00:06:18.100 ndp voters and a lot of conservative voters too the polls proved it to be accurate and the liberal
00:06:23.860 party won a minority government. Poliev, he lost his longtime seat in Ottawa. How embarrassing is
00:06:29.340 that? About a year and a half since that speech, Poliev and the Conservative party, they're in a
00:06:34.180 really rough shape. Five Conservative MPs have left Poliev's party, with four of them crossing
00:06:39.420 over to the Liberals and one becoming a senator. The majority of Canadians now believe that Carney,
00:06:44.340 he doesn't have a serious competitor, and that's according to a recent poll by Nanos.
00:06:48.380 If an election were held today, the Liberals would win a super majority, according to projections.
00:06:52.800 If this proves anything, it shows that what Carney is doing is working and what Polyev is doing is not working.
00:06:59.800 Carney was able to effectively capitalize on Polyev's unwillingness to stand up to Trump.
00:07:04.660 To be fair, Polyev did call out Trump for his tariffs a little bit, but at times he appeared to downplay the threat posed by Trump.

00:09:43.760 to win an election in Canada is to actually have good policies and convince Canadians that they can
