00:02:36.420 guys to uh share the show so uh don't be a hoe share the show all right what's up I feel like time 1.00

00:02:42.220 is just flying why do you feel that way well because I do like I look up and it's we're like two weeks

00:02:47.580 out from Christmas like I feel like things are just like time is just going by quick and like it made me

00:02:53.940 think like did you ever believe in that that saying that you know time flies when you're having fun

00:02:58.060 is that like a real thing for you man time always feel like I honestly yeah I have so much going on

00:03:06.380 at all the time that it always feels that way whether it's fun or not yeah you know I guess

00:03:11.220 that's good because even when shit's hard it goes fast because I've got so much going on but I think 0.50

00:03:15.860 there's truth to that you know it's always like you're the best party or the best day or the best 0.81

00:03:21.400 event and all of a sudden it's over it's over yeah so I think that there's a lot of truth to that

00:03:25.860 yeah I just feel like this entire year has just gone by fast man like well you're you're coming

00:03:30.600 up on 25 years it's a big big that's a big milestone yeah 25 years in a quarter of a century yeah in

00:03:39.800 business like that's the same business that's crazy the same industry right uh yeah it definitely

00:03:47.440 you know I was thinking about this you know what's cool about business that is different from being an

00:03:54.900 athlete right like I grew up wanting to be an entertainer or an athlete and I was a decent

00:04:01.240 athlete um I probably could have grinded out a division one college career I wouldn't have been

00:04:06.560 a star um but that would have been it okay my brother was much more athletic than me he he could

00:04:14.060 have been he could have been a star playing pro baseball had he not had his injury um but one of the

00:04:22.100 things I really think about when I think about business and entrepreneurship that I think is cool

00:04:26.140 is that you know how like as you become an athlete the older you get the worse you get but in business

00:04:31.540 the older you get the better you get because you accumulate more and more and more skills more and

00:04:35.540 more and more knowledge you have the ability to observe experiences and you can recognize them at

00:04:41.360 later date the intuition grows your ability to perceive things grows and like really you just become a

00:04:47.060 much more former formidable weapon uh of an entrepreneur the longer you do it yeah so like

00:04:52.800 you know yeah you say that that exists in sports but there is definitely like this cap there's like

00:04:56.820 there's limit there's a physical limitation how long you can go with it right well okay for like a coach

00:05:02.120 right there's a reason why most of the great coaches are 60 years old yeah it's because they

00:05:07.460 fucking seen everything every fucking play every technique yeah so like there's I like that about business 0.95

00:05:13.260 you know when I look at business and I look at what what we've accomplished in business um you know 0.99

00:05:19.000 it's it's incredible it really is like and I'm not saying that to brag I'm saying that as a as a matter

00:05:24.460 of fact you know it's it's an incredible achievement I think at 44 years old I've achieved more than

00:05:29.720 what most entrepreneurs would ever achieve an entire career yeah um but but I don't hang my hat on that

00:05:37.040 at all I don't walk around and think man to me I'm I still feel 25 and I'm just excited to have all

00:05:44.500 that experience and knowledge so what can I do for the next 25 years you know what I'm saying and that's

00:05:49.840 kind of like that's how I look at it so you know it's it has gone fast it's like that like what you

00:05:56.040 said about uh the having fun like time flies yeah it hasn't always been fun yeah but there has been a

00:06:01.540 lot of fun you know some of my best friends in the world even people that you know were part of the

00:06:06.240 company at one time that are no longer apart that I'm still really good friends with and they're

00:06:09.720 out building things and doing things there it's just been a very rewarding experience all in all

00:06:14.880 even though it's been very difficult uh it's never been easy ever but it's been rewarding and I think

00:06:22.620 that's a universal truth or law to most things that are hard most things that are hard are rewarding

00:06:27.380 you know and so it falls right in line with everybody thinks um but honestly like other than it

00:06:34.440 being 25 years it's just feels like another opportunity to get better man yeah I love it

00:06:40.620 I'm just wired that way yeah I just think it's cool man because like I mean you don't like I mean again

00:06:45.980 like I'm not the entrepreneur right but like just looking at a company like 25 years in business like

00:06:50.760 but that's a lot that's a lot of years man it's a lot of years and so yeah people now that's our

00:06:57.520 first form now first form was found in 2009 right so we're what 19 14 years old right almost 15 years

00:07:05.940 old first form uh s2 is 25 years old 25 years old yeah um that's pretty cool yeah I mean that's what

00:07:14.420 I'm like and to see like where it is today versus where it was 25 years ago yeah I mean look man 0.85

00:07:21.640 the first three years we spent fucking sleeping in the back of the store on and off on a fucking 0.98

00:07:27.640 mattress that we got from Salvation Army dude had a fucking piss stain on it like Chris and I lay on 1.00

00:07:33.100 that motherfucker together two big-ass fucking young men that aren't gay you know what I'm saying 1.00

00:07:37.940 like that would be normal yeah you know it was it was I mean look man the whole story is crazy and 1.00

00:07:45.920 one day we'll do a whole podcast telling the whole story but uh the reality of it is is like yeah it's 0.59

00:07:52.360 been a fucking battle bro and it's been a journey I've met a lot of cool people I've you know had a 0.65

00:07:57.820 lot of really cool experiences had a lot of really hard times um had a lot of big wins uh but when I 0.98

00:08:05.760 look back you know on where I'm at in life and I acknowledge you know the legitimate accomplishes

00:08:11.160 accomplishments that I've had I'm I'm I'm like if something were to happen to me tomorrow I feel

00:08:17.040 like I've done some shit yeah you know what I'm saying like substance there yeah and and and I'm

00:08:21.360 not saying what I'm about to say to brag but like I've created two number one podcasts in different 0.98

00:08:27.060 formats okay um I've built a company that's worth 10 figures I built a company that's worth nine

00:08:33.260 figures I built a number of companies that do eight figures um and I have a bunch more that are in

00:08:39.260 seven figure that are going to soon be eight nine figure businesses so like I've done some real

00:08:43.960 shit and then you throw 75 hard on top of that which is pretty much the as far as to my knowledge 0.77

00:08:49.820 the world's biggest ever in history mental recalibration program you know that's free yeah 0.99

00:08:56.960 and so when I think of the number of impact the people impacted and careers built and all that stuff

00:09:03.580 at being 44 years old that makes me proud and it's also one of the reasons I get so upset with like

00:09:09.760 some of the entrepreneur culture that's going around you know um those rewards and that gratitude and

00:09:15.380 those accomplishments don't come from something that you do for six weeks or a few months or some

00:09:22.120 bullshit course that you buy you know it's a lifetime commitment and I'm even thinking 25 years

00:09:27.940 no bro listen man look there's a lot to unpack there but all in all man I'm grateful to be here 0.96

00:09:36.280 I'm grateful to be where I'm at um I'm proud of the work that we do on real AF in regards to what's

00:09:44.660 important with culture and the country and and the social environment I feel like you know I feel

00:09:51.740 like if something were to happen to me like you guys shouldn't be sad you should be like well he

00:09:55.560 fucking maximizes time and I feel I feel I feel that way yeah you know like I do feel that way

00:10:01.000 and uh hopefully nothing happens to me but uh you know I'm excited where we're going from here 0.98

00:10:06.860 because when I look out here and I see all these young people and I see all these people um you know

00:10:13.340 growing their careers and helping people and doing things that are positive and culture and society

00:10:18.380 being a good example of a great human being I look out at all our podcast listeners who are like

00:10:23.380 you know maybe thinking that you know living a free life was more so I do whatever I want and now

00:10:29.820 looking at it like a free life means I have an obligation to make the environment good for the

00:10:34.920 people becoming coming behind us and the people who have sacrificed like when I see everybody kind

00:10:40.400 of doing the thing now versus where we were even five six years ago you know it's cool yeah it's cool

00:10:47.680 I think we got a lot of work to do though I'm excited to do it yeah that's a fact man yeah well guys Andy

00:10:52.680 I got three good ones for you let's uh let's knock these out Andy guys question number one Andy

00:10:57.820 um a lot of members of Congress are leaving recently and this is uh opening a lot of uh a lot of doors

00:11:03.940 for a lot new members what do you think will be the change that happens in Congress like will it be

00:11:09.300 more Gen X and millennials entering Congress and finally putting this country on the right path like

00:11:13.980 what do you what do you see the landscape changing to I am not sure but if what I actually believe is

00:11:22.620 I think a lot of these people are resigning because they're realizing that the old ways of doing things

00:11:29.700 are over you know the the establishment Republicans are getting very frustrated with the you know the

00:11:36.980 quote-unquote MAGA Republicans which reality I don't think that I think that's a that's an intentionally

00:11:43.820 negative label that they try to put on these people when in reality these are just pro-freedom

00:11:49.840 people that like want a more uh a less corrupt government without all these backdoor deals I

00:11:55.580 don't think it has very much to do with Trump I think it has more to do with what this country is

00:11:59.600 actually supposed to be I think these a lot of these people are patriots I think a lot of these people

00:12:03.580 coming in now are not going to allow the uh establishment backdoor traditional deals to be 0.58

00:12:11.160 made um I could be wrong but I think what's happening is a lot of these people are recognizing 0.92

00:12:15.820 that and they're like shit dude I'm gonna lose this and I'm gonna end up getting hung up on it in 0.96

00:12:20.620 some sort of congressional inquiry or you know and so they're they're they're fucking bouncing before 0.99

00:12:26.240 shit gets weird you know what I mean even though that won't save them no it won't but you know I I 0.97

00:12:31.400 think that you know when you look at everybody else that's got that's coming in and you're you're 0.97

00:12:35.560 like let's say you're let's say dude like okay in the beginning you know you're looking around and

00:12:41.380 there's 500 other people who are of like mind you know yes they're democrat yes they're republican

00:12:47.200 but we all know how it works how it works is I do deals on the side you guys do deals on the side

00:12:55.040 we don't tell on each other we all get rich and we sort of work together and then we pretend not to

00:13:00.540 and that's kind of the deal we'll solve some of the shit yeah yeah and then they go play golf and 0.91

00:13:05.440 go to dinner and be rich fucks right um and what I see happening is like you see a guy like Matt 0.98

00:13:12.340 Gates come in right or even some of these other uh these other older guys who are speaking up 0.94

00:13:17.920 jim jordan yes they're the the patriotic americans are starting to say no we're not doing this and I'm

00:13:26.780 not going to do this thing either and I think what they're seeing is like you know at first

00:13:31.960 those corrupt people are all looking and they're like oh yeah there's two of those guys they're not 0.90

00:13:35.340 with us you know fuck them right but then there's eight of them then there's 10 of them now there's 1.00

00:13:40.980 30 of them and everybody's like oh shit then they look at the polls and they look at the culture and 1.00

00:13:46.280 they see how much the average american is how frustrated they are with the system and the government 0.98

00:13:52.360 and what's been going on in the world and I think they're seeing the fact that like their days are

00:13:57.240 numbered in terms of being able to operate with uh no consequences and just rob us blind and do things

00:14:05.540 that are hard for us so that's I'm not sure but that's how I'm reading the situation I think a lot 0.94

00:14:11.140 of these people are starting to realize like oh shit there's more of them this time oh there's more

00:14:17.220 there's more coming and then they look out on the local election landscape and they're like these 0.98

00:14:22.200 are the only people winning elections they're the only people winning school boards they're the only

00:14:26.100 people winning state elections and they see what's coming yep you know I mean what do you say to the

00:14:32.360 to the average uh american citizen that you know maybe listening to this show right now you know but

00:14:38.260 you know I mean what do you think dude no I agree with that that consensus I think a lot of I mean

00:14:43.640 there's a lot of them that are leaving out and dropping out and retiring yeah trying to get out

00:14:47.740 of here and uh you know go live off of all the stock trades that they've made and uh I think that's

00:14:53.480 wrong but I don't think it's going to save them I think the sweep's coming for sure uh but but I look

00:14:58.420 at you know my my thing is like I'm I feel for you know the average american that's like I said

00:15:03.320 listening to this show I've always been one that says like you know if you see something wrong fix it

00:15:07.800 right like if it's in your means do something about it right is that a practical thing

00:15:13.600 like do you think because I feel like we need it more now than ever right we need more average

00:15:18.480 americans getting into these systems getting into congress and fixing the problems that we all know

00:15:23.820 is wrong how practical is that well it's always harder when people are having a harder time surviving

00:15:31.060 yeah right um and right now people are having a harder time surviving so it's very hard for people

00:15:37.940 to want to do more than what they're already doing when it's taking all they got just to pay their bills

00:15:42.040 and keep the lights on yeah and that's intentional all right so that's an intentional strategy to keep

00:15:47.320 the common man out of these situations uh and what what does that leave that leaves these situations

00:15:53.080 open to people who are not actually contributing are not actually building are not creating don't have any

00:16:01.380 real responsibility and they're able to just kind of like do whatever they want in life and if we look

00:16:05.760 at the school boards and we look at the county boards and we look at these these small local

00:16:10.260 governments across the country you know this has been the case you know we have a bunch of people

00:16:15.880 who are not patriotic who do not actually care about our constitution who don't care about right and

00:16:21.900 wrong who are not contributing members of society they're not doing anything productive and they've

00:16:27.400 taken over these little local governments and you know I think over the last four years a lot of that's

00:16:32.940 been taken back and uh but I think a lot more has to happen and so we talk about practicality

00:16:40.120 you know your first and foremost responsibility is to be an excellent human being in all regards you

00:16:47.820 know fit healthy intelligent high earning as much as possible taking care of your family

00:16:53.380 and and to conquer that and then you know the second phase of that responsibility would be to get

00:16:59.480 involved in your local situations when you can you know a lot of change culturally can happen just

00:17:05.120 from that so um you know what we really need is we need like for example you know I don't make money

00:17:14.080 doing this show I don't get fucking ad revenue I don't take ads uh but one of the reasons I do this

00:17:19.740 show is because I feel called to do it and speak out in front of an audience of millions of people over the 0.97

00:17:26.880 course of a month from a standpoint of service like hey these are the things that we need to work on

00:17:34.100 and so like I've found myself in this sort of like conductor seat like over here over here over here

00:17:41.800 and I think people just have to look at it what can they do in their own little communities you know

00:17:47.080 I don't I don't think everybody needs to go run for president or run for senator or run for congress

00:17:51.420 united states congress or anything but if you can you know what I'm saying um but I think all of you

00:17:58.780 can participate in your local school board meetings I think most of you can participate in your county

00:18:03.180 meetings your town meetings your community and I think over the course of time Americans have just

00:18:08.740 gotten away from that and they have lost the understanding that those things are important

00:18:13.260 and valuable to our our communities in our culture and while they took the eye off the ball those 1.00

00:18:19.440 places were were overrun with far leftists and and communists yeah disgusting shit who you know 0.99

00:18:27.180 we've seen these clips all over the internet for years and years and years of you know people in 1.00

00:18:33.260 the school board you know like that Loudoun County stuff that happened where that that 17 year old boy

00:18:39.360 who was dressing as a girl was in the girl's restroom raped one of the girls and then the dad freaks out 0.97

00:18:45.640 and they fucking arrested dad and the school boards up there were like trying to like say that guy has 0.98

00:18:50.980 rights that kid no he doesn't have fucking rights and the reality is dude to another thing I saw a video 0.99

00:18:56.780 this morning um on the internet it was like a recap remember we covered that story about the uh 50 year 0.99

00:19:05.660 old man swimming in the pool with 13 year old girls well he did it again okay and there was another video

00:19:11.080 of this and there's like this camera guy and he's like harassing this guy right he's like why are you

00:19:15.840 doing this why are you doing this why are you doing this and at the end the guy goes who's going to

00:19:20.920 protect me from these people like the the man who's swimming with the kids look bro I don't here's what

00:19:26.220 I don't understand I don't understand how this how parents of these girls are allowing this to happen 0.99

00:19:33.420 like where are the men you know what I'm saying like dude 20 years ago 10 years ago like if there

00:19:40.360 was a pedophile in your neighborhood he just kind of went away right like nobody knows where Jeff moved 0.98

00:19:46.140 that's right he just went away yeah like dude parents can solve this shit they're just not solving 1.00

00:19:51.260 it men can solve this shit they're just not solving it and I can tell you this if I had a girl and she 1.00

00:19:56.540 was 13 and there was a 50 year old man in there while she's changing that dude would be in a fucking 1.00

00:20:01.180 hole like the next day yep covet yes whatever I don't care look bro I don't even care if I go to 1.00

00:20:08.920 jail for it yeah I don't even care it's necessary yes and in this waving a camera in their fucking 1.00

00:20:14.640 face and shit ain't gonna get it done motherfuckers we're past the point as we're trying to yes these 1.00

00:20:18.440 people feel entitled to our fucking children period yep if a grown man is going to say he's a trans age 1.00

00:20:28.100 13 year old girl who is changing in a girl's restroom competing in a girl's event and none of the men 1.00

00:20:36.400 in the neighborhood are going to do anything like what the fuck is going on yeah no bro every single 1.00

00:20:45.820 one of those dads is a fucking bitch real talk that's real talk like if your daughter was involved 1.00

00:20:51.780 in that and you didn't do shit would have been in the pool drag them out bro I can't understand it 1.00

00:20:58.740 ain't happening hold on Ryan let me call him let me let me put him on camera no yeah the things you do to 0.99

00:21:04.500 people like that you do not put on camera right exactly holy fuck yeah thanks yeah man oh yeah bro we have 0.98

00:21:14.280 a pedophilia problem in our culture and it's real it's not bullshit it's not conspiracy it's not this or 0.99

00:21:19.640 that we have a culture that is legitimately chosen to be in preyed on it's not only that bro the communist 0.82

00:21:26.740 insurgency in our country is trying to remove all boundaries this already happened it happened in the

00:21:31.700 Weimar Republic in 1930s Germany I've been saying this for years and years and years okay this and then

00:21:38.380 when these people are finally handled they're gonna write the history books like it was unjust you know 0.98

00:21:44.320 what I'm saying like these people are fucking little kids bro they're your kids and they're trying we 0.99

00:21:50.020 see it in Spain we see in Europe we see people of parliament and governments saying that children 1.00

00:21:57.640 should decide if if they can if they want to have sex with a with an adult it's their decision like 0.99

00:22:05.420 you understand yeah like they're trying to make laws to protect it pedophilia is a fucking legitimate 0.98

00:22:12.460 mainstream thing that hides under the surface okay like when you go to the grocery store there's 0.97

00:22:19.940 pedophiles in the grocery store like a lot of them yep okay and it's so rampant and it's so big 0.98

00:22:26.600 that and nobody wants to say you know uh hey I'm a pedophile right I don't want to fucking say that in 0.98

00:22:32.980 public but their actions are all in defense of these kinds of people right they're they're we're 0.96

00:22:40.400 seeing that we're seeing people call them minor attracted people we're seeing people justify

00:22:45.940 pedophilia in literal college classrooms we're seeing entire groups of people like allow these

00:22:53.200 people into their groups like dude this is fucking wrong okay and until we address this problem as a 0.92

00:22:59.900 real problem and how and how big it is we have members of government who allegedly have been 0.99

00:23:06.660 involved with a dude for years and years and years who was engaged with child sex trafficking and shit 0.98

00:23:14.460 you see what I'm saying right listen dude I think it's way bigger of a problem than people think 0.98

00:23:21.760 I think it's way bigger of a problem than people think I think people when they traditionally think

00:23:26.220 about pedophilia they think of it like okay yeah it's that one weird guy down the street you know

00:23:33.140 that looks like a pedophile but I actually don't think that's what the problem is I think there's a 0.98

00:23:36.880 whole bunch of people that are all connected in some way that are legitimately fucking trying to 0.98

00:23:42.380 normalize it globally and why would they normalize it because they know they're going to get caught and 0.89

00:23:48.160 if they can normalize it before they get caught they won't be held accountable the way that we would

00:23:51.880 normally hold them accountable that's what I think yeah that's what I observe yeah yeah I mean dude 0.95

00:23:58.000 the guy who busted that pizzagate uh conspiracy just got fucking brought up with child porn exactly 0.59

00:24:04.900 you know he's the one that debunked yeah pizzagate being a real thing and then all of a sudden he's 0.99

00:24:10.600 proven to be a pedophile so like dude we as americans need to take a fucking hard stance 0.96

00:24:17.220 and draw a hard line in the sand and what's going to be tolerated and I'm going to tell you this 1.00

00:24:22.700 pedophiles go in the wood chipper bro yeah no that's it it's real shit that's the line the line 1.00

00:24:28.480 is if you fuck with people's kids you go in the wood chipper and we should legitimately consider like 1.00

00:24:33.320 making public examples of these people meaning like torturing them and fucking unaliving them 1.00

00:24:40.720 in public yeah so that people understand why we don't do these things there should be zero tolerance 0.99

00:24:46.820 for this no zero zero zero sympathy I don't give a fuck why you do that I don't care what happened 0.99

00:24:53.700 to you when you were a kid I don't give a shit like we got this victim mentality now where it's like oh 0.99

00:24:58.560 well he's mentally disturbed I don't care not no more into the wood chip yeah we'll solve your problem 0.99

00:25:03.420 he's not mentally disturbed anymore and by the way his mental his mental disturbance is not

00:25:08.740 disturbing any of us exactly okay like so we have to start talking about this in real terms

00:25:14.700 these people are not going to stop they're not going to quit it's being like encouraged at some 0.53

00:25:21.780 levels and it's a big fucking problem dude yeah no it is man it is well guys Andy question number two 0.97

00:25:29.480 Andy I'm the 26 year old young man and was recently beat out of a sales manager position by my team 0.94

00:25:36.920 counterpart my director told me that a contributing factor was that I am definitely a leader but need

00:25:43.420 to learn to not lead with friendliness in your opinion is it bad to be a leader whose team looks

00:25:49.520 at them as both a friend and their leader and if so do I work on being less friendly as I continue to

00:25:55.700 pursue my career and leadership going forward this is a delicate situation I think a lot of people

00:26:01.720 struggle with when it comes to leadership I think people have a hard time drawing the boundary

00:26:05.920 between friendship and leadership and a lot of people try to like draw the solution to this

00:26:14.420 saying like oh we're outside the office so we're going to be friends now or we're that's not where

00:26:19.820 the boundary should be drawn like the boundary should be drawn like look bro you and I are friends 0.99

00:26:24.700 right yeah okay boys okay but when I tell you some fucking real shit do you know I'm talking about 0.99

00:26:30.020 some real shit absolutely okay there's an understanding there switch there's an understanding 0.99

00:26:34.080 of where the line is sure okay and all until I have to enforce the line we're fucking friends 1.00

00:26:39.400 because I treat you with respect and as a grown man to do your shit and handle your shit until that 0.99

00:26:45.000 line is crossed and you everybody in this building knows when that line is crossed immediately and 1.00

00:26:50.280 then I will say hey don't fucking do that and then five minutes later we're friends again right like 0.82

00:26:57.280 it's not there's no like there it's communication man it's like what we talked about a couple weeks 0.98

00:27:01.860 ago it's being direct with your communication it's being comfortable saying exactly what's going on

00:27:06.980 and meaning it and uh and then not holding grudges and now you know I think a lot of people when it

00:27:12.760 comes to this friendship leadership thing I think they look at it like they look at it in the extremes

00:27:21.160 they look at it like well I'm their leader I can't be their friend and bro your people if your people

00:27:25.700 don't somewhat like you they're not going to go to war for you bro right okay secondly there's people

00:27:31.180 who think I have to be the friend to be the leader those people get walked all over they can't leave 0.97

00:27:35.720 where the fuck so you have to find a balance there to be an effective leader and the effective 0.99

00:27:40.320 leadership is hey man yeah I'm being hard on you because I give a fuck about you okay I want you 1.00

00:27:45.800 to fucking win I want you to move into a bigger house and be able to pay for your kids private 1.00

00:27:49.500 school and right now you're fucking up that line yeah okay so this is what I why I'm telling you this 0.99

00:27:55.240 and then we have a conversation and then two minutes later hey you want to smoke cigar right you know 0.95

00:28:00.020 what I'm saying like it's it's it's like that and so like there's a there's a nuance and a balance to

00:28:05.560 it and and the reality is is all the people I see talking about it online they don't lead

00:28:10.220 anybody like bro like like you got like these little Instagram like this yes like these Instagram

00:28:16.500 videos that people talk about leadership they don't even have employees yeah or they have two

00:28:20.920 okay if you if you've led a group of people and you've been effective at leading them and you have

00:28:26.000 accomplished things with them I will listen to what you have to say you know you know that's why

00:28:30.980 football coaches are good to listen to because they're able to coordinate a large number of many

00:28:36.780 different personalities from many different backgrounds and many different life perspectives

00:28:40.340 and get them to operate as a unit to accomplish something which in football is to win a game or

00:28:45.980 win a championship yeah and uh you know we see all these guys on the internet giving these leadership

00:28:51.860 and how many people have they actually led oh I got my I got my personal brand team well that's

00:28:56.300 fucking six people yeah you know I'm saying you know what real leading is is when you've got people 0.51

00:29:00.440 that you can like orchestrate orchestrate like a symphony you guys this you guys that and if you 0.99

00:29:06.820 do this and these guys do that we can win making some fucking yes so like it's it's we have a lot of 0.93

00:29:12.480 bad information about leadership out here you know one of the guys I liked that I think gives a great 0.96

00:29:17.400 uh presents himself as a great leader and I think is a great leader is uh Jocko okay I think Jocko

00:29:24.180 has a lot of great shit to say about leadership I think he's a tremendous leader talking about 0.98

00:29:28.080 accomplishing missions not only exactly yeah where the consequences were if he fucked up it's not 0.99

00:29:33.580 like they lost money people fucking died exactly okay so that's real leadership okay and I think we need 0.97

00:29:40.060 to be real careful about whose opinions we take about leadership we have to ask ourselves like 0.96

00:29:46.120 has this person run a team how many people were on the team what did they accomplish did they win 0.99

00:29:52.880 as a team or did they lose as a team just these fucking videos that keep scrolling 0.98

00:29:57.740 like these people like there's so many people on the internet now they're saying all the companies 0.98

00:30:02.260 I invest in which ones are they all the companies I run which ones are they yeah let's start seeing 0.86

00:30:08.600 some shit let's see your building let's see your customers let's where can we order your product 0.96

00:30:12.640 where can we test out if you are actually living by the principles that you're speaking about on your 1.00

00:30:19.040 little fucking instagram reels okay where do you understand absolutely so like there's so much shit 0.99

00:30:24.220 out here that we have a lot of people that are really confused about what good leadership looks 0.99

00:30:28.040 like and this ruins them because they're listening to people that have never led and never won leading

00:30:33.300 so in my opinion uh leadership coming down to be an effective leader has to do a lot with intent

00:30:41.580 all right meaning do do do you I bet every single person in this building knows that I want them to

00:30:51.060 win I believe they know that I want them to progress and be better and earn more money and build their

00:30:56.780 career I bet they know it okay and that's a fundamental quality for you to have in your team make sure they

00:31:03.980 trust you make sure they know that the best interest of them is in your heart and that's what you're trying

00:31:10.280 and if you can instill that level from the beginning you have far less problems because everybody knows 0.99

00:31:15.840 okay look yeah he might be saying it this way but he's saying it this way because he gives a fuck 0.97

00:31:21.100 all right and so like we have all these other people who overanalyze you know and like I said they end up 1.00

00:31:27.060 being a total dick and they can't get the respect of their team or they are totally soft and they get 0.96

00:31:32.020 run over and they're ineffective and really the truth is is somewhere in the middle is where you want to be 0.99

00:31:36.100 you want to be someone who's respected who your team knows that you care about them who is also

00:31:42.440 driven and that they trust will take the mission and accomplish the mission and uh you know there's a

00:31:50.460 lot to that like leadership we could have a whole entire podcast on leadership and come in here every day

00:31:57.100 talking about a different aspect of leadership but to get back to you know the question hand um it sounds

00:32:04.220 like you're walked all over that's what I think your boss is saying what I think your boss is telling

00:32:08.140 you is that you're allowing your team people like you but you're not as effective as you could be if

00:32:13.120 you were a little bit harder in terms of enforcing the standard holding the line yes yeah yeah because

00:32:18.300 that's what I was gonna follow like okay like who who's speaking more on this like like like when that

00:32:24.580 when that is a situation is that more of a sign that okay you just have bad uh followers right like 1.00

00:32:30.340 there's bad people who you know maybe they're just pieces of shit that like to take advantage and 0.99

00:32:33.660 like don't respect that or is that more of like that no let me ask you something hold on if you 0.99

00:32:39.240 have if you have a team and you're the leader of the team and the team isn't able to perform and

00:32:46.660 you're in charge of who's on the team whose fault is it that they're not performing that's yours yeah

00:32:54.100 yeah okay so that's my fault if I have a team that's not performing then there's one of a couple 0.98

00:33:01.120 things that could be happening and one of them could be that they suck one of them could be that 0.72

00:33:07.480 they're overwhelmed one of them could be they don't believe one of them could they don't believe in me 0.86

00:33:14.140 they don't believe in the mission uh one could be they've been paid too much so they're unmotivated 0.76

00:33:19.920 uh one could be you know there could be a fucking million things that could be that could be doing 0.87

00:33:25.780 it but ultimately the reality of leadership is this you have a mission you have to get everybody to

00:33:31.920 orchestrate and work together as a team to accomplish the mission and uh the only way to do that is to do

00:33:38.840 so in in a way that um you know your team knows that you care about them but they also know that you're

00:33:46.400 not going to be walked over and the more that you're not walked over the more they respect you

00:33:50.840 which the better they perform so like you know i there's just so much to it dude yeah yeah you know

00:33:57.520 i i think and there's art to it too there's a nuance there's a feeling like i can generally feel when 0.91

00:34:02.700 there's some fucking shit got wrong in the team and a lot of this experience like how long earlier 0.92

00:34:09.200 yeah like how long have you been leading like in the beginning of the game dude like 0.99

00:34:14.360 yeah it feels weird to to to balance that dynamic between friends and team but real shit like i don't 0.60

00:34:24.960 even think about that like that doesn't even come into my mind yeah well i mean i think to your point

00:34:29.180 too though like i mean nick saban wasn't nick saban day one right like like all of his his skills as a

00:34:35.120 leader he i'm sure he didn't have that day one is his first day as a head coach right like that stuff

00:34:40.060 has to be developed yeah you know it's gonna take time yeah but dude like if you're if you're leading

00:34:46.460 a team okay and you're you're trying to find this balance between

00:34:54.120 you know am i too hard am i too soft and my friends well what's your definition of friendship

00:35:01.140 because my definition of friendship if i actually care about you is i want the best for you i want

00:35:08.420 you to win i want you to develop i want you to make more money i want i want you to be the best

00:35:12.440 that you can be that's the kind of friends i have i don't have any friends in my life that aren't like

00:35:17.500 that you know and a lot of people interpret friends is like always nice always laughing always having a

00:35:23.800 good time fucking around you ain't got to touch the line right right right yeah and that's not a friend 0.97

00:35:28.600 that's not a fucking friend bro your friends will force you to win and they will help you win 1.00

00:35:33.100 and they will call you out when you're being a fucking bitch yeah okay so like i personally believe 0.99

00:35:41.340 and this is i think what makes me an effective leader and i'm statistically very effective my track 0.99

00:35:48.420 record speaks for itself is the fact that i actually believe in my heart that being a good friend

00:35:56.620 means holding people accountable that's what i believe like if i saw one of my friends 0.94

00:36:01.540 fucking off you know this better than anybody yep if i saw one of my friends living below what the 0.99

00:36:07.420 i'll say it has hey bro the fuck you doing man that's saying how it should be it should be like 1.00

00:36:11.880 this and you know better yep that's the kind of friend i am like bro that's why i don't have that 1.00

00:36:15.980 many friends because most people are too fucking pussy to be friends with me yeah because i'll fucking 1.00

00:36:20.740 straight up tell you bro and you know what that's why i live at a high standard because they can 1.00

00:36:25.000 never turn around and say that shit to me you know what i'm saying so that's another aspect of 0.98

00:36:30.940 being a great leader is living at the highest standard possible in all areas because that way 1.00

00:36:36.380 when you that's a big problem see we can unpack all this shit bro about to it you can't correct 1.00

00:36:40.860 something you ain't got fixed listen bro there's so many leaders out here that are fucking fat 0.99

00:36:45.040 lazy incapable of doing the job that they ask of their team and then they're like well i should 0.98

00:36:50.200 be a leader because i'm a leader and it says so on my paycheck that i'm the leader that doesn't

00:36:54.780 make a leader bro no you know what i'm saying leading makes you a leader so you know there's

00:37:00.420 all kinds of things like are you like what's your physical state what's your mental state what do you

00:37:04.840 look like how do you appear how do you speak how do you behave are you confident i would bet this

00:37:10.380 person's not very confident i would bet this person is very afraid on the inside i would bet this 0.98

00:37:14.860 person's terrified of having a real conversation with anybody about fucking anything you know what 0.97

00:37:20.620 i mean yeah so bro that's a confidence issue yeah so make your confidence come up 75 hard is a great 0.95

00:37:28.200 way to do that you know there's just a lot of aspects to it dude but like at the end of the day 0.96

00:37:33.840 here's the thing you know what makes an effective leader the motherfucker that gets the job done that's 0.99

00:37:39.120 it so you could take all this shit and you could throw it off the table but i'll bet you the dude that 1.00

00:37:43.660 got the fucking job i bet he gets the job done better than you and that's that all right may not 1.00

00:37:48.380 like it hey look there's a lot of there are leaders if you have to pick between being a leader that gets 1.00

00:37:54.020 walked over and the leader everybody hates be the one they hate be the one they hate okay be the one 0.93

00:38:00.020 that forces it that's required sometimes dude when i was younger in business i was a fuck okay like if 1.00

00:38:06.140 you fucked with me i would fucking bury you i would cut your fucking head off in front of everybody 1.00

00:38:10.580 i realized through maturity that wasn't good okay but here's the deal here's the deal the job got 1.00

00:38:17.760 done yeah i'm here today because of that because we did what the fuck we had to do yeah you see what 0.92

00:38:23.540 i'm saying absolutely man absolutely i love it man guys there's a lot to it yeah guys any question

00:38:29.240 number three hi andy i'm uh i am an artist and recently uh earned my tattoo license i've been tattooing

00:38:38.100 for eight months now my problem is my confidence in charging my client what i know i'm worth because

00:38:45.280 i am new most times i throw a deal in front of the client which is usually less than what i think i

00:38:50.660 should charge hoping that they will see my talent and compensate with the tip but more often than not

00:38:57.000 that doesn't happen and i feel resentful and not getting enough to cover my costs how do i put my talent

00:39:02.800 skill and my time first when quoting a price to my clients without feeling guilty about what i charge

00:39:09.540 i know what i deserve but i don't know how to be confident in what i deserve that person's full of 0.98

00:39:16.260 shit if you actually deserve that you would charge that okay real talk let's address this step by step 0.98

00:39:24.120 first of all how good are you after eight months bro okay let's be real i wouldn't let you within a 1.00

00:39:30.500 hundred miles of my fucking skin if you've only been tattooing for eight months not happening okay so 0.96

00:39:36.160 let's assess our abilities properly you are a brand new tattoo artist you are eight months in you really 1.00

00:39:43.460 don't know shit okay i don't have to see your shit i know you don't know shit all right so you're 0.99

00:39:49.720 probably not worth whatever the fuck you think you're worth that's the first thing the second 1.00

00:39:54.460 thing is is if you were worth what you think you're worth and you were delivering this amazingly 0.98

00:40:01.220 beautiful art of tattoo work and you charge the price that you feel is undervalued people would say 0.94

00:40:09.220 how the fuck bro this ain't right they would say that yeah okay not everybody but but people would 0.99

00:40:15.380 and it would become a thing well what happened is people would say bro go to steve look how fucking 0.99

00:40:20.760 good he is and look how cheap he is okay you would start hearing that kind of stuff and because you're 0.52

00:40:25.780 not hearing that kind of stuff it means you're overestimating your own value and your own skill

00:40:30.280 okay so do yourself a favor and remember where you are you're eight months in the game bro you're at the

00:40:36.340 beginning you're a rookie okay you're gonna have to do rookie things in the beginning and rookie

00:40:42.560 things mean i'm gonna have to do things for low or free cost that's the reality all right so let's

00:40:50.300 start there you're probably still in a place where you're getting paid what you deserve now let's flip

00:40:58.040 it and let's say you are the who you say you are and you're undercharging picasso now listen bro

00:41:06.420 listen to what i just said yeah if that man actually believed he was worth what he says and

00:41:14.120 what he's trying to say he's worth then why would he not charge that in the first place i don't have

00:41:20.120 any issue charging fucking anything for why is there a doubt there is no doubt yeah like bro i get 0.99

00:41:25.060 hundreds of thousands of dollars to speak i don't feel bad should i be charging that yeah i'm like fuck 0.97

00:41:30.800 dude okay well uh i'm pretty much one of the best in the world and i actually do real things in real 0.95

00:41:36.720 life i'm taking away from this to go do that you're gonna fucking pay me and i don't feel bad in fact i 0.98

00:41:41.960 don't even do the events because i feel like i can't even charge what i'm actually worth because it's not 0.74

00:41:45.700 worth my time to do yeah you see what i'm saying so um so we got to be real if you really believe this

00:41:52.940 bro you would have no problem charging it all right so here's how i would recommend this person

00:41:57.940 get around this issue and then we'll cover what we'll cover another part of it you

00:42:03.080 should work on becoming so undeniably great that is obvious that you're worth that right now there's

00:42:09.760 a question and there's even a question in your mind otherwise you'd just be charging it all right

00:42:14.340 so you should focus on your experience and your skill set you're gaining and the customer base that

00:42:18.380 you're building creating an amazing situation for people to spread the word of mouth that you are an

00:42:24.400 amazing tattoo artist okay that's because look look here's the reality about tattoos 0.99

00:42:29.140 people really don't give a fuck what they cost they want the best shit they want the coolest shit 0.98

00:42:34.180 okay so we're not talking about the drunk girls on the weekend getting them we're not talking about 1.00

00:42:38.580 spuds mckenzie tattoos we're talking about real shit though yeah yeah like we're talking yeah we're 0.98

00:42:42.500 we're not talking about pokemon tattoo you know what i'm saying right we're not talking about some 0.99

00:42:48.260 some little bitty fucking font it's this big and can't read down your spine like every instagram 0.98

00:42:54.240 girl has the heart with arrows yeah bro look we're talking about fucking actual tattooing art art yeah 0.99

00:43:01.140 you're an artist and tattooing should be looked at as a cosmetic procedure no different than a woman 1.00

00:43:06.140 who's getting fake breasts all right you want you don't want to get your you don't want to get the 1.00

00:43:10.640 fucking cheapest titties okay you don't want to get the cheapest fucking eye surgery like you want to be 0.99

00:43:16.440 the best that's what people want and there are price levels to that and whatever your experience is 0.99

00:43:23.680 you want to be the best of the beginners okay so you work on the skill set over deliver create an

00:43:29.120 amazing customer experience build your book okay and as your book builds you start to get exclusivity 0.87

00:43:35.180 and if your shit's good you can start telling people no and then what happens is your price 0.84

00:43:39.000 goes up all right so that's the strategy okay okay that's the you have to make yourself scarce 0.99

00:43:44.320 through volume and that comes from doing things for cheap in the beginning getting to a point where 0.91

00:43:49.120 you can't get to everybody raise your fucking price and that's what it is now if you're in this 0.95

00:43:54.340 situation and let's say you are already there and you really do have a problem asking for money from 0.99

00:44:00.860 people understand first is that you will always struggle with money if you have a problem asking

00:44:06.480 for money or talking about money or speaking about money or talking any you will always be in a position

00:44:12.460 of having no money all right so what you have to work on is you have to understand that there's a lot

00:44:21.220 of people out here that have a lot more money than you think okay and salesmen do this quite often

00:44:25.680 they will sell the customer based upon their own financial situation so like if you take a salesman

00:44:31.840 who let's say they have three hundred dollars in their bank account and they're struggling for money

00:44:36.460 and they can't really like you know feel comfortable when they go talk to a customer they start to

00:44:42.520 project their own financial system situation onto that customer they start doing things like judging 0.97

00:44:47.400 the customer based upon how they appear thinking well this fucking guy can't i've got three hundred 0.98

00:44:52.180 dollars he can't have more than three hundred dollars i'm talking to him about fifty thousand 0.99

00:44:55.320 dollar truck how am i going to do that he's only got three hundred dollars when in reality dude 0.99

00:44:59.120 you don't know that guy might be fuck that guy might be a fucking billionaire right you have no idea 0.99

00:45:03.420 okay so stop judging people based upon how they look or your own personal financial situation a lot of 0.99

00:45:10.620 the insecurities about charging for things come from their own financial securities that they project on to

00:45:15.700 the client yep um third of all you know you have to understand everybody in the world understands how 0.99

00:45:22.000 business works they understand like i pull out my wallet i give you some money you give me some shit 0.95

00:45:26.740 all right and i understand how that's weird in the beginning when you're like operating as an

00:45:30.840 entrepreneur you're not used to that because i can remember back in the day when i started the first

00:45:34.880 store i felt like i had to give everybody a discount i felt like i had to like you know because i didn't

00:45:40.620 have no money yeah and that's how i figured this out i'm like why do i feel like i have to always give 0.85

00:45:44.580 people a discount well the reason was because i needed a discount shit was a lot of money to me 0.76

00:45:49.300 you see what i'm saying so there's a lot of mental hurdles to get over here but the main one is this 0.97

00:45:54.940 if you're undeniably great you could pretty much charge whatever the fuck you want and it sounds to 0.51

00:45:59.740 me like instead of you focusing on what you're making now you should be focusing on getting much 0.96

00:46:04.860 better where people like would line up to get tattoos from you and then you can start to work on your

00:46:08.900 pricing yeah that's my opinion no there's a whole bunch of things that you can do to work on this but

00:46:13.620 it's a psychological uh you know it's a psychological hang-up most of the time if you

00:46:20.120 you know most people they understand what things cost they understand that things cost money people

00:46:25.640 know that tattoos cost a lot of money um it's it's like so much it's so well known there's memes about 0.99

00:46:30.700 it you know what i'm saying like bro if your shit's if your shit is actually good charge what you think 0.99

00:46:36.020 it's worth and the market will tell you the truth people will either pay it or they won't and you can't 0.99

00:46:40.700 take that personal if they don't pay it you know what they're telling you you ain't good enough yet

00:46:44.880 if they do pay it and they don't ask any questions and you have a line of people out the door saying 0.99

00:46:50.200 fuck i want one you're you're probably too low you know what i'm saying like the market will give you 0.96

00:46:55.580 the proper feedback to for you to decide where your pricing should be and it sounds to me right now 0.99

00:47:00.700 like you know dude you just got some experience to gain some work to do and some skills to acquire

00:47:05.080 and uh and if i were this person i would be working on creating a mate an amazing book of

00:47:12.180 business and an amazing experience for all these customers so that you have an army of people out

00:47:16.400 here talking about your tattooing that's that's where you start and you keep getting better and 0.86

00:47:21.020 better and better and better i mean bro eight months is bullshit let's be real eight months is 0.99

00:47:25.040 bullshit bro i take shits longer than eight months yeah real talk real talk bro eight months wow i'm not 0.99

00:47:30.900 a billionaire yeah that's right you know what i'm saying like in the big scheme of things eight 1.00

00:47:34.580 months isn't that's fucking nothing yeah okay so let's let's quit this shit you're not going to 0.99

00:47:38.720 be one of these 10 grand a day dudes in fucking eight months it ain't happening you know what i mean 0.99

00:47:44.440 yeah so let's be real about where we are let's ask ourselves and introspectively what is the hang 0.95

00:47:50.780 up why am i struggling with this why do i have this doubt and then let's focus on getting better let's

00:47:56.740 focus on building the word of mouth and let's create a situation where the price has to go up because

00:48:01.060 you're so good and you're so in demand that's the best way to do it i love it man well guys andy

00:48:06.640 that was three yep all right guys uh don't be a hoe show the show 1.00
