When we set out on our new paths, we inevitably meet resistance from people who are on different paths. In this episode, I talk about how to deal with it and how to overcome the people who have never had it all and are set on staying exactly where they are.

00:00:00.000 what is up guys it's andy priscilla and this is the show for the realists say goodbye to the lies 0.98
00:00:20.940 the fakeness and delusions of modern society and welcome to motherfucking reality guys today we 0.75
00:00:25.540 have real talk i'm just going to get right into it as usual um look a lot of you guys are working to 0.65
00:00:33.740 make make changes in your life okay you are trying hard to change the direction that you have been
00:00:41.280 going maybe you need a little brush up maybe you need a total tear down and rebuild who knows it's
00:00:48.100 irrelevant but when we set out on these new paths we inevitably meet resistance from people who are
00:00:57.340 on different paths and i want to talk a little bit about that today i was scrolling through instagram
00:01:03.500 yesterday and i saw this video on a car page for those of you who don't know i like cars cars are
00:01:09.880 awesome big part of my life is cars and i fucking love them all right and i saw this video of this 0.93
00:01:15.800 dude going down the road uh in a lamborghini and he had a top down and he was having a fucking blast 0.96
00:01:23.000 driving his car dude big ass smile on his face uh hard up shifts having a good time laughing enjoying 0.97
00:01:31.020 his life i loved it and then i looked at the comments and the comments were thousands deep
00:01:39.800 and while there were the occasional comment of this is awesome i love this this is great look at this 1.00
00:01:48.140 guy he's happy as fuck the comment section was filled with fucking losers okay everybody was saying 0.99
00:01:57.060 things like this our money can't buy you happiness you know look at all the money he spent on that car 1.00
00:02:03.200 he could have been doing this or this or this uh i guarantee you when that guy goes home he's not 1.00
00:02:09.480 really happy okay first of all motherfucker none of you are happy not a single motherfucking one of you 0.99
00:02:15.680 making those comments about someone on the internet are happy second of all you have no idea what that man 1.00
00:02:20.660 has gone through you have no idea what he's done you have no idea the price he's paid you have no idea 0.99
00:02:25.940 and i say this to say this to you they don't know what the fuck they are talking about all right that's 0.95
00:02:37.040 your friends that's your family that's the people who tell you that money won't make you happy uh money 0.98
00:02:44.580 makes you a lot fucking happier than not having it and you never hear someone who has some money
00:02:49.680 saying any of these things and the point is this people who are set on staying exactly where they 0.58
00:02:59.240 are are always going to say things to you to make you feel bad about going on your journey we have to
00:03:06.600 become more aware we have to say hey am i going to listen to this person who's never had any money
00:03:14.720 who's never had any success who's never done anything about his perspective on what this thing
00:03:21.220 does in my life no we are not all right so take this situation that i'm talking about money and apply
00:03:30.520 it to literally any other situation in your life it could be your fitness it could be a new job it could
00:03:37.280 be a new relationship it could be a new uh realignment of what you believe your purpose to be
00:03:43.840 it could be a whole bunch of different things but here's the thing when you change what it is
00:03:50.320 that everybody else knows you as you are going to meet resistance and you are going to get comments
00:03:57.200 from the peanut gallery all right i call them the crickets okay because crickets like to chirp
00:04:02.680 and when crickets chirp the most is when you're not around they chirp and they chirp and they chirp and 0.95
00:04:08.060 they're loud as fuck until what until you walk right up on them and then they get 0.99
00:04:13.560 silent and that is the world that we live in we live in a world of loser crickets we live in a 1.00
00:04:20.840 world of regular people who are never going to do shit who have already given up on their dreams who 0.98
00:04:26.600 have already decided that they are going to be this certain kind of person from now until the time that 0.97
00:04:31.320 they die and when you step out the the boundaries that they have set for themselves you are going to
00:04:39.140 hear about it you are going to get negativity you are going to get people laughing at you you are going
00:04:44.900 to get people making fun of you you're going to get people telling you that you're not being realistic
00:04:49.780 and that you're not humble and that you're not a good person and that they're morally superior
00:04:54.900 look dude this is the price of admittance too many of you are worried about this chirping
00:05:01.700 and not worried about what it is you're trying to do and doing that because here's the thing about
00:05:07.540 success and winning in any area of life not just monetarily is that the further you go the further
00:05:14.740 away you get from those people and the further away you get from those people the less you give a
00:05:19.940 fuck about what they had to say about you but most people spend their entire lives seeking the approval 0.89
00:05:27.380 of people who don't even approve of themselves they don't even appreciate their own skills or their own 1.00
00:05:34.100 gifts or even think about their own potential so who the fuck are you to think that you have potential if 0.97
00:05:39.860 they don't that's their perspective their perspective is you're just like us you're not one of them 0.99
00:05:46.900 what are you doing trying to be one of them you're one of us and anytime you try to become one of them you
00:05:52.900 become the topic of conversation all right and this is what it takes this is what it costs this is what
00:06:00.180 we deal with whenever we're stepping out to do anything or change anything about our lives we are
00:06:05.060 removing ourselves from the boundaries of normalcy and common and moving ourselves within the boundaries
00:06:12.340 of exceptional and that makes other people uncomfortable because it forces them to examine
00:06:18.420 their own potential and their own reality and face the facts that they have exercised absolutely
00:06:25.140 none of it that is what you are dealing with you are not dealing with actual hate you are dealing with
00:06:31.300 them hating themselves and projecting it on you okay and if you're not capable if you're not able if you're
00:06:38.660 not someone who can tolerate this sort of criticism and you're going to bend your will to these people who
00:06:44.900 can never be pleased they can never be pleased you will lose and you won't just lose today you'll lose
00:06:53.700 tomorrow you'll lose next week you'll lose next month you'll lose next year and you're going to end up
00:06:58.500 being a loser just like they will so first off you have to understand people who've known you your whole
00:07:05.940 life who known you through all the ups and downs and who have been around you your whole existence these 0.96
00:07:11.700 are the people with the most to say these are the people with the most chirps these are the people
00:07:16.340 that say who do you think you are what are you trying to do don't forget where you came from
00:07:23.300 you need to be a little more humble you need to think more realistically
00:07:29.780 when are you going to get serious about thinking realistic we've all heard this 0.99
00:07:34.260 shit and a million other things and it always comes from the same people it comes from the people 0.98
00:07:40.100 and i can tell you this because i have the perspective it comes from the people who are 1.00
00:07:44.420 never going to do a single fucking thing in their entire lives they are going to sit there they're 0.99
00:07:50.820 going to get fat they're going to get lazy they're going to stay broke they're going to stay miserable 0.99
00:07:55.860 and they're going to try to keep you there as well okay this is crabs in a bucket mentality
00:08:01.460 if you try to escape they try to pull you back in and you have to escape because if you don't you
00:08:08.020 will live your whole life doing the exact same things you've always done with the exact same
00:08:12.820 people you've always done them getting the exact same result that you've always gotten and that's
00:08:17.780 what has you frustrated and angry and pissed off and aggravated with yourself but then the minute you
00:08:25.140 try to change it and these people start to chirp you start to get scared you start to pull back you
00:08:31.300 start to say well you know i don't know if i'm really trying to do that dude look you need to
00:08:35.860 step the fuck up and go at this without apologizing without making compromise without trying to satisfy 0.88
00:08:43.940 these people who will never be satisfied because if you spend any amount of energy trying to make them 0.96
00:08:51.140 happy when they can never be happy that's less energy that you have to spend on what it is you're
00:08:55.780 trying to do okay so realize this the world's miserable for the most part miserable people are the loudest
00:09:03.780 for the most part and the people who are going to be the absolute loudest are the people that've known
00:09:07.860 you your whole life they're going to be people you grew up with they're going to be friends they're
00:09:12.260 going to be family they're going to be neighbors they're going to be people who say what are you
00:09:15.380 doing what do you mean you're doing that what are you just going to do that when i started in business 0.98
00:09:21.140 dude i had everybody telling me this shit everybody at first it was oh that's so cool you're starting a 0.98
00:09:28.980 business and then after you know it wore off it was hey when are you going to get more realistic 0.99
00:09:35.940 when are you going to go get a real job when you're going to stop playing business do you still have
00:09:40.420 that little vitamin shop then 10 years in when we started first form it was what are you making that
00:09:47.380 stuff in your bathtub what you're just going to start a supplement company you're in st louis no one's 1.00
00:09:53.060 going to buy that no one's going to buy those supplements okay well guess what motherfucker 0.99
00:09:59.700 people do buy them and i'm sitting here today talking to you because i didn't listen to any of 0.99
00:10:04.100 the shit they told me but you're just trying to get in shape you're just trying to improve your life a 0.82
00:10:09.700 little bit and you're worried about what your old friends from the old neighborhood had to say about 1.00
00:10:13.620 it dude listen if you can't insulate yourself mentally and get enough callous in your mind to ignore
00:10:20.980 the negativity that people use against you you cannot win and on top of that if you lack the
00:10:28.180 ability to take their words to take their snarky comments to take their disrespect and turn it into
00:10:35.780 productive action you can't win because there's an abundance of this energy at all times it doesn't
00:10:41.780 matter where you are on the path it doesn't matter if you're on day one or day 1000 or day 10 000
00:10:47.780 there's always going to be people that don't believe there are people every single day when i 0.99
00:10:52.100 tell them what the fuck i'm going to do that tell me i'm full of shit even to this point and i've been 0.97
00:10:57.300 doing this for 25 years and by all accounts any standard anyone's standard i've done very well 0.99
00:11:05.380 okay this is the price of the ticket to play the game you are going to have to learn to deal with 1.00
00:11:13.380 negativity you're going to have to look people in the eye and say fuck off and you are going to have 0.99
00:11:19.460 to take negativity doubt disbelief and turn it in to productive action because i can promise you no 0.99
00:11:26.820 matter what the internet gurus tell you no matter what the feel-good meditators out there tell you
00:11:32.100 you will have far more available negative energy to work with than you will positive and if you spend all
00:11:37.300 your time trying to remove every bit of negativity and control everything that people think and control
00:11:43.220 everything that people say you will have no energy left to go build the thing so let's start today
00:11:50.820 what they think what they have to say and start moving forward it's your life you only have one
00:11:59.940 and i can think of no bigger tragedy than for someone to waste all of their life and all of their
00:12:04.980 potential and all of their potential story and their example which by the way is needed more than 1.00
00:12:11.380 ever right now in this country and wasting it because some fucking idiot who's never going to do 1.00
00:12:18.500 shit is saying some bullshit in your ear okay that's weak as fuck you have an obligation to extract 1.00
00:12:27.860 the potential that is within you you were given gifts you were given a purpose you may not know what 1.00
00:12:33.620 they are yet but it is your duty to figure out what they are it is your duty to become the best
00:12:39.620 possible version of yourself it's not just about you it's not just about whatever you're going to
00:12:46.260 get it's about the example that you're setting for every single person around you it's the example in
00:12:51.700 your household it's the example in your neighborhood it's the example in your community it's the example in
00:12:57.460 your city it's the example in your state and if we all took that seriously the world wouldn't look the 0.99
00:13:02.740 way that it looks so think about that for a second our entire world looks like a fucking dumpster fire 0.99
00:13:10.420 because people are so uncomfortable with criticism that they bow to it and they shrink themselves 0.98
00:13:16.980 and they make themselves irrelevant so that they can avoid any sort of critiques or criticism or comments
00:13:23.140 and by the way you're still going to get comments even when you do that they're just going to be 0.92
00:13:26.900 different it's going to be this guy's a loser why didn't you ever do anything with your life 0.96
00:13:32.260 what could you have been but you aren't look what you could have done so you're going to get it no 0.97
00:13:37.380 matter what you're going to get it no matter what you're either going to get it for going out and
00:13:42.180 trying hard and falling on your face and they're going to laugh at you because you're going to fall 0.89
00:13:47.060 on your face or you're going to get it from not trying and you're going to be called a loser and you're
00:13:52.580 going to be made fun of and you're going to get walked on and walked over your whole entire life you're
00:13:56.900 not going to have money to pay your bills you're not going to have the ability to live the life that you want
00:14:01.880 It's your choice.
00:14:03.260 But the negativity is going to come either way.
00:14:05.460 It's just choosing which one you want to deal with.
00:14:07.740 And I'm telling you guys right now, when I see comments like that on the internet, 0.99
00:14:12.500 thousands deep of people saying shit like, oh, look at this guy. 0.96
00:14:16.300 He's this and that and this. 0.99
00:14:17.340 It makes me fucking laugh. 0.98
00:14:19.580 It makes me fucking laugh because I know that every single one of those people would trade 1.00
00:14:26.040 places with that man in one fucking millisecond. 1.00
00:14:29.240 But they're cowards and they're pussies and they're weak. 1.00
00:14:33.300 And so all they do is they go on the internet and talk some shit instead of ever going out 1.00
00:14:39.060 and building stuff like you're trying to do. 0.80
00:14:41.480 So if you're on the journey and you're having trouble dealing with this, remember this.
00:14:46.620 This is true for everyone.
00:14:48.440 This is part of the path.
00:14:49.800 This is the price of admission.
00:14:51.440 You have to learn to tolerate it and then use it to get yourself where you want to go. 1.00
00:14:56.240 I don't give a fuck if it's your mom. 0.99
00:14:57.960 I don't care if it's your dad. 1.00
00:14:59.620 I don't care if it's your brother.
00:15:01.040 I don't care if it's your neighbor.
00:15:02.520 I don't care if it's your aunt or your uncle or your friends. 0.99
00:15:05.180 I don't give a shit who it is. 0.99
00:15:07.320 Because every single time I talk about this, you guys say, well, what do you do if it's 0.99
00:15:13.060 your parents? 1.00
00:15:14.200 Well, you get the fuck away from them. 1.00
00:15:16.420 What do you do if it's your brother? 1.00
00:15:18.120 You tell your brother to eat a dick and go do the shit you're going to do. 1.00
00:15:22.240 Okay? 1.00
00:15:22.740 That's reality.
00:15:24.560 Your life is your life.
00:15:26.100 Your parents' approving of your life by the time you're an adult is irrelevant. 0.99
00:15:31.360 If you got some shitty parents, I'm sorry. 1.00
00:15:34.280 Lots of people have gone out and done incredible things with shitty fucking parents. 1.00
00:15:39.140 Lots of people have gone out and done incredible things with incredible amounts of hardship. 1.00
00:15:44.380 A million times harder than what you faced.
00:15:46.620 Well, how do you know what I faced?
00:15:48.000 I don't need to know. 1.00
00:15:48.880 Because there's motherfuckers out here who are deaf, dumb, and blind creating fucking 1.00
00:15:53.480 billions of dollars. 1.00
00:15:55.140 And you're fucking over here sitting there crying about what you can and can't do because 1.00
00:15:58.480 your parents said some comment to you about being realistic. 1.00
00:16:01.500 Grow the fuck up. 0.99
00:16:03.440 Okay? 0.99
00:16:03.860 Do you want it or do you not want it?
00:16:05.400 Do you want to become what it is you want to become?
00:16:07.460 Or do you want to sit there and think about what it is you could have became?
00:16:11.420 Those are your options.
00:16:13.240 And guess what?
00:16:13.880 You're going to get made fun of both ways. 0.99
00:16:16.280 So grow the fuck up. 0.99
00:16:17.220 Get a backbone. 0.99
00:16:17.940 Understand it's the price of admission.
00:16:19.560 Use it for fuel to move forward. 1.00
00:16:21.260 And go kick some ass. 1.00
00:16:22.440 The world needs your story. 1.00
00:16:23.880 The world needs your example.
00:16:25.380 The world needs everything that you are it needs. 1.00
00:16:29.400 It doesn't need you to sit there like a bump on the log and drink fucking Bud Lights at the 1.00
00:16:33.200 fucking bar on Tuesday. 1.00
00:16:34.820 It needs you to go out and become your ultimate potential. 0.99
00:16:37.920 It needs you to become the personal excellence example so that everybody else knows what 0.98
00:16:42.780 the fuck that looks like. 0.98
00:16:44.100 That is a duty of yours as an individual. 0.99
00:16:46.020 And I don't care if you have zero followers.
00:16:47.820 I don't care if you have a gazillion followers.
00:16:49.880 I don't care if you have no platform or a massive podcast.
00:16:53.060 Your example matters and it matters a lot to people that you don't even know yet.
00:16:57.960 Your example, your potential, the thing that you're going to become will inspire people 0.73
00:17:02.440 that you haven't even fucking met yet. 0.92
00:17:04.260 It'll change the course of people's lives. 0.98
00:17:08.260 But you're too worried about what people have to say.
00:17:12.860 And those people that have to say that, you don't even know them.
00:17:15.700 They're on the internet. 0.99
00:17:17.000 And the people you do know, what the fuck are they doing? 0.99
00:17:19.540 Oh, that's right. 0.99
00:17:20.400 They're sitting there criticizing everybody, blaming everybody for everything, thinking 0.99
00:17:24.120 they got the world figured out when clearly they fucking don't. 1.00
00:17:27.220 They live in a shithole. 1.00
00:17:28.360 They drive a shithole. 1.00
00:17:29.300 They got a shitty bank account. 1.00
00:17:30.340 They got a shitty life. 1.00
00:17:31.140 They look like shit. 1.00
00:17:31.940 And you're listening to them about what the fuck you should do. 1.00
00:17:34.920 That's insanity, dude. 1.00
00:17:37.100 Dude, we got to look at the environment that we live in.
00:17:39.700 We live in this victim culture environment that is all full of people who are trying to
00:17:44.460 be fulfilled and happy and have this great life.
00:17:47.200 And they somehow don't need any money. 1.00
00:17:49.500 Have you ever met someone that's truly happy that can't pay their fucking bills? 1.00
00:17:53.300 Have you ever met someone that's truly happy that can't fucking eat? 1.00
00:17:55.900 Oh, well, you know what? 0.99
00:17:58.400 I can serve people. 1.00
00:18:00.140 Motherfucker, can you serve more people with money or can you serve more people with no 1.00
00:18:03.780 money? 1.00
00:18:04.960 You might be able to go serve some soup on Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I can build 1.00
00:18:08.780 fucking schools and I do. 0.99
00:18:12.060 Okay, so let's get realistic about what they're telling us. 0.99
00:18:15.340 They're telling us we don't need these things.
00:18:17.360 We need to be fulfilled.
00:18:18.600 We need to go out and touch the ground and breathe the air. 1.00
00:18:21.320 No shit, Sherlock. 1.00
00:18:22.460 That's what the fuck we're supposed to do. 1.00
00:18:24.020 But it makes it a lot easier when you have the financial means to do some shit in real 1.00
00:18:27.960 life. 0.99
00:18:28.340 And if you actually gave a fuck about helping people, you would get serious about making 0.96
00:18:33.040 lots of money because you can help so many more people. 0.96
00:18:36.060 All right?
00:18:36.880 I can do this all day. 1.00
00:18:38.660 I can defeat these fucking losers all motherfucking day because they don't know what the fuck they're 1.00
00:18:45.300 talking about. 1.00
00:18:46.160 They're repeating something that is programmed into our society to keep you powerless.
00:18:51.640 We talk about this on the show all the time. 0.91
00:18:55.740 They want you fat. 0.99
00:18:57.140 They want you sick. 1.00
00:18:58.440 They want you broke. 0.89
00:18:59.980 They want you confused. 1.00
00:19:01.580 They want you dumb. 0.99
00:19:03.040 Because when you do all of these things, you become a mega consumer. 1.00
00:19:07.480 If you're fat, you're eating their food.
00:19:09.920 If you eat their food, you get sick.
00:19:11.560 If you get sick, you have to use their drugs.
00:19:13.640 Because you become a perpetual customer of theirs by becoming this thing that they tell 0.98
00:19:18.640 you you should become based around moral standard, which isn't even fucking true. 0.99
00:19:23.240 And these people who tell you this in real life, they are cancer. 1.00
00:19:28.240 They will kill your dreams. 0.63
00:19:31.280 What do we do with cancer?
00:19:33.340 We cut it out.
00:19:34.540 So if you have people in your life, and I don't care if it's your mom, I don't care if it's 0.99
00:19:39.400 your dad, I don't care who it is, and they're feeding you this line of shit every time you're 0.95
00:19:43.980 out here trying to build or create, you need to get away from them. 0.99
00:19:48.700 Because building and creating takes so much energy that we cannot afford to use any of 0.92
00:19:54.860 it wasted on people who are not on the fucking same journey. 0.94
00:19:58.560 And you also can't expect people who aren't on the journey to ever understand what you're 0.92
00:20:04.100 trying to do until you go out and do it.
00:20:09.160 Because once you go out and do it, that makes things click over in people's brains. 1.00
00:20:14.340 People are like, oh shit. 0.98
00:20:16.060 And this is why your example is so important. 0.99
00:20:18.780 You can preach it.
00:20:19.920 You can talk about it.
00:20:21.260 You can go to every seminar.
00:20:23.240 You can listen to every podcast.
00:20:24.960 You can buy every course. 1.00
00:20:26.580 You can do all the shit. 0.99
00:20:27.620 But until you build it, until you become it, they will not change. 0.99
00:20:32.120 So if you actually care about these people, distance yourself from them. 0.99
00:20:36.980 Go out and become what it is you say you're going to become and let them fucking see it. 0.98
00:20:41.900 Because that's what will change them. 0.99
00:20:44.280 That's what will change the culture.
00:20:46.280 That's what's going to change the country.
00:20:48.300 You guys complain about America, but you're not being the Americans that we need. 0.98
00:20:54.100 We need personal excellence.
00:20:56.040 That means you.
00:20:57.780 Not everybody else.
00:20:59.200 You.
00:21:00.320 And you have to become it if we want to change what's going on.
00:21:04.360 Listen to people who would actually know what it's like to build something.
00:21:08.060 Become something.
00:21:09.760 Be something in real life.
00:21:11.940 Take their advice seriously.
00:21:13.980 Because I can promise you, not a single one of those people and those thousands of comments
00:21:17.980 criticizing that man driving down the road in his Lamborghini. 0.99
00:21:20.520 Know what it's fucking like to even fucking smell the inside of a Lamborghini. 1.00
00:21:25.240 You can't listen to that shit. 1.00
00:21:27.480 So go out there. 1.00
00:21:28.960 Be the best that you can.
00:21:30.600 Do what you can.
00:21:31.460 And let the crickets chirp.
00:21:33.280 And remember, the further you go, the farther you go, the less you'll care.
00:21:38.220 And eventually you'll be in a place where you're here to look back and you'll say,
00:21:40.800 I can't believe I even cared about that.
00:21:42.940 I can't believe I let this guy's opinion annoy me. 1.00
00:21:46.040 Look at this fucking guy. 1.00
00:21:47.460 This guy's over here buying lottery tickets at fucking seven o'clock in the morning with 1.00
00:21:51.160 a 40 ounce. 0.99
00:21:51.860 And I'm fucking worried about what he has to say about me. 1.00
00:21:55.500 Fuck him. 1.00
00:21:56.000 We need a lot more fuck you in the world right now. 1.00
00:21:59.380 And you need a lot more of it. 1.00
00:22:00.820 So go serve it up.
00:22:02.060 Nice and cold. 1.00
00:22:03.260 With your fucking results. 1.00
00:22:14.500 Got her on bankroll. 1.00
00:22:16.140 Can't fold.
00:22:17.020 Doesn't know.
00:22:17.820 Headshot.
00:22:18.660 Case closed.
