00:00:00.000 What is up guys, it's Andy Priscilla and this is the show for the realists, say goodbye 0.99
00:00:20.800 to the lies, the fakeness and delusions of modern society and welcome to motherfucking 0.99
00:00:25.100 reality guys. Today we have Q and AF. Q means question, AF means, I'm not sure what that 0.99
00:00:32.020 means. I think it means answers, the Andy Priscilla answer. That's what we were thinking when we
00:00:38.600 did that. Is that accurate? Yes. Okay. Then we have CTI sometimes, that's cruise the internet.
00:00:44.260 That's where we put up the internet headlines, the propaganda and we dissect it and make fun 1.00
00:00:52.320 of how dumb these people are for thinking that we're that dumb. That's also very accurate. 0.99
00:00:58.600 Yes. Then we have real talk, which is where I get on here and basically tell you that you
00:01:03.700 need to step up your shit and that you're fucking up everybody's game by being a loser. That's 1.00
00:01:09.120 accurate too. That's also very accurate. Yeah. And then we have full length, which we have
00:01:12.480 a really, we've had some, we have Ian Smith this last week. Now we got, dude, we got a
00:01:17.020 big guest coming in this week. We got some people coming in this week. Yeah. You guys
00:01:19.540 are going to fucking love it. So stay tuned for that. But that's basically where I bring 0.99
00:01:23.860 in interesting, successful people who have overcome hard shit and they talk about it and 0.78
00:01:31.700 we, we get better together. So that's what full length's about. So that's what you may 0.70
00:01:35.460 get when you tune in. Most of it is, is very serious with, with the rest of the most of it
00:01:43.360 being comedy. Um, that that's accurate too, right? Like 60% of the time it works all the
00:01:51.060 time. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So today we got Q and AF. Where do these cues come from
00:01:58.080 DJ? These cues come from Q. No, the cues come from people listening to the show. Oh my God.
00:02:03.640 Right. Illuminati right there. No, but guys, if you, uh, if you, if you want to have your question
00:02:09.000 asked and answered, uh, email those questions in to ask Andy at any for seller.com that can be about
00:02:15.640 anything. Yeah. Life. So the Q and AF show guys, what we try to do, uh, for those of you who have
00:02:20.640 just tuned in the last couple of years, um, it's been mostly social issues, but previously to this
00:02:27.240 show, I had a show called the MF CEO project, which was the number one entrepreneurship business
00:02:31.800 success show of all times on iTunes. Um, the, it, the episodes are still available. And if you scroll
00:02:38.180 down the feed of real AF, you could scroll way back and you'll eventually find the start of the
00:02:43.560 MF CEO project. Um, that project was called a project for a reason because way back in 2015,
00:02:53.600 uh, I recognized that we had a culture problem and we had a problem of not understanding what it
00:02:58.640 really took to win. And so I dedicated years of my life to teaching how to actually win. And those
00:03:05.160 principles are still accurate. So if you want to go back and listen, uh, you can go check those out.
00:03:10.120 They're all for free. Um, you'll definitely recognize that I sucked at podcasting when I
00:03:15.680 start. And the reason I leave these up and don't redo them is because I want you to understand
00:03:19.680 that everybody sucks and shit when they start. Now I just kind of suck, you know? So I got a little 0.99
00:03:25.740 bit better, but, uh, but Hey man, we got to get better. You know, we got to get better as a country.
00:03:31.040 You know, I, I spend a lot of time. DJ spends a lot of time. These guys in here spend a lot of
00:03:35.020 time, you know, talking about the problems. Everybody's talking about the fucking problems, 1.00
00:03:39.520 but we do things a little bit different because we talk about the solution and all these solutions 0.99
00:03:44.360 start with you. So that's what this Q and AF show is. It's sort of like our way of helping
00:03:50.380 provide solutions, uh, to the problems that are happening. So bring on your shit. 1.00
00:03:56.040 Yeah. Let's do it. All right. Andy, question number one. Um, what is something, 1.00
00:04:00.400 since you've been in business for 23 years, right? What's something that you realize that
00:04:05.000 most entrepreneurs tend to focus on that you think is kind of pointless? Like what's
00:04:09.640 something they put too much focus on when they should be focused on X? What other people
00:04:14.160 think. Okay. Like, like, dude, look, haters, quote unquote haters. Um, you know, I've spoken
00:04:21.340 on some of the biggest state, like biggest stages in the fucking planet. And some of these 0.99
00:04:27.320 stages, it's so bizarre because some of these stages, um, are filled. The audience is filled
00:04:32.940 with, with people who want to know how to be successful. And the most common question that
00:04:38.340 I've received over the last decade of doing this is always, man, how do you deal with haters?
00:04:46.820 How do you deal with people that don't believe in you? And it's very simple. Okay. Once you,
00:04:52.800 first of all, you have to understand that nobody really gives a shit what the fuck you're doing. 0.99
00:04:58.680 Okay. They might talk about you for a brief moment, but you are not important enough for them to 0.99
00:05:04.360 actually focus on. And what's happening is your ego is getting in control of your mind, talk,
00:05:10.020 your mental dialogue, and you are obsessing and overestimating your own self importance to think 0.98
00:05:16.240 that these people actually truly give a fuck about you. Now they might actually give a fleeting opinion
00:05:21.680 about you. They might say, Oh, look at this guy. He thinks he's going to turn his little vitamin
00:05:26.460 store into this, like you're a fucking idiot. But it stops there. Right? Like they don't, 1.00
00:05:30.680 it does, they don't obsess on it. So like we tend to overvalue these fleeting opinions that these
00:05:36.020 mental midgets have of us. Uh, and that's the truth. That's the second point. The second point is 0.95
00:05:41.440 you shouldn't worry about people's opinions that aren't doing what it is you want to do.
00:05:47.220 Look at their life. Look at what their goals are. Look at what they're going to achieve.
00:05:51.820 Look at what their ambitions are. Do you want that? If you don't want that, you shouldn't value
00:05:56.280 what they have to say about it. The third thing is most of the criticism that we, uh, obsess over
00:06:02.940 is made up. Meaning we come up with the idea in our own head and amplify that voice. All right.
00:06:09.620 So what happens is, um, people do this, they, they, they come up with an idea, right? Or something
00:06:15.820 they want to do. Uh, and they say, okay, well, I'm going to do this. And then they, they were like,
00:06:20.500 okay, but if I do this, what's so-and-so going to say, well, so-and-so is going to say this.
00:06:25.100 And then so-and-so is going to say that. And then the so-and-so, so-and-so is going to say this
00:06:29.900 to that. And we come up with this fake dialogue of what people haven't even fucking said, 0.94
00:06:35.800 or even indicated that they would say we completely imagine it. And then we pretend as if it's real 0.93
00:06:42.320 and we don't take action. Okay. So what's that actually mean? That means that you are actually
00:06:47.920 your own worst hater. Okay. And you have to eliminate that. And then fourthly, the, the main
00:06:53.320 thing that I think is really important for everybody to realize is that you are not entitled to other
00:07:00.340 people's belief when you haven't created anything. Right. Right. Like what, what, if people
00:07:05.680 don't believe in you, ask yourself what you've done to make them believe in you. Okay. If you say
00:07:11.280 you're going to build a million dollar business or a $10 million business or, or beyond, um, and people
00:07:18.800 say, well, I don't really think you can do that. Well, that's going to be their natural reaction
00:07:24.200 because they don't have any perspective to judge what your abilities are or aren't because you
00:07:28.880 haven't shown them. There's nothing there to see. Yes. So, so it's a fake entitlement. Like it's,
00:07:34.280 it's a false belief. It's a false expectation. And when you lose that expectation, um, and by the
00:07:39.900 way, you should also throw away the expectation that everybody's going to like you. That's also
00:07:44.440 something that everybody feels entitled for that holds them back. Okay. So drop the expectation that
00:07:51.000 people are going to believe in you and drop the expectation that people are going to like you and 0.98
00:07:54.340 get the fuck to work. That's what it is. That's what you focus on. Yeah. And the truth of the matter 0.98
00:07:58.940 is, is you don't really get any real hate until you're actually doing shit. And by that point, 0.99
00:08:04.480 you're not going to give a fuck what those people have to say. You, you're going to get to a point 0.99
00:08:08.560 where you look back at the shit people told you, like I do now. And I laugh, like I legit laugh. 0.99
00:08:15.620 Like one of my favorite things to say when I walked through my building is like, man,
00:08:19.820 cool little vitamin shop, huh? Right. Like it's a fucking running joke between me and all my
00:08:24.480 successful friends. Okay. So you'll get to that point, but only if you don't allow yourself to 0.99
00:08:30.820 stop you from taking action to get to that point. The whole fucking myth is that there's some unseen 0.96
00:08:38.260 force that is in control of your outcomes. And that's just not true. It's what you do over a long 0.99
00:08:46.700 period of time when everybody else is switching every two or three fucking months or every year to 0.97
00:08:52.400 something different. And you're digging in on the same thing over and over and over and mastering 0.96
00:08:59.660 that path, becoming the world's most foremost expert on that fucking path. While you're doing 0.99
00:09:08.340 that and these people are all having these little small wins, it's going to feel like you're fucking 0.99
00:09:12.140 losing. Yeah. But at the end of the day, if you want to win on a massive scale, you're going to do 0.99
00:09:18.820 what I'm talking about. You're going to dig into something. You're going to make it your life.
00:09:22.360 You're going to become the best that you fucking can at it. And hopefully it's something that you 0.94
00:09:26.620 enjoy because we spend a lot of time doing things for our livelihood. And if you don't enjoy it,
00:09:31.540 it's going to feel like pain, right? But if you enjoy it, the time will pass and you'll say,
00:09:35.720 man, I lived a happy life. I actually like this for me. I like resistance for me. I'm a natural
00:09:41.200 born fighter for me, stand in front of my way so I can run you the fuck over. That's what drives me. 1.00
00:09:46.700 So I seek that out and I love it. Yeah. Right. So like not everybody's that way, by the way,
00:09:53.500 and that's okay. But I'm just saying, get yourself in a place where you appreciate the challenges for
00:09:58.800 what they are because they teach you so much and you'll be in a good spot. Yeah. That make sense?
00:10:04.100 I fucking love it. I love it. Most of this shit is made up in your head. Yeah. Bro, 0.95
00:10:09.560 like nobody gives a fuck. Well, you fill in the blank. It's not even just by the time they're 0.99
00:10:12.660 actually talking about you. Yeah. You won't care. Yeah. Like, like, like I'm to the point now
00:10:17.420 where people actually talk about me, but it's funny. Yeah. Now you're like, Oh, yeah. Right.
00:10:22.860 Exactly. But when I was younger and I thought everybody was talking about me, it was fucking 0.98
00:10:28.200 agonizing, you know? Cause I'm like, Oh dude. And I, I used to always be very like accommodating 0.60
00:10:34.500 to other people's opinions of me and try to like fix them opinions. I wouldn't even real
00:10:39.720 dude. It was, it was, it was a sad way to live and it was fucking brutal mentally. Um, 0.97
00:10:45.900 if you truly want to free yourself, let go of the expectation that people should like you
00:10:50.140 or that all people should like you. Okay. Let go of the expectation that people are going
00:10:54.740 to believe in you. Let go of those two expectations and move forward. Your, your life will be much
00:10:59.500 more peaceful. Yeah. That's real, man. It's funny too. Cause I saw this post, uh, one of my
00:11:03.680 friends that made on Facebook the other day, he's like, he posted this meme and it's like,
00:11:07.860 you know, the support versus the congratulations. Right. It's like one of those memes. And it's
00:11:11.900 like, Oh no, when you're posting, you know, you're out at the club, you got 300 likes and 0.98
00:11:16.100 you post, you start a new business, you get fucking 15. Yeah. He posted an icon. I said, 0.98
00:11:20.100 I'm like, bro, what do you expect? You know what I'm saying? Like, like those are people
00:11:23.600 who are leaving, leading mediocre lives. I see this entitlement all the time. What do you
00:11:29.060 want for people? Once you start to recognize the entitlement that people
00:11:33.440 have in there, it's really, it's, it's really absurd to be honest. Like I see these people
00:11:39.760 that make posts and they're like, Oh, respect is a two way street and blah, blah, blah. And
00:11:44.980 treating, you know, and it's like, I'm like, bro, you know, like, what are you bringing to
00:11:49.820 the table? Like, what do you bring? You know, let's start being honest with what we bring
00:11:54.800 to the table. Yeah. Let's start being honest about the fucking fruits that we're producing.
00:11:58.600 Let's start being honest about should people actually believe in us or should they not believe 0.99
00:12:03.240 in us? Because we've never done anything that we actually said we were going to do. Right.
00:12:06.860 Like if we're honest with ourselves and we drop the entitlement that everybody else is supposed 0.99
00:12:10.960 to treat us this certain way because we were fucking born. Um, you start to move in the right 0.96
00:12:16.820 direction, right? You should start looking at these things like respect and, uh, admiration and belief
00:12:23.680 and all of these things that you want when you have nothing as something to be earned.
00:12:28.840 And the funny thing is once you earn them, you won't value them as much. Like I don't give a
00:12:32.660 fuck. Like, and this is the truth. This is the truth. You know, this is the truth. You're around 0.99
00:12:37.300 me enough. I do not give a fuck what people think like at all. Like I'm me, whether I'm in the nicest 0.99
00:12:43.740 restaurant in the fucking world with fucking Donald Trump or whether I'm with a homeless dude on the 1.00
00:12:49.720 corner, shooting the shit, right? Like I'm the, who the fuck I am. And if you don't like it, 1.00
00:12:54.460 that's okay. Uh, you know, I'm not saying, Hey, fuck you. If you don't like me, like we can have 1.00
00:12:59.320 a discussion, but it doesn't bother me. Yeah. You get what I'm saying? And too many people let the
00:13:05.600 opinions of others affect them in a way that paralyzes them from doing what they need to do
00:13:11.600 to get where they want to go. And then, so you end up living a half-ass life because you didn't want
00:13:16.500 to offend someone. It didn't give a fuck about you anyway. Right. Say that shit. Yeah. You see 0.99
00:13:21.100 what I'm saying? Yeah. So like, dude, you got to decide what it is you want. You got to go after
00:13:26.040 it with all you have and, and be who you are all the time, no matter who's around. And that does not
00:13:33.760 mean be disrespectful. I mean, dude, there's a lot of people think that's what that means. That's not
00:13:38.960 what I mean. What I mean is be who you are. Like, don't, don't dim your shine because you think
00:13:46.480 you're in the presence of people who are better than you. Nobody's fucking better than you and 0.98
00:13:50.320 nobody's worse than you. They're just different than you. Okay. So I could just tell you, dude, 1.00
00:13:56.340 when I, when I started living authentically who I am at all times, and I dropped the, dropped the
00:14:03.420 expectation of people have to like me or, and I dropped the expectation of people need to believe
00:14:09.140 what I say or believe in me. My life got a lot fucking less stressful and a lot less anxiety and a lot
00:14:14.340 easier to live and a lot easier to win. Yeah. Cause I'm not carrying around all this fucking
00:14:18.180 bullshit. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Like, dude, you know how many times a week someone 1.00
00:14:22.660 says, Oh Andy, I, I like what you say, but blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, cool. Yeah. Like
00:14:27.500 your, your feedback is not important to me. Right. I'm not here to please you. I'm here to share
00:14:32.600 myself and teach and contribute what I know. Right. You know what I'm saying? I'm not here to dance
00:14:38.440 to your song that you want me to dance to. Like I'm who the fuck I am. Right. And if more people 1.00
00:14:43.720 live that way, we'd have a better planet. I'm gonna do my two step and keep it moving. Yeah.
00:14:49.480 You know what I'm saying? Oh, 100% man. Too many people spend their lives pretending to be something
00:14:53.360 they think the whole entire world wants them to be when it's not even what they want to be
00:14:56.360 themselves. Yeah. Andy, question number two, uh, when someone approaches you to invest in their
00:15:04.400 company, what are the main things you look at or for, uh, to the side? If you're going to invest
00:15:09.800 or not, I only invest in people. I don't invest in ideas or fucking, uh, companies or potential of 0.95
00:15:16.940 what they, that's not how I invest. I invest in people. Um, I don't invest in very many things. 0.97
00:15:23.840 And the reason I don't invest in very, very many things is because I don't see the winning
00:15:27.440 qualities in very many people. Um, you know, one of my most, it could be a billion dollar
00:15:32.380 fucking business plan, but that person is not, got, ain't got a shit together. You don't want it. 0.99
00:15:36.680 Yeah. And plus on top of it, dude, like I just don't like most people. Like, I just don't think
00:15:41.100 they work hard enough. I don't think that they take it serious enough. I don't think that they're
00:15:44.480 in business for the right reasons. And when I say I don't like them, I don't like them as an
00:15:48.360 investment partner because I just don't think they fuck. I just don't think they work as hard as me. 0.99
00:15:52.500 I don't think they're into it as much as I am. That's the truth. You know what I'm saying?
00:15:56.200 Like you, I'm here every fucking day. Like I, we are at the point where most people run the, 0.97
00:16:01.580 running a company, my size. Um, and I have multiple companies that are big, uh, that
00:16:06.800 they wouldn't come to the office. You know what I'm saying? Like I'm here every motherfucking day.
00:16:11.760 Right. Um, and like I, if I don't see that in someone, I'm not going to invest in them 0.97
00:16:16.380 because that's what it takes for an average person to win. And I don't see anybody out here.
00:16:20.760 Uh, I see a lot of people pretending to be better than everybody else, but I don't see anybody out
00:16:24.180 here that's special. I see people who are willing to do the work and who aren't willing to do the work.
00:16:28.380 That's what I see. One of my biggest investments, um,
00:16:31.580 that I made, uh, is in a, uh, in a company called Una Vita. Um, and you know, the reason I invested
00:16:40.340 in that company was because the two dudes who are at the time it was three dudes. Um, they,
00:16:46.960 I was fucking, uh, we were at the old HQ and I walked in and there was these like dudes sitting 0.82
00:16:54.600 there and like, I just, you know, I don't know who they're there for. Like, I just keep running 0.92
00:16:58.520 about my business. That was like a Monday. Right. And I don't remember the exact days.
00:17:03.080 It could have been a Wednesday, but I'm just saying like, for the sake of the story is let's
00:17:06.760 just say it was Monday. Right. Um, I, I asked a couple of the guys, I'm like, who are these guys?
00:17:14.520 And they're like, Oh, these guys are with this company. They were with another tequila brand.
00:17:18.580 Um, and, um, I came in the next week and there they were again. And then like two weeks later,
00:17:27.820 there they were again. And finally I'm like, Hey, why are these guys all always here? Yeah.
00:17:33.220 And, uh, they were like, you're running the company. Like, is there something I don't know
00:17:36.300 about? Yeah. Like I'm, I'm like, what are these dudes doing here? Like I thought they were here to
00:17:39.800 like, I didn't, I just didn't know. Yeah. And, um, one of the guys here was like, well,
00:17:45.900 they're here to talk to you. I'm like, well, you know, they've been here like four times. Like
00:17:49.760 no one told me that. Right. And then, then what I found out was they had been driving 16 hours from
00:17:59.180 Denver to St. Louis for me to meet with them. And so what was happening was, which I was unaware of
00:18:06.020 was that they were driving, sitting in my fucking lobby, hoping to fucking grab me for five seconds 0.99
00:18:11.060 and make small talk so they could get an introduction. All right. So then it turned into, 1.00
00:18:15.900 well, Hey, we just want to sit down. And then they drove into town. I don't know. I think,
00:18:19.900 I think at the end of the end of the count, it was like 19 times before I gave them. Yeah. And
00:18:24.960 without me asking. Yeah. So they started showing up every now and then, you know, asking questions
00:18:29.900 like, Hey Andy, we, we, you know, do you have literally five minutes? And, um, you know, they
00:18:37.160 would sit down with me and they would say, Hey, we're going to set this up. We're going to do
00:18:39.940 this. What do you think? What would you do? And, and I would tell them and they would fucking
00:18:43.540 do it. And by the time they came back, they had done what I told them to do. And, uh, 0.99
00:18:48.800 eventually they got, they, they, they came in and I remember like looking at them and 0.99
00:18:52.160 I'm like, Hey, uh, are you motherfuckers going to ask me to invest in this or what the fuck 1.00
00:18:55.920 are you like? Why are you like, I'm not, if I'm going to keep telling you how to build 0.99
00:19:00.480 your company, I'd like to fucking buy some, you know what I'm saying? So, uh, so I recognized 0.89
00:19:05.880 that they were willing to do things that were hard. I recognize they were willing to execute.
00:19:10.080 I recognize that they had persistence. I recognize that they were willing to do whatever the fuck 0.99
00:19:14.860 it takes. And now we're five years later or whatever, four years later into it. And these 0.99
00:19:19.320 dudes are fucking crushing. Right. You know, like I'm not saying they're making tons of money 0.99
00:19:23.840 right now, but like the business is growing in an omnipresent fucking direction. And it's 0.96
00:19:28.500 amazing. And they'll be one of the biggest, I guarantee you in 20 years, 15 more years, they
00:19:33.440 will be one of the biggest brands in the world because they have that. They have the grits,
00:19:40.320 the grit mentality. You know what I'm saying? The grit fortitude. I'm going to do whatever
00:19:45.220 the fuck it takes mentality. And they don't get in their own way. Like the last question, 0.99
00:19:49.120 right? They just go execute. Right. And if you fucking execute, you will win. Yeah. And
00:19:53.380 I recognize that as an investor. So, you know, like everybody now everybody says, Oh, I'd do
00:20:00.400 that. I do that. I do that. But dude, I'm going to tell you from experience about 0.001%
00:20:06.800 of people will actually do what they were willing to do to build that company. Yeah. For that
00:20:11.740 amount of time. Yeah. That amount. Yeah. So it is what it is. And by the way, don't do
00:20:16.180 that. Cause like, I'll just kick you out at this point. Like I, I I'm, I'm not doing that
00:20:21.620 no more, but we're in a different phase of business now. Yeah. Like I don't email your questions
00:20:26.340 to ask Andy at any, but that's how it happened. Yeah. That's real. You know, and that's the
00:20:33.140 true story. And, um, you know, that's what I look to invest in. Like if you could prove
00:20:38.500 to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that you're going to fucking win, I'll probably be willing 0.95
00:20:42.120 to invest some money in you. But, um, you know, that hasn't been the case because there's 0.73
00:20:47.540 been so much easy money in the world. There's been a lot of bad businesses that have got a
00:20:52.540 big investment seeds that never pan out because these people are bad operators.
00:20:56.600 Right. You know? So it's not even that the plan is bad, dude. And like, that's another
00:21:01.200 thing. Like a lot of these, like you guys think you're missing motivation or whatever.
00:21:06.120 You're not, you're missing massive amounts of discipline. You're missing toughness. You're
00:21:10.700 missing grit. You're missing fortitude. And you're missing the skills to actually operate
00:21:14.960 a company. And this motivation shit that you guys consume all the time is fucking garbage. 1.00
00:21:19.600 It's the truth. Yeah. Like, I don't like motivation shit makes me want to fucking puke. 1.00
00:21:24.440 It just does. It just does. Andy, question number three. How do you find the stability 1.00
00:21:33.560 of everyday actions, right? While maintaining the outlook of that big picture goal? How do
00:21:40.400 you not get lost in the big picture and vice versa, not get lost in the daily actions and
00:21:45.100 not forget what you're doing? I use the powerless, dude. Powerless is a tool to do that.
00:21:49.600 The powerless. Um, if you go back to episode 16 on the real AFV and listen to it, it's a
00:21:54.600 free concept. You can do it. Use your own fucking notebook. Uh, now I, do I sell a journal
00:21:59.120 that does this for you and teaches you? Yes, I do. And it's very nice. And if you buy it
00:22:03.320 awesome, but you don't have to. And in fact, I never actually used the journal. I fucking
00:22:08.060 use the notebook. So you have the same fucking tools I had available to you. I gave it to you 1.00
00:22:11.760 for fucking free. It's episode 16. So after this podcast, go listen to episode 16, listen 0.99
00:22:17.020 to the method that I described in detail and do that for the next 1000 fucking days. And 0.97
00:22:22.760 then come back and tell me how hard this is. The problem here is that people lack the ability
00:22:28.080 to create the vision that they actually want to get to, and then deduce the steps backwards
00:22:34.940 to the point of origin of where you are today and create the steps forward to that. That's
00:22:40.740 what we're talking about. So you go, you're going to sit down, you're going to fucking come 0.99
00:22:45.280 up with exactly where you want to be, bro. And, and, and where you're going to want to 0.97
00:22:50.040 be will change later, but you shouldn't worry about that right now. You pick this fucking 0.99
00:22:53.880 idea. You say, this is what I see. This is how I see my company. This is how I see myself. 1.00
00:22:59.420 This is where I see it. Okay. I think that can be accomplished in 10 years. And by the way,
00:23:05.600 for any of you on any of your goals with the technology that we have right now, 10 years is 0.97
00:23:09.740 an acceptable amount of time to get where the fuck you want to go. So it wasn't always
00:23:14.160 that way. Okay. It's taken me a lot longer because for the first fucking 10 years I was
00:23:18.220 in business, we didn't have the shit y'all have. So like I get these young dudes, I did 0.99
00:23:21.840 what you did and fucking, no, first of all, you didn't do what I did. You're not even 0.98
00:23:25.380 fucking close to what I did. And motherfucker, you got all the fucking tools in the world. 1.00
00:23:29.060 And if you ain't fucking making money with them right now, then there's something wrong 1.00
00:23:31.480 with your brain. All right. Yeah. You had a fucking telegrams and shit. 0.99
00:23:35.160 Oh shit. We were sending each other fucking asses for fucking Morse code, bro. 1.00
00:23:41.040 We're opening the Pony Express, right? So, so like, dude, it is real. The technology cuts 1.00
00:23:49.380 off years of time if you fucking use it properly. But the problem is too, there's a lot of these 0.97
00:23:54.640 young bucks master one aspect of the technology. Let's say like selling widgets through e-com 0.99
00:24:00.080 and fucking ads and shit. And then they never can build something and they're spending their 1.00
00:24:04.140 whole life selling a widget after a widget, after a widget, after a widget, after a widget
00:24:07.540 because they don't lack the skills to operate a company or build a brand. Right. So that's
00:24:12.260 a big thing. But, um, Hey, what was a fun question? Uh, just about goals. Okay. Yeah,
00:24:17.880 that's right. So you have to create this vision at the top line of what it is that you're
00:24:24.140 trying to accomplish. And then you have to work back. Okay. And take it all the way
00:24:29.760 back to where you are now. All right. In time and say, okay, what actions do I need to do
00:24:36.140 today to get me to, to this point? Right. Yeah. And that's what the power list does. It
00:24:42.580 holds you accountable for your daily critical tasks. It's not a to-do list. Critical tasks
00:24:49.280 are tasks that you do daily that move you towards where it is you're trying to get to. They are
00:24:56.040 not your basic shit. Like take out the trash, work out shit. Like no, these are critical 1.00
00:25:02.320 moving forward tasks. And I can, I'm not going to explain it because it would be a three hour
00:25:07.900 discussion. It's why I recorded on episode 16. So go listen to episode 16, fucking do that method
00:25:14.220 for the next 1000 days, come back and tell me what you did. And I guarantee you, you're going 0.99
00:25:19.300 to be a completely different human completely. Yeah. So yeah. That's awesome. Uh, well we
00:25:28.040 got, we, uh, we got, we got caramel sauce. All right. Yeah. Well, caramel. Which one is
00:25:32.840 it? Yeah. What's the difference? Both. Uh, if you're black, is that what it is? It's 1.00
00:25:39.820 vernacular. I mean, I don't know. If it's caramel, it's like caramel caramel. Yeah. What do you call
00:25:47.540 it? I don't know. Caramel. It sounds better. Caramel. It does. It's caramel, bro. Well,
00:25:53.620 you're Bosnian, so. And you're black. Astute observations happening here in the Relay 1.00
00:26:01.060 studio. It's really up, baby. Hey, it's really up. All right, Andy. So you're, you're, you're,
00:26:07.700 you're, you're a very successful business owner, right? What would, what would be the absolute
00:26:14.340 worst buy one, get one free sale of all time? If you can think of it, what would be the worst
00:26:19.460 fucking one you can ever think of? Or maybe you've heard before. What's the worst buy one, 0.99
00:26:23.240 get one. First of all, sales are fucking stupid anyway. Okay. And I'll tell you why, because 1.00
00:26:28.840 sales devalue your product in the customer's eyes and all these stupid fucking entrepreneurs 1.00
00:26:34.460 run sales every fucking month and they train their customers to see their fucking product 1.00
00:26:39.020 for what the value isn't. And then they can't understand why nobody buys their product at full 1.00
00:26:44.800 price. So the stupidest buy one, get one free is on consumable items. Okay. I see people do this a 1.00
00:26:51.680 lot. Let's say you have a can of fucking beans and you are going to do buy one, get one free on a can 0.99
00:26:58.020 of beans. Um, why that's stupid as a business owner. Can you tell me why it's stupid? 1.00
00:27:07.180 No, I mean, I don't know. Okay. Well, if I give out a consumable item today, 0.99
00:27:11.640 the cost, it doesn't matter what it costs. Okay. Yeah. Let's say I give you a consumable item.
00:27:18.260 Okay. And then I give you one for free. What does that do to the timeframe of when I'm going to see you
00:27:24.260 again? Oh, probably about two, two months. That means I'm giving away my next month's fucking
00:27:33.760 consumable business based upon a sale to try to fill dollars on the cashflow line now. Okay. Like 0.97
00:27:41.060 I know that's a hard concept for business owners to understand, but you want as much contact with 0.95
00:27:46.740 your customers as fucking possible, not less. Right. And then another thing you do when you do 0.93
00:27:52.340 buy one, get one freeze, you cut your margin literally in half. All right. So now you get
00:27:57.060 this big inflow of positive cashflow and you think you're rich, except the bills don't change. 0.99
00:28:02.460 So now you've got to go pay the bills with half the fucking margin. See, but people don't think 0.97
00:28:07.280 about it like that because they're worried about Friday night. They're not worried about six months
00:28:10.360 from now. So, you know, you shouldn't, you, you, the sale concept is a dying concept. If you want,
00:28:20.560 if you want brand equity in your brand, if you want people to think and appreciate the quality
00:28:26.260 of your brand. Like if you go to fucking Rolls Royce, they're doing buy one, get one free. 0.97
00:28:30.660 If you go to fucking Apple, they doing fucking sales? No. Okay. Right. Like what do you think 1.00
00:28:36.220 of Apple computers? No, I'm saying, what do you think of the quality?
00:28:40.360 Would you think that if they were buying one, get one free? Probably not. No. So you would
00:28:45.480 actually feel twice as bad about paying. If you did buy one, get one free and you knew
00:28:49.460 that people were getting them for a thousand bucks and you got to pay 2000, you'd be actually
00:28:53.260 pissed off about that. So actually what it does is it takes your customers who are extremely
00:28:57.920 fucking positive about your brand and what's it do? There you go. So, but you know, don't 0.92
00:29:03.440 listen to me. I don't fucking know anything. Right. That's real, man. Well guys, if you build 0.99
00:29:10.200 your brand around sales, you will lose a hundred percent. And eventually you'll find yourself
00:29:15.920 in a position where you can't generate cashflow because no one appreciates the quality of your
00:29:20.500 product anymore. And they always want it at that price. And when you don't give it to
00:29:24.240 them at that price where you're not making any margin because you wanted to do that sale
00:29:27.380 that one time and get that cashflow up. And then you got addicted to that cashflow boost.
00:29:31.600 What'll happen is you'll find your place eventually to where you can't pay your bills and you can't 0.97
00:29:36.700 do anything to fucking stimulate it. So it's, it's greed that creates it because what happens
00:29:41.640 is the first time you do a buy one, get one free, you fucking create massive amounts of 0.59
00:29:46.040 dollars and people are like, Oh yeah. And then these greedy business owners try to figure 0.92
00:29:49.600 it. They're like, Oh fuck. Well dude, I just went out and I got myself a new Ferrari with 1.00
00:29:53.040 that. Right. See what I'm saying? Like, it's just greed, bro.
00:29:58.640 Is it ever appropriate to do a sale or a buy one?
00:30:00.800 Yeah, sure. It could be appropriate. Like for certain things, like, like this is consumable items.
00:30:05.340 I'm talking about. Okay. The devaluation of your brand is 100% consistent, whether the product is
00:30:11.900 consumable or not consumable. If you're constantly running sales, then people will see you as a
00:30:17.300 discount brand. That's what they'll see you as. And you'll never be able to revive that image.
00:30:23.040 I was talking about what's the dumbest buy one, get one free. Well, the dumbest buy one, 1.00
00:30:26.940 get one free is on consumables, whether it be fucking alcohol or fucking anything. 1.00
00:30:32.760 You just shouldn't do it. Stupid. Cause it pushes your customer out for twice as long. 1.00
00:30:37.960 What do you think about, uh, some brands, for example, like Lays, they do buy three,
00:30:44.460 get one free. I think fucking people are fat as fuck. And I think they probably go home and consume 1.00
00:30:51.900 three times as much. If I'm being completely fucking honest. From a business point of view, 0.97
00:30:57.620 don't you think that's a good move because that leads to more sales and people consume more
00:31:03.060 from just from a business perspective?
00:31:05.460 Well, that's, that's a totally different. I think that's, to me, I see that as a completely
00:31:10.760 different play. Um, yeah, it might be a good business move for dollars, but what are they
00:31:17.000 doing to people? And not only that, bro, there's all kinds of super addictive legal chemicals inside
00:31:22.800 of those kinds of foods that they actually use to make people addicted to the fucking foods. 0.96
00:31:27.620 So, you know, there needs to be some regulation on, on some of that sort of thing. Um, in my opinion, 0.99
00:31:34.640 but yeah, I mean, I guess in that scenario, it might, they might make more money, but, um,
00:31:42.360 I don't think it's ethical. And I think if you went and looked at the amount of Lays potato chips
00:31:48.120 that are consumed today versus were consumed five or six years ago or 20 years ago, it's probably less.
00:31:54.400 Yeah. So, and why is it less? Because they are, people are catching on to the fucking game of,
00:32:00.980 of, of needing to be healthy and which companies are contributing to them being unhealthy and how 0.98
00:32:06.000 unethical are they being at contributing to them being unhealthy? How many of these companies put
00:32:10.780 actual addictive fucking chemicals in their food and they're allowed to, to keep you fucking eating 1.00
00:32:17.540 it and to keep you buying it, bro. It is all of them. And it's fucking it's bullshit. 1.00
00:32:23.620 You know, they don't, they don't let you do that in the supplement industry. You can't put 1.00
00:32:27.040 addictive chemicals in your fucking supplements, bro. They'll shut you down for, they'll do what 1.00
00:32:31.020 they did to the baby food company. They'll shut you the fuck down, bro. But these food companies 1.00
00:32:35.340 can do whatever the fuck they want. Cause they make all the money. So, you know, but, but to your 0.98
00:32:39.940 point, Syed, uh, yeah, short term, I bet that is a good strategy, but you have to ask yourself,
00:32:45.140 why did they have to get themselves to that point? I bet they had to get themselves to that point
00:32:49.720 because people were consuming less and less and less and less. You see what I'm saying?
00:32:53.980 Because they were creating things that were not good for people. So, you know, I think the natural
00:33:00.060 order of, of there's a natural order in business, just like there's a natural order in, in everything.
00:33:05.920 And if you do the right thing and you stand, you like, dude, I think when you do the right thing,
00:33:14.160 I think that's what it comes down to. I think people, people will, people will forgive you when
00:33:18.200 you make mistakes. If you're consistently trying to be better and to do the right thing. And it's
00:33:24.000 very clear that not only are some of these big companies not doing the right thing, they're not
00:33:29.140 trying to get better. They're actually trying to force more on you. Yes. And like, bro, people are
00:33:35.600 waking up to that, that, that ethical problem. And I would say that the reason they have to do buy
00:33:40.360 three, get one free is probably because of that. A hundred percent. I think so. I mean, I don't have
00:33:46.900 the data in front of me. If I had their fucking data in front of me, I could tell you exactly what's 0.96
00:33:50.020 going on, but I don't, I'm making assumptions based off maybes, but you know, maybe, maybe for 0.93
00:33:56.640 them, it is a great idea. Maybe that's how it works. But I think as even, even if that is true,
00:34:01.940 let's just say that is how it works. And I'm wrong in this, in that scenario, which I don't
00:34:06.080 think I am, but let's just say I was, I promise you that society is catching onto that and it will
00:34:11.600 become a bigger problem for them. So if it hasn't happened yet, it will happen.
00:34:18.120 That's a good question. Guys, Andy. Yeah. Guys, Andy, that is four. So go pay the fee if you want.
00:34:23.740 Oh, look at that. I was wondering what he was thinking about over there. I saw some smoke
00:34:32.080 come out of here. Shit. All right, guys, that's the show. If it taught you something, 1.00
00:34:37.960 if it gave you something, if it, if it helped you think about some things, which I think that
00:34:41.560 was a pretty solid show. I'd appreciate it. If you shared it, you know, we have a fee on this
00:34:45.720 show and the fee is $0. The fee is the fee is $0. The fee is, Hey man, if it helped you tell a
00:34:53.420 friend. Okay. We don't run ads on the show. I don't feel half the show with fucking ads.
00:34:57.660 I finance the show myself. I'm trying to help you guys get better so that we can fix what the 0.97
