00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, it's Mark Slipinski, and I have even more great news, especially if you're a conservative.
00:00:04.680 On Friday, I reported that Pierre Polyev was rising in the polls and poised to win a supermajority.
00:00:09.520 It now appears that the mainstream media agrees, and even they're acknowledging that the mainstream polls could be wrong.
00:00:15.240 Let's take a look at that.
00:00:16.240 The latest numbers from Abacus data suggest the race is tightening up.

00:00:24.220 You spoke with the CEO of Abacus.
00:00:26.520 How tight is this race?
00:00:28.840 Well, Faiza, the latest polling has the Liberals leading by three points.
00:00:33.580 Other polls also have something similar.
00:00:36.460 So, Abacus has the Liberals at about 40%, the Conservatives at 37%.
00:00:41.540 That puts them within the margin of error.
00:00:45.120 Remember, polls will make predictions but also account for how much they may be off by.
00:00:52.720 And somewhere that's usually between 2% and 3%.
00:00:55.620 And so, that means the Liberals and the Conservatives are essentially in a dead heat in this crucial final stretch.
00:01:03.160 Now, most polls, as I mentioned, are showing the Tories closing the gap.
00:01:07.440 Do keep in mind, though, that until a few days ago, Donald Trump and his criticisms of Canada were largely out of the headlines.
00:01:15.080 And so, David Coleto with Abacus tells me that that has given the Conservatives some space to make the argument that they've been making this whole campaign and that's that people want change and they're going to be the ones to deliver it.
00:01:28.260 So, what they're referring to right here is the margin of error.
00:01:30.460 The polls are so close right now that there is the potential that the polls could be wrong and Pure Polyev could be way ahead.
