00:00:00.000 I have some great news for you tonight, patriots.
00:00:02.440 The infamous Mark Carney will be out of office next year,
00:00:05.520 and it's due to his inability to deal with one central issue.
00:00:09.140 That's right, cost of living.
00:00:11.700 Even his trusted propaganda outlet, the CBC admitted that the cost of living
00:00:15.800 is getting out of control in this country.
00:00:18.040 Let's take a look at that.
00:00:19.400 With last-minute Christmas shopping in full swing,
00:00:23.200 we get some stuff for Christmas dinner,
00:00:25.160 a harsh reality, prices just keep going up,
00:00:28.360 and food is particularly costly.
00:00:31.280 We find the shopping experience overall to be, yeah, very shockingly expensive.
00:00:38.180 It doesn't matter if it's, you know, something for the holidays
00:00:41.600 or just something every day, it seems everything is getting pretty pricey.
00:00:45.780 According to Statistics Canada,
00:00:47.480 although Canada's annual inflation rate held steady at 2.2% in November,
00:00:52.900 grocery prices were up 4.7% compared to the same time last year.
00:00:58.860 It's the largest increase in that category in two years.
00:01:02.440 Absolutely recognize the pressure on Canadians.
00:01:05.080 In an interview with CBC News Chief Political Correspondent Rosemary Barton,
00:01:09.640 Prime Minister Mark Carney acknowledged the added strain
00:01:12.940 and said the government is trying to find ways to tackle affordability.
00:01:16.800 Child care, pharma care, dental care.
00:01:18.820 11 million Canadians are now eligible for dental care.
00:01:21.840 National school food program being made permanent.
00:01:24.940 All of those aspects, and of course, preserving the transfers to the provinces.
00:01:28.200 Health and well-being, those are the sacrifices that are happening as we speak.
00:01:31.460 This food insecurity expert says that reprieve can't come soon enough.
00:01:35.720 For those who are most vulnerable,
00:01:37.800 the effects of rising food prices is far too much,
00:01:41.080 and the consequences go beyond the dinner table.
00:01:43.740 These people are struggling in ways that are significant.
00:01:47.000 They are more likely right now to be turning up in an emergency department
00:01:50.080 or to be in a hospital, to be admitted.
00:01:53.460 Once they're admitted, they'll stay longer.
00:01:56.040 Carney says Ottawa has made a series of additional adjustments,
00:01:59.660 like cutting taxes, in hopes a new year brings new relief.
00:02:03.640 So it is a fact that Canadians are struggling more than they've ever struggled before.
00:02:07.840 And there's only one person people can blame for that.
00:02:10.660 Mark Carney.
00:02:11.220 Now, as I understand it, Mark Carney was supposed to have one thing that Justin Trudeau didn't,
00:02:15.380 and that was the ability to actually manage an economy.
00:02:18.380 But it turns out that Mark Carney misled Canadians on that issue.
00:02:21.940 We were supposed to get a massive upgrade, but instead, we got a massive downgrade.
00:02:26.680 To be fair, a lot of the damage was already done by the previous government.
00:02:29.960 However, Mark Carney is simply not doing enough to remedy the situation.
00:02:34.140 To be fair, and I like to be fair,
00:02:36.020 the memorandum of understanding which the federal government signed with Alberta,
00:02:39.440 that was a step in the right direction.
00:02:41.900 However, it's just a step.
00:02:44.060 It's just one measly little step in the right direction.
00:02:47.880 Now, Mark Carney has been in office for most of this year,
00:02:51.060 and I think we all deserve a little bit more than just a step in the right direction.
00:02:55.280 Now, the good news for conservative voters is that Canadians,
00:02:58.940 and even liberals, are starting to realize that the cost of living is getting out of control,
00:03:03.320 and Mark Carney simply doesn't have a plan to deal with it.
00:03:05.800 Now, one of the best ways for a country to succeed economically
00:03:08.600 is the development and sale of natural resources.
00:03:11.860 This gives people jobs.
00:03:14.180 This allows the government to collect tax revenue.
00:03:17.200 And on top of that, if Canada were to become a major supplier of oil and gas,
00:03:22.500 that gives us leverage in trade negotiations, right?
00:03:26.080 Because if we have a problem, we can always threaten to turn off the taps.
00:03:29.200 That gives any country that does that a lot of power.
00:03:32.400 Now, of course, natural resource projects take a lot of time and money,
00:03:36.280 so I'm not expecting Carney to snap his fingers and make a pipeline pop out of thin air.
00:03:40.820 However, he could have done a lot more work than he's done,
00:03:44.120 and that's my problem with him.
00:03:45.500 As people slowly realize they don't have money to afford groceries,
00:03:49.500 rent, and the other necessities of life,
00:03:52.260 they're going to turn on the government.
00:03:53.820 Now, I truly believe that this is the issue that will sink Carney in 2026.
00:03:57.940 Now, remember, we don't need to convince every single liberal to vote conservative.
00:04:02.680 All we need is a few percentage of the people to switch sides,
00:04:06.220 and then we're in majority territory.
00:04:08.260 A lot of people say in my comment section,
00:04:10.360 I've lost faith.
00:04:11.560 The liberals, they're too brainwashed.
00:04:13.600 And I get that.
00:04:14.420 A lot of liberals are brainwashed,
00:04:16.560 but we don't need to convince all of them.
00:04:18.520 Like I said, we only need about 3% of them
00:04:21.040 to switch their votes over to conservatives,
00:04:22.740 and then we win.
00:04:23.780 Now, Mark Carney already failed on his central campaign promise,
00:04:27.100 which is to get a good deal with Donald Trump,
00:04:29.240 and to end this whole trade war.
00:04:31.160 Mark Carney sold himself as this expert economic genius,
00:04:34.600 this master negotiator,
00:04:36.280 God's gift to Canada,
00:04:37.900 the only person that was qualified to get a deal with Donald Trump.
00:04:41.520 Now, unless I'm missing something,
00:04:43.200 we don't have a deal.
00:04:44.440 Now, based on my observations on social media,
00:04:46.940 a lot of liberals will probably let that slide.
00:04:49.540 However, what a lot of people won't let slide
00:04:51.640 is the fact that the economy is failing,
00:04:54.320 and the cost of living is getting out of control.
00:04:56.280 Once people start to feel the effects of policies in their pocketbook,
00:04:59.920 that's when attitudes start to change.
00:05:02.060 I'm going to back this up with some statistics.
00:05:04.160 Let's look at a recent survey by Abacus Data.
00:05:06.600 Fully, 67% of Canadians say the cost of living where they live
00:05:09.820 is the worst they can ever remember it being.
00:05:11.880 Another 21% say it is bad,
00:05:13.920 but they remember times when it was worse.
00:05:15.840 Just 11% say the cost of living is not bad.
00:05:18.800 In the United States,
00:05:19.900 46% of Americans recently said the cost of living
00:05:22.580 was the worst they could remember,
00:05:24.560 suggesting Canadians are feeling this pressure even more acutely.
00:05:27.840 And I've attached a link in the description
00:05:29.180 so you can read into this report more if you want.
00:05:31.760 So the report states that 81% of Canadians
00:05:34.320 are worried about the cost of groceries.
00:05:36.840 And what's really concerning
00:05:38.020 is that when you go to the bracket,
00:05:40.200 age 60 and older, elders, seniors,
00:05:42.800 that number jumps up to 93%.
00:05:44.940 That means that old people in this country
00:05:47.480 are really worried about the price of groceries.
00:05:49.780 And that makes sense
00:05:50.520 because a lot of older people are on fixed incomes
00:05:52.700 and they have a limited amount of money to spend.
00:05:54.820 However, like always,
00:05:56.320 Paulie have a plan to deal with that,
00:05:57.940 which he explained in a recent interview
00:05:59.340 with the Toronto Sun with Brian Lilly.
00:06:01.220 Let's take a quick look at that.
00:06:02.740 When Abacus digs deeper,
00:06:04.980 groceries is the number one issue.
00:06:06.820 Absolutely.
00:06:07.960 Well, the question isn't what the government should do.
00:06:09.900 It's what it should stop doing.
00:06:12.180 Stop taxing food.
00:06:14.440 Stop taxing the food chain.
00:06:16.480 You know, you raise this in the House
00:06:17.800 and the liberal will always say
00:06:18.780 there's no taxes on food.
00:06:19.840 Okay.
00:06:20.960 Well, if you tax the steel
00:06:22.800 that goes into farm equipment,
00:06:25.600 then you're making it more expensive
00:06:27.500 for farmers to produce food.
00:06:28.820 You tax fertilizer,
00:06:30.300 which is hit with the industrial carbon tax,
00:06:32.840 then you're taxing food production.
00:06:35.180 The fuel tax,
00:06:36.560 they call it the fuel standard,
00:06:38.540 that's driving up the cost of gas
00:06:40.580 and diesel for farmers and truckers
00:06:42.560 who bring us our food.
00:06:43.440 Then you've got the food packaging tax,
00:06:45.100 which is this ban on the use of plastics.
00:06:47.900 Well, that makes food go bad four days earlier
00:06:51.260 and that costs a billion dollars
00:06:53.320 in higher grocery bills.
00:06:55.140 Not to mention when the government
00:06:56.420 has a $78 billion deficit,
00:06:58.780 that also inflates food prices.
00:07:01.060 So, at the end of the day,
00:07:02.900 those are all liberal food taxes.
00:07:05.140 Are they on your bill?
00:07:06.400 No.
00:07:07.060 They're worse than that.
00:07:07.900 It's worse that they're not on the bill
00:07:09.320 because they're hidden,
00:07:11.640 dishonest, liberal taxes
00:07:14.400 that drive up the cost of groceries.
00:07:16.620 And it's why the cost of food keeps rising.
00:07:18.560 Next year, according to Dalhousie University,
00:07:21.760 the grocery bill for a family of four
00:07:23.360 will be up another $1,000
00:07:24.640 to $17,600 to feed a family of four.
00:07:29.300 Like, where do people get that money?
00:07:32.220 It's going to be a nightmare.
00:07:35.220 And we've got to get rid of all those taxes
00:07:37.360 because people should be able to have
00:07:39.140 a full stomach, a full fridge,
00:07:41.220 and a full bank account at the same time.
00:07:43.160 And as always,
00:07:44.200 Polyev just makes too much sense.
00:07:46.520 It's just common sense.
00:07:48.260 Less taxes on food
00:07:49.560 means that food costs less
00:07:51.660 and that Canadians can buy more food.
00:07:54.580 Instead of being forced to spend money
00:07:56.400 to fund the bloated government,
00:07:58.220 people can put that money in their pockets
00:08:00.740 where it belongs.
00:08:02.440 What an idea.
00:08:03.440 But like I've said before,
00:08:04.380 I'm extremely confident.
00:08:06.160 I'm extremely confident
00:08:07.220 that Carney will be out next year in 2026.
00:08:10.100 There's no way he's going to last a full term.
00:08:12.720 Carney is still one seat short of a majority.
00:08:15.620 Now, if he can't convince another MP
00:08:17.500 from the Conservatives to switch sides,
00:08:19.540 he'll be forced to call an election
00:08:21.000 at a certain point.
00:08:22.200 He doesn't have to,
00:08:22.980 but that's very likely.
00:08:24.320 So it's entirely possible
00:08:25.660 we could see another federal election
00:08:27.340 in spring or summer.
00:08:29.220 And if that happens,
00:08:30.320 there's a great chance Polyev could win.
00:08:32.500 Now, even if Carney makes another backroom deal
00:08:34.820 and blackmail someone
00:08:36.480 into joining the Liberals,
00:08:38.220 I still have faith
00:08:39.120 that Polyev will remain party leader
00:08:41.100 and eventually become Prime Minister.
00:08:43.440 It's just going to push things back a little bit.
00:08:46.140 So thanks for tuning in.
00:08:47.520 I love you all.
00:08:48.600 Have a great night.
00:08:49.360 Talk to you tomorrow, Patriots.
