00:00:00.480I've got some great news for Alberta Patriots, Freedom Fighters, supporters, and pretty much everyone who's been involved in this movement one way or another.
00:00:11.560The Alberta Independence Train is in amazing shape and it's moving forward with incredible momentum.
00:00:17.980Volunteer canvassers and signature collectors for independence have now broken records in the province of Alberta.
00:00:25.220And I'm excited to share this story with you.
00:00:28.120So stick around as we break down the latest developments coming out of Alberta, as well as the recently broken record by Alberta Patriots.
00:00:37.400But first, why is it that Albertans want to separate from Canada to begin with?
00:00:56.980It has and will continue to cost hundreds of thousands of jobs, robbing countless Albertans and other Canadians of their means of providing for their families.
00:01:05.760It has cost us a decade of opportunities and tens of billions in lost royalties that could have been invested in the health, education, infrastructure, and social services Albertans and Canadians need.
00:01:18.000And what's worse, Ottawa continues onward with more destructive policies.
00:01:22.380Other parts of Canada, they're like, you know, they're like these blue states in the U.S., the hardcore Democrats.
00:01:27.940They think the most important thing to do is to display pride flags.
00:01:33.480And, you know, we started off with having Pride Week and LBGTQ stuff as a day.
00:01:41.580And it's a national celebration for a month.
00:01:43.720And all of these extremely progressive views, wide open immigration.
00:01:48.700Our immigration numbers are out of control.
00:01:52.120So their mindset in the rest of Canada is very much left-leaning, very much wanting government to look after everything, wanting government to care for every aspect of their life.
00:02:03.400Whereas those of us in the West on the prairies in Alberta and Saskatchewan, no, we don't think government's very good at doing much of anything.
00:02:13.900So there is an incredible divide in Canada.
00:02:16.600Canada is not a nation that's united with common values anymore at all.
00:02:23.400The rest of the country has gone very hard left, whereas Alberta and Saskatchewan have stayed true to conservative principles.
00:02:30.640The reality we're facing in modern-day Canada is that the differences that have always existed between the prairie provinces, particularly Alberta and Saskatchewan, with the rest of Canada,
00:02:42.100are now more pronounced and intolerable than they've ever been.
00:02:46.720You see, support for Alberta's separation is nothing new.
00:02:51.060Albertans have known for a long time that things are not fair for prairie provinces in confederation.
00:02:57.720That Ottawa has always viewed Alberta and Saskatchewan as resource colonies for eastern Canada.
00:03:04.060While it seems Albertans have finally had enough, though, support for independence has never been higher.
00:03:10.160The movement to separate from Canada has seen unprecedented momentum, and this is something that Canada can no longer ignore.
00:03:18.680So they now moved into attack mode, getting their media lapdogs to lie about American support for Alberta independence,
00:03:26.640and then some lunatics on the left even resorting to violence against volunteers.
00:03:32.420Under the Elections Act, they can be fined $25,000 and be subject to jail if they are physically interfering with canvassing,
00:03:43.100because, you know, canvassing for citizens' initiative petition, because this is a sanctioned Elections Alberta process
00:03:49.040in the same way that having a ballot on election day is a sanctioned process.
00:03:53.220If you go into a polling place and disrupt the polling place, you will be arrested.
00:03:57.900Well, I'm calling out to all of our canvassers that if any of these jackwagons show up where you're at,
00:04:02.780get off your camera, film them, take video of them, take pictures of their snarling little lefty faces,
00:04:08.540and phone the police, have them arrested.
00:04:11.000You know, get their license plate numbers.
00:06:49.280The Alberta Prosperity Project's push to see Alberta leave Canada has drawn crowds here in Okotoks, just south of Calgary.
00:06:56.900It's the latest stop to draw long lines, and those involved say that they're not surprised.
00:07:02.080I really believe that this shows how people really feel about what's going on.
00:07:08.320Lineups began before petitioners had scheduled to start.
00:07:11.680Folks in line saying they have been fed up with the federal government for too long.
00:07:16.660Blue collar, working in the trades, usually those are the kind of people that suffer the most, I think.
00:07:23.940They work the hardest, and they have the hardest time with the economy.
00:07:28.060Okotoks is one of the latest towns in the province to see an organized effort to collect signatures on the citizen petition.
00:07:35.500Since the petition was approved at the start of January, its provincial tour has drawn crowds,
00:07:41.540including these scenes in Red Deer, these in Millet, south of Edmonton, and in Calgary.
00:07:47.400The pictures they're showing you, it's exactly like these people lined up around the corner down the road.
00:07:53.380Petitioners have until the beginning of May to collect more than 177,000 signatures as required by Elections Alberta.
00:08:01.220The Canada that you grew up in no longer exists, and the Alberta independence petition is the best way forward for your family and a free future.
00:08:11.680Now, if you haven't already signed the Alberta independence petition, I highly recommend that you go and do so.
00:08:18.680Do your own research and obviously look up everything that you need to before you sign.
00:08:23.320However, the more you look into it, the more you realize that there's almost no downsides.
