00:00:38.800 refugees and we need to unlock our resources to produce cheap energy and affordable homes. So

00:01:43.620 to point out a lot of people run in elections as a publicity stunt. They do this so they can brag to

00:01:48.800 their friends, get their name out there or just get attention in general so I want to throw it out

00:01:53.840 there because I believe a lot of these people running know they're not going to win. Just a

00:01:57.640 side note there. Now I can only speculate but it appears that Polyev truly is listening to his base

00:02:02.200 and that's why he keeps hammering home the points about immigration. Immigration is something that

00:02:07.020 conservatives and most Canadians care about so I'm happy to see him talking about that. Like I've said

00:02:12.460 before if conservatives really want to win an election they need to focus on two things

00:02:16.180 tax reform and immigration reform. We need to get the immigration system under control

00:02:21.400 and we need lower taxes. Those are two things that I believe the majority of Canadians want

00:02:26.740 and that's backed up by polls and we can win if we focus on that. Our government truly needs to get

00:02:45.340 house arrest. He didn't even get jail. The good thing is that Polyev called it out on X. I'm going

00:02:50.860 to read that tweet right here. Liberal laws allow violent terrorists to threaten their safety and get

00:02:55.580 off with house arrest. Mark Carney has changed nothing. Crime worsens and danger grows. I believe

00:03:02.020 Polyev is 100% right about that. Canada is one of those few countries where you can threaten to commit

00:03:07.000 a terrorist attack and not go to jail and that needs to change. So as far as the next steps go,

00:03:12.300 Polyev will be running in the by-election in Battle River Crowfoot which is central Alberta

00:03:16.780 August 18th. The last guy Damian Keurig won with 83% of the vote so this should be an easy victory

00:03:23.960 for Polyev. Once he wins he'll be set to go back to the house of commons this fall so he can hold

00:03:28.640 Mark Carney to account. I will acknowledge that Polyev faces some opposition from the separatist

00:03:33.120 movement but whether you agree with it or not it's not a popular movement. Now unlike other political

00:03:38.340 commentators I like to look at polls. There's a whole science behind polls and if polls are done

00:03:43.300 properly it gives you a good snapshot of how the population feels about a certain topic. One of the

00:03:48.640 mistakes that people make is just because something appears popular on social media and their friends

00:03:53.280 and family support it they think that everybody supports it. However sometimes that's not the case

00:04:02.680 67% of Albertans disapprove of Alberta becoming an independent nation and I'll attach a link to the

00:04:09.060 survey in the description. And regardless of what other people say how other people feel I firmly

00:04:14.040 believe that Canada is better off united and we'd all be better off with Polyev in power. So obviously

00:04:19.980 none of us can predict the future but based on what I'm seeing Alberta will likely stay part of Canada

00:04:25.260 Polyev will win the election and return to the house of commons and then if we want conservatives to win

00:04:31.280 the next election we need to play the long game but this time we have to do it properly.
