00:00:00.000 What's up guys, it's Andy Priscilla and this is the show for the realists, say goodbye
00:00:20.680 to the lies, the fakeness and delusions of modern society and welcome to motherfucking
00:00:24.220 reality. Guys, today we have a Q and AF. I'm joined today by my man, DJ, AKA White Lightning.
00:00:32.860 White Lightning, baby. What's up, bro? Dude, I'm over here recovering from death. Yeah.
00:00:37.040 I saw you out there getting it, dude. I'm dying out there. I'm proud of you, man. I appreciate
00:00:40.540 you, man. Yeah. You know, it's funny because I was I had like a come to Jesus moment out
00:00:45.460 there, bro. Oh, yeah. And in the middle of your workout? No. Yes. I mean, serious. Like
00:00:50.220 almost in fucking tears, man, because, you know, like 75 hard is day 20 for me. And
00:00:55.660 I know this is something that you've been through. I know there's a lot of people out
00:00:58.220 there that have been through this, but, you know, like there was a part in a workout where
00:01:01.340 I mean, it was fucking hard. It was hard. And I started thinking to myself, man, I'm
00:01:05.400 like, you know, it looked hard. I did that to me, though. Yeah. Yeah. You know, it was
00:01:10.200 all the fucking the bullshit food that I ate, all the fucking beers that I've drunk as
00:01:14.360 all the the missing the workouts, not working out like that's what got me to this point.
00:01:19.020 And like it was just a come to Jesus moment where like, you know, it's my fault. Like
00:01:22.860 I put myself here. This is hard because I fucking made it hard. Yeah, bro. And that's
00:01:27.100 a that's a necessary realization to have for change, whether it be a change in your job,
00:01:33.940 a change in your fitness, a change in your family, a change in how you live your life
00:01:37.760 in any way. It all starts with saying, you know what? I did this shit. You know what I'm
00:01:42.640 saying? And dude, if you really want to get great in life, you take responsibility for
00:01:47.080 shit that isn't even really your fault. You know, hey, OK, I didn't create this.
00:01:51.420 I recognize that. But if someone doesn't fix it, that's my fault. And that is where
00:01:56.200 you start to get really powerful. Right. Especially when it comes to your career, because
00:02:00.180 most people will will act like they're at the mercy of their job or whatever it is.
00:02:06.420 No, you're not. Most companies have tremendous upward mobility. You just deny the fact that
00:02:10.880 they do, because I can tell you for sure, at least where I'm at, if a motherfucker comes
00:02:15.580 in here and kicks ass, I don't care where they're from. I don't care how smart they
00:02:18.500 are. I don't care anybody, anything. We got guys in here that kick ass that like, you
00:02:22.900 know, I thought honestly would probably be in and out of the company in six or seven
00:02:27.420 weeks. Yeah, that that's them. That's them taking responsibility for themselves. That's
00:02:32.800 them recognizing opportunity. That's them going hard to realize that. And, you know, that's
00:02:39.380 one of the beautiful things about 75 hard and live hard program is that it forces you to
00:02:43.740 realize what you just said. If you the first two, three weeks, you're going to be forcing
00:02:47.860 yourself through every day. And eventually you're going to have one of those moments
00:02:51.400 where you're like, fuck, all my life is is my my fault. And see, that's where you start
00:02:57.420 to get powerful. And that's, you know, we talk. Jocko has his book, Extreme Ownership.
00:03:01.300 It's a great book on this. But all positive change and positive progress starts with taking
00:03:06.520 responsibility. And it's sad because like, you know, you guys who follow me, you saw on Monday,
00:03:11.600 I went on a fucking tirade in my story because some dude who I barely know, OK, wanted to hear
00:03:19.280 himself talk. And no, for real, that's what he does. You know, that's not just him, but like
00:03:23.940 other people do this to me all the time. And it's rude as fuck. You know, I run many different
00:03:28.780 companies. It's not just not just first form. There's all kinds of different shit that I'm doing
00:03:33.600 every single day. I'm doing the best that I possibly can to educate and contribute and help
00:03:40.020 people at my 75 hard program is free. You know, I could monetize the fuck out of that. And I don't.
00:03:48.000 And then I get people to just disrespect my time because they don't want to take the initiative
00:03:52.080 to figure out how to buy the book. Bro, I'm not cool with that. And honestly, it represents the
00:03:56.640 entire problem with this entire fucking society. You know, we've become a society nowadays where we
00:04:02.400 look at every single person and we say they're obligated to us for some reason. You know,
00:04:08.720 this cancer culture shit, like a lot of these people, like I made that story. Right. And like
00:04:12.900 if you guys didn't catch it, I went pretty hard, but the truth be told, I was holding back. I could
00:04:17.900 have went way fucking harder, you know, which is funny because a lot of people are emoji with the
00:04:22.560 big eyes. Right. But like, dude, you guys don't have no fucking idea, bro. I'm a force of fucking
00:04:26.800 nature. Like they call me the bear here. They ask people not to poke it. All right. That's the truth.
00:04:33.360 Okay. DJ, you have a temperature gauge. I do explain them the temperature. So literally just
00:04:38.920 about everybody in this office understands that they, they will come to me first. I'm like, Hey,
00:04:43.020 what's the temperature? How's any, and if it's not a good day, I tell them to fuck off. Yeah.
00:04:47.820 Okay. But see, and that's necessary. And it's not because I'm an asshole. It's because I have so
00:04:52.400 much on my plate that you motherfuckers can't comprehend it. And, and dude, this is my karma.
00:04:57.440 One time Gary, Gary V listen, my show. Sometimes I want Gary to know this one time, Gary, we're
00:05:04.120 personal friends. One time I fucking yelled at him about not getting back with me because
00:05:09.040 we're friends. And I called him out on the same shit. And he was like, bro, I'm drinking
00:05:14.580 from a fire hose. It's nothing personal, you know? And he explained himself. And then like
00:05:19.000 a year or two later, when I got a little bigger, I text him back and I said, Hey bro, I get it.
00:05:23.780 I'm sorry. Sorry. No, but dude, the truth is I didn't get it at that time. And now I
00:05:29.660 do get it and that I was wrong, but people don't think about that. They don't think about
00:05:34.520 how much I'm, and I'm not sitting here trying to toot my own horn, but motherfucker, there's
00:05:38.860 a billion hashtags of fucking a 75 hard on Tik TOK. There's millions of people who've changed
00:05:44.000 their lives with first form. There's RTA syndicate. Uh, there's the podcast, both of them that I've
00:05:49.600 done for years and years and years. I give away so much value for fucking free and help
00:05:55.180 so many people. I am very confident. And I'm not saying this to brag, but I am very confident
00:06:00.520 that there's not a single other human out there that has affected and impacted more people
00:06:06.740 with real actual change than me period. Okay. Cause we cover it from business. We cover it
00:06:13.040 from fitness because we cover it from mentality. Okay. There's nobody's doing that. All right.
00:06:18.380 So guys, I'm busy as fuck. So when you get mad at me because I don't want to look up the
00:06:24.900 fucking link for a book that I've talked about for literally three fucking years and you all
00:06:31.060 know exactly where to get it, which I happen to be sold out of, which I'm not sending you
00:06:35.640 a free one. Like I get fucking pissed off because it's disrespectful as fuck. Like, dude, what
00:06:41.320 other person do, what other company do you message the CEO and say, Hey man, can you send
00:06:46.540 me a link to your fucking, do you, do you DM Phil Knight and say, Hey man, can you send
00:06:50.940 me a link? This is why this attitude of entitlement is why more CEOs are not more active on the
00:06:57.900 fucking internet. That's a fact. That's why the reason you don't have access to Phil
00:07:02.340 Knight or fucking these other guys who have built these iconic brands isn't because they
00:07:06.620 don't care. It's because you guys abuse the fuck out of me because it's making me want
00:07:11.300 to literally shut my shit down and say, fuck it because they don't have to do this
00:07:15.820 shit. I'm well off. I've already made my money. I've I'm secure for the rest of my
00:07:21.180 life. Like I don't have to do any of this. So that kind of shit comes across to me is
00:07:26.360 so disrespectful. And then I have people, I had a person in one of these 75 hard
00:07:32.780 groups, which by the way, again, I've been very liberal and allowing people to run
00:07:37.220 their own groups and see, but you know, what's happened in those groups. People don't hold
00:07:41.320 the line. They don't fucking enforce the standard of 75 hard. They allow all these people to
00:07:46.500 make their version of 75 hard, which is says very clearly as rule number one, that's not
00:07:51.620 how the fuck it works. And these people don't even understand that that instinct for them
00:07:57.100 to modify things, to make them more palatable to them is what keeps them where they are in
00:08:03.060 life. OK, you don't get to change the circumstances of the outside reality. This is part of the
00:08:09.000 learning of 75 hard. And the reason that most of these people are dissatisfied with their
00:08:14.420 lives is because they try to change the rules that that are not supposed to be changed instead
00:08:20.140 of actually just gritting up and fucking excelling inside that framework. OK, so they can't even
00:08:26.620 recognize the problem they have with themselves. And then they're going to go out and create new
00:08:29.920 versions of this program under my name and under my and then when I get on Instagram and I fucking
00:08:35.380 get pissed off because someone is literally disrespecting my complete fucking everything
00:08:43.000 that I do by doing that. Right. Like, say, hey, can you send me the link to your motherfucker?
00:08:48.760 Then they get mad at me. They're like, oh, he doesn't appreciate his customers. No, no, no,
00:08:53.660 because those people aren't my customers. My customers don't complain. My customers will complain
00:08:58.500 when there's a legit problem. My customers are not excuse makers. My customers are not people
00:09:03.040 who fucking are lazy. My customers might have been lazy in the past. That's who they used to be.
00:09:08.360 My customers realize that they've got to do their part. Those are my customers. My customers
00:09:13.020 and all my businesses are people who take accountability for who the fuck they are and
00:09:17.460 want to change it. My customers are not the people who are unwilling to take responsibility for
00:09:22.660 their decisions and who want other people to change it. And that's consistently where the
00:09:27.760 criticism comes from the Internet. Right. These people who are have become entitled. Right. They
00:09:33.640 think, oh, because I bought this man's book or I did. Motherfucker, don't buy the book. The shit's
00:09:38.400 for free. I'm not asking you to buy the book. Most people buy the book because they got so much value
00:09:44.260 out of the program that they want to know more about it. So they read the book or where we sell most of
00:09:50.100 the books, by the way, are for gifts. People who want to give the book to friends because it created
00:09:54.800 so much value for them. OK, so these people think that they owe you. They own you now because they
00:10:02.400 bought a book from you or something. Motherfucker, I'm just going to be really clear. I'm not that kind
00:10:06.660 of person. I know very clearly who I am. My brand, if you hadn't noticed, it says real AF. That's
00:10:12.700 that doesn't stand for real Andy for selling. That stands for real as fuck. OK, so I'm always going to
00:10:17.560 tell the truth. You're not going to like what I say all the time. And if you can't deal with that,
00:10:21.940 then go listen to other people who are more palatable to your taste. You know, there's lots
00:10:25.980 of very nice people out there who will tell you things that aren't necessarily true to make you
00:10:31.040 feel good in the moment. I'm just not one of those people and I never will be and I never have been.
00:10:36.520 And it's interesting to me when I see people in these groups get mad at me for the things I say
00:10:41.400 and then they act like they're going to try to cancel me. Motherfucker, I'm doing just fine.
00:10:45.800 As far as I know, I've been me the last 23 years I've been in business. And the more me I am,
00:10:52.380 guess what happens? The more the business grows. And it's something I've been trying to teach you
00:10:56.400 guys for years and years and years that authenticity wins. And you know why authenticity wins?
00:11:01.900 Because you motherfuckers know that when I say something, I'm telling you the truth
00:11:06.220 because I'm authentic to you. I tell you the shit that's fucked up. I tell you the truth when it
00:11:11.760 needs to be told. And most people won't do it because they want to, they don't want to offend
00:11:16.220 their customer base or they don't want to put people out or they don't want to, you know,
00:11:20.320 lose a couple of dollars. Bro, and this is the even funnier thing on the big picture. And this is
00:11:25.800 a business lesson, by the way. This is not just a rant. This is a business lesson. The reason you're
00:11:31.140 afraid to speak your truth and be who you are is because you have pretended to be something that you
00:11:37.940 aren't in order to get money. You have half of your customers that don't really know what your
00:11:44.300 beliefs are. And you have half of your customers that, that probably think they know what your
00:11:48.500 beliefs are and you're trying to ride the fence. And what that does is that makes you a fucking
00:11:52.760 prisoner to these people's opinions. All right. And I'm going to tell you right now, people will
00:11:58.560 support authenticity and truth, even if they don't agree with it more than anything else. So you people
00:12:04.760 out there who are building a brand and you're hiding behind, you're riding the fence, trying
00:12:08.500 to please everybody opinion, you're going to end up losing because one day one side of this group is
00:12:14.280 going to find out something about you that you don't, that they don't approve of or like. And
00:12:18.160 because you've been pandering to them and pretending to be something that you're not, you're going to
00:12:22.280 lose that respect with a group. And then what'll happen is you apologize for that and you lose the
00:12:27.220 respect of the other side. When the truth is, if you're just who you are on a daily basis and you just
00:12:32.340 tell people what you think and you just stand for what it is that you stand for and you just let
00:12:36.760 the fucking dominoes fall where the fuck they might look, dude, it's going to be what it is.
00:12:41.800 I'm not under any delusions that everybody out there agrees with everything I fucking say,
00:12:45.560 but here's what I do know. I know that everybody who listens to me and follows me knows that I
00:12:49.620 believe what the fuck I say. Okay. And people respect that except for these fucking entitled,
00:12:56.140 nobody do-gooders out there that ride their moral high horse and they think they're better than
00:13:01.080 everybody and they think they have control because they bought a fucking book from my website. Don't
00:13:05.400 buy the book. Don't, don't shop with me. I, if you, if that's what you think the nature of the
00:13:10.320 relationship is going to be, that you're going to bend me over my opinions and my, my shit, uh,
00:13:17.260 because you bought something from me one time, then don't buy from me. I'm perfectly fine with that.
00:13:21.760 I run my whole life that way. I don't run ads on this show. I don't run ads for the show.
00:13:25.860 Uh, it's straight value exchange. I give away the 75 hard program for free. Okay. Um, there's tons
00:13:32.980 of shit I do for free. I give away the podcast for free. There's all these things I do for free.
00:13:37.500 Like I'm giving you the value upfront. So you don't get to fucking bend me over because of something
00:13:43.700 you don't like that. I said, I don't fucking care. And I don't, I really don't. Or you can't.
00:13:49.060 Well, it's just, it's just getting old dude, because like now, you know, it bleeds into like
00:13:53.660 what's going on with the world. You know, a lot of these people hit me up and they're like,
00:13:57.000 yeah, Andy fucking louder in the back, be louder. You know, say louder for the, no motherfucker.
00:14:01.920 The reason we're here is because you're only saying that you're only saying that privately
00:14:07.060 behind the scenes because you're afraid of the, taking the arrows yourself. Well,
00:14:12.280 when you let everybody else take all the arrows and nothing changes, the reason that these people
00:14:16.120 are out there getting their fucking arrows is because you won't join them. That's not noble.
00:14:20.840 That's not cool. You know, all these people out there, like the, like all these people out there
00:14:25.600 trying to wake everybody up. This isn't about waking everybody up, dude. This is about that.
00:14:31.000 The people who are still asleep, who think this shit is like, okay, who believe in the, the, the,
00:14:36.520 the tyranny that's going on. They're not the problem. The problem is the people who recognize
00:14:41.960 that it's not okay. The people who know it's not okay. And who are deciding to not get involved
00:14:47.180 and say, shit, you motherfuckers are the problem. Okay. That's the problem. It's, you know, all
00:14:53.000 these middle and right people are like, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up. No, that's not the
00:14:58.660 message. The message is stop being a bitch and get involved with the shit you actually believe in.
00:15:03.280 Your life will change in a positive way. Many times over. One of the best things that happened
00:15:08.400 to me this year or the last two years is that I made so many true, real friends who stand with the
00:15:15.140 same beliefs that I stand for that I know I can count on until the day I fucking die.
00:15:18.740 And that comes from being authentic. My company has grown a hundred percent the last two fucking
00:15:24.380 years. You know why? Cause I'm authentic. We're authentic. First form doesn't hide what it stands
00:15:31.620 for. We're a pro-American pro-freedom company, just like America. You know what I'm saying? Like
00:15:37.320 that attracts people. That doesn't fucking divide people. We unite people. And like, dude, it's just
00:15:42.280 like this, I don't know, man, this whole fucking week shit. It's just getting to the point where
00:15:48.460 like, I fucking can't stand it. Like I can't stand it. Like I said in my story the other day,
00:15:54.440 like I get all these people to come to me. This is why I don't do events that much. Cause I literally
00:15:58.160 get people to come to me and they're standing there and look at me in the fucking face. And I
00:16:02.280 could tell they're fucking a hundred pounds overweight, 200 pounds. Like they're, they don't
00:16:06.480 take care of themselves. They're, they're, they're not successful. They're not. And they're
00:16:10.520 looking at me in the face and they're like, dude, we're so much alike. Do you, I'm just
00:16:16.260 saying like, that's so insulting. That's such an insulting thing to say to me because we're
00:16:20.120 not alike. I come to work every day and I work my fucking ass off. Do I or not? Absolutely.
00:16:26.260 Okay. I fucking put in the work. I am disciplined and my shit gets done. I don't make excuses
00:16:33.300 and my life reflects that. So when you stand there and look at me and tell me you're the
00:16:37.120 same, it kind of makes me want to punch you in the fucking face, you know, but I can't,
00:16:41.640 I got to smile and be like, Oh yeah. Okay, cool. Yeah. Like dude. And I'm just whole fucking like
00:16:47.360 a delusional mentality of humanity is just got, it's got me to the point now where like, I have
00:16:52.300 a hard time identifying with fucking anybody. Like it's almost a super isolating thing. Like,
00:16:57.400 so if you're not somebody who wants to get better, if you're not somebody who's willing to admit
00:17:00.880 that they want to get better, if you're not somebody who is going to work, I don't need,
00:17:06.020 you don't need to be dude. You could be 700 pounds right now and, and totally your life
00:17:11.160 in chaos. If you're willing to do your part, I will fucking do every motherfucking thing
00:17:16.980 I can to help you. But if you're just going to sit there, nobody's dragging you along.
00:17:21.760 You know what I'm saying? And like, I'm tired of this idea of people that, that, that society
00:17:26.260 is going to drag them along. It's like, it's just, it's, it's a fucking disease, dude. It's
00:17:31.900 like a, it's like a, the real pandemic is the fucking lack of accountability and responsibility
00:17:36.080 in this fucking earth. You know what I'm saying? The real pandemic is the lack of action, the lack
00:17:42.400 of, you know, uh, discipline, the lack of belief, the lack of even trying, those are the fucking
00:17:47.460 pandemics. The pandemic is not, uh, you know what they say it is. I mean, it is technically,
00:17:53.760 but in my opinion, the real pen, how many more people would be alive if they actually took all their
00:17:58.200 fucking fitness and health seriously right now? Right. Right. You don't say hundreds of
00:18:04.040 thousands. Yeah. How much better would, I mean, bro, it's just, it's just disgusting to me, bro.
00:18:08.460 And I'm just over it. And you know, I'm, I'm having one of those days and everybody's going
00:18:13.960 to listen to this and they're going to message me and they're going to say, Andy, don't give
00:18:16.360 up. Listen, I love you so much. Listen, and I appreciate those messages, but guys, if you
00:18:21.460 know anything about me, you know that I'm incapable of fucking giving up. I can't quit. It's
00:18:25.360 actually like a blessing and a curse because I really, truly sometimes wish I could just walk
00:18:30.440 the fuck away and go live in the fucking woods and everybody leave me the fuck alone. You know
00:18:34.960 what I'm saying? But the truth of the matter is all the amazing things in my life come from
00:18:40.020 helping the people that are willing to help themselves. So I'm always going to be there for
00:18:44.100 those people. Um, you know, I don't know. We're going to a little housekeeping thing. I'm
00:18:53.520 consolidating everybody onto the 75 heart dominators page on Facebook group, because a lot of these
00:18:58.960 Facebook groups that I've allowed to operate with my name and likeness for the last two
00:19:03.480 or three years, when it comes to 75 hard, uh, have not held the standard, have allowed
00:19:08.200 people to compromise, have allowed people to like create these little offshoots of the
00:19:13.020 main program. And because you guys didn't hold the standard, uh, I'm going to go ahead
00:19:17.380 and get these pages deleted off the internet, which I'm fully within my rights to do.
00:19:21.080 I've already started the process. Um, we're going to consolidate onto the group called 75
00:19:27.560 heart dominators. I'm going to have certified administrators. We're going to, uh, do a certified
00:19:32.180 coach program inside that group. I will be involved in that group, uh, in terms of coming
00:19:37.060 on every once in a while, do a video, do a live answer some questions. Uh, but we're not going
00:19:41.500 to have any of this week shit. Like I am fucking over it. Like I am fucking over it. And, um,
00:19:48.000 yeah. So that's the housekeeping. I don't know what else. Yeah. So questions, man. Yeah. All
00:19:54.700 right. Dude, I just get heated about the shit because it's just, it's like, like, what would
00:20:02.080 you like? I can't imagine. I, I don't know, man. I can't imagine sitting at my house and,
00:20:09.440 and sending a DM to the CEO of, of, of a company and then like expecting them to send me the link
00:20:18.240 to their fucking whatever product. Like, I just can't even imagine even doing like, I can't imagine
00:20:24.960 taking that little of initiative to give a fuck. I just can't do it. I can't even imagine. And like
00:20:30.760 people say, well, that's your, you know, you've lost sight, you know, and those are customers.
00:20:34.100 That's true. That's true. And you know what? If I had one customer or two customers,
00:20:39.040 I might treat it a little bit differently if it was just me. But the fact of the matter is
00:20:42.240 I've given a huge, massive part of my life away for free, a huge, I answered thousands of questions
00:20:50.320 about this program for free. I give it away for fucking free. Okay. Have some respect. You know
00:20:59.300 what I'm saying? Respect my time. Don't come to me with stupid ass shit that you could easily find
00:21:05.280 out. And the reason most of those people come to me like that, bro, is because they want to hear
00:21:09.240 themselves fucking talk. They want to get a response from me. So I'm just going to quit answering DMs from
00:21:13.960 people I don't know in real life. That's really going to be the solution. So if you send me a DM and
00:21:19.000 I don't know you in real life, you're probably not going to get an answer. I'm sorry. So anyway,
00:21:24.240 questions. All right, guys, you guys know how this works. So I got three questions for Andy.
00:21:28.620 Andy, as always, email your questions in to ask Andy at Andy for seller.com.
00:21:35.220 Please don't ask me, how do you get the 75 hard book? So first question. So let's go back in time
00:21:41.600 a little bit. When you were first getting started in business, right? And, you know, I think, you know,
00:21:47.840 when you guys first acquired the next couple of stores, you're moving, you're getting some more
00:21:52.340 employees in. How did you balance trying to acquire high quality employees, but not being able to pay
00:21:58.460 them adequately? Like, how was that balance for you starting off? Well, that's a really good
00:22:03.400 question. And a lot of people face because in the beginning, you don't have any money and it's hard
00:22:08.500 to pay people even competitively when you're really small. You know, so a big thing that you have to
00:22:15.060 understand is that people, first of all, people want to be a part of a winning team. If you're
00:22:19.580 committed to actually winning and actually building something, people will want to be a part of it.
00:22:23.500 The reason that most people have problem attracting employees is because their whole goal with
00:22:28.360 business is to get to a point where they don't have to work. Their whole goal is to get to a
00:22:32.560 point where they can kick their feet up on their desk, collect the money off the backs of other
00:22:36.240 people that are working for them and not do shit. If that's you, that perspective, you always have
00:22:41.840 people problems inside your company. So the answer to that is to have huge fucking plans for your
00:22:49.740 company and get really good at painting the fucking picture of how those plans are going to
00:22:54.460 materialize and what role these people will have in the future in terms of being a part of that
00:23:00.320 vision. Because if people can't fit their entire dreams and goals and life within the framework of
00:23:06.600 the big vision of what you're trying to build, they automatically pull themselves out mentally,
00:23:11.060 right? They're not going to buy in. It's going to be a job, not a career. So understanding where
00:23:16.200 you're going, understanding how you're going to get there, being determined, being a great
00:23:20.640 communicator in terms of how you're going to do this and what role the people that you have
00:23:26.540 are going to play in that is a tremendous advantage, especially in the beginning because
00:23:30.640 people will work not for starvation wages, but beginner wages, right? They will come in and see the,
00:23:40.920 you will have people that will come in and see the opportunity and put in the blood and sweat
00:23:44.800 equity. I have three or four guys here who have been here for 16 years. All of them are making a
00:23:50.620 fuck ton of money now. I've made good on those promises. I'm continuing to make good on those
00:23:55.180 promises. I have, you know, I'm looking out here and I got a hundred other people out here that in
00:24:00.060 another two or three years are all going to be making that same kind of money and everybody knows
00:24:03.940 it. So like when you get, when you take care of people and you do what you say you're going to do
00:24:08.160 and they can fit their dreams and their life and their vision underneath that big vision,
00:24:11.540 you're in a good spot. But the problem is most people don't do that. They try to pretend like
00:24:17.180 they're going to create this big fucking thing, but only get it to a point where they are making
00:24:22.520 some money and they put their feet up on the desk and then don't grow the company. Continual progress,
00:24:27.540 continual growth is very, very important. If your employees don't see your company growing,
00:24:32.500 they will lose momentum. They will find other things to do because like I said, everybody wants to
00:24:37.180 be a part of something that's winning and growing and is going to win. And if they see that you
00:24:42.200 aren't serious about doing that, they're not going to buy in, they're not going to work and they're
00:24:46.240 not going to be productive at any wage. You can't outpay that problem. So it doesn't matter if you're
00:24:51.060 paying little or a whole lot, if they don't see the fucking picture and don't understand it,
00:24:55.700 they won't, they won't be there to fucking dedicate to it. So my advice to someone who's just starting out
00:25:00.440 is to try to pay them as much as you can, that you can afford. You know, I have, when we were in that
00:25:06.200 position, I had a number of employees that got paid a lot more than me and I was the owner.
00:25:10.720 And so I did what I could and three of those guys are still here today and they're doing very well.
00:25:18.080 So, you know, in the beginning, you're going to have to sacrifice some of your pay to invest in
00:25:22.800 them. And that's how you should look at it. You should look at it as an investment in your company.
00:25:26.080 If your employees are handled properly, you pay them well, you invest in them personally,
00:25:32.000 you care about their lives, you care about their progress, you care about what they're building,
00:25:36.480 that's an investment that provides a really strong return. So instead of looking at your payroll as
00:25:41.740 an expense on your balance sheet, see it as an investment, but it can only be an investment when
00:25:47.160 you are actually investing in them. Bye. Yep. So you're going to say it? One for one.
00:25:53.720 Well, we're one for one, baby. Shaq at the free throw line. All right. So, so moving on, like,
00:25:59.980 like building off of that, right? You know, was Shaq good at free throws?
00:26:02.780 Shaq was not good at free throws. That was the joke. Thanks for that.
00:26:06.960 That was terrible. You got to explain the joke. It's not funny.
00:26:09.320 You can have that one back. Okay. Thank you.
00:26:11.580 Um, fuck. Uh, one for one.
00:26:15.060 We got to go to fucking joke school. Both of you motherfuckers.
00:26:17.880 Yeah. We'll let Emily teach it. Sorry, Mrs. Priscilla. All right. Next question. So, you
00:26:30.280 know, I, I know it to be true. I've been here for, you know, going on two years and I know
00:26:35.400 for a fact that your ability to care, genuinely care about your customers, about your, your
00:26:41.420 employees, it's fucking real, right? Like there's no doubt in my mind about it.
00:26:44.740 I only care about the ones that care about themselves. That's the point. That's the
00:26:49.000 point I made on the fucking rant that I said, if you're a complainer, if you're a fucking
00:26:53.100 loser, if you're a whiner, if you're a bitch baby, if you're a fucking, I I'm going to cry
00:26:58.100 the whole way. I don't care about you. I care about people that help themselves. If you're
00:27:03.100 willing to help yourself and you're willing to meet me a little bit along the way, I will
00:27:07.160 fucking give you fucking everything. But if you're not willing to do shit and you're just
00:27:11.580 going to complain and try to twist everything and make it this and that and this and this
00:27:15.520 and this and not listen and give me trouble, fuck off because I have a whole list of people
00:27:19.600 who are willing to do the work over here that I'm going to dedicate my time to. So thanks
00:27:23.380 for the clarification. That's real. That's real. So, so how do you, how do you spread your
00:27:29.620 ability to care, right? Like how do you teach that to your team? How do you teach that?
00:27:32.260 How did you teach that to everybody else? Right? Like, is that something you feel like
00:27:35.700 you have to hire people who inherently have that within them or is that something you had to
00:27:39.400 develop? I mean, I got, what's the answer on that? Well, when there's two, there's, there's
00:27:44.480 two parts to that answer. One, if you hire them in from somewhere who, who is a traditional
00:27:49.640 company that just teaches people how to sell, uh, they're going to have a hard time grasping
00:27:54.420 that concept. That concept is much easier to teach someone who's not already trained in
00:27:58.460 how to sell traditionally, which, you know, all the, the fucking hard selling bullshit that
00:28:03.800 a lot of companies do. Um, so I find that when you start with a blank slate, it's much easier to
00:28:09.660 get people to understand that if you care about people and solve their problems, that will actually
00:28:13.040 make the sale organically. Uh, then if you, uh, try to like, you know, prospect and, and, and,
00:28:19.600 you know, all these other things like cold call and prospect and fucking, you know, basically
00:28:25.480 you're trying to manipulate the sale because, uh, manipulate the person into the sale because
00:28:32.560 you're trying to get what you want. So when you take people who are fresh and you teach
00:28:36.880 them to genuinely solve people's problems, to, um, you know, be there for them to listen
00:28:44.040 to what they have to say, uh, to hold them to a standard, right? Like you have to tell
00:28:48.620 them the truth sometimes, especially in our business, you know, our products are not going
00:28:53.360 to do the work for you. You know what I mean? You have to fucking do your part. And I feel
00:28:58.960 like that's part of caring. Part of caring is the truth. You know, um, I don't, I subscribe
00:29:04.000 to the idea that the truth is actually the best thing you could do for someone. A lot
00:29:09.260 of people don't agree with that. They want to encourage people and make them feel like
00:29:13.880 they wrote the reason people don't believe in themselves is because they've been pandered
00:29:18.260 and catered to and fucking pacify their entire life. And they, they have this illusion that
00:29:23.620 they're going to have to put in very little work to get some sort of result. Right? So that
00:29:28.240 stops with taking accountability. It stops with being honest and it stops with telling
00:29:33.400 people the truth because once you get people to understand, like you said, the beginning
00:29:36.640 of the show, this is my fault. I put myself here. This is what I did. Now we're at a place
00:29:40.940 where we can move forward. Right. Then and only then. Yeah. Oh yeah, for sure, bro. And I'm
00:29:44.880 not here to drag you along. Like I said, do I value every customer? Yes. But those other
00:29:50.560 people are not my customers. Right. Those are Weight Watchers customers. Those are fucking slim
00:29:55.320 fast customers. They're not my customer. Okay. And I don't want them here because they dilute
00:30:00.140 the culture. They dilute the fucking company. They, they're not the people who are actually
00:30:04.020 going to get results. And if they come here and they don't get results, what's that say
00:30:07.320 about us? Right. Well, then they'll stop blaming on you guys. That's right. So I don't know. You
00:30:12.100 people are not my people. Yeah. And I'm very aware of that, you know? And that's why it's
00:30:16.120 funny when these people try to leverage me over and like, Oh dude, I don't like the way he
00:30:19.440 fucking talks. Well, good. Yeah. We'll talk Jenny Craig. She's nicer. You know, dude, you're
00:30:25.100 laughing, but I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm being fucking serious. I know. I know. Yeah. I know.
00:30:30.000 Like, I don't understand. I don't understand. So the point is here is, is that, um, if you care
00:30:37.220 about people and solve their problems, they will buy your shit. It's very simple. If you, if you try to
00:30:44.920 manipulate them into, into them buying some shit from you, um, they might buy it once or twice,
00:30:51.440 but they won't stay. Right. So would you rather have to, uh, always be digging for new customers
00:30:58.960 or would you rather build a productive, uh, you know, mutually beneficial relationship with people
00:31:04.920 where they're getting what they want. And by default, when they get what they want, you get what you want.
00:31:08.980 Right. That's how I like to operate. That's why I run the podcast the way I do. That's why I don't run
00:31:13.060 ads. Okay. That's why I don't run ads for the show. That's why I don't run ads on the show.
00:31:17.400 That's why I give 75 hard away for free. And you know what? Yeah, I do charge for the book
00:31:21.980 because I know that if people do the program and they like the program, which if you do it properly
00:31:27.760 and you don't try to fuck with it, it will change your fucking life. And guess what will happen?
00:31:31.860 You'll buy the book because I delivered value first. That's the way the world works. That's how I
00:31:36.600 operate literally everything. And that's also why I'm not held captive to these fucking crazy fucks.
00:31:42.260 You know what I mean? Cause I don't, the value is undeniable. The value is undeniable and it's
00:31:46.940 offered first. You don't have to buy to get it. See what I'm saying? But what happens is, is when
00:31:51.920 you, when you, when you over deliver on the value, people want to contribute back. And so most of the
00:31:57.820 people that buy this book because they've changed their whole lives, a lot of those people are buying
00:32:02.580 the book to give to their friends. Like you wouldn't believe we have fucking tens of thousands of
00:32:06.460 people that buy that book for other people because it changed their life so much. You know what I'm
00:32:10.660 saying? So like the value exchange has to be disproportionately in favor of them, meaning
00:32:16.460 they receive more than what you're asking them in return for dollars. It's really, really simple.
00:32:23.160 It just takes guts and courage to execute because it's, it's counterintuitive to what most businesses
00:32:28.000 try to do, right? Most businesses try to lock people in on a fucking, on a, you know, up sale,
00:32:33.740 and then they forget about them, right? Well, you're not upholding the, the ethical standard
00:32:38.380 of business now. Businesses don't exist to make you money. Businesses exist to solve problems and
00:32:43.720 the businesses that solve problems are the ones that make money. So most people just think about
00:32:47.520 it backwards. If you ask 90% of people, what's the 99% of people, Hey, what's the purpose of being
00:32:52.360 in business?
00:32:52.540 We get rich, man. That's it makes money. And that's why only 1% of the people, 1% of the
00:32:57.920 companies actually fucking become those companies because they're totally looking at it the wrong
00:33:02.100 way. So that's fucking, uh, I'd say that's two for two. All right. So, uh, again, time machine,
00:33:11.040 let's get back to, to when you were first getting started, how, or maybe even now, I mean, I'm sure
00:33:17.080 you probably still have these conversations with yourself, but how do you differentiate what goes
00:33:20.920 on the back burner and what stays out in the front when you're trying to pursue your goals,
00:33:24.840 right? IE, you know, your friends, your family, your hobbies, your fucking, you know, whatever
00:33:29.380 it is, how do you differentiate what's on the back burner for you and what stays in the front?
00:33:38.300 So I think, and what I've learned is that you have to be selfish in order to even be selfless.
00:33:46.160 Okay. Meaning you have to have all your shit in order for you to effectively help other people
00:33:52.240 with their shit. So, uh, I think a lot of people put that backwards and a lot of people think they've
00:33:58.420 got to do all these other things for other people and they put themselves last or they've got to do
00:34:02.720 everything for their company and they put themselves last. That's the wrong way to do it. In my opinion,
00:34:07.660 in my opinion, and from what I found with my experience is that when you take care of your body,
00:34:11.540 you take care of your mind, you do all the things that you have to do for you up front. Um, it makes
00:34:16.500 you far more effective at handling everything that needs to be handled for everybody else,
00:34:19.840 whether it be a company, whether it be your friends, whether it be your family, whether it
00:34:23.540 be other obligations, um, you're just better when you're better. And so making sure that, you know,
00:34:30.760 you're putting good things in your brain, making sure you're putting good things in your body,
00:34:33.780 making sure you have your business in line, making like all those things can be called selfish,
00:34:39.040 right? They're always called selfish by people that don't really understand. You know, when you
00:34:42.980 start out on a fitness program or you start a new business and you're dedicating a disproportionate
00:34:46.760 amount of time, what do people generally call you selfish? Right. But from what I've seen,
00:34:52.560 and this goes for me and all of my friends that are successful that you guys all follow,
00:34:57.740 every single one of them puts themselves first, understanding that that allows them to have
00:35:03.340 more to pour out of their cup for everybody else later. So, um, I think most people think it's
00:35:11.100 the opposite, but, uh, most elite performers, highly successful people, uh, understand what I
00:35:16.680 just said. Yeah. So that's how I would look at it. That's what, so you, you, you would say that
00:35:20.020 there's basically essentially no backburn. No, I don't. I mean, there's burners, right? But like,
00:35:26.520 I, I don't, I don't think of it like that. Like I don't ever move shit off prime priority list.
00:35:30.820 It's just, it's different though, dude, for me, like I've got a team of people now. Like when I
00:35:36.060 was, when it was just me, I still, when it was just me, I operated the opposite of what I just
00:35:40.740 said, because I thought that's what had to do. That's how it's supposed to be. Yeah. But, but
00:35:43.820 here's the problem that handicapped me because I was fucking fat. I was fucking drinking a lot.
00:35:50.000 Um, my mind was always cluttered. I didn't feel good. I was unhappy, which made me worse at all the
00:35:55.520 other things that I did. Right. So my advice for people is to make taking care of the things for
00:36:05.180 you, the first thing that you do in the day. And, and it will work itself out for other people and
00:36:11.280 other projects and other things as you go. Like it's, it's like broke. It's like cutting down a
00:36:16.340 tree, right? Like you got an ax. Okay. And you're going to try to cut down the tree. Um, and the ax
00:36:21.380 blade is dull. It's going to take how many, it's going to take you 10 times as long to cut that
00:36:26.440 tree down. Then if you just stop for five minutes and fucking sharpen the blade, you know what I'm
00:36:30.360 saying? So that's, that's how you need to think about it. Being selfish to be selfless. I love
00:36:35.340 that bro. That's three for three guys. For sure. Three for three fucking fire after a 20 minute rant
00:36:40.600 on fucking whatever, dude, man. Sometimes that shit's necessary. Look, dude, sometimes that shit's
00:36:44.380 necessary. Listen, I, it is what it is, man. I keep it real. Like I'm not over here trying to fluff
00:36:49.540 you guys or blow up your skirt and make you feel good about, you know, feeling good, feeling good
00:36:54.080 about like being born. Like you're not meant to just like exist and have everything delivered to
00:36:59.520 you. The, the, the, the, the greatest thing about life is the investment that you make in yourself,
00:37:06.400 uh, and the improvements that you make. And then what you build off of that, that's the joy of life,
00:37:13.220 dude. And like spending time with, with quality relationships that you've built because you've
00:37:17.460 built yourself first, et cetera, et cetera. You're missing out on everything. Like these people
00:37:22.160 who sit at home and criticize everything and want everybody to do everything for them.
00:37:25.800 And everything is everybody else's fault. And I don't like the way this guy talks, or I don't like
00:37:30.860 the way they do this, or I'm going to change this or that or this. Those people are like, you guys don't
00:37:36.060 understand. You're letting life pass you by completely, like completely pass you, pass you by because
00:37:41.720 you've chosen to be a fucking victim. You've chosen to be mediocre. You've chosen to do the bare
00:37:45.840 minimum. And dude, I, those people just ain't my people, man. You know, for real, like you could
00:37:50.360 scroll through fucking iTunes business podcast and find, you know, 50 podcasts for every one
00:37:57.440 of mine. That's the truth. So you're going to find 50 other podcasts that are going to tell you all
00:38:02.600 the pacifying positivity. You know, you can do it. Shit. I'm not saying you can't do it, but what I
00:38:09.100 am saying is you can't do it with that attitude and you can't do it with the attitude that it's not
00:38:12.940 your fault. It is your fucking fault. You can't do it with the attitude of you're going to fix
00:38:17.140 everything and modify everything that comes to you because the circumstances of the world don't
00:38:21.600 modify themselves for you. The reason you struggle right now is because you try to make everything
00:38:25.680 fucking fit you. You know, we started this shit 20 fucking years ago, participation trophies.
00:38:30.320 Oh, little Johnny got left out. He didn't get a trophy. And instead of saying, well, little Johnny
00:38:34.340 needs to go fucking practice. So let's give him one to make him feel good. And now it's created a
00:38:38.760 generation of adults who literally think that's the way it works. It just doesn't. And I don't
00:38:43.500 care how popular it gets. I don't care how much momentum it gets, which by the way, it's losing
00:38:49.120 momentum if you haven't figured it out. I don't care how socially acceptable it gets, which is
00:38:54.080 getting less socially acceptable if you haven't figured it out. Accountability, freedom, taking
00:38:59.720 responsibility, self-reliance. Those are coming back hard as fuck. Okay. So you can either get on the
00:39:05.120 train or you can get left behind. But I'm telling you right now, that culture of winning, that culture
00:39:09.300 of dominating, that culture of kicking ass, it's on the comeback. It ain't on the fucking come down.
00:39:13.840 The last 10 years we've had been on the come down. Now it's on the come up because people are realizing
00:39:18.320 what it produces. It produces fucking shit. It produces a bunch of fucking weak ass motherfuckers
00:39:23.480 that can't handle their own fucking lives. And then in turn, turn on everybody else and criticize
00:39:29.660 their lives because they can't and aren't willing to do what it takes. And dude, those people to me
00:39:36.480 are not important to me. They're not important. I'm not trying to convince you. You people out
00:39:41.300 there that listen to this show and you think, oh, dude, I don't like the way this or that or this and
00:39:45.900 this and this. You're not my fucking customer. You're never going to be. Never were. I don't even
00:39:51.460 want you. I don't even want you. I want people that are not going to make excuses. I want people who
00:39:56.200 are going to be willing to work. I want people who are willing to be honest. I want people who
00:40:00.320 are willing to fucking meet in the middle and do their part. And those are the people I'm speaking
00:40:05.400 to. I'm not speaking to these other motherfuckers.
00:40:07.520 Went from sleeping on the floor. Now my jewelry box froze. Fuck a pole. Fuck a stove. Counted millions
00:40:13.700 in the cold. Bad bitch. Booty swole. Got her on bankroll. Can't fold. Doesn't know. Headshot. Case closed.
