00:00:01.000A real frontline patriot brings you his one-of-a-kind perspective on freedom versus tyranny.
00:00:08.860This is the world premiere of the Political Prisoner Podcast, powered by Gateway Pundit.
00:00:15.160Now, live from solitary confinement, here's your host, January Sixer, Jake Lang.
00:00:30.000Hello, everyone. We're back with our guest, Dinesh D'Souza. Wow, what a man. I'm so honored
00:00:37.840to have him on my program, the Political Prisoner Podcast. Dinesh is the founder and the creator of
00:00:44.100a documentary called 2000 Mules that is mind-blowing. It exposes a lot of the fraud in
00:00:50.280the 2020 election. He also runs a podcast himself that I've been on and that has hundreds of
00:00:56.700thousands of daily listeners. He's one of the biggest conservative proponents in the nation
00:01:01.200and just a great man that stands for liberty and our Constitution in undefiled ways. So,
00:01:08.160Dinesh, how are we doing today, brother? Hey, I'm doing fine. Thanks for having me on the podcast.
00:01:13.880Yeah, God bless you, man. Well, you know, the big thing that's happening right now,
00:01:18.320obviously, is the midterms, and you know how they're trying to tie in January 6th, January 6th,
00:01:23.360January 6th to all of the, you know, kind of stamping on some of these more outspoken conservative
00:01:29.820candidates. I've seen multiple commercials here from my prison in Rappahannock, my ninth prison
00:01:35.660that they brought me towards now about, you know, they're showing images of January 6th and kind of
00:01:42.740branding different conservative leaders and Republican forerunners as extremists and whatnot.
00:01:48.820Now, what do you think about tying January 6th to the Republican kind of more conservatives, more Trump MAGA-style Republican forerunners?
00:01:59.020Do you think that that's a good move for the Democrats, or do you think it's a bad move?
00:02:03.060Well, I saw an interesting article just yesterday or the day before that basically said that the two big themes that the Democrats have been pushing in the election,
00:02:13.400that the Republicans are extreme and that the Republicans are, quote,
00:02:19.920the election deniers and the insurrection supporters,
00:02:25.080these themes are not really resonating with the American people.
00:02:30.700In fact, even on the issue of election integrity,
00:02:35.100the Republicans are running modestly ahead of the Democrats.
00:02:39.340And see, the Democrats think that's their like slam dunk issue, but it's not. Why? Because A, lots of people do believe that the election was stolen. They certainly believe that you should be able to talk about it. And number two, many people believe that January 6th was a frame up, was a fraud, and it's certainly being over prosecuted.
00:03:03.000So all those things are embedded, I think, in the American psyche. Now, this is not to say that the Democrats can't make hay with those issues in certain precincts, but I think as a nationwide phenomenon, this whole campaign that sort of, yes, we're having an election and it's an exercise in democracy, but one party is, quote, against democracy, this is proving to be a total dud.
00:03:25.560i couldn't agree with you more i think that um the american people got their their eyes peeled
00:03:33.260um for the you know the hypocrisy of the left as far as when joe biden goes up on uh you know
00:03:39.880presidential stages and uh says very extremist leaning things and calling all trump supporters
00:03:45.600semi-fascists and um calling out the macro crowd which is just a red-blooded american
00:03:50.700liberty-minded crowd as enemies to the state and, you know, existential threats to democracy that,
00:03:58.420you know, they're pointing the finger, one finger at the Republicans, but three are pointing back
00:04:03.260at them at this extremist wave. And, you know, American people see right through it. And,
00:04:07.900you know, that's really kind of what this all boils down to is can people, do people believe
00:04:13.660the TV or do they believe what their own eyes are telling them and what reality has? And,
00:04:18.640And, you know, it's podcasts like yours that kind of cut through the noise and give people the truth, the on-the-ground reality, what's happening instead of these spun narratives.
00:04:28.920And you know how much the narrative has been spun around the 2020 election.
00:04:32.980Do you think these midterms, we have a great worry for more types of the nefarious actions with ballot stuffing, social media censorship, all of the myriad of different ways?
00:04:48.340technologically and physically, that the last election was rigged.
00:04:52.100What's your thoughts on this midterm election having those same threats towards it?
00:04:58.600I think, number one, that when you expose something, it's very hard to do it the same way again.
00:05:06.520Because I know even during the Arizona primaries, there were basically patriots camping out at these mail-in ballot drop boxes.
00:05:14.300They were almost like having a tailgate party.
00:05:16.320And it's like, hey, we're waiting for the mules to show up. Let's see if any mules turn up to stuff ballots. So when people are aware nationwide, it's really difficult to deploy the kind of network that was deployed in 2020.
00:05:28.640Now, with regard to January 6th, the Republican Party here has been really derelict, in my opinion, with the exception of a handful of Republicans in the House and really virtually none in the Senate.
00:05:43.220Republicans tend to deal with these issues, whether it's, quote, election denial or whether it's January 6th, by essentially going into hiding under the desk.
00:05:51.500This is a disgrace because, honestly, these are not losing issues.
00:05:55.600These are issues on which when you fight back, I mean, when I started making 2,000 meals, nobody was really talking about election fraud.
00:06:02.340They're afraid they're going to get banned, throw it off YouTube, oh, there's no evidence, it's a big lie, blah, blah, blah.
00:06:08.960But if you sit down and methodically make the case, suddenly you realize it's not a big lie.
00:06:14.320In fact, the real big lie is that this was the most secure election in history.
00:06:19.140I've never seen one iota of evidence showing, demonstrating, proving that this was the most secure election in history, and yet the fact-checkers are okay with it.
00:06:28.960You know, so I think that here the Republican Party needs to take a page from Lincoln and discover the virtue of courage and recognize that if they begin to run, instead of running away, if you run on these issues, you'll find that they can be winners for you.
00:06:45.740uh definitely um you know one of the problems is uh we paint the republican party as this unified
00:06:53.500force like um like the january sixers were i mean that day we were unified and standing up for our
00:06:59.900constitution and free and fair elections and that's a certain ilk of people what we have
00:07:04.360there's still the swamp is still left in the republican party kevin mccarthy seems like he
00:07:08.980may be getting his wits about him a little more um but you know we still have a lot of members in
00:07:14.480the Republican Party that need to be ousted from their Mitch McConnells and people of that nature
00:07:20.320and stuff like that. How do you see the political shift that Donald Trump and the real solid people
00:07:28.640stand up for liberty in this country who have kind of become his supporters and found their way
00:07:33.480around the DeSantis and the MAGA movement? How do you see that shifting in the 2022 midterms as far
00:07:39.660Do you think that the House and the Senate is going to be run by the MAGA crowd, or do you think it's going to be the same old business as Washington, the swamp monsters and the Republican rhinos are still going to be in control, or do you see a shift that's going to actually fundamentally change America?
00:09:13.900But what happened over time is that Reaganism kind of, you may say, infected the entire Republican Party,
00:09:20.020and pretty much everybody became a Reaganite.
00:09:22.480That's what we want to see happen here, not necessarily to kick everybody out, but we want these guys to realize that, hey, listen, this is the way to win.
00:09:30.460This is where the Republican Party is going.
00:09:33.120If you want to be the leader, you better get out in front of your followers.
00:09:41.260I mean, you know, one of the things that is kind of like the meter that I've been using and I know a lot of people in my circle have been using is if somebody is willing to stand behind the January Sixers, call them patriots, say, see the two tier justice system, how we've been treated compared to Hunter Biden and Antifa rioters and anybody that has been protected by the establishment media and by the Democrat Party.
00:10:08.820If the Republicans who are elected in the midterm can come and actually stand behind the January Sixers and speak the truth about the event, an unarmed protest that turned into violence after the police instigated us, that we were there standing up on behalf of our Constitution, free and fair elections, and for liberty for generations, I think that that will be the meter that shows, okay, is the Republican Party shifting into a fighter?
00:10:38.660a party of fighters, party of go-getters, or are they just going to win back power in
00:10:43.800the midterms and then just relax and kind of not try to change anything, keep the status
00:12:39.800You know, the passion has kind of been sucked out of our politics.
00:12:42.940And, you know, people like yourself that are very passionate about what they do, Dinesh, are really helping shift this new generation of patriots and people of great faith, people who love liberty, to come to the forefront and to start running for local school boards and congressmen and women positions.
00:13:00.320And I do see a great field, and I see great potential for America if we can put our faith in God and also support each other and stand on the principles of our Constitution.
00:13:11.540And you're doing great work on your podcast, guys.
00:13:14.080Everybody who's listening to the sound of my voice right now, I want you to go on the Apple Podcast app, Spotify.
