Pearl - Brett Cooper And A Drag Queen Walk Into A Bar...

00:00:00.000 Sometimes I think we might amplify them and fall prey to them, but they make money on

00:00:03.980 dividing us.

00:00:04.780 And so I think you make money off of division.

00:00:06.900 I hate it.

00:00:07.360 You know what I hate? 0.69

00:00:07.940 I hate being disingenuous, right?

00:00:09.380 I hate it when commentators pretend they're not benefiting off of the division.

00:00:13.400 What's up, guys?

00:00:14.300 Welcome to my reaction series.

00:00:16.140 So Brett Cooper, a married mother, you know, last week she did something based, which is 1.00

00:00:22.520 talk about how women are terrible.

00:00:24.060 You know, even though she never admits that she's terrible, I'm terrible, she's terrible, 0.99

00:00:28.120 we're all terrible, right? 0.98

00:00:28.940 um then she goes on to do a woman thing now just imagine being like a married mother you're like 1.00

00:00:35.300 mom why aren't you at home and you just look online and your mother's sitting down with a 1.00

00:00:39.560 drag queen now here's the thing this is a woman again she's not going to put her career down for 0.99

00:00:43.380 her kids marketed herself as different but exactly the same which is fine we're all the same and now 1.00

00:00:49.200 she's doing this like sit down with this drag queen and i'm like why is a married mother

00:00:52.900 sitting down with the drag queen um i actually don't know what uh they're going to talk about 1.00

00:00:57.880 but let's let's react and see what they say a right-wing youtuber and a leftist drag queen

00:01:03.640 let's get that bunny yeah okay there we go in a skirt guys cooper and patagonia have a history

00:01:10.680 that has divided them i feel like you see in the woods is going to be the sky his name is

00:01:14.120 patagonia they're on two opposite sides of the political spectrum this jesus person who was 0.68

00:01:19.080 definitely queer it was definitely a person of color but today they're so again women don't 0.57

00:01:24.600 really believe anything because again um you're not going to get conviction and disgust in her 1.00

00:01:29.640 voice because she doesn't really care she's like making money off of the conservative simps and 1.00

00:01:35.080 going home to her family um and then still making friends with the drag queen

00:01:40.120 gus one specific important topic the environment excellent i give lots of

00:01:45.000 tell me we identify as a beach or a mountain what about swamp i just literally oh he's a bit of a

00:01:51.480 lizard but i do appreciate oh that's his company babe all right well okay maybe something a little

00:01:56.280 less controversial will they become more united by nature that's the question we will seek and

00:02:02.200 never answer on the fire pit if you feel that inside get outside every day people say to me

00:02:11.640 the earth is in danger the environment is in peril you may even think there's no hope left for

00:02:16.280 humanity it's easy to dwell in despair but i decided to do something about it i've assembled

00:02:22.840 a team of experts who can help solve once and for all each and every one of these issues and i think

00:02:27.960 today we'll crack the formula here at the fire pit let me introduce you to patty gonia salt of the

00:02:36.920 earth midwestern individual and brett cooper hollywood actress and woke social media influencer 0.91

00:02:46.360 now they are no doubt formidable enemies but they're gonna have to put their differences 1.00

00:02:51.800 aside today to fix the planet now ladies did i um mischaracterize you in any way whatsoever would

00:02:58.520 you like to introduce yourselves in your own way sure go for it patagonia i'm happy to be here i'm

00:03:05.080 so happy to be here i'm happy to be here with you there goes nothing i know you know i really do feel

00:03:09.560 like uh nature is worth talking about so i'm excited to talk about it you know do you think

00:03:16.200 that we might find that we have more in common than we think i already think we do and i'm very

00:03:21.640 excited about it okay so brett are you a woke social media influencer no i get it she said

00:03:27.640 she has more in common with a drag queen i you know if i if i sit down with this broad i want

00:03:33.960 want to say i have nothing in common with you i don't want to meet in the middle on anything

00:03:39.100 unfortunately i'm not i would make a lot more money i think if i was oh really yeah but no

00:03:44.400 that's the most disingenuous thing you're worth millions of dollars uh again if you were like me 0.99

00:03:50.600 right and you shit on women then you'd be broke well you still pander so just i like to be accurate 0.99

00:03:57.000 right here. I'm not but I was a child actor so you got part of 1.00

00:04:01.040 that. Okay, cool right, but now she was born, right. Yes,

00:04:05.200 Washington more in Tennessee raised sort of Los Angeles

00:04:08.840 raised as well. But yeah, excellent at he gone. Yeah,

00:04:12.580 tell us about yourself.

00:04:14.380 Oh my gosh, what to say. 1.00

00:04:16.880 I am a drag queen. I'm an environmentalist to things kind 0.97

00:04:22.800 of new to different people. I think the environmental

00:04:25.960 crowd is new to drag. I think that

00:04:30.700 the drag crowd is really new to the environment and I love 0.99

00:04:33.500 an unlikely duo. I think that's what we need. I think 0.90

00:04:35.940 the world needs Brett Cooper and patagonia and I love

00:04:38.980 getting to use who I am and what I'm good at to fight for

00:04:41.780 what I believe in in this world. It is amazing to stand

00:04:45.620 up for what you believe in. I think a lot of people in a lot

00:04:47.940 of forces in this world want us to

00:04:51.680 not say what we believe the thing that I care about most

00:04:54.380 that I think about every single day before I sit down in front of a camera is like, can I empower

00:04:58.420 people to say what they believe, even if it's something that I disagree with and give you

00:05:02.860 courage to be bold in your convictions and live a life that is meaningful and creates value in

00:05:08.100 whatever your value system is. We've all been divided by forces that we're not are creating.

00:05:15.200 Sometimes I think we might amplify them and fall prey to them, but they make money on dividing us.

00:05:21.380 and so i think you make money off a division i hate it you know what i hate i hate being

00:05:25.300 disingenuous right i hate it when commentators pretend they're not benefiting off of the division 0.51

00:05:32.340 you benefit off a conflict we all know on here i'm gonna have to debate again because it just

00:05:37.220 makes so much more money i hate debate i hate it um but yeah you know everyone profits from

00:05:45.140 in media profits from conflict we are crashing that system else are you sitting down with a drag 0.87

00:05:49.700 queen you know what i mean by sitting down today and doing this i'm excited you correct me if i'm 1.00

00:05:54.420 wrong you're both slightly different politically on the spectrum right okay we'll see we'll find

00:06:01.060 out right we'll see what i want to know is it more important to ask the question liberal versus

00:06:06.420 conservative or working class versus billionaire women or men i think that's the most important 0.87

00:06:13.700 question because liberal and conservative are like the same on three one two three working class

00:06:21.300 versus billionaire okay and why is that why is that what what do you have against billionaires

00:06:26.660 they've given us so much i think it's less about like billionaires and more about an elite class

00:06:32.420 that involves some billionaires but does in large part involve our government um i just can't believe

00:06:38.740 we're thinking that the 20 something year old knows anything about government

00:06:46.580 and the ruling class i would say and the fact that they're so caught up in their agendas and

00:06:50.660 their division in the way that they profit off of our outrage working against our interests

00:06:56.420 and leaving the working class uh completely feeling alienated and disappearing in a lot

00:07:01.460 of ways i mean we're watching the middle class just completely dissipate and so i think that's 0.66

00:07:05.940 as a women not billionaires billionaires adjust because they want to make money but women did

00:07:11.780 that because um women don't want to get with average men and she's one of the women that 0.90

00:07:16.980 does not get with an average man so you know and i'm it just is what it is and also we pay 0.99

00:07:23.460 the price of anything no matter how expensive it gets allowing everybody to increase the price of

00:07:27.940 everything i also think politics is so fluid in a lot of ways like there are some things i'm like

00:07:34.500 oh yeah i'm very conservative on this and then there's other issues where i'm like i really

00:07:37.460 don't care and my side really yeah conservative one it benefits her because she's a woman right

00:07:41.780 that's how we say there's no real conservative women pisses me off brett cooper says politics 0.70

00:07:46.100 are fluid and i say hell yeah queer agenda um yeah uh oh god billionaires i just you love them 0.83

00:07:57.780 no oh i think if i had a dream world i would make far less billionaires in america to make 0.71

00:08:09.280 room for more of us to be millionaires like that's what i want i want everyone to be successful

00:08:15.240 yeah you can't make lazy people be successful not to say i i think um if anything we just 1.00

00:08:21.100 got to stop giving women these stupid jobs that make no money hypocritical i benefit from a stupid 0.99

00:08:26.360 job because i'm here talking for a living right but you know i can be honest about it um like honestly 1.00

00:08:35.880 i'm anti-influencer even though i am one i think we got to take away money from media

00:08:40.760 and give it to the working class i just want for it to be an even ball game and as long as

00:08:47.560 money is in politics and billionaires can fund politics apac can fund politics israel can fund

00:08:53.880 politics i think that's where my billionaire alarm goes off do you think billionaires are weird yeah

00:09:00.280 do i feel like most of them are like snake people yeah uh but i do think that

00:09:07.080 there's just an intersection of politics and billionaire funding that is so wrong

00:09:12.760 and produces such the wrong outcome for the majority of americans and it's just incredible 0.99

00:09:18.360 that this got almost a million views why do we care what a woman in a drag like the problem is

00:09:25.240 actually summarized in this video that people care what a woman and a drag queen have to say 0.77

00:09:29.080 about billionaires neither of these are credible people you know what i mean it's a woman doesn't

00:09:34.920 know anything a drag queen who's obviously mentally unstable because i don't know why a sane person 0.56

00:09:40.200 would do that all i want is the best possible future for the most number of people that's my

00:09:46.440 dream america yeah i would love to know a little bit more about you brett about your relationship

00:09:51.320 to environmentalism and even the word climate change yeah so it came from my dad's love of the

00:09:58.840 outdoors my brothers are all eagle scouts he was the scout leader as was my mom uh they raised my

00:10:06.280 brothers and then i was born on an island in the san juans which is just i think in my opinion the

00:10:11.480 in the most beautiful part of the country as a kid inspired

00:10:14.980 by my mom I always wanted to have a farm and we bounced

00:10:17.880 around and never really got to have one or do that that was

00:10:20.360 like always my mom's pipe dream when she was a kid actually

00:10:22.760 when I was 17 or 18. She moved to Idaho and started a homestead 0.84

00:10:28.260 at 60 years old and learned it all herself and built it

00:10:31.600 herself to be there alongside her. And then when I got married

00:10:37.940 my husband and I randomly we were wanting to buy land and we because our dream has always

00:10:44.420 been to raise our children in wide open spaces and give her a dream he just went along with

00:10:49.440 them fresh air and be able to get immune thanks to the dirt um and we found this amazing farm

00:10:57.280 outside of Nashville and we bought it and we moved in and so now we are raising cows

00:11:02.420 and poultry we have mules and pigs and we're doing the whole thing and I've become increasingly

00:11:07.880 more grateful for this land and protecting it, especially through agriculture and trying to

00:11:14.440 advocate for more regenerative and sustainable modes of agriculture. I think that that's a great

00:11:20.080 way of protecting and enriching and actually using this amazing land that we live on. How do you feel

00:11:25.160 like you being a mother has changed your politics when it comes to nature or just change your

00:11:34.620 politics in general. I'm really curious to hear about how you as a mom, how that might have

00:11:39.900 changed things for you, how it stayed the same, also how you're able to reach people that maybe

00:11:44.960 I wouldn't be able to reach. The thing that I keep thinking about and that is most prevalent

00:11:49.620 is that it's not that I care less about what people think since becoming a mother,

00:11:55.420 because I do. That's something that I work on every single day. I'm definitely a people pleaser.

00:11:59.620 I have myself muted on all social media sites. I don't want to know what people are saying. I

00:12:03.200 to hear any discourse but i am more comfortable pushing through that for my son's benefit so i

00:12:10.400 think i give less of an f now not sure if i can swear um yeah you can see that in her behavior 0.97

00:12:16.480 because when women get a kid they they get leverage and they get worse as people so um you 1.00

00:12:22.240 know giving the eyes to clavicular but you know it is what it is um it's like the bait and switch 1.00

00:12:27.600 you got to be yourself after the ring and the kid you can swear excellent i give less of a 0.97

00:12:32.880 fuck um and that doesn't mean that i am any less impacted by criticism or people pushing back but 0.97

00:12:41.280 i'm emboldened in what i'm saying in a way that i don't think i was before and i also think that 0.99

00:12:47.680 it has forced me and also just things over the past year just watching politics and culture

00:12:53.520 unfold and change i think we're in a very very uh dramatic and changing landscape in terms of

00:12:59.440 politics but also media and who is relevant and who the powerful voices are and i think that

00:13:03.200 there's a lot of people waking up to what we're talking about of this morally rolling class and

00:13:08.640 the normal americans and who's actually benefiting here and i think that transition for me has

00:13:15.920 forced me to look at the world in a little less of a black and white way patty where did your love

00:13:21.200 nature uh develop when did that happen i am from the midwest and i love being from the midwest

00:13:29.280 and there is so much nature in the midwest and it gets so written off people fly over they drive

00:13:34.560 across it but the midwest is so beautiful the amount of trees forests prairie grassland prairie

00:13:40.480 is this unbelievable ecosystem and my love of nature came from me being a little queer kid

00:13:45.840 hanging out my backyard you know performing musicals jumping off of swing sets

00:13:50.720 choreographing numbers for audiences of no one and for me as a queer kid that was my first safe

00:13:56.720 space nature was my first safe space and now as i went to middle school went to high school

00:14:03.040 encountered homophobia in the outdoors via sports via my own internalized homophobia thinking that

00:14:10.320 i was going to hell or i was not natural i was separate from nature and so for me nature has

00:14:19.280 been a really healing process as my journey with patties unfolded because i've gotten to see that

00:14:26.320 my queerness is nothing but natural there's queerness in every ecosystem on every continent

00:14:33.040 of planet earth i feel really grateful for nature i think that you know there are times where i the

00:14:38.640 times i felt the most disconnected from nature i felt the most disconnected from myself and

00:14:43.360 i think that people in power strategically disconnect us from each other from nature

00:14:50.640 and it's by design if they can keep us disconnected they can keep i like how they've been talking for

00:14:55.920 10 minutes they both just said a lot of nothing like nothing tangible not one fact profits

00:15:01.200 flowing a woman at a drag queen on staring at these screens and disagreeing nature can suffer 0.52

00:15:07.600 and they can abuse nature and if we thought of nature like the relative that it is to us 0.92

00:15:14.160 we would never abuse it and treat it as we do but when we think of nature as a resource and

00:15:20.400 something to extract from take from abuse we separate ourselves from that i think it's a lot

00:15:26.640 easier to abuse something so well you both seem identical to me both theater kids you both love

00:15:32.000 nature all right so hot this segment is called word hunting

00:15:40.400 okay i'm going to shoot a word or a phrase at each of you and you're going to share the first

00:15:44.960 thing that comes to mind all right well okay they're just gonna do some sappy stuff a woman 1.00

00:15:50.720 and a drag queen guys well so what you're gonna see is she's gonna try to do more because women 0.93

00:15:56.880 don't really believe things right so you're gonna kind of see her go against things like you know i 0.87

00:16:02.720 think sometimes we convince ourselves we believe things but it's just imagine being a kid and being

00:16:07.520 like where's mom and she's taking the drag queen or she's doing a candace silence honey she's busy

00:16:14.240 terrorizing a widow i can't with these ladies all right guys like the video subscribe and i'll see 0.96

00:16:22.000 you next time 0.99
