Pearl - Modern Women and The Consequences of Drunk Driving

00:00:00.000 I watch the news all the time. I shouldn't get so emotional, but like, your whole family?

00:00:05.420 What up, guys? Welcome to my reaction series. In my lifetime, the narrative officially has been

00:00:11.280 that men are very irresponsible. But really, when you look at it, women are the ones that

00:00:19.340 are irresponsible. Even though the media keeps telling us that men are the ones doing the

00:00:24.240 dangerous stuff, men are the ones that are reckless, it's really women that are the ones 1.00

00:00:28.540 that are reckless and we're gonna watch a bunch of videos today of women drinking and driving 1.00

00:00:34.420 um to prove it they always say that men are drinking like to drink and drive and that yeah 1.00

00:00:39.820 i mean that's true but they're better drivers so they can do it better you know lawrence woman

00:00:44.180 arraigned in her hospital bed is now facing a number of charges in the death of a tow truck

00:00:48.600 driver police say she told them she did three shots of vodka hours before the crash on 495

00:00:55.080 I doubt it.

00:00:57.720 It's more than that.

00:00:58.800 Oh, poor guy.

00:00:59.760 But as Julie McDonald explains, her blood alcohol test showed she was well below the legal limit.

00:01:07.140 I doubt it.

00:01:08.000 Both the suspect and judge appeared surprised by that blood alcohol result during the arraignment here at Tufts Medical Center.

00:01:14.880 Investigators say they're still looking into whether she could have been under the influence of anything else.

00:01:20.600 Sheena Dion of Lawrence closed her eyes and covered her face Friday.

00:01:24.360 listening to the charges against her.

00:01:26.540 She's accused of hitting and killing tow truck operator Dan Cody 1.00

00:01:30.500 as he worked in the breakdown lane on 495 in Andover Wednesday.

00:01:35.340 These blue-collar men, I mean, they're really risking their lives to keep society going.

00:01:40.200 I mean, even truckers, right? There's bad drivers everywhere.

00:01:43.540 For the consequences as to what happened, we lost a very good man.

00:01:46.820 In court documents, police say Dion confessed to drinking three shots of vodka

00:01:51.360 less than three hours before the crash.

00:01:53.980 but the prosecutor said her blood alcohol was only 0.03. It's well below the legal limit.

00:02:00.360 0.03. Yes, sir. That was the result of the point. I wonder how long it was after,

00:02:06.560 you know, they pulled her over. Women are such bad drivers that they literally thought she was 1.00

00:02:11.040 drunk. As investigators look into what else could have been in her system, Dion's attorney points to

00:02:18.660 dangerous weather. I'll get away with it. Women get away with everything. Conditions Wednesday night. 1.00

00:02:22.720 It's not going to change anything.

00:02:23.900 We're not going to be able to bring him back.

00:02:25.180 Hopefully they do something, you know, change things up a little bit

00:02:27.720 and make things a little safer for us out there.

00:02:29.680 Bail for Dion was set at $2,500.

00:02:32.580 All right, let's see who's next.

00:02:34.140 We got a woman charged in DUI crash that killed the mother of two.

00:02:37.040 One turns deadly.

00:02:38.440 A UW-Milwaukee student in jail accused of driving drunk,

00:02:42.260 killing a Milwaukee mother of two.

00:02:44.460 The lives of several families will never be the same.

00:02:47.100 Waukesha County investigators say 20.

00:02:48.980 And there's no excuse when you're in the city.

00:02:50.900 Nowadays, like when I was in high school, there was no Uber.

00:02:55.360 When I was 18, I think that's when I first remember, 18 or 19, that's when I remember Uber coming.

00:02:59.700 So that was a decade ago.

00:03:01.420 Why the hell are you driving drunk when there's Uber?

00:03:03.900 There's no excuse.

00:03:04.700 Three-year-old Abby Dominski was on her way home after a Brewers game 1.00

00:03:08.320 when her car crossed the center line, sparking a chain reaction crash. 0.74

00:03:12.720 Our Katie Crowther has been reading through the details of this deadly crash.

00:03:16.560 Katie.

00:03:16.840 Carolyn George those details hard to read especially knowing that multiple lives have

00:03:22.700 been changed forever because of a totally preventable mistake drunk driving I knew I

00:03:28.320 shouldn't be driving I was too drunk to drive that's what Abby Dominski told Waukesha I used

00:03:34.700 to live there I used to work there county sheriff's deputies hours after causing an accident

00:03:40.560 that killed candace frankowiak one bad decision leaving candace's two children

00:03:46.440 without their mother the crash happened on highway 164 near south j lane in the town of

00:03:54.400 lisbon monday night dominsky was airlifted to freighter where the criminal complaint says

00:03:59.120 she didn't remember my gosh i used to sell printers to the hospital if anyone cares 0.98

00:04:03.220 okay but this is the thing you never know like female drivers are a liability seriously 1.00

00:04:09.740 being in an accident. According to the complaint, Dominski had been at the Brewers game and Kelly's

00:04:15.340 bleachers with her boyfriend. She initially told investigators she didn't have that much to drink,

00:04:20.880 two to three vodka lemonades. Later, she changed that to five beers, a vodka lemonade, and a shot

00:04:27.140 of vodka. Also saying she was angry at her boyfriend for letting her drive because she

00:04:32.280 Oh my gosh, now it's your boyfriend's fault. She was drunk. She told detectives she takes anxiety

00:04:37.580 and bipolar medication oh my god which is not getting better by the effects of alcohol

00:04:43.200 now another person yeah but you had five drinks and was nearly killed in that crash i spoke over

00:04:49.680 the phone today with ted krenz who swerved to get out of dominsky's way and rolled his car into a

00:04:55.660 ditch he escaped with bumps and bruises but he is unable to stop reliving that accident

00:05:00.920 and is devastated that someone else lost their life yeah i mean you never know who's on the road

00:05:07.000 my dad um had someone hit the back of his car and he probably would have died if he wasn't driving a

00:05:13.040 16 passenger van my poor father my forefather doesn't drink and a drunk driver almost killed

00:05:18.920 him i'm like how does that happen to you on halloween he was driving to the airport for an

00:05:24.500 early flight some mexican hit him in the back and and they got off too which is incredible 1.00

00:05:29.900 incredible it's like you almost killed my dad screw you my dad's lucky he was driving that car 0.96

00:05:36.000 because that car, he was safe. 0.80

00:05:37.700 Executives have released new evidence in the deadly crash that killed a 22-year-old woman.

00:05:42.320 Police say the driver was drunk when she crashed into a truck, killing her own passenger.

00:14:51.100 to a baby boy three hours after the accident uber so cheap her blood alcohol level was 0.15

00:16:17.760 oh my god my heart just broke that's so sad um well guys this is what happens when you give women 1.00

00:16:25.260 the right to drive um the problem is women just always think we're going to get out of things 1.00

00:16:31.280 because we do get out of a lot of things and therefore because there's no consequences we

00:16:34.880 just keep going um but what's going to happen is women are going to get into positions of power 1.00

00:16:39.560 we're going to take them from men because women want to be men and we'll take the high status 1.00

00:16:42.900 positions and then women hate other women so feminism is just going to eat each eat itself 1.00

00:16:47.840 at some point so anyways all right guys let me know what you think in the comments like the video
