00:00:00.000 maybe we'll build something that actually reflects alberta's values and goals
00:00:04.960 because that's what this is about choice and voice
00:00:30.000 this wouldn't be anything new canada is a very big country and there's been even smaller countries
00:00:55.280 in europe that have gone to fragment fragmentation like that canada is not a very cohesive country
00:01:01.200 you got competing interests all over the place the culture no longer unites it not even hockey
00:01:08.160 unites the country anymore think yugoslavia it got to a point where it just couldn't hold itself
00:01:13.680 together anymore right and a bunch of countries came out of that and i believe that's what's
00:01:18.560 going to happen in canada over the coming decades and alberta is going to be the catalyst alberta
00:01:24.720 is going to be the spark everybody thought it'd be quebec but at this point i believe alberta is
00:01:28.960 much more likely to separate and gain its independence before quebec some people argue
00:01:36.800 that quebec just uses that as leverage the threat of separation to gain concessions and try to get
00:01:43.920 canada to give it more than they already have i mean if that's their goal i you know i wouldn't
00:01:49.840 be surprised because they already get like 14 billion dollars in equalization. A majority of
00:01:55.480 that money and funds coming from Alberta, from right here in Alberta. But when the people of
00:02:00.620 this land say that they want to be independent, that they want to have their own country, we're
00:02:06.120 not trying to get concessions. We're not trying to get special treatment. It's because we're done
00:02:10.520 at this point. And a majority of Albertans that I speak to who support independence, what they say
00:02:15.800 it's time. That's literally the main phrase that they say. It's time. It's been a long time coming
00:02:22.680 and it's just time. We've had enough. Canada's abused us too long. We get taken advantage of
00:02:30.080 and it's taxation without representation all over again. And Albertans have simply had enough.
00:02:35.900 And again, the day we declare ourselves independent from Canada, we literally become
00:02:40.120 the country in the world with the highest GDP per capita of any country in the world. Ireland
00:02:44.700 currently, I think, is number two. Luxembourg's number one. But the Luxembourg teeny population, 0.88
00:02:49.700 it's all banking. I mean, we can sort of disregard. It's basically a family. Luxembourg
00:02:53.180 is basically a family trust. So we can disregard Luxembourg, right? But look at Ireland, okay? So
00:02:58.620 we have 10 times the land of Ireland. We have the same population, 10 times the land. We have more
00:03:04.460 university degrees per capita than Ireland. So we have a very well-educated young population,
00:03:09.140 10 times the land of ireland we have more barrels of oil per capita than saudi arabia
00:03:14.960 right so on what basis would we not be extremely successful and on what basis would albertans not
00:03:22.000 be so much better off outside of canada than we are now where all of our wealth is just
00:03:27.400 siphoned away from us you know by our colonial masters in ottawa that don't care one bit about 1.00
00:03:33.040 us other than to take our money this is what we see if you were to take a drive around alberta
00:03:39.120 any time of the week during this petition drive,
00:03:44.080 you're going to see Alberta Patriots like this lady here, 1.00
00:03:47.480 Angela Tabak, pop up in Welling,
00:03:50.420 and it's a brother and sister thing.
00:03:52.820 Look how beautiful that is.
00:03:53.820 I'm a little bro to get his big truck out here
00:03:56.860 with his giant flag, lots of hunks and some signatures
00:04:00.300 out here until 6.
00:04:03.160 Look at that.
00:04:05.040 Brother and sister team.
00:04:06.600 brother brought out his uh cuban box truck with a big old flag and he's out there they're out there
00:04:15.820 getting those signatures and spreading awareness even if people have already signed driving by
00:04:21.180 and seeing canvassers is a reminder to you know try to talk to other people you know that haven't
00:04:28.920 signed or try to convince them or try to let them know hey you know what we're not all we're not
00:04:33.000 alone it's not just us there's so many people look there's a location right here location over
00:04:37.280 there look at that freaking awesome that buddy's having his coffee probably probably just had a
00:04:47.240 coffee just relaxing there and getting some signatures freaking awesome a part of uh
00:04:54.040 alberta probably southern alberta there's no snow down there it's a lot of snow up here
00:04:58.840 look at that beautiful beautiful to see yeah so if you if you're driving and you see canvassers
00:05:09.500 make sure that you honk or wave or something these people are uh fighting for our freedom
00:05:16.020 these people are fighting for the nation of alberta so we got it we got to thank them every
00:05:19.860 chance we get this uh this lady here set up outside of a costco outside of a costco people 1.00
00:05:32.240 are getting creative some are doing it on the highway some are just setting up uh locations
00:05:39.800 outside of grocery stores others i think i think i saw one who did it outside of a church on a
00:05:46.300 Sunday and apparently got a bunch of signatures. So Christians are very prone to voting yes to 0.50
00:05:53.160 Alberta independence because they're noticing what's happening with Canada. Like I said at
00:05:57.360 the beginning of the stream, Canada is no longer a Christian-friendly country. Not only is it 1.00
00:06:03.120 completely detached from the Christian principles that founded this nation, it is actively trying 1.00
00:06:11.400 to undermine the church. It is actively trying to do away with those traditions and principles that
00:06:18.580 were the foundation of this country that we call Canada today, right?
00:06:23.200 It's not treasonous. It's not rebellion. It's not revolution. To think about this,
00:06:27.340 the democratic process available to us to be able to vote, sign a petition, to have a referendum,
00:06:34.280 and then to say whether we want self-determination for our province,
00:06:40.740 a future for our families that is more hopeful than what it looks like at the current state of affairs.
00:06:47.380 So Alberta's walking away from Canada. 0.98
00:06:50.560 Every day more and more Albertans have decided that Canada doesn't represent their values,
00:06:57.860 what they believe in, their beliefs, and everything.
00:07:01.080 and every single day the government of alberta makes a new move that separates the province from
00:07:08.340 the rest of canada particularly laurentian canada in ottawa um they're claiming that only like 30 to
00:07:16.460 34 percent of albertans support independence well but at the same time some of these same polls
00:07:20.860 say that 70 percent seven zero percent of the people who voted conservative in the last election
00:07:27.000 federal election favor independence. So that was a Leger poll, right? 70% of people who voted
00:07:32.000 conservative in the last election support independence. Well, then let's look at the fact
00:07:37.760 that something like 60% of Albertans in the last federal election voted conservative, right? So if
00:07:44.600 you look at 70% of 60%, you know, we're looking at numbers in excess of 40% in favor of independence
00:07:50.880 on the basis of that polling. All these other polls is 29% nonsense, 30% nonsense, whatever.
00:07:57.000 those polls are completely out to lunch and do not square with what we're seeing on the ground.
00:08:01.580 Conservative voters in Alberta, who are the overwhelming majority of Albertans,
00:08:06.020 overwhelmingly support independence. You know, there's a super majority of conservatives in
00:08:10.480 Alberta, federally and provincially, that want to see a free and independent Alberta.
00:08:27.000 in the next one. Peace.
