In collaboration with the European Union, Canada launches its national social credit score today.
00:00:14.080
Several arrested today for violating Canada's Online Harms Act terror.
00:00:22.140
Breaking. RCMP continue firearm confiscation raids across Ontario and Quebec.
00:00:28.460
You know, as much as that clip we just watched is obviously AI, and the statements made seem a little exaggerated and over the top,
00:00:36.460
the fact of the matter is that all of these events are possible in Canada at the rate this country is going.
00:00:42.600
Hell, some of them are actually happening as we speak.
00:00:46.240
Take the Liberal Online Harms Act as an example,
00:00:49.700
which is basically the Canadian government's latest attempt to police speech under the guise of protecting people from so-called harm.
00:00:57.240
giving government bureaucrats and corrupt politicians the power to control what you can and cannot say online.
00:01:04.720
And then you have Canada's gun confiscation effort, what they call the buyback program,
00:01:10.240
where they're banning legally owned firearms, most of which were never involved in any crimes,
00:01:15.420
and then they say they're going to buy them back with their own taxpayers' money.
00:01:18.880
And it's not like you can opt out of the program and say, no thanks.
00:01:27.020
They're disarming, low-abiding citizens while doing nothing to reduce actual crime.
00:01:32.140
No wonder Alberta wants to separate from this mess.
00:01:34.580
Central Canada actually expects us to just keep taking and taking it.
00:01:46.860
I mean, I don't understand how they think that they can continue to abuse us,
00:01:52.780
You know, they think we're upset because we lost one election in, you know, this year.
00:01:59.960
That election is kind of like the straw that broke the camel's back for many people.
00:02:06.380
But for many people, that opened their eyes to the fact that we've been, you know,
00:02:09.500
abused by Central Canada and by the federal government for several decades.
00:02:12.520
And we've been trying to make changes, as I mentioned,
00:02:14.320
and those changes would never be implemented because it means Central Canada losing power.
00:02:18.380
And so people have been very upset, you know, with Central Canada and the federal government
00:02:25.580
You know, it hasn't been consistent support for separatism since that time.
00:02:30.780
But Pierre Trudeau created it, and his policies, especially the National Energy Program,
00:02:34.820
gave it credibility because it was because of the National Energy Program
00:02:37.980
that people, that the support for independence in Alberta
00:02:41.120
went from being just a single-digit support to double-digit support since that time.
00:02:45.220
The notion from some people that Alberta wants to separate
00:02:49.440
just because the Conservatives lost is laughably shallow.
00:02:52.740
The desire for independence isn't some knee-jerk tantrum.
00:02:57.320
It's the boiling point of decades of being ignored, milked for resources,
00:03:01.900
and treated like the unwanted cousins in Confederation.
00:03:05.440
From the National Energy Program in the 80s to today's carbon taxes and pipeline blockades,
00:03:14.700
To them, Alberta's only good for cash, nothing more.
00:03:18.200
The latest election was just a final slap in the face,
00:03:25.400
It's working exactly as designed, just not for Albertans.

And know that fundamentally, who we are and the value of our worth,
00:03:59.620
not just as individuals, but as a province and our resources.
00:04:02.800
So if we work together, as we work as individuals as well,
00:04:07.140
we have the opportunity to methodically help others.
00:04:21.860
And we're already in the bag or the can, like we're voting.
00:04:32.080
Don't try and convince them in the first discussion.
00:04:37.640
Pascal said, people are far more persuaded by ideas that come to them on their own
00:04:48.800
So what would happen if we could sell the trillion dollars worth of oil and gas we have?
00:04:58.320
How many thousands of millions of dollars is that?
00:05:01.340
Help people understand the opportunity that's before them as Albertans.
00:05:13.280
Most countries in the world don't have a legal mechanism with which a region or portion of
00:05:18.620
their country can pursue their independence from the rest of it.
00:05:22.120
When separation and secession movements happen in most nations, it has usually been achieved
00:05:27.280
by power and force, where the mother country tries to subjugate and crush the movement while
00:05:33.280
the secessionists fight to attain their independence.
00:05:38.080
A good example is the Czech Republic and Slovakia, which were previously called Czechoslovakia.
00:05:44.520
Their separation was accomplished without any violent conflict.
00:05:48.640
Alberta happens to have one of those exceptional situations, where Canada has a mechanism within
00:05:53.960
its constitution that allows the legal separation of a province from the rest of the country.
00:05:59.480
This does not mean that Canada won't do everything in its power to try to block Alberta's efforts.
00:06:09.600
Now the work begins to educate those who can be convinced about the benefits of Alberta independence.
00:06:15.640
Like Keith said, there's a percentage of the population who simply cannot be convinced.
00:06:24.400
But then there's those in the middle who can be persuaded.
00:06:30.280
I think there's some real issues with, you know, I think the Premier said she's giving,
00:06:35.860
And I think it's pretty clear that Carney's not going to be coming through and giving Premier
00:06:39.400
Smith whatever she wants, or anything that she wants.
00:06:42.280
So it'll be interesting to see where we're at four months from now in the context of Premier
00:06:47.780
I'm very clear on the fact that she understands that the overwhelming majority of her membership
00:06:53.320
support independence and that the UCP, regardless of her position, saying that, you know, a strong
00:07:00.260
Alberta within Canada, you know, is her position.
00:07:03.460
It's not the position of the majority of her membership.
00:07:07.140
And, you know, that that's something that she's going to have to be concerned about on a
00:07:11.900
And do you see the recent by-election results in Old Stisbury Three Hills as an early indicator
00:07:23.100
You know, I mean, I know all the people involved, but they're not APP.
00:07:27.380
And, you know, their goal was to form another political party.
00:07:30.800
Our goal is to educate people and get people thinking about an independent Alberta.
00:07:34.320
At this point in time, prior to when we even know what the referendum question is, let alone
00:07:39.580
when we've had a referendum, I'm just not sure there's a lot of appetite for a separatist
00:07:44.560
I think that what we're looking at right now is whether people believe that the United
00:07:48.480
Conservative Party is the party that represents their conservative interests.
00:07:52.560
And I think that Old Stisbury Three Hills, perhaps the most conservative riding in the
00:07:55.620
province, would say that Alberta conservatives want to support the UCP.
00:07:59.660
Well, the separatist or the independence party won, the UCP won.
00:08:03.980
Sixty-five percent of the membership of UCP is pro-independence.
00:08:07.440
So, you know, I think it was more a testament to, you know, Premier Smith's continued popularity
00:08:13.400
in Alberta and, you know, the degree to which Cam Davies, you know, was a weak candidate.
00:08:19.120
Hey guys, I just wanted to do a quick video and give a shout out to one of my favorite
00:08:38.480
Actually, I just actually got this hat from his merchandise on his YouTube page.
00:09:05.900
Special thanks to those of you who have donated to this project.
00:09:08.880
It is much appreciated and it helps me continue making videos.
