00:00:00.000 We can create so much wealth in this province.
00:00:03.600 It's a last-minute Christmas gift for a movement seeking Alberta independence.
00:00:07.700 Its petition for a referendum on separating from Canada has been approved.
00:00:11.900 In a hall near Saskatoon, over 200 people have come to hear from the Saskatchewan Prosperity Project,
00:00:18.640 a group promoting Saskatchewan's independence from Canada.
00:00:22.300 The group's president, Brad Williams, focuses on Western alienation.
00:00:26.340 Freedom, hope, prosperity for our children, for their futures.
00:00:30.300 Because right now in Canada it's a sinking ship and if we don't take our little lifeboat and throw it out and get off while we can, we're going down with the ship.
00:00:37.340 Do they want to have their say in a third referendum?
00:00:40.480 And if they do, are they ready for the emotions that would come with it?
00:00:45.060 I had that feeling that the story was to be completed, that it was a trilogy that would end well.
00:00:52.900 The U.S. administration is very enthusiastic about Alberta independence.
00:00:58.220 What does next year have in store for you?
00:01:00.560 Next year is going to be busy.
00:01:03.040 There are three stories developing simultaneously in this country in 2026.
00:01:09.720 These are stories that signal the complete and total breakup of the country known as Canada.
00:01:15.460 And the end of North America as we know it.
00:01:18.040 This isn't a theory, this isn't a what-if, this is happening right now.
00:01:24.260 In Alberta, a citizen-led petition has been approved, opening the door to a real referendum on independence.
00:01:31.400 Not a protest, not a rally, a real legal path.
00:01:36.000 In Quebec, the party Quebecois is leading in the polls, and they promised yet another referendum to leave Canada.
00:01:44.280 And in Saskatchewan, something new has formed.
00:01:47.900 Town halls, meetings, and a growing movement asking a question Canada never wanted asked.
00:01:54.600 Would Saskatchewan be better off independent?
00:01:57.380 Three provinces, three directions, and one country coming apart at the seams.
00:02:03.060 And what's coming next in 2026 is going to catch a lot of people completely unprepared.
00:02:09.880 Let's get into it.
00:02:13.840 So the first of these three stories begins in Alberta, Canada's oil capital.
00:02:20.660 Canada's Texas, the province that is the economic engine of Canada and produces the highest per capita GDP of the entire country.
00:02:30.180 In this province, Albertans are tired of being taken advantage of, and they've now officially moved towards a referendum.
00:02:38.940 A petition has finally been approved, and signature collection will begin as soon as January 2nd.
00:02:45.980 Let's have a listen to this report.
00:02:47.640 A referendum on whether Alberta should separate from Canada is one step closer today.
00:02:52.600 The province's election agency has approved a citizen-led petition to gather signatures on the issue.
00:02:59.020 Now, a potential referendum would seek a yes or no answer to the question,
00:03:04.440 do you agree that the province of Alberta should cease to be a part of Canada to become an independent state?
00:03:10.880 The Alberta Prosperity Project, the group behind that petition, now has four months to sign up 178,000 supporters and appoint a financial officer.
00:03:20.820 The second story that's going to be one to pay attention to in 2026 is what's happening in Saskatchewan with the Saskatchewan Prosperity Project.
00:03:29.580 Now, the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan go hand in hand.
00:03:33.480 They're the closest provinces in Canada.
00:03:36.460 They're very close in ideology, both conservative provinces, both with Christian values.
00:03:42.560 And as Alberta goes, Saskatchewan will likely follow.
00:03:48.140 And this is true here.
00:03:49.700 The people of Saskatchewan have now created the Saskatchewan Prosperity Project,
00:03:54.920 which is pursuing, just like the Alberta Prosperity Project,
00:03:59.120 pursuing Saskatchewan sovereignty,
00:04:02.380 separating from Canada because they believe their province would be better off leaving the mess that is today's Canada.
00:04:09.800 Let's have a listen to this report.
00:04:13.140 In a hall near Saskatoon, over 200 people have come to hear from the Saskatchewan Prosperity Project,
00:04:19.460 a group promoting Saskatchewan's independence from Canada.
00:04:23.100 The group's president, Brad Williams, focuses on Western alienation
00:04:27.140 and what he says are the economic and political benefits of separation.
00:04:31.940 Freedom, hope, prosperity for our children.
00:04:34.220 That's it, freedom.
00:04:35.160 Because right now in Canada, it's a sinking ship.
00:04:37.680 And if we don't take our little lifeboat and throw it out and get off all we can,
00:04:41.220 we're going down with the ship.
00:04:42.520 And we don't have to.
00:04:43.820 We are giving away so much money to Ottawa.
00:04:45.980 We're so controlled.
00:04:47.400 We're losing our freedoms.
00:04:48.780 Truer words haven't been spoken.
00:04:51.400 Freedom.
00:04:52.560 Canada no longer represents freedom.
00:04:55.060 It is a country.
00:04:56.040 It's a managerial country.
00:04:57.740 Where you are told what to do.
00:05:01.220 Where if you do or say the wrong thing, you may end up in jail, end up fined.
00:05:07.000 If you have a protest that the government doesn't agree with, your bank account may end up frozen.
00:05:12.380 That is the country that Canada has become.
00:05:14.640 And Alberta, as well as Saskatchewan, have now realized that we would be much better off independent.
00:05:21.460 The third story that will spell the end of Canada in 2026, it's what's happening in Quebec.
00:05:28.960 The party Quebecois is leading in the polls by over 20 points.
00:05:33.840 And the particularity of this party is the fact that they're the ones who have called two referendums on separating from Canada.
00:05:42.580 One in the 80s and one in the 90s.
00:05:45.660 And in the 90s, they came very close to that 50% plus one majority.
00:05:51.460 The party Quebecois has promised that they're going to be calling another referendum as soon as they win the election.
00:05:58.020 And it's looking like they're going to be winning the election in 2026.
00:06:02.540 Let's have a listen to this report.
00:06:11.700 Quebec is important to us.
00:06:13.480 We don't want our country broken up.
00:06:15.420 So that's the 90s.
00:06:17.400 There you go.
00:06:18.120 October 30th, 1995.
00:06:21.460 That's when they came incredibly close to 50%.
00:06:39.340 And I think it was the vote was 50.5 to stay a part of Canada and 49.5 to leave.
00:06:49.040 Unbelievably close.
00:06:50.220 The victory of the no-sight was by a razor-thin margin.
00:07:09.000 Razor-thin.
00:07:09.740 And the debate on the province's independence was far from over.
00:07:12.960 Like other Quebeceries who voted in 1995, I still remember that day.
00:07:28.000 But what about those born after 1977 who couldn't vote back then?
00:07:33.260 Do they want to have their say in a third referendum?
00:07:36.820 And if they do, are they ready for the emotions that would come with it?
00:07:41.420 I had that feeling that the story was to be completed.
00:07:46.560 That it was a trilogy that would end well.
00:07:50.240 But the second part was indeed a huge disappointment.
00:07:54.020 So this is what's happening in Canada as of 2026.
00:07:56.980 We have three monumental stories taking place.
00:08:00.760 Three provinces that are as serious as it gets about becoming independent from Canada.
00:08:06.500 Particularly in Alberta.
00:08:07.720 Because everybody's known for a long time that Quebec has wanted to separate.
00:08:11.020 At least a big chunk of the people in Quebec have been wanting to separate from Canada for a while.
00:08:16.680 They speak French, they have their own culture, they have their own politics, they have a lot of independence within Canada already.
00:08:22.420 But a lot, a big portion of their population has been wanting to be their own country for a while now.
00:08:29.040 The Alberta independence movement, however, has now taken the spotlight because we are literally headed to the first ever referendum in any other part of Canada outside of Quebec.
00:08:43.040 Albertans have finally had enough and a movement has grown rapidly.
00:08:49.620 Very quickly has the Alberta independence movement taken over the spotlight from the Quebec independence movement.
00:08:56.460 Signature collection for the petition for said referendum is going to begin on January the 2nd.
00:09:01.940 So things are getting incredibly real in Canada when it comes to the breakup of this country.
00:09:08.820 So what do you think?
00:09:09.500 Do you think Canada will still be a country by the end of this decade?
00:09:12.420 I personally give Canada another five years.
00:09:15.900 I don't think it'll still be a country by 2030.
00:09:19.440 But let me know what you think.
00:09:21.220 Tell me your thoughts in the comments.
