Summary

An independent Alberta would become a beacon of hope and prosperity for freedom and prosperity across Canada and around the world. The Canada most of the world knew about, which was a country known for its safety, a high standard of living, a strong middle class, and respected across the world, no longer exists.

00:00:00.000 And by the way, when you take away that artificial line that looks like it was done with a ruler,
00:00:05.520 and that's what it was. Some guy sat there years ago and they said,
00:00:08.700 well, when you take away that and you look at that beautiful formation of Canada and the United States,
00:00:16.120 there is no place anywhere in the world that looks like that.
00:00:20.860 What we're talking about tonight is Ottawa overtaxing us.
00:00:27.180 I mentioned that at the beginning of the evening, that our program costs are 70% of all tax dollars.
00:00:35.760 We only collect 40%. Ottawa collects 60%. And then they use political means to transfer it.
00:00:42.220 Alberta, year after year, has $20 to $25 billion that is siphoned out of our system to go to Ottawa
00:00:49.820 so that it can be spent mostly in Quebec, but also in other places that vote liberal.
00:00:54.780 The Canada most of the world knew about, which was a country known for its safety, high standard of living,
00:01:01.920 strong middle class, and respected around the world, no longer exists.
00:01:07.560 That's the unfortunate but self-evident reality many Canadians are forced to contend with nowadays.
00:01:15.320 Out of all Canadians, few are more understanding of this situation than Albertans.
00:01:20.540 The population of this province has seen the writing on the wall for at least a decade.
00:01:27.020 While most of the rest of Canada has been willfully marching into their own demise
00:01:31.560 by electing and re-electing the people responsible for the country's decay,
00:01:37.560 Alberta, as well as Saskatchewan, have rejected socialism overwhelmingly every chance they get.
00:01:44.340 The unfortunate thing is, in Canada, this system was designed to do what it does
00:01:51.420 regardless of what Alberta or Saskatchewan may or may not want.
00:01:55.720 This has been the reality for over 100 years, and it seems that finally a large enough group of Westerners
00:02:02.700 have had enough and are ready to break the chains.
00:02:06.400 Let's get into it.
00:02:07.720 If you support these videos, please like and subscribe. I appreciate it.
00:02:12.700 So if Alberta was to secede from Ottawa, shall we say, and almost, if you want to say,
00:02:20.280 maybe become the 51st state of the United States, that's going to change things in a fundamental way, isn't it?
00:02:26.920 It'll collapse Canada, Jim. I'll give you an example.
00:02:29.180 In the province that I'm in, in Nova Scotia on Canada's east coast, we have, I believe, a $17 billion budget.
00:02:34.940 And I think $4 billion, a little over $4 billion, comes in transfer payments from Alberta.
00:02:39.580 If transfer payments from Alberta are gone and they leave, the Maritimes will collapse financially.
00:02:44.900 Quebec can't sustain itself. Ontario will be just as bad.
00:02:48.940 So if they go, the country goes. It's that simple.
00:02:52.380 So that's why I'm not overstating it when I say this is a battle for the soul of Canada right now, this election.
00:02:59.420 If anybody stands to gain the most from independence, it's Alberta's younger generation.
00:03:05.800 Right now, they're stuck with the fallout of Canada's broken system.
00:03:10.380 Owning a house? Forget it.
00:03:12.900 A decent job? Not when businesses are rewarded for hiring cheap foreign workers.
00:03:19.020 And the jobs they do get? Barely cover rent and food, let alone building a future.
00:03:24.520 It's no wonder so many are fed up. Independence actually offers a way out.
00:03:30.580 Lower taxes, less immigration, the deportation of illegal immigrants, and a cost of living that doesn't require you to sell a kidney to survive.
00:03:39.560 Of course, Canada's ruling class isn't going to just let Alberta walk away.
00:03:43.900 They'll pull every dirty trick in the book.
00:03:46.800 Because keeping Alberta shackled means keeping the cash flowing to the east.
00:03:51.040 But history shows us, from Brexit to the velvet divorce, when people want freedom badly enough, nothing can stop them.
00:04:00.200 Let's go to this gentleman.
00:04:02.460 Good evening.
00:04:05.280 On April 28th, the federal liberals secured a majority government from the rest of Canada by attacking Alberta's best customer, America and Alberta's resource industries.
00:04:13.680 We all know that there's only one way to change equalization, and that is to get out of the country.
00:04:18.560 The good news for many of us is that that victory has led to a resurgence of Western alienation and renewed calls for Alberta's independence.
00:04:27.220 The Alberta Prosperity Project have hundreds of thousands of folks signed up to sign a petition to force a referendum on separation.
00:04:34.020 My sense is that the plurality of Albertans are already committed to voting, yes to leaving.
00:04:38.760 Don't wait for the people of Alberta to force your government to schedule a referendum.
00:04:42.220 Millions of people are watching from around the world, hoping and praying that Alberta will become a sovereign nation, which will quickly become a beacon of hope and a blueprint for freedom and prosperity, lovers across Canada and around the world.
00:04:54.820 Will you, Premier Smith, schedule a referendum vote for May 1st, 2026?
00:04:59.460 I don't even consider myself to be Canadian anymore.
00:05:05.980 An independent Alberta would look very much the way it looks now.
00:05:10.020 Only people would have a lot more freedom and would have a lot more financial wealth and well-being staying in their pockets.
00:05:18.260 The Alberta independence movement is growing.
00:05:21.200 How many people would like Alberta to become an independent, sovereign, commonwealth nation?
00:05:26.520 We're fed up, we've had enough, we want the hell out, and we vote to form a separate country.
00:05:34.860 I mean, most of us are primarily interested right now in an independent Alberta.
00:05:39.220 There's a lot of people interested in pursuing statehood.
00:05:41.820 My mind is extremely open in that regard.
00:05:44.160 But, you know, like any relationship, let's get out of Canada, right?
00:05:48.020 And then we can discuss whether we want to join a rebound country later.
00:05:51.340 The beautiful thing I've noticed about this movement for Alberta independence is that the more the liberals and the woke left try to discredit or undermine it, the more it seems to grow.
00:06:03.540 I've been reporting on this subject almost exclusively for several months, and I can tell you, with firsthand knowledge, that the support and progress has nearly doubled since I first talked about Alberta independence.
00:06:15.380 The education effort of organizations like the Alberta Prosperity Project and other pro-Alberta groups is clearly paying off.
00:06:24.300 The more people learn, the more they realize it is time for Alberta to become an independent nation.
00:06:30.540 Not only will it abandon the decay and degradation that the rest of Canada is experiencing, but it will thrive, completely unshackled from Ottawa's regulatory regime.
00:06:42.820 Get her done, Alberta.
00:06:43.840 Go ahead.
00:06:45.420 Okay, I got cut off before on the CPP thing.
00:06:49.320 I just wanted to say to those that are outside screaming about the CPP and those that are questioning and hear about your CPP,
00:06:57.260 just remember you're all here because we're questioning the fact that they're ripping us off in every aspect of life,
00:07:03.060 so you want to trust them with your CPP, too.
00:07:05.860 It just makes no sense.
00:07:06.920 And my last comment is this, and it's quick.
00:07:11.920 We talk Senate, we talk federal government, and the one thing that we forgot about is the Privy Council,
00:07:17.520 where the majority of all of those positions are unelected and all work for themselves and each other.
00:07:22.180 So why are we asking permission anymore when we are being held hostage by a rogue government?
00:07:27.820 Every topic tonight talks about Alberta being ripped off, and as we sit here talking day after day,
00:07:32.780 more and more theft is happening from Albertans, and more West-crushing bills are passing from that rogue, corrupt system.
00:07:38.840 When is enough enough, and Albertans stand up to just say no to everything once and for all,
00:07:44.800 and show the entire country where they would be without Albertans, hardworking Albertans' money,
00:07:50.400 and when do we finally get a government who stops talking about it all,
00:07:53.980 stands up behind those Albertans and tells a rogue federal government to pound sand?
00:07:58.220 Hey, if you've made it this far, thank you so much for watching.
