00:00:00.000 What is up guys, it's Andy Priscilla and this is the show for the realist's sake, goodbye 0.99
00:00:20.500 to the lies, the fakeness and delusions of modern society and welcome to motherfucking 0.98
00:00:25.540 reality guys. 0.94
00:00:26.220 Today we have Q and AF, that's where you submit the Qs and we give you the AFs.
00:00:31.580 Now you can submit your questions one of a few different ways.
00:00:34.620 The first way is, guys email those questions in to askandy at andyfriscilla.com or if you
00:00:40.300 go on YouTube and you click subscribe and you drop a comment in there on our Q and AF
00:00:44.640 episodes which drop on Mondays, you can ask your question in the comments and we'll pick
00:00:48.720 some from there as well.
00:00:50.040 Other times we have CTI, that comes out on Tuesdays and Fridays.
00:00:54.000 That stands for Cruise the Internet.
00:00:56.620 That's where we put topics up on the screen, we speculate on what's true and what's not
00:01:00.060 true and we talk about how we the people need to be the solution to these problems going
00:01:03.940 on in the world.
00:01:04.540 Other times we have Real Talk, Real Talk is just 5 to 20 minutes of me giving you some
00:01:08.080 real talk.
00:01:08.980 Other times, Full Length.
00:01:10.440 Full Length is what you see when you watch most other podcasts.
00:01:13.400 We bring in a guest, we have a conversation.
00:01:15.200 And then we have 75 Hard Verses.
00:01:17.760 75 Hard Verses is when we bring someone in who has completed the 75 Hard Program.
00:01:22.940 We talk about how they were before, how they are now and how you can use the 75 Hard Program
00:01:27.960 which is the initial phase of the Live Hard Program to recalibrate your entire life.
00:01:32.760 So you can get that program for free as well as the Live Hard Program for free in episode
00:01:37.580 208 of the audio feed.
00:01:40.100 It's not on YouTube because we just started YouTube this year consistently and maybe we'll
00:01:46.800 drop that episode proactively eventually but I'm not sure.
00:01:50.320 Anyway, it's for free right now on episode 208 and if you want to buy the book, the book
00:01:54.600 is at andyfursella.com.
00:01:56.620 It's unnecessary.
00:01:57.900 All the info is in the podcast for free but if you're somebody that wants to know in-depth
00:02:02.560 information like I am, the book is very useful so you can check that out as well.
00:02:07.260 Now we do have this thing on the show called The Fee.
00:02:10.920 The Fee means in exchange for me giving you valuable information about how to become successful,
00:02:18.280 better based on my 24 years, actually 25 years here in January of business experience that
00:02:26.560 I give to you for free.
00:02:27.360 I ask very simply that you share the show.
00:02:29.720 All right?
00:02:30.040 We're constantly being shadow banned. 0.81
00:02:31.700 We're constantly being fucked with and if you don't share the show, the information doesn't 0.82
00:02:36.000 get out. 0.98
00:02:36.320 So I make a deal with you.
00:02:38.200 I don't take ads for the show and I ask you to share the show.
00:02:42.500 I think that's pretty fair.
00:02:43.540 You guys go listen to everybody else's show. 0.99
00:02:45.100 You got 50 fucking minutes of ads. 1.00
00:02:46.760 It's a bunch of bullshit and then the reason those people can't speak out is because they 1.00
00:02:51.160 have to bow down to the people paying them. 1.00
00:02:53.820 Well, guess what?
00:02:54.600 I don't have to bow down to anybody. 0.99
00:02:56.360 So I say whatever the fuck I want in exchange for that. 0.95
00:02:58.480 I ask you to share the show. 0.99
00:02:59.740 So we have this little saying.
00:03:00.920 It goes like this.
00:03:02.340 Don't be a hoe. 1.00
00:03:03.460 Share the show.
00:03:04.280 All right.
00:03:04.620 So what's up, man?
00:03:06.140 Hey, what's going on, man?
00:03:06.980 Oh, not much.
00:03:07.800 Yeah.
00:03:08.620 We're talking about movies before we got going here.
00:03:10.620 Yeah. 1.00
00:03:11.400 We're talking about how fucking stupid some of the new movies are. 1.00
00:03:13.840 Yeah. 1.00
00:03:14.280 Like the new Ghostbusters.
00:03:16.020 Just comparing it to like, you know, 10, 15 years ago.
00:03:18.500 What was that movie you were just showing there?
00:03:20.020 That was Scream. 1.00
00:03:21.100 No, that wasn't Scream. 0.79
00:03:22.100 That was Scream is the real movie. 0.99
00:03:24.660 That was the scary movie.
00:03:26.720 Yeah.
00:03:26.880 Scary movie.
00:03:27.620 Both, honestly.
00:03:28.220 Yeah.
00:03:28.500 We were laughing our ass off at Doofy. 1.00
00:03:30.160 Yeah.
00:03:30.380 Doofy.
00:03:30.840 Smell my fingers.
00:03:32.080 What is that? 1.00
00:03:33.080 My ass. 1.00
00:03:36.060 All right. 1.00
00:03:36.680 Guys, Andy, question number one.
00:03:38.140 Andy, your message of personal excellence being the ultimate rebellion has become a new
00:03:43.720 mission for me in my life.
00:03:44.680 But I need some some direction as all of those areas you talk about in my life need improvement.
00:03:52.340 So do you have recommendations on which to tackle first?
00:03:55.880 Right.
00:03:56.100 Like, what's the priority?
00:03:57.320 Physical fitness first, then financial independence, then overall mindset. 0.99
00:04:00.940 I notice my life looks like shit. 0.99
00:04:02.680 I just don't know where to start. 0.97
00:04:04.060 OK, well, first of all, we have to recognize that being personally excellent by no means means
00:04:11.000 that you have to be like this perfect human being.
00:04:13.600 All right.
00:04:13.800 There's this like I was reading the comments of the of the day in the life show and like
00:04:18.220 they were very favorable.
00:04:19.080 Right.
00:04:19.580 Yeah. 1.00
00:04:19.800 But I almost started to get the feeling like you all think I'm some kind of perfect motherfucker. 0.99
00:04:23.400 Like, let me tell you something, bro. 1.00
00:04:24.660 I struggle every fucking day. 1.00
00:04:26.120 This shit is hard as fuck. 1.00
00:04:27.420 OK. 1.00
00:04:27.800 In different areas.
00:04:28.740 In different areas.
00:04:29.560 Yeah.
00:04:29.740 And over the course of my life, in every area of my life, I've made mistakes.
00:04:35.340 OK. 0.97
00:04:35.640 And I fucked up my life over and over and over again. 1.00
00:04:38.760 All right. 0.98
00:04:39.080 And this is called living a life because there's really only two ways you can learn over the
00:04:45.540 course of your life.
00:04:46.200 And one is by learning from other people's mistakes.
00:04:48.040 And the other is making your own mistakes and learning from them.
00:04:51.040 And so if you're making mistakes in your life and you find yourself in a place where,
00:04:54.540 you know, you're not happy with who you are and what you've been doing, you have to realize
00:04:58.580 that that's normal and that's OK. 1.00
00:05:00.720 That doesn't mean you're a piece of shit. 1.00
00:05:02.160 But if you do nothing about it and you become aware of it and then you choose to do nothing 1.00
00:05:06.660 moving forward, that makes you a piece of shit. 1.00
00:05:09.660 All right. 1.00
00:05:09.920 So like if this guy here, like if you look around at your life and you're like, fuck, 0.99
00:05:13.800 he's right. 0.97
00:05:14.480 I do need to fix my stuff.
00:05:15.880 And then you choose to continue to go now. 1.00
00:05:17.500 Then you start to become a piece of shit. 1.00
00:05:19.520 And what you'll notice is, is that you never really feel bad about how you're living your 1.00
00:05:24.160 life until you become aware that you're not living up to your own true potential and you're
00:05:28.040 not actually trying to achieve it.
00:05:29.900 And then you become aware, right?
00:05:31.380 You accept that.
00:05:32.080 Yeah.
00:05:32.260 And then when you keep doing the old habits, then your self-esteem and your confidence
00:05:36.200 and everything is driven into the dirt because you're aware that you're doing the things
00:05:40.260 that are wrong.
00:05:41.120 So understand that this is not about perfection.
00:05:44.180 This is about learning and moving forward and continuously becoming more and more and
00:05:49.300 more aware so that we can continue to evolve.
00:05:51.380 So don't beat yourself up, but just understand like it's time to do something about it.
00:05:55.760 All right.
00:05:57.120 Secondly, where do we start?
00:05:58.500 Well, listen, everything that we have in our life starts from our mind.
00:06:02.720 It starts from where we are with our mind and then goes into our physical and then our
00:06:07.380 mind and our physical lead to creating reality outside of that. 0.99
00:06:10.840 So when you say, okay, my whole life is in disarray, my mental game is messed up, my physical is shit, my finances are poor, blah, blah, blah. 0.97
00:06:19.840 We have to arrange those into a hierarchy of things to address, right? 0.85
00:06:24.140 So when things flow from our brain to our body to the world, where would you say that we start?
00:06:29.660 Start with your brain.
00:06:30.420 Right.
00:06:30.700 We start with our brain.
00:06:31.700 Okay.
00:06:31.980 And this is the purpose of the Live Hard and 75 Hard program.
00:06:36.360 All right.
00:06:37.300 A lot of people call it a challenge.
00:06:39.340 A lot of people think it's fitness.
00:06:40.480 It is not that.
00:06:41.680 It is an actual program that is designed for you.
00:06:44.680 It's a tool for you to use to recalibrate your brain, to create awareness around the conversations
00:06:50.540 that you have inside of your brain that either tell you to actually follow through with things
00:06:55.200 or to pass on things that you know that you should follow through. 0.98
00:06:58.760 And we call those things the bitch voice and the boss voice. 1.00
00:07:02.240 All right. 1.00
00:07:02.640 And the bitch voice is the voice that you hear when you get home from work and you know you're 1.00
00:07:06.620 supposed to train because you told yourself you were going to work out and you're like, 1.00
00:07:10.220 fuck, I'm tired. 0.99
00:07:11.140 And then it starts in with this. 1.00
00:07:13.380 Well, hey, look, you had a hard day.
00:07:15.740 You worked really hard.
00:07:17.140 You did all these things.
00:07:18.800 You know, let's take it easy tonight.
00:07:20.540 Let's order a pizza and for sure we'll start back tomorrow.
00:07:24.460 And the reason that this voice is so bad and so damaging to us is because it happens again
00:07:31.620 the next day and then it happens again the next day and then it happens again the next
00:07:35.280 day and sooner or later when we're telling ourselves we're going to address all these
00:07:39.380 things, the natural response as a human being is to kind of go hog wild when they don't hit
00:07:45.500 the first day, right?
00:07:46.360 So like, let's say you promised yourself, let's, today is a Monday and let's just say
00:07:50.420 you promised yourself today.
00:07:52.100 Today was going to be the day that you started and you're listening to this at eight o'clock 0.98
00:07:56.120 at night and you're sitting there and you're like, fuck, I'm, I really want a pizza, right? 0.87
00:08:01.420 And so instead of like just ordering the pizza, right? 0.99
00:08:05.280 What ends up happening is you're like, well, fuck, I'm starting again tomorrow. 0.96
00:08:07.880 So I'm going to order the pizza and the fries and the wings and the ice cream and I'm going 0.99
00:08:12.100 to get it all in and then tomorrow I'm going to start.
00:08:15.580 But what happens is you don't end up starting tomorrow and tomorrow you tell yourself the
00:08:19.600 same story.
00:08:20.200 And so then this process repeats and this is how you end up at 300, 400, 500 pounds with
00:08:27.080 a total dissatisfied life, right?
00:08:29.760 So becoming aware of the voice that tells us what to do in our brain is super important.
00:08:38.180 And then we follow that by developing the skillset we need to listen to the voice in our actions
00:08:44.820 in reality.
00:08:45.920 And that's discipline, grit, fortitude, the ability to endure, the ability to persevere,
00:08:52.320 all of these things that we call and encompass what's called mental toughness, right?
00:08:56.980 And then when we start to develop mental toughness, because we're able to follow through on the
00:09:01.780 actions that our boss voice is telling us, Hey, no, bro, you told yourself today you were 1.00
00:09:06.700 going to get after it, get your fat ass off the couch and get on the fucking road and go 1.00
00:09:10.060 do your work. 1.00
00:09:10.620 Okay.
00:09:11.020 That's your boss voice.
00:09:12.320 Oh, that's an abusive voice. 1.00
00:09:14.000 No, the abusive voice is the voice that tells you to keep eating like shit and to take 1.00
00:09:18.340 it easy and to take, you know, give yourself a break. 1.00
00:09:21.120 Motherfucker, you've been on a break for 10 fucking years. 1.00
00:09:23.300 That's why your life looks like shit. 1.00
00:09:24.920 Okay. 1.00
00:09:25.480 So that's abuse.
00:09:27.180 All right.
00:09:27.960 So when we talk about, when we talk about the real voice that you should be listening
00:09:32.600 to, it's the voice that tells you to do the things that you know you're supposed to do.
00:09:36.460 And that's the voice that we have to become aware and tuned into.
00:09:39.500 And then we have to follow that up with the skill development.
00:09:41.920 All right.
00:09:42.600 So most people's problem is not, I don't know what to do.
00:09:47.120 Most people know what to do.
00:09:48.520 They just can't do it.
00:09:49.740 Okay.
00:09:50.160 So that's what that program is designed to do.
00:09:52.620 That's why for 75 days, there is zero compromise.
00:09:55.560 There is zero substitution.
00:09:57.260 This is, you know, you are in or you are out.
00:09:59.720 And a lot of people don't get it because they've turned it into their mind as some sort of fitness
00:10:03.420 challenge or some sort of tick tock challenge.
00:10:05.920 No, this is a mental recalibration program. 1.00
00:10:09.280 And this is why when you go fuck with it and you're not qualified to fuck with it, oh, I'm 1.00
00:10:14.180 going to make it a little easier. 0.99
00:10:15.380 I'm going to make it more sustainable.
00:10:16.840 You don't even understand the program.
00:10:18.640 You don't even understand the point of it.
00:10:19.840 And nor are you qualified to make those adjustments because the reason that your life, the whole
00:10:24.700 reason you want to do this program is because you're dissatisfied with your life and your 0.97
00:10:28.860 bitch voice is so strong that it's telling you to compromise the very thing that is going 1.00
00:10:33.080 to fix this problem. 1.00
00:10:34.060 All right.
00:10:35.020 So when we think about like how to view this program, you should be viewing it as a tool
00:10:40.060 that we use to recalibrate on an as needed basis.
00:10:45.160 Okay.
00:10:45.700 And the Live Hard program is designed for you to go for 365 days and spend less than 50%
00:10:53.540 of that time working on your sharpness.
00:10:55.920 And if you spent less than half the year working on your sharpness every single year and you
00:11:00.540 were able to adhere to the plans that you lay out in front of you without compromise,
00:11:04.620 what would your life look like?
00:11:06.860 Okay.
00:11:07.680 Let's, let's have an honest question here.
00:11:09.780 If you went back for the last five years of your life and every single time you told
00:11:14.240 yourself you were going to do something, I'm going to go on a diet, I'm going to get in
00:11:17.460 shape, I'm going to build a business, I'm going to increase my income, I'm going to
00:11:20.660 get more serious at my career, I'm going to be a better, uh, better partner in a relationship.
00:11:25.360 And you had done all those things.
00:11:27.600 Where would your life be?
00:11:29.380 It would be completely different than where you're at now.
00:11:31.920 All right.
00:11:32.480 So it's not that we don't know what to do or that we can't see the path.
00:11:35.680 It's that we can't follow the path.
00:11:37.560 And so what should you do first?
00:11:40.500 I would take care of your mental first and then allow your physical to manifest along
00:11:44.900 with it, which is what the program's all about.
00:11:46.860 And then after that, and as you're doing that, you're going to notice all these other habits
00:11:51.280 start to materialize and rise to the surface.
00:11:53.340 Things like your ability to execute on your game plan for your career, your ability to
00:11:58.720 execute on your game plan for your relationships, your ability to execute on your game plan for
00:12:04.300 anything that you think needs to be improved is going to rise.
00:12:08.600 And when you can execute on the plans and all these different areas, what do you think that
00:12:11.800 does the quality of your life?
00:12:13.340 It makes it better.
00:12:14.700 Okay. 0.99
00:12:15.300 So a lot of you guys don't know what the fuck you're talking about when you talk about 75 0.97
00:12:19.180 hard, to be completely honest, because you saw some TikTok talk about it and like 0.96
00:12:23.100 tell you it's this or it's that, or some trainer that's threatened by it. 0.99
00:12:27.320 Like I get this shit a lot too. 0.99
00:12:28.760 A lot of personal trainers are threatened to buy it because it's free. 1.00
00:12:32.760 Okay. 0.99
00:12:33.060 So they go out and they trash it and they talk shit, not understanding that if I purposely 0.98
00:12:38.860 designed the program so that you could plug in your programming, your meal plans and the 0.98
00:12:43.160 training into the program, into the framework, and you will actually not just produce better
00:12:47.580 results for your clients, but you will fix them permanently.
00:12:50.200 And if you fix them permanently and get that by way, when I say fix them permanently, that
00:12:54.500 doesn't mean you never do the program again.
00:12:56.420 Fixing them permanently means becoming aware that they need to constantly sharpen their spear
00:13:00.620 when it gets dull over the course of time.
00:13:02.900 That's the only permanent fix it comes to when we talk about discipline, mindset, mental toughness,
00:13:07.920 all these things are skills.
00:13:09.280 These are perishable skills, just like swing a golf club, just like shooting a pistol.
00:13:13.880 If you do not practice every day, your, your skillset is going to diminish.
00:13:17.240 This is the same with discipline.
00:13:18.880 It's the same with grit.
00:13:19.820 It's the same with fortitude.
00:13:21.000 It's the same with your confidence.
00:13:22.500 It's the same with self-esteem.
00:13:23.740 If you do not make investments into them, they get weaker.
00:13:26.580 And when you become aware of the weakness happening and you were able to adjust, track and fix
00:13:31.700 it, how much more powerful do you become?
00:13:33.600 That's actually the permanent solution of the program.
00:13:36.080 It's not that you do it once and you're fixed.
00:13:38.060 It's an awareness and an understanding that for us to have these skill sets, we have to
00:13:44.580 build the skill sets.
00:13:45.860 They are not traits.
00:13:46.920 They are skills.
00:13:48.200 All right?
00:13:48.660 So-
00:13:49.220 Yeah, I think one of the implications that people kind of miss over is like, you know,
00:13:53.460 when you talk about-
00:13:53.940 Well, hold on, bro.
00:13:54.560 Think about this. 1.00
00:13:55.560 With these trainers, I want to get back to this shit. 1.00
00:13:57.400 Yeah. 1.00
00:13:57.680 The trainers who talk this shit, right? 1.00
00:13:59.900 Why are they talking this shit? 1.00
00:14:01.560 Because they want to sell you some shit and they can't sell you some shit if you've got 1.00
00:14:05.660 some other shit for free, okay? 1.00
00:14:07.860 So let's be real. 0.99
00:14:09.300 What is their actual objective for you?
00:14:11.640 Is the actual objective for you to fix you so that you could actually get better results?
00:14:16.380 And by the way, it would be better for their business if they did that.
00:14:19.780 If they actually fixed someone to where they created the awareness and the person could self-regulate
00:14:24.540 their own discipline, that person would associate that success to those trainers and then be your
00:14:29.840 biggest advocates. 1.00
00:14:31.020 So it's a bunch of short-sighted shit that these people do when they talk shit like that. 1.00
00:14:34.680 And then they get blasted by the millions of people that have actually had success with 1.00
00:14:39.360 the program.
00:14:40.160 So the point is, and a long answer, the short answer to the long answer is start with your 0.98
00:14:46.200 mind, do the program, do it fucking without compromise, don't make up your own rules. 0.98
00:14:51.220 You're not qualified to make up your own rules. 0.99
00:14:52.940 If you were qualified to make up your own rules, your life would look like mine, not
00:14:55.540 like yours, okay? 0.97
00:14:57.180 So do the program exactly as it's fucking prescribed and in 75 days, you will understand what I'm 0.98
00:15:03.440 talking about now and you will be a different human being. 0.97
00:15:05.820 And every plan that you lay out in front of you from here on out will be a plan that you
00:15:09.800 could stick to.
00:15:10.580 And if you could stick to any plan that you decide to stick to, where are the limits in
00:15:14.240 your power?
00:15:15.620 There are none.
00:15:17.140 Okay?
00:15:17.580 So that's the thing.
00:15:19.320 So what were you going to say?
00:15:20.520 Well, I mean, one connection I want to make for people out there listening to that, right?
00:15:24.940 Well, Andy, okay, I get my mind together.
00:15:26.920 How's it going to make me more money?
00:15:28.540 You know, let's say you're an entrepreneur, you work for somebody, true or false, when
00:15:33.020 you see a person that works for you and you can just look at them and they take care of
00:15:37.060 themselves, right?
00:15:38.620 You could tell that they respect themselves.
00:15:41.080 Doesn't that translate to, okay, well, that person is probably going to do a pretty good
00:15:44.200 job committing to whatever I have to them.
00:15:46.460 That's every, listen, bro, every human being understands what you're describing.
00:15:52.520 Yeah.
00:15:52.660 When you are, it doesn't matter if you understand this or you don't understand this.
00:15:56.920 There is something mystical about walking into a room and being in better shape than
00:16:02.100 everybody else. 0.99
00:16:03.040 People look at it and they say, holy shit, that person's got it together. 0.97
00:16:07.420 That automatically raises your score in terms of your personal brand equity and what they 1.00
00:16:13.540 think of you anywhere you go without saying a fucking word. 0.99
00:16:16.340 Yeah. 1.00
00:16:16.520 You might not be able to do shit else. 0.97
00:16:17.800 Now listen, I know your mom tells you you're perfect and I know your wife tells you you're 0.99
00:16:22.560 fucking great with your dad, Bob, and I know this and that and this. 1.00
00:16:25.760 I know all this shit, okay? 1.00
00:16:26.900 But here's the reality. 0.99
00:16:28.520 The truth is, is the better condition you are, the more respect you have without saying 0.99
00:16:32.160 shit. 0.97
00:16:32.960 And when that comes into who I want to do business with or who I want working for me 1.00
00:16:37.120 or who I think, dude, that's a huge, it's a huge deal.
00:16:40.980 Our best performers in this building, you can look at them and tell who our best performers
00:16:46.160 are. 1.00
00:16:46.420 Real shit. 1.00
00:16:48.660 Yeah. 1.00
00:16:48.920 And that equates- 0.99
00:16:50.100 It makes perfect sense, man, because okay, if you're doing hard shit in the fucking gym, 0.99
00:16:54.440 you know what hard work takes. 0.99
00:16:55.960 You know what input, output.
00:16:57.720 You understand that process.
00:16:59.480 So it automatically translates into any facet of your life.
00:17:02.660 I don't know one true high achiever that doesn't understand what I just said.
00:17:07.680 Yeah.
00:17:08.440 I don't know one.
00:17:09.820 Think of one high achiever.
00:17:11.060 Think of one high achiever.
00:17:12.640 I'm not talking about somebody who was born into it.
00:17:14.840 I'm not talking about someone who inherited a family business.
00:17:17.580 I'm not talking about someone who's won a lottery. 0.98
00:17:19.780 I'm talking about someone who built something from fucking scratch. 0.99
00:17:24.000 Built something from fucking scratch. 0.99
00:17:26.400 And they've been doing it for a considerable amount of time. 0.98
00:17:28.900 And it's come into something that is universally respected as successful.
00:17:33.860 I'm not talking about a small business that's kind of on its way.
00:17:36.380 I'm talking about something that is undeniably a win.
00:17:40.760 Who can you look at that doesn't follow what I just said?
00:17:44.560 It's a requirement.
00:17:46.100 It's a requirement.
00:17:47.480 And that's the way it is.
00:17:49.600 I didn't make the rules.
00:17:50.660 But to answer this man's question, brain, body, reality.
00:17:55.340 That's the flow.
00:17:56.620 Okay? 1.00
00:17:56.920 So fix the way you think, which will also fix your body, which will fix a whole lot of shit 0.98
00:18:01.320 in the real world and give you the skills to adhere to any plan that you decide that you lay out for your path. 0.98
00:18:07.720 I love that, man.
00:18:08.780 I love that.
00:18:09.320 Guys, Andy, question number two.
00:18:11.040 Andy, I am currently facing multiple decisions in my personal and professional life.
00:18:16.180 Is there a way to differentiate between opportunities that require additional time and effort versus
00:18:23.420 distractions that present themselves as opportunities?
00:18:27.720 Have you found a sure method to help you notice the difference between those two?
00:18:32.960 Things that are just completely wasting your time that look good versus things that actually
00:18:36.680 are going to require time that can work out?
00:18:39.660 I actually think this correlates to the last question I asked pretty well because I think
00:18:45.240 this is an awareness problem.
00:18:47.640 All right?
00:18:48.660 You don't want to be, you know, the squirrel that is always chasing the next new nut, right?
00:18:55.620 Like that's what people do.
00:18:58.120 And it's not because they have trouble recognizing opportunities from distractions, so to speak,
00:19:03.700 but it's more so they don't have the awareness to understand that their energy is a limited resource.
00:19:09.940 Okay?
00:19:10.300 So what I mean by that is this.
00:19:11.800 You're working on the thing, right?
00:19:13.700 Whatever the thing is that you're working on, you have to understand that unless you are
00:19:19.140 at the peak level of that game and you have developed the infrastructure and the people
00:19:23.720 and the systems and you are undeniably winning, you cannot afford to take energy off of that
00:19:29.640 thing to do other things.
00:19:31.800 It's just not reality.
00:19:33.260 You are not that good.
00:19:34.300 You are not that skilled.
00:19:35.280 You are not that talented.
00:19:36.480 And neither am I.
00:19:37.380 And that's why it's important for you to understand that we only have so much energy to put into
00:19:43.740 something.
00:19:44.820 And let's just say we're working on a project, right?
00:19:47.240 And this particular project we're working on is a project that a hundred other companies
00:19:52.360 are also working on.
00:19:53.860 All right?
00:19:54.240 But we're putting all of our energy into this project.
00:19:59.600 And these other companies, they're doing five other things or six other things or 20 other
00:20:04.540 things, right?
00:20:05.080 And they don't have what I said, the foundation set up to do so.
00:20:08.200 So you're talking about a dedicated 100% energy resource versus the splintering of energy resources
00:20:16.980 that you're competing against.
00:20:18.500 And when you are you, which none of you that are listening here are at the peak of your
00:20:23.560 game.
00:20:23.980 You're just not because I'm not.
00:20:25.380 None of us are.
00:20:26.300 All right? 0.99
00:20:26.660 How many of you are running a fucking Nike or an Apple or Amazon? 0.99
00:20:30.400 Jeff Bezos, are you listening? 0.99
00:20:31.220 Yeah, none of you are.
00:20:32.200 Okay?
00:20:32.540 So let's just get on the same page.
00:20:34.060 We're all here.
00:20:34.840 Yeah.
00:20:35.560 So whatever it is that we have that we're focusing on, if we take our energy off of that
00:20:41.780 for the next thing or the next thing or the next thing, we're going to be still
00:20:47.620 competing with people who are focusing all of their energy on that thing.
00:20:51.740 And if we take our energy off of that thing and they keep theirs on that thing, it would
00:20:55.860 be an arrogant assumption to assume that we can beat them with less than all of our
00:21:00.340 energy.
00:21:01.100 You understand?
00:21:02.300 So you cannot make the mistake of assuming that you are better than the other guy because
00:21:06.880 if the other guy, even if he's less skilled than you and he puts all his energy in and
00:21:11.680 you're only putting 80% in, that guy can beat you.
00:21:14.200 That's the reality of competition.
00:21:16.400 All right?
00:21:16.680 So it's not about, you know, what's the distraction or what's the opportunity.
00:21:22.120 It's that you haven't exercised or fulfilled your, your original opportunity to begin with,
00:21:26.560 which is why you're struggling and looking for other opportunities.
00:21:29.480 It gets a little hard.
00:21:30.440 You changed.
00:21:30.980 Correct. 0.94
00:21:31.360 And this is where people really fuck up their lives, dude, because this is what happens 0.87
00:21:35.340 to them.
00:21:35.680 And this really happens to entrepreneurs or people with careers a lot.
00:21:39.260 All right.
00:21:39.920 They get into something, they pour three years into it. 0.99
00:21:42.960 After the end of three years, they're like, fuck, this is so hard. 0.99
00:21:47.060 I want to do something else. 1.00
00:21:48.400 So they, they say, fuck it. 1.00
00:21:49.860 I'm, I'm going to start something else completely different. 1.00
00:21:52.060 They go over here. 0.99
00:21:53.180 They put three years in and after three years, they're like, fuck, this is hard. 0.99
00:21:57.860 I don't want to do this. 0.99
00:21:58.900 I want to start something else.
00:22:00.060 And then they do that again for three more years.
00:22:02.180 Now that's nine years of your life.
00:22:04.320 Okay.
00:22:04.480 We don't have unlimited opportunity here.
00:22:06.260 And by the way, the person who was, who started the same day you did, they have nine years
00:22:10.700 of experience now.
00:22:11.780 That same thing.
00:22:12.780 Exactly.
00:22:13.440 So like, dude, this is how competition actually works. 0.99
00:22:16.740 And people don't understand it because they bought into this idealistic bullshit on the 0.97
00:22:20.540 internet that, oh, there is no competition. 0.99
00:22:23.420 I'm just competing with myself. 1.00
00:22:25.500 I'm just, bro, that's bullshit. 0.99
00:22:27.420 You're competing in a real game and there's other players playing it. 0.99
00:22:30.180 And if those other players put more energy into their craft and you put into your craft,
00:22:33.960 they're going to beat you and you're going to struggle.
00:22:36.540 And because you're not putting all the energy into your original opportunity, the way that
00:22:40.480 it was laid out for you or the way that you went and grasped it and you continue to flop
00:22:44.780 from thing to thing to thing to thing, this is how you end up at 45 years old with nothing
00:22:48.760 to show for it.
00:22:49.840 You see what I'm saying?
00:22:50.600 It's okay to do that once.
00:22:51.980 It's, it's, it's, it's maybe okay to do it twice when you're early in your twenties,
00:22:55.660 but like, dude, if this is your game, you can't win.
00:22:58.240 It's impossible to win.
00:22:59.240 How can you, how can you complete a marathon? 0.95
00:23:01.580 If every time you get to mile 14, you fucking want to start over, you can't do it. 0.98
00:23:06.140 It's impossible. 0.98
00:23:07.240 Okay.
00:23:07.560 So this is not so much.
00:23:09.500 How do I, how do I recognize the, between the opportunities and the wastes of time?
00:23:15.100 This is more so how do I become aware that for me to win, I have to pour all my energy
00:23:21.040 into the thing and stay on that thing. 0.99
00:23:23.500 Yeah.
00:23:23.980 I love that.
00:23:24.340 So follow up on that, right?
00:23:25.600 Nuances aside.
00:23:27.200 Okay.
00:23:27.600 Based off of that argument is, could you also argue too, then like, it doesn't matter
00:23:31.720 what you do because the equation of success is universal, no matter what you do, whether
00:23:38.220 you think it was a distraction or not, if you focus in on that, you can eventually reach
00:23:42.620 some level of high success.
00:23:44.380 Yeah.
00:23:44.740 Because the game isn't the, absolutely.
00:23:46.940 Right.
00:23:47.380 If you're operating with intent.
00:23:49.540 Yeah.
00:23:49.880 Okay.
00:23:50.100 There's people that operate with intent.
00:23:51.680 Right.
00:23:52.320 What I mean by that is they're working.
00:23:54.280 They do the work to produce an outcome like in the gym.
00:23:57.300 Right.
00:23:57.680 Yeah.
00:23:58.000 There's people that you see in the gym for five years that never look any different.
00:24:01.300 And it's because their workouts don't have the proper intent.
00:24:03.460 They're not working out to produce a result.
00:24:05.720 They're working out to say they worked out.
00:24:07.620 All right.
00:24:08.280 Checking boxes.
00:24:09.020 Correct.
00:24:09.660 And so if you operate with the proper intent for long enough, no matter what the thing
00:24:13.900 is, you're eventually going to be successful at it because the game isn't always and usually
00:24:18.200 not who is the best.
00:24:19.720 It's usually who can last the longest.
00:24:22.660 Okay.
00:24:22.900 Because when you start out on day one, and just like I described a minute ago, three
00:24:26.800 years in, nine out of 10 of your competitors are quitting.
00:24:30.020 Now you're only competing with one person.
00:24:31.900 Right.
00:24:32.040 Right.
00:24:32.320 Now there might be a whole new group of people starting out on day one, but you're three
00:24:35.900 years ahead of those people.
00:24:37.240 Okay.
00:24:38.360 And then you go another three years and maybe that person has quit.
00:24:41.220 So now maybe you're the one of the only people doing it.
00:24:43.660 Right.
00:24:44.200 Now there's other people doing it in other cities, but not in your town.
00:24:47.240 Right.
00:24:47.520 Now all of a sudden you get to nine years or 12 years in, and now there's only, there's
00:24:51.640 only three other companies out here across the whole globe that are doing what you've
00:24:55.180 done for as long as you've done it.
00:24:56.340 And you're by default experienced, you've built the connections, you've stuck to it and
00:25:01.400 you've been operating with intent.
00:25:02.680 So by default, you're getting the business and you're becoming successful and people
00:25:06.420 get misconstrued and confused because they look on the internet and they see all these 0.99
00:25:11.180 fake motherfuckers talking about how much money they make and how successful they are. 1.00
00:25:15.420 And bro, let me, let me ask you something. 1.00
00:25:18.860 Send me a picture of their company.
00:25:21.120 Send me a picture, order their product online, not coaching a product, their service.
00:25:26.740 Where, where are their employees?
00:25:29.040 Can we see their employees?
00:25:30.360 Can we see their headquarters?
00:25:31.940 Can we see their business? 0.98
00:25:33.180 If the answer is no, you shouldn't fucking do anything with them because they're probably 0.99
00:25:37.200 lying. 0.98
00:25:37.840 They're out there standing in front of a rented lifestyle, trying to pretend that there's
00:25:42.080 something they ain't so that you'll make them rich.
00:25:45.180 Okay.
00:25:45.500 This is the game that is being played on the internet right now.
00:25:48.300 And because it's being played, you guys see them as opportunities and you give up on the
00:25:53.860 thing and you become one of the people that falls off and somebody else who's sticking
00:25:57.480 with it. 0.99
00:25:57.900 You're going to look back in six years and say, fuck, I should have stuck that through. 0.99
00:26:01.360 Does this make sense? 0.99
00:26:02.460 Absolutely, man.
00:26:03.180 You have to look at it the right way.
00:26:04.880 It's an awareness problem.
00:26:06.260 It's not a, how do I identify the, the, the waste of time?
00:26:10.960 Bro, everything's a waste of time.
00:26:12.520 If you're not at the top of your game, okay.
00:26:15.240 Like if you're not at the top of the thing that you're working on, then anything else
00:26:18.780 is a waste of time.
00:26:19.900 All right.
00:26:20.420 And of course there's nuance to this.
00:26:22.000 Of course there's things that you could break into that vertically integrate into your business
00:26:26.120 and make them better.
00:26:26.820 Right?
00:26:27.080 Like when I was doing retail, a natural alignment was after nine years of doing it was to start
00:26:32.880 my own brand to sell in the retail.
00:26:34.880 That's called vertical integration.
00:26:36.420 That's a different thing.
00:26:37.780 That's things within the thing.
00:26:39.620 That's a whole different lesson plan.
00:26:41.340 And by the way, I was actually just going to say that by the way, that's why we do Arate.
00:26:47.280 Okay.
00:26:48.280 Ed Milet and I do Arate Syndicate and you can go to ArateSyndicate.com and we cover all 1.00
00:26:53.280 of this type of shit every single fucking week. 0.99
00:26:56.400 And this is what we do. 1.00
00:26:57.760 We coach people through these kinds of things because you guys go on the internet and you
00:27:02.300 see these people who appear to be successful.
00:27:04.800 Ask yourself, what have they built?
00:27:08.400 What have they done?
00:27:10.420 Okay.
00:27:11.080 I don't care if they got some flash.
00:27:13.440 I'm saying, where's their company, where's their employees, where's their product or
00:27:18.260 service?
00:27:18.940 Can you order it?
00:27:20.060 Is it known?
00:27:21.120 How successful are they really?
00:27:23.020 What have they built?
00:27:24.260 Because if they haven't actually built anything, then their knowledge resource is going to be
00:27:28.500 limited.
00:27:29.340 All right. 0.87
00:27:30.160 And this doesn't go for people coaching people to get their physical and all that shit better. 0.94
00:27:34.700 That's a different thing. 0.91
00:27:35.500 I'm talking about business. 0.99
00:27:37.000 I'm talking about building a real business, a real fucking thing. 0.99
00:27:41.440 Not, you know, hacking some fucking lead funnel on the internet. 1.00
00:27:46.100 I'm talking about real shit. 1.00
00:27:47.640 Yeah. 1.00
00:27:47.940 Okay.
00:27:48.360 So that's my take, bro. 1.00
00:27:50.680 There's so much bullshit on the internet. 0.99
00:27:53.940 Like, there's more coaches on the internet than there is people to coach. 1.00
00:28:00.280 More coaches than players.
00:28:01.260 Yeah.
00:28:01.480 And it's become this thing where people just do this because they can't make it doing
00:28:06.560 anything else.
00:28:08.300 You know.
00:28:09.080 Let me coach you how to get somewhere I've ever been.
00:28:10.800 But here's the thing.
00:28:12.840 You know, people will say, well, they're, you know, they're making, you know, this much
00:28:16.340 money.
00:28:16.620 Okay.
00:28:16.820 That's fine.
00:28:17.380 They're making that much income.
00:28:18.900 That's like a tattoo artist getting paid to tattoo all the time.
00:28:21.820 They got to put their time in this, that, the other.
00:28:23.480 If they were a real operator and they built a real business, they know that the equity and
00:28:29.500 the value and the wealth, the real wealth is created on the equity value of their brands
00:28:34.240 and the things they actually build.
00:28:35.720 I build real companies.
00:28:37.380 Okay.
00:28:37.600 I got a whole bunch of them.
00:28:38.780 It's not just first form.
00:28:39.720 There's a whole bunch.
00:28:40.880 Okay. 1.00
00:28:41.520 So I build real shit. 1.00
00:28:43.440 And what I'm teaching you is real shit. 1.00
00:28:45.260 Not fucking, you know, how to fucking hack Amazon drop shipping for a week. 0.99
00:28:51.360 Like that's not, we're not, we're talking about building real things. 0.98
00:28:55.180 It's very important for you to be able to recognize the difference.
00:28:57.820 I'm not saying that someone who is a coach who, you know, there's very few coaches out there
00:29:02.120 that offer real value.
00:29:03.120 There is a few though.
00:29:04.460 All right.
00:29:05.120 I'm not saying they don't offer real value.
00:29:06.820 I'm not saying they won't help you with your mental game.
00:29:08.620 I'm not saying they won't help you get out of your own way and get going.
00:29:10.980 But what I am saying is that when it comes to actually building something, you should 0.99
00:29:14.680 be trying to learn from people who have actually built shit and the internet fucks that up 0.99
00:29:18.640 for you guys. 1.00
00:29:19.180 And because it's so flashy and so fucking quick. 0.99
00:29:22.100 And so you're, you're working on this thing and you're over here thinking like, damn dude, 0.99
00:29:26.220 look at all these guys doing all this thing, bro. 0.98
00:29:29.420 I did that for 10 years, man.
00:29:31.560 I had to watch every single person I know go out and do better than me. 0.93
00:29:34.420 It sucked. 0.96
00:29:35.380 It was horrible. 0.99
00:29:36.380 But guess what? 1.00
00:29:38.240 Not a single one of those motherfuckers earns as much as I've earned in a fucking week at 1.00
00:29:42.980 this point in my life. 1.00
00:29:44.380 Okay. 1.00
00:29:44.900 That is real shit. 1.00
00:29:46.520 So all those people that I went out and fucking watched and had to listen to telling me to 1.00
00:29:51.720 get a real job and to, you know, get realistic. 0.97
00:29:54.320 And when am I going to grow up and what am I going to do those same people who told me that 1.00
00:29:59.100 shit? 1.00
00:29:59.840 Okay. 1.00
00:30:00.560 20 something years ago, those same people now are wishing that they would have joined
00:30:07.040 me then you see.
00:30:08.860 So you're going to get the last laugh.
00:30:10.580 Don't think just because you're working on this thing right now and everybody else is out
00:30:14.920 here smiling.
00:30:15.960 You're seeing their highlight reel, bro.
00:30:18.240 You're seeing their smiles.
00:30:19.680 You're seeing what they want you to see. 1.00
00:30:21.060 It's fucking marketing. 1.00
00:30:22.480 This shit is hard and it takes time. 1.00
00:30:24.320 It takes a lot less time than it took me because I didn't have the internet. 1.00
00:30:27.260 I didn't have social media.
00:30:28.520 Okay.
00:30:29.040 So focus in on the thing, become great at the thing and understand that the game isn't,
00:30:33.820 you know, how many home runs I can hit.
00:30:36.600 It's, it's bunts and singles and stolen bases. 0.99
00:30:39.360 That's what the fuck it is over the course of 20 years. 0.99
00:30:41.980 That's what it is. 0.98
00:30:43.160 Can you order their product?
00:30:44.820 Can you see their building?
00:30:46.660 Can you see their employees?
00:30:48.480 Are they known?
00:30:49.680 How many companies have they built?
00:30:51.840 What are they?
00:30:53.140 Can I order from them?
00:30:54.720 Right.
00:30:54.980 Let's ask some qualifying questions. 1.00
00:30:57.140 Stop just believing motherfuckers that post shit on the internet. 1.00
00:31:00.740 It's very simple. 1.00
00:31:02.760 Guys, Andy, question number three.
00:31:05.020 Hey, Andy, I've been in business for five years and every year I've made progress.
00:31:09.920 A few months ago, I had an old friend who owns a business, not necessarily a competitor,
00:31:14.800 but he approached me asking about some inside logistics and information on how I run my business.
00:31:20.060 I was more than happy to help.
00:31:21.920 But a couple of weeks later, I noticed that they were not only copying the information I gave them,
00:31:27.320 but also copying little small details that only our company does.
00:31:31.920 What do you think I should do to address the situation?
00:31:34.100 Should I just stop sharing information with them and cut him off completely or continue to work with them and only share selected information?
00:31:39.980 Well, look, I share things with my friends, okay?
00:31:46.320 Like when I talk to Ed or I talk to Alex Ramosi or I talk to any of my friends, we share information with an explicit understanding that we're not just going to straight fucking copy each other and rip each other off.
00:31:58.160 Okay, we understand Ed's brand, Alex's brand, all different things, different ideas can work within the brand.
00:32:05.560 But unfortunately, most people don't understand that because they're just in this rush to make as much money as possible.
00:32:11.580 So they can't understand that they have to create their own brand and then use tips and tricks within their own brand, okay? 0.99
00:32:19.500 So in this scenario, and this has happened to me before too, where I've shared in Goodwill and then had someone just straight up rip off my shit. 0.98
00:32:29.360 Verbatim sometimes. 0.98
00:32:30.400 Yeah, absolutely.
00:32:31.320 It happens all the time. 0.97
00:32:32.260 There's a fucking new, I don't want to get into it. 0.99
00:32:35.880 Yeah. 0.99
00:32:36.180 It's all the time. 1.00
00:32:37.020 Like I have to send out fucking lawsuit letters every single week because of the level of copying that people do on my shit. 0.99
00:32:47.480 So here's the thing. 0.99
00:32:48.880 They've already displayed that they're not trustworthy enough or intelligent enough to apply the information that you're giving in a specific way.
00:32:56.320 All right.
00:32:57.040 So immediately cut off sharing anything with them.
00:33:02.320 And furthermore, understand that you're going to continue to do your thing and then they're not going to understand what you're doing.
00:33:09.100 Okay. 0.96
00:33:09.840 And this brings us into like a further, a deeper discussion because people always say this saying and it gets on my fucking nerves so bad. 0.89
00:33:17.580 But, you know, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. 0.94
00:33:21.620 No, it isn't. 1.00
00:33:22.160 It's a fucking form of you don't know what the fuck you're doing. 1.00
00:33:24.880 Okay. 1.00
00:33:25.280 You can't think of an original idea so you got to steal it from people. 0.99
00:33:29.220 And so there's a number of reasons why you don't want to straight up copy someone's shit. 0.97
00:33:34.020 And I'm going to break them down for you. 0.98
00:33:35.260 Okay.
00:33:35.860 First off, you have no idea if what they're doing actually works.
00:33:41.320 When you look at a brand and like I just said in the previous question, you don't know who's who.
00:33:47.300 There's a lot of people out here who are fake.
00:33:49.540 And if you choose to copy the wrong person, all right, you're copying on.
00:33:54.260 It's like copying a math test when you're in school. 0.97
00:33:56.520 Like you don't know if the person of the right knows what the fuck they're doing. 0.93
00:33:59.620 So you're copying something that you don't even know works. 0.75
00:34:02.300 That business or that company or that person could be massively in debt and on the verge of failing.
00:34:07.680 And because you don't want to go out and develop your own brand and you think they're doing well, you're copying a faulty play.
00:34:14.040 Okay.
00:34:14.560 Which is very dangerous.
00:34:16.980 All right.
00:34:17.800 Second point is if you do copy a brand, if you do end up copying a brand and saying, you know, okay, you pick the right one who actually knows what you're doing.
00:34:26.500 You have to understand that there is a time lapse framework to the ideas between when the idea has first come up with and when the idea is seen in public.
00:34:35.000 And that's usually about a year to two years.
00:34:37.680 All right.
00:34:38.220 Maybe three.
00:34:39.180 So what does that mean for you when you copy someone's end result on the Internet, right?
00:34:43.880 You see a brand, let's just say like mine, and you're copying it.
00:34:47.200 Okay.
00:34:47.480 But what you don't understand is that I already have the next two to three years planned out and I'm working on those things now.
00:34:53.380 So what you're copying is actually a version of what I was working on two to three years ago, which means you're always going to be two to three years behind no matter what I do.
00:35:02.620 And that's not a good place to be.
00:35:04.780 All right. 0.61
00:35:05.340 So not only do you not know if it's working or not, if you do happen to fucking pick one that's working, you put yourself in a position where you you are automatically always behind always forever. 0.82
00:35:15.960 Okay. 0.79
00:35:16.900 Third, people recognize a copycat brand.
00:35:21.000 People recognize that immediately.
00:35:23.220 Like you think you're fooling everybody.
00:35:24.860 Dude, people are smart.
00:35:25.740 They understand.
00:35:26.480 And so when they look at you and they say, okay, that person is just a different version of that.
00:35:31.600 All right.
00:35:32.180 Instead of being the market leader in what you do, what happens is your brand equity automatically shrinks and you get slotted as a copycat and never get the respect that you're looking for.
00:35:41.980 And the brand never grows the way you want it to grow. 0.96
00:35:44.000 And so when you hear people say imitation is the highest form of flattery, understand those people know what the fuck they're talking about. 0.95
00:35:51.360 Okay. 0.96
00:35:51.620 Because imitating another brand when you don't know what the fuck is actually going on is very risky and highly damaging and probably going to end up with you and whatever it is you're working on going broke. 0.89
00:36:01.620 All right. 0.94
00:36:02.280 So for this person here, stop talking to them.
00:36:05.700 Understand that they're going to steal everything they can from you.
00:36:08.340 Stop giving them any help and they will fail on their own because it's clear in my mind.
00:36:12.520 Understand from the information that you've just shared that they don't know what they're doing and they're looking for a hack or looking for a quick fix or looking to copy and let them go copy someone else and learn this lesson on their own.
00:36:22.480 They're probably never going to learn it.
00:36:23.840 These people will probably never be able to innovate, never be able to create, never be able to think, never be able to be original.
00:36:29.580 Now, I'm not saying you can't let other brands influence you.
00:36:32.840 I'm not saying you can't like say, okay, I like the way those guys do that one thing.
00:36:37.960 We can get better at that one thing in this way and then getting better in your own way.
00:36:42.640 Does that make sense?
00:36:43.600 Or using the negatives like, hey, this company did that. 0.94
00:36:45.940 That fucked them up.
00:36:46.660 Don't do that. 0.98
00:36:47.300 Correct.
00:36:47.900 Correct.
00:36:48.420 It works on the plus and the minus.
00:36:50.340 All right.
00:36:50.620 But here's the thing. 0.99
00:36:52.300 This copying shit, like it's not going to work. 0.99
00:36:55.460 Okay. 1.00
00:36:55.680 This is why like you see, you see this on fucking it. 0.94
00:36:58.660 I'll just use Alex, which we just talked about him. 0.90
00:37:01.220 You see all these people trying to copy Alex's content, the same text, the same content flow. 0.98
00:37:07.940 Motherfucker, there's only one Alex. 0.99
00:37:09.420 The Tink Tops. 1.00
00:37:10.240 Okay. 1.00
00:37:10.640 And this dude has went out and built real shit. 1.00
00:37:13.700 Okay. 1.00
00:37:14.000 And I can tell you because I know he's working on shit that you don't even know about yet. 1.00
00:37:18.140 So everything you're copying is the old shit. 1.00
00:37:21.060 So if you're copying the old shit and he's coming out with new shit, where does that place you? 1.00
00:37:25.540 It places you below. 1.00
00:37:26.600 And every single person that sees your shit says that guy's just trying to rip off Alex. 0.99
00:37:30.880 And then what happens? 0.99
00:37:31.940 Nobody respects you and your content never goes.
00:37:34.380 And if you apply this concept that we're talking about with content to actual business, it's parallel.
00:37:39.500 It's the same thing.
00:37:40.760 Okay. 0.98
00:37:41.100 So cut that dude off. 0.99
00:37:43.220 Stop giving him any information. 0.74
00:37:44.700 It's totally okay to share information with their friends if they understand brand enough to know like, okay, this technique works over here for me in this other way.
00:37:57.380 It's the same thing, but I'm doing it in our brand's way, right?
00:38:00.380 It has to be aligned with the brand.
00:38:02.000 So, you know, too many of you guys, you don't give credit enough to the person who's actually doing it as a smart, intelligent person.
00:38:10.180 And let me, let me think how, like, let's be real. 0.99
00:38:12.960 How fucking stupid do you feel now for copying people after I just described all that? 1.00
00:38:18.080 You should feel really fucking dumb. 1.00
00:38:19.820 Yeah. 1.00
00:38:20.180 Okay. 0.63
00:38:20.400 Because it's going to kill you. 0.99
00:38:21.640 And the reason your shit isn't working and the reason nobody's resonating with your content and the reason that, you know, your product's not going is because everybody recognizes exactly what you're doing. 1.00
00:38:30.900 You're not fooling anybody. 0.99
00:38:32.360 Okay.
00:38:32.820 So what's that?
00:38:33.700 What?
00:38:34.120 So, okay.
00:38:34.560 We all got all that.
00:38:35.420 So what's the solution to that?
00:38:36.920 The solution to that is be original, be authentic.
00:38:40.080 Okay.
00:38:40.920 Authenticity is the most powerful thing that you could have as a personal brand and a company.
00:38:45.240 Be who you are.
00:38:46.740 Take some time and decide who am I, who do I want to be?
00:38:50.340 Okay.
00:38:50.800 Like when first forms first started getting out the gate, like back in 2012, like we started in 09, but like it started like picking up steam in 12.
00:38:58.160 We had to make like conscious decisions about what our brand was.
00:39:01.600 And at the time, bro, all the big brands were like either in South Florida or out in California.
00:39:05.880 Right.
00:39:06.380 And everybody down in South Florida looked like they were from Jersey shore.
00:39:09.920 Okay.
00:39:10.220 They all had like slick back hair and they wore tank tops and they were all jacked.
00:39:13.880 Right.
00:39:14.280 And everybody in California looked the same way, but you know, liberal.
00:39:18.340 Okay.
00:39:18.780 Like, let's be real.
00:39:20.580 So, so we're like, we're like country dudes from Missouri.
00:39:24.520 Right. 0.99
00:39:25.020 And we're like, fuck, what are we supposed to do? 0.99
00:39:26.780 Like walk, slick our hair back and walk around tank tops. 1.00
00:39:29.680 Like, no, we're going to be who the fuck we are. 0.99
00:39:32.320 We're regular people trying to do some regular shit, trying to help people. 0.99
00:39:35.400 And guess what? 0.98
00:39:36.240 That made our brand authentic over the course of the last fucking 14 years. 0.98
00:39:40.780 Okay. 0.97
00:39:41.180 And that's still who we are.
00:39:42.300 We're just regular people out here working hard, trying to help people get results.
00:39:45.380 So like, dude, just because you're not what someone else is, doesn't mean what you're
00:39:51.880 doing won't work.
00:39:52.720 In all likelihood, it means it will work even better if you just lean into that.
00:39:56.280 Does that make sense? 0.99
00:39:57.320 So most, you guys got to put some thought and some development into who the fuck you 0.98
00:40:01.580 are and what you stand for and where you come from and let those things resonate into 0.97
00:40:05.640 your brand, not just your personal brand, but your actual business.
00:40:08.320 So how much energy would you say you should divert or invest, I guess, in this area?
00:40:14.420 Like, as far as like, you know, going to these people who are doing the copycat, right?
00:40:18.760 Because like, if it's going to fail on their own. 0.99
00:40:20.360 Oh, I wouldn't say shit. 1.00
00:40:21.380 Yeah. 0.99
00:40:21.660 I would just stop answering their texts.
00:40:23.440 Like I would stop answering their question.
00:40:25.160 Like, look, dude, that's available.
00:40:26.620 Look, dude, like I said in the first question, you only have so much energy.
00:40:30.580 So any energy you spend confronting this person about them stealing your information is energy
00:40:36.040 you're taking off the thing.
00:40:37.280 Okay.
00:40:38.080 So don't spend any energy.
00:40:39.660 Just stop answering their question.
00:40:41.220 Doesn't mean you have to burn them down. 1.00
00:40:42.500 Doesn't mean you have to go on the internet and talk some shit. 0.99
00:40:44.540 Like, bro, just stop the connection. 0.98
00:40:46.820 Let them go figure it out.
00:40:48.220 They'll find someone else to copy and they'll continue to make the mistakes that I just laid
00:40:51.860 out for you forever.
00:40:53.180 And you want to worry about them.
00:40:54.480 All right.
00:40:55.280 That's how it works. 1.00
00:40:56.180 So stop answering their fucking texts. 0.99
00:40:58.200 You can still be, you can still be friendly with them, but you have to remember anybody who's 1.00
00:41:02.020 taking from you in that way, they're not your friend.
00:41:04.480 They're not your friend.
00:41:05.360 You're doing a goodwill to actually help this person. 0.98
00:41:08.060 And instead of that person actually doing the work and saying, fuck, how does this actually 0.97
00:41:12.220 work for my brand? 0.99
00:41:13.540 How do I take this and do that?
00:41:15.860 Okay. 1.00
00:41:16.340 Instead of just taking your shit and making it their shit, that's a big difference. 1.00
00:41:20.340 That's somebody taking from you. 1.00
00:41:22.140 Your friends will not take from you.
00:41:23.880 Your friends will only give to you.
00:41:25.500 They will only help you win.
00:41:27.360 So, so you could still be friendly.
00:41:29.040 You could be nice.
00:41:29.780 You could say hi when you see them, you could even send them memes and joke around and be
00:41:34.040 all that.
00:41:34.560 But when it comes to the actual helping of their business, stop because they have displayed 1.00
00:41:39.320 very clearly that they do not respect your shit. 1.00
00:41:42.200 They don't, they want to take from you. 1.00
00:41:43.740 And the whole reason they're probably friendly with you in the first place is so that they
00:41:47.020 can get close for that information.
00:41:48.360 You know how many people try to get close to me?
00:41:50.140 So they think that I'm going to give them some secrets. 1.00
00:41:52.360 Motherfucker, you can't do what I do. 1.00
00:41:54.160 I can give you the whole playbook. 1.00
00:41:55.480 And by the way, I've been doing it for eight years and not a single one of you motherfuckers 0.99
00:41:58.380 has come and got me because you can't because I'm authentic and I'm me and you ain't me 0.99
00:42:02.640 and you ain't ever going to be me. 0.61
00:42:03.840 This is why so many people point to me every single fucking day on the internet to these 0.97
00:42:07.520 people. 0.98
00:42:07.860 They're like, look, that dude's trying to be like Frisella. 0.99
00:42:10.220 No shit, but I don't care about it. 0.98
00:42:12.020 I'm not going to call him out about it because I understand that by them trying to be like 0.99
00:42:15.080 me, they're going to stay right where they are and I'm going to keep going.
00:42:17.440 I love that, man.
00:42:18.780 All right. 0.95
00:42:19.400 Fucking love it, man. 0.96
00:42:20.200 Guys, Andy, that's three. 0.97
00:42:21.960 All right, go pay the fee.
00:42:25.480 Yeah, went from sleeping on the floor.
00:42:27.700 Now my jewelry box froze. 1.00
00:42:29.400 Fuck a pole, fuck a stove. 1.00
00:42:31.060 Counted millions in the cold. 1.00
00:42:32.740 Bad bitch, booted swole. 1.00
00:42:34.400 Got her on bankroll. 1.00
00:42:36.040 Can't fold.
00:42:36.920 That's a no headshot.
00:42:38.560 Case closed.
