00:00:00.000 In a surprise twist of events that nobody expected, the mainstream media now admits that Olivia Chow, her career is over, and the people of Toronto want her out.

00:00:10.160 Let's take a look at that.

00:00:11.120 This is a good news, bad news poll for Olivia Chow, who's a year out from the next municipal election. 1.00

00:00:17.680 In fact, there's a warning here for all civic politicians.

00:00:21.440 People are not happy.

00:00:23.240 The cost of living, unaffordable housing, and traffic gridlock.

00:00:26.980 These are the top issues for people in Toronto, and there's pessimism over problems ever being fixed.

00:00:33.640 The Canada Pulse Insights poll found only 36% of respondents say the city is on the right track, while 64% say Toronto is going in the wrong direction.

00:00:43.880 Longtime Toronto councillor and former mayoral candidate Josh Matlow says he understands why.

00:00:49.340 You know, last year's snow removal, for example, was completely inept.

00:00:54.460 We need to make sure that people can get around the city.

00:00:56.820 We need to make sure that people are safe and lean in on every effort and every tool we have in the toolbox to make the city more affordable.

00:01:03.320 So what does this mean for the current administration at City Hall?

00:01:07.060 Olivia Chow was elected in 2023 in a by-election after John Tory resigned.

00:01:12.280 She's overseen increases in property taxes, but has also negotiated a significant funding deal with the provincial government.

00:01:19.400 Pollsters asked, is Mayor Olivia Chow doing a good or bad job for our city?

00:01:24.280 49% said good, 51% said bad.

00:01:28.060 I can't believe it.

00:01:29.240 It must be a full moon or something.

00:01:31.160 The mainstream media is actually admitting that the majority of Torontonians, the people that live in Toronto, don't like Olivia Chow and think she's doing a bad job.

00:01:40.480 So I hate to bother you guys, but I've noticed that my videos, they're not getting as much traction as they normally do.

00:01:45.560 So if you see this, let me know in the comment section, give me a quick like, and make sure you're subscribed.

00:01:51.580 A lot of people that were subscribed have told me that YouTube for some reason unsubscribed them.

00:01:56.200 So just double check that and let me know.

00:01:58.820 Thanks.

00:01:59.440 Let's get back to the action.

00:02:00.500 Desire for change is always going to be there.

00:02:14.200 Any poll, when you ask people, are you interested in a change?

00:02:17.600 They're going to say, yeah, could things be better?

00:02:19.320 Of course.

00:02:19.740 But when you see half or even more than half of all Torontonians saying they think Chow is doing a good job, it means that the desire for change isn't necessarily a change in leadership.

00:02:29.260 Could a change in leadership come from the past?

00:02:35.400 John Torrey resigned from office after admitting to an affair with a staffer in his office.

00:02:40.220 He hasn't said whether he'll run, only that he's mulling it over.

00:02:44.060 How would he fare?

00:02:45.440 According to pollsters, Mayor Olivia Chow would win with 29%.

00:02:49.600 Torrey's support is 24%.

00:02:52.280 Toronto City Councillor Brad Bradford, the only declared candidate, has 8% support,

00:02:57.640 but the top number is none of these, but possibly someone else at 33%.

00:03:03.160 That certainly struck me.

00:03:04.380 It's interesting when the mayor's personal approval ratings in Toronto are reasonably high,

00:03:08.480 but if you actually look at right track, wrong track, time for change, that's two-thirds.

00:03:12.500 That is significant.

00:03:13.540 The public at large is saying elected representatives are not fixing the issues that matter to us at a municipal level.

00:03:19.820 Outside the city of Toronto, things are not much better for local politicians.

00:03:23.320 In fact, both in Toronto and outside, two-thirds of respondents say the local mayor and politicians

00:03:30.300 are not paying attention to the issues that matter most.

00:03:34.740 Alan Carter, City News.

00:03:37.160 Now, this is looking really bad for Olivia Chow.

00:03:39.660 Now, you know if the left-wing mainstream media is calling you out and you're a left-wing politician,

00:03:44.840 you're in trouble.

00:03:46.000 Mainstream media is also indicating that John Torrey might make a comeback.

00:03:49.180 And to be fair, at least in my opinion, he'd do a way better job than Chow. 0.98

00:03:54.180 Chow has let the city be overrun by Indian gangsters, radical Muslims, and crack dealers and addicts. 1.00

00:04:01.120 The city is a literal zoo right now. 0.97

00:04:03.420 If you've been to downtown Toronto recently, and I would recommend against that,

00:04:07.140 you would know, this place is a literal war zone.

00:04:10.560 And Olivia Chow is to blame for that. 0.96

00:04:12.640 Now, just on a side note, I actually did an impromptu interview with John Torrey,

00:04:16.380 the previous mayor of Toronto, many years ago.

00:04:18.500 So, let's take a quick look at that.

00:04:20.500 Yes, I am.

00:04:21.500 Are you aware that the management of bringing me the bus is outside of Carolina?

00:04:25.020 No, but I isolated you from Acorn.

00:04:26.840 I was working with Acorn.

00:04:28.440 Are you a resident of the building?

00:04:29.740 I was of 650.

00:04:30.680 No, are you a resident now?

00:04:32.000 Okay, were you a resident of Cabin Park?

00:04:33.620 Yes.

00:04:34.100 You are.

00:04:34.640 Okay, because I'll only tell you, they've been very good about meeting with all kinds of people.

00:04:38.480 They met with me.

00:04:39.320 Okay.

00:04:40.360 City officials, they met with the fire department, they met with other landlords.

00:04:43.960 So, in fact, they wouldn't meet with you.

00:04:45.300 I'm not being this disrespectfully to you, but I mean, they have a lot of other meetings

00:04:48.840 where they're actually trying to find the fire department and stuff like that that are

00:04:51.380 probably, I would say, really a priority.

00:04:53.680 Okay.

00:04:54.060 They've been having all kinds of things.

00:04:55.280 They're not hiding.

00:04:56.000 I assure you.

00:04:56.480 I mean, I'm just referring to the protest when we had about 60 people outside, and we were

00:05:00.400 asking them to come outside meet with us, and they wouldn't do it.

00:05:02.820 So, you're aware of that?

00:05:03.600 Well, not exactly, but I don't know who the 60 people were, but they were with Acorn and

00:05:08.340 like affiliated with that.

00:05:10.220 So, we talked, okay, well, if they're Acorn, people are non-tenants, I would understand why

00:05:13.640 the landlord wouldn't be a protest, because they would vote to tenants.

00:05:16.180 Okay.

00:05:16.520 And the tenants have to be priority, not protest.

00:05:18.580 To be frank.

00:05:19.320 Okay.

00:05:19.560 I mean, again, I welcome people's right to protest.

00:05:27.200 I think what's really important is that the landlord and the property man, agreed with

00:05:30.760 apartment owners and hotels, agreed with city officials, agreed with car guard, I mean,

00:05:35.120 to get the building fixed and minding them, that has to be the best.

00:05:38.840 And they've been very good.

00:05:41.820 But I'm not saying that there was 90% in tenant.

00:05:47.080 Okay.

00:05:47.300 He didn't say that, because now when I asked him, with 90% tenants, we did discuss with

00:05:52.940 them yesterday, and the need for there to be some kind of meeting to take place, whether

00:05:56.280 it's a, you know, one meeting or a series of meetings with the tenants, or, because right

00:06:01.240 now, we even have the kind of bar of the media, and probably you have too.

00:06:04.660 So, I think that will be helpful.

00:06:05.820 And I think they took that on for yesterday.

00:06:07.700 I know from to see some kind of meeting of some kind, take links to the next, uh, today.

00:06:13.340 Okay.

00:06:13.560 What would any focus on that we have asked him to do is like really, really laser focus

00:06:18.200 on getting housing.

00:06:19.200 And they are actually working at that, but the trouble is finding a private 10 at a

00:06:25.840 time, which is great, except it's 10, not 100, and so, you know, you need to find more

00:06:30.960 products.

00:06:31.340 If you could help us, a coin, by identifying places where you might know all the projects

00:06:35.220 that are available, that would be a great help to these tenants, given the fact that they

00:06:37.960 need more than anything, or a suite in the house or a room in the house, something that's

00:06:42.600 going to be suitable for people.

00:06:43.600 You know, some people are individual, they can live in a house or a suite in ours, others

00:06:47.780 have a family, they need a family, that's where you can really help us.

00:06:51.720 I was back in 2018 when I was trying to grow a beard.

00:07:09.360 I was back in 2018 when I was trying to grow a beard.

00:07:21.260 As you can see, I've, uh, since abandoned that pursuit.

00:07:25.040 However, if this is true, and you never know with the mainstream media, but let's just assume

00:07:29.180 it's true and Torontonians are turning on Olivia Chow. 1.00

00:07:32.640 That is great news for the future of Canada and could be a sign that Canada is on its way

00:07:37.620 to recovery.

00:07:38.620 I hope that Easterners, people in Eastern Canada wake up and realize the mistake they continuously 0.99

00:07:44.260 make when they vote liberal.

00:07:46.440 You need to stop voting liberal.

00:07:47.960 I live in Toronto and I'm telling everyone I know, stop voting liberal.

00:07:52.660 So my message to all my followers, all my great, patriotic, freedom-loving followers, have

00:07:57.540 some faith, have some patience, we'll have PolyEv in office soon enough, and we'll have

00:08:02.120 a better mayor for Toronto.
