00:00:00.960 So a gentleman asked what is the difference today? Well the difference is today is we're bigger.
00:00:06.800 Maybe we couldn't have had this conversation when we had a million and a half population. Maybe we
00:00:11.600 couldn't have even had it when we had a three million population. Maybe we couldn't have had
00:00:15.360 it when we were only generating 20 billion dollars in revenue. Well maybe we can have it now that
00:00:19.600 we're generating 75 billion dollars in revenue. That's what we're asking about. It may not have
00:00:24.000 been the right time 20 years ago when this conversation started. It may not have even
00:00:27.840 been the right time 10 years ago but is the right time now. I think it is. When we started facing
00:00:32.800 all that resistance then I really couldn't wait to get to Alberta. So yeah I mean I just I love it
00:00:38.800 here. I love that this place has become kind of a bastion of freedom and I would encourage everybody
00:00:45.840 that lives here to fight to keep it that way. Alberta pretty much the last free corner of Canada
00:00:53.040 and the one place in the country that hasn't completely lost its mind.
00:00:56.480 And guess what? Ottawa hates that of course. The Feds are desperate to drag Alberta into the same
00:01:04.160 mess the rest of the country is drowning in. But here's the twist. Alberta is the one province
00:01:10.480 that can actually lead the West out of this disaster. Saskatchewan's itching to follow but
00:01:17.120 Alberta's got to lead the way. And of course the critics are already screaming. Funny how the people who
00:01:23.680 oppose freedom always seem to be the ones who never want regular folks to prosper. But this time
00:01:31.760 it's different. This movement isn't fading out after a few months like before. No no. Support is climbing.
00:01:40.560 The latest survey now shows that 45 percent of Albertans want independence.
00:01:46.240 That's nowhere near fringe anymore. That's nearly half of the province saying we're done with Canada
00:01:53.280 and they're pushing for independence. So let's dive in. Very quickly though if you enjoy these videos
00:02:00.160 please do me a solid and subscribe. It's free and you can always unsubscribe later if you change your mind.
00:02:05.840 Thank you and back to the video. So under the under law in Canada because of the 1998 reference case
00:02:14.720 and the Federal Clarity Act it says that once there is a successful vote on a clear question by a province
00:02:22.400 to succeed then the other provinces First Nations and the federal government are under a positive legal duty
00:02:29.520 to enter into good faith negotiations as to the terms upon which the province will become an
00:02:34.960 independent country. I do not expect good faith negotiations. I expect them to thwart things force
00:02:42.480 court applications. So well why am I optimistic that this could still happen then if I am of the view
00:02:49.760 that the federal government may not enter into good faith negotiations but the most important one is the
00:02:54.080 United States. So paragraph 155 of the Supreme Court of Canada decision talks about this scenario
00:03:02.080 and it it hints at if the federal government and the other parties don't enter into good faith negotiations
00:03:07.440 it doesn't preclude international recognition. It does not preclude other countries giving unilateral
00:03:14.400 international recognition to Alberta in this instance right. Well the the APP sent a delegation down
00:03:21.040 several months to go to meet with a delegation of the U.S. State Department in Washington and they
00:03:25.840 indicated to that APP delegation that they believe that the the Trump administration would be prepared
00:03:33.360 following a successful referendum to acknowledge statehood independence of Alberta. Now let's be real
00:03:41.680 Canada isn't about to just let its golden goose waltz off the farm. Alberta's the cash cow and the feds will
00:03:49.120 throw every trick every shady deal every regulation they can dream up to keep it chained to Canada's sinking ship.
00:03:58.880 But here's the history lesson. Independence is rarely one alone. The American colonies? Brave as hell.
00:04:06.800 But without France backing them the revolution would have been a lot tougher. International recognition makes
00:04:14.320 all the difference. And Alberta? Well it happens to live right next door to the most powerful country
00:04:20.880 on earth. If Washington gave Alberta the nod, Ottawa's grip would collapse overnight. The whole game would
00:04:29.520 change instantly. I feel like I've seen the best parts of Canada and the worst parts. I guess I could say.
00:04:37.920 You know, I feel like I've met the darkest, gnarliest people and then the kindest, most hospitable people.
00:04:47.680 Yeah, so I'm kind of getting both ends of it. And how does Alberta compare to the other provinces you
00:04:52.560 have been to? Oh, I mean, you know, we I couldn't wait till when we started the tour to come to Alberta,
00:05:00.160 more for personal reasons, because I grew up in Montana. So Alberta is very, you know, I used to come
00:05:06.080 up here as a kid. But, but then when we started facing all that resistance, then I really couldn't
00:05:11.920 wait to get to Alberta. So, yeah, I mean, I just I love it here. I love that this place has become kind
00:05:19.040 of a bastion of freedom. And I would encourage everybody that lives here to fight to keep it that way.
00:05:25.040 And of course, we've seen a lot of protesters come and try to disrupt Lillettus worship event
00:05:31.040 across Canada. What would you say to those who are saying that this event is spreading hate?
00:05:34.800 Come and see. I think that's one of the most amazing things about it is, is that when that
00:05:42.480 narrative gets out there, I mean, I met lots of people tonight, not just protesters, but people that
00:05:46.800 generally were like, what is this dude up to? And what is this thing? And is this true? And they end up
00:05:51.600 showing up. And I think that that's amazing. I think that it's very lazy reporting to report
00:05:57.360 on something or believe something when you can't verify yourself. There was out of the 11 cities
00:06:05.200 that were that we had permits for, there was only two that kept to their word. That was Saskatchewan and
00:06:12.320 Alberta. So look, if you needed more proof that Alberta isn't like the rest of Canada, Christian
00:06:19.040 influencer and MAGA supporter Sean Forge just visited 11 Canadian cities. And out of all of them,
00:06:26.720 the one place he couldn't wait to arrive in was Alberta. And why? Because he said it himself,
00:06:34.560 Alberta is like the last bastion of freedom in a country that doesn't even recognize itself anymore.
00:06:40.560 And here's a fun fact. Out of 11 stops, only two cities actually kept their promise and allowed
00:06:48.560 Christian worship. And where were they? Unsurprisingly, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
00:06:55.840 That really says it all. These provinces aren't like the rest of the country. While the rest of
00:07:01.600 Canada is busy telling people what they can and cannot do, Alberta is still standing for God,
00:07:08.240 family and freedom. And let's be honest, exceptions like that don't stay trapped in broken systems.
00:07:16.240 They always break away. So when you look at what are we talking about here today, we're talking about
00:07:22.560 all the things that Quebec is already doing. And that is the question is, do we want to become
00:07:28.400 more like Quebec in managing our own affairs? So a gentleman asked what is the difference today?
00:07:44.400 Well, the difference is today is we're bigger. Maybe we couldn't have had this conversation when we had
00:07:49.920 a million and a half population. Maybe we couldn't have even had it when we had a three million population.
00:07:54.640 Maybe we couldn't have had it when we were only generating 20 billion dollars in revenue. Well,
00:07:58.720 maybe we can have it now that we're generating 75 billion dollars in revenue.
00:08:02.720 One of the things I would ask you to just consider, because I think we have a different interpretation
00:08:08.240 on some of the historical developments. When I look at Rupert's Land and then Northwest Territories
00:08:14.400 and then Alberta, when I look at the increasing numbers of areas of jurisdiction Quebec has taken over,
00:08:20.240 that is responsible government. That as you develop the means to take care of your own affairs,
00:08:25.200 then you start taking care of more of your own affairs. Are we at that point now? That's what
00:08:30.000 we're asking about. It may not have been the right time 20 years ago when this conversation started.
00:08:34.560 It may not have even been the right time 10 years ago, but is the right time now? I think it is.
00:08:38.960 And I'm looking forward to seeing what you have to say about that. So thank you.
