00:00:00.000 freedom hope prosperity for our children for their futures because right now in canada it's
00:00:04.880 a sinking ship and if we don't take our little lifeboat and throw it out and get off all we can
00:00:09.120 we're going down with the ship all right here's the big headline saskatchewan just officially
00:00:14.000 joined alberta in the fight for independence and the referendum vote is set for 2026.
00:00:23.600 that's right we've got two provinces now
00:00:26.400 saying they're completely done with being the piggy bank for the rest of canada
00:00:30.800 and we don't have to we are giving away so much money to ottawa we're so controlled
00:00:35.600 we're losing our freedoms let's lay it out plain and simple alberta and saskatchewan are the two
00:00:41.360 workhorses of this country per capita they give more than they receive they generate wealth which
00:00:48.080 is then redistributed around the country and what do they get in return absolutely zero
00:00:54.720 in equalization payments meanwhile provinces like quebec and even ontario are cashing in on
00:01:00.400 that sweet equalization money which is basically the canadian government taking money from hard
00:01:06.320 working provinces and giving it as a socialist bribe to the lazy ones while alberta and saskatchewan
00:01:13.520 foot the bill of course it's institutionalized communism basically could parts of canada though
00:01:21.520 become the 51st state of the union i mean is he that far off let's think about this the people of
00:01:25.840 the canadian province of alberta appear to be super fed up with the new canadian government and
00:01:30.800 they're pushing for independence in one area especially this guy mark carney was voted in as
00:01:35.280 their new pm and he is awful okay keep in mind alberta is considered like the texas of canada
00:01:40.400 they are way more conservative way more limited government and produce the overwhelming amount of
00:01:46.320 the country's commodities like timber and oil and a bunch of other stuff so the federal government of
00:01:51.040 canada is just like basically pooping their pants because they realize that they can't fund any of
00:01:56.000 their big government programs without the revenue from the resources of that area cameron davies the
00:02:02.320 leader of the republican party of alberta and also one of the people helping lead the charge for
00:02:07.200 alberta's independence dude i really hope this goes through we do too we're working hard uh convincing
00:02:13.600 hearts and minds for far too long we've been held hostage by the ottawa elites and it's time for that
00:02:19.360 relationship to end it's abusive it's toxic we want out texas was a great republic alberta is going to
00:02:24.320 be a great republic as well now here's the irony in all of this elections in canada are pretty much
00:02:30.240 decided east of manitoba by the time you hit the manitoba ontario border the game's already over
00:02:37.760 westerners have felt ignored and alienated for decades because their vote just doesn't count in
00:02:43.040 the big picture in a hall near saskatoon over 200 people have come to hear from the saskatchewan
00:02:49.040 prosperity project a group promoting saskatchewan's independence from canada the group's president brad
00:02:55.760 williams focuses on western alienation and what he says are the economic and political benefits of
00:03:02.240 separation now let's talk about what just happened recently as an example we've had not one but two
00:03:09.520 federal conservative members of parliament cross the floor to join the liberals that's right the
00:03:14.880 very people that albertans and the people of saskatchewan thought might have their back just
00:03:18.960 switch sides and that just goes to show that there's no cavalry or heroes coming to save us from
00:03:24.560 ottawa the system is set up to milk alberta and saskatchewan dry without giving them a real say
00:03:30.720 it's basically taxation without representation the same kind of deal that sparked the american revolution
00:03:37.760 and now it's happening right here in modern day canada you produce the oil you produce timber you
00:03:43.360 are the the production center ironically more conservative there and yet you have the liberal
00:03:49.280 coastal elites being like no no no you guys owe us all this stuff they consume you produce and you said
00:03:55.360 stop taking my guns i got to defend myself against polar bears and now you're out for far too long we've
00:04:00.160 been taken advantage of we've we've paid the bills and we've been treated like second-class citizens
00:04:04.960 you know taxation without representation two uh two votes in alberta have the same weight as one vote
00:04:11.840 in nova scotia it's time for that to end we have unfair representation we pay the bills and we're
00:04:17.920 tired of our rights being trampled on whether that be from covid to second amendment which we don't have
00:04:22.400 yet but we're going to fight for that right our firearms rights protecting yourself your family
00:04:27.200 the republican party of alberta believes in faith family and freedom and we're going to fight for that
00:04:30.560 every step of the way and what like everybody talks about you know these things happening uh we've
00:04:35.440 even had states want to like join other states and things like that here in america but it never
00:04:39.600 actually happens what are the odds this actually happens i can tell you it will happen there are
00:04:44.560 only two ingredients there are only two ingredients for independence and that's will of the people
00:04:50.240 and international recognition albertans will fight for their independence we will vote for
00:04:54.560 independence and as soon as we vote for that independence we need nations like the united states
00:04:59.040 like our like our friends and allies and freedom loving countries all around the world to recognize
00:05:03.680 our independence as an independent republic and that's why the alberta independence movement is
00:05:08.160 only growing we've got bill 14 passing which means albertans can start collecting signatures for a
00:05:14.640 2026 referendum and now saskatchewan is holding town halls with this saskatchewan prosperity project
00:05:21.760 with hundreds of people showing up ready to talk about what an independent saskatchewan
00:05:26.480 could look like people are realizing they don't have to go down with a sinking ship canada as it
00:05:32.720 stands is looking more and more like that ship and albertans saskatchewan have a chance to steer
00:05:38.800 their own course all right but that you're not the only ones all of a sudden you make all this noise
00:05:43.200 and you're like and all these other people are like hey we produce stuff too and we pay a ton of
00:05:47.040 taxes that don't go back to our thing saskatchewan a group is also meaning to uh you know look for
00:05:52.640 their own independence they lose you guys in saskatchewan it's over for canada we'll bring
00:05:58.080 saskatchewan along with us uh they're they're they're just like albertans yeah uh and uh and we
00:06:03.520 have we have so much in common they're like they're like our little brother to the east and we'll take
00:06:07.200 them along with us yeah i mean that is you're talking about montreal and places like that gonna
00:06:11.520 be totally screwed the saskatchewan prosperity project is following in the footsteps of the alberta
00:06:17.040 prosperity project over the last five weeks williams has held public education sessions in
00:06:22.640 close to 10 communities around the province including swift current prince albert and meadow lake
00:06:28.560 key talking points include equalization payments canola tariffs and immigration
00:06:33.360 people we spoke to at this meeting say they want some kind of change recently through covid
00:06:38.800 and through a lot of mistrust that i have in the current government i'm interested in looking at
00:06:43.200 ways that we can become more resourceful more independent i was really happy to see the big
00:06:47.440 crowd out tonight it was excellent to see a lot of enthusiasm i talked to a lot of people after as
00:06:53.440 they were leaving and uh they're ready to get involved they're ready to get into their community
00:06:57.760 they're ready to start uh forming chapters in their small towns so here's the bottom line this fight
00:07:04.400 for independence isn't just some pipe dream it's real it's a growing movement fueled by people who are
00:07:11.360 tired of being taken for granted keep your eyes on 2026 because that's when the big decisions will be
00:07:17.440 made and remember we're just getting started stay tuned and we'll keep you posted every step of the way
