicted to opioids are people who are already addicted to another substance to begin with.
02:09:44.000 So, we need to be careful with them.
02:09:46.000 However, the idea that someone is now dying because of a fentanyl overdose that was prescribed to them because Timmy went in for a wisdom tooth removal and became a junkie blowing someone for a packet of Vicodin is not true.
02:09:58.000 That is not accurate.
02:10:00.000 And we now have doctors who won't even prescribe painkillers to people who will be in lifelong pain from, say, car wrecks or being, you know, trampled by a Chris Christie.
02:10:08.000 So we need to be honest.
02:10:10.000 About the problem that we're facing.
02:10:11.000 The problem we are facing is a drug trade.
02:10:13.000 It's a border crisis.
02:10:14.000 It is not doctors prescribing painkillers to people who need it.
02:10:18.000 I know a lot of, and this is not me in the pocket of Big Pharma, I think that some doctors are really nilly.
02:10:22.000 Of course, when we go back to Purdue, you look at Oxycontin, yep, they were over-prescribing it.
02:10:27.000 But we have let the pendulum swing too far the other way, and no one wants to actually call it out.
02:10:30.000 China sends the ingredients to Mexico, they put it together, bring it over.
02:10:37.000 It's an act of war.
02:10:38.000 Yes.
02:10:38.000 Once again, put the frickin' military... Enough talk about the wall.
02:10:43.000 Yeah.
02:10:43.000 Put the milit... That's where DeSantis... You know, I love the fact... Okay, sorry.
02:10:47.000 I went off on my soapbox, but let's...
02:10:50.000 catch and deport will go to catch and release.
02:10:52.000 I'm sorry, instead of catch and release, we'll go to catch and deport.
02:10:55.000 That is the way we'll deal with the border.
02:10:57.000 Those are the things that we have to do going forward.
02:10:59.000 But I do agree with Chris.
02:11:00.000 One of the first things that we have to do is really focus on mental health and addiction centers.
02:11:07.000 It is something that is needed in our country terribly because we don't deal with mental health.
02:11:12.000 And someone who doesn't get care for mental health falls into addiction, and we owe it to them
02:11:16.000 to treat it like the cancer that it is.
02:11:18.000 Mr. Ramaswamy.
02:11:21.000 Social forces.
02:11:22.000 Notice they always go to the vet whenever someone says cancer.
02:11:24.000 He's a bio guy, right?
02:11:25.000 Hold on a second, do you mean laced street drugs?
02:11:26.000 We're talking about this issue is, you know, like Ron, I've actually met many parents across
02:11:30.000 this country who have lost their kids to laced pharmaceuticals that have fentanyl in them.
02:11:35.000 The only thing I would ask Ron, I think you'd be on the same page with me on this.
02:11:38.000 Let's not even call that an overdose.
02:11:39.000 Do you mean laced street drugs?
02:11:41.000 Are you trying to say that someone's getting a Norco or a Vicodin laced with fentanyl?
02:11:45.000 No, we would not call that an overdose.
02:11:48.000 He'd call it what it is.
02:11:49.000 It's closer to bioterrorism.
02:11:52.000 And I say that because it uniquely relates to this crisis.
02:11:56.000 That does warrant more aggressive means to deal with it.
02:12:00.000 So there's a new presidential election in Mexico in 2024.
02:12:03.000 People may not be aware of that.
02:12:04.000 It's going to be someone other than Obrador, who has been a disaster in Mexico.
02:12:07.000 I think he's gonna mention me obliquely in speeches.
02:12:10.000 He's gonna steal the fentanyl.
02:12:11.000 He's gonna get out near the White House.
02:12:12.000 Roll, roll, roll.
02:12:13.000 Get out of the way.
02:12:14.000 White people, fentanyl, ahhh!
02:12:15.000 We can build a good relationship with that next president of Mexico.
02:12:20.000 We'll use our own military to seal our own southern border.
02:12:24.000 What we need to do is stop using our military to protect somebody else's border all the way around the world when we're short right here at home.
02:12:30.000 Get serious about protecting this border.
02:12:32.000 And then the other thing that hasn't been discussed is the northern border.
02:12:35.000 I'm the only candidate on the stage, as far as I'm aware.
02:12:36.000 Yeah, keep the Canadians out, eh?
02:12:38.000 The northern border.
02:12:40.000 There was enough fentanyl that was captured just on the northern border last year to kill three million Americans.
02:12:46.000 So we gotta just skate to where the puck is going.
02:12:48.000 Not just where the puck is.
02:12:50.000 Don't just build the wall, build both walls.
02:12:52.000 Can't just complete the wall, use the military to seal the Swiss cheese.
02:12:56.000 Thank you.
02:12:58.000 Cheese!
02:12:58.000 Winner.
02:12:59.000 Winner, chicken dinner.
02:13:00.000 Job done.
02:13:01.000 Thank you.
02:13:02.000 Kristen.
02:13:03.000 Thank you, Hugh.
02:13:06.000 Let's talk now about last night's election results.
02:13:09.000 Abortion rights supporters saw victories in Ohio and Virginia, following earlier wins in states like Kansas and Kentucky.
02:13:17.000 Governor DeSantis, first to you.
02:13:19.000 This is an opportunity for someone to cut through the fog and provide a very clear answer.
02:13:23.000 People try to make it seem like it's, oh abortion is just a losing issue.
02:13:26.000 It is a lack of direction, messaging, period, and being outspent.
02:13:30.000 I'm really curious to see how they answer this.
02:13:32.000 ...who was struggling in Jamaica about 40 years ago, 45 years ago... So I kicked her on the stomach.
02:13:37.000 ...to not have a baby because she was poor, baby wouldn't have opportunity, and she came close to having an abortion, but she decided to have the baby, born poor in Jamaica, and the reason I know that story is because that baby girl... That baby cuts my grass.
02:13:51.000 ...becoming a lawyer and a judge, and I appointed her to the Florida Supreme Court in August of 2022.
02:13:58.000 We're better off when everybody counts.
02:14:00.000 We're better off when we can promote a culture of life.
02:14:03.000 At the same time, I understand that some of these states are doing it a little bit different.
02:14:08.000 Texas is not going to do it the same as New Hampshire.
02:14:10.000 Iowa is not necessarily going to do it the same as Virginia.
02:14:13.000 So you got to work from the bottom up.
02:14:15.000 You got to do a better job on these referenda.
02:14:18.000 I think of all the stuff that's happened to the pro-life cause, they have been caught flat-footed on these referenda and they have been losing the referenda.
02:14:26.000 A lot of the people who are voting for the referenda are Republicans who would vote for
02:14:30.000 a Republican candidate.
02:14:31.000 So you gotta understand how to do that.
02:14:33.000 But let's just be clear, the Democrats have taken a position, they will not identify the
02:14:38.000 point at which there should be any protection all the way up until birth.
02:14:42.000 That is wrong and we cannot stand for that.
02:14:44.000 All right, Governor DeSantis, thank you.
02:14:46.000 Ambassador Haley, let me have you weigh in.
02:14:47.000 Former President Trump has consistently blamed the abortion issue and how Republican candidates have talked about it for their electoral losses.
02:14:55.000 How do you see the path forward?
02:14:57.000 I've said it before, I think you have to be honest with the American people.
02:15:00.000 This is a personal issue for every woman and every man.
02:15:04.000 I am unapologetically pro-life, not because the Republican Party tells me to be,
02:15:08.000 but because my husband Michael was adopted and I had trouble having both of my children.
02:15:12.000 So I'm surrounded by blessings.
02:15:14.000 Well, try putting it in your vagina.
02:15:16.000 Post-Roe, a wrong was made right.
02:15:19.000 They took it out of the hands of unelected justices, and they put it in the hands of the people.
02:15:23.000 And now we're seeing states vote.
02:15:25.000 And what I'll tell you is, as much as I'm pro-life, I don't judge anyone for being pro-choice, and I don't want them to judge me for being pro-life.
02:15:32.000 So when we're looking at this, there's some states that are on the pro-life side.
02:15:36.000 I welcome that.
02:15:37.000 There's some states that are going more on the pro-choice side.
02:15:40.000 I wish that wasn't the case, but the people decided.
02:15:43.000 But when it comes to the federal law, which is what's being debated here, be honest, it's going to take 60 Senate votes, a majority of the House, and a president to sign it.
02:15:52.000 So no, we have- I don't think there should be a federal law.
02:15:55.000 In over 100 years, we might have 45 pro-life senators.
02:15:59.000 So no Republican president can ban abortions any more than a Democrat president can ban these state laws.
02:16:05.000 So let's find consensus.
02:16:07.000 Let's agree on what, how we can ban late-term abortions.
02:16:10.000 Here's the issue is, is Ron DeSantis, he didn't get an applause because he just sort of curtailed that.
02:16:15.000 It should be, look, I think it should be, it should be, the onus should be on the left and Democrats to identify where
02:16:21.000 life begins or there should be limitations.
02:16:22.000 And if they don't, well then they're going to deal with the boot of the state legislature.
02:16:27.000 And now we're not going to be outspent two to one, we're going to outspend them three to one, educating the public
02:16:32.000 as to what constitutes a life.
02:16:33.000 That may require fetal charts, I don't know, but the truth is most people, when they actually understand the left's policy, they disagree with it.
02:16:40.000 They obfuscate their policy, we need to be transparent with it, and of course this goes to states' rights, which is really what you're looking at when you're talking about the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
02:16:47.000 But let's make sure, I challenge anyone today on this stage, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, run through the list, say, to define when life begins or where they would place any limitation on abortion.
02:16:58.000 That is an answer that they are required to provide.
02:17:02.000 Put it on them.
02:17:02.000 That's where the Republicans have been so flat-footed with it, where they go, you just want to... Well, the Democrats haven't given that answer, and they're still winning.
02:17:09.000 I know.
02:17:09.000 Well, that's because the media never challenges them.
02:17:11.000 The media never challenges them, but it's your job to do it, because now, if you do that here today, it gets...
02:17:17.000 It gets posted everywhere.
02:17:18.000 It gets disseminated across social media and then there's some pressure because a lot of people are sharing this clip and really we haven't provided an answer.
02:17:26.000 The media is not going to do it.
02:17:27.000 Cut through the fog yourself.
02:17:28.000 That should be the focus right now.
02:17:30.000 Ron DeSantis kind of added it there as an addendum.
02:17:33.000 Didn't spend enough time on it.
02:17:34.000 Sorry, I'm interrupting Tim Scott.
02:17:35.000 I know you are all desperate to hear him.
02:17:37.000 He would have knocked me out.
02:17:39.000 I think it's unethical and immoral to allow for abortions up until the day of birth.
02:17:45.000 We have an opportunity in this nation to stop that restlessness.
02:17:49.000 I don't think they're going to say anything super interesting, but there's only about 17 minutes left in this debate.
02:17:53.000 They're all going to give their rap.
02:17:53.000 He's a flying butterfly in the Lunesta commercial.
02:17:56.000 We do need to see if we can check back in with Finnegan and see if he ever actually found his way into the arena.
02:18:02.000 I know we have the 7 plus 1 after this and Alex Jones, of course, providing a post-game wrap-up.
02:18:08.000 Let me check my map here.
02:18:11.000 Oh, so we do.
02:18:11.000 We have Thomas Finnegan on the ground.
02:18:15.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:18:16.000 Okay.
02:18:17.000 Hi, Stephen.
02:18:18.000 Wow.
02:18:19.000 Okay, so you were really there at the debate.
02:18:29.000 Thank you.
02:18:30.000 I'm impressed.
02:18:31.000 Good job, Finnegan.
02:18:32.000 Who do you have lined up for an interview for us?
02:18:34.000 that's handled disasters in Florida.
02:18:36.000 Well, it's been kind of a long day and I haven't had anything to drink yet.
02:18:40.000 I'm rather parched, so I'm going to head back to my motel.
02:18:44.000 I'll try again in the morning.
02:18:45.000 No.
02:18:45.000 No, no.
02:18:45.000 Don't do that at all.
02:18:46.000 You're there.
02:18:47.000 You're there.
02:18:47.000 There's no debate in the morning.
02:18:49.000 Okay?
02:18:49.000 It's now.
02:18:49.000 Look behind you.
02:18:50.000 Just wait it out here.
02:18:51.000 Just tough it out.
02:18:52.000 Grab someone and go.
02:18:53.000 My nails are getting kind of wily.
02:18:55.000 I'm going to have to give those a trim.
02:18:57.000 Finnegan, no.
02:18:58.000 Finnegan, no.
02:18:58.000 What are you doing?
02:18:59.000 What are you doing?
02:19:00.000 Finnegan, come on.
02:19:01.000 Look, this is one of those times.
02:19:02.000 Buck up.
02:19:04.000 You're right.
02:19:05.000 Oh, fuck.
02:19:06.000 Okay, cut it.
02:19:06.000 I just can't even.
02:19:07.000 I'm sorry, my language is so bad.
02:19:17.000 So many of you have signed up for Mug Club after the Nashville Manifesto.
02:19:21.000 The promo code undercover.
02:19:22.000 It's still $10 off.
02:19:23.000 And I don't want you to think that all of your money is going to Finnegan.
02:19:26.000 We have him on retainer.
02:19:27.000 That's been legacied in.
02:19:30.000 He was really cheap.
02:19:31.000 I want to watch Vivek talk about the abortion issue because there's 9 billion of them.
02:19:35.000 Now, how's that, Radio Shack?
02:19:37.000 ...parental consent.
02:19:38.000 Why?
02:19:38.000 It's back to that Republican culture of losing.
02:19:40.000 The Republicans did not have an alternative amendment or vision on the table.
02:19:45.000 I know Ohio.
02:19:45.000 I was born, raised, and I lived there.
02:19:47.000 It's representative of the country.
02:19:49.000 If in the state of Ohio, we have access to contraception, adoption, and also here's the missing ingredient in this movement.
02:19:55.000 Sexual responsibility for men.
02:19:59.000 We live in an era of reliable genetic paternity tests that are 100% reliable.
02:20:05.000 So we can say men deserve more responsibility.
02:20:08.000 So we can tell women, we're all in this together.
02:20:11.000 It's not men's rights versus women's rights.
02:20:14.000 It's about human rights.
02:20:15.000 And I've come back to that case that Clarence Thomas spoke of.
02:20:18.000 A pregnant woman walking down the street.
02:20:20.000 She's assaulted.
02:20:21.000 The unborn child dies in that assault.
02:20:25.000 You find me one person in this country.
02:20:29.000 Who says that that criminal does not deserve liability for that death.
02:20:33.000 You won't find one.
02:20:35.000 That says we share the same instincts on this issue, but we require, I believe, a different generation of leadership to actually lead us forward and unite the country on this with honesty.
02:20:44.000 Good.
02:20:45.000 I think that was pretty strong.
02:20:47.000 Now let's see if they do the orbit camera with Chris Christie.
02:20:49.000 They've done it for no one else.
02:20:51.000 I think it's the cameraman screwing with him.
02:20:56.000 conservative lawyers, they're gonna be arguing that the federal government should have absolutely
02:21:00.000 nothing to do with this issue constitutionally because it's nowhere in the Constitution.
02:21:05.000 And then Dobbs comes and we finally gain that victory, which was the creation of a constitutional
02:21:12.000 right out of thin air that didn't exist.
02:21:14.000 And now we have people running to say, let's short circuit the states from doing what they
02:21:19.000 need to do.
02:21:20.000 And let's go right to some type of federal ban at a certain number of weeks.
02:21:24.000 And people on the stage have been all over the place, 20 weeks, 15 weeks, 12, 6.
02:21:30.000 Look, numbers.
02:21:30.000 They're doing the camera!
02:21:34.000 They gave him a wide shot!
02:21:37.000 What the hell?
02:21:38.000 State by state to make the Trump himself.
02:21:42.000 They did it for no one else!
02:21:44.000 In Oklahoma, you can't get an abortion unless the life of the mother is at risk.
02:21:47.000 In my home state of New Jersey, it goes up to 9 months until you get an abortion.
02:21:51.000 I find that morally reprehensible.
02:21:54.000 That's what the people of our state have voted for.
02:21:58.000 Chris Christie would just be filled with poison.
02:22:03.000 How do we know when the procedure is over?
02:22:09.000 Well you hear the kids lunchbox hit the floor.
02:22:11.000 to be pro-life for the whole world.
02:22:12.000 A lot of people are trying to treat with pillowcases.
02:22:14.000 I use an industrial trash bag.
02:22:16.000 It's precious and we should get treatment for her to restore her life.
02:22:20.000 The 52-year-old who's drug addicted should make sure that any of his children who he's
02:22:25.000 passed that addiction on to are treated well too.
02:22:27.000 Pro-life's not just in the womb, Kirsten, it's for the whole life.
02:22:30.000 That's a leftist talking point, you fat son of a bitch.
02:22:35.000 Being pro-life doesn't mean pay for all the free stuff by stealing through taxpayers.
02:22:38.000 Former Jersey governor.
02:22:44.000 Donald Trump, I think, has wrapped up by this point.
02:22:46.000 Yeah.
02:22:47.000 So he's wrapped.
02:22:47.000 We covered a couple of the highlights from him.
02:22:50.000 But we do have the 7 Plus 1 that we need to talk about.
02:22:51.000 We do have the 7 Plus 1.
02:22:52.000 We might want to do it after.
02:22:53.000 We want to go to the Hillary Clinton stuff from The View.
02:22:55.000 Yeah, I think we should do that.
02:22:57.000 Let me make sure I have these clips lined up.
02:23:00.000 What do we have?
02:23:00.000 Oh, OK.
02:23:01.000 So here was Hillary.
02:23:01.000 And by the way, the promo code is undercover.
02:23:04.000 Thank you so much.
02:23:04.000 Let me just reiterate this because there's been a lot of false reporting on the Nashville Manifesto.
02:23:09.000 Just to be clear, no one was paid?
02:23:11.000 For that story, our source has been protected.
02:23:13.000 We will protect them.
02:23:14.000 We will be willing to go to jail for our sources.
02:23:15.000 Our source is not one of the seven that were put on administrative leave.
02:23:18.000 Not one of the seven put on administrative leave, despite what questionable journalists have tried to tell you.
02:23:24.000 And a big, by the way, just so you know, a big goal of that is to intimidate whistleblowers into silence.
02:23:28.000 Our whistleblower is as safe as in their mother's arms.
02:23:30.000 You can send in your tips to lwctips at protonmail.com.
02:23:35.000 We will protect it, and it actually is a testament to how great of a job the undercover unit has done here, the Investigative Journalism Unit, because they put seven people on leave, and they messed up.
02:23:46.000 Hey, MNPD, go, go, try, try, try again.
02:23:51.000 Life sucks, get a fucking helmet!
02:23:52.000 There you go.
02:23:54.000 I love that Dennis Leary line, that classic iconic line, you know, that he used.
02:23:58.000 Alright, here's Hillary Clinton who went on The View today, I guess.
02:24:02.000 Wow.
02:24:03.000 And she lumbered onto The View and said that a Trump 2024 victory would mean the end of America as we know it.
02:24:10.000 Your loss to Trump in 2016 will go down in history as one of the most pivotal times in our country.
02:24:16.000 One of the most pivotal moments in our country.
02:24:19.000 And it's still reeling from You know, Trump's policies, I think, and the deep divisions that he sowed in this country.
02:24:28.000 What, in your view, would happen if he were to be re-elected?
02:24:32.000 Oh, I can't even... I can't even think that, because I think it would be the end of our country as we know it.
02:24:39.000 Mmm.
02:24:40.000 Yes.
02:24:40.000 Oh, shut up.
02:24:41.000 That's a good thing.
02:24:42.000 Yeah, okay.
02:24:45.000 Anyone?
02:24:45.000 Anyone have any response?
02:24:46.000 No?
02:24:46.000 Yeah, I hope she fucking dies in her sleep.
02:24:52.000 Did our country end when he beat you the first time?
02:24:57.000 It did better!
02:24:58.000 Did he leave office even though he thought the election was stolen?
02:25:01.000 She did go on to clarify.
02:25:03.000 She substantiated.
02:25:04.000 She showed her work.
02:25:05.000 I mean she was panting.
02:25:08.000 She explained why a second Trump term would be worse than, and I want to make sure I'm reading this correctly, she compared him, she did, she compared him to Hitler.
02:25:16.000 Whoa, original thinker.
02:25:17.000 And so now he is going to, if he were ever near the Oval Office again, find people who
02:25:23.000 have no principles, no conscience, who are totally...
02:25:27.000 She's projecting!
02:25:27.000 Like you and Clinton with Chelsea.
02:25:29.000 projecting and therefore would do whatever he said and so the the wreckage
02:25:33.000 is almost unimaginable you know when I was Secretary of State I used to talk
02:25:37.000 about one and done and what I meant by that is that like you and Clinton with
02:25:41.000 Chelsea legitimately elected good one and then they would try to do away with
02:25:46.000 elections and do away with opposition and do away with a free press
02:25:51.000 And you could see it in countries where, well, Hitler was duly elected, right?
02:25:57.000 And so, all of a sudden, somebody with those tendencies, those dictatorial, authoritarian tendencies, would be like, okay, we're going to shut this down.
02:26:06.000 Big statement from someone dressed like a guard at Treblinka.
02:26:08.000 And they didn't usually telegraph that.
02:26:11.000 Let me just be really clear here, okay?
02:26:12.000 what he intends to do. Take him at his word. The man means to throw people in jail who
02:26:20.000 disagree with him. Shut down legitimate press outlets. Do what he can to literally undermine
02:26:26.000 the liberal bar.
02:26:27.000 Let me just be really clear here, okay? Let's look at the political opponents of Donald
02:26:29.000 Trump who were put in jail. I'm counting them up.
02:26:32.000 You can bring this up as a reference.
02:26:33.000 Uh, zero.
02:26:34.000 With former Vice President Biden, you have Douglas Mackey, the meme maker, in jail.
02:26:38.000 The meme maker, in jail.
02:26:40.000 You have the Proud Boys, right?
02:26:41.000 And by the way, you have the DOJ pushing for more aggressive sentencing, even though they weren't involved with any type of insurrection on January 6th.
02:26:45.000 You have Owen Troyer, who I believe is back in solitary confinement now, if I'm not mistaken.
02:26:50.000 And of course, they're trying to jail Trump.
02:26:52.000 One of the biggest criticisms against Donald Trump is that he didn't lock her up, that bitch that you see right there.
02:26:58.000 Right?
02:26:58.000 He didn't jail his political opponents.
02:27:00.000 The DOJ?
02:27:01.000 Under Joe Biden?
02:27:02.000 Donald Trump?
02:27:02.000 How many times has he been indicted?
02:27:04.000 How many political dissidents has Donald Trump put in jail?
02:27:07.000 This is the fear-mongering from the left.
02:27:09.000 This is projection.
02:27:10.000 They accuse you of doing exactly what it is that they do.
02:27:13.000 We'll go back to it.
02:27:15.000 I know you get riled up with Hillary Clinton.
02:27:16.000 No, just not to mention the free speech and fucking shutting down, you know, the laptop story and all that.
02:27:24.000 They go, it's going to be the end of democracy.
02:27:26.000 And they've already ended it.
02:27:29.000 So one of the things I want to ask really quickly, and Tim Scott's giving some statements here, guys, and look, no disrespect to Tim Scott, but we're probably not going to see him on the debate stage after this, in my opinion.
02:27:38.000 Bold prediction, Cotton.
02:27:41.000 I know, right?
02:27:42.000 Show me one thing.
02:27:44.000 That Trump said, where he was serious about never giving up power again.
02:27:49.000 Show me one time where he said, I'm never going to leave office.
02:27:52.000 If you elect me, I'll stay president forever.
02:27:54.000 There was a joke of a meme of Time Magazine that was hilarious.
02:27:57.000 He said it jokingly.
02:27:58.000 Yes, of course.
02:27:59.000 But these guys are like, he's told us what he's got to do!
02:28:01.000 And I'm like, he never said that.
02:28:02.000 She's accusing him of doing exactly what she did.
02:28:04.000 She's saying because he questioned the election results, which she did for four years!
02:28:09.000 2016 in Russia, for crying out loud.
02:28:10.000 I know.
02:28:12.000 He's never said anything about shutting down media.
02:28:16.000 In fact, he's trying to expand media right now.
02:28:18.000 He's just saying that you guys are fake news.
02:28:20.000 This is a guy whose son has a show on Rumble!
02:28:22.000 I know.
02:28:23.000 Alright, let's hear Mr. French.
02:28:25.000 I'm running for President of the United States because I'm tired.
02:28:29.000 I'm tired of seeing the division.
02:28:31.000 I'm tired of seeing the anger.
02:28:33.000 And I can see in the eyes of Americans their exhaustion.
02:28:37.000 Their exhaustion from the petty personal politics that have taken over this country over the last number of years.
02:28:44.000 I'm running for president to be a president of consequence.
02:28:47.000 He's doing the equivalency things.
02:28:49.000 To make sure that America's role in the world stays number one.
02:28:53.000 That we stand up for our friends and allies around the world and we stand up for what we believe in right here at home.
02:28:59.000 And the 2% of you in the primary that agree with me.
02:29:02.000 Our differences has always been our strength as a country.
02:29:05.000 Oh shut up!
02:29:07.000 But you can't truly say you love America.
02:29:08.000 He gets half of his talking points from the left.
02:29:10.000 Yes!
02:29:12.000 And the other half is the menu at Golden Corral.
02:29:14.000 Let me guess, diversity is our strength.
02:29:18.000 It's our downfall.
02:29:21.000 We deserve and should accept nothing less.
02:29:23.000 Governor, thank you very much.
02:29:25.000 Let's go to Mr. Rana Swamy now.
02:29:30.000 We've talked a lot about foreign wars tonight, but we're in the middle of a war right here at home.
02:29:34.000 It's a war not between black and white or Democrat and Republican.
02:29:38.000 It's between those of us who believe in our founding ideals and love this country, and a fringe minority who hates the United States of America.
02:29:45.000 And I think it's going to take a commander-in-chief to lead us to victory in that war, who first of all knows that we're in a war.
02:29:52.000 Second of all, can't be captured by the special interests along the way.
02:29:56.000 But third is from the next generation, somebody with fresh legs to lead us to victory.
02:30:01.000 I'll shut down the deep state, I'll declare economic independence from China, I'll keep us out of World War III, and then revive national pride in this country.
02:30:09.000 I also want to close with one message to the Democrat Party.
02:30:13.000 End this farce that Joe Biden is going to be your nominee.
02:30:16.000 We know he's not even the President of the United States.
02:30:18.000 He's a puppet for the managerial class.
02:30:21.000 So have the guts to step up and be honest about who you're actually going to put up, so we can have an honest debate.
02:30:26.000 Biden should step aside, end his candidacy now, so we can see whether it's Newsom or Michelle Obama or whoever else.
02:30:31.000 And tell us who's running the country now.
02:30:33.000 So we can have an honest debate.
02:30:35.000 Whoa!
02:30:36.000 Put up or shut up!
02:30:37.000 He just put the... Good for him.
02:30:40.000 Thank you.
02:30:40.000 He had the gut for that.
02:30:42.000 Hit the ding.
02:30:43.000 That's a mic drop.
02:30:45.000 Thank you.
02:30:45.000 The world is on fire.
02:30:48.000 We have a war in Europe.
02:30:50.000 We've got a war in the Middle East.
02:30:51.000 We've got China on the march.
02:30:54.000 It is very important that we know how to defend our freedoms and how to defeat terrorism and socialism.
02:31:01.000 We have to know the difference between good and evil.
02:31:03.000 We have to know the difference between right and wrong.
02:31:06.000 We need to know that a strong America doesn't start wars.
02:31:09.000 A strong America prevents wars.
02:31:12.000 And the way we can focus on that is to make sure we go back to the soul of America and be strong and proud again.
02:31:19.000 And we can't do that.
02:31:21.000 We can't win the fights.
02:31:23.000 ...of the 21st century with politicians from the 20th century.
02:31:28.000 We have to move forward.
02:31:29.000 And we can do this.
02:31:31.000 I know we can do this.
02:31:32.000 So join our movement... You may disagree.
02:31:34.000 Funniest man alive right here, right next to me.
02:31:36.000 I'm very grateful.
02:31:36.000 ...and we will once again show what America... I'm also ashamed.
02:31:38.000 ...that's strong and proud looks like.
02:31:40.000 God bless.
02:31:40.000 Nikki, the toast is broken.
02:31:42.000 What happened?
02:31:46.000 Governor DeSantis, you're closing.
02:31:48.000 You have one minute.
02:31:49.000 We must reverse our country's decline, and that is going to require leadership.
02:31:54.000 I will take the hits.
02:31:56.000 I will take the arrows.
02:31:57.000 I will take the barbs.
02:31:58.000 He has reused that line.
02:32:00.000 This is why DeSantis is not doing very well.
02:32:03.000 It's because his advisors say, use this line.
02:32:05.000 Yeah, man.
02:32:06.000 Yeah, it went great.
02:32:07.000 No one can touch you when he said, I will take the arrows.
02:32:09.000 I will take the hits.
02:32:10.000 Why am I saying slings?
02:32:11.000 Slings is what they use to throw the things.
02:32:12.000 No, no, you'll take the slings.
02:32:14.000 You'll take the slings.
02:32:15.000 You sling.
02:32:17.000 As president, as the father of three young kids, I'm going to ensure that this country is left to the next generation in better shape than we found it.
02:32:26.000 And as the governor of Florida, I delivered on all my promises.
02:32:29.000 That is true.
02:32:29.000 You can trust me to deliver for you.
02:32:32.000 Go keep doing that for a little while.
02:32:33.000 I think you should stay governor.
02:32:34.000 He should!
02:32:35.000 For your vote.
02:32:35.000 Because he's a good governor.
02:32:36.000 He's a fantastic governor.
02:32:37.000 Great governor.
02:32:37.000 One of the best.
02:32:38.000 In the election, I will be a leader you can be proud of.
02:32:39.000 Which usually results in a good president.
02:32:41.000 Usually does.
02:32:41.000 He just may not be ready right now.
02:32:43.000 His campaign hasn't been great.
02:32:44.000 God bless you.
02:32:45.000 Governor DeSantis, thank you.
02:32:48.000 The tongue thing was a little weird.
02:32:49.000 They're gonna meme that.
02:32:50.000 It's like a goat sticking out it's tongue.
02:32:56.000 We're going to conclude our debate.
02:32:58.000 The next line says that the audience can hold their applause.
02:33:00.000 That didn't work out.
02:33:01.000 But anyway, for just a few more seconds, I'll ask you to just hold the applause.
02:33:06.000 Moderators, I want to thank the candidates for their time and for this spirited debate.
02:33:10.000 Really good, deep conversation and we appreciate you all being here.
02:33:14.000 Thank you as well to our wonderful host here at the Adrian Arsh Performing Arts Center.
02:33:18.000 On behalf of the Republican National Committee and all of us at NBC News, good night everyone.
02:33:26.000 Chris Christie, the buffet is now open.
02:33:27.000 Yes, it is.
02:33:28.000 I hope they have shrimp.
02:33:30.000 They got good shrimp?
02:33:33.000 Is it de-veined?
02:33:34.000 Ah, let's be honest, I don't give a shit.
02:33:36.000 I'll eat the vein.
02:33:37.000 I can see a sandwich in his thing.
02:33:40.000 It was a fucking sandwich in his podium apparently.
02:33:43.000 Brought to you by Jersey Mike's.
02:33:44.000 Alright, I am curious to see the coverage really quickly.
02:33:47.000 We'll go to the coverage, the post coverage here on the mainstream news outlets and then afterwards we're going to have Alex Jones on on Mug Club for the post debate roundup.
02:33:55.000 But I guess this is as good a time as any.
02:33:57.000 Endy.
02:33:58.000 I've had two and a half drinks over the course of the evening.
02:34:02.000 That is it, just to be clear.
02:34:03.000 But the drinking game is far too effective.
02:34:05.000 We're gonna have to scale that back.
02:34:07.000 Hey, might as well.
02:34:08.000 We have this chat.
02:34:09.000 They've been asking for it.
02:34:10.000 It's time for tonight's 7 Plus 1.
02:34:12.000 You forgot Stefan in the chamber!
02:34:19.000 Just during that stinger.
02:34:21.000 I'm out.
02:34:22.000 I said, you have one.
02:34:23.000 He goes, I can't read.
02:34:26.000 Who are you, Tim Scott?
02:34:28.000 I'm blind.
02:34:29.000 Hold on.
02:34:30.000 What page are we on?
02:34:31.000 7 plus 1.
02:34:32.000 You know what, you can read off my page.
02:34:33.000 Here we go.
02:34:34.000 7 plus 1 tonight.
02:34:35.000 Things the GOP candidates are doing in Florida after the debate.
02:34:40.000 Number 7.
02:34:42.000 Even though he wasn't at the debate, I just realized this.
02:34:45.000 Number 7.
02:34:45.000 Mike Pence will be spending some much needed quality time with mother on the homestead.
02:34:52.000 Yeah, good for him.
02:34:54.000 That's a multi-layered joke.
02:34:57.000 I figure this one's a layup because Nick DiPaolo is just filled to the brim with hate.
02:35:01.000 He did, yes.
02:35:02.000 Seven plus one things GOP candidates are doing in Florida after the debate.
02:35:04.000 Number six.
02:35:06.000 Chris Christie will be rewarding himself by eating a nice Cuban.
02:35:09.000 There you go.
02:35:13.000 Oh, don't do Gay William like that.
02:35:15.000 That's not nice.
02:35:20.000 Things GOP candidates are doing after the debate.
02:35:21.000 Number 5, Gerald.
02:35:23.000 Nikki Haley will be raising campaign funds through a new OnlyFans.
02:35:26.000 A new OnlyFans.
02:35:28.000 Different from her previous OnlyFans.
02:35:30.000 Exactly.
02:35:30.000 That one's being shuttered.
02:35:32.000 No Photoshop for that one.
02:35:33.000 No Chatterbait for her.
02:35:35.000 Number 4, Ron DeSantis will be shopping for new BOGO boots.
02:35:40.000 I'll be doing that.
02:35:41.000 With lifts.
02:35:41.000 How did this make the cut?
02:35:44.000 I don't know.
02:35:46.000 I sent you some gold.
02:35:47.000 I didn't see any of it.
02:35:48.000 I'm sorry.
02:35:49.000 This is my fault.
02:35:50.000 Hey, I'm here for the paycheck.
02:35:51.000 Things that GOP candidates are doing in Florida after the debate.
02:35:54.000 No.
02:35:55.000 3.
02:35:55.000 Vivek Ramaswamy will be updating his application to Mar-a-Lago's tech support.
02:35:59.000 Oh, that's true.
02:36:03.000 Have you tried unplugging it?
02:36:05.000 Uh, number two, Tim Scott will be going back to his grassroots, so that's nice, right?
02:36:10.000 Oh, well hey, hey, that seems like there's some big...
02:36:15.000 Who's that girl, Nikki Haley?
02:36:16.000 ...big turf builder.
02:36:16.000 Number one, the things that the GOP candidates will be doing after this debate...
02:36:22.000 Gerald Morgan?
02:36:24.000 Nikki Haley will be demanding to speak to the debate's manager.
02:36:27.000 Well, yeah, that makes... Now!
02:36:28.000 Yeah, she's going to be upset.
02:36:29.000 Is that a John and Kate plus eight merged with Nikki Haley?
02:36:34.000 Wow, that looks real.
02:36:36.000 And the plus one, Chris Christie will be hammocked back to tank number two for his 11 p.m.
02:36:40.000 feeding of mackerel.
02:36:41.000 That one's a joke.
02:36:42.000 This has been 7 Plus.
02:36:48.000 You're forgotten if I'm in the chamber.
02:36:55.000 Stay back!
02:36:57.000 All right, so really quickly here, we talked about this and Vivek called them out and said, look, he's not going to be running, so we probably need to talk about this.
02:37:07.000 But Newsom is actually losing big support in California right now.
02:37:11.000 He's been trying to kind of increase his profile abroad.
02:37:14.000 A new poll that came out said he is being humbled right now.
02:37:18.000 So he had an 11 point drop from his approval rating in February.
02:37:23.000 11 points.
02:37:23.000 Really?
02:37:26.000 Pretty bad.
02:37:26.000 Oof.
02:37:27.000 Doesn't matter.
02:37:27.000 Yeah.
02:37:28.000 No, it matters.
02:37:28.000 All the polls are fake.
02:37:30.000 People are appointed.
02:37:31.000 I'm telling you.
02:37:34.000 You both think that it won't be Joe Biden.
02:37:36.000 You both think it won't be Joe Biden.
02:37:37.000 We're both right.
02:37:38.000 But let me ask you this.
02:37:39.000 If his points have gone down by 11, you're saying, 11 points, do you think they might kind of pull out the contingency plan and it could be like a Gretchen Whitmer?
02:37:47.000 No, I don't think anybody's going to like her.
02:37:49.000 You're trying to make it look interesting, folks.
02:37:50.000 You don't think they'll go maybe Gretchen Whitmer instead of Newsom?
02:37:52.000 You really want a woman?
02:37:54.000 Even before that, when they did the recall on Newsom, do you really think that he won?
02:38:02.000 I don't know.
02:38:03.000 I know that someone threw a banana pie at Larry Elder and I thought that was pretty shitty.
02:38:10.000 Someone was dressed up as a gorilla and threw a pie at Larry Elder.
02:38:15.000 I'm like, how is this not front page?
02:38:16.000 This is, I mean, this is, it checks every box for a hate crime.
02:38:19.000 They call him the black face of white supremacy.
02:38:22.000 Yeah, the black face of white supremacy.
02:38:23.000 I told you he was going to get sworn in behind a quick mark as the grand dragon.
02:38:27.000 They're showing Vivek's family.
02:38:28.000 That's pretty, okay, that's not, you got a good look.
02:38:30.000 And by the way, Vivek was here, spent time with him, enjoyed my time with him.
02:38:33.000 He's a very spry guy, Vivek.
02:38:35.000 Like, he's a guy who will live forever.
02:38:36.000 You need that energy!
02:38:38.000 You need that energy to be good.
02:38:42.000 You know, it's interesting to always have him on screen with Tim Scott to see who's actually darker, but it just depends on the season.
02:38:49.000 Let's see what they're saying here at NBC and maybe if someone can bring to us if there have been any type of meltdowns.
02:38:54.000 I don't think tonight was enough of a bombshell evening for MSNBC or CNN to lose their minds.
02:38:59.000 Tim Scott got a white wife?
02:39:00.000 their criticisms of Donald Trump in praise of his presidency because they're trying to give
02:39:05.000 a permission structure to his voters to say yes I liked him then or like elements of what he did
02:39:11.000 then even if he's not the candidate for me now and that's based in sort of a factual basis based
02:39:17.000 on some of our own polling which has found that attacking Donald Trump directly can make a
02:39:21.000 candidate less popular. This guy's holding the microphone any direction but his face. Yeah what are you doing?
02:39:25.000 Talking out of your nipples? If I were to be him right now I'd be like hey guys uh the debate tonight
02:39:30.000 Get that away from me. Make it further.
02:39:35.000 He's being an idiot.
02:39:36.000 It's like a boom and a pawn.
02:39:36.000 He's got a lapel mic, too.
02:39:37.000 So what is a visual aid?
02:39:39.000 Look, Tim Scott, go ahead, touch it.
02:39:40.000 Mike too, so what is a visual aid?
02:39:43.000 I think all of them are making similar calculations about trying to be the last person standing.
02:39:47.000 Look, Tim Scott, come back.
02:39:49.000 Don't touch it.
02:39:49.000 We'll do the dirty work for them. And if we end this election cycle, if we end this primary
02:39:54.000 cycle with Donald Trump, once again, as the Republican nominee, I think debates like this one,
02:39:59.000 huge stages with lots of eyeballs on them.
02:40:01.000 If you end this primary cycle with Donald Trump as a candidate, what do you mean if?
02:40:04.000 More direct contrast with the front runner who's been squashing them in state and national polls
02:40:10.000 is going to be part of the reason why we could end up in that same place like we saw in 2015.
02:40:14.000 Can I say something?
02:40:18.000 Yes, you may.
02:40:19.000 We all seem to be, including the media and everybody, assumes that Trump is not going to be in jail?
02:40:26.000 He's not going to be in jail.
02:40:28.000 I very much doubt they could make that happen before the election.
02:40:29.000 It could, but I don't think they would.
02:40:32.000 You want to start, we've talked about this, you want to set off the revolution, you want to light the match.
02:40:35.000 I don't believe it.
02:40:36.000 White people are too fat and lazy.
02:40:37.000 It should have started after the last election.
02:40:40.000 I'm telling you, man.
02:40:41.000 I understand, but too many promises were made about how quickly we were going to get to the bottom of all this that didn't come true and people are like, well, I don't know who I can believe right now.
02:40:48.000 But if you throw Donald Trump in jail and keep him from being the nominee, all bets are off.
02:40:57.000 He wants to jail political opponents if they do it and that's something that they really need to use for fear-mongering so I think they just want to flick the jab out there to make it too expensive to just you know have enough anchors around his neck and you know that's what they want to do.
02:41:10.000 I don't think they really want him in jail but they might.
02:41:13.000 It depends how close we get to the election if they're out for blood.
02:41:16.000 Yeah, absolutely.
02:41:17.000 Boy, it's quite a bluff.
02:41:18.000 No, I think he's the guy.
02:41:20.000 I think right now, after seeing this debate, I think Vivek got some of his swagger back.
02:41:25.000 He came out fighting.
02:41:25.000 He called balls and strikes on the last episode.
02:41:27.000 I thought he was great.
02:41:28.000 Hold on a second.
02:41:28.000 This is the worst hairpiece I've ever seen in my life.
02:41:31.000 And then it just fell flat and went away.
02:41:33.000 There were some moments tonight where people had some zingers for each other.
02:41:36.000 He makes Frank Luntz's wig look like it's designer.
02:41:38.000 Frank's got a wig?
02:41:40.000 Why?
02:41:41.000 Alright, sorry, continue Gerald.
02:41:43.000 I was distracted.
02:41:43.000 No, but I think what should happen right now is Ron DeSantis should bow out of this campaign.
02:41:49.000 He should pause his campaign because if Donald Trump for some reason can't run, if they succeed in kind of putting him in jail or something else, He can always pick his campaign right back up.
02:41:58.000 He can pause his campaign right now, put his support behind Donald Trump, go back to being a great governor for a little while longer, and then be the guy in four years.
02:42:08.000 That's what he should do, but he won't right now.
02:42:10.000 They're going to keep running.
02:42:11.000 We're going to have one more debate, and our issue right now is the guy.
02:42:16.000 The guy!
02:42:17.000 Do we have to cover the next debate?
02:42:19.000 And by the way, just so you guys know, people are obviously, they have debate fatigue because we have been tonight blowing away the actual GOP debate numbers and they're lower than any debate we've covered because the truth is there's not that much more to cover.
02:42:30.000 This is really more an exercise.
02:42:33.000 This is mental masturbation for these candidates left.
02:42:35.000 It's an ego trip.
02:42:36.000 Look, we're at the point where we should be able to make a decision.
02:42:38.000 I understand it.
02:42:39.000 We have different ideas.
02:42:41.000 We want to narrow the field.
02:42:42.000 We go through the process.
02:42:43.000 But, at a certain point, there is a finite amount of money.
02:42:46.000 And I just want to know, who is giving their money to Chris Christie?
02:42:50.000 That's exactly right!
02:42:50.000 Democrats!
02:42:51.000 I would vote for anyone on that stage not named Chris Christie.
02:42:55.000 Maybe Nikki Haley.
02:42:56.000 I don't trust her.
02:42:57.000 I don't dislike her, but I don't trust her.
02:42:59.000 I would not vote for I wouldn't vote for Chris Christie.
02:43:03.000 If it's Chris Christie, I wouldn't vote.
02:43:04.000 I'm just going to say that.
02:43:04.000 People say, oh, if it's Chris Christie, I wouldn't vote.
02:43:07.000 You guys can comment.
02:43:08.000 Are you in that same camp?
02:43:09.000 Anyone on there I would vote for.
02:43:11.000 Not Chris Christie.
02:43:12.000 I would like it to be, obviously, Donald Trump.
02:43:13.000 Ron DeSantis.
02:43:14.000 Maybe Vivek.
02:43:15.000 I think he might be better in some kind of a cabinet position.
02:43:18.000 I agree.
02:43:18.000 I mean, he's still, honestly, he's my favorite candidate of the group.
02:43:22.000 Only because, again, I think Ron DeSantis could be a phenomenal presidential candidate if he has some more seasoning.
02:43:28.000 I don't know what happened.
02:43:29.000 I don't understand what you guys think he's doing so wrong.
02:43:32.000 DeSantis?
02:43:34.000 Yes!
02:43:34.000 He's come off incredibly robotic, incredibly kind of the normal Candacy that we expect from him.
02:43:40.000 More robotic than a Nikki Haley or Chris Christie would just put left-wing talking on.
