00:00:00.640 Lord, Canada humbly requests divine investment.
00:00:03.520 Jesus Christ.
00:00:04.640 Yes?
00:00:05.280 No, Mark. That was an expression.
00:00:07.680 I reviewed the filings.
00:00:09.440 Earth said no.
00:00:11.200 Elon laughed.
00:00:12.480 Even Mars ghosted you.
00:00:14.320 Canada is leading the sustainable global transition.
00:00:17.200 The world is more divided and dangerous than ever.
00:00:20.320 Mark, humanity survived plagues, world wars, floods, famines, and disco.
00:00:25.600 Spare me the TED Talk apocalypse routine.
00:00:28.080 i gave your country oil gas forests minerals fresh water and america right beside you mark
00:00:34.400 canada used to export oil and wheat now it imports uber drivers diploma mills and 40 people sharing
00:00:41.600 one basement near brampton canada is still attractive for investment mark nobody invests
00:00:47.040 where success gets punished and failure gets subsidized mark if noah had to build the ark in
00:00:52.800 canada everyone would be dead so heaven won't invest in canada no mark then at least give me
00:00:58.560 an mou and mo you memorandum of understanding it doesn't have to do anything canadian media
00:01:03.840 will pretend it's historic ah so basically a press release with hallucinations attached
00:01:09.600 i can't go back empty-handed mark in heaven when deals don't get built we send the file to lucifer
00:01:16.000 mark in heaven we measure success by what gets built not by how many journalists clap at the
00:01:21.840 announcement. Now if you'll excuse me, Trump's waiting downstairs.
00:01:25.920 We're turning Texas into the energy capital of three galaxies while you're still announcing
00:01:30.400 consultations we are absolutely stronger together we're better together we're better people were
00:01:57.100 wealthier together. You know, my colleague Corey Hogan points out, rightly, that median
00:02:03.500 wealth in Canada is 23% higher than the United States.
00:02:06.460 Wrong. Wrong.
00:02:07.820 It's not something people would think, but why is that the case? It's because we take care of each
00:02:11.900 other. It's because we focus on things like affordability, because the people who live here
00:02:16.700 will get childcare. The people who live here will get healthcare. The people who live here will get
00:02:23.100 get high quality education part of the way forward is to name plainly what's broken to say as plainly
00:02:28.780 as possible how we intend to replace it and then do the hard work of building and people are feeling
00:02:33.900 the pressures of everyday life the affordability crisis right now housing is unaffordable
00:02:40.400 in part because we haven't been building affordable housing we're looking to double
00:02:46.340 the pace of affordable housing construction using factory technologies familiar to many of you from
00:02:51.020 Hello, guys, and welcome back to another episode of Maple Syrup and Mayhem with me.
00:02:56.840 Today, we're going to talk about gaslighting and more specifically, the gaslighting industry that we are all unknowingly a part of nowadays.
00:03:04.800 If you don't know what gaslighting is, it is a form of psychological manipulation and or emotional abuse in which a person or a group, a group of people make someone question their own reality, memory, perception, or sanity.
00:03:22.780 It involves deliberate tactics that cause the victim to doubt their own thoughts, feelings, or experiences.
00:03:29.100 The goal is to usually gain power and control over the victim or victims by undermining their
00:03:36.940 competence and making them dependent on the gaslighters version of events. So what are some
00:03:44.240 classic examples of gaslighting? Denying events that clearly happened, like someone may say to
00:03:52.660 you, I never said that, you're imagining things. Trivializing feelings, you're too sensitive,
00:03:58.300 It was just a joke. Countering with false information. That's not what happened or you
00:04:05.640 always get things wrong. Projecting blame. Shifting responsibility so that the victim
00:04:11.260 starts apologizing for things that they didn't do. And isolating the victim. Making them believe
00:04:18.320 that their friends or family are lying to them. Now some big historical examples of the government
00:04:27.020 gaslighting the public would obviously be the COVID-19 public health messaging.
00:04:32.040 We're in the middle of an outbreak. Wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better
00:04:38.280 and it might even block a droplet, but it's not providing the perfect protection that people
00:04:44.940 think that it is. And often there are unintended consequences. People keep fiddling with the mask
00:04:51.740 and they keep touching their face.
00:04:54.420 Governments and health authorities worldwide
00:04:57.080 faced accusations of gaslighting
00:04:59.620 through evolving or contradictory guidance.
00:05:02.580 They faced these accusations,
00:05:04.440 but in reality, they're not really accusations.
00:05:07.560 They are facts that they actually did gaslight everybody.
00:05:11.060 So they said things such as masks don't work.
00:05:14.440 Remember that early in the scandemic?
00:05:17.960 Masks don't work for the public.
00:05:19.400 And then they, of course, followed those up with mask mandates.
00:05:22.980 Of course, they also initially dismissed the lab leak theory as conspiracy.
00:05:29.140 And they, of course, later came out and realized that that was actually the plot or not realized.
00:05:34.660 They already knew.
00:05:35.840 They came out later and said that that is actually what happened.
00:05:40.380 So, again, making you feel like you were crazy for believing that stuff.
00:05:43.800 so those are some like i said that's a not even really that historical but that's a recent example
00:05:51.380 of the government gaslighting us but the thing is is that they're doing this every day especially
00:05:56.520 now it's just constant gaslighting the media the government um any kind of institution related to
00:06:04.340 the media a lot of people experience this in their workplaces as well right but it's more of a macro
00:06:09.320 thing. They're doing this on a macro scale. Now, in my opinion, I believe what they're currently
00:06:15.640 gaslighting us about, number one, claims of improving affordability amid high costs. So
00:06:24.620 the government's messaging here, Carney and officials have stated that affordability is
00:06:30.160 the best it's been in over a decade. And in some contexts, they highlight measures like scrapping
00:06:35.880 the consumer carbon tax, middle tax or middle class tax cuts, and then of course this grocery
00:06:41.840 benefit, which is only up to $1,800, temporary fuel tax pauses, and automatic benefits enrollment.
00:06:50.920 The spring economic update of 2026, so this recent spring economic update, it touted a
00:06:56.440 lower deficit, $66.9 billion for 25 to 26, which is down $11 billion from their prior projections.
00:07:05.880 And modest GDP growth, around 1.1 to 1.7%.
00:07:10.300 And of course, he says we have this resilience despite the U.S. tariffs.
00:07:15.600 And this all comes from Budget Canada's website.
00:07:19.600 Now, of course, the truth of the matter is, is that this actually downplays the reality.
00:07:26.280 Canada has faced the highest food inflation in the G7.
00:07:30.740 Grocery prices are up huge.
00:07:32.900 Some reports say there are 22% increases over recent years and ongoing pressures.
00:07:39.840 Gas prices rose significantly.
00:07:42.280 For example, 20 to 28% year over year in some periods.
00:07:46.760 Of course, our shelter costs, housing, remain elevated.
00:07:50.880 And of course, polls now show that most Canadians, at least two-thirds plus, believe the economy is on the wrong track.
00:07:59.260 Food bank usage has surged with reports of a human rights crisis tied to poverty and inflation.
00:08:06.360 So why in this context are they gaslighting us about this? 0.98
00:08:11.840 Well, because they don't give a fuck about us. 0.98
00:08:14.080 That's the obvious answer. 0.95
00:08:15.180 But, you know, critics will say that the emphasizing headline growth or resilience,
00:08:19.260 while everyday costs outpace wages, it erodes the trust in society and in people's personal experiences.
00:08:26.440 The per capita GDP has declined for years, even though we've had an explosive population growth.
00:08:33.720 And of course, this leads to ugly growth descriptions.
00:08:37.220 One of the other things that we keep hearing as well is obviously about the housing affordability and supply crisis.
00:08:43.840 So they'll highlight the government, for example, will highlight plans like build Canada homes, infrastructure funds, incentives for construction.
00:08:51.740 And of course, they're going to double the pace of building.
00:08:54.240 But the reality is, and the public perception is, that 85 to 91% of Canadians report severe concern over rents, home prices, and of course, the lack of supply.
00:09:07.180 Many people view federal policies, most importantly, or including especially, immigration levels, high immigration levels that they have now adjusted.
00:09:17.920 Of course, the damage has been done at this point in time.
00:09:20.280 they believe that is one of the biggest contributors with little tangible relief for any kind of young
00:09:26.240 buyer or renters officials frame progress as substantial while the metrics show ongoing
00:09:32.680 affordability canada often ranks among the worst in the g7 for housing costs relative to your
00:09:41.120 income so for example the u.s you know obviously their dollar is worth more so their costs of
00:09:47.220 things are going to be a little bit less. But when you compare their wages, their earning to the cost
00:09:53.380 of housing, it's a lot more in line to where it should be than Canada. We have such a huge gap
00:09:59.380 between earned wages and being able to afford a house. The one thing too that I keep hearing
00:10:05.700 the elbows up crowd talk about is the economic resilience versus stagnation and debt. So their
00:10:12.980 official line to all of us is that we avoided a recession in 2025 despite the big orange bad
00:10:19.280 orange man's tariffs and uncertainty around jobs they say that they have added jobs which again
00:10:28.700 most of those are government jobs right so really the taxpayer is funding for them they claim that
00:10:33.680 the debt to gdp is stabilizing and they're focusing on diversification and investment
00:10:39.120 now people need to remember too that mark carney is not a prime minister he is a finance guy right
00:10:45.160 and so his focus on everything is numbers so to him canada is not a nation it's not a people it's
00:10:52.920 not something you know that needs to be uh has multiple different issues that need to be addressed
00:10:58.580 social issues you know political issues and that it's simply just a number an investment
00:11:03.080 and how can he kind of he gets off on on you know making good investments that kind of thing 0.76
00:11:08.580 it's all a fugazi you know what a fugazi is well fugazi it's a fake yeah fugazi fugazi it's a wasi 0.56
00:11:15.740 it's a woozy it's a fairy dust it doesn't exist it's never landed it is no matter it's not on 0.98
00:11:21.500 the elemental chart it it's not fucking real of course the reality is that low there is low per 0.91
00:11:27.340 worker investment right now huge household debt business closures are actually outpacing business 0.80
00:11:34.340 openings, and the net investment flight, over $1 trillion cited in prior years,
00:11:42.040 weak productivity, and youth unemployment challenges. Basically, the critics of the
00:11:47.420 governments, like people like me and most people, really, who, you know, don't believe any of this
00:11:52.500 gaslighting, they call the updates illusions and ignores the declining living standards for many,
00:11:58.960 of course, right? So these patterns fit classic gaslighting traits when institutions either
00:12:04.320 deny or trivialize observable pain. So like, for example, saying affordability is better,
00:12:09.620 well, the polls show widespread struggle, and your own antidotal evidence shows widespread
00:12:14.460 struggle. They'll shift the blame to global factors, the Iran war, for example, prior
00:12:21.720 governments constantly blaming, you know, the conservatives for doing stuff currently, but they
00:12:26.420 all do that. Or external shocks like tariffs. So the fact that, you know, the big orange, bad orange
00:12:33.140 man rather put tariffs on our products is why we're suffering so badly now and then of course
00:12:38.900 they also highlight selective metrics so if you know that book called how to lie with statistics
00:12:43.460 well all these politicians have read that book and they've memorized it so they'll headline the
00:12:48.580 gdp like the overall gdp and or they'll like you know deficit like they'll tweak the deficit
00:12:54.880 numbers and stuff like that to make it look like it's better than it is and they never give you
00:12:58.780 the per capita outcome or daily realities of people living here. Independent data from StatsCan,
00:13:04.880 the Bank of Canada, Fraser Institute, and polls actually, support real pressure on households,
00:13:10.940 even as technical recession was avoided. Now, two of my most, like the ones that really,
00:13:21.420 really piss me off, are the fact that the immigrants that are coming here are doctors 1.00
00:13:26.780 and engineers. Now for this, we're never going to be able to find government statistics, but I 0.99
00:13:34.140 believe the best evidence is anecdotal. So we're going to go over, instead of me talking through
00:13:38.460 this whole thing, we're just going to go over some anecdotal evidence to obviously disprove this
00:13:42.900 claim. For example, we have this. In March, a foreign worker from India, a student turned
00:13:48.700 permanent resident, got 5.5 months of house arrest for using her position as a Walmart cashier to
00:13:55.060 help her friend steal $7,000 worth of merchandise. Immigration consequences was one reason for the
00:14:01.840 light sentence. So this is an example of the doctors and engineers that are coming here. 1.00
00:14:07.400 Now we all know this is quite a persuasive issue in Canadian society right now is these
00:14:13.780 doctors and engineers abusing and well using and abusing our food bank system which is not there
00:14:19.880 for them students are expected to be able to fund their stay here when they
00:14:25.220 come so not only are they not doing that but they brag about you know abusing our
00:14:31.000 food banks so another doctor and engineer
00:14:33.280 so this was just pictures I guess but yeah one of the other doctors and
00:14:47.000 engineers that are, you know, coming here and basically doing food bank hauls. And some more
00:14:53.640 doctors and engineers here who actually have to use the taxpayer money. So Canadians are struggling
00:14:58.560 to live. Unvetted refugees and asylum seekers, oh sorry, doctors and engineers, are handed housing, 0.99
00:15:05.260 standby doctors, and three square meals a day before they even get approved. 1.00
00:15:10.280 This invites migrants to illegally drain taxpayer funds from the people who need it the most. 0.99
00:15:14.820 Well, they're doctors and engineers, right? 0.75
00:15:18.440 Mr. Jakes, what sort of services does the Region of Peel provide to asylum claimants?
00:15:25.560 Thank you. Through the chair.
00:15:28.100 Well, we hire organizations such as COSI to provide those services, but we also provide health care services.
00:15:35.260 So from a public health perspective, there's a doctor on site, there are nurses on site, public health officials on site to make sure all the vaccinations are up to speed.
00:15:43.440 we provide employment counseling as well as employment opportunities so we bring
00:15:49.260 in companies such as Tim Hortons for example to run job fairs for individuals
00:15:53.460 we work with them through housing housing navigation to understand you
00:15:58.820 know what housing opportunities are available for them career opportunities
00:16:02.520 for them that we're not include providing three meals a day for asylum
00:16:06.040 claimants yes so our reception and does that include providing services like
00:16:12.040 shelters like hotels and other housing accommodations temporarily for families
00:16:17.080 yeah yes for families for individuals and who pays for these hotels so it's
00:16:23.880 it's cost shared between the federal government and the municipality and how
00:16:27.640 much does uh money does peel receive from the federal government through the
00:16:31.480 through these uh interim housing assistance program so for eligible
00:16:37.360 costs uh for 25 26 we received 95 of eligible costs for transitional housing in the reception
00:16:43.920 center from the federal government feel responsible for how much is that in dollar value
00:16:48.960 so in dollar value in 2025 federal contribution was 29.8 million dollars and then the regional
00:16:56.240 contribution was 2.3 million so why would doctors and engineers need that much taxpayer money if
00:17:02.000 if they were coming here to work as doctors and engineers.
00:17:06.280 What about these doctors and engineers
00:17:08.460 who had an organized crime network going on in Canada?
00:17:12.280 All of them, or sorry, all but one were actually based in Canada,
00:17:15.800 but none of them are Canadian citizens.
00:17:18.180 109 criminal offences linked to organized crime activity,
00:17:21.320 including extortion.
00:17:23.260 This is something I never knew doctors and engineers did,
00:17:27.000 and this is not the kind of doctors and engineers
00:17:29.340 I thought we actually needed in Canada.
00:17:30.900 Be predatory on innocent families, you can't. Here's a case where all the alleged criminals are not even Canadian citizens, but they were acting with impunity in our region. If you think this can be replicated, it's going to have the same result, because we have the best of the best in the Peel Regional Police. And having CBSA here to send a very clear signal that this is not tolerated in Canada, I think is particularly helpful.
00:17:52.540 You've caught basically one ring of probably thousands that are going on here,
00:17:57.160 and our government is complicit in it because they keep gaslighting us
00:18:00.500 and telling us that we need doctors and engineers,
00:18:03.040 and then bringing over these criminals claiming that they're doctors and engineers.
00:18:06.740 A woman in Edmonton, Alberta, says a security guard at the superstore on Gateway Boulevard
00:18:10.940 took photos of her and her children.
00:18:12.980 She claims when she raised the issue with the store manager,
00:18:15.220 he did not properly address her concerns and walked away.
00:18:18.120 This incident has raised questions about appropriate conduct
00:18:20.620 of how customer complaints are handled with in-store security situations and the funny thing is is that
00:18:26.460 the manager was also a doctor or engineer so this guy just took pictures of me and my kids as i walked
00:18:32.380 by with that thing right there i see you hi that guy took pictures of me and my kids when we walked
00:18:46.380 in the store. You cannot shoot me. But can you tell me why he took pictures of us? I cannot talk
00:18:51.460 to you unless you have no permission to shoot me. And I cannot talk to you. The doctors and 0.95
00:18:57.840 engineers don't like when you're filming them. Here's another doctor or engineer who's actually
00:19:02.480 running for mayor of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba. He's actually, you know, wants to try some of the
00:19:09.100 fentanyl that the people are hooked on that, you know, his fellow doctors and engineers are
00:19:14.000 bringing into Canada, you know, by the boatload, he thought he would try it out.
00:19:20.440 Oh, I see. This is fentanyl? Okay, nice. How does fentanyl work? Can I take it?
00:19:32.000 No, no, no. This is opiate? This thing? Yeah. Oh, I see. So how'd it work?
00:19:40.000 already know this thing we just put it right here this is opiate acting like he doesn't know what
00:19:53.160 his fellow doctors and engineers are selling and how to use it oh here's another highly skilled
00:19:58.160 doctor or engineer air canada employee parm pal sidu is facing charges in a massive airport drug
00:20:05.080 smuggling ring while working a warehouse job that pays around 50k a year. Well, I thought they were
00:20:10.240 doctors and engineers that were coming here. He was posting Instagram flexes from the Ritz-Carlton
00:20:14.900 Dubai, flying business class, driving a Mercedes G-Wagon and sipping $1,000 champagne and showing
00:20:20.820 off high-powered rifles at the range. Here's a little example. Yeah, he looks about right.
00:20:28.440 This is the other Air Canada employee facing charges. Parmpal Sidhu splashes his lavish
00:20:34.500 lifestyle on instagram the uh saint regis bar insane i've never seen anything like this
00:20:41.300 those are all bottles of wine and champagne i worked in a warehouse there probably make
00:20:47.460 shout out to avery haynes for cracking down on all these doctors and engineers that are you know
00:20:51.460 committing rampant crime in canada 50 000 a year goes to dubai and he's drinking a thousand dollar
00:20:56.740 bottle of champagne and putting it on facebook shortly after the heist sidu was posting from
00:21:02.260 the ritz in dubai business class tickets high-end car the actual doctors and engineers here in
00:21:09.220 canada could never afford that cars and showcasing his love of high-powered weapons
00:21:18.820 i wonder what he's a doctor of they've both been there about 20 25 years so either they've been
00:21:23.700 doing it for 20 or 25 years or they just started now i i was like shocked to be clear neither has
00:21:30.260 been convicted the case is still and neither will be because we need doctors and engineers here
00:21:35.860 what about the doctors and engineers that come here to drive trucks
00:21:40.180 teamsters canada exposed the use of foreign workers in the trucking industry
00:21:45.220 annual approvals for temporary foreign workers for position of truck drivers in canada have more
00:21:50.340 than quadrupled between 2010 and 2024 the approvals for truck drivers in 2024 are the
00:21:56.100 the highest on record. Of course, the highest number of positions are in BC, Alberta, and
00:22:00.940 Ontario. Even though the TFW approvals, again, doctors and engineers that we need, have increased
00:22:08.660 for all professions, they rose at a more rapid rate for those doctors and engineers that need
00:22:12.780 to drive trucks than for any other profession. Individual companies have had up to 220 approved
00:22:21.280 positions in a single year, well, how come nobody can find a doctor? The increase in these approved
00:22:26.660 positions demonstrates a reliance on poor working conditions and lack of public policies to create
00:22:31.320 better quality jobs, which attract Canadians to trucking, of course. Now, we have also agreed to
00:22:38.600 train future doctors and engineers here. Canada and India have welcomed 13 new partnerships between
00:22:44.660 Canadian and Indian universities. They have MOUs with the University of British Columbia,
00:22:50.460 Simon Fraser University,
00:22:52.600 the University of Fraser Valley,
00:22:56.160 Algoma University,
00:22:58.960 Dalhousie,
00:23:00.520 Guelph,
00:23:02.200 Brock,
00:23:03.200 Royal Roads.
00:23:05.360 This is another one for Simon Fraser.
00:23:07.200 U of T.
00:23:08.480 And yes,
00:23:09.420 they may be two-way things,
00:23:10.680 but how many actual Canadians are going to go to university in India when the education is subpar?
00:23:15.920 This is more, 0.67
00:23:16.760 this is just a kind of a gaslighting,
00:23:19.020 a way to gaslight the public into thinking that it's a two-way street, but it's really just a
00:23:24.040 mechanism for them to import their excess males who are low-skilled and, you know, will never have
00:23:29.700 a job over there. But, you know, again, they're doctors and engineers that we need.
00:23:36.240 And of course, one of the other big things that they like to gaslight us about is the fact that
00:23:41.200 we have a labor shortage. So let's go over what kind of labor shortage we're experiencing here
00:23:47.240 that we need to bring in all these doctors and engineers. Canada has the highest, or sorry,
00:23:52.760 second highest, let's not give them that much credit, second highest unemployment rate in G7
00:23:57.220 countries. Next to that are, of course, the EU countries, which, of course, Carney wants us to
00:24:01.940 get closer to. Weak countries matching with weak countries, not good, explains why Canada and
00:24:06.960 France walk hand in hand. So according to our government, we are in desperate need of labor.
00:24:12.860 We have a huge labor shortage and we need to bring in all these people to, you know, do the labor here that, you know, those lazy ass Canadians don't want to do. Somehow, though, we have a 6.9 percent unemployment rate. And that is just in the general public. That is not including the youth unemployment rate, which is like a staggering 20 percent. 1.00
00:24:31.440 Now, let's look at some recent, not recent, sorry about that, for how we're so desperate for these workers and labor that this is what happens when you go apply for a job in Canada. 0.99
00:24:48.620 Let's mute the Indian music because it's disgusting. 0.98
00:24:53.560 But these are all people lined up for a job at a shoe store, which is just a retail position. 1.00
00:24:58.660 This is in Brampton and this is Winners. So this is another retail organization that apparently needs is having such a huge labor shortage that they have hundreds of people lining up for a minimum wage, part time sales job.
00:25:11.560 if this is what a labor shortage looks like i hate to see uh what it looks like when we don't
00:25:31.180 have a labor shortage now this here is for a job interview at a tire factory in woodbridge so again
00:25:38.120 And our labour shortage that the government keeps telling us about, why are we seeing lines like this every single day?
00:25:44.140 Job interview in Canada.
00:25:45.780 for our labor shortages why don't they already have a job before they get here why are they
00:26:08.540 lining up by the hundreds for minimum wage part-time jobs if there is such a huge labor
00:26:14.580 shortage let's take a look at this and this was from last year this is ontario the lcbo
00:26:22.900 a lineup here again for a part-time minimum wage well maybe you'll get a little bit more
00:26:27.620 than minimum wage at the lcbo but for a part-time sales you know retail job that
00:26:32.660 uh you know person in university should be doing or a retired person semi-retired
00:26:38.820 I don't again don't see it I see a Canadian holding the door but I don't see a single
00:26:46.880 Canadian in the lineup so again I'm not sure where this labor shortage is coming from but I mean if
00:26:51.920 they're telling us that it must be true right but antidotal evidence means nothing right
00:26:56.780 and finally this again let me share this this was in April but this is when the unemployment rate
00:27:05.360 was 14% but it's now worse than that. At this job fair in Calgary competition is fierce. More than
00:27:12.220 5,000 young people facing one of the toughest job markets in years. It has been quite hard to be
00:27:18.780 honest. A lot of applying, a lot of online applying. I've applied for companies and so far I haven't
00:27:26.600 found any even for an interview. High school students and recent grads struggling to land
00:27:33.100 that first job trying to make the right impression in person unfortunately for
00:27:38.260 you kids let me give you a piece of advice most of these places are only 1.00
00:27:41.740 going to hire their family members who are likely in India so they're gonna 1.00
00:27:46.840 pretend and you know do the whole theater of having a job fair and pretend that
00:27:51.160 they're actually gonna hire Canadian kids but in reality they're not because
00:27:54.880 they get a subsidy from the government if they tell them that they can't find
00:27:57.700 anybody so again this is what a labor shortage looks like guys if I could get
00:28:02.080 in front of a board I think I'll be able to articulate myself better. New job numbers from
00:28:07.000 Statistics Canada show the unemployment rate among 15 to 24 year olds is sitting around 14 percent.
00:28:13.480 So do you understand when I say gaslighting the government tells us that we need we have a labor
00:28:17.580 shortage but how can there be a shortage when the unemployment rate is above zero? So far this year
00:28:24.820 the country lost roughly 95,000 jobs more than half among young people. Some are jobs, some are
00:28:31.580 interns co-op students are and the reason why these people these jobs don't exist anymore is 0.97
00:28:37.720 because they're bringing in Indian students to do it or TFWs because they get a subsidy from us
00:28:42.220 the taxpayer to do that probably less of a priority or not being hired this year as they
00:28:48.360 used to be in the past one of the challenges for younger workers is Canada's slowing economy 1.00
00:28:54.880 older workers wrong wrong wrong it's the massive immigrants that are coming in here that shouldn't 0.98
00:29:00.860 be allowed to work when they get here because they're supposedly studying laid off from their 1.00
00:29:05.280 jobs are now often competing with youth for the same entry-level roles there are less entry-level
00:29:11.900 opportunities available this is also a form of gaslighting because the media will never tell
00:29:16.260 you what the real issue is and it's most definitely the level of immigration so they won't tell you
00:29:23.320 that though they'll blame other things like business closures they'll blame you know the
00:29:26.900 economy and all this kind of stuff and those may have small minor roles but the biggest reason is 0.99
00:29:31.740 because we have way too many Indians here that should not be here because there is no work for 1.00
00:29:38.060 them they're not doctors they're not engineers and there is no labor shortage because more of 1.00
00:29:43.600 the senior season staff are forced to take on those responsibilities and have the business
00:29:49.740 operate at a little bit of a leaner level this western wear store is getting ready for its
00:29:55.440 busiest season and has already seen an increase in applicants. Imagine going to a western wear store
00:30:01.280 to buy some cowboy boots and a fucking Indiana serving you. Like talk about fucking like a smack 1.00
00:30:07.460 in the face, a kick right in the nuts. There's a lot of eager kids out there that are wanting to 1.00
00:30:12.080 get to work. The job market isn't expected to improve just yet. Employment site indeed says
00:30:18.280 the number of summer job postings are down 11% so far compared to this time last year. Yeah because
00:30:24.460 they've already brought in people. They don't post them because like I said, they're bringing
00:30:27.340 in their extended family to come here for that. So that's pretty much all I have for this. But I
00:30:32.840 just wanted to make something because it was really annoying me about the how much gaslighting
00:30:37.540 we're hearing. You know, you can't even flip through the channels on TV without hearing some
00:30:42.360 form of gaslighting from somebody. You know, the government institutions often engage in this kind
00:30:46.940 of propaganda or narrative control. You know, and of course, it does overlap with gaslighting
00:30:52.320 techniques but it really is gaslighting the best defense of course you know is
00:30:56.460 skepticism our own eyes you know trust yourself trust your eyes trust the
00:31:00.240 anecdotal evidence and of course get your own independent verification thanks
00:31:05.460 for watching guys I will see you next time
