00:00:00.000 Do you think that women should be put in jail who have abortions? 0.97
00:00:03.760 I think that, yeah, if somebody is intentionally, willfully, with full knowledge, pursuing the
00:00:08.580 crime of killing the baby, whether that's a woman or someone else outside of her, it's
00:00:12.400 a man who's pushing that on her or another woman, the abortionist obviously committing
00:00:15.580 the act, there should be criminal penalties for that.
00:00:17.420 And so we would agree then life in prison, similar to like aborting an adult, we would
00:00:22.420 agree?
00:00:22.840 I think it depends.
00:00:23.660 I mean, every state has different kinds of homicide laws and there's different penalties
00:00:27.260 depending on different circumstances, different degrees of murder. So I think it'll depend. I mean,
00:00:32.060 right now, for example, if you commit infanticide, you kill a newborn baby, right? And you do it with
00:00:37.000 full intent and full knowledge. There wasn't some sort of mental health issue, right? You could get
00:00:41.540 a very significant prison sentence. And I think we need to have justice like that to protect life
00:00:46.420 and to make sure we're valuing life in our laws. So I think it's going to depend case by case,
00:00:50.220 but overall, yes, of course we should have legal protections and that would include penalties for
00:00:55.060 those that willfully intentionally with full knowledge, there's not some like mental health
00:00:58.120 issue or coercion issue going on that I think that is an important part of our legal system.
