00:00:00.000 the parents that think they can control their kids it's a lost cause we're cooked all right 1.00
00:00:04.360 what's going on guys welcome to my reaction series today we are reacting to women taking 0.65
00:00:09.220 L's as we normally do and one of those L's is getting piercings so I remember again I was kind
00:00:15.320 of risk averse when I was young so um I remember girls in my grade getting belly button piercings 0.87
00:00:20.560 and again I kind of had a neurotic mother so she would always and this is probably a good thing
00:00:24.700 right she would always be in my ear like don't get tattoos don't get piercings and so um 1.00
00:00:30.000 I would always repeat that stuff to my friends getting piercings.
00:00:34.780 And I remember getting on birth control was another.
00:00:37.900 That's why I don't really have a lot of sympathy for these regrets.
00:00:41.080 Because I remember being there in my childhood when a lot of women got this stuff.
00:00:45.680 Because I don't have anything pierced under my ears.
00:00:47.420 No tattoos.
00:00:49.400 Not on birth control.
00:00:51.040 Like, I don't know.
00:00:51.600 When I was young, this was, I don't know.
00:00:54.200 I felt like it was normal.
00:00:55.440 But, okay.
00:00:56.000 Anyways, the piercing regret.
00:00:58.280 I don't know. 0.50
00:00:58.700 the belly button was a big one um i know women that got their nipples pierced and i'm like that 1.00
00:01:03.900 i feel like that can't be good when you have kids but i don't know we'll see what these ladies say
00:01:08.320 so as a girl with 15 piercings i do have piercing regret and that would be my thirds 1.00
00:01:14.640 those bitches have not healed at all they i got them done last 1.00
00:01:19.760 october no august of last year have not healed have not healed i clean them with saline spray 1.00
00:01:29.240 i don't i barely touch them i have a piercing pillow i have literally like difficult piercings
00:01:35.540 like my helix my like hidden rook i have my dave piercing those are crazy it's like why get
00:01:43.420 attention from piercing why don't you get intentions from attention from losing weight
00:01:47.160 uh going on a cut i'm healing those are fine healing my thirds absolutely not i hate it i
00:01:53.480 hate it so much will not get another like low piercing these my like in between my first and
00:02:01.280 my seconds healed fine they're healed they're good they're good to go but not my thirds not
00:02:06.180 my thirds so there's a girl with all right let's see all right so she regrets some of the higher
00:02:11.240 ear piercings yeah i thought about getting my cartilage but i don't know i don't wear earrings
00:02:16.380 enough because if look if it's small i'm gonna lose it it's just i can't be trusted with anything
00:02:22.300 like like anything that i have to remember to do daily i pierced my own belly button yeah you 0.61
00:02:29.500 heard that right i pierced my own freaking belly button well really i sort of had to do it twice
00:02:36.060 because what happened was i was at my friend's house and a couple of us a couple of us did it 0.98
00:02:40.220 we took safety pins fucking geniuses we took safety pins and we shoved it through and then 0.79
00:02:46.780 what i did was i had to go to the mall and get an actual belly button ring and i guys i was outside 0.97
00:02:54.460 of the mall laying in the grass with johnny my boyfriend at the time and i think i had my friend
00:02:59.020 lauren i think there's like a couple other people there laying in the grass shoving the belly button
00:03:04.620 ring through the, the safety pinhole. Like, what are you kidding me? Like, that just tells you my
00:03:10.880 mental state at that time. You know, I could never do something like that today. I was the toughest
00:03:15.760 fucking kid on the planet. So, um, and actually what happened with that was my, I kept a diary 0.98
00:03:21.820 in eighth grade, which God, why did I always write everything down? It got me into so much trouble.
00:03:25.320 My mom read my diary, loved to read my diary apparently. And she knew that I pierced my
00:03:31.100 belly button and what she did instead of her just coming out and being like, Oh, you pierced your 0.99
00:03:34.380 belly button what she did was this is smart I'll give my mom credit she took me shopping we went 0.99
00:03:39.660 shopping at the mall and she came in the dressing room with me and when I was trying on clothes
00:03:47.400 she made it seem like she just saw it and she was like what is that and it was like what
00:03:51.020 I was like oh fuck I got in so much trouble for that but here's why I regret it not only because 0.85
00:03:56.020 that was traumatic as hell but I have the worst scar because I pierced my belly button like 0.98
00:04:02.340 on top of my belly button so both the top part obviously supposed to be on the top but the
00:04:07.440 bottom part that's supposed to be like in your belly button is on top of my belly button so I
00:04:12.300 have just like this crazy scar above my belly button it's insane where you know now if you
00:04:19.300 you can tell if someone had a belly button piercing and they've taken it out they just
00:04:21.900 have a little hole above their belly button you're like cool I know what that was no not me I have 0.96
00:04:25.400 this like crazy fucking scarf yeah that's the thing one of i know a relative that their friend 0.98
00:04:32.360 like in high school this is the the parents that think they can control their kids you can't like 0.99
00:04:37.780 they'll get their hands on tattoo guns belly button i mean it's just it's a lost cause we're
00:04:43.300 cooked we're done i'm no longer behind bars you can thank my best friend for that line
00:04:51.720 she got nipple piercings oh no now she's got a jesus crop we know the pipeline we know it 0.92
00:04:59.140 from the shackles of nipple piercings come with me to release myself from the shackles of nipple 0.98
00:05:06.680 piercings i had a cry about this this is so dumb i'm angry at myself because i ended up just getting 0.90
00:05:10.800 them re-pierced seriously regret getting my nips and belly button pierced they're crusty they spout
00:05:15.280 goo finally it happened to me right the way i wanted to retire these piercings i had them for
00:05:21.840 five years causing me so many issues every time i would think about getting rid of them it's like
00:05:26.000 it would send signals to them and they would know to get infected so i can't remove them obviously
00:05:30.160 they are not infected and i'm about to get my yiddies done i really only got them because i
00:05:35.680 wanted a confidence boost because i'm very flat chested and they still have their purpose you
00:05:39.280 know but it's time to go i'm not growing down literally i'm free oh my gosh okay let's see this
00:05:49.680 one i pierced my own oh wait i saw this one already let's keep going all right what piercing
00:05:57.120 did you regret lady like has to be getting my belly button pierced at a time where i was very 0.85
00:06:02.000 insecure or i guess having my belly button pierced and then somebody ripping it out of my stomach
00:06:05.360 i'm still not too sure which one but listen i got my belly button pierced by the time where i was
00:06:09.760 very insecure never wore crop tops when i had it i had my piercing for eight months it was the last
00:06:15.260 day of school wore a crop top for the first time took my hoodie off in sixth period and i kid you
00:06:20.140 not my best friend looked at me in the eyes and went do you have a belly button piercing i have
00:06:25.800 for the last eight months nobody knew that i had my belly pierced because i was so insecure and then
00:06:30.440 like went to the beach for the first time in a full bikini and literally that day somebody ran
00:06:33.940 up to me and ripped my belly piercing out now i have an ugly scar and then after two years of 0.97
00:06:38.260 being really insecure about the fact that my belly button is now so fucked up like even more 0.97
00:06:42.020 fucked up than it was after i got my appendix taken out i remember i posted a video showing 1.00
00:06:45.940 off the scar some stranger commented and went your belly button looks like a vagina oh thanks 0.99
00:06:50.900 no yeah thanks thanks new insecurity like i didn't just post a video talking about the fact that i'm 0.98
00:06:57.460 really insecure about my belly button oh yeah thanks i should have shown off my belly button
00:07:01.060 piercing more when i had one because now i just get bullied on the internet and it was okay let's
00:07:06.020 see what she's getting our regrets that i see most people get when they're doing their piercing
00:07:10.660 especially the number one regret that i see the most is people getting pierced on both sides
00:07:14.180 especially cartilage i never ever recommend it's everyone's ears you can do whatever you want but
00:07:18.260 i never recommend to get two cartilage piercings on different sides at once i'm like do one ear
00:07:21.940 and then move on to the other you know what when i was young i thought about cartilage but it seemed
00:07:25.700 too painful i heard it hurts too much it's fine if like a couple months you have one ear that's
00:07:30.020 spare in one ear that's not because when you go to sleep and you cannot sleep on both sides of
00:07:34.020 your ears head whatever that is going to be like hell on earth it is not fun for anyone usually
00:07:38.740 you do end up sleeping on it and then your piercing goes from this angle to this angle and the jewelry
00:07:43.380 is sitting straight up and you can't even see the study anymore and it's not cute plus it doesn't
00:07:47.140 heal well another regret that i see is a lot of people are really really fixated on a certain
00:07:50.980 placement or a specific type of piercing rather than having a piercer like look at the anatomy
00:07:54.900 of their ear and figure out what's going to look good on your specific ear type go to your piercer
00:07:58.900 with lots of ideas not just one i love seeing inspo i think that's really really helpful for
00:08:03.880 a piercer but don't be so stuck on one that you do something that just is not going to heal well
00:08:08.680 or look cute on your specific ear everyone's ears are so different another huge regret that i see
00:08:13.260 is people not downsizing their post and so then you got this huge long ab post that keeps getting
00:08:18.560 caught in your hair and you wake up and it's angry i don't know about other studios our studio we
00:08:24.100 charge ten dollars for a downsize it's like five minutes to do it's so freaking easy i have seen
00:08:30.500 other people be like well if my piercer didn't charge like 50 for a downsize yeah i i get that
00:08:35.140 because it's such a crucial part of your healing um go downsize it's gonna heal again at a weird
00:08:41.540 wonky angle and it's always gonna be angry and then you're gonna blame your piercer or whatever
00:08:45.380 just go get it down another regret that i see is getting a piercing that you have to hide whether
00:08:48.500 it's because of your job your school whatever it is if you're having to constantly hide a piercing
00:08:53.140 you are going to end up hating it and just taking it out because it's not going to be easy for you
00:08:57.060 and also a piercing that it's hidden or disturbed all the time it's not going to heal super well
00:09:00.740 and it's not going to be cute in the long run yeah and i don't know i'm just a practical person
00:09:07.220 so it's got to be pragmatic last one i see this all the time people are assuming piercings aren't
00:09:11.540 permanent so it doesn't matter if it doesn't heal right or if they don't like it because they can
00:09:15.140 just take it out and it's going to close now sometimes this is right and this is how it goes
00:09:19.060 I can't tell you how many lobes that I have seen specifically lobes because a lot of people would
00:09:23.440 do that at home or with a like DIY piercing gun where you can just see so many holes in the ear. 1.00
00:09:30.360 It's so not cute and I feel so bad for these girls. Sometimes the holes never ever ever leave.
00:09:36.540 Yeah um yeah okay let's go to the next one. I have 44 piercings and here are my piercing regrets.
00:09:44.160 Starting off this one is something that I think no one really thinks about. Again 44 piercings
00:09:49.020 you're like you could be a cute girl next door and you guys just want to look like tramps why
00:09:53.700 um and i regret it the most is i did not plan out my piercings bro i didn't stop and think and smell
00:10:00.640 the roses and think hmm what do i want my ears to look like in the next 10 years next two years
00:10:06.100 and i think now because it's kind of trending on social media a lot of people they have like a 0.98
00:10:10.340 picture of their ear and they draw on what they want it to look like but my ass at 16 years old 0.99
00:10:15.180 didn't do this. I just took a piercing gun and I did a bunch of stuff and luckily it worked out. 0.99
00:10:19.600 I found a way to style it. However, if I had styled it from the get-go with a plan, I think
00:10:23.960 I just would have been more happy and it would have been less difficult to style my ears because
00:10:28.220 a great example is this ear took me like years to fall in love with it and be able to style it
00:10:35.180 like this to a point where I actually like it. Another thing is neglecting my piercings. I wish,
00:10:40.360 wish wish on my deepest deepest days that when i had first started piercing myself i had taken care
00:10:45.880 of them i had used saline i had used proper jewelry proper quality i had gone to professional
00:10:51.320 i had done this the proper way i also wish i would have bought a piercing pillow sooner
00:10:56.520 i bought it when i had started getting i think professionally pierced which was maybe three
00:11:01.240 years ago but i started getting pierced four years ago so for a year i was really struggling
00:11:05.800 especially when you're healing something like a helix or a cartilage a piercing pillow will 0.99
00:11:09.800 literally save your ass every single time. I wish I had researched my piercer or at least done a 0.99
00:11:15.800 piercer that works for me long-term. I love when I can go back to the same piercer. You have that
00:11:20.740 relationship. You guys vibe with each other. You know each other. It's like a tattoo artist. I go
00:11:24.640 to the same girl because she knows me. She knows what I like. She knows how I process, how I work.
00:11:29.160 So I want us to be in the same mindset and I want us to keep working with each other.
00:11:33.640 And at first I was just kind of going to places that I thought were good. They have great reviews,
00:11:37.720 but they weren't really realistic. Maybe they were too far away. Maybe it was a person who I
00:11:42.520 knew was moving. And you can do that, of course, if you really want to make the two hour drive or
00:11:46.280 one and a half hour drive to a shop. However, to me, that's not realistic, especially when you're
00:11:50.160 working and you're busy. I want it to be somewhere where it's commutable and a good review. So my
00:11:56.160 shop now, I go to the same one for the past year. She wants it. She doesn't really regret piercings.
00:12:01.680 Hers aren't too bad. I don't think ear piercings as a girl or even belly button is going to do that 0.98
00:12:06.660 much for you nipples like who wants infected nipples you know i don't think piercings really 1.00
00:12:12.560 are going to be the end of the world for a woman as long as they're not on her face 1.00
00:12:17.080 one nose piercing and once you get into lip and all that weird stuff right about nearly everything 1.00
00:12:24.000 in my life thus far and i'm 30 years old but this is probably the thing she was most right about
00:12:29.240 when i was a teenager i really wanted my belly button pierced along with like everyone else my
00:12:33.660 age. She would not let me do it. So I did it after I turned 18. I have three kids and I took
00:12:41.500 my belly button ring out before I had my first. And now I look like I have a cat's butthole on 0.96
00:12:48.600 my stomach, my mom pouch, my stretch marks. Like none of that makes me insecure, but this, that 0.95
00:12:56.920 I don't let it like consume me. I still wear crop tops and things like that. But if I had seen this
00:13:03.300 when I was a teenager, I don't know that I would have ended up getting my belly button ring only
00:13:07.760 to wear it. Damn. Wait, let me pull that up again. I think I missed it. For three years and then take 0.99
00:13:13.560 it off. Wait, hold on. That? Oh, that looks terrible. Oh my God. I ate my words. I didn't
00:13:23.600 realize it looked like that. I mean, I don't think it's the end of the world, but like most guys,
00:13:30.120 it's still do it right you know she's thin cute enough but yeah that doesn't look good okay guys
00:13:36.900 let me know what you think in the comments I love you thanks so much for watching like the video and
00:13:40.840 I'll see you next time
