00:00:00.000 Right-wingers in Canada, they're spreading an unhinged and completely fabricated claim
00:00:04.820 about the former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.
00:00:08.820 This has to be one of the most unhinged and absurd claims these guys have posted this year,
00:00:14.360 and that says a lot.
00:00:15.680 I wouldn't be surprised if some of these people end up in court for defamation.
00:00:19.100 Conservatives, well, they're having a rough year.
00:00:21.680 The Conservative Party in Canada lost its fourth election in a row,
00:00:24.920 with its leader Pierre Polyev losing his longtime seat in Ottawa.
00:00:29.440 Now, he managed to stay the leader of the party, but things have only gotten worse and worse for him.
00:00:35.200 Four members of his party, they've left, they're gone, they've gone to Mark Carney's Liberal Party.
00:00:39.920 And this is while the Liberal Party still leads in the polls.
00:00:43.400 Naturally, instead of doing some self-reflection,
00:00:46.460 right-wing podcasters are now promoting an unhinged conspiracy theory about the former Prime Minister.
00:00:51.680 Here's a clip from Mario Zalaya.
00:00:53.280 This is massive and breaking news.
00:00:55.060 a lawsuit was just filed against the Toronto Star because they did not publish the fact that they
00:01:02.660 were given information by an RCMP officer that Justin Trudeau was accessing child, I'm not going
00:01:10.500 to say the word, but it rhymes with corn. You heard that right. Soleil claims that the Toronto Star,
00:01:16.580 a left-wing newspaper, did not publish the fact that they were given information by an RCMP
00:01:21.460 officer that justin trudeau was accessing child abuse material online when he was prime minister
00:01:27.140 okay and this is the guy that the conservative party leader brought to his leadership convention 0.99
00:01:31.300 in calgary now listen to what this other idiot podcaster had to say this guy goes by the name 0.96
00:01:37.620 moose on the loose being the toronto star is being sued for failing to publicly reveal that 0.98
00:01:43.140 according to the rcmp and according to this lawsuit justin trudeau was watching kitty
00:01:49.140 corn. The source of this story is an author writing a book about Justin Trudeau. He filed
00:01:54.680 documents in small claims court. It's basically hearsay. He doesn't attach a single shred of
00:02:00.220 evidence to back up his claims. Anyone can file a claim in small claims court. It doesn't prove
00:02:04.660 anything. Now, if the RCMP had acknowledged that Trudeau was accessing child abuse material,
00:02:09.740 they would have filed charges against him. They're not just going to relay the story to the Toronto
00:02:13.960 star of all places also if you look at the x page from the guy that filed the lawsuit
00:02:19.080 he's clearly a right-wing nut job and he's just trying to promote a book the way this works is
00:02:23.800 that when you make a claim you have to provide proof and i don't see any proof that justin
00:02:28.760 trudeau abused children filing a poorly written lawsuit in small claims court doesn't prove
00:02:35.000 anything now i'm not a lawyer but i don't think there's a legal case for suing a newspaper
00:02:39.480 for a story they didn't publish the fact that these right-wing podcasters are running with
00:02:43.560 this story shows they don't care about the facts. They care more about making their political
00:02:48.560 opponents look bad. And unfortunately for them, both the current Prime Minister and our former
00:02:54.700 Prime Minister, they did a pretty good job. Neither of them are perfect, but these idiots, 1.00
00:02:59.740 they don't really have a lot to work with. Just to reiterate, there's no evidence Justin Trudeau 1.00
00:03:03.620 abused children. And unless I see a police report, I'm not buying it. The far right,
00:03:09.040 they're losing power in this country. And it's funny watching all the dumb shit they try to 1.00
00:03:12.620 pass off as fact. 1.00
