PJ The Belt - Trump Just Put The FINAL NAIL on Canada's Coffin..

00:00:00.000 First of all, for the Canadians, and we have many dear friends in Canada, and of course,

00:00:04.340 we love the Canadian people, but the Canadian leadership threatening retaliatory tariffs

00:00:08.740 against the United States, as President Trump often says, they just don't have the cards.

00:00:13.320 And we have all the cards. We have every single one. We don't want to do anything bad, but

00:00:17.500 economically, we have such power over Canada. So I said, we're going to stop all negotiations

00:00:24.320 with Canada right now until they straighten out their act. No deal for Canada. President Trump

00:00:31.580 has dropped the hammer and basically told the liberal government in Canada that they're not

00:00:35.940 getting a deal anytime soon. This all comes shortly after President Trump canceled all

00:00:42.000 negotiations with this country due to some anti-tariff ads being purchased by the government

00:00:47.700 of Ontario. Doug Ford apparently thought it was a good idea to attack the person that you're trying

00:00:53.460 to negotiate with.

00:00:54.460 Go ahead.

00:00:55.460 Mr. President, July 6th is coming fast.

00:00:57.460 How confident are you that you'll be able to renew the USNCA, and what more do you expect

00:01:03.460 from Canada at this point?

00:01:04.460 Well, I'm not looking to renew it.

00:01:05.460 I don't, you know, I mean, I made the deal, and the primary reason I made the deal is

00:01:09.460 that NAFTA was the worst trade deal I've ever seen.

00:01:11.460 Yeah.

00:01:12.460 And I made it better, but I had the right to terminate.

00:01:14.460 And, you know, with NAFTA, we didn't have the right to terminate.

00:01:17.460 I had to get these senators to approve that deal.

00:01:19.460 that was a tough thing congressman too nafta had no termination so i mean i've never said this

00:01:26.980 before but i'll tell you what my thinking was nafta was a disaster for our country the worst

00:01:32.660 trade deal ever made by far you know they had typos in okay and they were supposed to correct

00:01:39.220 them and they never corrected them when they were signed they knew there were typos and there's a

00:01:44.500 process for that you state your claim and you know you get a change they had typos on percentages

00:01:51.140 or maybe somebody wrote and that was for years they never ran they had horrible all against us

00:01:58.820 so it probably wasn't typos they never nafta was the worst trade deal we ever had usmca did one

00:02:05.140 thing that i loved after six years it comes up for renewal i don't know that i'm going to renew it

00:02:13.140 Because, to be honest with you, the United States is much better.

00:02:18.720 We don't need anything that Canada has.

00:02:20.880 We don't need anything that Mexico has.

00:02:22.460 But they need everything that we have.

00:02:24.940 And they have to treat us better.

00:02:26.620 You know, with Mexico and Canada, we have trade deficits.

00:02:31.060 We should have surpluses with them.

00:02:33.360 We don't need their cars. 0.86

00:02:34.720 We don't need their lumber.

00:02:35.800 We don't need their energy.

00:02:36.900 We don't need anything that they have.

00:02:39.520 So the primary thing that I got, it was a much better deal than NAFTA.

00:02:43.140 Much, much better. It was sort of a good deal, but it was a great deal for one reason

00:02:48.360 It gave the right to terminate and who would have thought that I was you know

00:02:52.640 They just didn't want to have it during the four-year period when I was president. So

00:02:57.760 Now they made it so that I wouldn't be president and because they rigged the election the second

00:03:04.220 Election as you probably hear and probably know most of you know that happened and now it's been proven and it will be proven

00:03:11.060 time goes by even more so we have things that you won't believe when we release the full files

00:03:15.300 you're not going to believe how crooked the second the 2020 election was but

00:03:19.620 who would have thought that it comes due in my term i mean this was thank you very much

00:03:27.540 so uh it was very important that we be able to do that so we're talking to them we'll see if

00:03:32.740 we do something the united states just issued a final warning to canada and no this is not just

00:03:39.700 another little trade dispute this is the american government basically saying we are done playing

00:03:45.380 games with mark carney u.s officials at the highest level have clearly lost patience for canada and

00:03:51.220 america now sees canada as a hostile and broken partnership right beside china think about that

00:03:57.220 for a second canada on their globalist mark carney is now being talked about in the same breath as

00:04:02.900 china when it comes to loyalty and trade frictions with the united states and the sad part is regular

00:04:09.140 canadians are going to pay the price for this not because they asked for it at least not all of them

00:04:14.580 but because the liberal government keeps speaking fights with our biggest customer our most

00:04:19.220 important relationship while flirting with the very regimes america is trying to destroy

00:04:25.140 hi premier laura stone globe and mail uh it's our understanding that the white house had voiced

00:04:31.380 a lot of concerns and frustrations about the fact that you were holding event with the u.s

00:04:35.460 chamber of commerce that was then cancelled in in dc what do you make of the fact that the

00:04:42.020 white house the u.s administration seems to have such a deep dislike for you and do you think that

00:04:46.660 your interventions make any difference well you know something i i just uh love the american

00:04:52.820 people i love the u.s i've said it a thousand times no matter what broadcast i'm on uh the

00:04:57.860 reception i get when i go down there is second to none if the president feels for one reason or

00:05:04.180 another uh you know he made his comments to the chamber i can tell you ross perot jr he's a class

00:05:10.920 act and we'll we'll reschedule it at a at a later date but uh you're gonna have to ask the uh the

00:05:18.160 chamber if that's if that's the case premier you had a first minister's meeting with prime minister

00:05:23.800 carney before this meeting with the governor uh could you discuss what what prime minister carney

00:05:29.100 told you about the state of kuzma talks well they're ongoing they're they're going to continue

00:05:33.760 negotiating they're going to negotiate in good faith and I think we'll we are

00:05:38.960 going to get through this the question is when are we going to get through it

00:05:41.940 when I was down in Washington the number one item is the uncertainty people want

00:05:47.880 certainty they want stability when we have certainty and stability in both

00:05:51.720 countries you're going to see jobs we're going to see investment and product

00:05:56.180 and production increases lower cost of goods that that's what was going to

00:06:01.160 happen once we get this deal we're going to see the economies grow the likes of

00:06:05.560 which either one of these countries have ever seen so he's focused on that and

00:06:10.940 he's encouraged all the premiers and we're doing this to go down continue

00:06:15.540 building relationships with governors and senators and Congress people and

00:06:20.060 that's that's the reason we're here today we're great allies we're always

00:06:25.280 going to be great allies will be great allies for the Commonwealth of

00:06:29.960 Pennsylvania. I've had an opportunity, as Governor Shapiro said, as soon as I met the governor in

00:06:37.600 Quebec, we hit it off immediately. He's a true leader. He does an incredible job for the people

00:06:42.860 of Pennsylvania, and God willing, he's going to continue doing that for many years to come.

00:06:49.400 Did the Prime Minister, just to follow up, Premier, did the Prime Minister

00:06:52.800 express his concern to you, the Premiers, about what Mr. Trump said this morning?

00:06:58.940 Not necessarily. We've heard, you know, these comments from President Trump in the past.

00:07:05.320 We need to stay focused. We need to continue moving the ball down the field.

00:07:10.100 And I'll tell you one thing. I met a lot of Democrats and Republicans on my quick visit.

00:07:17.840 Every one of them are saying, we got to get this done. We have to start moving.

00:07:23.100 Because when you have uncertainty, investment gets stalled.

00:07:26.260 and when investment gets stalled so do jobs get stalled prices go up inflation starts happening

00:07:32.480 so we we believe that we need to get this done as soon as possible and have all the confidence

00:07:39.000 and governor shapiro and other governors across across the u.s that they're going to voice their

00:07:45.940 opinion along with the senators and congress people remember youtube doesn't like conservative

00:07:50.700 channels like this one but if you do remember to like and subscribe it's completely free and

00:07:55.960 helps me continue bringing you these updates and these reports. I'll see you in the next one. Peace.
