00:00:00.000 You're a man of action. You live life to the fullest. Embrace your fears and boldly chart
00:00:04.980 your own path. When life knocks you down, you get back up one more time. Every time.
00:00:10.460 You are not easily deterred or defeated. Rugged. Resilient. Strong. This is your life. This is who
00:00:17.220 you are. This is who you will become. At the end of the day, and after all is said and done,
00:00:22.780 you can call yourself a man. Gentlemen, what is going on today? My name is Ryan Michler,
00:00:27.580 and I am the host and the founder of the order of man podcast and movement. I want to welcome you
00:00:32.180 here. I want to welcome you back. Glad you're tuning in. Uh, I'm sure at this point, the last
00:00:36.980 couple of weeks have been crazy, specifically in the U S on the heels in the back of U S elections.
00:00:42.420 I am recording this podcast on November 4th and you probably aren't listening to it until
00:00:50.900 November 13th. So we're about a week and a half away from when I actually recorded this podcast.
00:00:56.780 So we'll know a lot more, uh, regarding the U S elections, but I wanted to have this conversation
00:01:01.400 with you specifically right now. And also in light of me heading out of town for another hunt,
00:01:06.620 I'll be sure to share the details and everything that goes down on an elk hunt that I will be
00:01:12.060 participating in for the next week. But I wanted to make sure that I didn't miss any content. All
00:01:16.360 right. It's my job to give you all the tools, the conversations, the resources, everything that
00:01:21.180 you need to thrive as a man. And today I'm going to talk with you about dealing with after election
00:01:27.160 scenarios. Now I'm not going to prognosticate on who wins. Actually, I'm going to take that back.
00:01:32.880 I am going to give my prognostication and we'll see if I'm accurate or if I'm completely off base.
00:01:39.160 So let me give you a quick heads up, just so you know, for some context on where we are
00:01:44.100 with the election. So again, this is, uh, the morning of November 4th, the recording of this
00:01:49.980 podcast, 2020. And as of right now, I'm just pulling up some details right here. Uh, we've got
00:01:55.920 Joe Biden with 238 electoral votes and Donald Trump with 213. Uh, Nevada is not yet called.
00:02:04.160 I think Nevada will probably go blue and that will go to Biden. Uh, Wisconsin is very close.
00:02:11.180 It's leaning blue. Michigan was leaning red, but has since, uh, become a blue or leaning
00:02:18.320 blue. Uh, I think it's got something like 90% of the votes tallied at this point. So that
00:02:22.480 may go blue. And if that goes blue, uh, probably what we're going to see is Biden has won the
00:02:27.680 election. If that goes blue, uh, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia, uh, are all leaning
00:02:33.840 red. And it's likely that all of those States will go red, uh, which will, if that's the case,
00:02:39.800 if again on, on Michigan or Wisconsin, I think Wisconsin's very close as well. Uh, if either
00:02:45.380 one of those goes blue, excuse me, if two of those go blue, if two of those go blue, then
00:02:52.980 it's likely Joe Biden will win the nomination for president. If only one of those goes blue,
00:02:57.700 it's likely that, uh, Donald Trump will become a president or will, will stay in presidency.
00:03:03.860 So that's where we're at right now. Now, look, regardless of the outcome, and we'll probably
00:03:08.740 know, uh, I'm sure a lot of these States are very close. So I'm sure over the coming weeks,
00:03:12.680 we'll see you a lot of, uh, lawsuits and litigation, and, uh, it might actually be a nightmare,
00:03:17.820 but I thought about what I wanted to share with you today. And regardless of what happens during
00:03:22.360 these elections and the outcome of the elections, the scenarios in the, in the strategies, the 10
00:03:27.460 strategies I'm going to share with you specifically today, uh, are going to be applicable
00:03:32.240 regardless. Uh, my prediction is that if Joe Biden does win, we're probably going to see, uh, less
00:03:40.120 violence and looting and, uh, some of these things that have been happening in the past. And I,
00:03:45.400 and my prediction is that if, uh, Donald Trump wins, then we'll see an increased level of violence
00:03:52.360 and looting and rioting and everything else. So regardless though, we're going to see some very
00:03:58.040 interesting and challenging times. I think America is more divided than it's ever been.
00:04:02.000 And I don't want to politicize the show at all. I'm trying to give you objectively, uh, some
00:04:06.800 measures that I think will improve your capacity, uh, will improve your ability to lead your family,
00:04:12.780 your business, your community members, everybody that you're in charge of, or have a responsibility
00:04:16.560 for. Well, so again, what I'm going to share with you today, it doesn't matter if red wins.
00:04:21.080 Great. If when blue wins, it doesn't matter. This is all going to apply to your situation.
00:04:26.160 Now, some of these things are intuitive, probably already know I'm going to go into depth on those.
00:04:29.600 And some of them are counterintuitive. And maybe you might question why I would even be
00:04:34.400 bringing this up. Hopefully I can do a good enough job explaining it. So let's get into it.
00:04:38.180 Number one, and this is very broad. I almost feel like cheating when I say this, but number one is
00:04:42.560 you've just got to take ultimate responsibility, uh, for your life and your scenario and your
00:04:48.240 circumstances. Obviously Jocko Willink has been on the podcast three or four times. Now at this point
00:04:52.980 has talked about extreme ownership. His first book with Leif Babin, uh, it's extreme ownership.
00:04:58.020 It's crucial guys. It's crucial. And there's going to be a lot of people who blame their
00:05:01.700 circumstances on parties and politics and who won the presidency and what the economy is doing
00:05:07.520 and what COVID is doing. And certainly let's not beat around the bush. Some of this stuff is
00:05:12.020 absolutely a factor, right? It's a factor, uh, because it impacts your daily life and it will
00:05:17.880 continue to impact your daily life. It'll impact your, your taxes. It will impact, uh, legislation.
00:05:23.300 It will impact the culture and climate of, of this country. So it's going to impact it. But ultimately
00:05:28.540 I just want you to take responsibility for your life, right? If you are where you are right now,
00:05:34.420 it's because of you. It's not because your wife, it's not because politics, it's not because of the
00:05:39.220 economy. It's not because of COVID. It's not because of this or not because of that. It's because of
00:05:43.180 you. Now, granted, there might be some scenarios and situations that come up on a daily basis and
00:05:49.920 randomly that will play a part, but generally speaking over long and sustained periods of time,
00:05:54.620 you are exactly where you deserve to be. And if you want to be in a better situation, financially,
00:06:00.380 spiritually, emotionally, relationally with your, your fitness, then it's up to you to take
00:06:06.480 responsibility for that. So what I would suggest is regardless of who wins the presidential nomination
00:06:11.160 and the Senate, which is actually pretty close. And it looks like the Democrats will maintain the
00:06:15.280 house, regardless of who wins, take ownership, take responsibility of your life and know that the
00:06:22.540 overwhelming course and direction of your life will be greatly impacted, not by who wins these
00:06:27.600 elections, but by how you perform and how you show up. So adopt and embrace that mindset. Many of you
00:06:34.240 have, and quite frankly, there's a lot of you listening who have not adopted that mindset and you want to
00:06:39.520 play that victim card. You love that card. That's like your, your ace in the hole, your Trump card,
00:06:44.380 no pun intended is man. If I can just lay down that victim card, somebody in will, will come in
00:06:49.740 and swoop down and rescue me and save me from the circumstances that I have created for myself.
00:06:56.020 I know it's hard. I know it's difficult. I know it takes a ding to the ego. When you have to admit
00:07:00.320 that maybe you're not as good as you think you are. I certainly have to do that quite frankly,
00:07:04.200 every single day and every single time I have to do it, it stinks, but this is the only path to
00:07:09.760 growth is accepting responsibility, owning that responsibility, and then making changes in your
00:07:15.820 life that will enhance and improve your ability to lead yourself and others. Well, so number one,
00:07:20.680 take ultimate responsibility. Number two guys at this point, and this is coming from the background
00:07:26.400 of financial planning that I have, but at this point, it's crucial that you get your financial
00:07:30.120 house in order. I talked about this probably a month or two ago, and the podcast was a Friday
00:07:36.400 field notes, just like this one. And it was titled brace for impact, brace for impact. And in that I
00:07:42.720 had made the suggestion that you ought to pay off debt. And I had a lot of people come back and say,
00:07:47.180 well, that's bad advice because if everything's going to go to hell in a handbasket, then why would
00:07:51.180 you ever pay off debt? Guys? I don't think we're going to see the demise or collapse of the United
00:07:55.520 States of America, at least not right now, regardless of who wins. I just don't. And this show
00:08:00.480 isn't about fear mongering. It isn't about sharing just some wild, controversial
00:08:06.420 ideas and, and, and things like that. It's just, that's not what this show is about,
00:08:14.800 right? This show is about dealing in reality and making yourself more capable. And I don't think
00:08:19.300 that we're going to see the demise of the U S again, at least not right now, this isn't about
00:08:25.560 conspiracy or anything like that or coverups, but I do see us being in a difficult spot
00:08:32.180 financially. And this has been building up over the last three, four or five decades.
00:08:36.840 And it's only going to get worse as we continue as a, as a country to increase our spending,
00:08:42.780 to, to put ourselves at the whims and mercy of other countries and to not become independent
00:08:50.780 as it comes to imports and exports, it's only going to get worse. And, and it will take a long
00:08:56.900 time, but here's what I would suggest to you is getting your financial house in order will always
00:09:01.640 serve you set money aside, get that debt out from underneath you sell off some assets, or I would,
00:09:08.540 I would say depreciating assets, get rid of those things, live within your means, save and invest
00:09:14.220 money, broadly diversified portfolios, obviously not all in the U S but broadly diversified. So you can
00:09:20.100 maximize your earning potential, but get that financial house in order, track everything that
00:09:25.140 you're spending, track every dollar that's coming in, learn to make more money so that you can have
00:09:30.620 a higher net worth, set that money aside, get out from under your debt, learn how to manage and deal
00:09:37.060 with taxes. If Biden wins the election, he's him and Kamala Harris has flat out said that they are going
00:09:43.760 to work to eliminate the tax breaks that Donald Trump has set into motion. That's going to impact
00:09:51.700 you. Now, I know a lot of people say, well, it's only going to impact the wealthy. I want you to be
00:09:55.660 wealthy. I want you to be one of those people. And why wouldn't you want to be one of those people?
00:10:00.180 And even if you're not, there's tax benefits to the tax cuts that have taken place over the past four
00:10:06.140 years. And if that's repealed, then it's not going to just impact the wealthy. It's going to impact
00:10:14.640 the middle-class, which is where I, and most of you happen to fall into. So yeah, I know it sounds
00:10:20.700 really good on the surface, but trust me, your taxes are going to go up. The dollar is going to
00:10:25.120 weaken. And if you don't have your financial house in order, then you're going to find yourself in a
00:10:29.800 very difficult situation. So brace for that, prepare for that and get your financial house in order.
00:10:35.020 All right. Number three, this one is counterintuitive. I know some of you guys are
00:10:39.340 going to be like, what in the heck is Ryan talking about? Here's what I'm telling you.
00:10:42.400 Build up your social media presence right now. All right. Build up your social media presence right
00:10:47.580 now. I know there's a lot of hubbub and talk about Facebook and Twitter and Instagram that they're
00:10:55.640 censoring posts. And, and, you know, I think some of that is happening. I think I've personally seen that.
00:11:00.660 I'm not going to, I'm not going to dwell on that. I'm not going to make myself the victim
00:11:04.900 because of it. I'm not going to drone on and on about it, but that is happening. But in spite of
00:11:10.160 that, we have this powerful, powerful opportunity to connect with and bandwidth and find other men
00:11:17.200 and women who we can rally together towards common objectives and common purposes, whether it's
00:11:23.480 something like order of man, what we're doing here or your political goals and aspirations.
00:11:28.460 But I'm telling you right now that there's probably going to come a point in time for a lot of you who are
00:11:33.060 high achieving where you're going to want to tap into a network of hundreds or thousands, tens of
00:11:40.760 thousands, even millions of individuals that you can call on for political aspirations, which I'll
00:11:47.720 talk about here in a minute, or for business ventures, or just getting a message and an idea
00:11:53.600 and a thought that you have in your mind out to the world where other people can rally behind that
00:11:59.360 thought and that idea and that message. And I think if we can use this powerful medium of social
00:12:04.300 media to be able to connect with like-minded people, we're going to be in a significantly better
00:12:09.320 spot than just sitting around and not utilizing this tool. Now, I remember one of my friends,
00:12:17.080 Matt Jenkins, he introduced me. He didn't introduce me to, he tried to convince me.
00:12:21.540 This was years and years ago, probably eight, nine, 10 years ago that I needed to be on Facebook.
00:12:26.560 And I was like, man, I have no idea why I would do that. Nobody cares about what I have to say.
00:12:32.520 This is stupid. I don't care what anybody else has to say. And yet here I am less than a decade later
00:12:38.420 using social media as a powerful tool and medium to advance our cause and our mission. So I'm glad for
00:12:47.400 social media. I appreciate and am grateful for what social media has afforded me. And I realized
00:12:53.180 it's a tool. It can be used for productive outcomes and it can be used for destruction,
00:12:57.740 but it's how you utilize it and how you use it. So I, frankly, guys, I know, again, this sounds
00:13:03.840 counterintuitive. And a lot of you guys are like, why do I need social media? Well, you know, the best
00:13:08.360 place, the best time to plant a tree is before you need the shade or the best time to dig a well
00:13:13.960 is before you need the water. We've all heard those adages. So it might be hard for you to wrap
00:13:18.600 your head around the idea of building social media profiles right now, but I'm telling you,
00:13:22.620 I've created so many powerful connections and networks through the medium of social media that
00:13:28.200 have afforded me so many opportunities that have opened so many doors that I just never would have
00:13:34.060 realized were available. Had I not worked on building up my social media profile and the influence
00:13:39.800 that comes with it. So guys build up those social media profiles. It's very, very important.
00:13:44.660 And I wish I could tell you why. I don't know why specifically for you. I just know that there's
00:13:49.640 a powerful opportunity to build networks here and you ought to utilize every tool at your disposal.
00:13:54.400 So that's number, that's number three. All right. Number four, guys, I've been talking about this for
00:14:01.140 six years. I'm not the pinnacle of this necessarily, but here's what I would suggest to you.
00:14:05.360 Get strong and get fit, get lean, lose fat, build muscle, develop strength, anything that you can do
00:14:14.340 to enhance your physical fitness, your wellness, your sleep, your recovery, your strength, your
00:14:19.460 conditioning, your metabolism, anything that you can do is going to spill over and impact other areas
00:14:25.320 in your life. A lot of guys believe that we make these decisions in a vacuum that if I just go to the
00:14:30.280 gym every day, then I'm going to get strong, but that doesn't necessarily impact other facets of my life.
00:14:34.440 And so what they do is they compartmentalize elements of their life. Here I am at the gym.
00:14:39.800 Here I am as a father. Here I am at work. Here I am in my church calling. Here I am with charity.
00:14:44.060 Here I am with my kids. Here I am with my wife. And we compartmentalize these things. It doesn't work
00:14:49.640 like that. All right. Yes. They may be compartmentalized based on when you spend the time there and how you
00:14:56.240 divvy up your time and attention and resources, but they're all intertwined. And when you develop
00:15:02.560 strength and fitness and lose weight and get in shape, it's going to affect you emotionally and
00:15:08.620 mentally and physically, it's going to affect, affect, not in fact, affect the way that you show
00:15:15.520 up as a father. And those of you who are dads are at some point will be, I mean, don't you want to be
00:15:21.740 the best father possible? You can't do that. If you're 50 pounds overweight, how can I say that?
00:15:26.980 Because I was there. I was quite literally 50 pounds overweight. And I was exhausted when I got
00:15:33.660 home. I had low attention. I had low recovery. My sex drive wasn't nearly what it is today. It just
00:15:41.160 wasn't a good place because I was 50 pounds overweight. You know, I hear from these guys,
00:15:47.100 you talk about sleep apnea and, and I had that sleep apnea and also restless leg syndrome. I don't
00:15:53.900 know if you guys know what this is, but quite literally I would wear holes in my sheets around
00:15:59.260 my knees and around my ankles. My wife would pull the sheets back and see holes thinning of the sheets
00:16:05.140 and holes in the sheets because my legs would just twitch and move all night long. And as I started to
00:16:11.080 lose weight, I actually took care of the sleep apnea. I don't sleep apnea. I don't have restless leg
00:16:15.840 syndrome anymore. That's because I don't have 50 pounds trying to smother me. Every time I go to
00:16:21.660 sleep and put my head on the pillow, it just doesn't happen. And this is a small example of what could
00:16:27.580 potentially happen for you. If you lose the 30 pounds or the 50 pounds or the 150 pounds, if you
00:16:33.640 learn how to sleep, if you learn how to recover, if you get strong and not to mention the confidence,
00:16:39.420 the boost of confidence that comes with that. And as the boost of confidence comes with that,
00:16:43.680 then you open up new doors and new opportunities that just weren't present to you before.
00:16:48.820 Now, again, how does this tie into dealing with after election scenarios? Guys, this is a volatile
00:16:53.380 time. This is a volatile time. I mean, people are confused. Others are scared. Many people are going
00:17:00.240 to be angry and frustrated and you need to be able to rise above it. But if you're not at your peak
00:17:05.340 performance physically, mentally, and emotionally, then how in the world and financially, like I talked
00:17:09.800 about earlier, how in the world are you going to rise above this? You're absolutely not going to
00:17:14.080 rise above it. You're going to fall into it. And you're going to make yourself a sheep, just like
00:17:18.260 the majority of other people. And you're going to look to somebody else and hope that Biden or Trump
00:17:22.200 or whoever it is has some way to rescue you because you're incapable of rescuing yourself.
00:17:27.360 So how do you deal with the after election scenarios and results, regardless of what they are?
00:17:32.200 This is how getting yourself strong and fit is a critical component of that. All right. Number five,
00:17:39.220 you've got to develop self-sufficiency skills, self-sufficiency skills. Now, again, I'm not here
00:17:44.680 to fear monger. I'm not here to tell you that the world is going to end. I'm not here to tell you that
00:17:48.900 this is some catastrophic thing, regardless of what happens. It's all, it's all going to be okay
00:17:54.020 because there's men and women who are going to make sure that it is. But I will say that the more
00:18:00.780 self-sufficient that you can become, the more sovereign that you are. If you haven't read my
00:18:05.700 book sovereignty, which I released two and a half years ago. Now that's wild to think about it. It's
00:18:11.560 been that long. Then go pick up a copy of sovereignty because I talk about these issues,
00:18:16.640 that it's important that you don't give power and credibility and authority over to other individuals
00:18:21.540 or organizations or political affiliations, and that you take and maintain that responsibility for
00:18:27.280 yourself. And that means that you need to have food storage. That means you need to know how to
00:18:31.800 hunt. You need to know how to grow food. You need to develop other skills, whether it's mechanical
00:18:38.380 skills or skills around the house, things that you can do on your own. So you're not at the mercy of
00:18:45.000 other people. Not that we can't accept a hand up, but we're not going to accept a hand out. Not that we
00:18:52.460 can't embrace somebody who wants to band with us and help us along the journey. We should,
00:18:57.520 we should have the level of humility to realize that other people might know more than us,
00:19:02.680 or they might have a skillset that we aren't familiar with that we can utilize.
00:19:06.500 That's not what I'm suggesting, but I am suggesting that you learn how to do this stuff on your own.
00:19:11.900 And there's people out there. There's people in your communities. There are people in your circles.
00:19:16.360 There's courses and there's programs that are teaching you. My wife, every Wednesday night,
00:19:21.900 cause I train Wednesday evenings for jujitsu. So every Wednesday night, she does her own thing,
00:19:27.000 just like I do my own thing. And she usually does a masterclass. And the last one that she took was,
00:19:33.200 she's done a couple. She did one on gardening. And then she did one on cooking meat specifically
00:19:40.220 and how to smoke meat. Okay. These are all skills that she should be learning to develop. And so should
00:19:46.760 I, you know, she's beekeeping, she's gardening, she's learning how to can, she's learning how to
00:19:52.040 preserve. She's learning how to cook. I'm learning my own things. I'm going to talk about some of that
00:19:55.960 in a minute. And it's, we're all better off for it because we're more self-sufficient and we aren't
00:20:01.080 reliant upon the whims and the mercy of the, the, the things that are going on around us.
00:20:06.460 All right. Number six. And I know this is going to rub a lot of people the wrong way.
00:20:10.320 So take it for what it's worth. My suggestion is that you consider moving away from big cities
00:20:16.320 that you move out of these large cities. I honestly believe, you know, you, you look,
00:20:22.180 I think these large cities are lost. They are, they're lost. And there's so many people and
00:20:28.280 they're crammed into, into a very small area and they don't have room to spread out and they don't
00:20:34.160 have room to think about new ideas. And look, I get it. You know, if you, if you like the hustle and
00:20:39.500 the bustle and you want to be in the mix of things, I get it. I completely understand.
00:20:45.120 And maybe it's just personal preference, but there's a lot of you who don't want to be in a
00:20:49.660 big city who feel like you're obligated to be there. You feel like this is where it's happening.
00:20:54.680 This is where it is. This is what I have to do. And so you've been programmed and conditioned
00:20:58.440 to live in these concrete jungles. And quite honestly, and frankly, I think it's sucking your soul
00:21:04.180 away from you. That might not be for everybody. Some of you really thrive. My, one of my sons,
00:21:09.020 my second son, he loves the city. Like he just comes alive and you see him light up and you see
00:21:14.780 the enthusiasm and excitement. So I'm not telling you that everybody needs to move away from the city,
00:21:19.340 but I am suggesting to you that if you feel like you're being just drowned in this sea of degeneracy
00:21:26.800 and this concrete jungle, that you find a way to move at least into the suburbs, if not even further
00:21:34.800 away and get more rural. I've noticed in my own personal life that there's a peace and a harmony
00:21:41.920 that comes with being out and being able to spread out and have some land and knowing your neighbors,
00:21:47.920 but they're not right on top of you. They're, you know, down the road. It's just better, small towns,
00:21:54.900 peaceful. People seem to really, really care about each other. Yeah. When you get into small town,
00:22:00.500 everybody knows each other's business, but you know, that can be seen as a negative, but it also
00:22:04.160 can be seen as a positive because people actually care about each other. And we know each other
00:22:08.280 because there aren't 3 million people. There's like 3000 people. And, and, and I would just tell
00:22:14.700 you that we live in an environment, in a culture right now, where you can create tremendous
00:22:18.700 opportunities, regardless of where you are geographically. That's actually one of the silver
00:22:24.360 line linings of this COVID thing is more and more people are realizing, holy cow, I actually don't
00:22:30.400 need to go into the city. I actually don't need to be present for that meeting. I don't need to be
00:22:36.400 at the center of, of the industrial universe that maybe just, maybe I can actually be more effective
00:22:45.640 outside of it where I'm free of distractions, where I'm focused on the things that are important,
00:22:51.620 where I'm focused on less, but I go deeper on the things that I am focused on because there's
00:22:56.140 tremendous opportunity. I know that there's hundreds of thousands of you who are listening,
00:23:00.640 who feel like you're obligated to stay in these concrete jungles and these large cities.
00:23:05.340 And you're not, it's sucking the soul out of you. Some of you are meant for the city and that's
00:23:09.620 great. And I say, make the most of it, utilize the other strategies I'm teaching you today.
00:23:13.520 And there's a large percentage of you who are having your soul sucked out and you're going to be
00:23:18.260 laying on your deathbed and you're going to be regretting all the things that you could have done
00:23:21.720 because you felt obligated or compelled to stay in an environment that wasn't serving you and your
00:23:26.520 family well. So at least have a consideration that maybe you ought to move out of the city
00:23:31.540 and get into the suburbs or even further, get out into the ranches and the farms and the rural
00:23:35.920 communities and get your life back on track. All right. Number seven, I think I'm on number seven.
00:23:41.840 Let me just look at this real quick. Yeah. Number seven, run for office, run for office. Now I know this
00:23:48.320 is hypocritical for me to say, because I have not yet run for office, but I imagine at some point
00:23:52.020 very soon that I will begin to start running for office because I have an obligation. I have a
00:23:57.740 responsibility within the walls of my family and my home within my business. Of course you guys
00:24:02.560 listening, but also within my community. And that goes well beyond just my immediate neighbors. It goes
00:24:07.540 into my community as a whole and guys, we can affect real change. I mean, I'm so sick of seeing these
00:24:13.000 politicians who spend three, four, five decades in office. They haven't added any other value
00:24:19.560 in their lives to anybody else. They're, they're, they're manipulating the system. They're raking us
00:24:26.120 over the coals. They're taking advantage of the people who pay their salaries. And I'm sick of it.
00:24:32.200 I'm sick of it. I want honest, hardworking, intelligent, charitable, humble men. Now I know,
00:24:41.140 as I say that you're going to say, well, these candidates don't epitomize that. Exactly. That's
00:24:45.560 what I'm saying. But there's many of you. And I, for the most part, place myself into that camp
00:24:51.680 who do epitomize some of those valuable virtues that we hear at the order of man espouse.
00:24:57.820 And if that's you, I want you to run for office. I will support you. I will promote you. I will help
00:25:03.740 you because we need more fine men running for office, leading their communities, leading their school
00:25:10.100 boards, leading their States, and frankly, leading this country. And I'm going to be throwing my hat
00:25:14.360 in the ring very soon. And I hope that you guys will consider doing that as well, because we can
00:25:18.780 affect change. If we're willing to get involved, if we maintain, you know, this, this, this distance,
00:25:24.680 this comfortable, complacent distance and say, I don't want to do that. And that's not for me.
00:25:29.740 I mean, I understand. I do. I mean, who wants to subject themselves to the mercy of what's been
00:25:34.140 happening over the past several years? It's not just the past several years, just politics in general.
00:25:38.460 Who, what, what hardworking, successful man wants to subject themselves to that,
00:25:43.440 but consider it, consider that maybe you're the man who can actually make a difference and move
00:25:48.440 the needle in the right direction. All right. Number eight, this is something that we did
00:25:53.640 two years ago. So this is our second year is I would, I would very seriously consider homeschooling
00:26:00.660 your kids. This goes back to the city thing. I think the soul has been ripped out of cities.
00:26:06.380 Uh, I, I think there's a lot of corruption. I think there's a lot of, uh, misinformation. I think
00:26:12.540 there's a lot of misleading and, and, and not guiding our children down the path that many of
00:26:19.020 you want your children to walk. You know, you want your kids to be godly. You want your kids to respect
00:26:24.920 other people. You want people to understand or your children rather to understand the value of this
00:26:30.520 great nation. Uh, you, you believe that this nation was founded on hope and optimism. And although
00:26:36.260 we haven't always lived up to our ideals that we've paved the way for literally millions and
00:26:43.240 millions of people who would not have otherwise had the type of freedom and liberty and injustice
00:26:50.380 that many of us enjoy. And the United States of America created that. I don't want my kids to hate
00:26:56.960 the country in which they live. I don't want them to have a distorted or warped or nasty perception
00:27:01.580 of how this country was founded. I want them to have an honest assessment and accurate representation
00:27:09.040 of the men and women who sacrificed all that they had to ensure that, that we were able to,
00:27:18.200 at some point live up to the ideals that they had declared nearly 250 years ago.
00:27:26.820 Those are the things I want them to learn. I want them to learn to respect the country. I want them
00:27:31.340 to learn to respect God. I want them to learn to respect me. And I don't believe that a school teacher
00:27:36.620 can do it better than I can. Now, inevitably, when I say this, some people will say, well, they're trained.
00:27:41.620 Well, that doesn't mean anything. What are they trained in? They're trained in getting their
00:27:47.620 children, getting children to recite things, to memorize things, to be good cogs in the wheel.
00:27:52.240 And by the way, if you're a school teacher, who's listening, I'm not dissing on you. I'm really not.
00:27:57.600 In fact, if you're an honorable, hardworking, caring school teacher, man, or woman, I honor you. I commend
00:28:04.280 you for the work that you're doing. You're in an environment that I can't imagine how difficult it
00:28:09.020 must be because you want to do good and you want to do right by these children and you want them to
00:28:13.560 thrive and succeed. And so many of these young boys and girls are being raised without
00:28:17.560 fathers and mothers, and you might actually be the only one in their life. And if that's you,
00:28:23.260 then you need to fight the nastiness and the bureaucracy and the ridiculous that's going,
00:28:28.240 going on in the school systems. You need to stand up. You need to stand for truth and what's right.
00:28:34.560 You need to teach kids how to be strong and tough and resilient. And you shouldn't be doing that for
00:28:41.700 everybody. If you're a parent and you have the capacity to do it, whether it's you or your wife,
00:28:47.000 I think one of you ought to stay home. I really do. I think now, fortunately we've been in a
00:28:52.400 situation where my wife, since we started having children 12 years ago, she has been a homemaker
00:28:59.360 for the past 12 years. We're very fortunate in that, but we aren't lucky. It isn't just like some
00:29:05.660 convenience that we enjoy. No, I worked my tail off to ensure that was the case. I mean, we ate beans
00:29:13.740 and rice for years because making the mortgage payment was difficult. Or, you know, we had the
00:29:22.020 clunker beater up vehicles because we couldn't afford anything nicer. We never went out because we
00:29:28.540 frankly couldn't afford it. When I had to go on a trip, we questioned whether or not I should go
00:29:32.980 because I didn't have the money to pay for fuel. I made sacrifices. My wife made sacrifices to make
00:29:38.340 this a reality. And our life is better because we're teaching our children the things that they
00:29:43.120 should learn, not the things that they're mandated to. And they're not being programmed and they're not
00:29:48.300 being brainwashed by something I don't agree with. Now, inevitably, when I say that people will say,
00:29:53.540 well, aren't you brainwashing them? Yeah, I guess technically you could say that's the case, but guess
00:29:58.160 what? That's my responsibility. And that's my obligation as the father. I'm supposed to teach them,
00:30:03.640 teach them, teach them right, teach them right from wrong, teach them truth, teach them the way
00:30:09.300 the world works. That is actually my authority. That is my responsibility. So although you might
00:30:17.620 say I'm programming my children, right, that's exactly what I'm doing. And that's my job as a
00:30:23.940 father. And for you women who are listening, that is your job as your children's mother. So get after
00:30:30.920 it and stop outsourcing every possible experience and learning opportunity to somebody you don't even
00:30:37.760 know. And instead take that upon your own shoulders and, and witness the, the power of teaching your
00:30:46.480 own children, how this world works. You can do it. You can do it. You're fully qualified. You can do it.
00:30:52.580 Make it happen. And if you're a school teacher, you stand up against this stuff and you start doing
00:30:57.940 what you know is right. All right. Where are we at here? I think we're on number nine,
00:31:03.140 build up reserves, number nine, build up reserves. Okay. So I'm talking about cash. I'm talking about
00:31:09.380 food. I'm talking about provisions, talking about firearms and ammunition. Again, a lot of you're
00:31:16.000 going to say, Oh, Ryan, this is alarmist stuff. No, it's not. It's just being prepared. All right.
00:31:21.480 And if you never happen to have to dip into your food storage, excuse me, congratulations. That's a
00:31:26.720 good thing. If you never have to use your firearm to defend yourself, congratulations. I hope that's
00:31:32.560 the case. I, I pray every night that I don't ever have to use my firearm in defense for somebody
00:31:39.420 breaking in or a violent encounter. I pray every day that I don't have to do that, but you can be
00:31:45.320 damn certain that I'm going to be prepared to do it. Should that situation arise. And I think we would
00:31:50.720 all of us men be better off if we learn to build up the reserves that we may need. We might not need
00:31:57.100 it, but we may need this is insurance. Okay. So build up your cash reserves, start putting money
00:32:02.860 in that safe, uh, build up the food storage, build up the firearms, build up the ammunition, buy it when
00:32:08.120 it's there and available, uh, buy, buy non-perishable foods, set those aside in your cellar or your,
00:32:14.780 or your attic or whatever. Uh, and, and build your, build your resources. We talk about, uh,
00:32:22.160 uh, uh, producing, sorry, I lost my trade of thought there. We, we talk about producing like
00:32:28.300 produce, you're capable of producing and providing for more than just yourself and your, and even your
00:32:33.920 immediate family, like start producing. And that means stockpiling and putting things away for a rainy
00:32:38.820 day, cash, provisions, provisions, food, the things that you might need. And if you don't need them,
00:32:44.280 okay, good. It still wasn't wasted effort. It was a valuable exercise in, uh, restraint
00:32:53.960 because you're not spending every dollar that you have. And it's a valuable exercise in organization
00:32:59.980 and overabundance, not overabundance, just abundance so that you can take care of yourself
00:33:05.340 when things are scarce. And whether that happens in the next 12 months or the next 12 years, at some
00:33:10.120 point, things will be scarce. Something will happen within the country. You'll be laid off.
00:33:14.880 The economy will tank. Something will happen. And I want you to be ready for that day. Again,
00:33:19.320 whether it's in the next 12 days, 12 months, or 12 years. All right. And the last one here, guys,
00:33:24.460 this is, uh, this is very broad again, but leading your family, your neighbors and your communities.
00:33:31.080 Well, right. People are relying upon you. Everybody's scared. They're nervous. They're
00:33:35.320 anxious. They're angry. They're upset. Uh, there's a lot of contention and animosity and bitterness
00:33:40.220 going on. And if you incorporate these nine previous principles that I shared with you,
00:33:45.700 then you are going to be able to lead your family. Well, because you're not so highly focused on
00:33:50.120 yourself. You're not so wrapped up in barely getting by, but you're thriving and you're excelling
00:33:55.600 and you're learning new skills and you have your provisions and you, and you're building confidence
00:34:00.480 because you're getting strong. Well, now you can lead others with clarity and focus and, and,
00:34:05.600 and leave the emotions at the door and not get everybody, get everybody riled up and lead them.
00:34:10.540 People are looking to you, your children, my, my kids, my four kids. I see them. I watch them.
00:34:16.440 They look at me. They watch me. I see them watching me for how I will react and how I will respond to
00:34:23.640 situations. And if I'm wild and crazy and immature and out of control, then guess what? That's what
00:34:28.860 they're learning to do. If I'm not leading my wife with clarity and focus and dignity and respect and
00:34:36.220 honor and steadfastness. She's, she's not going to be as stable as if I was leading with those virtues.
00:34:46.720 If I'm letting certain situations that are beyond my control to get the better of me. And I'm,
00:34:53.560 and I'm communicating that through my words and thoughts and actions to my teammates or my employees,
00:34:58.580 they're not going to produce. They're going to be scatterbrained and they're going to be in a worse
00:35:04.020 situation. As a man, it's our job to lead. That's why we talk about preside. In fact, it's on my hat
00:35:11.020 somewhere. I think it's one of those. I can't see. I think it's backwards, but it's right here.
00:35:14.820 Protect, provide, preside. Preside is synonymous with leadership. Lead well, make yourself capable of
00:35:20.040 leading well. The eight point, or excuse me, the nine points that I brought up before will actually help
00:35:24.340 you lead your family, your neighbors, and your community. Well, it's important. And it's your
00:35:29.000 job. It's your job. Whether you signed up for it or not, you're a man, or at least you should be,
00:35:37.100 or at least you should be working to become one. And if that's the case, then it's your job to lead.
00:35:41.880 When shit hits the fan, violent encounter, natural disasters, emotional outbursts and responses,
00:35:47.580 or just confusion and pandemonium about what needs to happen. People look to a leader. It could be you
00:35:53.340 and it could not be you make yourself capable of it being you and them looking to you as a beacon and
00:36:00.400 a pillar of strength and stability and leadership. That's your job. That's your calling. All right,
00:36:05.300 guys, let me recap this and then we'll call it, call it a day and we'll see. We'll see if I'm right
00:36:09.760 about my, my, my predictions, but regardless, it doesn't matter. This is dealing with after election
00:36:14.760 scenarios, regardless of what happens. So number one is take ultimate responsibility. Number two,
00:36:19.800 get your financial house in order. Number three, build up your social media presence. I know that
00:36:25.240 one is counterintuitive, but it's important. Number four, get strong and fit. Number five,
00:36:30.400 develop self-sufficiency skills. Number six, move away from large cities. If you feel so inclined,
00:36:37.040 then get out of the city, get into rural areas, and you're going to be more fulfilled and you might
00:36:42.060 actually be safer. Number seven, run for office. Number eight, consider homeschooling your children.
00:36:48.240 If you're in the position to do that, if you're not work towards it. And then number nine is build
00:36:54.540 up your reserves. I'm talking about cash, food, ammunition, other provisions. And then number 10
00:37:01.240 is lead your family, your neighbors, and your community. Well, guys, this is like the, the,
00:37:06.440 the, the perfect encapsulation of what we do here at order of man. This is what it's all about.
00:37:12.620 And I want you to thrive. And I want you to succeed because I want that for you. But I also
00:37:16.580 want it for the people who are looking to you, your children, your wife, your kids, your neighbors,
00:37:19.880 your coworkers, your colleagues, they're looking to you. And if they're not looking to you, they
00:37:24.180 should be looking to you. And you can make it. So by incorporating these 10 lessons for dealing with
00:37:29.380 after election scenarios, I hope that helps guys. Let's stay in touch. Let's continue the
00:37:33.620 conversations on the interwebs, on the socials, on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, all at Ryan

00:38:07.800 very practical and pragmatic information and tips to help you thrive regardless of what the scenario
00:38:13.320 unfolds to be over the next week and a half or so, but we'll know we'll have a pretty good idea of
00:38:19.500 where we're going from there. All right, guys, it's all I've got. I'll be back next week for another
00:38:24.300 good interview. And let's continue to get after it. Lead well, make these things a critical component
