00:00:13.920 Well, let me explain to you the two types of Members of Parliament that are inside the Conservative Party.

00:01:50.580 blocks of non-citizens voting for the candidate, even though they can't vote for the candidate

00:02:00.740 Calgary, they of course voted to keep the powers of headquarters and still allow non-citizens to

00:02:06.420 vote in nomination races. And what makes this entire situation worse is the fact that the

00:02:20.460 or Chris D'Entremont. So ultimately, the 2025 election just made the infiltration issue

00:02:27.680 a whole lot worse. The conservatives are now breeding floor crossers. And this is on them.

00:02:36.660 There's nobody else to blame. At the end of the day, the only people who suffer are the voters,

00:02:42.560 the constituents, the volunteers, the canvassers, the people on the EDA boards, all those people

00:03:41.760 the Conservative Party has not only allowed the Liberals to stay in power for over a decade,

00:03:46.820 but now the problem is so severe that they're handing their own MPs to the Liberals. So the

00:05:21.520 they can vote for the party brand, or they can vote for both. But when party leadership

00:05:27.460 centralizes nominations, rewards loyalty over principle, and hollows out ideological clarity,

00:05:34.880 it produces NPC politicians who will only care about you once their paycheck is in danger.

00:05:41.980 So yes, when they cross the floor, they're technically exercising independent judgment.

00:05:47.420 But if those members of parliament never had convictions to begin with, it's not a principled

00:05:54.760 decision. It is a decision based on opportunity because they are opportunist. Also, this has led

00:06:01.320 to eroding the trust in our parliamentary system. This tarnished the credibility of our Westminster

00:06:09.400 model. So because the party's base is such a cult mentality, they are unable to call out the rot.

00:06:17.420 And even worse, they outright deny it.

00:06:20.200 So the party never fixes it.

00:06:22.260 And then they keep losing and losing and losing.

00:06:26.160 The conservative party base is full of good people who truly believe in what they stand for and they're loyal, which is great.

00:06:34.640 However, loyalty only works with accountability because without that, it starts to look like blind devotion or, in other words, a cult.

00:06:44.160 So, if the grassroots do not demand better leadership, nothing will change, especially if the rot benefits high-up party insiders.

00:07:01.000 Now, don't get me wrong, this cultish mentality with Canadian political parties applies to the liberals, the NDP, the PPC.
