Mark Slapinski

00:00:00.000 Pierre Polyev just roasted Mark Carney so badly that the public will never look at him the same

00:00:04.920 way again. If there was any doubt in your mind, any doubt at all that Polyev will be Prime Minister

00:00:10.540 and have a massive supermajority, you need to check out this video.

00:00:30.000 And if you're unfamiliar, a while back, Polyev verbally destroyed a journalist while casually

00:00:42.660 eating an apple. Here's a clip.

00:00:45.380 Just for some quick context, this video I'm going to show you is from Saturday at a press

00:00:53.320 gallery dinner in Ottawa. It starts off with comedian, quote unquote, Chris Wilson imitating

00:00:59.340 pure Polyev. Now, this part is really cringy and it's terribly unfunny, so I'm not going

00:01:04.160 to waste my time or your time showing it. However, if you need to see it, I'll post a link in the

00:01:09.100 description so you can watch the full video. The real magic starts later on when Polyev

00:01:13.660 starts speaking. So let's take a look at that.

00:01:15.760 As you know, Chris stars on This Hour Has 22 Minutes, which is the second funniest satire

00:01:24.060 on CBC after Power in Politics. You know, Chris, Chris is actually the most expensive comedian at

00:01:34.460 the CBC and, in fact, the most expensive in the entire world if you measure on a cost per laugh

00:01:40.880 basis. Now, just to be clear, to all the CBC staff who are gathered here today, don't believe what you

00:01:48.600 hear. And by the way, when I speak of CBC staff, I'm not just talking about the PMO comm shop.

00:01:53.280 I'm talking about all of you. I never said I was going to shut down the CBC. I said I was going

00:01:58.980 to defund it, which means that we can find some creative funding methods to keep it going. Like

00:02:05.360 maybe they could move their head office to a Caribbean tax haven so that Brookfield could pay

00:02:10.100 for it. The company might have some spare office space above that bicycle shop in Bermuda. Or another

00:02:18.640 revenue source would be for David Cochran to start charging for the water he carries for the

00:02:23.260 Liberal Party. The third way, the third way is for me to donate royalties. And I'm announcing that

00:02:30.840 I will do that today. Royalties for all those who copy me, imitate me, or steal my ideas.

00:02:39.960 I think Mark Carney is here today. He wanted to have an impersonator of his own, but then he discovered

00:02:47.820 that Mr. Burns is a cartoon. I love it. Polyev is not holding any punches right here. And of course,

00:02:54.400 he's making insults under the guise of humor. So not only is it true, but it's also quite hilarious,

00:03:00.080 at least in my opinion. Now, Chris Wilson, he seems like a nice guy, but he's really not that funny.

00:03:04.920 Considering how much money CBC gets from the taxpayers, the least they could do is find someone

00:03:09.400 for their programs. That's actually funny because he's not it. Now, the Mr. Burns reference,

00:03:14.260 that was the icing on the cake. In case you didn't catch that, that's a reference to a Simpsons

00:03:18.920 character, Mr. Burns, the old wealthy guy that everybody hates. Now, here's a picture of a meme

00:03:24.320 comparing Mr. Burns and Mark Carney. But what I showed you, that's just the beginning. The best

00:03:29.620 parts are yet to come. Let's continue watching Polyev roasting Carney in public. 0.91

00:03:33.640 But who's ready to tax the tax? Build the homes. Oh, wait a sec here. They gave me my speech for

00:03:41.820 the January Conservative Convention. Jesus, there's got to be some content in here I can use.

00:03:48.940 Down with the out-of-touch elites. Oh, wrong crowd.

00:03:53.080 Um, I know, uh, no more greasy lobbyists. Oh, that's not going to work either. Um, fire the

00:04:05.060 overpaid consultants. Oh, I see Regan Watts is here tonight, so that's not going to work. 0.92

00:04:11.820 All right. I guess we're going to have to settle for some more boring three-word verb-to-noun

00:04:17.300 slogans like, eat the food, drink the booze, fake the laughs. But it wasn't just the slogans that

00:04:24.900 people criticized about my last campaign. Look, and fair enough, you know, we made some great gains.

00:04:29.940 We added 25 seats, 2.5 million votes, but we need to get over the top. And that means making some

00:04:35.300 adjustments and some changes. And that means I have to look inward into what changes I have to make.

00:04:41.220 I've been told since the election that I need to gain those extra few percentage points by being more

00:04:47.540 lovable and human. So naturally, I've commissioned a poll on how to do that. And the preliminary results

00:04:55.220 are in. Option A, I can get a dog. Or option B, and I'm quoting the pollster here, I can find more

00:05:02.500 meaningful ways to connect with people on a personal level and make emotional connections

00:05:06.420 with Canadians. So I immediately called the pollster and said, what kind of dog?

00:05:17.300 Now, clearly, we conservatives do need to be a lot more pleasant. And I hear these reports about

00:05:26.580 people kicking in doors, calling each other snakes, yelling. And I thought, who leaked this morning's

00:05:33.860 staff meeting? I'm like, come on, none of you really believed Chris D'Entremont's story about being

00:05:42.020 threatened and intimidated by my whip and my house leader. Have any of you actually seen

00:05:49.540 my whip and my house leader? Andrew Scheer has not intimidated anyone in the history of man.

00:05:56.580 And Chris Workington, well, he is like the, he is so skinny. He's like the poster child

00:06:02.980 for long-term OSEMPIC abuse. But the whole thing has us all thinking about caucus management. I think

00:06:12.580 that Stephen Gibault would actually agree that this is very important. I hear that the NDP

00:06:18.180 actually rejected having Gibault join their caucus. What an ego blow. Come on, Don. Is Don Davies here

00:06:24.980 tonight? Don, come on, man. Taggers can't be choosers. And surely, Stephen Gibault's brand of crazy

00:06:33.860 would fit in right between the delegation of furries and the Queers for Palestine. 0.91

00:06:39.940 Honestly, that was hilarious. Now, I know, of course, there's some weird left-wing groups out there.

00:06:45.300 But one of the weirdest is Queers for Palestine. Whoever formed that activist group, they need to 1.00

00:06:50.420 have their head examined. Seriously. Do these people have any idea what people in Palestine, 1.00

00:06:56.020 what radical Muslims do to queer people? I'm going to tell you. They either hang them or they behead 1.00

00:07:01.460 them. And that's the way it is in most Muslim majority countries, except for Turkey. Israel doesn't 1.00

00:07:07.300 do that. Just saying. I see that Elizabeth, I, I see that Elizabeth May is here and that's great. But

00:07:16.660 I have to say, I get a little nervous around Elizabeth because she's a hugger. And of course,

00:07:21.140 I'm allergic to feelings. So we'll go back to the NDP. The NDP does have a table tonight.

00:07:28.900 Not a full table. They don't have official table status. But we can't forget about the NDP the way

00:07:36.340 Canadians did in the last election. And isn't it great to have the Prime Minister here tonight? Right

00:07:42.180 here in Canada, of all places. So he's been dodging me in question period. But Prime Minister,

00:07:49.860 I don't take it personally. So let's put those differences aside. And let's give him a big

00:07:54.580 Grey Cup welcome tonight, everybody.

00:08:01.460 Well, that was a little bit more kind and gentle than in Winnipeg where he got more booze than

00:08:07.460 Elizabeth May's liquor cabinet.

00:08:09.460 Oh boy, he really went there. Poliev just bitch slapped Elizabeth May and Mark Carney. Poliev is on fire. 0.99

00:08:16.100 And economist, Mr. May, Mr. May is Mr. Carney, of course, is an economist and economists deal with

00:08:23.780 incentives. And I understand he promised that the media outlet that gave him the biggest applause

00:08:30.180 will get the biggest bailout tonight. But he is right about one thing. Canada does face an existential

00:08:36.340 crisis and threats against our sovereignty from a foreign leader. Let's take a look at what we're 1.00

00:08:42.660 dealing with here. We're dealing with a very tough guy who's staring us down and facing us

00:08:49.460 with a number of very big threats. So all of us have to come together and get on message. But the

00:08:56.180 trouble, Prime Minister, is I'm having a difficulty finding out what the latest slogan is. And you know

00:09:00.900 how much I love slogans. And we're all wondering how you went from elbows up to who cares. And we're told

00:09:09.140 that the answer is that the big change happened when the President threatened you that if you didn't

00:09:14.580 back down, then he would grab you by the pipeline. It certainly has been a busy time for the Prime

00:09:21.940 Minister in international travel, checking on his investment, sorry, trade negotiations. If he's not

00:09:28.580 been fighting for mom and pop shops like Brookfield trying to get into Gulf States, we haven't seen such an

00:09:35.460 altruistic champion of Canada's economy abroad since the Chinese lent us Dominic Barton. But the 1.00

00:09:42.100 Prime Minister can't do this work all on his own. Dominic LeBlanc can't do it all for him either. I think

00:09:48.900 Dominic now has more portfolios than any minister in Canadian history. I think he's just added heritage to

00:09:55.700 it. Prime Minister, give Dominic a break. Please let him focus on the thing that is most passionate in

00:10:03.220 his life, like giving contracts to his closest family members. Let me say I can't wait to be

00:10:09.060 Prime Minister so that I never have to come back to this godforsaken event.

00:10:15.620 As you know, I've banned all of my MPs from coming to this event. So as soon as I find out that I was

00:10:22.260 here, I will be kicking myself out of caucus. But in the meantime, on behalf of Doug Ford, let me propose a toast.

00:10:34.180 To the Parliamentary Press Gallery. Without you, anonymous sources would have to get a real job.

00:10:40.260 So, everybody, please raise a glass to the Parliamentary Press Gallery.

00:10:48.100 How's that for a change in tone? Thank you very much, everybody.

00:10:51.060 In my opinion, that was an amazing performance by Polyev, one of his best. He completely put Carney

00:10:56.340 and these other corrupt, lying liberal politicians in their place, but did it with some gentle, or 0.93

00:11:02.340 maybe not so gentle, humor. That's what I love about Polyev. Not only is he well-spoken and obviously very 0.92

00:11:08.180 intelligent, but he has a great sense of humor. Now, I think this is the Polyev we need to see more of. 1.00

00:11:14.100 We need to see a bit more of that Polyev humor. Now, look, if there was any dote in your mind, any dote at all of 0.98

00:11:20.340 Polyev's ability to lead Canada, rewatch that video. I don't care what anyone says. Carney is done. Carney is done.

00:11:27.780 And when I say done, I obviously don't mean tomorrow. I don't want people to think I'm misleading them and

00:11:33.380 telling them that it's going to be over right away. No, it won't be over before Christmas. However, I still

00:11:39.060 believe it will be over soon enough. There's no way Canadians can watch stuff like that and come to any

00:11:44.980 other conclusion. Carney is incompetent. Carney is a fool. He's duplicitous. He lied to Canadians and he 0.99

00:11:52.340 needs to go. And I truly believe he'll be out soon. Minority governments never last in Canada and 1.00

00:11:58.020 Carney's government. It won't be the exception. Carney failed to get a deal with Donald Trump. That was

00:12:03.060 his whole thing. He was supposed to be this mighty, experienced, intelligent negotiator. He was supposed

00:12:09.540 to be God's gift to Canada. The only person that could get a deal with Donald Trump. And look what

00:12:14.500 happened. There's no deal. And that's on top. That's on top of the sky high deficit. We're only

00:12:21.060 getting started right here. There's a lot of problems coming Carney's way. All Carney has really

00:12:25.460 done is lie to Canadians, fail to live up to his campaign promises and show the world how incompetent he

00:12:31.620 really is. On top of that, a big part of his base, they're gone. They're going to the NDP. They hate

00:12:37.220 pipelines and they hate that deal with Daniel Smith. And if you want to know more about that, check out

00:12:42.180 my other recent video. Now, after watching this, my faith in Polyev has been restored. And now I've 0.75

00:12:47.300 always had faith. Maybe it went down to about 99% and now it's back up to 100%. I truly believe that

00:12:53.940 Polyev is going to form a powerful, super majority government and he could do it as early as this summer.

00:13:00.100 Have a bit of patience. Have a little bit more faith. We're going to win. We're going to win big.

00:13:05.620 Thanks for tuning in. Hope you like my new setup. If you have any feedback about the video,

00:13:10.340 audio, stories, titles, anything like that, let me know below. Talk to you tomorrow, Patriots.
