00:00:00.000 In manufacturing, Ontario's getting hurt the most in these tariffs.
00:00:03.880 It can't always be Ontario.
00:00:06.160 It has to be a Team Canada approach. 0.92
00:00:08.860 You know, he wants to continue threatening, and he's nothing but a bully.
00:00:13.480 And we are going to continue fighting like we've never fought before.
00:00:18.980 So you don't want to fight.
00:00:20.220 I want a trade agreement with the United States of America.
00:00:23.540 They're our largest trading partner, have been for all of our life, yours and I's,
00:00:27.580 and likely will be into the future.
00:00:29.320 At the end of the day, why would you want to fight with your largest trading partner, regardless of what they're saying?
00:00:34.860 We need this trade agreement.
00:00:36.340 And that, of course, includes our largest customer, the United States.
00:00:40.980 Last year, Alberta alone supplied 56% of U.S. crude oil imports.
00:00:45.820 That's a number we're proud of.
00:00:47.440 It means that American refineries can count on a stable source of supply from a trusted partner.
00:00:53.160 We offer security, reliability, and predictability today, and our partners can count on us to keep that going in the long term, too.
00:01:01.560 All right, so it looks like Canada chose economic suicide by declaring financial war on the United States with the latest trade dispute that is going on.
00:01:11.180 Meanwhile, you've got Alberta and Saskatchewan, the two provinces that have some common sense left,
00:01:15.020 saying that they will continue to work with the United States and become closer in their integration with the American economy.
00:01:23.160 The Trump derangement syndrome continues to run rampant in Canada, at least on the political
00:01:28.080 leadership level, when you have people like Doug Ford, Mark Carney, and Wab Kinu out in Manitoba
00:01:34.280 doubling down on a fight that Canada can't possibly win economically and that Canada
00:01:39.900 never needed to fight. But of course, here we are, along with China, Canada is the only other 0.52
00:01:46.340 country in the world that has retaliated against American terrorists. I want you to let that sink
00:01:52.660 in for a second the people's republic of china communist china and canada are the only two
00:01:59.140 countries in the entire world that have decided to retaliate against the united states that'll
00:02:04.580 be studied as one of the stupidest most negligent economic moves or economic strategies ever in the 0.71
00:02:11.140 entire world when you consider the fact that three quarters of the canadian economy depend 0.97
00:02:15.460 heavily on access to the American market. We will lose the automotive manufacturing
00:02:22.860 industry. The president of that industry said only two weeks ago, if we don't have tariff-free
00:02:28.420 access for exports of cars, manufactured cars, we are going to exit the industry like Australia did
00:02:34.540 in 2017. So we must have an agreement with the United States with as few tariffs as possible.
00:02:42.240 The U.S. is over 10 times larger.
00:02:45.080 There are over 32 trillion GDP in U.S. dollars.
00:02:48.740 We're about just over 2 trillion, 2.5 trillion in U.S. dollars.
00:02:52.620 We are much more dependent when you look at the actual percentages of GDP.
00:02:57.840 We are far more dependent on the United States than the United States is on us.
00:03:01.460 It is absolutely essential for Canada to negotiate a new trade agreement with the United States.
00:03:07.820 It would be, I believe, catastrophic for Canada if we no longer had full tariff-free or mostly
00:03:17.300 tariff-free access to the American market.
00:03:20.000 The reality is that none of this is a coincidence.
00:03:22.920 Mark Carney and his minions love this.
00:03:25.300 They love this trade war and the political gains that they're deriving from it.
00:03:30.820 I mean, Mark Carney won the election on an anti-Trump platform.
00:03:35.900 He ran an election on basically, I'm going to take it to Trump and I'm going to be the one who can handle him and dominate him or whatever.
00:03:43.360 And that's how he won.
00:03:44.820 The elbows up crowd, they easily manipulated CBC watchers.
00:03:48.580 That is what they voted for.
00:03:50.380 And he's given him that.
00:03:51.400 At the end of the day, this is all transactional for Mark Carney.
00:03:54.420 He doesn't care if the Canadian economy falls apart as a result of taking on a $30 trillion economy while we're only a $2 trillion economy.
00:04:03.300 and we depend over 75 percent on the American market for our economy to thrive. He doesn't
00:04:09.360 care about any of that. Mark Carney cares about his pocket and it's worth mentioning that over
00:04:14.560 90 percent of his portfolio is south of the border in the United States anyway. So he's only again
00:04:19.360 loyal to his pocket and is loyal to Beijing as you can see here. Watch. From understanding you 0.60
00:04:25.360 know some of the campaign was pushing positive narratives about you. Why do you think that China
00:04:32.080 The PRC seems to like you. Why are they praising you?
00:04:36.900 I have absolutely no idea, and I, yeah, I have absolutely no idea, and I think, well, I'll leave it at that.
00:04:45.140 The days, the days of our military sending 70 cents of every dollars to the United States are over.
00:04:56.380 The progress that we have made in the partnership sets us up well.
00:05:02.080 For the new world order.
00:05:06.120 And President Trump made it very clear recently that his issue is with Canadian politicians, the Canadian government.
00:05:12.040 He doesn't have an issue with the Canadian people.
00:05:14.420 It's politicians like Justin Trudeau and now Mark Carney who've decided that they want to pick a fight with the United States.
00:05:21.420 They want to keep this trade war going for as long as possible so that they can benefit politically.
00:05:26.240 We've treated our farmers and our people.
00:05:28.400 So, you know, Canada has been very, very tough on us over the years, for many years, and no other president's done anything about it.
00:05:36.620 I love Canada. I love the people of Canada, many friends that live in Canada.
00:05:41.060 But their leadership from Trudeau to the current leadership, I mean, in all fairness to them, they need us to survive.
00:05:50.460 Without us, there's no way they can survive.
00:05:54.280 But they've been very, very tough over a period of the last 50 years, actually.
00:06:00.000 I went through the list of all the countries that had terrorists put against them all over the world.
00:06:04.800 And the only countries that have really followed through in any retaliatory type of way are China and Canada.
00:06:12.100 Why Canada? What is what is what is up with Carney, do you think?
00:06:15.880 Well, Canada has always been a problem with respect to the first NAFTA and now the U.S.-China-Mexico agreement.
00:06:25.600 Trump is right in the sense that they have barriers against our dairy products, our manufacturing products, our alcohol products.
00:06:34.160 You go to Kentucky, they're not too happy about that, David.
00:06:37.100 And so this is a retaliatory measure.
00:06:40.140 You all asked the question that's been asked for the last 48 hours, is this legal?
00:06:44.680 It appears to me to be legal. That is to say that the USMCA allows for retaliation if a country is cheating.
00:06:55.000 Canada is cheating. But, you know, David, I have to say, I've always been a fan going back to the Ronald Reagan years of US, Canada and Mexico being a free trade zone.
00:07:03.800 You know, it just makes no sense. Why can't they just have a detente and every country lowers their tariffs to zero?
00:07:09.120 That was the whole point of this. And when you get cheating going on, then you get retaliation.
00:07:13.780 I do believe Trump will probably prevail if you're in China, we'll have to back off on some of those tariffs.
00:07:18.920 It's not fair to our farmers. It's not fair to, you know, our manufacturers and so on when they cheat.
00:07:25.440 So when you look at everything that's going on today between the United States and Canada, you will quickly realize that none of this is an accident.
00:07:32.060 This is all a result of a very well-crafted plan from the liberals in Canada to continue this fight so that they could keep power because power is all they care about.
00:07:43.220 they don't give a damn if canadians are visiting food banks more than ever before
00:07:47.700 if the canadian dollar is you know the canadian peso now and becomes weaker and weaker they don't
00:07:54.020 care if the canadian economy falls apart because at the end of the day they're set up they have
00:07:58.660 everything they need and their families are fine it's you and i regular canadians who will suffer
00:08:03.860 so thanks for watching if you support those videos remember to like and subscribe and i'll
00:08:08.420 keep making more see you in the next one and i know this all too well because i spent my formative
00:08:12.500 years in Canada. I really hope that Alberta sees what's going on and they consider separating.
00:08:19.540 We would love to have you as an ally.
