00:00:00.000 So this is quite alarming. President Donald Trump just threatened Canada with a 100% tariff
00:00:05.400 because of Prime Minister Mark Carney's trade deal with China. And Mark Carney actually wants
00:00:12.800 this. Why? Well, let's start with the basics. About 18 to 20% of U.S. trade is with Canada,
00:00:20.680 but 80% of Canada's trade is with the U.S. Our next biggest trading partner is China
00:00:26.920 at just 4%. So why gamble 80% of our economy for a 4% trading partner? That makes no sense.
00:00:36.860 Now here's where things get really weird. Trump and his own treasury secretary both said that
00:00:42.520 Canada's new trade deal with China is not a problem. Trump said it himself. His treasury
00:00:48.000 secretary went as far as mocking Canada, saying Canada is the size of Texas. So why should we care?
00:00:55.280 If this wasn't a problem then, why is it suddenly a problem now?
00:00:59.620 Why is Trump flip-flopping?
00:01:01.840 Well, just recently, a reporter asked Mark Carney, how are his talks with Trump going?
00:01:07.740 Carney responded with, boring question.
00:01:10.500 So what's really going on here?
00:01:12.520 Carney is instigating a trade war.
00:01:14.760 He ran on stopping it, and instead, it is continuing.
00:01:18.500 In fact, it's worse than ever.
00:01:20.560 Why?
00:01:21.520 Because if Carney had won a majority government in April 2025, things would be looking very
00:01:27.900 different.
00:01:28.280 He is dragging this on purpose because he thinks prolonging this crisis will help him
00:01:34.660 win a majority government.
00:01:36.740 This is Carney pulling the elbows up twice.
00:01:40.320 Once he finally gets a majority, there is a possibility that he'll suddenly stop the
00:01:45.180 chaos and say, see, all I needed was a majority.
00:01:48.740 This is incredibly dishonest and horrendous.
00:01:52.220 But here's where things get really terrifying.
00:01:55.020 Will this strategy work?
00:01:57.120 If they think it can, it is because it will.
00:02:00.240 The Liberal Party are really good at one thing and one thing only, and it is winning elections.
00:02:07.840 And if this is really their strategy, we should all be extremely concerned.
00:02:13.820 But why would Canadians fall for this again?
00:02:16.340 because we have fallen for it again and again.
00:02:19.700 We have been falling for it for over a decade now.
00:02:22.440 This government has hollowed out the country.
00:02:25.480 It has weakened, hurt, or shut down our independence, sovereignty, economy, resource industries,
00:02:31.640 free markets, and national culture.
00:02:33.960 They refuse to build pipelines, open minds, or seriously address rampant homelessness and
00:02:39.820 growing lawlessness.
00:02:41.140 they just passed a budget with an $80 billion deficit piled onto an already $1.3 trillion
00:02:47.900 national debt, resulting in over $70 billion a year in interest payments alone. That's right,
00:02:54.900 one of our largest government expenses is literally burning your money. And the icing on the cake,
00:03:01.160 large portions of our populations no longer even know what Canada is. The casual rewriting of our
00:03:08.580 history, branding the very foundation of our country as genocide or colonialism without any
00:03:14.960 historical context or evidence needed, has eroded our national identity. Our society is breaking
00:03:22.960 down in front of our eyes, and that is why Trump is all over us right now. We are allowing him to
00:03:29.960 be all over us. And when you actually start thinking about this more and more, you begin
00:03:35.480 asking a very uncomfortable question. Are Carney and Trump working together intentionally or not?
00:03:42.180 Because it is starting to look exactly like that. And more importantly, the one thing that gets
00:03:49.760 undermined here, the one thing that everybody seems to ignore, who pays the bill for all of this?
00:03:55.560 Who has to absorb the burden of this 100% tariff? Us, Canadians. This is all done at the expense
00:04:03.000 of our jobs, our families, and our prosperity. Our home and future is put at risk. All four
00:04:09.560 political games. So the question you got to ask is, why would Carney do this? What is personally
00:04:17.240 incentivizing him to do this? And the answer is very simple, money. Carney has significant
00:04:24.620 personal investment in China, which gives him every single incentive to stay cozy with Beijing.
00:04:30.460 At the same time, nearly 92% of his personal stock holdings are in the United States.
00:04:35.620 He owns hundreds of U.S. corporate stocks.
00:04:38.200 So while Canada suffers, U.S. interests benefit, and so does Carney's portfolio.
00:04:45.940 If Carney actually wanted Canada to outperform the United States, he would do exactly what he promised.
00:04:51.880 He would do what he ran on, work with Trump.
00:04:54.200 And additionally, he would cut taxes, slash regulations, reduce red tape, and make Canada a magnet for businesses fleeing the U.S. who are suffocating under Washington, D.C.
00:05:06.820 But he didn't do that. Why? Because his goal is not to serve Canada. His goal is the exact opposite.
00:05:13.520 it. He gets closer to China, which angers the United States. The US responds with tariffs on
00:05:19.420 Canada. Canada's economy takes a huge hit, but Carney personally benefits, financially and
00:05:25.860 politically. And electorally, this chaos fuels Canada's terminal Trump derangement syndrome
00:05:33.000 epidemic, which he believes he can exploit in a snap election to win a majority government.
00:05:40.180 This is exactly why Mark Carney is the worst prime minister in Canadian history.
00:05:44.740 Because he doesn't care about Canada.
00:05:47.240 He doesn't care about Canadians.
00:05:49.040 He's not serving us.
00:05:50.320 He's not serving this country.
00:05:51.760 He is serving himself and his wallet.
00:05:54.140 The sooner everybody realizes that, the sooner everything can get better.
