Pearl - Meet The Women Who Are DROWNING In Debt

00:00:00.000 Look poor or don't complain. I see heavy makeup, blonde hair, a nice outfit and nails.

00:00:06.040 What up guys? Welcome to my reaction series. Today we are reacting to modern women having 1.00

00:00:10.400 consequences and today it is debt. Unless you can find a simp to pay it off for you,

00:00:17.260 which some of the hot ones might. Women are now having to deal with the excessive debt they 1.00

00:00:22.120 racked up in college. Okay, I think being in debt is just so hard lately and I think it's

00:00:28.260 really hard in this society because people are so judgmental I feel like you don't get it until

00:00:33.500 you're in it and it sucks when you're in it like I hate being in debt so much I have credit card

00:00:38.580 debt I have a personal loan and I have my car loan and I think and here's the thing I have to go with

00:00:44.080 what I have seen in real life and car loans when women got out of college when I was in school and 0.98

00:00:51.140 they got their first car they would always buy cars they can't afford they would get a loan and

00:00:55.520 a lot of them owned their cars so they really didn't have to think that there's like this stigma 0.99

00:01:00.340 around it right of like you're irresponsible you're stupid like whatever blah blah people 0.99

00:01:04.440 don't necessarily understand that like sometimes we're just given a shit hand or we just make bad 1.00

00:01:11.000 decisions i've made bad decisions i've got shitty hands there's just multiple multitude of reasons 0.93

00:01:16.300 for it but i think people are just so judgmental you know you know like again if you're complaining

00:01:22.500 about debt i expect you to look poor you know one of my favorite comments on me and my siblings i

00:01:26.900 used to do these vlogs um when i lived in my parents house and they would say you guys are

00:01:30.980 rich but you look poor and i don't know if i still do but i expect bare face makeup i expect um

00:01:39.140 you don't have super nice clothes i'm thinking t-shirts but just too often i see like heavy 0.96

00:01:45.700 makeup, maybe some Botox, minor plastic surgery, hair dye, possibly fake boobs. I'm just annoyed. 0.82

00:01:54.140 Look poor. If you're complaining about being poor, these are discretional items. You don't

00:01:58.820 have to buy these. About it. And it's like, it's hard because you want to share your journey and

00:02:02.880 everything like that. And I see all these girls sharing their journey and share your journey.

00:02:06.720 I'm probably going to tell you why you deserve it. Like how much they're in debt and how they're

00:02:10.360 paying it off. And I think that's amazing. I personally will never share how much I'm in debt

00:02:14.340 because there's a shame to it. And I think that there's a stigma of you should never be in debt

00:02:18.700 and it's not good and all that. And yeah, granted, I wish I wasn't in debt and I wish that I wasn't in

00:02:23.440 this position. And here's the thing. That's when women, the economy is really what's going to make 1.00

00:02:27.740 women get married. It's not love or like wanting to settle down. I mean, there was a new poll that 0.98

00:02:33.360 said that men actually want to get married more than women now. And they're saying they're

00:02:37.200 admitting that that's always been true but now we're saying it out loud so um now the economy 0.68

00:02:45.020 is gonna suck and don't get suckered guys do not pay off a woman's debt you know what do what you 0.91

00:02:50.180 want if you want to simp simp I don't care but I wouldn't recommend it and I wish that I could 0.97

00:02:54.340 just have all of my debt just poof gone but that's not realistic for so many of us and I think it's

00:02:59.740 so harmful when people are just so rude about it and there's just so much shame like yeah you think

00:03:04.340 that we don't already know that like you don't think that we already know that right but then

00:03:07.960 shut up about it women here's the thing they complain and nobody likes to hear anybody 1.00

00:03:13.000 complain about their problems like your problems are your problems and the older you get the more 0.97

00:03:17.920 you realize that nobody cares and it's just better to keep your problems to yourself um hey guys how

00:03:24.420 many of you are still wearing the same busted belt from 2003 with the stretched out holes and

00:03:29.720 the floppy end hanging off your waist. Yes, I see you. Because here's the thing, you can clean up

00:03:35.860 your style, you can wear nicer clothes, but if your belt looks cheap or it's digging into your

00:03:39.960 stomach, every time you sit down, you're going to look sloppy. That's where today's sponsor Anson

00:03:45.060 Belt and Buckle comes in. Anson makes what I honestly think is the perfect belt system for

00:03:50.240 men who care about comfort and style. Instead of holes, they use a track system on the back of the

00:03:55.280 straps so you can get these tiny quarter inch adjustments. That means you are not stuck between

00:04:00.760 too tight and about to fall off. If your weight fluctuates a bit, if you just had a big meal,

00:04:05.860 if you lost a few pounds, you can tighten or loosen it one or two notches. It's that easy

00:04:11.340 to have a perfect fit every single time. And visually, they actually look sharp. You can mix

00:04:16.900 and match these buckles and straps so one buckle can work with different colors and materials.

00:04:21.380 You want something that works with jeans on the weekend, then swap it to a cleaner strap for the

00:04:27.020 office or date night. Same system, different look, all with the perfect fit every single time.

00:04:32.900 For guys, comfort is not optional. You work, you drive, you travel. A stiff old belt that cuts into

00:04:38.120 your waist all day is ridiculous at this point in your life. Anson fixes that and you don't have to 0.74

00:04:44.000 sacrifice looking put together to be comfortable. And because Anson Belt and Buckle is sponsoring

00:04:49.240 today's video when you click the link in the description or scan this qr code to build a box

00:04:54.040 set you'll get two bonus pieces a buckle and a strap completely free that's three buckles and

00:04:59.880 three straps which can be mixed and matched into nine unique belt combos all in one box it's an

00:05:06.120 exclusive deal you won't get anywhere else so if you're tired of wrestling with belts that never

00:05:10.360 quite fit right do yourself a favor click the link build your set and upgrade you to your belt game

00:05:15.480 today and then so what we do is we share our problems and whine about our problems and then

00:05:20.020 get mad when people say that they don't care and women used to get sympathy for this kind of thing

00:05:25.320 but now men have just seen us make bad decisions for too long and they're done they're done there's 0.99

00:05:29.340 no sympathy left this was stupid and bad and like whatever but you don't truly know until you're in 0.95

00:05:34.420 that person's shoe and everybody's debt journeys are so different and i will say there are the 0.99

00:05:39.140 irresponsible ones who are just like yeah i'm in debt i don't care it couldn't be me i care but

00:05:44.360 and they're just like they just spend and spend and spend and irresponsible and just keep being

00:05:47.740 irresponsible and then there's people who do care and they're like you know what i'm trying to get

00:05:51.540 myself out of this and i just can't and it's hard and like whatever so i don't know i just feel like

00:05:56.140 there's so much shame around it lately and i think that people are just so judgmental and it's like

00:06:00.680 i think you should think before you speak because especially about something that you've never

00:06:04.720 personally been in or even if you have that's the other thing is the people who have been in debt

00:06:08.680 and they're like shaming people for being in debt you've been there too before so don't don't don't

00:06:13.700 even start. I don't know. That's because they know it was their own fault. Most of the people

00:06:17.560 that overcome a problem, the worst part about overcoming a problem is the time you wasted

00:06:23.360 when you could have just dealt with that problem. So a couple of months ago, I made a video on here

00:06:27.820 about my credit card debt payoff journey. I've paid off about $20,000 of credit card debt this

00:06:33.340 year, and I haven't really done an update on it or really continued it for a number of reasons.

00:06:38.600 One, and I know a lot of people who have been in debt can relate to this. I hold and harbor a lot

00:06:43.260 of shame related to my debt and it was and by the way um shame is a good thing that's something you

00:06:48.580 should be ashamed you know I'll give you an example I've always been ashamed I'm kind of

00:06:52.320 messy I've just always you know I've been a little bit messy and this year I've actually made a lot

00:06:55.940 of strides into becoming a neater person I'm not neat but I'm a lot better and like I I think shame

00:07:02.040 kind of I think shame is is something you feel a lot of times when there's a problem no one can

00:07:08.580 make you feel shame you know something's off it's just it got to be something that was really hard

00:07:14.460 to talk about because i never felt like my progress was enough i never felt like it just

00:07:20.820 feels never ending it feels suffocating and i had a couple really expensive months that kind of set

00:07:26.200 me back in the amount i wanted to pay off per month i haven't been adding to my debt at all

00:07:30.880 but i haven't really paid off the amount that i was hoping i was going to be able to each month

00:07:36.020 so that just kind of like i don't know it kind of depressed me a little bit i've seen other

00:07:39.920 creators create series and she doesn't look poor again your nails are done i just cannot take this

00:07:47.740 if you are complaining about your debt you look poor or don't complain i see heavy makeup

00:07:55.220 blonde hair a nice outfit and nails it's like tracking their credit card debt and like honestly

00:08:01.400 i would love to do that but i just don't know if disclosing the full amount is something i'm ready

00:08:05.680 to do yet because like I said I harbor a lot of shame from my credit card debt and it's something

00:08:11.620 I'm still working to get over it's also been a major source of anxiety for the past seven years

00:08:18.260 I don't complain about shame they solve the problem they figure out how to fix it my life

00:08:22.280 like thinking about money gives me anxiety I don't come from wealth my first job out of college

00:08:27.340 really set me behind and I discovered I have bipolar disorder which creates really bad spending

00:08:33.680 habits or it can especially there's always you know you're it's not your mental issues that are

00:08:39.300 giving you these problems it's it is poor choices and a poor character trait but a lot of times when

00:08:46.220 we have poor character traits we can't just accept it you know being untreated for so long i go into

00:08:53.200 my depressive phases and like i get that little high off of going shopping or finding something

00:08:58.280 on sale even if it's something i didn't really need and if it's something i didn't have money for

00:09:02.000 it was just a really bad habit i built and a lot of it was due to that as well as undiagnosed adhd

00:09:08.640 so i medicated for both of those now but it's like getting out of this like my habits are better now

00:09:14.880 i don't spend money i don't have but crawling out of the hole is so so hard i'm like you can feel

00:09:21.560 free to give me advice but i've done every tip and trick i want to see i don't okay not adding

00:09:27.020 to debt is a huge win all the methods are great but don't work without a budget you need to know

00:09:31.600 every dollar coming in and out keep going oh my gosh all the i like how the man in the comments

00:09:39.360 is the only one that offered a solution he's like make sure you have a budget and the women are just 1.00

00:09:44.240 listing they're saying you go queen good job in the book women go online just for claps we're

00:09:49.600 like it's like we're seals like yay i've consolidated my debt and loan i've opened up

00:09:56.320 balance transferred cars I've um categorized my debt from highest interest to lowest interest

00:10:02.100 and I'm focusing on paying off the highest interest at first and like that has worked for

00:10:06.560 the most part it's just such a slow moving process and when you get behind a couple months it's so

00:10:11.860 hard to just like I have that anxiety that's in my head again of just like I don't even want to

00:10:16.260 look at the numbers because what if I'm behind again this month what happens then I know I've

00:10:20.360 made a lot of progress but I still have so much to go and it's just such a daunting task especially

00:10:25.440 with the holidays women will do everything but not spend money and get a second job it's coming up 1.00

00:10:30.320 um i really want to start a series to hold myself accountable and like track this in some way so if

00:10:34.880 you have any creators that have done that please drop them in the comments i would love to see them

00:10:39.440 i don't i wouldn't really recommend documenting your journey because you only have so much time

00:10:45.440 and you're gonna have to remember to document everything fix the problem and talk about it

00:10:49.360 later maybe take some videos if you want to talk about it after but yeah if you just have any

00:10:54.720 general support that would be awesome because this process really really sucks especially when

00:10:59.280 you have things in your life that you don't want to miss i don't believe in creating an unsustainable

00:11:03.240 way to pay off debt because i just don't feel like that's something i would keep up with like

00:11:07.080 just saying no to everything that's just it's not sustainable and it's not something that

00:11:11.320 will do everything but stop spending stick to it's like a diet if you cut everything out

00:11:14.960 you're gonna binge so that's just kind of my mindset with it it's worked for the first 20 000

00:11:19.800 but we've hit a lull so any advice all right guys um let me know what you think in the comments

00:11:28.280 do you think it's acceptable for women to complain about debt with fake nails 0.98

00:11:32.160 i think it's not and i i want to see more shame not less because some simps gonna have to bail 0.99

00:11:38.600 her out of this anyways guys make sure you like the video please subscribe to the channel and

00:11:41.960 bring that notification bell i'll see you next time
