00:16:46.280 started public speaking, what were some things you did to be at your best when you stepped
00:16:51.020 on stage? Any tips or tricks of the trade? Um, yeah, dude, you know, look, it's a skill.
00:16:59.480 Okay. Um, when I took public speaking in college, I got a D all right. And the reason I got a D
00:17:08.240 was because I said curse words in my fucking speech. Um, I went off script. I wasn't polished.

00:18:50.460 actually built anything. I see a lot of people out there trying to become speakers or become
00:18:54.920 podcasters or become like known for like talking when they haven't really fucking built anything.
00:19:01.140 Right. What are you talking about? And you, what you have to understand, like you may have some good
00:19:04.860 things to offer, but when people look at you, they're going to say, well, what have you done?
00:19:10.740 And that's for all of you. And no matter who you are, um, I was talking to a young guy who,

00:19:23.940 of the Arte events and he's like, Hey dude, what can I do to, to get better? And I'm like, bro,
00:19:28.800 build shit, build shit. You're fucking 26 years old, build shit, go build shit for the next 10
00:19:36.000 fucking years. Then talk about it. Right. Okay. And that's, that's the thing. Like I, before I ever
00:19:42.620 spoke before I ever was asked to speak, I was like almost 14 years into business. I had built
00:19:48.980 something. I had a, I had a hundred million dollar business almost when I started fucking
00:19:53.840 speaking and you know, my track record speaks for itself. So like when people say, well,
00:19:59.820 what's that guy done? Well, there's a long motherfucking list of shit I've done. So there's,
00:20:04.020 that gives people a reason to listen to what I say. When you actually don't have that true track
00:20:10.180 record of winning, what you say sounds like parroting other people who have done it.
00:20:15.480 Yeah. And that's not the goal. You know, the goal isn't to be a speaker. The goal is to be someone
00:20:20.960 who's built shit and then show people how you built it. And whenever you built shit, your ability to

00:20:45.800 speakers and really haven't built anything. And even though, even the ones who are the absolute
00:20:51.320 fucking best of those guys are still not even close to the top level of speakers because they don't
00:20:57.420 have the same credibility as the guys at the top. Right. So the guys at the top have amazing speaking
00:21:02.080 ability and they have fucking real life success to back it up on a massive scale. And then there's
00:21:08.380 this another level below that. And I'm talking about being the best in the world. Like, dude,
00:21:12.280 that's what I talk about here. Right. Like I'm not, I listen, one thing you're gonna learn about me
00:21:16.480 is everything I say, every piece of advice I get, it comes from a perspective of wanting to be the
