Mark Slapinski - IT'S OVER： Poilievre Will NEVER Be Prime Minister

Based on what I'm seeing, the Conservative Party of Canada are done. Now I know that's not the news that any Canadian Conservative wants to hear, but that's just the way it is. Before I get into it, I want to remind you that I was a big fan of Pierre Poliev for years. I made a lot of content about him and conservative politics on YouTube, so I think I'm uniquely qualified to call this out.

00:00:00.000 Hey Patriots, I got some really bad news for you tonight, but I need to say this.

00:00:04.520 Based on what I'm seeing, Pierre Polyev and the Conservative Party of Canada, they're done.

00:00:09.560 Now I know that's not the news that any Canadian Conservative wants to hear,

00:00:13.400 but that's just the way it is. I'm going to explain what's happening.

00:00:17.080 Before I get into it, I want to remind you, in case you don't know,

00:00:20.000 I was a big Polyev fan for years. For at least two years, probably even more.

00:00:24.220 I made a lot of content on Twitter or X, and I also made daily videos about him or conservative politics on YouTube.

00:00:32.660 So I think I'm uniquely qualified to call this out.

00:00:35.420 And no, I haven't been paid off by the Liberal Party, nothing like that.

00:00:39.460 I mean, people are going to say that one way or another, but I can assure you that's not what's happening.

00:00:45.100 So just to back it up, Poliev lost the federal election.

00:00:48.800 He lost his seat and he was able to get his seat back and regain his status as the leader of the

00:00:55.460 Conservative Party. Unfortunately, things just got worse after that. He lost three MPs and right now

00:01:02.660 his poll numbers are not doing too well. As it stands right now, Carney, he could score a

00:01:08.000 majority. The Liberals are having a by-election for three MPs. Two of them are in safe Liberal

00:01:13.100 ridings and one of them is in Quebec and it's a toss-up. Carney's pretty much at a majority right

00:01:18.140 now. And even if that election in Quebec fails, all it takes is one more person to cross over

00:01:22.720 and Paulie has chances of getting in government anytime soon or over. Now, there's something else

00:01:28.160 I want to show you that confirms what I've been fearing about the conservatives. So this is a

00:01:33.500 recent poll by Nano's Research, a reliable polling firm. And what you're seeing right here is that

00:01:39.140 the Liberal Party is at 46%, while the conservatives are only at 33%. So that's a 13 point difference.

00:01:46.380 And this aligns with some of the other recent polls that have come out.

00:01:49.880 So that being said, things are not looking really good.

00:01:52.860 Now, why is this?

00:01:54.080 Some people say that the polls are fake and that this is all just some liberal conspiracy.

00:01:58.140 I don't think so.

00:01:59.000 Nanos is a pretty reputable firm, and it's a private company.

00:02:02.580 It's not owned by the liberal government or the mainstream media, so to speak.

00:02:06.780 It's owned.

00:02:07.500 It's a private company.

00:02:08.860 And I believe they're pulling to be accurate.

00:02:11.100 What's going on here, based on what I'm seeing, is that Polly have just failed to read the room.

00:02:15.480 He failed to read the room last election when Donald Trump started threatening to take our country over and start a trade war with us.

00:02:21.260 He did call it out, but he wasn't able to effectively pivot.

00:02:24.920 And a big part of that is because a big part of the conservative base likes Trump.

00:02:29.120 It made it really hard for Palliev to pivot on that.

00:02:31.880 And unfortunately, that's what you're seeing again this year.

00:02:34.500 I was actually hoping the whole thing with Trump would blow over, but now Trump is acting up again.

00:02:38.820 He was talking about taking over Greenland.

00:02:41.260 Now he's bombing Iran. 0.76

00:02:42.780 And he's also been bad-mouthing Canada again.

00:02:45.960 So I don't have any reason to believe that that's going to stop.

00:02:50.300 And I don't have any reason to believe that Polyev is going to effectively pivot on that.

00:02:54.160 He's tried a little bit recently again, but it's just too little too late.

00:02:58.400 Now, of course, that's not the news that anyone wants to hear.

00:03:00.960 And I hate having to be the one to tell you that, but that's just the way it is.

00:03:04.600 These other podcasters will try to milk it out as long as they can.

00:03:07.960 Even if Carney gets a majority, they'll just make something up.

00:03:11.220 But I'm just being straight with you.

00:03:12.780 Polio's chances of becoming a prime minister are almost zero right now, and the conservative's

00:03:17.360 chances of forming government any time before 2029, that's pretty much over too.

00:03:22.660 So I want to say I tried my best, right?

00:03:25.580 I tried my best to educate my viewers and show them that Trump really wasn't the great

00:03:29.820 guy that they thought he was.

00:03:31.500 And I also tried to push Polio in the right direction, especially through acts where I 1.00

00:03:35.800 have a bigger platform, and say, hey, pivot on Trump.

00:03:39.160 But unfortunately, he's just not hearing that.

00:03:42.120 he's not listening and there's not really much i can do it's unfortunate because if 0.97

00:03:46.980 at least for conservatives if trump didn't start acting up with this whole trade war bullshit 0.80

00:03:51.360 the conservatives probably would have won now a lot of people will never acknowledge that they 0.96

00:03:55.640 think it's oh it's trump derangement syndrome and stuff and to be quite frank it's those sorts

00:04:00.340 of arguments that i read in my comment section that just makes me not want to deal with conservatives

00:04:04.580 anymore because if you can look at what's happening with the trade war that's hurt our economy the

00:04:11.520 fact that Trump's bombing Iran, which is going to raise oil prices and cause inflation and say

00:04:16.600 to yourself, that's not a big issue. And I'm the bad guy for bringing that up. Then maybe I need

00:04:21.720 to go in a different direction. That being said, I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to still make

00:04:25.820 videos, but it's going to be a slightly different format. I'm going to be talking about the cost of

00:04:30.920 living. And yes, I'm going to be doing a lot of work slamming Trump. So if you're not a big fan

00:04:35.720 of that, if you can't handle that, that's fine. But I would encourage you just to go because it's

00:04:41.460 going to be a long time before I ever support any conservative party ever again. And I hate to say

00:04:46.520 it. And the funny thing is, I'm still pretty conservative. I want lower taxes, smaller

00:04:50.340 government. I don't agree with the conservatives on everything, but there are things that the

00:04:55.180 conservatives could have done that may have worked for me. But that's the funny thing.

00:04:59.140 Polyev wasn't even going to cut the income tax that much. I never brought this up earlier,

00:05:03.160 maybe a little bit, but I want deep tax cuts. And unfortunately, Polyev isn't even willing to

00:05:07.060 provide that. He just threw us around all this culture war bullshit. And it's just not going to 0.99

00:05:13.080 work. So I'm going to take some flack for this. I'm going to lose some subscribers. And that's

00:05:16.940 the way it is. But I want to say thank you for tuning in. Thank you for supporting me. Maybe

00:05:20.620 one day people will see things the way I currently see them. But until then, talk to you next time.
